A/N: NO ONE LOOK NOR PERCEIVE ME OKAY? I AM VERY EMBARRASSED (I am cringe but i am free). Anyway here it is as i said but ugh

The bar was pretty full, the music just loud enough to drown out most of the conversations around him. Logan was nursing both a headache and what was probably his fifth drink while eyeing the folks around him. It’s not that he had nothing to do back at the school, he did have things to do but he had to distract himself or he would go insane. He was starting to regret more and more his decision to break things off, her face alone when he had said it made him want to shove his foot down his throat and swallow it whole.

He needed to do something about this sinking feeling and fast, his leg was damn near about to fall off from how fast he was bouncing it. That’s when he spots her, in the middle of the crowd and dancing like she didn’t have anyone looking at her. He hums and downs the drink in one go ‘looks fun enough, cute too’ he thinks to himself while making his way to the stranger, this was a distraction he knew would work even if for just a few hours.

As he got closer she seemed to notice him, if her smile and the glint in her eyes didn’t give it away then the way she grabbed his jacket to get him in her space sold it.

“Hey.” She spoke close to his ear “Came all the way here just to stare?”

He chuckles and places his hand on her hip “Maybe, that a problem?”

“Oh not at all, though a picture might last ya longer.” She says as she takes a sip off her drink, it’s a sweet drink that smells like it would give him toothaches but he could care less about that right now.

“I’m more of a practical learner, bub. I like to put my hands on things.” Their faces are merely a few inches away now.

And then she’s pulling him in and he’s in a blessed mind fog.

“Come ooooooon! Move your ass, I’m starving here man.”

She was pulling him by the wrist, well… pulling was a strong word for it really, it was more her gently tugging and this wall of a guy allowing her to stir him where she wanted him.

“You’re the one who’s dictating the speed here bub. I ain’t doing anything.” He smiled easily at her and got a grunt in response.

“OH! There I see it, my friends told me this place had great food. Come, come, come.”

And that’s when his stomach dropped to his ass, because in front of him stood the very last place he wanted to be at with this woman. His mind tried to find any plausible excuse to get them out of there but NOTHING came to mind.

‘Fucking great, this is just great’ he thought.

But she was determined to get there and from the little he had seen she didn’t seem like the kind of person who could be easily persuaded to do things she didn’t want to.

As they entered the place was about as dead as one would expect, except for the workers obviously but those really had no choice but to zombie about the place until closing time. She jumps into one of the seats right at the counter and pats the one next to her for him to follow suit, and much to his dismay he does it.

“So have you been here before? Anything you recommend?” she says and pulls his jacket tighter around her arms, it had landed there as soon as they had left the bar and she hadn’t let go of it since.

He sighs “Yeah uh… the pie is pretty good. So is the coffee, and you might want it so you don’t wake up with the hangover of a life time.”

She nods and tries to look into the kitchen “Hello? Are you guys open or did we just break in accidently?”

And of course, of course SHE had to come and serve them, the universe just had to get in one more cruel joke to the script of his life.

“Hi! Sorry we were cleaning up, how can I help-”

The way she stood there for a second looking at them made his skin prickle with something that he reaaaallly did not like, but he shoved it aside and simply put his arm around her shoulders. He could make it look like he didn’t care about nor noticed her reaction, it was for the best that he did actually. The more she hated him the easier it would be for her to move on from him and his crap.

“Oh good! Yeah I would like a slice of pie please aaaand some HEAVY coffee if you could.” She was leaning into him easily “You want anything? It’s on me.”

“Uh no thanks, I’m fine”

“You sure are” she laughs.

As Sunshine leaves to go get their things she pulls away, stretching like a lazy cat. And as she turns to him, ready to ask him the most ridiculous thing she could think of she notices it, she notices the look in his eye. It’s a look she has seen plenty of times before, and it’s a look that most people don’t even know that they do but it’s there. She looks at Logan and sees the absolute want and pining in his eyes for the girl that walked by. She hums and a smirk grows on her face as her food is set in front of her.

“Um, here you go. Hope you like it and if you need anything else just call for me.”

As the literal definition of ‘Sunshine on legs’ walks back to the kitchen, she picks up her coffee and takes a loud sip, hiding her smile behind the mug.

“You know? If I knew that bringing you here would result in you making puppy dog eyes at the waiter I would have just kept walking to my apartment.” She says with a laugh.

That seems to snap him right out of his thoughts “What?! What the hell are you on about?”

“Oh come on, Logan! I can see it plastered right on your face dude, I’ve got an excellent eye for this kind of thing.”

“I swear you got it wrong-“

“Look, we can still go back to my place and have fun, I’m all for casual stuff. Buuuuuuut I can also see that THAT girl is who you really want and I don’t need you shouting someone else’s name while we’re at it.” She says as she slides him the rest of her pie and coffee.

Again, Logan sighs “We used to date but things… they just got complicated and I thought it best to end it.”

Her mouth drops open “YOU broke it off? Dude…” she’s whisper yelling now, holding onto his arm like she might rip it off “I am so going to get you back together.”

“What-”

“Don’t worry you will love my cupid services. All my reviews are great.”

“Hold on now-”

“Come on we’re done, let these people finally close up.”

And he’s being hauled off again, as she throws way too much money at the counter and yells her goodbyes.

All the while all that went on inside his head was ‘What the fuck just happened?’

looking back it's almost funny to think about how fucking badly nandor must've fought to pretend he didn't care about guillermo in the earlier seasons because he used to act like he genuinely couldn't care less if he lived or died and made sure everyone knew exactly how little he supposedly cared. and then this episode he quite literally begged and pleaded for guillermo's life, openly mourned him in front of everyone else, admitted he still remembers every single word of some card guillermo gave him like fourteen fucking years ago
