When Prince Theo has not shown any interest in marriage or any sort of relationship by the age of 25, his parents invite every eligible son and daughter they deem worthy of their second-born son. Theo is less than thrilled but knows he can't get out of this party. He has, however, no intention to find a suitable partner.

That is until he meets Stiles, one of the bartenders working the night of the party. He spends the evening at the bar, finding himself unable to leave. They even keep talking after Stiles' shift is over. The same night, their messy but intense relationship starts.

While it's strictly about sex at first, Theo finds himself falling for Stiles harder and harder with every night they spend together. For the first time, Theo is in love, and Stiles reciprocates his feelings even though Theo's love can be a bit much at times.

The King and Queen are aware of Theo's feelings as well, but as much as they want their son to find a partner, they refuse to accept that Theo might bring a mere bartender into her family — and they're willing to do whatever it takes to separate the two.

“Don’t sell yourself short,” Peter says with his usual knowing smile. It’s like the guy has a sixth scene for Stiles doing something shady.

“Can you go grab Nolan, please?” Raising his brows at Peter, Stiles points over his shoulder. “Careful, though, he’s a bit nervous… and armed with a crossbow. Try not to startle him.” Although he’s pretty sure at this point, everything could startle the poor guy. He’s got no clue how he made it this far without a nervous breakdown.

Peter draws his brows together. “Aren’t we leaving?”

“Not through that door.” Stiles gestures for him to leave before finally crossing the distance between him and Derek, cupping his pale cheeks softly. “Are you okay?”

“Why yes, I am,” Peter calls over his shoulder, “thanks for asking.”

Ignoring not only his uncle’s comment but also Stiles’ question, Derek tilts his head just enough to press a kiss to the ball of his left hand. “You shouldn’t be here.”

Of course.

Stiles rolls his eyes and flicks Derek’s forehead. “I should’ve been here weeks ago.”

Seven Sentence Sunday ~ Steo ~

Stiles can’t even get the water to ripple. He’d love to blame it on the fact that he’s currently hanging around two sons of Poseidon and a son of Kanaloa. His dad is a jack of many traits, but Stiles is a master of none. True, he only discovered that he had powers a year ago. Before that, he just considered himself extremely lucky or unlucky, depending on the situation. It wasn’t until Jordan, or Cerberus how the Greeks are calling him, popped up in his crappy little flat above the bar he was working at, and dragged him over here - he's safe here, and he's got a roof over his head. Too bad, Theo has the chance to be a pain in his ass every single day.

Theo isn't very good at differentiating between an affair and a relationship, Stiles learned that at the beginning of their whole friends-with-benefits situation. Despite not being exclusive, which is what they both agreed on, Theo likes to remind people that Stiles is off-limits to everyone else. So, it doesn't come as a surprise when Theo is less than thrilled about Isaac returning from France and taking up space in Stiles' life again.

It takes two weeks and at least eight arguments — that usually end up with them hooking up — until Stiles feels odd. It's almost impossible to stay away from Theo, and his desire to have sex with him or be otherwise intimate with him turns into a need, one that ends up being very painful if ignored for too long.

Stiles isn't stupid. He's very aware there's magic in the air, and it really would just be his luck if he accidentally pissed off a witch, right? Right.

After an accident killing almost ten people, Stiles was told that he needed to learn how to control his powers. He agreed, after all nobody ever taught him how to use his powers. They just appeared one day, and he tried everything to keep them under control. He trusted his team, and he especially trusted Theo when he told him there would be a place he could get help. Little did he know it would be a lab in the middle of nowhere. He was turned into a lab rat, forced to wear a collar that does more than suppress his powers, forced to wear a straitjacket day in and day out. 

Instead of trying to help him learn to control his powers, they were trying to figure out how to control him. They were trying to turn him into a weapon.

Years later, he is transported to a high-security prison in the middle of the ocean. They’ve made little progress, so they want to throw him out like a discarded toy. As much as in control they pretend to be, they are still terrified. His prison van is surrounded by soldiers. They still think they could stop Stiles in case his collar stops working. But they can’t. Not anymore. During his time at Eichen, Deaton might not have learned how to control him — Stiles, however, learned everything he needed to know about himself. 

It was enough that the second his collar acted up, Stiles managed to break free. His powers, however, have grown exponentially during the last few years. What caused a disturbance once, now causes an explosion. But Stiles doesn’t care. He wants out. He wants to leave. He wants to go home, to see his dad one more time before he’ll move somewhere nobody will be able to find him.

But Theo does find him. Theo always finds him.

And Stiles wonders if it was a good idea to show mercy to the person who helped lock him up. Maybe he should have killed him. It would’ve made life so much easier. It would have made forgetting Theo so much easier. But he didn’t, and now Theo is here, and Stiles knows — he fucking knows — that if he doesn’t send Theo away now, he will open himself up for more pain. 

This time, however, it might swallow him whole — and the world with him.

Theo is someone who always follows through with his threats. Naturally, Stiles ends up at the police station with a collar and an anal plug to not only listen to his dad scolding him about being reckless — as if Theo hadn't already done that — but a dinner with his father and Jordan too. Stiles is very sure Theo is doing this on purpose. His shit-eating grin is enough proof of that.

However, Stiles knows better than to try and fight it. That's only going to annoy Theo more, and annoying is the last thing he wants to do right now. Stiles did learn that over the course of their relationship. It's not that he's afraid of Theo, or worried he's going to do something he might not like. It's just that he'll have to wait longer for some really hit makeup sex, and it's not like Stiles is known for his patience. He will behave like he's never done before and get through this dinner without any mishaps — even if it takes an eternity.

Once they get home, every second will be worth it.

They’ve been planning Theo’s 25th birthday for a bit. Well, Stiles spent a lot of time planning, Theo’s uttered that he doesn’t care what they’re doing as long as Stiles was there. While that’s very sweet, it’s not at all helpful. It’s their first party in their new house, and Stiles wants Theo to have a good night; because it’s also the first real birthday party Theo is going to have in his life. Stiles wants it to be special, to be something Theo will enjoy looking back on. 

And for the most part, that came true. They’re having fun, even Tara and her boyfriend show up. For the first time in years, the Raeken siblings don’t argue about their parents — for the first time in forever, they are laughing together. Everything is perfect until Tracy invites herself to the party. Stiles never reached out to her for a reason. If Theo had wanted her there, Stiles would have invited her, no matter how much he hates her. However, Theo does not care. 

Despite that, Tracy is overstepping boundaries the moment she sets foot into their house. Having her around reverts Stiles into his jealous and insecure self he resented to be in High School. So, if he’s a bit clingy and teases his boyfriend more than he usually would do, then so be it. He’s trying to prove a point to Tracy, although he’s more than aware that he does not have to. They’ve been dating for five years. They made it through a long-distance relationship that lasted three years — during which Stiles lived in Poland for almost half of it — and now they have moved in together. They’re steady. Theo loves him.

And yet, Tracy still manages to bring out the worst in him. Just after Midnight, Theo decides that it’s time for everyone to leave, now. Stiles doesn’t even get the chance to lock the door before Theo drags him off to their bedroom to remind him exactly how he feels about him and that he doesn’t need to be insecure about anything at all.

work in progress: Bad Things Happen Bingo - Power Fatigue

Stiles has long accepted his true nature as a nogitsune. He used to be in control until Theo was banished. More and more incidents are happening around him, usually fuelled by the pack's indecisiveness on how to 'deal with him'. He's treated like an inconvenience by some while others walk around him like on eggshells, making it abundantly clear he's a member of the pack.

After a violent incident on the lacrosse field, Kira decided to set Theo free again since he seemed to be the only one able to ground Stiles. But mere days after Theo returned, the Wild Hunt appears in town to capture Stiles. They don't appear without being called, but whoever put a target on Stiles' refuses to back down — leading Theo to be captured in a desperate attempt to protect Stiles.

Losing Theo twice in not even a month pushes Stiles over the edge. Without caring about the consequences, he tears open a portal to enter the Wild Hunt's prison, willing to burn the whole place to the ground if it means Theo will come back to him; consequences be damned. He can deal with those later.

This time, he will not allow anything or anyone to stay in his way. He's going to get Theo back, no matter the cost.

On their road trip from Virginia back to Beacon Hills, Stiles and Theo accidentally end up in what seems to be a ghost town. While Theo is still trying to figure out why his phone decided to send them the completely wrong way, Stiles ventures a little away from the car in hopes of finding someone who can point them to the next motel. It’s late at night, and Stiles doesn’t feel confident in driving around when the fog is so thick they can hardly see what’s in front of them. 

Despite knowing his overactive mind likes to play tricks on him, Stiles cannot shake the feeling that something is wrong in this town. No, with this town. He feels watched although he doesn’t see a single person, feels like danger is lurking around every corner, every window, hiding in the fog two feet away from him. 

And worst of all, Stiles cannot shake the intense feeling of deja vu. He’s sure he would have remembered being here before, but it’s like he’s been here before even though Stiles doubts he’d have forgotten a place like this. 

When Theo joins him with their backpacks, Stiles leads them down the street to a hotel — Lake View Hotel, located near an amusement park at Sandford Street. Stiles doesn’t understand how he knows what he knows. He doesn’t understand why he feels like he hates this town and can’t quit it. He doesn’t understand anything that is going on. 

Until he meets a woman called Claudia — a woman who has the same name as his late mother, but is nothing like her. She’s erratic, insane, and tells Stiles that he is the reincarnation of the deity’s former host, that he is the vessel for a god of chaos, strife, and pain; a god that will bring paradise on earth through violence and suffering.

Theo tries everything to get Stiles out of his town, but instead of fleeing this cursed place, they are running deeper and deeper into it, and cross paths with horrors unlike anything Stiles has ever seen. The worst thing, however, isn’t anything Stiles encounters in this hell on earth. 

No.

The worst thing is that Theo knows a lot more than he lets on. His boyfriend has secrets of his own, secrets that are going to test a bond Stiles considered unbreakable.

@steodiscord 's Spooktober - Scare Dare

Theo probably thinks he's proving some kind of point by suggesting that Stiles wouldn't stay the night at the old haunted, well allegedly haunted, elementary school in Beacon Hills. Stiles remembers the stories, and he certainly remembers how he had to walk past this creepy old building every single time he had to go to his middle school. It wasn't exactly pleasant.

But that doesn't mean Stiles believes in the hauntings — or is scared of staying the night there with Theo. The scariest thing in that place is going to be Theo anyway.

Or so Stiles thought.

It only takes a couple of hours for the two to realise that the stories don't come from a few teenagers trying to scare the neighbourhood. Something is going on in this place. Something is very angry — and it's trying its hardest to get Theo and Stiles out of there; or maybe kill them. Both options seem to be very likely.

So, Stiles and Theo have to decide if they're going to stay the night or get out of there as quickly as possible.

work in progress: kinktober 2022 - Love Bites

Having a werewolf boyfriend is amazing. For the most part. They're a little bit too clingy, but that could also be exclusive to Theo. Stiles doesn't mind either. He's got enough distant partners in the past that having Theo around almost constantly is pretty nice. They've been dating for almost half a year and have seen each other whenever they don't have to work. Lydia has called them co-dependent multiple times. As per usual, she's a little overdramatic.

Stiles leaving for his aunt's wedding in Poland will be the first time they're forced to separate for almost eight days because Theo's father refuses to give him the week off. However, he's nice enough to give Theo one day to bring Stiles to the airport.

His plane leaves in the very early morning, so they arrive at the airport in the middle of the goddamn night. Stiles' dad and Melissa have excused themselves to one of the airport's restaurants while Theo decides to make use of the surprisingly empty airport to mark Stiles in a way that makes it abundantly clear he's not to be hit on by anybody.

Stiles absolutely despises that he cannot return the favour.

Ever since his parents' death, Stiles has made sure to stay away from the supernatural. He hoped pretending not to know about it would somehow protect him and the people he cares about. He didn't want to end up like his mother, falling for a supernatural creature only to die in the crossfire. But it seems as if once you've opened your eyes to the truth, the supernatural keeps finding you.

While on a case with the FBI, a vampire finds his way to him due to Claudia's reputation. Apparently, his name is Theo Raeken, and he's in horrific shape after trying to avenge his slain sister. Despite the promises he's made to himself, Stiles lets the vampire in. He looks about his age — hardly twenty-five — and to Stiles' utter dismay, the guy is hotter than hell. It's probably a vampire thing.

Theo tells him a bit about himself. He's new to the whole vampire gig — if 60 years can be considered new, that is — and was living in a mansion with his sister until hunters decided to attack them in the middle of the day. Theo insists they didn't do anything to warrant the attack, but Stiles has his doubts. Be it as it may, he pities the vampire. Stiles knows how it feels to lose family; he also knows he would go absolutely feral if he lost his brothers.

Reluctantly, he offers to help Theo. First, he's just looking for information, but the more time he spends with the vampire, the more Stiles is drawn to him. Until they've formed a bond he can no longer deny.

And when the day comes, Stiles refuses to let Theo go alone — even if it means he will have to go up against someone he's considered a very close friend when he was younger.

While Kira is on a date with her questionable Tinder match, Stiles keeps an eye on her from the bar across the street - at her request, of course. Funnily enough, Stiles is approached by the hottest guy he has ever seen. Theo is charming, attractive, and fun to talk to. Around three hours into the evening, however, Kira begged him to get her out of her date.

So, Stiles rushes out of the bar, leaving Theo behind without his name or his number — but Theo a rising football star, and he refuses to let Stiles go. Thanks to his social media fanbase and a bit of detective work, it takes Theo barely a day to find Stiles again.

When Stiles meets him later that night, it's after a day full of whispers and weird looks from the people at his university; and after Jackson told him who Theo really is. The thing is, Theo seems to be perfect and, judging by those three hours they've spoken, like someone Stiles would like to get to know better, probably even date. However, Stiles isn't sure he's ready or even prepared for what it means to get to start dating a famous football player with millions of people watching their relationship unfold.

But Theo seems ready to fight for a chance, and the harder he tries, the more Stiles is willing to say yes.

work in progress: Kinktober 2022 - Intoxicated

Leaving for college on the other side of the country has been one of the best decisions Stiles has ever made. For the first time in years, he feels optimistic again — if he doesn't count the paranoia that's haunting every waking moment. At some points, it gets so bad he's in a constant state of anxiety for what feels like days.

Missing Brett doesn't help. While they're not in a relationship, Stiles' feelings for him are very much present, but he'd rather keep them to himself. It's probably better that way even though he expects Brett to tell him he caught feelings for somebody else almost every day. His roommate and other friends are not unaware of Stiles' mental state. Their solution? Drugs and sex, preferably together. No matter how much he likes his new group of friends, Stiles doesn't trust either enough to let go like that. He trusts hardly a handful of people, and only one of them could potentially give him both.

Stiles wants one night of peace, just a few hours without his goddamn anxiety. In the beginning, Brett is a bit hesitant but ultimately agrees to it under a set of rules. He gets the party drugs, they're staying home, and they can both stop it at any time without any whining. Knowing what's awaiting him at home, Stiles is pretty excited about returning to Beacon Hills.

After all, what could go wrong?

They've been planning to visit Stiles' grandparents for a few months now. Stiles has been nervous ever since. His father, even if reluctantly, has accepted Theo as a part of their small family and his future son-in-law. But Stiles' maternal grandparents are even more protective of Stiles than his father is — which means they can never hear anything about Theo's questionable past. Theo also needs to be on his best behaviour at all times.

It's probably redundant to mention that Stiles is stressed. Theo is charming, but not in a way parents or grandparents would appreciate. Theo is protective and jealous. He's an asshole and the best thing that ever happened to Stiles. He's the person Stiles wants to spend the rest of his life with, so it's extremely important to him that his grandparents love Theo.

The day of their flight, Stiles is an anxious wreck. Everything sends him into a spiral, even the smallest of turbulences. Luckily, Theo knows exactly how to distract him — they just have to be very careful about it.
