Headcanon: Dominants can sense each other eikon's aether when said eikon is in its 'active' state, but cannot if it is 'inactive' or in 'calm' statuses.

The scenes showing dominant can sense each other's eikon aether are:

Joshua & Clive sensing Jill's aether is enduring (active)

Clive sensing Garuda's aether when Bene goes berserk (active)

Joshua sensing Clive using power (active) 

I can’t recall if there're more scenes regarding this. But there’s a tricky one: Joshua sensing Clive have Jill's Eikon while it's inactive. However, I'm more inclined that Joshua  assumed Clive took it because if he can sense eikon even in its inactive state, he doesn't need to ask Clive "You took it right?" if he already knew the answer. Joshua could go straight punching Clive without asking him.  Moreover, with all of 'oh she understood, you knew she never refused you' feels like he can grasp some assumption that Clive took it or Jill gladly gave it to him without having to sense it.

Here come’s the fun. What if the Bahamut’s aether is still within Dion but in inactive status and that's why Clive and Joshua can't sense it?

I always find it strange that Clive needs to ask Joshua about Dion's status when they both can sense aether. 

But then it clicks. it's not that Joshua can and Clive can't but they both can't sense Bahamut because it's inactive. Clive got yeeted by ultima first. He doesn't know whether Dion just fainted somewhere or he's dead so Clive asks Joshua since the latter is the last person with Dion. Joshua shaking his head might be his assumption that Dion died, considering all explosion and nuke Dion got.

So yup, I’m going to headcanon that inactive eikon aether = other dominant can’t sense it = possible that Dion survives

Am alive, but arts aren't so much. Least Ninjago wise, my mind I'd at a constant war of what fandom to put my focus into, lately it's been heavily Pokémon, and more Sonic than Ninjago. Idea well for Ninjago has ran out a little, I'm up for random silly recommendations so I can at least get something out, but yeh know. Anyways, am oki just very blank in da void.
