Flash Commissions: Medical Bill Edition

Hello all!

So, in February, I had to go to the ER for a serious acute illness (I'm healed, don't worry!)

My insurance denied covering the bill for a test, despite telling me they would cover EVERYTHING for this ER visit, leaving me on the hook for almost 900 dollars.

We love the American healthcare system.

Anyways, this means I am opening up some fast, cheap commissions earlier than expected because while I will try to fight my insurance, I don't have this kind of money, and I can't just. Decide to not pay the bill because I do not want that to go to collections.

Please be aware that I am a working adult, so commissions would probably take a month or two to finish(or a couple weeks at very least!) Prices are listed in the attached images but I’ll list them out here, too:

More than one character in a drawing is an added 5$ dollars per character actually, I decided on that just now(not 10!)

Sketches of characters will be cheapest! They will be clean sketches, of course and they will be 5-10$ depending on certain factors. If it’s more than one character there is opportunity for negotiation to not add the extra 5$ but ONLY for sketches. (These apply to puppet characters and character design as well.)

Emotes will be 10$ for flat color and 15$ for rendered ones.

If you want a full illustration with your characters (dialogue included and backgrounds) it will be 35-50$ depending on how many characters and how much detail is wanted. For Lineart of illustrations it will be 35$(By illustrations I mean the two examples I showed in the second image.)

I’m completely fine with drawing Gacha characters, minecraft characters, Demi-humans, and puppets(of course!) I’m on the fence on drawing roblox avatars and furries(I don’t feel qualified enough for those) And absolutely no NSFW. I don’t have anything against NSFW and actually doodle it personally but I would rather not open up commissions for it.

Oh! Also! All commissions will have the payment split in half, I feel most comfortable splitting the transactions into two payments, the first half when we agree on the concept of the commission and the second half once the comm is finished!

Hello everyone! I gotta pay for rent so I am opening up commissions for the first time ever! Please read over everything carefully. I don’t have a lot of rules, but I like to be clear about how it all works!

First of all, I can only accept US dollars. I can take payment through PayPal mostly, but any other trusted sources for transactions I am willing to get setup if that works better for anyone :)!

Here are my prices:

> Uncolored Half Body- 5$

(“Half Body” can also refer to busts in this context, hence why it’s a lot cheaper than full body!)

> Uncolored Full Body- 15$

(Most, if not the entire body visible)

> Add Character (Any size) +5$

> Add Color and Pen Outline to the whole drawing +5$

> Complex Design +1$ per complex character

Note 1: Prices are negotiable for certain character designs. Extremely simple designs, like Kirby for instance, can make the price go down because it will take much less time to create.

Note 2: I can do dynamic poses, no extra cost. However, I in particular am not very good at lower angles of a character (ants-eye view as some may put it), so know it may take a lot longer for me to get stuff like that correct.

Note 3: 2 props can be added with no extra cost. If there are 3 or more with at least one prop having a more complex design, add 1$.

Note 4: Unfortunately, I cannot offer complex backgrounds or shading. I need to practice those more before I feel ok with adding them to commissions.

Content Rules!

- I will draw any character! This includes anthros, animals, robots, aliens, etc!

- I will draw original designs if that is what you need! That is to say, if you have vibes, concepts, or even AU alterations to characters that do not have any official design, I am willing to make the design. No extra fee, I love designing things.

- I won’t draw any NSFW/explicit/fxtish/nude art. I don’t feel comfortable doing so.

- I won’t draw any depictions of abuse between characters. This includes emotional abuse.

Payment Rules!

> If you are paying 15$ or less: I will send progress as needed, and once the drawing is finished, I will send a watermarked image before payment. After being paid, I will send the un-watermarked image!

> If you are paying 16$ or more: I request you send about half of the total upfront. This is to ensure I don’t get scammed or ghosted on more complex projects 😔. Afterwards, I will start the drawing. I will send progress as needed, and once the drawing is finished, I will send a watermarked image before full payment. After you send the self half of the payment, I will send the un-watermarked image!

Other Notes?

- Don’t feel shy or embarrassed about any details of what you want. I don’t judge by sources or characters, or anything really as long as you aren’t breaking my content rules. It’s ok if your request is vague, but if you have any clear ideas of what you want in the drawing, please tell me all the details! I wanna do the best I can to create your vision, so any description and references are welcome and appreciated!

- When I send a progress image, which will typically happen when the pencil outline is finished, don’t feel discouraged from asking for any changes. Once again, I want to make your drawing the best I can make it! And I would far rather erase and fix a few details than leave anyone disappointed.

- What happens if I lose motivation for the commission? It’s highly unlikely, but in the event this happens, any money you’ve paid will be fully refunded, and I will let you know as soon as I can that I am unable to complete the drawing.

- What if I am taking a long time to complete something? This is also unlikely, but in this case, please send me a message or two to check in. It could just be that I lost track of time or something. I will not be mad if you check in every day. It’s perfectly understandable to make sure your stuff’s getting done!

- I don’t have slots! This means I can take any amount of commissions from any amount of people! The only reason I may add slots is if I get a very high amount of commissions, though this is probably not going to happen lol.

Context, I just yesterday found out what I owe for my therapy these last few months. I knew I would owe money, I figured they'd be sending it through my medical provider since they recommended me to get therapy in the first place. Nobody called me or texted me, the only email I got was on April 23rd when I've been having these sessions for months. So I've got 400 dollars to pay off or I can longer get the help I need.

I hate to plug my comms again, but they're cheap and I usually get them back quickly so they're a pretty solid deal. I don't have a full sheet so I'll just write the pricing here:

Sketch Bust: 5

Full (lineart and colour) Bust: 10

Sketch Half body (hips and up): 10

Full half body: 15

Sketch fullbody: 15

Full fullbody: 20

Icons (sketched, lined, coloured, and cel shaded): 15

I can do a bundle deal on icons too, 2 icons for 25, 3 for 30. I'm also willing to negotiate depending on budget.

Slots are unlimited, I'm currently stuck doing everything traditionally but I've got a high quality scanner so that shouldn't be a huge problem.

these paws are for sale btw!!! they are made with howl fabrics lovely white beaver fur. the claws and beans are made with fleece and stuffed with polyfill. the paws are fully lined including the finger escapes. paws are puffy but not stuffed so fingers can move more easily. if youre interested in buying them, dm me! right now im thinking of selling them for between 175 and 200 dollars, but im always willing to negotiate on price :3. im also willing to add webbing in between the fingers for an extra 15-20 bucks :D !
