Pregnancy â Barry Allen x Reader
Characters: Barry Allen (The Flash), Reader (You).
Synopsis: You have been married to Barry for two years. One fine day, you start to feel a hunger worthy of a little speedster.
Warnings: Pregnancy, seasickness, pregnancy discovery
N / A: I did this imagine in 10 minutes. I watched a pregnancy movie with my cousin, and then we went to watch The Flash, she suggested the idea to me and I loved it. Hope you like it.
I'm a Latina girl who doesn't speak fluent English, so I want to apologize for any writing errors you find. Feel free to correct me.
MASTERLIST
The day had begun. The sun came through the window, causing you to curl up even more in the duvets.
You ran your hand over the bed, feeling the sheet to feel Allen's warm body. There was only an empty space, indicating that he had been awake for some time.
Your mind tried to sleep again, however, a sweet smell flooded his nostrils. You could have sworn it smelled like pancakes and condensed milk.
The sheets were set aside as his feet touched the ground. With delicate steps, you made your way to the kitchen, being guided by the wonderful smell. You had no intention of surprising Barry, as he could see everything happening in slow motion and could easily see you approaching.
Allen held a frying pan, trying to flip a pancake. On the kitchen counter was a stack of pancakes and two coffee cups of Jitters.
With a smile on your face, you approached your husband, placing your hand on the speedster's shoulder. Barry's face lit up, showing a sweet smile.
âGood morning.â
âGood morning, my dear.â
âWhat are you doing?â You ask.
âYou always make coffee, I decided to make it for you today.â Allen placed the last finished pancake on the plate, enjoying the view of what he had just prepared. âAre you hungry?â
âI think I could devour a whole cow.â Your stomach churned, complaining of hunger.
You usually didn't eat much, unlike your husband. Barry had to consume at least fifteen thousand calories daily, so he could stay upright and healthy. He literally ate all day and kept him body skinny.
Unlike you, who hardly felt hungry. You were the perfect couple. When you couldn't finish your snack, Allen was able to eat everything and still had plenty of room in his stomach. A few weeks ago, you began to feel extraordinarily hungry.
You ate almost the same amount of food as Barry. It seemed like you were a speedster, too. Her sense of smell could sense food being prepared in other rooms, as well as feeling terrible nausea and dizziness. You thought it was vitaminâs problem, and you bought some to make yourself feel better.
Within seconds, the breakfast table was fully set. Without much ceremony, you joined your husband to enjoy their morning meal.
âI could have sworn you have hypermetabolism too.â He joked when he saw you steal a pancake from him after eating yours.
âI don't know what happened. It feels like I'm eating for an army.â You verbalized, picking up the dishes to wash them. As soon as your hand placed the last glass in the sink, a horrible sensation gripped your entire body. You ran to the bathroom, feeling a terrible urge to vomit. Your body leaned over the toilet as the breakfast was poured out.
In less than a second, Barry appeared at your side, his face full of concern. One hand held your hair, while the other smoothed your back.
 âAre you okay?â
âI am. I think I ate more than my stomach can handle.â
âLet Caitlin examine you.â
âI told you I'm fine, dear.â You got up with Barry's help. Along the way, you felt your vision darken and your body vibrate, as if you were a speedster. âI think going to see Caitlin is a good idea.â
 (âŠ)
âI have two new features.â Caitlin said, as soon as she finished examining your blood. âA good one and a bad one, depending on one's point of view.â
âWhat's the good news?â Barry asked. Cisco, Joe, Barry, and you were waiting in the exam room. Caitlin held a sheet of paper with the results of your exams.
âYou're pregnant.â
Your world spun. Your chest collapsed with happiness. A year ago, you and Barry were planning to have a child, but you never had any luck.
Allen took your hand. The speedster's face was flooded with a smile. Everyone in the room was happy with the news of yet another person being added to Team Flash.
âAnd what's the bad news?â You asked.
âVery well.â She seemed to be looking for the right words. âI did an ultrasound, and it looks like the baby's heart has stopped.â
âYou mean he's dead?â
Everyone in the room asked at once. Tears had already appeared in your eyes, you had barely gotten used to the idea of being a mother, and your little Allen was no longer with you.
âTheoretically, yes.â
âExplain it properly.â You demanded.
âWhen Barry was struck by lightning, his heart stopped several times. Doctors believed he had died because the machines couldn't record his heartbeat.â She explained. âBut his heart had never stopped, what happened is that he was so fast that not even the machines could keep up.â
âSo your theory is that the baby is like Barry?â Cisco chimed in. His face was in an expression it was always when he was thinking. âMy God, that completely explains your extraordinary hunger and why you started vibrating like a speedster.â
âOur son is also fast.â Allen said, grinning from ear to ear. He deposited a beak on your lips, still holding your hand.
 Ten years laterâŠ
You've finished setting the lunch table. The dish of the day was pasta with broccoli and cheese. Benjamin Allen's favorite meal.
After putting the last dish on the table, you called your child. Benjamin quickly descended using his powers.
The wind caused by your little one's speed left one of the glasses on the table unbalanced. Before Ben had a chance to catch him, another speedster came in front of him. Barry put the glass right where it was before, and went to meet him.
The brunette wrapped his arms around his body and pressed a sweet kiss to her neck. A laugh escaped his throat as he saw his son utter an exclamation of disgust.
âPlease, your son is here watching you be completely disgusting. Ben said, sitting in the chair.
Benjamin has the same hair color as yours, but he had the same green eyes as his father. Everyone who saw him always said the same thing, that he was a faithful copy of Barry Allen.
He and your husband were the guardians of Central City. The little one has not yet obtained all of his father's abilities, but he has the super speed and the ability to vibrate his body and molecules.
In the middle of lunch, you smiled when you saw the size of your child's plate, which was three times larger than yours. That scene reminded him of something.
âBen, would you like to hear the story of the day I found out I was pregnant?â

New Year's Eve Kisses 2024
Note: It is once again that magic time of year. As is tradition around these parts, I have written five drabbles of characters from different fandoms to celebrate the New Year, specifically, the tradition where people kiss the one they love as midnight strikes. Sorry Iâve been so inactive as of late. Iâve been working on some big things in the writing sphere (as far as my original fiction is concerned anyway), but I hope you all enjoyed the two big fics I did post this year. May the new year smile on all of you, and may your reading and writing endeavors be fruitful. Love ya!
For additional context, Poeâs is a continuation of I Know the End, my big Star Wars fic from earlier this year. You donât need to read it to enjoy this, but if youâre confused, thatâs why. A little gendered language in that one (Princess and such) but the other four are gender neutral.
Fandoms: Wicked (Movie), Star Wars, DCEU (rip, she will be missed), DC CW Universe, Bridgerton (Show)
Total Word Count: 4.2k words
Warnings: Alcohol consumption, kissinâ, some language
Fiyero Tigelaar
Words: 0.6k
Fiyero Tigelaar, the Winkie prince, was no stranger to a party. Unsurprisingly, he was tearing up the dance floor, dressed in his finest, just before he was meant to be sent off to his next school. When heâd arrived, heâd warned you he wouldnât last long. Heâd been right. He was going to Shiz University. But tonight, he intended to make the most of it.
As always, he had a flock of followers around him, fawning at his every move. You smirked into your glass, trying to avert your eyes. He didnât need any more attention.
That, of course, didnât stop him from coming over to you with that intoxicating look in his eye. The guy was charming, you had to give him that.
âAnd what are you doing over here?â He asked, leaning against the bar where you were perched.
âCelebrating the New Year, Your Highness.â
He grinned. âWhat, all alone?â
âIâm here, arenât I?â
âYou should be out there. On the floor. Dancing.â He said, motioning to the others, still lost in the rhythm of the song.
âSeems a little crowded.â You reasoned, smirking. âDonât you have enough cronies?â
âI could use another.â He all but murmured, the tone of his voice making your heart shudder. âBesides, itâs my last night. I feel like I didnât get to know you well enough.â
âWell, you did warn me not to get attached.â
He hummed at that, nodding. Still, he offered his hand and you hesitated for a long time before finally taking it. One final leap. It wouldnât matter, in the long run. He was transferring schools, and you doubted youâd ever see him again. But you were kind of glad your paths had crossed.
And so you danced and danced and danced, twirling and laughing, not just with him, but with the others there, gathered on the dance floor while the Animal band played you off into the new year.
Then, at the end of the night, just before he could slip out unnoticed, you caught Fiyero leaving.
âLeaving so soon?â
âTold you not to get attached.â He said quietly, going through his satchel, that wry grin returning to that impossibly handsome face. âCame to see me off?â
âDidnât mean to. I was making my escape, too.â
âAh, I see. Well, it sounds like youâre missing the countdown in there.â
âThat was kind of the point.â
He smirked. âCome here.â
âWhy?â
âI never properly thanked you for your help in class. Iâve been told Iâm quiteâŠâ
âYouâre not stupid. I know you pretend to be.â
âStill, I was forgetful. Careless. You covered for me.â He smiled softly. âThank you.â
Finally, you were right in front of him. He held something out. A token. A little, stitched seal from his home territory.
âI know itâs not much, but if you ever need anything, where Iâm from, this is enough to get it for you.â
âThank you, Fiyero. Thatâs really sweet.â You said softly.
âHappy New Year. Good luck with the rest of the year.â He said earnestly before that infamous smirk pulled at his lips again. âTry not to miss me too much.â
âNo promises.â You said with a chuckle.
Then, something inexplicable happened. Fiyero took a step forward and pressed a long, soft kiss to your forehead. It was meaningful. Unlike the countless times heâd made out with countless members of the student body. Men and women alike. And yet, at the same time, you knew you were just a stepping stone. Passing ships.
Still, as you watched him ride off, you were glad youâd met.
Poe Dameron
Words: 0.9k
On base, no celebration was taken for granted. With all the constant fighting and battles, loss and destruction, you needed to spend some time celebrating when things went right. And for so long, so many years of your life, that had been the case.
But the war was over now. You were back on your home planet, Mariposas, ringing in the first new year as the princess of your people. The first new full year of peace in the galaxy. You dressed in one of your nicer gowns from the first war. One the Ewoks had made for you. It was hand-dyed with materials from their home moon, Endor.
You did your hair, setting a tiara on top. There was a knock on the doorframe, and suddenly, your fiancé was standing there, fiddling with the sash of some traditional Mariposan garb. It was a new thing, as he was not Mariposan. Instead, he was human. Very human. Now, an all-but-retired human pilot. A war veteran, and the soon-to-be prince of your home planet.
âAlright, give it to me straight. I look ridiculous.â
âYou look handsome.â You reassured, walking closer, taking both of Poeâs hands in yours. Large and rough. Tan and calloused, both from the steering rod of his X-Wing as well as the blaster he fired for so many years. It hadnât seen action in quite some time, thankfully. Still, it remained at his hip, much like your lightsaber remained on yours. âPrincely, even.â
âYouâre just saying that.â
âIâm not.â You insisted, shaking your head, gazing up at him. Your eyes glimmered with love. âSince when do I lie to you, Commander Dameron?â
âHey, I thought we said no titles in private quarters, Your Highness.â He replied, lacing his fingers through your own, pulling one hand to his lips and beginning to kiss up your exposed arm. âYou really think it suits me? I donât want those dignitaries to laugh me out of the party.â
âI think everything suits you. But if youâre really that worried about it, Iâve still got that old flight suit of yours tucked into the back of the closet.â
He chuckled, shaking his head. âYou and that flight suitâŠâ
Rey cleared her throat. âReady?â
âYeah, weâre good. Heading down in a second. You look lovely, Rey.â
âThank you. So do you.â
âLooking sharp, Poe.â Finn agreed, following after her in his new and improved Jedi robes. Since heâd finally begun the last leg of his training, it only made sense that he looked the part. It suited him. It really, really suited him.
âRight back at ya, Finn.â Poe grinned, watching as your friends walked down the hall. He let go of your hands and offered his elbow instead. âWell, shall we?â
You looped your arm through his, following him down to the beginnings of your party. The ballroom was filled with people. Mostly, your war friends and allies. Leia was there, Lando, Wedge, Snap and the rest of Black Squadron, and of course, your sister and her husband and son. Finn, Rey, and Ben. They all chatted, mingling through the large, mostly reconstructed ballroom.
You and Poe melted into the crowd, catching up with the people you hadnât seen in forever, congratulating them on weddings and new babies, while all of them asked about yours, your planned wedding to one Mr. Poe Dameron, your fiancĂ© and the love of your life. Admittedly, wedding plans had taken the backseat in favor of building your home planet back up from the literal ashes, opening your doors to war refugees, victims of the First Order who now found themselves without homes. Many of them were now in the room with you, celebrating their new lives, however different they were from their old ones.
It was good. It felt right.
Finally, at the end of the night, after several glasses of Mariposan mead, Poe found his way back to you, grinning that tired, tipsy grin of his. His arms wrapped around your waist and he rested his forehead against yours.
âHeeeeey, Princess. There you are. You look stunning. You having fun?â
âDefinitely. Looks like you are, too.â
He nodded, smiling. He pressed a kiss to your forehead, pulling you closer. âWhenâre we getting married, baby? The people wanna know.â
âOh I know. Theyâve been asking me, too.â You chuckle. âIâm sorry itâs been relegated so far back. Itâs just been busy with the planet reconstruction and the new Jedi Temple andâŠâ
âNah, thatâs okay. I knew what I was getting when I proposed to a princess. Youâre a busy lady. I donât care when we get married so long as it happens. ButâŠI wouldnât mind soon.â
You smiled softly, nodding. âI think soon sounds good.â
The droids let you all know the new year was approaching and people gathered to count it down.
âI love you, Princess. Thank you. For all of it. For coming into my life. For winning the war. For saving me. For letting me hang out here on this awesome planet even though I am totally overstaying my welcome.â
âStoppppp.â You giggled, shaking your head. âThank you for waking me up. Without you, I literally would not be standing here.â
âAlright, well, if we keep thanking each other for every little thing, weâll be here all night and I donât know about you, but I have some more pressing plans for the evening.â
âLike what?â
âLike this,â he replied, pulling you closer and pressing his lips to yours, movements languid and loving as the party around you rang in a fresh new year, the war long gone, and the peacetimes just getting started.
Digger Harkness
Words: 0.9k
Holed up in a dingy bar while chaos ran rampant through Metropolis was not the way you thought your New Yearâs Eve would go. But being a member of the Justice LeagueâŠstranger things had happened.
You, alongside a group known as Taskforce X to some, the Suicide Squad to most, had just, more or less saved the world. But due to the disarray, their envoy hadnât yet been dispatched to pick them up. Hence the bar. And you, as the one trusted person that knew of their existence aside from Rick Flag and Bruce Wayne (because Bruce knows everything), were relegated to babysitting duty while Rick filed the paperwork. Standard stuff. Breakdowns of the battle, heroic acts by the group members, that kind of thing. Things that would reduce their prison sentences, in theory, if doing so many of these impossible missions didnât kill them first.
You perched on a barstool, chin rested against your fist as you watched the clock tick, listened to the sounds of the sirens in the distance as things calmed down. Crisis averted. Another Tuesday in Metropolis.
Boomerang scooted some rubble aside with his elbow, motioning to the stool beside yours. âAnyone sittinâ here?â
âNope. Knock yourself out.â You said, chuckling softly, shaking your head.
âAw, come on now, (L/N)! Why the long face? We saved the world, again.â He said, bumping his elbow against yours playfully. âItâs worth celebratinâ, ainât it?â
âDefinitely. Celebrate away.â You replied, managing a tired grin.
He hesitated, eyes scanning you. âYou feelinâ alright? Didnât use too much of that energy of yours kickinâ alien ass?â
Your smile grew and you shook your head. âNo. Sometimes, Boomer, Iâm just tired.â
He glanced at the clock, as the New Year neared, closer and closer every minute. âYou had plans, didnât you? Tonight?â
Bingo. âYeah, it wasnât anything major, justâŠa night in with some college friends. Watching the ball drop. Sipping cheap wine.â
He hummed, nodding. He glanced around the rundown bar, windows cracked in from the near-apocalypse that had just blown over. In the corner of the room, Deadshot and Killer Croc were tweaking the wiring of a slightly damaged TV. It flickered a few times and then, against all odds, the countdown came on.
âWell, there we go. Thereâs one down. Let me rummage around back here.â He walked around the side of the bar and dug through the supplies before pulling out a bottle of sweet, cheap wine. One of the brands you liked. He pulled out the least damaged wine glasses he could find and poured you each a glass, sliding one across the bartop to you.
âYou donât have to do this, you know.â You said, trying to fight the smile on your face. Trying to keep your wall up. You were a hero. He was a criminal. A diamond thief. Your antithesis. And yetâŠhis charms had been chipping away at the barrier around your heart since you first met. Even moreso since youâd been fighting on the same team.
He shook his head. âYou deserve a nice New Yearâs. Shouldnât have to give it up to hang out with lowlifes like us.â
You wanted to retort, but you didnât, instead sipping your wine as the anchors on the TV talked about the disaster in Metropolis, how this New Yearâs Eve had very nearly been the last. âWell thank you anyway. Youâre not bad company.â
He huffed at that, looking unconvinced.
âI mean it. IâŠdonât know what I expected when I signed up for this, butâŠit wasnât you guys. I thought you would all kinda hate me. Itâs nice to be tolerated, though.â
âAnd I thought you were gonna be some prissy buzzkill that looked at us like we wereâŠâ He shook his head, not finishing the thought. âBut youâre not.â
You were quiet for a moment. âThank you.â
âI already told you, this is nothinâââ
âNot for the wine. For earlier. You took a pretty bad blast for me. Blocked me so I could take the final shot. You saved the world.â
âYou saved the world. I just gave ya a boost, love.â He murmured into his wine glass. The word curled around his tongue gently. Youâd never heard him use it before. Not directed at you.
âYou saved me.â You insisted, meeting his gaze.
His eyes softened. âI did my best.â
You reached over, gently taking his hand, like you were approaching a wild animal. He flinched, but his rough fingers curled around yours, giving your hand a squeeze.
âYou have a resolution?â You asked.
âYeah.â
âWhat is it.â
âCanât tell ya or it wonât come true.â He replied, grinning.
âThatâs birthday wishes. Not New Yearâs Resolutions.â
He looked conflicted for a moment before saying. âNah, it really wonât come true if I tell ya.â
âWhyâs that?â You asked as Harley began to loudly count down from ten in the corner of the room.
âItâs so unrealistic, is all.â He explained with a shrug, eyes searching yours as the seconds melted away until finally, midnight struck and the others yelled out, celebrating the new year.
âLet me be the judge of that.â You murmured, leaning forward and capturing his lips.
He gasped into your mouth, squeezing your hand as he kissed you. His surprise evaporated into something much more solid and real. You could tell heâd been waiting for it just as long as you had. Maybe longer.
When it was over, he rested his forehead against yours. âI still have to go back to Belle Reve.â
âI know.â
âButâŠyouâll come visit?â
You chuckled, giving a wry grin. âIâll see what I can do.â
Cisco Ramon
Words: 0.7k
A cute, sparkly New Yearâs Eve fit? Check. More alcohol than any human could reasonably consume? Check. A metahuman headache from hell? Also, check. Unfortunately. After sending out a few texts, cancelling your plans, you gathered a stack of DVDs, some fuzzy pajamas, a pile of blankets, some tea, and some painkillers.
You let out a sigh, taking in your surroundings. Sure, you were cozy, but you really had been looking forward to spending time with your Star Labs coworkers. Theyâd welcomed you to Team Flash without so much as a hesitation, especially once they found out about your powers. They were some of the only people that understood you. Over the last few years, they had become everything to you.
Caitlyn sent you a text telling you to feel better, as did Barry. Nothing from Cisco. You expected him to send a Tiktok or something to cheer you up, but you didnât beat yourself up over it. You were sure they were all out having fun at a karaoke club or something.
Until there was a knock on the door.
Eyebrows furrowing, you stood up and walked to answer it, pulling it open. Cisco was standing there, holding a pizza box, a scarf wrapped around his neck, snowflakes caught in his long black hair.
âPizza Delivery for a (Y/N) (L/N)?â He asked, looking you up and down. âIs that you?â
âThanks, Cisco.â
âDonât mention it.â He grinned, stepping through your front door and kicking the snow off his boots before taking them off in the doorway and setting them down on your shoe shelf, as he had so many times.
âWhatcha doing? Donât you have plans?â
âI did. And then one of my friends got a wicked headache from their awesome superpowers, soâŠplans changed. What are we watching?â
âUhh, Howlâs Moving Castle right now. I was gonna switch to the countdown after, though.â
âOoh, Howlâs! Classic. I got your usual. With that cream cheese dip you like. And, I stopped at the pharmacy on the corner and got you migraine meds.â
You smiled at that, heart swelling as he said it. âCiscoâŠâ
âWhat?â He asked, taking off his coat and tossing you the bottle of pills. You caught them, reading the label on the bottle.
âYou really didnât have to do this.â
âUhhhhh, yeah I did.â He shrugged, plopping himself down on the couch, setting the pizza on the coffee table, gently moving your mug aside. âCome on. Settle in. This castle isnât gonna move itself.â
âActually, it kinda does. Thatâs the whole point.â You chuckled, settling into the spot next to him, leg brushing his.
The two of you watched the end of the movie and your migraine meds started to kick in. You felt a lot better. Still, as you flipped the channel to the New Yearâs Eve countdown, where some singer was on stage. You got up and carried the leftover pizza to the fridge, fetching a bottle of the beer Cisco liked, which you always kept stockedâŠjust in case.
When you returned, he grinned, looking at the bottle. âSee, you take care of everyone else. Itâs about time someone took care of you.â
âYeah, yeah, just drink it.â You chuckled, settling back in, sitting even closer to him this time, his arm perched on the back of the couch. One thing led to another, and somehow, your head wound up on his shoulder and his arm wound up around yours.
You sat in comfortable silence as the show played on, making comments and jokes every here and there. You laughed a lot. You always seemed to when he was around. Then, finally, they started counting down.
âHey, uhâŠâ Cisco started. âThis is totally not the reason I came here, butâŠumâŠwould it be alright with you if IâŠâ
You smiled, lifting your head from his shoulder and turning to look at him, impossibly close. His warm brown eyes searched your features for any sign of hesitation. Of rejection. Instead, you reached up to touch his face, pulling him in for a kiss before the ball even reached the bottom.
He smiled against you, leaning into the kiss. You could tell heâd been wanting this. Waiting for it.
And when it was over, a few minutes after midnight, if you were honest, he rested his forehead against yours for a moment before pulling you back against his chest. âIâm glad I came. Best New Yearâs Ever.â
âIâm glad you did, too. And if you wantâŠI, uhâŠIâd like to keep kissing you. Into the new year.â
He grinned. âFuck yeah.â

The Queen was no stranger to a good party. She loved the drama, the intrigue, the young love blossoming all around her. Which was why it was no surprise to you when invitations to a grand New Yearâs Eve Ball arrived in the post. All of London was buzzing with speculation of who would wear what, who would dance with whom, and most of all, if the infamous Lady Whistledown would be in attendance, hashing out all of the details in a special holiday edition of her newsletter.
You, for one, couldnât wait to find out.
As the evening unfolded, you mingled a bit. Reconnected with old friends you hadnât seen in months, since the majority of the Ton had retreated to their country estates for the colder months. You watched as the Bridgerton brothers controlled the room. Every eligible lady and then some had their eye on them, much, it would seem, to Benedictâs dismay.
Meanwhile, you turned your attention to Penelope, who stood at the corner of the room. Listening. Watching. She was good at that, it seemed.
âHey, Pen. You look lovely this evening.â
Her cheeks flushed pink at the sudden attention. So used to being invisible, it was hard, being seen. âThank you. You look g-great as well, (Y/N).â
You smiled. âThanks.â
The silence grew in the space between you. Like weeds in the pavement.
âI canât believe itâs the end of another one. I feel itâs gone so fast. These last months, especially.â You said.
She nodded. âYes, since October, itâs been quite the blur. Any prospects?â
You laughed. âNone. Yourself?â
âOh, no. It does surprise me, though. That you donât have any.â
âHavenât been social enough, I suppose. Mother keeps trying to drag me to parties, but Iâm completely content at home with a good book and a glass of wine.â
âThe solitude is nice. Gives one time to think.â Penelope said quietly, looking around the room. âAlthough, I donât mind a party.â
You raised an eyebrow at that. âReally?â
âNot in the slightest. I think theyâre quite fun. I like people watching. Listening to the drama. Mr. Silver over there, for example, just spilled champagne all over his wifeâs new silk gown. Mr. and Mrs. Rose married in a hurry, but seem to be on rocky ground, despite seemingly being a love match.â
âLust match, is more like it.â
Penelope laughed at that, nodding in agreement, making a mental note to use that for later.
âI guess Iâve never seen it like that. Iâd been so focused on my own loneliness at these things that I never realized there was so much going on.â
âWell, if you ever do find yourself alone and unhappy, we can be alone together, if youâd like.â She offered, eyes sparkling with sincerity. And perhaps something more, though you couldnât be sure.
You smiled, nodding. âIâd like that.â
As midnight approached, you wandered out onto the terrace, snow falling from the starlit sky. It was cold out, but you didnât mind. It had been getting rather warm inside, what with the roaring fireplaces and the room full of people. It was quiet. Not to mention gorgeous.
You took a long moment to think. Penelope Featherington. Penelope. Someone youâd been friends with for so long. Someone who, youâd thought until tonight, had never carried anything but friendship in her heart for youâŠnow, you werenât so sure. For the first time, youâd seen something more in those wide, gorgeous eyes of hers.
Your next breath floated off into the sky, a puff of steam in the cold winter air.
âYouâll catch your death out here.â A voice said, the door to the terrace opening. It was Penelope, dressed in her cloak, clearly getting ready to make her escape.
âWhere are you going?â
âHome. It is nearing the stroke of twelve and I wish to get home and rest.â She said. âWhy are you out here?â
âI was getting warm in there.â You confess, though now, youâre trembling.
âArenât you hoping someone might kiss you when the clock strikes twelve?â She asked softly. âThere are plenty of options roaming the floor, on the search for their victims.â
âThat would be the other reason I am out here, then. I have no desire to have my lipsâŠentangled with some of those bachelors. I have never had a New Yearâs Eve kiss, none of them will be my first.â
âNeither have I.â She confessed, footsteps crunching softly in the snow. âA New Yearâs Eve kiss, orâŠany other.â
âI could kiss you.â You blurted suddenly. âIf you like. If notâŠforget I everââ
âYou would?â She asked, almost too quickly. Silence hung between the two of you, as thick and sparkling as the snow.
You stepped closer, footsteps crunching impossibly loudly as the murmurs of the party drifted up into the cold winter air. Vaguely, you could hear them counting. But it didnât matter. All that mattered was you and her. âI would. If you want.â
âI would like that very much.â She whispered as you finally stood in front of her.
Slowly, gently, you leaned forward, a tender hand touching her face. Her breath hitched, eyes flicking from one of yours to the other before finally landing on your lips, just as you closed the distance between the two of you. It was sweet. It was slow. It was everything you expected it to be and more. Her floral scent drifted through your nostrils, that intoxicating scent that reminded you of spring, even in the dead of winter.
When you pulled apart, you brushed the vibrant red hairs from her forehead before pressing another kiss there, as well. âHappy New Year, Penelope. Thank you, for letting me get a head start on my resolution.â
She smiled softly, gazing at you. âTo kiss as many eligible women of the Ton as you can?â
âNo, to kiss you.â
And as soon as those words left your lips, you soon found hers on them againâŠ

Part 2
A/N: Smutty smut smut. Itâs only my second time doing this, so hope itâs okay. Just had a good idea, and thereâs probably going to be a part two, where they have to deal with it if you want it? Also, there are two types of beginnings to it. One where Reader is already drunk and Harry finds her, and one where they get drunk together! Have fun!Â
Also, unprotected sex is a no-no, bad idea, donât condone it!
Also GIF's aren't mine!
Reader already drunk beginning:
The past few days had been tough for you. The metas Alchemy was creating kept showing up everywhere, the metas already created by the particle accelerator explosion seemed to try to keep up with Alchemy's.Â
Captain Singh wasnât making it easy at the precinct. He had benched you because of the lack of sleep and focus you were having, you were acting out over the smallest things. So naturally you had needed some time away from everything. Away from home, away from work, and away from people.Â
The team had gone home for the day a few hours ago, and you had made your way to the lounge area of S.T.A.R. labs and the fridge you knew had beers in it. You didnât quite keep to the beers, you had also managed to find a flask of whiskey and tequila.Â
By now you had gotten quite the buzz going, the music was playing from the speakers as you downed yet another shot of tequila. The liquor burned its way down your throat and you scrunched up your nose before biting into a piece of lime and shaking your head at it.Â
âWhooo, I should do this more often,â You laughed to yourself. You had always been the type of drunk person who would end up being a happy-go-lucky kind of person.Â
âY/N, what are you doing?â A rasped voice pulled you away from your endeavor. You couldnât help but smile at the sight in front of you. Harrison Wells with his black jumper and slick black jeans. His dark hair was slightly ruffled with a few strands sticking out to the sides. His expression was stern yet with a glimpse of amusement.Â
âHarryyyyyy, hiii!â You slightly yelled out over the music. âWhat does it look like Iâm doing though?â You questioned him back with a grin on your face as you took a swig of your whiskey. You didnât wait for his answer as you continued. âIâm having my own little party, and quite honestly Iâm having the absolute best time!â You lifted your glass in your hand and made your way over to Harry swaying ever so lightly on your way.Â
âDonât you think youâve had enough?â He looked at you with a little bit of concern in his eyes as he gripped onto your arms to keep you standing upright and not tumbling over. Your hands wound up on his as you realized which kind of muscles he was hiding under that jumper. You squinted your eyes at him and began to make a pout with your lips. It didnât last long before your lips turned upwards and your eyes were filled with enjoyment and carefreeness.Â
âActually I donât think so, and you mister,â You said as you poked Harry in the chest hard enough for him to be swayed a bit backward. âWonât take my fun away,â You finished before breaking out into a full laugh. Harry chuckled at you and your behavior.Â
âActually come to think of it, you should join my fun!â Your lips turned into a smirk as you went to get a glass of whiskey for Harry. âWe deserve a bit of fun and downtime,â You said momentarily your voice was laced with seriousness.Â
âIâm not sure thatâs a good idea,â He chuckled with his beautiful smile ever so lightly creating his dimples. âSomebody has to make sure youâre okay,â He continued as he gestured with his hand to you.Â
âYou donât have to worry about me, Iâm fantastic,â You answered as you went over to him with the glass of whiskey in your hand. âHere, drink up my friend!â You spoke attempting to sound serious, just to have your smile betray you. Harry took the glass from you and took a swig of it causing you to smile even wider.Â
âSo youâre in?â You questioned with a small expectant giggle at the end of it.Â
âIâm in,â He says with a wink and a smirk at you, rendering your knees to go soft on you. He takes another swig of the whiskey emptying the glass. He handed it over to you and you gladly took it to get him a refill.Â
âWe need to get you up to speed with me,â You smiled mischievously at him. You sat down a shot glass in front of him and poured some tequila into it. âLet me borrow your hand,â You said as you held out your own. He does as you tell him and you lick at the back of his hand before pouring some salt on it. âSalt, shot, and lime,â You tell him. He looked at you, his mouth slightly agape. His eyes had darkened at the action you had made.
âEarth to Harry?â You asked as you waved your hand in front of his face, your own face confused with a cocked eyebrow. âYes?â He cleared his throat before speaking, followed by a big swallow causing his adams apple to bob.Â
âDid you hear anything of what I said?â You let out a laugh that came from the bottom of your stomach.Â
âRight, yes I did,â He licked the salt from his hand, took the shot, and bit into the lime. His face scrunched up by the taste of the liquor hitting the back of his throat. You made him take quite a lot more, you took some with him to keep your own high buzz going.Â
Reader and Harry getting drunk together:
You were walking into S.T.A.R. labs with the rest of the team. It had been a tough fight with the current metas roaming the streets of Central City. Alchemy was creating quite a lot on the way, and every damn meta in this town seemed to be out for blood.Â
You threw your backpack on the floor beside the central console of the cortex. You flopped down on a chair in front of the computer, taking your guns out of your holsters and putting them down on the table.Â
âI swear Y/N, if one of those goes off on my computer, youâd wish hell was freezing over,â Cisco pointed at you.Â
âOh relax Cisco, the safety is on,â You say as you look at them, realizing that you might have forgotten that in the heat of the moment, or maybe more in the tiredness of the moment. âOr now it is at least,â You mumbled to yourself.Â
âWhat was that?â Cisco asked his eyes squinting at you. âNothing!â You laughed it off, knowing he would in fact kill you if you ruined his computers.Â
âThatâs what I thought,â He laughed back at you.Â
âYou do know he means it right?â Harry spoke with a serious face as he sat down beside you. You looked over at him with amusement in your eyes.Â
âIs Harrison Wells afraid of what Cisco might do?â You joked. You thought you were funny, but looking at Harryâs face you thought differently. His eyes were hard as he looked at you. It felt like he was looking right through you. You swallowed thickly at the hard glare he was giving you.
âIâm not afraid of Ramon,â His voice was hoarse and low but laced with a hint of worry. Ciscoâs computers and satellites were his everything, and having seen it be blown up a few times, both you and Harry knew he would hurt whoever hurt his tech.Â
âWell, weâre going home for the day,â Barry and Iris smiled as she spoke. âIâm more than ready to go home and get some sleep. Weâll see you all tomorrow,â She continued and waved at everyone. So did Barry as they left the building.Â
âIâm going to follow them. Cisco can you drive me home?â Caitlin asked her friend. Caitlin had had a rough time lately, she didnât talk much about it, but you knew she would when she was ready for it.Â
âAre you coming along too, Y/N?â Cisco asked grabbing his jacket from the console in front of you.Â
âNah, Iâll stay here for a while. Iâm gonna see what it is weâre missing with Alchemy and all these new metas that are popping up. Thanks for asking though!â You smiled and gave a thumbs up to let him know you meant it.Â
âDonât you think it would be a good idea to go home and rest?â Harry asked beside you with a soft smile. You loved to see him smile, even more because it wasnât so often he did.Â
âNo, really itâs all good. I want to be here, no need to go home to an empty apartment anyway,â You spoke as you looked away from him and back to the computers in front of you.Â
Harry nodded at you and walked away, probably to go work on his own Alchemy project. You started to type away, going through every piece of evidence you had on Alchemy.Â
You rubbed your eyes and looked at the clock. It felt like you had been sitting with it for hours, but there had only been 40 minutes. Realizing that you werenât going to get much done you walked to the lounge, grabbing two glasses and pouring some whiskey into them.
Turning the corner into Harryâs lab you saw him looking at the clear board with equations on it, his white marker in his hand. You had been right when you thought he would be working. You knocked at the entrance causing him to turn around and look at you.Â
âWhat?â He asks gruffly and you raise the two glasses of whiskey in your hands.Â
âWanna have a drink with me?â You asked politely entering his workshop.Â
âUh, sure,â His answer was short but held a lot of meaning. He never stopped working, so his saying yes was a win for you. âAny particular reason?â He questioned as you handed him one of the glasses.Â
âCanât we just enjoy a drink without there has to be a reason for it?â You asked cockily with raised eyebrows. It earned you a small laugh from the Earth-Two scientist. You looked at him surprised at his response to it. âMaybe we should do it more often if it earns laughs from you,â You jokingly continued.Â
âDonât count on it,â He replied deeply, though there was still a small smile hiding behind the glass. You raised your glass to him and took a sip of the liquor. The burning sensation was welcoming in your throat. The small interaction you and Harry had was nice. Your life had been a mess lately so when you had emptied your glasses, you had stayed with Harry while he went back to work. Â
âAre you just going to sit there for the rest of the night?â He asked looking over his shoulder and back at you.Â
âWell actually Iâd say yes, but then I thought we could also decide to have our way of resting,â You smiled at him as you took your feet down from his desk and turned all the way towards him. His features looked questioningly at the statement you had made. âWe could go drink some more whiskey. Pretty sure we both could need some time away from Alchemy?â The last part you said as a question as you waited for his response.Â
âAnd why would you think that?â Harryâs usual hard look and closed-offness showed.Â
âBecause Harry, you have been staring at the same equation for the past hour and gotten nowhere,â You told him gesturing to the board in front of him. His stare felt like it could shoot daggers at you for having said that, but you knew he was agreeing with you when a small nod came in your direction. âCool, letâs go then,â You said snapping your fingers in the direction of the lounge you had picked up the whiskey in before.Â
A few whiskeys in you were both talking a lot more loosly about what was troubling you. As Harry, you werenât one who cared much for sharing too many feelings or problems. They were your own, and yours to deal with.Â
âI could have sworn you had just decided to spend most of your time here, just like Barry usually does now,â Harry stated as he looked slightly surprised at you for your confession.Â
âNope, Captain Singh asked me, or more made me, stay home and take care of myself. He sent my ass home, and I canât just sit at home doing nothing, so here I am,â You threw your arms out to the side as you took a small bow in the chair.Â
It earned you one of the rare laughs from Harry. Either it was the alcohol talking or maybe Harry was actually enjoying himself a little. You decided to go with the latter, making it so much easier to just smile and forget things for a while.Â
You stood up to grab the flask of whiskey, only to realize it was empty. You looked through the cupboards to see if you could find something else. A devilish smile crept on your lips as you grabbed the flask and stood up. âHarry!â You yelled out. His body shot towards you at your sudden outburst. âI have found something better than whiskey,â You smiled from ear to ear shaking the tequila bottle in your hand. âWe are so going to take some tequila shots!â You laughed out loud at the expression on Harryâs face.Â
âNo, we are most certainly not,â He replied coldly as he stood up and started to leave, and you knew how you could make him stay.Â
âHarry, itâs a task, and you solve tasks right?â He stopped dead in his tracks and you could almost imagine the expression on his face and that joyed you even more. You knew you had won.Â
âFine!â He exclaimed and turned back to you, a few large strides and he was on the other side of the island.Â
âDo you know how to?â You asked hesitantly not knowing how much drinking he had done on Earth-Two and in his younger days. âDid you just ask me if I know how to do tequila shots? How old do you think I am?â He said slightly annoyed before he broke out a dimple-filled smile. You broke out into a real fit of laughter before answering him.Â
âIâm so sorry Harry, that sounded terrible,â Leaning forwards on the table in front of you, you half smacked yourself in the head when you put it into your hand.Â
âCâmon, pour it Y/L/N!â He chuckled as he pushed the shot glass over in your direction. You found the salt and cut out the limes you had found in the fridge. You werenât quite sure why the team even had this here, but you werenât about to be mad at it.Â
You clinked your glasses together before shooting it down. You both shook your heads and looked at each other, smiles spreading as you continued to pour tequila into your glasses.
âRight, letâs see,â You say with an idea in your head. You licked your own hand as you put it to your neck, you leaned your neck to the side as you drizzled salt on it and the lime in your hand. âLetâs go, Harrison,â You smiled playfully at him, his eyes glistening with just as much playfulness.Â
He stepped close to you, your chests touching each other, his hands on your hips. You leaned your head to the side giving him access to lick the salt off of you. His tongue was warm to your skin sending shivers down your spine. You had to bite your lip to stifle a moan from escaping your lips. He stayed at your neck a little longer than he needed to and kissed you on the neck as his face left your neck. Downing the shot you had poured him, he looked for the lime and you smiled brightly with it between your teeth.Â
It didnât take long for Harry to catch on to what you wanted. A smirk danced across his lips before crashing them to yours to bite the lime. His lips were soft on yours. He tasted of a mix of tequila, lime, and whiskey. You spat out the lime before going back to kissing him. Your arms snaked around his neck drawing him closer to you. He gladly accepted and deepened the kiss. His tongue slid across your lower lip and you quickly granted him access.Â
Your tongue felt like it fit perfectly with his as they danced and explored together. The kiss was filled with need, a hunger, for each other. Damn his an amazing kisser, you thought to yourself as you got completely lost in his intoxicating kiss. You broke apart after a few minutes needing to catch your breaths.Â
His crystal blue eyes looked into yours, they were darker than usual, filled with arousal. Your chest was heaving for breaths and Harry pulled away from you. You whined as you lost the heat from his warm body.Â
âIâm sorry,â He spoke lowly as he started to pull completely away from you. You grabbed the jumper in your hands and pulled him towards you. âHarry shut up and kiss me again,â You ordered your own eyes filled with lust. It didnât take long for him to oblige to your command, his hands roaming your entire body.Â
He pushed you backward till you reached the countertop and boxed you in between his body and the table. Your fingers tangled themselves in his dark locks as you pulled lightly at them. A hum escaped his throat as he kissed his way down from your jaw to your ear nibbling lightly at your earlobe before moving down to your neck.Â
His kisses left your skin on fire. A burning sensation was starting to grow in your stomach and between your legs. You wanted him. You needed him.Â
âHarry,â You whimpered in response to his kisses, licks and sucks. He was sure to leave marks on you. His hand moved in between your legs cubbing the outsides of your cunt, grinding at it with his hand.Â
Several moans left your throat involuntarily. You couldnât help it, this man was doing so much to you. He was humming in response to your moans. His lips went back to yours. You could feel the grin on his lips as he kissed you.Â
His hands grabbed around your thighs hoisting you to sit on the countertop, keeping your legs spread to make space for him in between. You locked your legs around his waist pulling him as close to you as you could.
He grinded against you and you met his grinds with your own. You could feel his arousal, rock hard and ready for you. A groan left Harryâs lips at your movements and a smirk appeared on your lips. This time it was you breaking the kiss to make it to his neck leaving open-mouthed kisses. As you bit slightly into his skin, an animalistic groan left his throat, as you left a mark on him.Â
âEither you stop and we go to my room, or continue and Iâll take you right here,â His voice was low and lust-filled as he spoke. The words hit you as you leaned in to whisper in his ear.Â
âOh Iâm not nearly done, Harrison Wells,â you mused his name and it seemed to have the effect you wanted it to. Harry gripped your hips tightly and pulled you closer to him as his lips crashed with yours. The kiss was filled with need as you were both losing control of yourselves.Â
One of his hands traced under your shirt and up to your breast and grabbed it. Your body ached for him as your chest shot forward at the feeling of his fingers pinching your nipple. His hand let go of your breast only to discard the clothing in front of it. He kissed down your neck and down to your chest and sucked lightly at your nipple as his other hand traced up your thigh toward your wet spot.Â
âOh god, Harry,â You moaned out at the heat pooling inside of you.Â
âMmh, what?â He looked down at you with a big smirk on his lips, his normally blue eyes almost completely dark from lust. âI didnât tell you to stop,â You looked up at him whining. âBut now weâre at it, you have too many clothes on,â You smiled innocently up at him as your hands glided toward the hem of his jumper. He chuckled deeply before lifting his arms up to discard his jumper.Â
Your mouth fell open as your eyes roamed his torso. His chiseled muscles showed as he flexed a little under your stare. Clothes did him dirty.Â
âMy eyes are up here Y/N,â He pulled you from your trance. Your cheeks flushed as you looked down shyly. His fingers went under your chin to make you look up at him. âLike what you see?â He muses with amusement.
âI mean, have you looked yourself in the mirror?â You spoke as your eyes darted down to his chest again. Your tongue darted over your lips as you took all of him in again. âHow can I not like what I see?â You continued your own eyes darkening more.Â
Your legs tugged him into you again as your lips met his again. You were fighting for dominance, pouring every feeling of lust and need into the kiss. Your fingers were digging into his skin at his shoulders.Â
Harry pulled you down from the countertop, unbuttoning your jeans, not once breaking the kiss. You shimmied out of your jeans and panties and stood completely nude in front of him. This time it was Harryâs turn to get tranced, licking his lips.Â
âMy eyes are up here, Harrison,â You mused the same response he had had to your staring. His laugh filled the lounge as his hands found your hips again. âWhat? No smart comment?â You chuckled. âNope, not this time. You look beautiful,â His smile was genuine, his eyes had gone soft again, and you felt your cheeks burning from his admiration. He leaned down to kiss you. The kiss was different from the others, this was more caring and more emotional.Â
Your hands went to his shoulders moving down his chest. He flexed under your touch and deepened the kiss again as your hands found the button on his jeans. It didnât take long for him to discard them.Â
Your eyes couldnât help but dart down to his erection. He sure did hide a lot under those clothes; because holy hell he was well-equipped. The burning desire inside of you took over as you went down to your knees and looked up at him through your lashes.Â
A smirk playing at your lips as you licked from the base of his cock and up to the tip. A deep rumble came from Harryâs chest as his eyes closed shut and his head leaned back. Your tongue swirled around the tip, licking off the precum before taking his cock into your mouth. You bobbed your head in rhythm with your hand at the base. Your tongue swirled around the tip every time you came back up, before taking as much as you could of him in again.Â
âY/N,â Harry moaned out. âFuck, it feels so good,â his breathing became more panting as he took every bit of pleasure you were giving him. You could feel him tense under your touch and you bobbed your head a little faster, drawing him closer to his release.Â
He took in a sharp breath as he pulled away from you.Â
âHarry, why did you do that? I almost had you,â You looked up at him while pouting.Â
âBecause when I cum I want to be in you,â He took hold of your hand helping you up and he instantly pushed you back to the countertop. His lips find yours again, his hands on your hips, lifting you back up to sit. His head moved down your chest, down to your stomach, leaving open-mouthed kisses on his way.Â
Your own breathing became quicker at the thought of what he was about to do. Your hand tangled itself in his hair as he kissed the inner side of your thigh. The feeling of his mouth leaving shivers going up and down your body. Moans escaped your lips as he moved closer to your cunt.Â
âMmh, youâre so wet for me,â He breathed as his tongue licked through your folds, leaving a fire burning inside of you. His tongue flicked over your bundle of nerves. The pleasure coursing through your veins, the feeling of heat pooling in your stomach, alarming you that you were close.Â
âHarry, Iâm-,â You choked out, one hand gripping the countertop so tightly your knuckles were going white.Â
âCum for me, princess,â Harry focused more on your clit and it didnât take long before you were coming undone for him. He lapped all of your orgasm before coming back up to your head and giving you a chaste kiss.Â
âWell you certainly know what youâre doing,â You breathed heavily coming down from your high, a proud smirk played on Harryâs lips. Your hands reached around his neck and you pulled him close to you. Your kiss wasnât chaste in any way, it was lust-filled and hard. You could taste your own orgasm on his wet lips. One of your legs wrapped around his body, pulling him even closer to you. âI need you Harry,â You begged him. You needed him inside of you. You were hungry for him. All of him.Â
Harry aligned himself at your entrance and slowly pushed inside of you. Moans escaped both of your lips as he let you adjust to him. He slowly started thrusting into you. Controlled, slow moves were dragging out the pleasure already building in you.Â
âFuck, you feel so good around me. So perfect,â He breathes into the base of your neck. One of your hands was holding onto his shoulder and the other clawing at his back.Â
âHarry, I- I wonât last long,â You were moaning and panting under him.Â
âNeither will I,â He groans out, his thrusts becoming quicker and sloppier. Your orgasm builds up quickly in you. Leaving you screaming out his name as you draw closer and closer. A few more quick and hard thrusts leave you both coming down and hard.Â
He stayed with his head dipped into the crook of your neck, your hand started drawing circles at his back. He draws back from you and pulls out of you. His dark hair was messy from sweat and your hands, and you only saw the most handsome man you had ever seen.Â
A big goofy smile played on your lips and you couldnât tear your eyes away from him, as your breathing was slowing down again.Â
âWhat?â He smiled and shifted a little on his feet as his cheeks turned a shade of pink.Â
âOh, nothing, youâre just very handsome,â You spoke looking him deeply in his eyes. He leaned in to give you another kiss. He broke apart from you, but you continued to peck his lips in between words. âAlso. You. Just. Rocked. My. World,â Your hands were cupping his face as you held onto him.Â
âWell, why donât we go rock it some more,â He returned your goofy smile with a wink as he dragged you with him to his room.Â
Your eyes slowly started to flutter open and you groaned out at the bright light hitting your face. You rubbed your eyes with one hand as you felt the hangover headache hitting you. It wasnât until you tried to move that you realized that there was someone beside you.Â
You turned your head slowly as to not disturb whoever it was holding onto your side.Â
You didnât exactly expect to see a certain dark-haired grumpy scientist beside you.Â
âOh god, what have I done?â You said to yourself, panic coursing through your veins, causing a pair of blue eyes to open and look at you.
