"They can feel however they like, about ShinRa, about the Presidents, Turks, or SOLDIERs. I could care less how they feel. But I will not lie for the sake of delicate sensibilities and claim I did not do my fair share of killing in those wars, nor that the wars were cut and dry absolutely right or wrong.” Sephiroth spoke seemingly calmly, sat up in the lounge chair in their current bedroom, book in hand, as Cloud sat at the foot of their bed, fuming.

“No one’s asking you to sugar-coat, no one would be dumb enough to expect that. But you can be more careful of who you’re talking to, or around! Marlene and Denzel were in earshot, they don’t need to hear that shit, they already understand too much fucked up stuff as it is!”

He looked over his book. “So you want your kids to grow up ignorant?”

“Stop fucking using extremes and have a real talk with me, you ass!”

He shuts his book, setting it aside. “This is a real talk, and those aren’t extremes. They possible realities that I prefer you be aware of for kids you care so much for.”

“They don’t need to be hearing war stories!”

“Should they not learn from mistakes? Shouldn’t all children? Learning from the mistakes of others lessens your own mistakes you’ll end up enduring learning from.” Sephiroth continues.

“Enough!”

“Enough what?”

“Acting like this?”

“What is it, Cloud, realizing the limits to which you can really stomach me...?” Sephiroth suddenly snapped, and with that jab, it was clear how he was seething as well, as it left Cloud glaring, a bit hurt, and silent. Sephiroth’s icy stare stayed upon Cloud’s heated one, until Cloud finally stood.

“...This has nothing to do with that. And you know it. How about you think about in what ways you can stomach me, and what it takes to be with me...huh?” he remarked, and made his way to the bathroom.

The next half hour, Sephiroth sat in silence, just listening to the spray of the shower, thinking over Cloud’s words, the stance he found so foolish, and his own beliefs. He saw no reason to back down. What Cloud was expecting, was for Sephiroth to play down who he was, and what he did; good and bad. And how could he exist in a world that was giving him a new chance at life, if he acts as if his former life never happened? One must stay aware...lest they repeat mistakes.

When Cloud came out, he was dressed down. He turned lights off on his way back to the bed, not looking at Sephiroth as he stopped by the tall lamp by his seat. “Do you still need this for reading...?”

Sephiroth glanced up at Cloud, noticing the down cast face, the annoyance, the hurt, the upset. He just seemed...tired. Sephiroth felt the same. He looked away, and muttered, “No...”

Cloud shut off the light, and climbed into bed, curling into his usual position, however more in a ball than usual. And Sephiroth watched him lying there, noting he was not yet snoring, perhaps too aware of the tension between them that left Sephiroth sitting in the dark doing nothing but thinking in the silence just as he likely was. Sephiroth still felt he had a point. He still felt he’d done the right thing, and Cloud still believed against that.

But Sephiroth would be damned if he let a natural difference of belief and opinion leave them in such a state. He dresses down, having showered before their discussion started, and he climbs into bed as well. He sees how Cloud almost leans back, before stopping himself, and curling in tighter. He tugs the blanket up, to cover them both and free the open space between them. And Sephiroth’s arms wind around Cloud’s waist, over Cloud’s own arms as they curl before his face. He aligns himself behind Cloud, shape curling with him, as he buries his face in blond hair. Cloud is stiff, for only a few minutes, before he grips Sephiroth’s hand, and relaxes into his firm warm, shuddering out the tension. They disagreed, firmly and perhaps a bit passionately. But that couldn’t change one sure fact.

“I love you...Cloud...” Sephiroth mutters against the back of the blonds neck, causing him to shiver faintly, winding their arms together as he hums.

“I love you, too, Sephiroth.”

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Call me Squido! I love to draw and write but I'm also super extraverted and I love interacting with humans so always feel free to chat with me! Aside from drawing and writing, I just love being outside and have a tumblr sideblog dedicated exclusively to nature photos I take. I love mountains, the ocean, the sky, and just about everything else in this beautiful world of ours! If you ever feel like having an internet stranger give you a thousand word rant, ask me why my favorite color is blue and you will not be disappointed!

What got you into creating? what inspires you to keep creating?

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and can't seem to stop, though I take long breaks sometimes I always seem to come back to it again. I try not to have anything in mind when I draw, but to start sketching and let the drawing happen. Sometimes I find that what I'm trying to draw is not what my drawing wants to be (if that makes any sense) and change what I'm making halfway through. It makes drawing a really relaxing and carefree therapeutic experience! Writing is different. I've always enjoyed writing, but I didn't write much and never shared my writing with anyone because I thought it was super pretentious. It wasn't until entering High School and joining the literature club and making a deal with a friend that we'd share our writing with each other that I actually gained any sort of confidence in my ability and sought to improve it. Being in that club and sharing my pieces at the open mics was a really encouraging experience! I invite everyone to share their writing, even if it's with some random internet stranger (I'm open anytime!) if they're unsure of their abilities. A little encouragement goes a long way! Now that I'm on Discord, ao3, and tumblr, I receive so much more feedback than I ever have before! It's been super encouraging! What inspires me most is definitely nature. Even if my ideas aren't directly related to the outdoors, I get my best ideas there. Fandoms are also a great idea generator. The sheer volume of headcanons and prompts is enough to make me dizzy with ideas!

What's your creative process like?

I love sketching. My favorite thing about drawing digitally is that I can sketch as much as I like and never worry about wasting materials! Often times my sketches turn themselves into drawings without permission and other times they stubbornly remain sketches for all eternity. I always dive right in because I have no patience and the idea I started out with generally isn't that great but in the process of pursuing it, it spirals out of control and sometimes the idea gets better and sometimes it gets worse but I just kinda roll with it. Creating is a really chill process for me and while I regularly scream stuff like "I'M DRAWING ON THE WRONG LAYER NONONONONONO" or "NO HECK FRICK SHOOT IT SMUDGED HECK HECK GET THE ERASER QUICK," the creative process is a great way for me to unwind. I'm the same way about writing. I never plan or outline and just kind of roll with things. I mean I generally have the basic jist in mind, but I try to not have a plan so I can keep the story driven by the characters and not force them into acting the way I wanted them to in the outline I made hours or even days ago. Creating is my opportunity to break free so I don't really see what good a plan or outline does me. I'm a pretty spontaneous person!

What kind of mediums do you like to use?

I like to take pictures, but it's not really my main focus. I've been mostly digitally drawing—I use my iPad Pro and Procreate—but lately I've been pencil sketching with just your average everyday mechanical pencil (I'd forgotten how nice the texture of paper was! Clearly I spent too much time drawing on my iPad!). I have these Stabilio chalk pastels I love to pieces, but have also spent a great deal of time with watercolors. Digital is my primary medium currently, though.

Is there a specific scene wrote that you are particularly proud of?

"Sky’s golden scales are glowing with reflected light from the sun while beneath them, the same pulsing blue in her mane runs like a river as her very skin is alive with electricity. The sun’s beginning to dip, fading through the color wheel from yellow to deep orange to scarlet and the world is bathed in watercolor and hue shifted through the rainbow until all that was blue becomes red. This new alien world begins to darken as red fades to deep purple-pink, the clouds catching last vestiges of gold in their pillowy folds, yet Sky continues rippling with lighting, the bright blue flowing like blood through her veins and the gold shimmering in the eerie azure glow. We weave through the winds and zephyrs and I close my eyes and let the breeze caress my hair and when I reopen them, I’m standing back on the ground again in a world long since darkened by night. I place my hand over my beating heart where Sky is still laughing with joy and smile because once you’ve awakened your dragon, you don’t need wings to fly anymore."

Is there someone who inspires you and your writing or art?

Every fanartist and fanfic writer that posts their stuff online is an inspiration to me. Even if their stuff isn't very good—especially if it isn't very good—it's a huge testament to the courage of the creator and their bravery in expressing themself! I sat on fanfic and fanart for years and never shared it and here were kids half my age putting out art that was their first experiment in a new medium and a little shaky but it was still out there and they were still being supported by the community and that really inspired me to reach out and stop lurking in fandom and actually get involved!

is there something that you struggled with that made you grow as a creator?

I feel like everyone has these periods where they were just gaining confidence in their artistic ability but suddenly everything they make is trash and they're not happy with any of it and they feel so down and worthless and "where did all of my hard-earned ability go? Will I ever get it back?" I think this is a pretty common experience and when I find myself there, I find it most helpful to share what I make anyway, even if I hate it, with someone who I know will give it to me straight because they'll point out the deeper problems—the root of the issue—that I hadn't even noticed and I can use that information to grow as an artist. Bad pieces are just as valuable as good ones. There was also a time where I had a lot of trouble developing a style. I did a lot of experimenting and never found anything I liked. What happened is I just kept drawing and whatever popped out eventually evolved into my style. I used to get frustrated that I couldn't draw anything without a reference, but after years and years of using references and drawing some of the same things over and over again, you won't need the references anymore. I mean, they're great and you should always feel free to use them, but over time, you won't need to look up a picture of every little thing you try to doodle.

What got you into writing or art?

My silly twitchy fingers can't ever seem to stop drawing! Same with writing. Words and ideas follow me around, little plot bunnies pestering me until they get written down somewhere. I was greatly inspired by the works of C.S. Lewis in my writing, especially his Cosmic Trilogy. My art style was aided by Hiromu Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist, which was a valuable stepping stone in developing my own style. Other than that, it was my own insatiable desire to MAKE THINGS that spurred me onwards. I don't think I could stop if I tried!

What's your favorite part of the creative process?

After you've got that first paragraph and you've found a flow and you've got a topic and you just GO. I get into the zone and the story starts happening on its own and I'm not an author anymore, I'm just a channel between the world of the piece and the page. That's my favorite. I love watching things take shape. I love shading a sketch for these same reasons. The whole drawing comes together and becomes A Thing and it's the most exciting time to be a creator. Something else inside you has taken over and you're just along for the ride. I have no idea if my experiences are common at all but this is what it's like for me!

What's your least favorite part of the creative process?

EDITING. I HAVE ZERO PATIENCE. THE THING IS DONE. WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING AT IT. CAN I POST IT YET. This leaves me with a lot of holes in what I make and I can't do a very clean, super detailed drawing unless it's for an art class and I'm forced to keep working on it. I have a terrible habit of never proofreading my things!

What's your favorite type of scene to write?

AAH hard question! I love writing description and places where I can really let my inner 19th century romantic be unleashed but I also love a good emotional moment between two characters. Something tense. I like fight scenes, but I try to keep them brief and interesting. Sometimes I find scenes where I have no idea what's going on and I try to avoid that, but it's really hard sometimes.

What's the hardest for you to create?

I have so much trouble with endings. I can generally figure something out, but there's always a moment of panic before the end like "heck I wrote everything I wanted how do I wrap this up????" That's probably a byproduct of me planning nothing XD I sometimes have trouble with characterization and making sure everyone acts the way they actually would. The hardest part is continuing after you have an "oh heck what do I do now" moment that breaks you out of your zone and all of your ideas and plot threads turn invisible or evaporate or go wherever it is they go when you're looking for them.

What's your favorite genre to write?

ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST. Wellll... scratch that. I love something adventure-y and plot driven with a lot of really meaningful character interactions. I've always had trouble putting my writing into genres, but I guess that kind of speaks for itself in a way.

What fandoms do you enjoy creating for?

Linked Universe is the fandom I have created and posted the most for by a LONG SHOT. I found LU shortly after making my tumblr and I joined the Discord shortly thereafter. Since then, it has been nonstop inspiration and creativity for me! I tend to get sucked into one fandom and it consumes me for a few months before I silently drift out of it and never think about it again. LU is the fandom I've been the most active in EVER though—and it's still going—so there's a good chance I'm never getting off this ride.

What's the work you are most proud of?

AAAAAAAAAAH MY BABIES. okay um here's the first and only fanfic I've ever posted anywhere but I'm really happy with: https://sky-squido.tumblr.com/post/618964544219463680/turn-back-time-a-linked-universe-fanfic I have a lot of other pieces kicking about, but they're not fandom so I haven't shared them yet. I probably will after I touch them up a bit.

Do you have any fics inspired by real life stories?

Not really? I don't really know where my ideas come from to be honest!

Turn Back Time was actually live written in the Discord, but entirely unplanned and in the #angst channel! It was just a headcanon but then I started describing it and like 2 hours and 5k words later I'm sitting in the Discord like "what just happened??"

Where do I fit into the SW fandom?

I'm pretty solidly a Sequels fan, but I have a special place in my heart for the Prequels. I'm a fic writer who dabbles mostly in canon universe AUs, what ifs, that sort of stuff. Primarily my fics have Rey with a tendency to focus on the First Order characters and plots.

My Top Faves

A classic Reylo fic from an old friend - Beneath the Facade. It technically has a prologue fic before it in the series, but this piece was the one that I really enjoyed way back in the EARLY days of Reylo.

Where do I fit into the SW fandom?

I‘m in my thirties and an OT fan since birth, because my dad was obsessed with Star Wars and we watched it a lot as kids - they are the go to christmas movies in our family. Even as a very small kid I loved Vader. I didn’t like the ST quite as much when it came out in cinemas but still watched them multiple times. I’m much more fond of them now. But my love for Star Wars really got renewed with the ST. I really liked TFA and TLJ a lot. Not a great fan of TROS though, but to each their own. I recently started watching TCW, if you haven’t go watch it! The Mandalorian is also great and feels more like the OT for me, which I love. Oh, and R1 was awesome, I loved that one! Solo also was good. I think I will be a lifelong fan because it’s such a rich universe and everybody can pick a favorite. I’m also good at ignoring the parts I don’t like, lol. But I‘m mostly exhausted about all the drama on social media, so at the moment I take a bit of a break from social media and only post from time to time. And I’m of the firm believe to ship and let ship and if the art and fics are good, you can also find me enjoying ships outside of Reylo (honestly, some Kylux art out there, woah... and Finnrey is always so tender but Stormpilot has two hot guys in it... and don’t get me started about Finnrose! You probably get the gist)

Where do I fit into the SW fandom?

It all started with the prequels which I fell in love with and even wrote my first fan fic on. (I dragged it from fanfic.net to A03 for my own form of personal torture) I dropped out of star wars until I was in Japan and a close group of friends got me to watch Roque One and play a star wars based table top role playing game, which dumped me back into this fandom hardcore. I fell in love with the sequel trilogy and now I'm stuck forever. Lol

I have been writing on A03 for around 2 years now for star wars and it's been the most productive and progressive work I've ever done thanks to ya'll.

Also, hey, I created this multishippers discord, because multishipping rocks and everyone should do it. :P I know I've never active enough but I love this space and the people in it! My fav part about multishipping is how I'm always discovering yet another ship that is awesome. It never ends. ^^

fresh water: which pokémon would be your main partner (starter or not)?

The biggest, roundest Raichu the world has ever seen! He used to ride on my shoulder as a Pikachu but now he’s a bit big for that, so I give him piggybacks instead! 

rare candy: would you travel alone or with other trainers?

Ideally, a bit of both. I love the idea of having a bunch of human friends to journey with and support each other, but sometimes I just need my own space, so I’d be just as content going off with my pokemon and meeting up with people occasionally in different towns. Cause after all, you’re never alone when you have pokemon with you! 

soda pop: how would you spend your money?

I’d probably do what I do in the games and buy healing items in bulk, even those you don’t think you’ll need super often, cause it’s always better safe than sorry! Otherwise, probably a good chunk would go on food and on pampering my pokemon with fancy treats and ribbons and things ^_^

lumiose galette: what would you wear on your journey?

I want to be comfy, so it wouldn’t be the most elaborate, but I still think it’d look cool. High waisted jeans, a black tank top, either a green or yellow jacket covered in a heap of pins and patches. Good sturdy boots. Though a part of me wants to get myself a big pair of chunky heels so I can be Tall and Fancy ^_^ Maybe I’ll carry those as backup shoes! Big satchel to hold everything with a couple of charms hanging off it! A Z Ring and Keystone (I’d wear it as a necklace)

lemonade: what would your battling style/strategy be?

My main battling team are all electric types, and I run double battles with them! A surprising amount of electric pokemon can lean Rain Dance, so combine that with Electric Terrain, then you’ve got a speed boost for certain pokemon, nobody can fall asleep, electric moves get a boost and Thunder has 100% accuracy! On top of that, some of my pokemon have the Volt Absorb ability, so field sweeping moves like Discharge actually benefit them to be hit by! 

casteliacone: where in the pokémon world would you go for vacation?

I’d love to explore the Orange Islands!! Otherwise, I feel like Kalos would be a really lovely place to take a holiday! Also Fula City!! It looks so lively and bright!!

moomoo milk: how often would you visit home?

I’d probably try and go home every few months or so, depending on where I was travelling at the time, though I’d most likely only stay for a few days at a time before hitting the road again~

lava cookie: what would be your most-used key item?

Excluding Z Rings/Mega Stones here, and considering I can’t ride a bike to save my life, probably the Berry Blender and Pokeblock Case honestly! I love to spoil my pokemon and while Coordinating isn’t my primary focus, it’s definitely something I do and enjoy~ 

berry juice: what would you pack with you on your journey?

Pillow, blanket, first-aid kit, matches or a lighter,  big water bottle, one of those tiny picnic sets where you get a plate/bowl/cutlery, notebook and a handful of pens, phone and charger, needle and thread, polaroid camera, bag of toiletries and a few spare clothes (I’d wash them in rivers or at local coin laundromats), pokeblock case (I’d use the public berry blenders cause I imagine those things are heavy!!), headphones, a giant mixed pile of healing items and there’d always be handfuls of loose change, dried berries, trail mix and candy at the bottom of my bag!!… I feel like I’m forgetting stuff, but I should draw one of those “What’s in your bag?” things for this

old gateau: which city/region would you choose to live in?

Johto!!! Specifically, Olivine City!! I’ve always been in love with the place, and I think it would a wonderful spot to live! Alternatively, Lilycove City in Hoenn is also wonderful~

tea: when you’re not battling/coordinating, how would you spend your time?

I’m a breeder!! I breed Pichu and make sure I find good homes for all of them! Otherwise, I go traveling around the coastlines, swim with my Vaporeon and surf with some of my Pikachu who know how! We just take a week or two to camp out on/near a beach far from home and relax, collecting shells and taking photos of Wingull. It’s always a good, chill time ^_^

ragecandybar: who would be your rival? tag them!

As a league challenger, my rival is 100% @petticoat-swashbuckler​!! We’ve legitimately had IRL conversations about pokemon where we sounded like arguing anime characters! We have very different ideas about how to raise pokemon, which means we tend to butt heads a fair bit, but she’s a strong and confident trainer who I really respect, our differences aside, because I know she really does love her pokemon and I always enjoy our battles, even if our paths don’t cross too often out on the trail~

In the coordinating circuit, @musashi​ is my rival!! We’ve come head to head a few times now and while I’ve won a few ribbons, none of them have been from beating her. One day I will though! She inspires and encourages me to push myself as a coordinator and I always look forward to seeing her in the contest hall~

poké puffs: what would your favorite traveling snack be?

Trail mix is good!! Anything I can spend a long time chewing on is also a favourite, so stuff like jerky or dried fruit are definitely a go-to~

honey: how would you pamper your pokémon?

Lots of pokeblock! Poffins and pokepuffs too when I can get my hands on those. I’d take them to specialist groomers as often as I had the money, and we’d take trips to carnivals and fairs whenever we got the chance, were I’d buy them all the treats they wanted and take them on as many rides as would allow them on. Fancy little ribbons and costumes for those who like dressing up, lots of trips to the beach!! They’d all be so loved and spoiled! 

aprijuice: what would be your preferred method of travel?

As I said before, I can’t ride a bike to save my life, so a lot of the journey would be on foot, or flying on my Pidgeot if I had really big distances to cover and limited time to do it. 

sweet heart: would you be a league challenger or coordinator?

Both, though I’m a battler at heart~ I’d try and dedicate and equal amount of time to both, though if I ended up missing a contest season for one reason or another, it wouldn’t be the end of the world for me - there’s always next time and it means I can redirect my energy into working on battle strategies rather than appeals

poffin: would you sleep on the trail, in a hotel, or in the Pokémon Center lobby?

So long as I have something decent under my back, I can sleep anywhere, though I’d definitely prefer being indoors when I can. Hotels would probably be a luxury I’d save for traveling for contests, so Pokemon Center lobbies for sure! They always seem really cosy and inviting anyhow~

berry: what would your trainer class be?

Ideally, I’d become a gym leader!! Though other than that, probably Ace Trainer!!

RWBY Speculation: Will Ruby Be Captured in this Volume (or in a Later Volume)? *UPDATED*

So, I’m not a theorist in any way, shape or form, but I really felt like I had to get this off my chest because literally NO ONE has seemed to mention anything about Salem’s intentions for Ruby. So I brought it upon myself to put together this post for ya’ll. You’re welcome. (I think.)

DISCLAIMER: This post is mostly speculation, and not everything is held up by evidence. Some inspiration/speculation for this post came from some of @calxiyn‘s videos.

With Volume 5 now in full swing, fans will be piecing together theories 24/7. But, one theory that I haven’t ever seen talked about is the fact that Salem has plans for our favorite Silver-Eyed warrior (SEW), yet we don’t know what exactly what these plans are. I’ve watched countless theory, reaction, and analysis videos, and read pretty much every speculation thread I can, yet no one has seemed to mention anything about Ruby possibly being taken off to Salem’s castle (is it a castle? I’m calling it a castle.) in the near future, whether it’s in this Volume or a later one.  Of course, there ARE going to be 14 episodes this season, so anything’s possible, I guess… 

Anyways, seeing how things are currently going for Ruby and the gang, we can safely assume that she could very likely be captured this Volume, most likely by someone other than Tyrian since he already failed in retrieving her once.

Even in the last moments of the V5 intro, as RWBY is running towards Salem, Ruby looks a little bit afraid of her, while the rest of her teams just looks determined. Of course, the intro should be taken with a grain of salt, since several things from the last intros never made it into the show (like Weiss vs. Emerald in V2 and V3).

So, I’m basically going to present 4 different scenarios of what could go down once Ruby is taken to Salem’s castle. 

Scenario #1: Cinder will attempt to kill Ruby.

We’re all too familiar with the infamous scene in the Volume 3 finale. Upon seeing Pyrrha’s tragic death, Ruby activates the power of her Silver Eyes in sorrow, unleashing it onto Cinder and Kevin the Dragon.

Then, in the Volume 4 premiere, we see that a now severely debilitated Cinder is itching to get revenge against Ruby, even expressing intense anger towards the other members of Salem’s faction whenever they poke fun at her misfortune. 

Later, in the finale of Volume 4, we see that Cinder’s hatred for the protagonist hasn’t faded one bit. Emerald creates a hallucination of Ruby for Cinder to practice using her Maiden powers on. Even Salem herself watches this, and appears to express some satisfaction in the brutal murder of the vision (though it could be that she’s simple pleased with Cinder’s progress). 

Now, in this scenario, I believe that Ruby will be brought to Salem’s castle (obviously), and thrown into a battle against Cinder. Cinder will go on full-on Fall Maiden (aka “Avatar State”), while Ruby will use the full(?) extent of the SEW powers.

Because of each character’s desire to seek vengeance on the other, this scenario can make a lot of sense. But before we come to any conclusions, let’s take a look at some other probable situation that could explain Salem’s intentions.

Scenario #2: Salem will somehow steal Ruby’s powers.

Now, I know what ya’ll may be thinking:

“Marii, now you’ve REALLY gone crazy! There’s no evidence for this!”

I hear you, comment section. Just let me state my case. Besides, this is all just speculation, so chill out. XD

If you’ve ever seen any theories about Salem, you may know of one that suggests that Salem was once a SEW herself (according to her supposedly having Silver Eyes in the concept art she was seen in).

In this speculation, Salem somehow became corrupted and turned into the evil ruler of the Creatures of Grimm we all know today. It is also theorized that she gained the power to “absorb” or even “steal” the SEW abilities from other Warriors. Some even believe that this is what could have happened to Summer Rose. Perhaps this is what Ruby’s fate could’ve lead to if she wasn’t the main protagonist.

It seems very unlikely, but it’s still a plausible outcome.

Scenario #3: Salem will possess Ruby in order to gain her powers.

This one is pretty similar to the previous scenario, but instead of Salem simply taking Ruby’s powers, she could possibly just straight-up possess her, or absorb her soul in some way.

Much like the last situation, there are many theories about Salem possibly being a former SEW. Some of these theories state that Salem could have the ability to absorb the souls of other SEW’s, or even just possess them. This could also possibly explain Summer Rose’s fate.

If you look at one of Salem’s hands, you can see a ring or bracelet resembling a beetle of some sort. This might be just the thing that Salem could use the possess other SEW’s, much like the glove (which might I add also had a beetle in it) that Cinder used to steal the Fall Maiden powers from Amber in V3.

But, of course, we won’t know until more information is revealed about this mysterious villain before we can come to a conclusion like this.

Scenario #4: Salem will manipulate Ruby, and turn her over to their side.

Now, this is the scenario that I’m most on board with. It also seems the most probable to actually happen.

If you recall the World of Remnant episode about the huntsman and huntresses, the final seconds of the video could very well be foreshadowing this exact situation…

Ozpin, the narrator of the V2 WoR episodes, says this: “…all are expected to serve humanity, and never succumb to the darkness.”

As he states this, a silhouette of Ruby in front of the moon is shown on screen. This moment here has to be foreshadowing if I’ve ever seen it. After all, why would RUBY of all people be shown during a statement like this? Seems a little fishy to me… :/

What I predict could happen, is that when Ruby is taken to Salem’s castle, Salem will “push her buttons” and manipulate her into joining Salem, forcing the girl to use her SEW abilities against the rest of our heroes.

In the V4 director commentary (which I had the privilege of seeing during V5 premiere in theatres), Kerry himself talks about Salem being really good at getting others to do her bidding, and she does so by hitting a the “weak spots,” so to speak. For example, she can easily manipulate Tyrian by using his obsession with pleasing her, and she only has to tell him that she’s disappointed in him to set him off, and he’ll punish himself and make sure he doesn’t fail her again.

With this information, we can predict that Salem will use this same tactic on Ruby in order to get her to “succumb to the darkness,” as the WoR episode states.

So far, I can definitely say that this one is my favorite. It has a lot more evidence to back it up than the others do, as well.

If/When Ruby is captured, what will it mean for the others?

Now that I’ve gone through the different scenarios of what could happen to our protagonist, let’s talk about what  Ruby’s capture will mean for the rest of our heroes.

To start out with, Ruby could very well be the only one who’s able to stop Salem, for all we know. And if Ruby’s gone, Salem wins. So, if (or when) Ruby gets taken away, the rest of the crew will HAVE to go after her, no matter what. Even if it means losing a few battles along the way (like the Fall of Haven?). If their only hope of saving the world disappears, then Remnant is royally screwed. (Now, obviously she won’t die or join Salem’s side permanently, because she’s the main character, but that doesn’t mean she’s necessarily invincible, either.)

What will be most interesting to see, however, is how everyone copes with Ruby’s kidnapping. Surely they’d all be sad or angry. Some might even hit a breaking point. However, Miles and Kerry might have other ideas in store for us…either way, it’ll be really interesting to see how our main cast deals with this tragedy, and how they plan to get their friend back (seriously tho i rlly wanna see them all unit and rescue Ruby as a team; make it happen, RT!)

More Evidence *SPOILERS FOR V5C2*

Also, I think Chapter 2 hinted at Ruby’s capture.

Whenever Cinder asks Salem about keeping Ruby alive, Salem says this:

“Never underestimate the usefulness of others. Take Leonardo; he was one of Ozpin’s most trusted, and yet, now…”

“…If Ruby Rose has learned to harness her gift, then you must take care to protect yours.”

Not only is it interesting that Salem says Ruby’s name (though she probably just got it from Cinder), but she also talked about how Lionheart was turned against Ozpin. Sure, she may just be referring to using the bandits to get the Spring Maiden, but I’m pretty sure she means that she’s going to use Ruby against the rest of our heroes. (also I want to know what she meant by Cinder protecting her Maiden powers; maybe it’s the same reason why Cinder got messed up by Ruby?)

Also, the RWBY banner for the RT Site depicts Team RWBY, but the background is of the Grimmscape. I may be looking too far into this, but if Ruby DOES in fact get taken off the Salem, really the only place she’d be is IN the Grimmscape, right?

Now, do I WANT any of these to happen? Well, yes and no. Yes, because it means we’d get some much-needed development for several characters. No, because each scenario involves hurting my favorite character (and all the others, too), which hurts my heart. T-T

“You Win or You Die” - M/M Game of Thrones/ASoIaF RP (email, 18+)

As well, what if the whole ‘vampire/werewolf rivalry’ doesn’t exist? Simply because I’d like to focus on the one main pairing (but wouldn’t mind having Jacob in as, like...a best friend? Actually giving him a personality outside of ‘romanceable person B’? Anyway, I’d just like to toy around with things and see what might come of it! Pairing Edward/male!Bella ~~~~~ Rules: Being 30, I can and do write smut. As such, I will only write with you if you're 20+. I'm sorry, it has nothing to do with talent or ability; it's simply a matter of comfort on my end. I'm also not into PWP/Smut for smut's sake. I like my sexy times to come up naturally in the narrative and help to move a story along. However! I am just as happy getting an R+ scene going and letting it fade naturally, if it's something we're both rather more comfortable with. I find that smut is not always necessary to make a good story. Similarly, I am looking for a partner that's mostly-literate (few spelling errors outside of typos, decent comprehension of the English language, some fair amount of detail in replies; something to work with). I myself have been writing and role-playing for 15+ years. My personal style is third-person paragraph-format (with a preference for past-tense, though I can do present-tense, if we decide together that it works better), and fairly detailed at that - especially when my inspiration is up. I like to explore my characters and their motivations just as much as the scene around them and the actions that they are responding to. I can write multiple paragraphs per post, but will happily match you, as well, depending on how the flow goes. However, I would ask that, at a minimum, you write one paragraph. Ideally 2-4 per post, but more is always welcome, and less is understandable. I know that dialogue-heavy scenes can be sporadic and choppy, and that muses don't always cooperate. That's perfectly fine! I just need something to reply to, and in return will give you the same! I try to reply at least once a day, but this can shift to several times a week, depending, as I do have a job, and my availability can fluctuate depending on how busy I am and how fickle my muse is. I freely admit this, and let you know that there is absolutely no pressure. I am a very chill person. If we can only get several posts per week on both ends, that's completely cool! We all have lives. More often than not, it will be at least once a day, even if it's just checking in and chatting through OOC just to work on plot or to chat about our day! I am looking for someone who enjoys plotting and chatting and who's not afraid to toss ideas back and forth - but, as well, who understands if one of us won't be around for a day or so. Viidog Code Event Story - ホラーハウス・パニック / Horror House . Panic

It’s a new month and I realised I haven’t post my monthly Viidog Code story yet for the last month... so here is it~! This story happens in the summer, which maybe abit late now considering we’re approaching Autumn, but it’s alright~ Let’s get chilling with a haunted theme story~! It’s great to write about light and funny stories (though abit creepy) after the difficult and complex storyline in the main story ^^

As always, the summary of the story can be found below. Translation may not be 100% accurate due to my poor Japanese skills~

Chapter 1: 異人館街の幽霊屋敷 / The Haunted House at The Strange Street

One day, Shiro found “me” at the database room and realised that “I’m” reading up on a search report from our last case. “I” told him that “I’m” revising to learn more about detective work, but Shiro asked “me” to return him his reflection report since “I” have no need to read them. (It just sound to me that he’s embarrassed though ^^;)

Since “I” want to work so much, Shiro asked “me to head to the office with him, as it seems that Kuki had gotten himself involved in yet another case. Shiro didn’t know what case it was as he was also just being called down to the detective agency, and was also requested that he find “me” and bring “me” along to the office.

(Just want to say... Shiro looks good in summer wear~ ^///^ Hoodie~ >////<)

We headed to the office to find that Tsubasa and Kuki were already there. Kuki was glad that Shiro had managed to find “me” and brought “me” here, since he was worried that he won’t be able to do it. Shiro rebutted at him that Kuki is just treating him as a slave XD 

With everyone in Class 7 gathered together, Kuki told Shu and Senri to start off the meeting to inform them the new case that they’ll be working on. Senri briefed us that someone had sent in a request to the agency to investigate a haunted house. Both Tsubasa and “me” showed a shock reaction, and Shiro told us that we’re overreacting. Tsubasa answered that it’s normal to be shocked about a haunted house, to which Kuki happily replied that he had taken on this case just because he wanted to see our reactions to it. 

Senri continued on talking about the case, saying that this request was sent in by people who had lived around the haunted house. Even though currently there isn’t anyone living in that house at the moment, the neighbors had heard some eerie sound and voices from it, and thus wished to get someone to investigate it. Tsubasa wondered whether it was called as “the haunted house” due to the eerie sound and voices, but the main reason was because the owner of the house had passed away, thus making it an empty residence currently. 

Rui joined us and informed that other than the person who had sent in the request, multiple people around the neighbourhood had also seen some shadows that moved and voices in the haunted house, and was sure that there must be “something” in that house. Thinking that since this was a haunted house we’re investigating anyway, Kuki announced that Class 7 shall also help to get rid of the ghosts as an add-on to the case. (Erm... how exactly are you going to do that, Kuki?)

Tsubasa, on the other hand, wanted to make friends with the ghost, as long as it is not an evil ghost, which Kuki agreed with him and even proposed bringing it back to the agency to make the agency a “unique” agency.... ^^; (It’s meant to be a joke and ”I” just smiled weakly along with them like “I’m” forced to ^^; Even Senri dissed Kuki about it that Kuki felt that Senri was just adding salt to his wound.)

Shu finished off the briefing by telling Kuki that he hoped that he doesn’t cause any unfortunate incident in this investigation. In summary, the case this time was to investigate a haunted house, and Kuki told us that it’s going to be a very fun case. Shiro denied and remarked that it sounds like it’s going to be a very boring case, but Tsubasa told him that it’s actually rare that they might meet a ghost actually. (Tsubsa sounds very excited ^^;) 

Shiro claimed that he doesn’t believe in ghost and deemed the case to be cause by some children’s mischief definitely, but Kuki thinks otherwise and felt that Shiro actually believe in ghosts even if he claimed that he doesn’t. (i guess he already knew that Shiro was actually quite afraid of ghosts.) Shiro said that he’s not going to investigate the haunted house, and told the rest of us to investigate instead before he left the room. In the end, it was decided that we shall just take a look at the haunted house tonight, (the official operation shall start tomorrow) as Kuki told us to gather in the living room at night time.

However, at night time, Shiro was pulled to join us in the investigation as much he rejected to join. He ultimately conceded to investigate the haunted house, but stated that he would investigate it alone and told us not to follow him along. Kuki was surprised with Shiro’s change in attitude and asked him whether he secretly wanted to meet the ghost very much. 

Kuki asked Shiro to bring “me” along with him for the investigation, to which Shiro denied and said once again that he had planned on heading there alone and that it would be hard to escape from the place if he had to bring “me” along if anything were to happen. However, Kuki stated that as the class leader he would not allow anyone to perform an investigation by himself and even offered that he shall follow Shiro himself if he doesn’t like “me” to go along with him. In the end, Shiro agreed to bring “me” along to investigate the haunted house, and Kuki told us to be careful while he sent us off.

Chapter 2: 開かない扉 / The Door That Can’t Be Opened

After we had head off, Tsubasa worried for “me” as he’s afraid that Shiro might leave “me” unattended, but Kuki was being very positive, suggesting that perhaps we might even ended up being friends with the ghost and bring it back here. Tsubasa noticed that Kuki still seems hung up about his joke regarding the ghost just now, but Kuki just answered him not to open his old wounds instead XDD

The two started talking about ghosts, where Tsubasa said that he’s actually looking forward to meeting one since he had never met one before, and asked Kuki whether he believe in ghosts. As Kuki was one who would only believe in something if he had seen it, he found ghosts to be very unrealistic since he had never seen one. He assured Tsubasa that we’ll be alright since unlike his appearance, Shiro was actually someone who would take good care others, and thought that he’s actually quite suitable in training and teaching newbies ^^ (Shiro Sensei? XD) He also remarked that Tsubasa was suitable too since he’s someone who could have a good relationship with anyone, to which Tsubasa commented that he’s the latest newbie in the agency (before “me”), and thus he understood the feeling of being a newbie the most in all of the members in the agency. (So I guess Shiro entered the agency earlier than Tsubasa~)

In the meanwhile, Shiro and “I” had arrived at the street where the haunted house was located. As there were many empty houses nearby, Shiro told “me” that there’s nothing much to look at even if “I” was looking around at the area. The place we’re at was pretty dark, that Shiro complained that it’s hard to go around the streets at night. Thankfully he had brought along a torch light and told “me” that we’re just going to quickly investigate this place and head back to the agency. (Shiro seems that he just wanted to get it over and done with it =w=“) He told “me” to be careful since anything could fly out at us when we’re inside the building, and to also refrain from making a loud noise too. 

When we entered the house though, the doors just shut behind us suddenly.... or what Shiro had thought so, since “I” was the one who had shut the doors actually, and Shiro told “me” to do it more quietly. (Since I guess it gave him a scare when he heard the doors closed that loudly ^^; But he claimed that he’s not scared but just abit shocked by the closing of the doors...) Shiro got yet another scare again when he walked straight into a spider web, but felt that they seems to be some mischief done by a child, and told “me” to be careful not to trip over anything. (Though he claimed that he’s not worried for “me”, just that he would found it troublesome if “I” had fallen.. ^^;)

“I” was scared when “I” saw an arm hanging in the mid air, but Shiro investigated and realised that it was just a mannequin’s arm being hung up by some red threads. We walked down the long corridor, and didn’t opened any of the doors since the door knobs were untouched over the years. Finally, at the end of the corridor was another door, which was locked and since the knob looks clean, Shiro guessed that perhaps there was something behind that door. (The door knob being clean was an evidence that someone actually opened the door recently +W+) 

Shiro was glad that as it meant that it wasn’t the work of a ghost that had made this place haunted, as ghosts would be able to go through doors without even opening it. He guessed that perhaps the person who had cause these eerie happenings was behind that door and decided to keep a look out at the door to see if anyone would come out from the room. In the end, we decided to hide in a room next to the corridor which offers a view that we can keep a look out at the door. Shiro was sure that he would catch the “ghost” and reveal his real identity, blaming that ghost that it was because of it that he had to do such a job right now. 

Just then, we heard the sound of doors opening, but Shiro guessed that it was just the wind that had opened the doors and he didn’t sense the presence of any humans either, claiming that it’s definitely not ghosts who had made the doors to open. We waited for awhile, but it doesn’t seems that anybody was going to open the door and come out from the room, Shiro decided that we shall head back for tonight and write our report instead.

However, suddenly there was the sound of the door from the entrance closing, along with the sound of it locking! Shiro started to get worried that we might get locked into the house, and thus hurried “me” to run along with him back to the entrance. Just as what he had expected, the door to the entrance was locked when we arrived there...

Chapter 3: 超自然的なもの? / The Supernatural?

Even though the door looks old, it was actually strong, and Shiro guessed that it would be hard to break it down in order to escape from the house (besides he doesn’t want to destroy the house actually). He was pissed that “I” was in the mood to laugh and confirmed once again that regardless what Kuki had said, Shiro himself wasn’t scared of ghosts AT ALL, and claimed that he had no interests in such area either. (okay... if you say so... =w=“)

However, the thing was... it wasn’t “me” who was laughing. Shiro thought that “I” had used ventriloquism, but since obviously “I” do not have such a skill, Shiro guessed that it may be coming from the person who had locked us in this house. It started to get spookier when the plates started to move by themselves, and Shiro, feeling unable to stay in this house anymore, quickly asked “me” to get away from the door as he broke down the door. As he left the place with “me”, Shiro bellowed back at the “ghost” that he’s not leaving because he’s scared, he’s going back to think of a plan and would be coming back to defeat it next time XD

We ran for a long while after we’ve escaped from the haunted house, and finally stopped at somewhere along the street, which Shiro commented that the ghost won’t be coming out from the house to chase after us since we’re now quite far away from it. He warned “me” not to mention anything about him facing the ghost to Kuki and Tsubasa. 

Back at the agency, Kuki and Tsubasa were still continuing their conversations about the ghost, where Kuki asked Tsubasa what games he would want to play with the ghost if he had befriend it, and even suggested playing a test of courage with it. But Tsubasa felt that it would be very boring since the ghost would be the one in charge of scaring people instead like usual, and suggested hide and seek instead. Kuki felt that hide and seek would be hard since the ghost would have an advantage since it could hide in places that are hard to find for them.

Suddently, Kuki got a shock when he realised that both Shiro and “I” had returned from our investigation. Noticing that our faces looked green, Kuki asked us what had happened over at the haunted house. Shiro answered that we’re fine, but he’s sure that there’s something at that house, and that he had felt digusted that something was getting close to him even though he could not see what was it.

Even though Kuki was worried about it, he decided to give it a rest for now and told Tsubasa that he can be happy now that it seems like there’s really a ghost over there ^^; Kuki asked Shiro that whether he had heard any sound of the water in the house, since he had read that in the report which was passed to him by Senri. Shiro remarked that he indeed heard something that resembles the sound of water, and thus Kuki decided that they should investigate more about the house.

Tsubasa was too excited and wanted to go straight away though XD Kuki had to tell him that it was too late and that they would go there tomorrow instead.

(Shiro was too tired from the investigation today that he had fallen asleep while sitting on the sofa~ Aww~ So cute~ ^////^)

Taking out a map, Kuki asked “me” whether it was the same as the layout of the house since “I’ve” went inside it. “I” reported to him that the map actually showed rooms that we had not seen at the house and that made Kuki quite interested about it...

Chapter 4: 1班の推察 / The Investigations by Class 1

The next morning, Shu was quite happy to receive a new case, as it was case that was requested by their own species - Kenrouzoku. Shu was glad that they finally had a chance to help out their comrades, and that made Senri happy for him too, and guessed that the other “Kenrouzoku” who had lived in the town must have seen Shu as someone reliable to request him for help.

Shu decided that this new case from Kenrouzoku would be handled by Class 7 and told “me” (who was there) that this would be my first time in handling a case by “Kenrouzoku”, and thus thought that it would be a learning experience for “me”. However, Senri mentioned that Class 7 was working on the case regarding the haunted house currently, and the two of them started talking about that case instead.

Shiro had not handed in his report for yesterday night, to which Shu thought that he’s facing difficulty in writing it since writing report was always not Shiro’s forte. Senri explained that it seems that quite alot happened during the investigation yesterday that Shiro was burned out when he had returned. He made a guess that perhaps we had really met a ghost over there, but Shu started to get really worried about Shiro and mentioned that perhaps he would pay a visit to him later on. (Shu was actually really nice to his comrades and cares about them~ +////+)

Rui entered the room and told them that he had compiled the reports from Class 7′s investigation at the haunted house yesterday, and from the reports... it seems that the two of us had been in contact with the “other party”. We’ve heard the weird laughter and the sound of water just like what was written by the person who had requested this case to be investigated, however, we could not know what had cause those sound to happen. The laughter was determined to be coming from a young male who was in his 10s-20s, and there’s still information lacking to know what had been making the sound of the water. Rui also reported that in the midst of our investigation, we were locked up in the house and got into trouble over there. Sensing that there might be further danger, Shiro broke through the door and we escaped from there. The culprit had not shown himself throughout the investigation and had not chased after us after we had escaped from the house.

Rui guessed that even though there’s a possibility that the sound of the laughter and water could be caused by supernatural, he thought that there’s a higher possibility that they were made by a person. It was also found that there were traces of a room being used by someone in the house, and thus Rui guessed that someone must have layed these “traps” to trigger those sound. Shu then deduced that other than the owner of the house, it seems that somebody else also had a key to the haunted house.

Continuing on his report, Rui mentioned that even for someone who was alert like Shiro didn’t sense any presence of a human, and though this also meant that even though the “other party” had no evil intentions in dealing with us, these “traps” in the house also meant that the “other party” doesn’t want anybody to bother him/her/it. 

Shu decided that we shall put the case of the haunted house on hold first and work on this new case instead.

Chapter 5: 雛守と都市伝説 / Hinamori and the City Legends 

At night, Class 7 had gathered in the living room. Kuki talked about the seven mysteries in D.O.G agency, with Tsubasa commenting that the city legends told by Kuki were really interesting that it had gotten him into “occult mode”, since it was regarding werewolves and thus Kuki remarked that as “Kenrouzoku” themselves, they’re definitely very interested in such topics. 

However, Tsubasa noticed that “I” hardly spoke anything throughout the night, and wondered that perhaps “I” had felt bored by them chatting. Back to the case regarding the haunted house, Kuki decided to tidy the information they’ve gathered so far, and head to the house again tomorrow for more investigation. He noticed that Shiro doesn’t seems very enthusiastic to which Shiro denied it, since he wanted to catch the culprit whom had locked us in the house. 

Just then, Hinamori appeared, as he had heard about the word “city legends” and was really interested about it. Tsubasa told him that the old man from the “Kenrouzoku” who had requested our help today had told us alot of interesting city legends after we’ve finished their case for the day. One of the city legends was regarding werewolves, which Hinamori had heard of it before and mentioned that he really like it due to how bloody it was. Kuki was scared by it though Hinamori likes that it was scary since he was a huge fan of the horror genre. He likes the feeling of being scared and thus the werewolves legend was one that he would not forget about it.

Since Hinamori was a fan of horror, Tsubasa asked him whether he had heard about the “haunted house”. Seeing that all of us were really interested in the haunted house, Hinamori decided to reveal to us what he had knew about it... He mentioned that there would always be gossips about this house at this period of time usually, but after a period of time people would forget about it and thought that those gossips were just being made up in the end. However, even though it was just a gossip, Tsubasa felt that this had been going for quite a long while, as it had been a month that the house was being rumored as a haunted house and this time, there seems to be more witness than as per usual. Hinamori felt that perhaps it had escalate past the level of a child’s mischief and may become a real legend in the end...

(Tsubasa got even more excited about heading there after listening to what Hinamori had said though XD)

Chapter 6: 7班始動前夜 / The Eve Before Class 7′s Operations

Shiro wanted to go to the haunted house by himself again, and got nagged by Kuki that the last time he went there, he had slept straight away after returning and skipped out on writing his report ^^; Kuki felt that Shiro had just went around the house once and didn’t delve into anything much before returning the last time, though he guessed that there must be a reason why Shiro had done that. 

He agreed to let Shiro head to the haunted house by himself though, but on one condition, this time he had carry a video camera on himself so that the rest of Class 7 could monitor what had happened in the haunted house, and could also relay information to him. Shiro rejected that idea, to which Kuki felt that it wasnt’ a ridiculous request since they’ve always put on a camera on each other during investigation. He started talking about how Shiro had to lit up a little light to brighten up the room when he’s asleep, and also seems to have taken the salt from the kitchen... (He’s trying to hint that Shiro was actually afraid of the dark and ghosts, that he had to get salt from the kitchen to ward them off ^^;)

Since Shio doesn’t agree to the condition Kuki had set and thus unable to head to the haunted house by himself, Kuki told him to just give up and let all 4 of them to head to the haunted house and investigate together. He remarked that it was the basics in detective work that more people investigating would get a better result than just one sole person investigating. He wondered perhaps than being concerned in the investigation, Shiro was more concerned in his own pride and even guessed that perhaps the person who was here wasn’t even Shiro at all.

Tsubasa was very excited about investigating, and told Shiro that he would try his best, and even if he failed, the others would be around to aid him. Since everyone insisted on tagging along, Shiro had no choice but to concede to them ^^;

Tsubasa was curious in why Shiro had denied to put on a camera when he’s heading to the haunted house by himself, but guessed that perhaps Shiro had felt that he doesn’t look good on camera and complimented that he’s good-looking actually~~ XDD

It was decided that we shall head to the haunted house the next day instead, and thus Kuki asked us to rest up well, and not to stay up later tonight. He also told us to prepare for the investigation, and Tsubasa asked whether the ghost would be able to eat some candies, since he wanted to bring some as a present XDD (This guy... is so adorable >////<) Kuki smiled weakly and guessed that it might be impossible for them to eat, so Tsubasa wondered that pehaps he sould bring something inedible instead.

Chapter 7: 謎のベールに包まれた屋敷 / The House That Was Surrounded By Mysterious Veil

Shu was drinking tea at the office when he realised that the taste of tea has changed. He initially thought that Rui had used a different set of tea leaves, but Rui guessed that perhaps his way of preparing tea was different to how Senri does it usually, and that changes the taste of the tea in the end. 

The two started talking about their research about the haunted house, which they’ve found out that it was a building that was a hundred years old. This was out of Shu’s expectation, and he remarked that doing research on this house made him feel like they’re archaeologist. Just then, Senri came into the room and showed them something that he had found in his research just now. It was a document regarding the ownership of the house, where the last remaining owner of the house had not transferred his ownership to anyone before he passed away. As it had been a long period of time since he had passed away. there isn’t much information that they could find out about the him. There isn’t anybody around the town who knew him, and there’s no lead in finding who might have inherit the house either. 

Rui mentioned that this was around the time when Class 7 was heading towards the haunted house for an investigation once again, and prayed that nothing would happen to them when they were there.

As Class 7 and “I” were nearing the haunted house, Tsubasa asked “me” whether “I’ll” feel afraid of the place. However, “I” wasn’t really afraid as “I’ve” been to the house before once. Nearing the entrance, Kuki spotted the door which was broken down by Shiro, as the part where the door knob had spoiled could be seen clearly.

Heading into the house, Kuki remarked that it felt chilly in here. Tsubasa also noticed that there were some spider webs around, which Kuki remarked that it wasn’t that extraordinary since the house had been really old and untouched for years. Wanting to give a thorough investigation of the house tonight, Kuki started giving out instructions to the members. As there were three routes which they had yet to explore in the house, Kuki proposed that we split into three different teams, with Kuki himself investigating the middle route. Tsubasa would investigate the route on the left, and Shiro would take the route on the right.

However, once investigation starts, Shiro noticed that Kuki was following him and asked him wasn’t he the one who told them to split up and investigate the house. But Kuki mentioned that he had realised that there seems to more rooms that were showed in the floor plan of the house than what they could see in the house, and made a guess that perhaps there’s some hidden rooms in this house. He wondered whether they should all split up and look for the hidden rooms, or stay and wait for the eerie scenarios that we had encountered the last time to take place. 

Kuki started teasing about Shiro that he had headed back halfway through the investigation, hinting him that he’s a scaredy cat. This pissed off Shiro that he ended up destroying the walls of the house... and exposed a secret corridor that way OWO Turns out that Kuki had actually deduced that there’s another path behind the walls and purposely angered Shiro to make him destroy the wall ^^; Heading into the corridor, they also found a wall that could turn and reveal a secret room, which Kuki remarked that they’re lucky to have spotted the secret room by chance.

Chapter 8: いにしえの扉 / The Ancient Door 

Back at the detective agency, Senri had compiled all of the information which Class 1 had gathered regarding the haunted house. He hoped that in these information, there may lie a hint which would lead them to solve the mystery behind the haunted house. Rui remarked that the information was hard for them to read and decipher as there were parts that were hard to understand due to how old the information were. They then started talking about the times where this country was just being developed, and guess that the house might have been built at that time period. The people who had lived around the house were mostly old citizens who had viewed how the country and town had prospered throughout the year.

Looking at one of the information, Rui realised that the way of the name of the owner was written was different to how names were wrote now in the modern days. He deduced that they might have gotten the name of the owner wrong due to mistaking the way his name was written. Now that they had the correct name of the owner, Shu told them to quickly start researching for more information of the owner using the the correct name.

Back at the haunted house, Kuki started commenting that he could smell a really strong smell from the other side of the room and guessed that it must be very dusty on that side. He told Shiro and “me” to head to the secret room and take a look at it. When Shiro asked him why doesn’t he want to go along with us in the secret room, Kuki explained that if everyone were to go together, there might be the possibility that we were all end up missing. Besides, if anything were to happen in the secret room, Kuki was confident that Shiro would be able to escape together with “me”. He told us that he would be staying behind as back up and would definitely help us if we called out for help, so we should head there without worrying too much. 

In the end, both Shiro and “me” decided to head into the secret room by ourselves. (Shiro is unexpectedly kind of sweet here asking “me’ to stay by his side and not leave him ^///^)

Heading into the secret room, Shiro commented that the room was indeed really dusty, the dust had stacked up on the floor like a layer of snow, and our footprints could be seen clearly as we stepped into the room OWO Kuki told us to be careful as we head our way inside the room, and that he would be joining us later as soon as he found a way to make sure that the hidden door (part of the wall) stays home without anyone supporting it. 

Shiro looked around the room and remarked that bed and wallpapers of the room were really worn out and seems that they’ve been moved to this room from the other parts of the house a long time ago. He soon reached to a dead end at the end of the room, but found that there’s a big wall over there that looks really suspicious, and thus deduced that perhaps there’s something over there...

Chapter 9: 不審な影 / The Suspicious Shadow

Suddenly, a shadow appeared and escaped from Shiro’s side. Shiro started to chase after the shadow, asking “me” to follow him but try not to fall and hurt myself along the way. (So cute that he actually called “me” assistant-chan! O/////O)

As we chased down the shadow down the corridor, Shiro realised that the path was getting larger. He wondered whether the shadow was really a ghost but thought that a ghost won’t be able to move at such a high speed. Deducing that if the shadow was really a ghost, it doesn��t have to escape from them, Shiro guessed that it wasn’t a ghost at all and decided to chase up to it.

He noticed that the shadow had went through a door crack, he told “me” to quietly opened the door to aid him in catching it. Shiro planned to catch this “ghost” before Kuki arrived to finish this “boring / lame” case (as said by Shiro), though he was abit afraid of the mice in there ^^;

However, just when he dashed into the room, someone called out to him not to step forward! It was actually Tsubasa (who had went off investigating the house himself earlier on), and he told us that there’s a cat by Shiro’s feet and he’s afraid that Shiro was going to step onto it. Turns out that the black shadow that we’re chasing after was actually a black cat, and Shiro remarked that his heart almost stopped just now due to what had happened. Tsubasa apologised for his actions, as he didn’t thought that he would have scared Shiro non-intentionally ^^; (Aww~ This CG of Tsubasa pleading with Shiro is really adorable~ >////<)

Shiro was confused on why Tsubasa was here as he had head towards the left corridor to investigate the house. Tsubasa answered that he guessed that the left corridor was connected to the right and created a loop in the end, and thus we would meet each other halfway along the corridor.

Back at the detective agency again, Senri and the others had finally found out the truth regarding the haunted house. Rui guessed that this might be a trick set up in the past that made it hard to be discovered by them Kenrouzoku, but Senri replied that he guessed that even the humans themselves who had lived in this town might not have known about this “truth”. They had also researched about the person who had requested them to investigate this haunted house, and was able to find out about his identity. However, Shu wondered about the reason why the person had decided to hide his identity, to which Senri and Rui unexpectedly had the same deduction towards the reason behind it. 

They guessed that somebody might be inside that house, but it definitely can’t be the owner of the house, since according to the information that they had found, the owner had already passed away. 

However, according to Kuki’s investigation earler on, there were traces of items around the house which Senri deduced that they might have belonged to someone who has some sort of relationship with the owner of the house. But the person was not someone who was related to the owner, as Rui’s research showed that none of the owner’s relatives were staying here, nor were there any traces of them having visited the house at all.

(This entire part sounds really confusing to me actually. I tried my best to write down what I could understand and translate from the screenshots I had ><” Sorry if it ended up really confusing Orz)

Chapter 10: そして,真相の扉 / And... Towards the Door of Truth

Shiro asked why was there a black cat doing here and who was the person who had brought it here. Tsubasa answered that he had came across the black cat during his investigation, and while following it, he realised that the black cat actually had a whole family staying in the haunted house. Shiro then wondered why Kuki had not followed us even though he told us that he would be catching up earlier on. (Hmmm... I wonder where is he exactly....?)

Tsubasa was worried whether “I” was injured, and heaved a sigh of relieve when he knew that Shiro had been protecting “me” very well all this time ^^ He was also glad that Shiro had paced himself to my speed of running when chasing after the black cat just now (even though Tsubasa commented that it was still very fast), and praised him that he’s really behaving like a good senpai taking care of me ^^

Talking about Kuki, Tsubasa suddenly remembered that he mentioned that he had found a key when they were searching around the house in the afternoon. Shiro guessed that Kuki must be trying to use that key to open the locked door that Shiro had came across just now, and was pissed off when he realised that Kuki had lured him off into investigating the right side of the house, and mentioned that he’s going to beat Kuki off to the sky when he returned XD

The two went back to the topic about the cats again, where Shiro asked Tsubasa that the cats were being reared in this house. (So perhaps someone is taking care of them...?) Tsubasa mentioned that there’s even more cats than the ones that were here currently, and asked Shiro whether he had came across any of them. Unfortunately, the only cat we had seen was the one that Shiro and “I” ended up chasing.

Just then, even more cats appeared (up to 5 of them), with Tsubasa mentioning that he had also came here while chasing after one of them. Shiro deduced that perhaps the sound of items banging into each other and the laughter might be caused by these cats, while Tsubasa guessed that it could be the wind too, since it had been blowing ever since they had stepped into this house. Shiro decided that they shall now have to the owner of the cats, who could be the culprit that was behind the haunted house.

Suddenly, laughter could be heard in the house, and Tsubasa who was hearing it for the first time, asked Shiro whether this was the laughter which we had heard the last time. It was then Shiro realised that one of the doors near them seems to be connected to the room with the locked door that we had came across the last time. We heard voices coming from behind it, and thus Shiro decided to open the door slowly to hear more of the conversations, as the voices currently sound really muffled and hard to listen.

However, the door creaked as Shiro complained about it, but Tsubasa was very excited, saying that his heart was racing and remarked that he was actually quite afraid of this reverse situation of being in pressure. (But... Tsubasa you look really happy though? ^^:)

Shiro in the end decided to open the door forcefully and shouted at the people inside to show themselves (or say show their true selves). However it was too dark in the room that Tsubasa had to diss that he can’t see the “culprits” true selves due to how dark it was XD

Just then, Kuki appeared and told us “That’s it!” He decided to reveal the culprit and that would be.... himself! (Ku...Kuki?!)

Chapter 11: 最奥の部屋 / The Innermost Room

Shiro was confused and demanded Kuki to give an explanation about it. But, Kuki told us that he was actually joking when he said he was the culprit, and assured us that the culprit wasn’t really a ghost actually ^^; He reminded us again that he had mentioned that he's someone who would only believe in whatever he had seen, and revealed to us the “real” culprit - Hinamori!

Kuki asked Hinamori what was he doing here, laying out all the grotesque objects out of the floor. Hinamori answered that they should be called as horror goods instead of grotesque goods and explained that he was actually laying out his collection and deciding what body organ to be put next to the heart. (In other words, I think he’s just rearranging his collection in a way.) Surprised by us who had came here, Hinamori asked us if we’re here to look at his collection ^^; (So cute that he’s asking this naively but... Hina~ Nobody would come here for no reason and visit your collection ><”)

Kuki answered that unfortunately we aren’t here to look at his collection, instead we’re here due to our work, which is to investigate this house, as there were spotting that people had heard laughter and water sounds from this house, and also poltergeist happenings in this house. Hinamori revealed the reason behind these sounds and happenings, they were caused by the traps that were layed out by him. He further on explained that reason behind why the mannequins hand would float in the air (controlled by fibre threads), and the origin of the water sounds (water coming out by itself from the tap - probably leakage?) As for the laughter, it was coming from Hinamori himself when he was in glee whenever he had gotten blood from Suzu-kun when he was preparing the chicken... ^^: 

The key which Kuki had picked up actually belonged to Hinamori. He had lost it recently but turns out Kuki had found it in the end. Hinamori happily showed us the chicken blood which he had gotten, but ended up dropping it by accident. In the end, even Kuki doesn’t understand whether Hinamori was laughing or crying when he remarked that it’s a waste of the blood and the world is going to end. (Just because of spilled chicken blood...? o.O)

Tsubasa offered to clean up while getting Hinamori to calm down, comforting him that he would definitely get his hands on some beautiful blood again. Hinamori calmed down, but he was in low spirits that Kuki remarked that he seems scarier like than when compared to when he was laughing or crying just now. “I” also tried to help to comfort Hinamori by handing him a handkerchief to wipe his tears. This seems to cheer him up a little as he complimented that “I’m” really a person with beautiful blood. (Erm... Thanks... I guess? ^^;) "I" even rolled up “my” sleeves to show “my” arm to Hinamori and that seems to be cheer Hinamori alot~ (Or say... was too much as he totally got too excited over seeing “my” blood pumping in the arteries O////O) There was also blood on the handkerchief actually so Hinamori got even more excited... Kuki and the others quickly tried to clamHianmori down once again, before he gets too excited to the point he collapsed =w=“

Shiro was pissed as he realised that this was all Hinamori’s fault in the end, though Hinamori was more interested in asking “me” whether he could have “my” handkerchief and add it into his collection. (Tsubasa was quite worried whether it was alright for “me” to give the handkerchief stained with blood away to Hinamori... ^^;)

Regarding Hinamori’s key which Kuki had picked up, he explained that he had actually borrowed it from the owner of this house. This came as a shock to us as we were told that the owner of the house had been dead since a long time ago?! Hinamori wondered whether the person he had saw was actually a ghost in that case, and apparently this pissed off Shiro too much that he almost beat Hinamori up. (Violence is not good Shiro!) In the end, Kuki decided that we head back to the detective agency to talk about this incident and get Hinamori to follow us back too.

Chapter 12: 幽霊屋敷の主 / The Owner of the Haunted House 

Back at the detective agency, Kuki told Shu that as what he had earlier text him about, they had managed to solve this “mystery” behind the haunted house. He remembered that Hinamori had behaved quite weirdly when he was talking about the city legends the last time they were discussing about that topic, and realised now that it was Hinamori himself behind it. Tsubasa was impressed that Kuki had already suspected Hinamori back then, to which Kuki answered that he had found out that Hinamori was usually out and came back later in the nights when the eerie spotting were encountered as well. 

Hinamori apologised to everyone for causing inconvenience to us, and Senri comforted him that it wasn’t anything to apologise about actually. However, he was curious why Hinamori had specifically went to that house to layout his horror collection. Hinamori explained that his room were already full of horror items, and thus he initially wanted to display the rest of them in the laboratory.  But Naoto had found the items to be obstructing and demanded Hinamori to take it away. He was pondering what should he do with his horror collection when he unexpectedly met the owner of the haunted house, who had told him that if he had made the house to have the legend of it being a haunted house, no one would dare to come near to it, and allowed Hinamori to put his collection there.

Shiro changed the target that he should be pissed off to Naoto instead, saying that Naoto should the real culprit XD (If Naoto hasn’t demand Hinamori to move his stuff away, all these won’t have happened ^^;)

Now what they found puzzling was that the owner of the house was known to have already passed away in the information given to them, so Kuki asked Shu if he had knew whether the owner was still alive or was really dead. Shu answered that the owner was indeed still alive, as the owner’s name was written in another way as he was born in another era different from them, and thus led to Shu and the others to read his name wrongly initially. Therefore, the person that they had found to be dead in their initial research turns out to be another person instead. Senri added on that other than the fact that the owner was still alive, he had also become the head of a really huge company. The person who Hinamori had met wasn’t a ghost, since there were records of the owner returning to the country within this month. 

However, Shu realised that there was still one mysterious part that he couldn’t understand. The person who had sent in the request to investigate the haunted house was actually someone who doesn’t exist in this world. Shu and the rest of Class 1 had searched for the name, address and age of this person to find out about his identity, but they could not find there’s such a person and thus deduced that this person was someone who doesn’t exist in this world. Kuki guessed that it’s most probably a prank set up by someone, (someone made up a fake identity =w=“) whereas Hinamori felt that it’s something more like an occult / supernatural case that he’s a fan of~ 

Class 1 had also asked Class 5 to do a fingerprint test on the letter they had received regarding the request to investigate this case. Other than the fingerprints of the detectives in the agency, they had located a new fingerprint. However, comparing with the fingerprints in their database, the fingerprint doesn’t belong to anyone in the database either. Kuki deduced that the fingerprints might belong to a criminal and suggested to them that they check with the “secret” (or say hidden) database as well, which Senri answered that they did check using some underhanded methods, but the results ended up to be the same. Therefore, Senri came to the conclusion that the fingerprint doesn’t belong to anyone in this world, but according to Class 5, they were sure that the fingerprint belonged to a human, and definitely not a fingerprint that was made up. Even if the fingerprint was in fact something that was made up to such a high quality, Senri guessed that the person must have a large database of fingerprints and had the sick hobby to collect them =w=“ Even though the power of science had allowed them to be able to analyze fingerprint, it’s hard to create one to mimic the look of human’s skin and the little injuries as seen on the fingerprint.. 

Senri made a little joke at the end, saying that there’s a possibility that the real identity of the person who had sent in this request was actually the ghost who had stayed at that haunted house. However, he realised that he might have taken the joke too far when he saw that he had scared Shiro instead XD

Kuki just thought of the case as being a weird case overall and just wanted to close the case, even though he knew everyone would have felt spooked and intrigued by the mysterious part behind the case. (Kuki you sound you just want to get it over and done with ^^;) He lectured Shiro to write his report this time round (since he skipped out the last time) and was glad that this case was closed in the end~

And that was it for this spooky mystery~ It’s actually kind of interesting in the end, especially that last part of that was yet to be solved in the end~ Nobody would knew who was it who sent in the letter I guess ^^;

As this case focused mainly on Class 7 (and of course Class 1 as the support), it satisified me greatly seeing that I’m a fan of Class 7 ^^ Hinamori also get some chance to shine since he usually doesn’t appear much as compared to Suzu-kun or Naoto~

Next case would also be a happy case~! I hope I’ll be able to write about it next week, so please look forward to it~! ^^

// i created this blog on a 12th April, and a little bit more than a month later i got to this number. i’m ... speechless if i had to tell the truth. this fandom is one of the most chill ones i’ve been in, and even though, like any other fandom, it has its flaws, i got to admit i’ve been in way worse fandoms. in fact, the reason i came to this one was to escape the pressure and stress from my other fandom, and also because i found in black and white 2 a breath of fresh air. however, as always, there were people involved in the process, and also others who helped my stay ... what would a follow forever be without a ‘thank you’ list of sorts ?

@aureajuniper: the only juniper i’ve seen in this fandom, but also the professor rper i’ve seen loving their muse and what they do seriously. you’re quite entertaining to see in my dash and while i’m not very vocal about this, i love your icon work and i’m glad you share it with the world. thanks to you i discovered the possibilities of a maternal-like relationship with cheren and i’m so glad you introduced me to that. i know it was something ‘seeable’, but one never does this kind of things alone- what i’m referring to is, you inspired me to develop the headcanon that juniper took personal care of the rookies while they were toddlers to the point that they consider her their second mom, and that’s honestly very cute and also more reason to explain the strong bond between all of them. your portrayal is also spot on and the mun is a nerd who i personally admire- 

@shujinkuro / @lack--two / @resfebxr: you three come in a pack because you achieved similar things: you were the definitive inspiration for me to create this blog. back when i was roleplaying as N, i got the idea of a cheren muse right after playing the game for the first time and watching the anime episode featuring him, and if it hadn’t been because i got your physical support, this blog would have never been made. no matter what happens between us, nothing is ever going to deny the fact that you three were the main reason why this muse got on its feet and started walking. your portrayals are full of carefreeness and love and it’s fun to see your muses react and interact.

@herstrengths: biancamun has to be the sweetest mun i’ve met in this fandom ?? in our thread together i’ve come to realize how much analysis and thought they’ve put into their muse, but our sporadical (sadly) conversations have made me realize how truly sweet and kind the mun is. we both babble about these two together and even share the craziest headcanons (shush, i’m not forgetting the bianca carrying cheren on a shopping cart thing--), and that’s just ?? genuinely charming and sweet ??? i really look forward talking to you more and developing our acquaintaceship because man, having you around IS a breath of fresh air-

It's about 'rising in revolution' and doing something to change our world for the better. The ending is chilling, HEARTBREAKING...but it REALLY drives the point home. Overall, the song is amazing. ❤

// I was going to leave this for next Monday when it’s the official date, but chances are I’ll be working or away and I’m not certain yet, and with so many other people posting theirs, I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon!  

I can’t believe I’ve had this blog for two years already on the 20th of February. Kaaras’ blog started off as a place for me to keep everything Dragon Age related (and Kaaras related) as an archive of sorts. Where I could share his game play with a friend of mine, and where I could store my art of him and screencaps.

It wasn’t too soon after when people approached me if I RP’d at all or asked IC questions, etc. After some pretty bad experiences in my previous fandom, I was a little nervous to start Rping on tumblr again. I’ve been SO overwhelmed with the positive response that Kaaras has been given. Honestly, I have met so many amazing people in this community.

Dragon Age and Kaaras helped me a lot through some darker stages in my life, through some pretty severe depressive states and mental struggles. He’s been a huge support beam for me, and honestly he’s made so so happy over these last couple of years. Kaaras very much became a person to me, and he’s now so much more than I ever could have imagined, no thanks to all of you and your support and interactions over the years. <3 

So first of all, thank you to EVERYONE who has ever interacted with Kaaras, whether you’ve stayed or left, you’ve still interacted and shaped Kaaras in one way or another. Thank you for approaching us, wanting to RP with Kaaras, sticking through all of the ooc posts, his (and my) moods and dark days, and just loving him as much as I love and care for him. <3 Thank you anyone who has sent us memes, anons, follows, art, ANYTHING. Thank you for merely interacting with us as a whole. 

Of course, what would a milestone be without some shout outs. So in, no particular order, here goes: 

The Inner Circle:

For the people I have long term Rped with and have made spectacular friends with. <3 These are people who have either put up with so much of my shit that they belong here because they deserve to or because they’ve simply made RPing here such a joy and left a huge impact on myself and Kaaras. Let’s be honest, we also talk nearly every day XD 

@elfroot-and-lightning - Honestly, where would Kaaras be without Ezra? Where would I be without you as my special friend and who I absolutely adore and love. <3 You are one of the very first people I got to RP with here on this blog, and I remember when Ezra was on your main blog, and I was so excited to RP with another qunari. Ezra was one of the very first muses to get so close to Kaaras to open up and talk about things that he’d never spoken about with anyone else. Ezra was a calm to him that he needed, and to be honest, because of them, we became so much closer to one another. Where we were too shy to talk to one another, our muses were able to fill in the gaps, and I can never regret that. You managed to settle yourself deep within my heart and when I say that I love you, I absolutely mean that. As whatever you will have me as *snug* You’re a kind, loving and gentle person, and talking to you always makes my day just that little bit brighter. Tbh, I still feel a little giddy when I think about my feelings for you XD

Kaazra is life has become an official tag, and to this day, Kaazra is still my OTP for these two in an RP setting. I will never not love these special two. You’re a fantastic writer, and even though you don’t RP as much as you used to, you’re still one of my favourite Rpers here and forever will be. *smooch* 

@sahlintalas - I don’t think you understand (yes you do who am I kidding) how much I love that someone can GET me in a cultural perspective and thus in a very personal and lifestyle perspective as well. Honestly, it’s SO refreshing getting to talk to someone who understand my lingo, the fact that dunking your biscuits in tea is a highly important role in society and all of our other ridiculously non American traits. XD 

I’m still slightly creeped out, even if amused that we have so much in common and that we are literally clones. That we look alike, that we share the same names and everything else. It’s amazing and yet so fucking weird that I love it to pieces. 

You have become one of my closest friends here in the DARP community and out of that as well. It’s not just the RP that I love with you, it’s getting to talk to you almost every day as well that it’s become quite a norm for me and that I miss it when we don’t talk. Sahlin has become such a significant part of Kaaras, and honestly as someone who understand how real a muse can be, I definitely need that in my life. 

You just GET me. And that’s so damn important. Even when we don’t agree, you still say that it’s nothing wrong with me, and even that the world needs people like me, who give so many chances, etc. And that’s important to me, to know that just because we don’t deal with things the same, that I still have your respect as a friend and as a person. 

For one, I love ALL of your muses, yes, even Martine although Kaaras still is iffy as fuck on her and they haven’t even interacted XD. Your muses are so unique to themselves, and not a single one of them is the same, they are very much their own persons. 

With Herah and Sahlin, I’ve actually learned a lot about Kaaras (especially his more dominant side with Sahlin). Seriously, I always thought that Kaaras was a major subby until he and Sahlin got together, and I realised just how wrong I was. XD 

Our muses have grown with each other, and that’s something I love to see. Thank you for putting up with Kaaras’ moods and my bad days as well. You’ve been a great friend to me over the year that we’ve known each other. <3 

@aylenlavellan - Although we’ve been friends, or at least known each other, for quite a few years, this fandom absolutely brought us closer than we’ve ever been. I was always a distant admirer of your art over on deviantART and then following you over on tumblr we talked a little more. I am SO happy that you made Aylen’s blog official, and I am so thankful that you gave into my pining for you to make her blog xDD (sorry I am the worst lol), but I have no regrets! 

You’re a sweet, kind, gentle soul and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I ADORE Kaylen to pieces and they are honestly one of the fluffiest and happiest ships I have going on here. We don’t love you just for the ships, though, we love you and your muse because you’re wonderful people, and you’re a fantastic writer and artist. Whenever I see that you’ve replied to a thread of mine, I always get a little bit giddy.

Also, never forget rubba dub dub in the tub--I had to mention that :D Because it’s fucking legit and it’s still the best thread title TO THIS DAY! 

Seriously, though, you’re a major sweetheart, and I don’t think you realise how important Aylen is to Kaaras’ happiness. His childhood was taken away from him when he was just 12, and with Aylen, he feels like he gets to relive something he never got to have as a growing man. A childhood and youthfulness is important to remember, and Aylen gives that to him, with the balance of a sturdy and professional adult life as well. They’re perfect together, and even in their tough times, there is still something so HAPPY about this ship. In turn, their happiness is absolutely infectious and I find myself happy for them. I love them, they’re adorable! 

@tal-fucking-vashoth - Omg, you haven’t even had this blog for two months and I ADORE you to pieces. When I first approached you, I was very shy and nervous and I thought you’d absolutely hate Kaaras (yes I’m just as anxious as everyone else is on tumblr apparently XD). But we hit it off really quickly, and even though it’s been so little time, I already know that you’ve got my back in tough times, and that’s important for someone who’s barely known each other for a few months. XDDD 

You’re fun, you’re chill, and I do feel like you’re a very understanding person. And then there is your Bull. WOW, as if your follower count can’t prove it to you already, but you write an amazing, deep Bull who is full of confusion and struggles and LOVE. He’s a giant teddy bear, and tbh, let me tell you as someone who’s spent 2 years in the DARP community and pining for some Bull action, yours is absolutely one of my favourite takes--and yes, even with the absolutely terribull puns. XD 

I really do look forward to getting to plot with you and becoming your friend. <3 We met on a very... awkward basis considering everything that happened with me and my dash all of a sudden becoming such a negative space, but your Bull definitely was a light in the darkness there, and thank you for putting up with my rot. You’re amazing already! 

@tavis-of-bannorn - I feel like our muses really struggled at the start, and now look at them. They are being really fluffy and adorable, and honestly, the time that it took for them to open up was definitely one of the longest for Kaaras, but it was well worth the wait, and it absolutely makes these two realistic. 

Tavis is an amazing, in depth character with a heart of poetry and symbolism. What I love most about Tavis is that there is no muse like Tavis, Tavis is so unique in his own way, even his own aesthetics, that he really stands out from the crowd. I know I’ve told you a million times that I think he’s the hottest elf in Thedas, but we don’t RP with Tavis because of what he looks like.

We RP with Tavis because of his depth of character, because of how well he’s been thought out and how much of a person he is, and an individual to himself. We Rp because Rping with Tavis is honestly something that I can’t even predict with him, and it’s sort of like a lucky dip every time Kaaras is with him, he’s left wanting that little bit more, and I’m left wanting to know what will HAPPEN, because Tavis is the kind of character you WANT to ask questions about. He draws you in in such a way where he’s never boring, and he’s always got something to say. 

You’ve been such a delight to talk to and befriend along the way, you’re so chill and understanding, and I love that, and you’ve been there for me when Kaaras was struggling and going through some serious shit. Also, your taste in music is fucking awesome, because let’s face it, it’s the same as mine P: 

@thosewhospeak - Omg, can I just say how much I LOVE KAARAS AND TAMA!!!? I mean, for one, Kaaras has NEVER had a rival before that’s actually been enjoyable for the mod to RP. And that’s how it SHOULD be. No guilt tripping, no manipulation for them to like one another, just pure letting our muses be themselves and enjoying their shitfest on the sidelines. XD

I absolutely love their dynamic and the internal struggles that the both of them have because of one another. This is what a rival SHOULD be, and you play Tama so strictly and in line that it’s amazing to watch her be so blind and stubborn and yet also struggle a little within herself. 

Rping with you in general is such a delight and so enjoyable, and it’s so fun getting to explore this side of Kaaras. Thank you SO much for making Tama and having her simply be herself. I know some people may have caved under the pressure and feared people might not like their muse because of what she is and her beliefs, but you’ve done a fantastic job with keeping her in character and true to herself, and that includes making her grow and learn as well.

Seriously, I adore her, she’s got to be my favourite Qunari (Qun) character out there. I fucking love her to pieces. <3 You’ve also always been there to ask if I was okay when I was having a bad moment, and I want to thank you for that. Chatting with you is always enjoyable, and I love bouncing ideas off one another with our terrible muses. XDDD
