Nephenee had gotten used to patrolling around Ohma, even though there was no conflict. One couldn’t just shake off the fear of another great battle starting. Above all else, Nephenee just wanted to keep her village safe... And now, this girl in green shows up on the town’s doorstep!

“Um, are ya’ll-- Ah mean-- is this your first time in Ohma?” Nephenee stammered, trying to hide her accent.

I had a lot of free time so while listening to the Gamexplain Xenoblade Chronicles archived livestreams, I doodled Nephenee again.

I’ve done this of her before I’m sure but I wanted to do it again cause I love her and she is a monster and an awesome shy country girl so here she is! Nephenee!

“Eh, giving a cute girl kisses? Count me in.” And a smooch on the top of her head from Echidna.

“I’m getting paid for this, right? My lips do not come cheap.” Farina still kisses Linkle anyway then leaves a bill for 50,000 gold in the hero’s pocket! FARINA!

“You and me should grab a drink some time.” Leonie pecks Linkle on the cheek.

“You Beorc have some strange customs, but very well, I don’t want to be the odd one out.” Lethe also pecks Linkle.

“Ah--um--well now--uuuuuh.” Nephenee smooches then immediately stiffens up and needs to be carried off by Lethe and Leonie.

“I-I think my Mother would be a better kisser anyway!” Noire squeaks, kisses Linkle’s cheek and then runs way!

Midori is still hugging the champion’s leg.

Nephenee’s Helmet

It’s your helmet, the same one you’ve been wearing since the early days of the Mad King’s war.

It never had much of a sheen to begin with, but time has certainly dulled the color and trim, as well as the few dings and scratches still present. The man who ran the smithy with Aimee and Muston’s merchant caravan had offered to reinforce and polish it for you, but you refused.

You rarely take it off when you leave your home, it’s begun to smell a little too, you can even see a few strands of your hair that have gotten stuck inside it, perhaps it is time to clean this helmet?

She was already well outside of her comfort-zone, being so brazen as to kiss the lady of blades as a welcome back greeting. The Sentinel was honestly ready to go hide somewhere or bury her head in the dirt, only to be caught up in Mia’s arms. Her body tensed, yet soon relaxed... Mia’s embrace was... it was nice... so warm... so comfortable.

“R-Really? Ya...ya meanin’ it?” Unable to hide her country drawl, despite her best attempt to do so, there was still no fighting the reddening of the farmgirl’s cheeks. “I jus’... I jus’ really missed ya’ll... I hope the kiss wasn’t too much.”

This red haired girl was a guest visiting from a faraway land, but she was also nobility, Nephenee wanted to leave a good first impression. “Calill and Largo’s pub is a gathering place for the Royal Knights, and those of us militia, I usually come here with a friend from my village.” Brom was much more outgoing than she was, it almost made Nephenee wish he was here, he’d make a much better conversation partner. “I… I’d recommend a mutton shank and some potatoes, most of the knights order ale or mead, but I’m sure Calill has some fine wine if you find that more to your palate.”
