After naming all of your characters: Tell us the meaning behind their names

Reiji Suoh - Ok I'm going to go on a bit of a ramble for this one.

All the names in the Suoh family use Japanese phonetics. Some of them are actual Japanese names and some I just put together using a kanji dictionary.

You can see different combinations of characters and meanings for the name Reiji at japanese-names.info

I specifically chose his name based on the character 怜 (rei) which means wise.

I like Reiji using 怜 (wise) + 司 (administer) - wise administrator

or 怜 (wise) + 士 (warrior) - wise warrior

To be honest I don't remember where I got the last name Suoh from but now it has stuck.

Arvin Astley - I, of course, decided on Astley when I chose Nolan's name. It comes from Old English and means 'east woodland clearing'. I thought it was appropriate since the Astley family is an old family from the east.

Arvin means "friend of the people'. I thought that was a nice contradiction.

Drabble: The Spooktacular Sandwich

It was a sunny day in Paldea. Allister and Bea were still on a vacation. "You two look hungry!" Someone suddenly spoke up. It turned out to be a boy. "You're right." Allister said with a timid voice. The boy, Arvin, invited the siblings to a little picknick.

Arvin witnessed as Allister made a very good sandwich. "It's delicious! Since you're a ghost type Gym Leader, I should say it's spooktacular!" Arvin grinned. To Bea's delight, she heard her little brother softly chuckle.

Good enough feels that he's finding it difficult to put in an Active Effort to Stop/Reverse it, but he's in that Everything is Being Inconvenient and Everyone Else is Noticing, which he isn't necessarily used to. 😏
