the world outside of the confines of those four walls disintergrates into nothingness. they are the only two people who exist and he's delighted by that prospect. as she kisses him back, he deepens it. the longer it lasts, the more potent his confidence in it becomes. it feels heavenly. it feels as though she's restored something within him he hadn't even known had been missing. their first time together had been incredible, but this was magical. sparks flying, every atom of his body tingling, filled with an urgency to be as close to her as he physically can be. he shifts closer still, one hand grasping against her hip, then slipping along her thigh, dragging it over his own. he's not afraid of anything now. if he has meredith not only in his life, but like this. in all the ways he hadn't allowed himself to contemplate for too long, had only caught himself contemplating in the middle of the night when he was left alone with nothing but his thoughts and fantasies...then he was capable of the impossible. the world could say what they wanted, but they had one another and logan, in the heat of the moment, was convinced that was enough. that it'd stifle the effect that anyone else's words had on them. once her leg is pressed against his thigh, he turns over, pressing his own frame snug against her own. it's her hand bunched against his shirt that emboldens him. he'd protect her from the harshest and more ludicrous of criticisms, defend her for the rest of his life. as long as they had one another, he was convinced that they would be safe.

it’s as if the world itself grinds to a halt, allowing her to capture the moment in her mind, sealing into memory the safe space of their home where she feels his lips on hers… technically not for the first time, though try telling that to every nerve in her body that lights up on impact. she tries to take it all in bit by bit in those precious first seconds; the taste of him, the softness of his lips, the briefest flash of nerves she catches just before her eyes fall shut. then, with all the relief of a river breaking free, she’s kissing him back, the tiny gap of space still remaining between them closed in an instant as she draws herself in. rather quickly, meredith decides the wait was worth it. this is worth everything. continuing to live her life at home with nora while waiting for days or even weeks for logan to come back to them, the initial panic of her identity being released to millions of people, the scorn and anger likely still being thrown her way right now by jaded fans — it’s all worth it when he’s kissing her like this. leaning into it, she savours every soft touch he gives, breathing adoration into his lungs like he’s the only other person in the entire universe. at this point in time, he might as well be and she does what she’d just said she was capable of doing when he’s around — switches off her brain and every little train of thought that could possibly derail this and merely allows herself to act. that’s how she ends up with a hand bunched in the fabric of his shirt a second later as if he would ever dare to leave, sighing out his name like it’s a breath of something warm and sweet.

No, this isn’t Jon and Damian having a hissy fit.  It’s actually Clark Kent Jr. (aka Superman Jr. or Superman ll) and Bruce Wayne Jr. (aka Batman Jr. or Batman ll) in their first appearance as the Super-Sons, at least as a semi-regular feature in World’s Finest.  There had been plenty of “imaginary stories” involving offspring of both Superman and Batman before this, but those stories were generally one-shots, and the children were much younger.
In the Super-Sons story series Superman Jr. and Batman Jr. (writer Bob Haney thankfully dropped the “ll” from their names after this initial appearance) were portrayed as typical rebellious teens, tired of living in their fathers’ shadows.
The sons looked almost identical to their fathers, especially in costume, although artist Dick Dillin would occasionally draw Superman Jr with mutton chop sideburns (which were popular at the time (1973).
The boys’ mothers were never identified, and when they appeared their faces were always drawn in shadows so deep it looked like their heads had been dunked in India ink.  Superman’s wife was shown with black hair (leading everyone to assume she was Lois Lane).  Whoever she was, she was definitely a normal human, because we’re told repeatedly that Superman Jr. half-Kryptonian/half-human.
Batman’s wife was usually drawn with red or auburn hair (which meant she could have been anyone, including Vicki Vale, Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy, Barbara Gordon/Batgirl).
Being half-Kryptonian, Superman Jr.’s power levels are only half of his father’s.  In this first story, he is shown being unable to fly, but he can leap up to 100 miles in a single bound.  Bullets don’t hurt him, but they leave nasty bruises (a trait he shared with Marvel’s Luke Cage).  And while bombs don’t kill him, they render him unconscious.  A hallmark of Bob Haney’s writing was lack of consistency, and Superman Jr. was no exception; by his second appearance he was flying effortlessly, although a strong headwind could slow him down.
The Super-Sons proved popular enough that thy appeared ten more times in World’s Finest over the course of the next three years.   Writer Haney treated the stories as actual tales from the future and, in his mind at least, it was canon that Superman and Batman would have namesake sons who would embark on these adventures.
Haney’s final Super-Sons tale was in World’s Finest #242 (Dec. 1976).  Not too long after that he was no longer the regular writer on the title, and by the end of the decade had pretty much stopped working for DC.
The Super-sons made one final appearance in World’s Finest in issue #263 (July, 1980), written by Denny O’Neil.  The boys showed up in the adventure, much to the surprise of their “fathers.”  It was revealed that the sons had never existed; they had been simulations Superman had run on his computer in the Fortress of Solitude to show Batman and him what it might be like if they had children.  A bizarre accident had caused the computer simulations to come to life, but an energy they gave off was threatening to destroy the planet.  Convinced that they weren’t real and posed a threat, the boys sacrificed themselves by diving into Superman’s disintegration pit* and saved the world.
This version of the Super-Sons has returned a few times since, either in Elseworlds tales or stories depicting different Earths in the multiverse.  The last time I checked, versions of these Super-Sons were living on Earth-16, but they may have, or probably did, change with the introduction of the DC Omniverse.
* Superman described the disintergration pit, a regular feature in the Fortress at the time, thus: “It’s a sort of atomic cauldron, really, fueled by radioactive Kryptonian elements I obtained from the bottle-city of Kandor long ago.  It’ll dissolve almost anything which is dropped into it back into its molecular components within an instant.  And that would include yours truly, if I were feeling suicidal.)

I don't know if it fits anywhere near the catholic coloring scheme, but maybe have one end of the wizard ranking hierarchy (idk if this would fit the newbies or high rankers best) oughta have red and black next to each other, to better hide the bloodstains from one's hands disintergrating atom by atom
I LOVE how much people have gotten into the idea of mage gloves!! I've been working on some more notes, and I'm super excited that people seem into it.
I've got it in my notes right now that there's a priest order that has partnered with the Magetower, so that all clergy have a basic education in how magic works and how to use it safely, since magic and prayer are very intertwined in this world. I'm leaning heavily toward having red as the color for mage-clerics, since red is the color of confirmation in the Catholic church and I'm a little gremlin using fantasy worldbuilding to process Catholic baggage, aha.

Conversation
my sister: when I die, I'm gonna be floating as a spirit in space
my mom: when I die, I'm gonna be with Jesus and Mother Mary. In their everlasting care.
me: when I die, I'm gonna decay...
my mom: you're so not romantic
me: ...and break down into atoms which will become part of the Earth as flaura and fauna will dine on my body in a continuous circle of life and death until the Sun starts dying, disintergrating the Earth and all that has ever been on it into atoms and making them a part of itself so it can die and scatter its enriched guts across the galaxy, delievering the elements that made up my body to the far off corners of the vast cosmos where they can maybe reach a planet in a habitual zone of its nearby star and become a basis for life to begin

Crisis On Infinite Earths #8
Warning, Spoilers Ahead…
The Anti-Monitor (in a new shell), Psycho-Pirate, and Flash head to Quard.
Darkseid reveals that he has cloaked Apokilips from the Anti-Monitor but stopping the threat is the responsibility of the Earth heroes.
The Green Lantern Corps has suffered many casualties.  The Corp are furious that the Guardians didn’t notify them of the universe-ending threat. The Guardians respond with their typical “shut your mouth and know your role” nonsense.
The Legion is back on 30th Century Earth-1.  Brainiac 5 is throwing himself into his work in order to avoid facing Supergirl’s death.
Firestorm and Firehawk head to Wyoming to pick up Vixen and T.O. Morrow.  The group head to the abandoned JLA satellite.  Martian Manhunter, the Atom II, and Cyborg have the remains of the Red Tornado.  T.O. Morrow, one of the Red Tornado’s creators, is going to assist in the repairs. Morrow states that the Tornado’s interiors have entirely changed from his original design.
John Stewart brings Blue Devil to the satellite.  The group admits they are desperate so any input Devil can offer is welcome.  The Tornado explodes causing the satellite to destruct.  Firehawk decides it’s a great time to whip up a new costume.  Morrow disappears in a flash of light.  Devil follows him and somehow ends up on the Omega Men’s ship in the Vega star system.  The warp causes the Omega Men’s ship to disintergrate.  Blue Devil just can’t catch a break!
The Flash frees himself and forces the Psycho-Pirate to turn the Thunderers against the Anti-Monitor. The Flash pushes himself to the limit to destroy the Anti-Monitor’ cannon.  Barry’s final thoughts: “Mom and Dad…You can’t hear me, but I love you so much. Iris…apart for so long…together for so short a time…Remember me, Iris…remember how much I cared.  Fiona…Wally…Dexter…Ralph…Sue…Hal…all the people I loved…Lord, it hurts…hurts so much…forgive me for leaving you like I did….Understand why…please understand why.” Flash, as he’s dying, travels back in time – causing the visions Wally and Batman had earlier in the series.
Quick info drop:  Iris is Barry’s wife, Wally is Kid Flash, Fiona is Barry’s fiancée, Ralph is the Elongated Man, Sue is Ralph’s wife, and Hal is the Green Lantern.  I’m not sure who Dexter is – maybe a friend on the police force?
The Anti-Monitor has a hissy because the heroes have – once again – wrecked his plans.  The issue ends with the Challengers of the Unknown monitoring the disturbance in space and hearing an ungodly scream.  The scream is the result of a very frustrated Spectre.

Mutants & Masterminds: The Telekinetic
So right now my telekinetic has three powers. Damagining Telekinesis, Flight, and Force Shield. He might take regular Shield as well... cheaper than raising the Defense stat.
He has a bunch of Alternate Powers based off Telekinesis including a Force Bolt/Blast, Force Choke/Suffocation, and Force Crush/Internal Attack (fortitude save or damage from Ultimate Power).
Then I got a little weird with the Alternate Powers. He has an Area Burst Fire Control as an alternate. I've seen in some fiction telekinetics exciting atoms into explosions. He also has Ignite to set people on fire. I'm also considering Disintergrate... one of my favorite Destiny flavor texts is "I could flense you apart molecule by squirming molecule. It is within my power."

The Matrix (1999):
- I’ve been inspired by the Matrix and some of the concepts and scenes that are involved in the trilogy. Bill Pope (born 19th June, 1952), is an American cinematographer and  lmmaker. He’s best known for his collaborations with directors Sam Raimi and Edgar Wright, and his work on The Matrix trilogy. I found it interesting that the triolgy was so popular that there was an anime spin off developed which must of been just as incredible.
- Anime and Manga stysled illustration is something I’m really fascinated by and have yet to explored so seeing this really has boosted me to start trying out a few ideas and if it could be incorperated into either this project or a future project that would be a great achievement.
Momento (2000):
- I watched this time in the classroom, a very interesting concept and the use of alternation between colour and black and white sequences. The black and white sequences proceed in chronological order, while the color sequences proceed in reverse chronological order. The forward black and white scenes and the reverse color scenes alternate until they meet in the middle of the story at the end of the lm.
The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009):
- A Chicago librarian suffers from a rare genetic disorder that sends him hurtling through time whenever he is under extreme duress; despite the fact that he vanishes at inordinately frequent and lengthy intervals, he attempts to build a stable future with the beautiful young heiress he loves.
Transcendance (2014):
- I’ve been inspired by this  lm and its technology vs human concept to create an image similar to this scene where all atoms as we know it are essentially not real ans start to disintergrate.
Click (2016):
- When I was explaining my intentions for this project a girl in the class mentioned a movie called ‘Click’, this reminded me that this  lm was also a great source of inspiration - This  lm relates to myself a lot and I really like the concept of it because I’d love to have a remote that could let me pause time and rewind it like in this  lm.
