Honestly the hardest part about managing this Tumblr with my best buddy and co creator Moss man is deciding how much story to give away straight away before we make any music videos. Immediately people should be able to tell things that aren't what they seem, but the temptation to give a brief overview of the story is so so strong. I want to tell you guys so many things and share so many stories with you guys but that's only for the staff discord to see rn. Which reminds me! If anyone wants to get involved in the project we have a staff discord now.

We are a Michigan based group with a very very small amount of people helping rn but if anyone reads this and is interested in learning more about these characters and helping or wants to audition for the band please do! I'll explain the characters briefly in a future post! (Or as much as I can get away with hehe). But these characters mean so much to me and are basically my oc's so I really hope people end up liking them.

I'm so close to posting the next chapter of Imperfect Consonance, except that I'm still fiddling with a few of the plottier bits. But I'm in that stage right now of "posted fic, can't think of anything else," so here's a little piece from chapter 2. Ollie-Dinah-Roy just does something to my heart.

Hal, feeling vaguely sheepish, sings the arpeggio. “Not bad," says Dinah. "Don���t do that in front of Roy, he’ll try to recruit you for backup vocals next time he reunites Great Frog.” Hal considers this for a moment, genuinely flattered. “I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed. Tough with my travel schedule, though. And wouldn’t Ollie…?” “Oh, yeah, he’d be fucking ticked. He tried to learn the bass guitar, back when Roy started up the band. It was sweet, really, but Roy was seventeen, didn’t want Ollie anywhere near it. And Ollie was all thumbs anyway, poor man.” She looks down fondly, carding her fingers gently through Ollie's hair. Hal can just about picture it: Ollie bent over the guitar, deft fingers in all the wrong places, calling Roy to come listen at all the wrong times. They’d always been the wrong times, back then, the two of them and all their love caught out of sync. “No invite for him, then?” “No. Poor Ollie. And none for me, either. You, though. I think you might cut it. You’ve got that cool jacket and all, and no parental baggage. Sing it back again.” “Roy thinks my jacket is cool?” “He did when he was seventeen.” “Oh,” says Hal, a little deflated. “So he, uh, doesn’t, anymore?”

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. College and life stuff has kept me busy but I'm back! This drawing is still very much a work in progress but I drew a little design for our character Tv who's the antihero of the story! I don't want to give too much away for future arg stuff once we have the money to make this a reality. The goal is to make a physical object head costume with a working screen and make an indie rock/alternative band and with a horror gimmick and a horror comedy arg story for people to follow. There's just so many cool ways to hide things in sound and music videos but the hard part is getting money for it all. I'm very excited though, and I hope more people learn about us and get excited so we can make this a reality!

Also canonically? That's his boyfriend's hoodie. Tv's boyfriend wears it constantly so Tv remembers him when he wears it. After all, it wouldn't be an analog horror story without queer characters. 💗📺📽️💕📼
