"and what kind of business moves are those?" he asked with a chuckle, taking a sip of his drink. it was clear his eyes were following the man now, as if he could make it any more obvious.

as always aaliyah had kept her word of being damian's date for his event. she was dressed to the nines like she had also promised. although she liked to say that helping him was a lot, she loved it. she loved seeing the man succeed and seeing him smooch with investors. like the latter, aaliyah loved talking to others. it helped keep her attention off damian. she had taken a break from talking to walk up to damian to steal him away from who he was talking to.
