The fact is instead of trying to network internationally by doing promo for the queer Netflix show he chose to wait and do it for the straight Netflix movie - which he assumed would be huge, except it wasn’t and so there was barely any international promo except for cpfw. He missed the boat and it’s not likely he will get such an opportunity again. He’s bitter about this and decided it’s the fans’ fault for boycotting and not liking his relationship.
