Mom just called to tell me my grandma in hospice care passed away, then continued about funeral plans and such. Then I was giving one word answers, and she said, "aw [name] are you crying? I'm sorry, I know you're sensitive."
It's your mother that just died??? Where are your tears??? You didn't expect me to cry?
#Granted she's the one who tells me it's ok to cry and she also said she wished she could hug me rn.#But honestly I didn't even know this grandmother so well and I was kinda expecting her crying to be the thing that tipped ME into crying.#But no.#The last time I full-out wept I was surprised how my crying voice sounds like a grown woman now but dammit I still feel like a baby#Ugh ok rant over.
