Arvin remembered the days after his parents' deaths pretty vividly, even at the young age he'd lost them. He remembered the funeral for his mother and the deathly silent ride back home where he stewed in his anger and grief; unable to brush away the fact all his father's insistent praying and the slaughter of his poor dog had been for nothing. No amount of praying or sacrifices had taken his mother's illness from him, no amount of tears shed brought his best friend back to life.
By the time he led the officer to his father's corpse by the cross out in the woods, his body and heart had grown numb.
The ride to his grandmother and uncle's home had been silent, too. He supposed there was nothing good to say to a boy who'd lost his parents back-to-back. The numbness dulled a little after reuniting with his family and his new sister; Lenora, she was called, presumably an orphan like him. Her mother had dropped her off at his grandmother's home to spend the day out with her husband and his cousin, only to never be seen alive again while her husband and the cousin virtually disappeared. Her sweet smile and glittering eyes won him over soon enough and he vowed to always protect her.
A couple months after settling into life at his grandmother's house, she had his uncle drive them down the road and across the street to a neighbor's house where one of Lenora's friends lived for a playdate. His grandmother told him about the boy his age who she hoped he'd befriend and coaxed him into giving the boy a try while she caught up with his quiet and timid mother.
Back in Knockemstiff, Arvin had little to no friends since most of the boys always gave him a hard time for being an outsider. In Coal Creek, his grandmother assured him, things would be different.
While his grandmother and Lenora entered the house, Arvin lingered outside, unsure of what to do with himself as he stared at the boy. (Y/N), he was called. (Y/N) stared back at him, his fingers toying with the laces of his worn shoes and chin propped up on his knee. "You're Arvin?" He finally spoke, lifting his head and squinting through the sunrays. Arvin gave a nod. "Come meet Summer."
Arvin barely had time to question him on who exactly 'Summer' was before (Y/N) took him by the wrist and led him around the house to the open backyard. His eyes automatically locked on the shabby wooden doghouse, his heart skipping a beat and then filling with longing when a sweet-looking dog poked its head out of the doghouse at the sound of their shoes crunching the leaves scattered around. Summer trotted toward them, her tail wagging and nose pressing so hard into (Y/N)'s shirt that it left a wet imprint behind.
"Why is she outside?" Arvin asked, his lips threatening to quiver when he pressed his hand into her soft pretty fur. He thought of his Jack and how sweet he'd been, always trailing after him like the good boy he'd been. He remembered the cold night he realized what his father had done and the hatred that'd bubbled up in him.
"Dad says animals are dirty, and dirty things gotta be kept outside. He doesn't like her very much, I think." (Y/N) explained, rubbing his palm into Summer's head and grinning when she lapped at his chin, her tail wagging quicker than before.
Arvin decided then and there that he disliked (Y/N)'s father, and as he later learned, the man was a drunk son of a bitch worthy of no respect.
Time flew by quicker than Arvin expected now that he had Lenora and (Y/N) to keep him company. They were as thick as thieves, vowing to protect and defend each other no matter what. It led to many fights when other boys at school tried picking on them, and they oft' sat at the dinner table while his grandmother scolded them and Lenora tended to their injuries, but it only made them closer. Trouble makers, some called them, but it never mattered. Arvin only grew to realize his feelings had changed when he heard his grandmother teasingly say she could see Lenora and (Y/N) marrying when they got older.
Arvin had been unable to get her words out of his head since that evening, been unable to decipher why it annoyed him as much as it did. It made sense, in a way. Two kids from the same town growing up together and eventually marrying after high school was a tale as old as time. He wondered if it was simply the idea of his little sister getting hitched or someone stealing away his only companion but only the latter bothered him more than the former.
"You ever think of the future?" Arvin asked, leaning back against the hood of his car and staring up at the twinkling stars. The car shook lightly when (Y/N) shut the door, leaves crunching under his boots as he made his way around to stand beside him. He clamped his teeth around the cap of a beer bottle in hand, peeling it off and spitting it out onto the ground.
"The future?" (Y/N) repeated, offering the bottle before taking the cap off his own. "You thinkin' of the future now, Arv?"
"Grandma was fixin' up dinner with Lenora and, I dunno, she said some things that got me thinkin', I guess," Arvin explained and took a swing of his beer, craning his neck when it began to ache and gazing at his best friend. (Y/N) pressed the rim of the bottle against his bottom lip in thought, eyes staring off into the darkness of the forest around them. Arvin liked watching him. He learned all his quirks and habits that way.
(Y/N)'s brows fixed. "What'd she say? She mention she wants you out of the house or somethin'? I bet she wants you to get yourself a real pretty wife." (Y/N) laughed, his voice teasing and light-hearted.
It was true, he supposed. The times his grandmother would talk about his parents, she always ensured to remind him that he needed to 'find himself a good, God-fearing Christian wife who loves him as his mother loved his father.' He'd heard the romantic tale time after time; his father drove through Meade and stopped to get himself a coffee only to end up head over heels for the pretty, generous waitress. His father ignored his grandmother's desire to get him to wed another woman and ultimately won his mother over. In the end, his love for her led to his own demise.
"She thinks you oughta marry Lenora."
"Lenora?" (Y/N) repeated, aghast and wide-eyed. "Oh, come on, Arv. I'd never marry Lenora! She's like a sister to me, you know that." He shoved his elbow into Arvin's side and scoffed quietly, filling his mouth with beer and making the car shift when he sat back on the hood.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Arvin chuckled, thumb rubbing into the wet glass of his bottle. He caught (Y/N) leaning back to lay on the hood and clicked his tongue, twisting around to warn him about denting the hood only to notice the way (Y/N)'s shirt rode up and exposed the happy trail dipping beneath his jeans. The words died in his throat and he clamped his mouth shut but before he could turn away and take a swing of his beer, the moonlight shone above them and exposed the blossoming bruise peeking out from under his shirt.
Without thinking twice, Arvin's fingers grasped the hem of his shirt and tugged it upward, ignoring the noise of complaint that escaped (Y/N) when the cold nipped at his newly exposed skin. A hefty bruise just over his rib cage, big and purple and enough to send a wave of fury over Arvin. (Y/N) shoved his hand away and sat up, pushing his shirt back down and stepping away from the car.
"(Y/N)-"
"I don't wanna hear it."
"I'm gonna kill him, I swear." Arvin spat, fully meaning his words. He had the means to now that his uncle had recently gifted him a gun that once belonged to his father for his birthday but he never did anything without (Y/N)'s knowledge. (Y/N) chugged the rest of the beer, regret briefly settling in when his features scrunched up before he tossed the bottle aside blindly to be forgotten in the woods. "I could, you know. Unc' got me that gun I showed ya the other day."
"It was a fight, Arv. I got some good punches in, too." (Y/N) sighed. "He was drunk and being a real piece of work over Summer. Said he wanted to sell her n' stuff like that now that she's too old to do anythin' other than sleep."
"It'd be real easy to get rid of him." Arvin would never admit it aloud, especially around others, but he'd thought about it plenty of times before. A drunk hated by virtually everyone? No one would bat an eye. He doubted the church would even say any prayers for him. "I could do it."
"Not worth it, Arv."
"Not worth it?" Arvin bristled, his hold on his bottle tightening and his body peeling itself away from the car. (Y/N) barely batted an eye when Arvin grabbed a fistful of his collar, and the blatant trust despite his home life made Arvin's anger simmer down a smidge. "I ain't goin' to sit around a second longer watchin' him be a piece of shit to you and your family."
"Our sisters are graduatin' soon, remember? By the time graduation comes around mine will be hitched by that little boyfriend of hers and out the house quicker than a fish in water. Ma's never leavin' him, you and I both know that, but I will someday. You and I will do some work, get some money, and make somethin' of ourselves. I'll need you out of prison for that to work, Arv." (Y/N) pursed his lips. "You keep gettin' yourself worked up over nothin'-"
"It ain't nothin' and you know it." Arvin huffed and released his tight hold on (Y/N)'s collar, taking a quick swing of his beer in hopes it'd help calm his racing heart and heated nerves. He inhaled deeply and forced his shoulders to sag when he exhaled, his eyes darting around the darkness until he calmed down and met (Y/N)'s stare.
"You make a better guard dog than Summer." (Y/N) teased, his smile as calming and pretty as always.
Being raised the way he was, Arvin heard plenty of religious talk. He'd believed in God once, back when his father imprinted it in his skull that he had to pray otherwise his mother would never heal from her sickness, but any belief died with his parents. He attended church on occasion and kept his mouth mostly shut when his grandmother and sister spoke of the bible and prayer but the belief never rose to full devotion and love like the others. He'd heard plenty of what was sin and what was not; man laying with man being spoken of as if it were the worst sin of all. Arvin could care less if someone loved another of the same sex but he knew little of how (Y/N) felt on the topic.
"Yeah," He managed out weakly, his eyes snapping upward when he realized he'd been staring. His ears warmed with embarrassment and he drank again, finishing the bottle quicker than expected. "A guard dog bites, though. You never take the damn muzzle off."
"You ain't got no muzzle, Arv. I got you on a leash, maybe." (Y/N) laughed lightly and Arvin wondered if his mind conjured up the flirtatious tone. "I take good care of you, don't I? Here makin' sure you don't get taken away by animal control."
"It'd be for good reason-"
"Arv," (Y/N) groaned, lightly shoving his shoulder and lolling his head to the side. "You know I'd never let 'em take you unless I'm comin' too."
Arvin hummed softly, chewing on the inside of his cheek 'cause despite his desire to get rid of such a filthy stain, where else would he find loyalty as strong as his if he lost him? Apart from his family, he had no one else, and he'd rather die than let anything happen to their friendship. Even if his thoughts plagued him with thoughts about how close they were or how easy it'd be to close the distance.
(Y/N) stared at him silently before exhaling heavily through his nose. "Arv," He said quietly and Arvin hummed again. "Will you keep a secret for me?"
"'Course."
"Good." (Y/N)'s lips quirked up briefly before his warm hands landed on Arvin's cheeks and tugged him closer.
Arvin immediately stiffened when they kissed, eyes widening with rigid shock that made him freeze up but his hands flew into action when he felt (Y/N) begin to pull away from him. His hands grabbed onto him, fingers hooking in the belt loops of his jeans and pressing him as closely as possible. Arvin closed the small distance with a kiss rougher than the first, too eager to ensure (Y/N) knew he felt the same but (Y/N) only chuckled and returned the affection just as roughly.
"You ain't ever leavin' me, right, Arv?" (Y/N) asked breathlessly against his lips.
"Never."

Pairing: Arvin Russell x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Masturbation, Slight praise kink, Fem & Male receiving, smutttt 18+ please!!!, cursing, never proofread <3
A/N: Not this almost not saving because my internet went out.
Arvin’s knuckles thrummed against the old wooden door to your home a few times before stepping back with his hands locked behind himself. “Arvin! How nice to see you!” your mother smiled opening the front door wider so Arvin could come in. “S’nice to see you too Mrs. Y/LN. Is uh, is Y/N here?” Arvin glanced around to try and spot you to no avail. “Yep! She’s in her room, listen, I’ve got to pick up some things from the store, but you’re welcome to stay as long as you want. You like Spaghetti?” She grabbed up a little purse watching the young man nod. “Alright! Then you can join us for dinner!” She beamed before heading out.
Arvin headed down the hall towards your room, boots gently thudding against the hard pine floor. Your bedroom door was ever so cracked almost like you were in a rush and meant to close it. Just as he went to push the door open the rest of the way with a smile, a soft whine caught Arvin’s attention making him lean his ear closer. Not a pained whine, put one of pleasure. Could you be...No... Arvin felt the sudden urge to take a peek through the slightly open door, a tinge embarrassed at the same time. She’s your friend, give her some space. Arvin decided he’d back away and wait for you to finish and act like he had no idea what you were doing. That is until the loveliest sound graced his ears.
“Arvin~” You quietly called to him, well, not to him since you didn’t know he was there, but Arvin felt like you were. He felt his dick stir in his pants at the idea of his sweet Y/N getting off to him. So, he took a look and nearly fell out at the sight of your H/C hair messily tossed against your pillow while your fingers ran circles around your clit. Your eyes pressed shut, mouth hung open slightly, God he could practically fall to his knees at this masterpiece. He couldn’t help but push the door open more, leaning against the doorframe to get a better look at you, watching your fingers desperately paw at your sex.
“Oh my- Arvin please~” You whined again, eyes snapping open as Arvin gave a deep chuckle. “I’m right here darlin’ just tell me what you need.” He hummed letting his dark brown eyes skim over your form. A gasp escaped your throat, trying to tug the covers up to no avail. There stood Arvin Russel, your best friend. His cap on tight, cigarette behind his left ear, eyes glazed over, and a bulge making way in his jeans. How long had he been there? He definitely heard. “I-I’m so sorry-” “Don’t stop on my account.” Arvin slowly clicked the door shut behind him, prowling over you like a bear looks at an elk. Hungry. “You’re not mad?” You furrowed your brows still clutching your blanket. “Mad? No...Turned on?...” He grinned gently pulling the cloth from your fingertips, bearing your skin to himself again, biting his bottom lip with a pleased groan.
You couldn’t believe it, everything you’ve wanted was about to unravel. Arvin leaned in and kissed you, a rough hand cupping your jaw to keep you close. You pulled away a little resting your forehead against Arvin’s. “Help...Help me?” You swallowed thickly spreading your legs wider beneath the brunette. “My pleasure darlin’...” Arvin pulled you back in for a heated kiss, tongue pushing its way past your soft lips. His hands found your shoulders, laying you back down against the bed, pulling away from you with heavy breaths. Arvin climbed down the bed, unbuttoning his white shirt at the same time so he could toss it to the side. “So pretty~” He stared at your pussy while sliding a finger up and down the wetness that had gathered before popping it into his mouth with a moan. Wetting his finger, Arvin pushed it into you slowly, getting a feel for your tight velvet heat before adding another. He loved the sight of you writhing under him, soft moans luring him in closer.
Looking down at Arvin you shifted your hips to match the pace of his fingers, swallowing thickly when his lust filled gaze met yours. “M-More!~” He cocked a brow watching you plead to him, you looked helpless. Removing his fingers from you, Arvin quickly shoved them in his mouth again, licking them clean while you watched. Leaning up, Arvin latched onto your left bud sucking and nipping causing your back to arch up into him. Swapping to the other side you could feel him smirking against your skin, he was proud of himself as he peppered kisses down your middle until he was met with your hot center again. Quick hands flipped his beat up cap backwards before delving his tongue deep into your cunt causing you to hiss and moan. Arvin lapped away at your center like he’d been starving in the desert, drenching his chin with your juices. “Oh my- gosh Arvin!” You moaned out as Arvin swapped his abuse to your clit, desperately hoping your parents weren’t home. “Ugh...That.” Arvin groaned against you, one hand moving to pop off his belt, smoothly tugging it through his belt loops, tossing it to the side “Say that again Y/N Darlin’~”.
Arvin’s firm grip forced your shaking legs against the mattress, licking a stripe up your pussy, tongue swirling your sensitive and slightly swollen clit. Your body jolted feeling oh so close, you listened to Arvin’s instructions. “Feels so good Arvie!” You choked out, only for him to stop. “Why’d you-” Your eyes widened landing on Arvin’s now free cock, oh, that’s why. “Can I- I mean I’ve never. I might not be good at y’know.” You gulped sitting up and crawling over to Arvin’s panting body. “S’okay, you don’t have to if you don’t want to Doll.” He smiled, a gentleman as always. You smiled in return, wrapping your hand around his length watching his head thump against the wall in pleasure. “I want to.” You hummed, keeping your eyes on Arvin’s for a moment, testing yourself a little while slipping his cock into your mouth.
Arvin’s jaw clenched, teeth slightly showing while you bobbed your head a little, encouraged by his quiet moans and fingers combing against your scalp. You panicked feeling yourself gag slightly around him, moving to pull away out of embarrassment you were stopped by Arvin’s hand cupping the back of your neck. “S’okay, it happens. Take your time Darlin’ you’re doing so good for me.” Arvin’s voice had dropped lower in his throat, fingers gently rubbing at your neck, not holding you hostage, just there for support. So, you gathered yourself and kept going “Just like that...” He cooed. The longer you sucked, the easier it got, but also the more tired your poor jaw became. Finally having to pull away to get a good breath, Arvin led you to straddle his lap noticing you hold your jaw for a moment. “Sore?” He hummed stroking himself below you “A little...” You admit, Arvin’s lips caressing the edge of your jaw. “My poor baby... Means you were giving it your all, just for me.” He winked sending a shiver up your spine, of course you nodded.
Lowering your hips slowly taking in Arvin’s cock, you both sighed as soon as your bodies made complete contact. Arvin gave you a moment, waiting for you to begin rolling your hips into his at your own pace. “Heavenly Darlin’....J-Just perfect.” His chest heaved under your fingertips. Your left hand drew shapes across Arvin’s lean chest, enjoying the muscles flexing every now and then while the other snaked behind his head to toss his hat aside, wanting to enjoy his thick curls that bounced with you both. Arvin couldn’t help himself as he began to buck deeper into you making your moans fill the small home. A tight feeling built in your belly as you continued to ride Arvin. “A-Arvin I think I’m getting-” “Alright, I’ve gotcha Darlin’...” He groaned, flipping you both so your back was against the sheets, leg hoisted over Arvin’s shoulder so he could pound into you at his own pace now. Immediately you tossed your head back in bliss, fingers clutching for anything they could reach.
Arvin watched your tits bounce with each of his thrusts “Come on baby, let go for me Y/N.” he couldn’t help the sloppier pace of his thrusts. Your pussy clenched around him as you came, eyes slamming shut, head tilting back while you let out the loudest, most erotic call of Arvin’s name causing his bliss to join yours. The both of you relaxed, panting in unison as you stared at each other. “That was...” You sighed, loving the dopey smile plastered across Arvin’s face “Oh yeah.” He chuckled pulling out of you so he could lean down and capture your lips again. “I love you Arvie~” You mumbled tiredly against his lips. “I love you too Y/N Darlin’....And next time, come get me first.” He teased pushing some damp curls off his own forehead with a cocky grin.
Alright, I’ll admit it, I love this and I love Arvin. I hope you do too Loves! - Snax <3

Bruised Knuckles | Arvin Russell x male!reader (best friend)
Tumblr media
Pairings: Arvin Russell x male!reader (platonic)
Type of fic: Friendship/Platonic Bond, Drama
Warnings: Blood, fighting
Summary: You fix Arvin up after he got into a fight in order to protect his sister
Tag List: @callsignwidow
————————
The sun had begun its slow descent beyond the hills of Knockemstiff, Ohio, casting long shadows across the town's dirt roads. Arvin Russell trudged down one of those roads, his head hung low, blood trickling from his nose and bruises forming on his knuckles. He was exhausted, both physically and mentally, but a grim satisfaction lingered within him. He’d done what needed to be done for Lenora.
As he rounded a corner near the old church, he spotted a familiar figure walking toward him—his best friend, [Y/N]. The sight of you made him hesitate, but there was no hiding the state he was in.
"Arvin?" you called out, concern evident in your voice as you quickened your pace toward him. "What the hell happened to you?"
Arvin tried to wave you off, wiping at the blood on his face with the back of his hand, but it only smeared the red across his cheek. “It’s nothin’, [Y/N]. Just ran into some trouble, that’s all.”
You weren’t buying it. Without another word, you wrapped an arm around Arvin’s shoulder, guiding him towards your house. “Come on. We need to get you cleaned up.”
Arvin didn’t resist. He was too tired to argue, and deep down, he was grateful for your help. You led him inside, straight to the small kitchen where you kept the first-aid kit. The house was quiet, the only sounds being the creaking of the wooden floorboards and the occasional drip of water from the kitchen faucet.
You sat Arvin down at the table and pulled out a chair for yourself, setting the first-aid kit on the table. “Let me see,” you said softly, tilting his head up to get a better look at the damage.
Arvin winced as you cleaned the cut on his nose, but he stayed silent, his eyes avoiding yours. You worked methodically, dabbing at his wounds with antiseptic before pressing a clean cloth against the worst of the bleeding.
“So,” you finally asked, breaking the tense silence, “are you gonna tell me what happened, or do I have to guess?”
Arvin sighed, leaning back in the chair as you finished patching him up. “Some fellas were givin’ Lenora a hard time… doin’ things they shouldn’t. I couldn’t let it go, [Y/N].”
Your jaw tightened as you heard those words. You knew how much Arvin cared about Lenora—how protective he was of her, especially since the passing of his parents. But knowing he’d gone into a fight on his own didn’t sit well with you.
“Arvin,” you said, your voice steady but firm, “you should’ve told me. I’d have been there in a heartbeat. You know I’d gladly join you.”
Arvin looked at you, surprise flickering in his tired eyes. He knew you meant it, that you’d have his back no matter what. But part of him had wanted to handle it alone, to protect you from getting involved in something that could turn ugly. But now, looking at you, he realized maybe that wasn’t his decision to make.
“I know, [Y/N],” Arvin replied, his voice softer now. “But I didn’t want to drag you into my mess. It’s my problem to deal with.”
You shook your head, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips. “Arvin, we’re best friends. Your problems are my problems. Next time, you don’t go doing somethin’ like this alone, you hear me?”
Arvin couldn’t help but smile back, a bit of the tension easing from his shoulders. “Yeah… I hear you.”
You finished bandaging up his hand, your touch gentle despite the roughness of the work. Once you were done, you stood up, crossing your arms as you looked down at him. “You stayin’ here tonight? It’s better than walkin’ back home in the dark, especially in your state.”
Arvin thought about it for a moment before nodding. “Yeah, I guess I could use some rest.”
You grinned and reached over to tousle his hair, earning a half-hearted swat from Arvin. “Good. Now let’s get you something to eat. You look like you could use it.”
As you moved to the kitchen to rustle up some food, Arvin watched you, a warmth spreading through his chest. Despite the pain and the bruises, he felt a deep sense of comfort knowing that you were there for him, just as he’d be there for you.
And as the night wore on, the two of you sat together, sharing a quiet meal and talking about anything but the fight. The bond between you, already strong, felt even more unbreakable now. You’d always be there for each other, no matter what trouble came your way.

"What crawled up his ass and died?" - Arvin Russell x Male!Reader
Tumblr media
"What crawled up his ass and died?" Muller asked you in a lowered voice, leaning towards you. Keeping his eye on Arvin sitting opposite of him across the fire. Normally you join him in laughter. Cracking a few jokes and one-liners. But you're not in for it right now.
"Why should I know?" You shrug with a dismissive snarl. Staring back into the fire. Watching it spit and crackle as the fatty juices from the animal's carcasses dripped into the fire. You couldn't recognize what it was anymore. And that may have been for the better. Smith had caught them and wouldn't tell. It didn't matter. They provided plenty of meat on the bones, and the aromas were absolutely water mouthing.
"Gheez…" Muller pulled back. "If you weren't ladies I'd say you were on your periods." Pointing you and Arvin out. You weren't in the mood for this kind of talk. Your mind was still occupied by the last couple of hours. How quickly things turn around on a battlefield. One moment you have an advantage. The other, you blow it and are vastly outnumbered. You struggled with the thoughts and your actions. You keep replaying them in your head. Over and over again.
What could you have done differently?
It affected you, weighed you down. So did the others. But in a different way. It all felt off. Like a bit of spirit had left the group. The eyes, each one of them, glazed over. Killing left a mark on the soul. It changed people. It naturally reflected on the mood. It's different from the night before. But they tried to show it as little as possible. Also, for they didn't have this massive guilt hovering over them. They were just glad to be alive. Again.
"Smells good." Brooks said, licking his lips. Breaking a long silence again.
"Better than our rations, eh." Smith chuckled as he began cutting the first strips of meat. "Here lads, this will do you good." You sat with a small group. Veterans in the field. Smith, Brooks, Muller, Kronig, and Russell. You've been through hell and back with them.
Smith was the hunter and cook. He knows his way in nature. Finds the tastiest things in the barest of places. A true optimist as well. Some would say out of place in an environment like this. But his experience in hunting attributed too many of the successes of your group.
Brooks, on the other hand, is a man of steel nerves. Always calm and rational. But cold and distant. A real soldier. Born to lead. And kill. More or less the leader of the group.
Muller is the all-rounder. A man with a keen eye. Great senses. Skilled with the knife. And sharp-witted. Good at everything. A true team player.
And then there's Kronig. A small annoying figure. Constantly snapping at everything and everyone. Especially you. Today was not an exception. He'd always mock you. Ridicule you. No matter what everyone said. It still happened.
The last one was Russell. A quiet one. But with a knack for killing, suiting himself on the battlefield. Afterwards he often stayed to the shadows. Hanging back. Not much of a team player. Occasionally the light caught his eye, and they flashed with captured fire. A fury. An anger. It gave you chills. Not the good ones.
But once in a while, you exchanged some words. Got to know him. First name was Arvin. Something along the way had grown. Something more than camaraderie. You often found yourself beside him on the battlefield. Looking out for each other. A reassuring person to have your side.
"You did well, Smith." Said Brooks after the first bite. "Tastes good." Stretching his injured leg. Hissing through his teeth as he eased into another position. The wooden log he sat on didn't help the old dog much. If it hurt, he wouldn't want to show it. That's what stubborn old veterans do. Even if it bleeds.
That thought alone. You couldn't look him in the eye. Knowing the injury happened because of you. Guilt weight heavy on your shoulders. Taking your mood with you. Worst of all. The bastard Kronig sat beside you. His looks said enough.
The strip of meat was gone the moment it was dealt to you. It happened in a flash. You sigh out of frustration. Knowing full well who it was. Accepting your fate as is.
"After that incident... you don't deserve it." Kronig spat into your ear. Slurping the fat layer of meat into his mouth. Some other words mumbled from his lips. But you pretend to not hear it.
"Leave it…" Muller pleaded. He looked forward to an evening of quiet, simple pleasures and good food. Leaving the horrors of war behind for a moment. Enjoying the company as it was. "Give (Y/N) a slice." He waved to Smith feeling sorry. But Smith watched. Waited. His glance shot across the group.
"Why?!" Kronig turned on Muller. "The idiot could have us all killed."
"Everyone makes mistakes." Brooks corrected him. For a moment, there was silence. As Kronig and Brooks stared at each other from across the fire. You sit there caught in between. You can't help but roll your eyes to the floor. Watching the gritty earth. If it wasn't for your comrades, your cold dead body would have joined the mud.
And Kronig was sure to pour a hefty load of salt into that wound. "Mistakes that get us all killed someday." He got onto his feet. Turning to you. "If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have set off the trap. A trap THEY didn't even set!" He bellowed over the fire. From the corner of your eye, you see the other group besides the fire look over. They knew. But Kronig was really starting to make a scene of it. You weren't sure if your body could bear so much shame. You feel the eyes of the many around peer into your back. The sting of judgment.
"He was just unlucky." Muller shook his head. "You know, it could very well have been you." He tried to rationalize.
"No!" Kronig continued. "Because of his stupidity and clumsiness we lost all the advantages we worked so hard on... for a week!" Like a preacher, he stood there. Spitting doom and gloom over those willing to listen. And this time, he had ears aplenty.
"Because you don't like him-..." Brooks's sentence was cut short by an outrage of Kronig.
"He compromised an entire company!" Waving around to the other campfire around. Showing the tenfold of other soldiers. "At what cost?!" He reasoned. "We're fucking lucky to get out like this." Watching the group's injuries. Noone escaped unscathed. Bandages were in use by everyone, for the physical injuries. The mental ones would never heal. Except with the help of a bottle of strong alcohol. "You never should have come here." Kronig growled in your direction as he seated himself again. Feeling he has said his thing. Vented his anger and frustration.
As awkward as the situation was. The truth was out there. And no one seemed to know how to get the tension out of the air. You look up at the rest. But all you get are cold, hollow, narrowed eyes staring into the fire. You were lucky indeed. But a statement was made. An already made wound made bigger. A seed of distrust and disdain was planted. Alienating you from the group. It's only a matter of time before a knife would find its way in-between your ribs. But not by the enemy. The world closed in on itself around you. Only you remained.
"He showed more bravery than some." Arvin said, staring into the dark as he munched on the last of his strip of meat.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kronig reacted angrily as he shot Arvin a mean look. Baring his teeth.
Arvin looked up and turned his head slowly and calmly towards Kronig. "It means that I saw you, more than once, hiding in the shadows, keeping your head down. Weapon not at the ready."
"I'm no coward." He spat furiously and shot up to his feet, his hand reaching underneath the folds of his tunic. Arvin fixed a stony glare at him. Unmoved by Kronig's prance of intimidation.
Brooks gripped the forearm, trying to calm the situation. Prevent any escalation with weapons. "I outmaneuver…" Jerking his arm free from the tight grip of Brooks. His hand free out of the folds. "It's a tactic you know."
"That kind of outmaneuvering is called… cowardice." Arvin said with a hint of ridicule in his voice. "Not a tactic. Ask any soldier here." Arvin nodded his head to the soldiers at another fire. "Go ahead. You'll be disappointed… in yourself."
Kronig snorted, backing down a little as he knew Arvin was baiting him into a fight. Prancing a few steps back and forth. Left and right. Gritting his teeth. Kronig was quick-witted. But this time, he seemed to fall short of a few words.
"You're going to let that slide, Kronig?" Provoked one of the soldiers from the company that was listening in on the commotion. The crackle of fires around were a prelude to what was coming. The tension hanging thick in the air. You somehow expect Kronig to jump you at any given moment. If his words fell short, violence was his answer. But you knew, with Arvin, that was a mistake.
Everyone saw the anger boiling in Kronig's eyes. The balled fist. Knuckles bare white as he clenched them hard. But the words were exchanged faster than he could intervene. At least no weapons were used as Kronig stepped menacingly towards Arvin.
"Don't disappoint me, son…" Arvin smirked as he rolled up his sleeves and took to his feet. The distance between them was almost nothing. Even in this pitch-black dark, they could see the white of each other's eyes. And it was closing fast. Since Kronig had problems with his dad. More or less the entirety of his family. Any remark regarding parents or, for that matter, was a guaranteed spark. And that on an already very, very short fuse.
"You fuc-..." The cry of war turned into a howl of agony. Arvin lunged forward and punched hard into his guts. Kronig doubled over and heaved up his straps of meat. Including yours too probably. Backing up, he raised a hand. "B…B-Basterd!" He managed through hard breaths. "I… wasn't ready."
"I was." replied Arvin and swung again. Kronig saw it coming. He had just enough time to drop his shoulder and take the blow on his back. Arvin responded with another hook from his left. But his balance was shifted. And Kronig knew. Like a snake, he smiled thinly and darted upwards. Taking advantage of the sloppy punch.
He struck Arvin on the chest. Sending him reeling on his feet. To further his advantage, Kronig rained another blow on him, this time to the side of his face. It struck hard. And Arvin backed up. Creating space between the two. Shaking his head, Arvin tried to clear his mind. As fast as the punches had landed, no one was trying to stop it. Everyone sat in silence, staring at the evolving brawl. "Not so big now, eh…" Kronig goaded.
Arvin didn't reply. He spat a phlegm of blood to the ground. And grinned. He enjoyed the thrill of a fight. Any excuse for violence, he took it.
Filled with overconfidence, Kronig moved forward, feinting a blow to Arvin's guard, while throwing a strong kick against his injured leg. An injury from today's disastrous campaign.
Your fault.
Arvin winced in pain and buckled on one knee. This pain shot across his face. Glaring up at Kronig with the fire of hatred in his eyes. Some were held back as they found it time to intervene. But were stopped by others.
"Aiming for… w-weak spots." Arvin sputtered and chuckled devilishly to himself. "What a tactic."
"You got a lot to learn." Kronig growled as he threw an overhand, meant to finish the job. It all happened in slow motion. Arvin saw it coming. He was ready. He ducked with speed unmatched. Dodging the blow with ease, creating an opening for which to strike hard, and without mercy.
Kronig realized within a heartbeat. Seeing the coiled-up force behind Arvin's incoming punch. His eyes grew big as his blow went wide. Arvin's arm crashes forward and sends an uppercut into Kronig's stomach. Before the man collapsed to the floor, he jabbed his fist into his ribs. Not to break them. But to send a message. The air spills from his lungs. And with a wince and a gasp, Kronig crumples to the ground. As he bent over, coughing and wheezing, spewing up his empty guts, Arvin smashed his elbow into his back, flooring him.
He stood over Kronig, puking, crumpled form. No sign of pain or anything. Arvin leaned forward, pulling him up by his collar. Whispering into this ear. "Let's not have this conversation again, little shit. Because next time... I will break something." And yanks Kronig onto his feet. Pulling on Kronig's hair so he faces you. His eyes never meet yours. But fear is riddled in his face. "Leave.him.alone." Arvin spat one final warning as blood and tears ran freely down Kronig's face. Nodding in agreement without being asked.
"Now, get him some food." Arvin commanded him, giving him a slight push towards the fire. Kronig looked frail and weak. Sobbing softly. "Your rations." Arvin reminded him. A nod followed, and he stumbled away. Fishing the rations from his bag. Like a submissive creature, he put them at your feet and quickly scurried away. Limping. Off in the encampment. Alone. Licking his wounds.
Arvin turned around without a word. Checked to see if Kronig hadn't returned. Now that the coast was cleared. He vanished into the darkness. Probably licking his wounds. Or celebrate the thrill of victory.
The remainder of the group sat in silence. Exchanging glances at each other. "Serves him right." Muller said with a relieved sigh.
"Yeah. Prick..." Smith tended to the meat still hanging above the fire. "Here." Handing you a thick slice. "You won't be troubled by him anymore."
"I'm not so sure if I'm able to safely close an eye with him around at night…" You contemplate. Still taking time to process what had happened. "You never know with Kronig."
"With Russell around-..." Brooks sniffled. "I'm sure he'll think twice… or thrice."
x-x-x-x-x
The remainder of the evening went by with relative ease. Most tents had been set up throughout the encampment, making navigating a tad bit more difficult in the dark. You remembered the direction Arvin went, but actually finding him was a new adventure on its own. The worst-case scenarios linger in your brain as you pass by several groups of tents. Here and there are a few soldiers playing cards, others just staring aimlessly in the campfires. You weren't the only one that sleep eluded it seems. The edges of the encampment were defined by torches. They moved and swayed in the darkness by the soldiers that stood guard. One of them pointed you in the right direction. A clearing further towards the stream.
"It's me." You announce with your hands up and beside you. The sound of a knife being unsheathed was distinct over the relative quiet of the forest, especially at this time of night. Your heart stops at the glint of steel reflected in the moonlight. As Arvin turns in his spot, a dagger is held high above his head. Ready to throw at whatever came too close uninvited. "The guard pointed me in this direction."
"You okay?" Arvin asked as you came closer. Your eyes had to adjust as well to the darkness, with the moonlight slowly beginning to help you. Arvin sat on a big fallen tree on the edge of a clearing. At day the horizon was filled with countless stacks of smoke. As far as the eye could see. You could almost smell it. Destruction everywhere. Now the sky was the color of death itself. No smoke stack could rival it. Stars sprinkled on a dark canvas. Each star representing a fallen soldier. As far as the eye could see. At least that's what they told you. "I heard you limping on your left leg." He told you while sheathing his dagger.
"I'm fine." Dismissing his further interest as you're taken aback by Arvin's keen senses. From a distance, you'd seen him seated. Observed for a moment. Not only to figure out the right words for yourself. But also find out what he's really doing here. Arvin spent so much time alone. You never understood why. "I should be asking that question to you." Taking place beside him. "How's the leg?"
"It's nothing." And sets a bottle to his lips. The moonlight not helping you in telling what the content is. Without a word, he offers you a sip. His glance is short, and you manage a brief glimpse of his face. His eyes. They are soft. Kinder than before. But he's hiding something. You can tell.
"Are you sure?" You ask, trying to read him again as the offered bottle was held aloft towards you. "I don't know. I think this should be the other way around." Accepting the drink with a bit of hesitance as you swirl the contents left and right through the bottle. The smell caught you before you could discern the origin. It's pungent and bitter. The hairs in your nose seem to curl in on themselves as it assaults your senses.
"Drink." Arvin demanded. "Helps you sleep. And with the pain."
You wanted to argue about the points he made, but the long-lost memory of a proper intoxicated sleep persuaded you. With a good swig, the contents begin to burn down your throat. It's strong. And heavy. It's nothing like you drank ever before. The aromas are inconsequential to the large percentages of alcohol. It's numbing. And it hammers into your system. Warming your innards while blinking away the sudden blurred edges in your vision. But it's what you need after a day like this.
"Thank you, Arvin. Thank you for today." The words slip from your tongue without any further thought. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here." You're not sure if it's the moonlight or the alcohol, but you seem to detect a sly smile on his face. Small but honest. It was there. "I owe you." Handing him back the bottle.
"Sometimes you gotta… right the wrong." Arvin preached wisely, and poured himself another shot down his throat. Even he had to hold himself as he jolted in his spot from the alcohol. You try to blink away the drowsiness falling over you as your eyes cloud for a moment. "Do me a favor." He glances at you, muttering his words with regained effort. Clearly struggling. "Stay alive out there..." And the smile you thought to be an illusion became a reality. "Stay alive for me." The words sounded labored and...
Did you see that right?
"Your hand." You mumbled. "You've got... blood… on your hands." The crimson red on his fingers stood out more and more. Smears of it left on the bottle stained your fingers.
"We all do." He said in a gravely sickening voice. And swung his head back, the bottle up, and down the alcohol went his throat. The truth was in his words. No denying. But something felt off. A moment of clarity hit you. His posture. You notice the stifled groan in the movement. The way he hunched a little—the stiffening of his jaw. Shaking hands and narrow slit of eyes.
"You're hurt."
"No shit." He cracked out as he finished gulping down a large portion of the bottle. Slamming it down beside him. Gasping for air as he burped and shuddered. Shielding his mouth for a moment. "F-…Fuck…" His fingers curled around the bottle shook, struggling to hold on. Fresh, vibrant blood glistens on his flesh. Dripping. Pooling.
Raising yourself on your feet forced a small protesting grunt from Arvin. Posing his other hand in-between. Coated crimson red in blood. Glistening. "Fuc-..." You wanted to growl at Arvin, but were stopped as his figure suddenly slumped forward. Catching him in your arms, a warm and wet patch of his tunic clings to you. Warm blood ruining your hands. Perching his weakened form against the trunk of the tree gives time and space to assess. His face looked awfully paler than before. Eyes glazing over. How didn't you notice? "Arvin!" You call out. Patting his cheek, urging him to stay alive." Stay with me!"
His body felt cold, and with little strength he had left, he lifted his shirt and tunic. "That blow…" His breath was labored and heavy. "That last blow tore open… an old wound."
"A fucking deep one too." Everything was red. Blood everywhere. Flesh clearly showed as the gash was opened slightly. A few inches perhaps, but enough to make any man bleed. It's a miracle he's still alive. Any help of the sorts was far away. And after all, you've seen enough wounds on the battlefield to know your way around. So, you make the best of it. You tried getting his shirt and tunic off, but his slumped position didn't help. "Now, work with me, Arvin." You urged him on with a smack against his cheek. "C'mon!"
With some sense slapped into him, you manage to reveal his muscled torso. Littered with minor cuts and bruises. "And I thought you never got hit." You joked as Arvin eyed you sheepishly.
"I'm riddled with old wounds." He chuckled to himself as he rested his head against the tree. Turning his eyes to the stars. "Soon, I'll be one of them."
"Put some trust in me, old friend." Smacking him against the head as he peered aimlessly into the sky. Dabbing a clean piece of cloth in the alcohol, you start cleaning the wound. The contact of alcohol on his flesh wound brought life back into him. Arvin shook and recoiled, hissing as your work continued. "You're not dying on me here."
"Friend." He reiterated with a cynical tone to his voice. An odd smile crept on his face. Every soldier's kit was equipped with medical bits and bobs. Arvin never took his off. His belt still held all the gear he wore into battle. Never allowing himself a moment respite. Always on the alert for danger. Always ready. "What more is there then… camaraderie… and friendship?" He hissed in and bit down on the pain. He seemed more invigorated than before. His breathing quickened a little, and the blood seeped slower than expected.
"I don't know." Pushing his shoulder against the truck. "Sit still." You order and brace him. "This is going to hurt."
He scoffed and snickered in himself as you unbuckled his belt. "Happy ending after all." Arvin's intentions stray further from yours as you eye each other while rummaging through his kit. A tense staredown followed. It's hard to take any meaning from his words, especially since you find yourself ready with a crude needle and some thread. His bare chest, muscles, and muscular frame heaved heavily. Faster and faster. This bewildered look did him good. You find yourself admitting it. Almost aloud.
"Bite down on this." And shove a rolled-up piece of clean torn-up tunic into his mouth. "And sit…still..."
And excruciating pain sounded from Arvin as you began a terrible job of sowing the wound shut. A bit of cold water from the stream together with the alcohol helped it stay clean as much as possible. Stitching back and forth, up and down. The wound closed relatively fast as you worked your way around. The result looked decent. Blood dripped only marginally from the wound. Arvin, clearly dosed by the many ounces of alcohol in his system, stayed conscious for the entire duration. He even looked on. Helping you keep the skin in place. Growling at the best of times. He's been through worse, you reckon.
"You'll make it." Patting his chest as you notice the relief on his face. "I'll get some bandages and help you-"
"No…" He groaned and helped himself a bit more upright. "Makeshift one from my tunic." Your eyes meet. You're clearly not agreeing with whatever argument he's going to throw at you. But start ripping his tunic in long strips. Whether Arvin was staying or going, he needed a bandage.
"Keep the pressure on here." You order him after the first layer. Tiny reds beads of blood immediately started showing. "And don't move." From the remaining scraps, you produce one lengthy, using that to tie everything together. Arvin felt warm to the touch. You can't help but take in all the cuts. Old and newer wounds. It's as if the moonlight played with it all. A spectacle of cuts and shadows falling over his muscles. Leaving you a bit uneasy. Staring at times.
"I can't go back." Arvin said. "Not like this."
"You have to." Pausing for a moment, thinking of a reasonable argument to persuade him to return. Problem-solving wasn't that hard of a task. But convincing someone of that idea is something else. Kneeled in front of Arvin, there was a certain tension in the air. It was late. Only the light of the moon illuminated the world. The torches and campfires of the encampment were long out of sight.
"Sometime… Yes." He nodded. "But I have some of Kronig's rations here." Pulling a satchel from out of the dark. "Let's make a fire, eat well, rest…"
"The fire will attract-… You're going to get cold." You heard yourself but knew all those things could be solved. And easily. "If they'll find us-…"
"Then I have the scars to prove we were ambushed." A smile crept on his face as he sat himself back against the tree. He knew he had won you over. Deep down, you already had from the start. And what more could you ask for. Good company and food. Quiet and peace. In the moment you might get used to it.
And so, a fire was made going. Warming the cold, worn, and tired limbs. You find yourself beside Arvin, shoulder to shoulder. A makeshift blanket covered both of you. A word of kindness may have slipped from Arvin's lips as he rested his head on your shoulder before falling into a long slumber. But it may have been your imagination.
The fire crackled and spit solemnly in the night. Shining like a star on the blackest of horizons. Instead of the many lonely, lost souls ripped from this world. This star rekindled two.

We Both Reached For the Gun 2

“Y/n?” Arvin’s voice shook as a drop of blood dripped from his chin. You quickly put the gun in your bag before grabbing Arvins hand.
“Come on.” You told him. “We gotta get out of here.”
You tugged on his arm to get him to leave, but he stayed out. You rolled your eyes at him before grabbing all your stuff and throwing it into your car. Arvin stood there frozen, shocked at the way you easily stepped over Bodecker’s body like it was a mere stain on the carpet. When all your stuff was cleared out of the room, you went back for Arvin.
“Why are you just standing there?” You snapped your fingers in his face. “Let’s go!”
Arvin snapped out of his daze and followed you to the car. He was still trying to process that the cute girl who picked him up last night had just killed a man with ease.
“Jesus Christ!” Arvin panted once he was in the car. “You just shot a police officer.”
“He was gonna hurt you. I had to.” You said as you fumbled with the keys. You finally got them in the ignition and pulled away as fast as you could.
“But he was a police officer! That’s really bad!” Arvin panicked as he looked back to see if anyone had followed you.
“Oh, so what? You shot a priest.” You reminded him. “That’s way worse. And who says I killed him? Maybe hes just hurt.”
“That priest was no man of God.” Arvin shook his head. “You said it yourself. He had it coming.”
“And officer Bodecker didn’t?” You looked at him briefly. “He was gonna kill you and frame me.”
“So you shoot him? People probably knew he was coming to arrest me. That’s gonna link us to the murder. We’ll be the first suspects.” Arvin realized.
“Mister, you’re already a suspect.” You replied. “And think about it. He wasn’t in uniform. And he didn’t arrive in a police car. I think he followed us here on his own time. Looks like he had it out for you.”
“Everyones got it out for me.” Arvin grumbled.
“I don’t.” You tried to cheer him up. “I like you.”
Arvin stopped freaking out for a moment and looked over at you. He’d been so stunned by the unexpected murder that he had forgotten why you’d done it. He felt like he had to act tough from a young age to protect himself and the people around him, so he wasn’t used to someone protecting him.
“I like you too.” He said softly. You exchanged a fond smile before you turned your eyes back to the road.
“Why are you heading back towards Knockemstiff?” He asked when he realized the direction you were heading in.
“Because the police won’t look there.” You said simply. “Who would flee in the direction of the town they came from? Plus, no one knows we left in the first place. It could be our alibi.”
“They’re looking for a white male.” Arvin reminded you. “I’m still a suspect.”
“Arvin, do you know how many white males there are in Knockemstiff?” You rolled your eyes. “You’ll be fine.”
“What about our license plate? The cops will recognize us right away.”
“That’s why I popped it off last night after I had a feeling officer Bodecker was tailing us.” You shrugged.
“It’s illegal to drive without a license plate.” He continued to panic.
“Oh, hush. It’s illegal to shoot and murder people but you don’t see me telling you that.” You said pointedly. “Besides, I stole one off another car in the lot this morning. Then I scratched up the side of my car with my key. That’s an identifying feature that my previous car did not have. Nobody’s looking for a scratched up car.”
Arvin looked at you in disbelief as you proved how far ahead you had thought. While his killings had been spur of the moment and messy, you seemed to have everything thought out and planned.
“What?” You asked when you noticed him staring at you. “Told you. I read a lot.”
It occurred to Arvin that he had been severely underestimating you. You had saved him from Officer Bodecker twice and he was still doubting your abilities. You seemed like you knew what you were doing, so Arvin stopped freaking out and let himself trust you.
“I guess this makes us partners in crime, then.” Arvin sat back in his seat in satisfaction.
“I guess it does.” You looked over at him with a coy smile.
“Like Bonnie and Clyde.” He smirked.
“They died.” You chuckled.
“So we’ll be better.” Arvin shrugged without ever taking his eyes off of you. You shook your head and smiled to yourself at Arvin’s attempt at flirting.
“You told me you didn’t know how to use a gun.” Arvin said suddenly as he replayed the image of Officer Bodecker falling to his knees in his mind.
“It wasn’t that hard to figure out.”
“Was that your first kill?” Arvin asked, and you fell silent.
“Do you really want to know?” You said after a minute.
“I want to know who I’m running away with.”
“Do you remember that boy I used to date in high school?” You asked. “Harold Bailey?”
“A little.” Arvin nodded. “Haven’t seen him in a while.”
You kept your eyes on the road in front of you as Arvin realized what you were implying.
“Did you…”
“Not on purpose.” You told him. “He scared me when I was making dinner one day, is all. He came up behind me and ran into my knife.”
“Oh.” Arvin nodded, content with the answer.
“He ran into my knife ten times.” You continued with a smile.
“Oh.” Arvin gulped and felt his heartbeat quicken.
“Don’t worry. He had it coming.” You assured him. “When you’re in an abusive relationship with no way out, you have to get creative.”
“I see. An eye for an eye, huh?” Arvin’s fear quickly melted into respect.
“Exactly.” You smiled. “He put his hands on me, so I put my knife in him. It was only fair. Poor bastard should’ve seen it coming. I’m really good with a knife.”
“How do I know I can trust you if you killed your last boyfriend?”
“Simple.” You replied. “You’re not my next boyfriend, so you have nothing to worry about.”
“Says who?” Arvin shrugged, knowing it would get a rise out of you.
“What?” You looked at him playfully. “Says me.”
“Thats not what you were saying when you kissed me last night.” He continued, liking the reaction he was getting.
“I told you. That was just to put some color in your cheeks.”
“Could’ve just pinched me.” He replied.
“Where’s the fun in that?” You looked at him with a smile.
“Uh huh.” He smirked. “Admit it, doll. You like me.”
“Do not.”
“Do too.” He insisted. “That’s pretty exciting. Never had a killer into me before.”
“Yeah?” You asked. “And you don’t have one now.”
“No, I believe you.” Arvin said sarcastically. “That’s why you couldn’t keep your hands off me last night. You were too busy not liking me.”
“Oh, please.” You scoffed. “I was just cold, is all. Didn’t mean anything.”
“Course not.” He continued to tease you.
“Don’t get fresh with me, Russell. I’m carrying.” You joked as you pulled the gun out of your purse.
“Are you crazy?” He jumped back. “Put that thing away. We could be seen.”
“Relax. No ones gonna see.” You rolled your eyes as waved the gun around. When Arvin kept his distance and didn’t laugh, you decided to put the gun away.
“You should get some sleep.” You suggested. “I know you didn’t get much last night.”
“How’d you know?” Arvin asked, wondering how you could possible know about the nightmares he had had.
“You were tossin’ and turnin’ all night.” You told him. “I would know. I was right there next to you.”
“Sorry ‘bout that.” He said through a yawn. “But I’m fine now. I’m awake.”
“You are not.” You chuckled. “Get some rest. It’s a long drive anyway.”
Arvin gave you a grateful smile and rested his head against the window. He let his eyes flutter shut and before he knew it, he was asleep.
Arvin woke up with a jolt a few hours later. His dreams had been a recap of the day before, all the blood and gunshots still fresh in his mind. He slowly opened his eyes and looked around to see that he was still in your car.
“Good morning.” You smiled warmly at him when he looked at you.
“Is it morning?” His voice was husky with sleep as he sat up.
“Nah. It’s only 9 pm.” You told him. “You fell asleep.”
“Sorry.” He said as he rubbed his eyes. “Guess I haven’t been good company.”
“It’s all right.” You shrugged and pointed to a motel bar up ahead. “Come on. Let’s take a little break.”
“You sure?” He asked. “Could be dangerous for us to be seen.”
“I’m sure. We need to be seen out in public doing normal things to avoid suspicion.” You replied. “People who just committed homicide don’t go to bars to get drunk.”
“Fair enough.” Arvin nodded as you parked out front. He was about to get out of the car when you tugged on his sleeve.
“Wait, Arvin?”
“Yeah?” He asked as he let go of the car door handle. You put your hand on his face and leaned in to kiss him. No matter how many times you kissed him, it never stopped surprising him. He put his hand on your face to kiss you back, trying to savor it since he never knew when it was coming.
“I’m sorry about before.” You told him when you pulled away. “Didn’t mean to scare you with the gun.”
“It’s okay.” He smiled softly. “As long as I don’t even up like your last boyfriend.”
“You won’t.” You promised him. “I like you too much for that to happen.”
“Knew you liked me.” He gave you a cheeky smile.
“Whatever.” You rolled your eyes. “Now come on. Let’s go in.”
Arvin took your hand and led you inside the bar, only letting go when you were seating. You talked amongst yourselves for a while, trying to come across as normal as possible for two people who had just committed a few murders. It wasn’t long before a man noticed you at the bar came up to say hello.
“Howdy, missus.” He said as he tipped his hat to you.
“Hello.” You replied. Arvin watched the interaction with a frown but kept his mouth shut.
“Could I get you a drink?” He continued, making Arvin roll his eyes.
“Sure.” You shrugged. “Surprise me.”
“What are you doing?” Arvin leaned forward to whisper in your ear.
“Getting a free drink.” You whispered back.
“Here you go.” The man returned and set a drink down in front of you. “What’s your name little lady?”
“Bonnie.” You lied as you clicked your drink against his. Arvin clenched his fist and flexed his hand beside you to keep himself calm.
“What a pretty name.” The man replied. “And for such a pretty girl.”
“I said that yesterday.” Arvin grumbled, getting both yours and the mans attention.
“Hush.” You whispered harshly. “Play nice.”
Arvin glared at you but said nothing as you turned back to the man.
“Thank you, mister.” You smiled.
“Thank you, mister.” Arvin said in a high pitched voice.
“Who’s this? Your boyfriend?” The man sounded unimpressed as he pointed to Arvin.
“This is Arvin. He’s my…” You trailed off when you realized you had no idea how to label your relationship with Arvin.
“Friend.” You decided, for lack of a better word. Arvin squeezed his eyes tightly shut and counted to ten in his head to keep himself from committing a fourth murder. Instead, he took your drink and took a long sip to relax.
“So what I’m hearing is you’re free to dance with me over there?” The man asked you. The question made Arvin so angry that his glass shattered in his hand from how hard he was holding it.
“Careful there, pal. You could’ve cut my lady over there.” The man said as he pulled you closer towards himself.
“She is not your lady.” Arvin growled and slammed his bleeding hand on the bar.
“Arvin, why don’t we step outside?” You said quickly. You carefully took his injured hand and pulled him out of the bar.
“What is your problem?” You shouted as soon as you were outside.
“My problem?” His eyes bulged. “What’s your problem?”
“I don’t have a problem. You’re the one going around smashing glasses. Need I remind you, we don’t want to draw any attention to ourselves.” You whispered harshly as you pulled a handkerchief out of your purse.
“I don’t understand you. You kill a man to protect me and kiss me in the car, then flirt with that bastard right in front of me? What’s the deal?” He asked as he you wrapped up his hand.
“So what?” You scoffed. “I was just getting a free drink.”
“From him.”
“Who cares who it was from?” You whined.
“Damn it, darling.” Arvin hit his other hand against the wall. “You really gonna make me ask?”
“Ask what?”
“What are we?” He looked at you desperately. “Are we together? Partners in crime? Runaways? What are we doing?”
“I don’t….I don’t know.” You admitted. “I just like to live in the moment.”
“I can see that.” He sighed as he pulled his hand away.
“Don’t be mad at me, please.” You took his hand again. “We need to stick together.”
Arvin looked at you for a long time as he contemplated his options. He was used to running away when things got rough, but he didn’t want to run away from you. He just wanted you to understand why he was hurt.
“I thought I was your boyfriend when we walked in there.” He admitted without looking at you. “But you were gonna dance with him.”
“Arvin, I was never gonna dance with him.” You said softly. “Promise, I wasn’t. I meant it when I said I liked you. I was about to say no to him before you cut your hand up.”
“I only cut my hand because I couldn’t stand that son of a bitch looking at you like that.” He told you. “He looked like you were his next meal.”
“I had it handled. I can take care of myself, remember? Just ask my ex boyfriend. If you can find where he’s buried.” You smiled as you gently stroked his cheek with your thumb. Arvin leaned his cheek against your palm before kissing the inside of it.
“Shit. Should we have buried Bodecker?” Arvin realized.
“Nah.” You shook your head. “Do you know how hard it is to hide a body? We would’ve been at the crime scene for hours.”
“No, I don’t know how hard it is to hide a body.” He replied. “Unlike you, I don’t go around killing people very often.”
“You’ve killed three people.” You reminded him. “I’ve only killed two.”
“You guys have killed people?”
You and Arvin froze in place at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. You slowly turned around to see the man from the bar standing behind you with a terrified expression.
“Uh, what?” You laughed nervously as you exchanged a look with Arvin.
“You killed officer Bodecker? No ones seen him since he left last night to find the guy that killed Reverend Teagardin. Oh my God.” His eyes widened. “Did you kill him too?”
“Um, Y/n?” Arvin looked at you for help. You had just confessed to the murders of two people in power and now you had a witness.
“Give me a minute.” You said. “Im thinking.”
“I gotta call the police.” The man continued. “I gotta go back inside and tell everybody that you two-“
You took the gun out of your purse and fired two bullets into the mans chest before he could finish his sentence. Arvin’s eyes went wide as the man crumpled to the ground in a pool of blood.
“Okay.” You chuckled as you turned around. “Now we’re even. Three kills each.”
“You just shot that guy!” Arvin shouted.
“He was a witness!” You shouted back. “He had to go!”
“Give me that.” He snatched the gun from you. “You’re not allowed to have the gun anymore, you understand me? No more shooting people.”
“Um, where is my thank you?” You folded your arms. “I just saved your ass for a second time.”
“No, you just landed my ass in a worlds worth of trouble.” Arvin corrected. “That’s five murders I’m connected to now. Five! They’ll hang me!”
“Only if they catch you.” You reminded him. Just then, the bartender came out of the bar to check on the sound of gunshots.
“Whats all the commotion out here? Jesus Christ.” He gasped when he saw the body.
“Cover your face.” You whispered to Arvin. He obliged and pulled his hat down over his face while you pulled a knife out of your boot.
“You didn’t see us, you hear me? We were never here.” You threatened as you pointed the knife at the bartender.
“Where did she get a knife?” Arvin mumbled to himself.
“You better stay right there, little lady.” The bartender pulled a gun out and pointed it at you. “I’ll have Officer Bodecker here in a minute flat to arrest you and your little boyfriend.”
“I’m not her boyfriend.” Arvin said as he took out his gun as well. “And Officer Bodecker isn’t coming to save you any time soon. Can promise you that.”
“You can’t shoot your way out of this one, son.” The bartender snickered. “The fellas back in the bar will tell ya, I’m a really good shot.”
“Yeah?” Arvin raised an eyebrow. “And she’s really good with a knife.”
“What?” The bartender lowered his gun in confusion.
“Now.” Arvin commanded. You threw your knife at the man and smiled when it landed right in his heart. He clutched his chest and crumpled to his knees as you wrapped an arm around Arvin’s torso.
“Nice going, Bonnie.” He smiled at you as you walked away from the scene of the crime.
“Couldn’t have done it without you, Clyde.” You replied before pulling him down into another kiss. This time, you let it last as like as it possible could. When you heard police sirens approaching, you pulled away and jumped in your car.
“Where to next? Got any other ex boyfriends you wanna kill?” Arvin asked as you sped away from the bar.
“Look who’s in the murdering spirit.” You smiled at him. “We don’t have to do this anymore, you know. We could turn ourselves in. A lot of people in that bar saw our faces.”
“So we run away.” Arvin shrugged. “I got nothing keeping me in Knockemstiff anyhow. Nothing that’s not already in this car.”
“You wanna run away with me, Arvin Russel?” You gushed. “Live a life of crime?”
“Don’t have much of a choice, do I?” He chuckled. He noticed the way your smile faded and quickly corrected himself.
“But I’d pick this, even if I did have a choice.” He continued. “I’d pick you.”
“Well all right then.” You smiled in satisfaction before turning back to focus on the road.
“If we’re gonna do this, though, we need rules.” He began.
“Sure.”
“Rule number one, no killing each other.” He stated. “You better not have any more weapons stored in that purse of yours.”
“I don’t.” You rolled your eyes. He continued to look at you until you let out a sigh.
“Fine.” You grumbled and pulled a knife out of your other boot. You went on to pull a switch blade out of your bra and a couple of razor blades out from your hair.
“Damn, darling.” Arvin watched the weapons pile up. “Got a lot of enemies?”
“A lady had got to keep herself safe.” You said simply. “What are your other rules?”
“Rule two, we tell each other everything.” He said. “We need to trust each other, so there can’t be any secrets. If you have any other murders you want to confess to, nows your chance.”
“I’m good.” You replied. “You’ve witnessed two thirds of my murders.”
“Okay. Me too. No secrets here.”
“Good.” You nodded. “And rule three?”
“Rule number three,” he gulped nervously, “is I get to be your boyfriend.”
You looked over at him to see if he was serious and smiled when you saw how nervous he looked.
“I already got a ring.” You said as you held out your hand for him to see. “Why not make it husband and call it a day?”
“You really want to?” His smile widened.
“Sure I do.” You shrugged. “It’s the least we could for for Officer Bodecker. He thought we were engaged before he died. We should honor that. For his sake.”
“All right, then.” Arvin grinned. “Bonnie, would you do me the honor of marrying me?”
“Yes, Clyde.” You said. “I will.”

“Oh shit, cops a’comin!” One of the boys out front yells as the information still passes down through your group of friends like Chinese Whispers.
Several people hurriedly down the last of their beers, and a couple others, including you, take one last toke of your joints before stubbing them out on the grubby floor of the dilapidated cabin, kicking them under the threadbare couch to be rid of the evidence.
Nobody tries to flee. There’s little point in trying to hide in the forest— outrunning the cops would be a futile effort, especially when half of them know the woods better than any of you.
Everyone falls silent as the engine of the car shuts off outside, followed by a creak of a hinge and a thud as the door slams. Heavy footfalls made by big clunky boots begin scraping along the bare floorboards accompanied by the rattle of keys. The sound is always ominous, but you’re used to it by now.
The footsteps get louder upon their approach, coming closer and closer until they stop in front of you and the boy sat beside you. His arm slowly moves from its place around your shoulder, and you know that all it takes for him to do so is one hardened look of the man standing in front of you, his intense cerulean eyes no doubt shooting daggers at the teenager.
“Evenin’ Miss Brady… Mr Russell,” he eventually speaks, his thick accent broken by the slight pop of gum slapping against his lips, one that never fails to make your body clench while your mind screams at the betrayal.
“Evenin’ Sheriff Bodecker,” your friend Abigail coos sweetly from behind you. “What can I do for ya this fine night?”
“I’m not here to bust any y’all, I just came for my sweet little step daughter.” His voice is thick with disdain. If true contempt had a colour, you swear it’d be dripping red at your feet all over the cabin floor. “Y’see, her mama’s all kindsa worried.”
You finally glance up, locking eyes with the man standing above you, hands on his hips while trying to look authoritative.
“I told Mama where I was, Lee,” you quip, refusing to use his proper title or alternate moniker.
“I know, but it’s past curfew.”
“My curfew ain’t ‘til midnight.”
“Not on a school night it ain’t,” Lee returns. “C’mon, now before I hav’ta drag ya outta here myself.” He holds out a hand to help you from your seat, but you bypass his offer, choosing to push yourself up and off the couch without his aid. You let out a little frustrated sigh as you do so, and storm straight past the officer.
The night is cold— colder than you remember it when you left the house earlier. You hug your arms tightly as you wait for the familiar clomp of boots and jingle of keys behind you, giving your stepfather a stern look as he leisurely strolls around to his side of the car and gets in. He takes his time in unlocking the passenger door, grinning at you as you slump into the seat next to him.
“No wonder you’re cold dressed like tha’,” he comments, eyes trailing down your body and coming to rest on your bare legs. “Paradin’ around like the town whore.”
“Better not have my mama hear ya talkin’ to me like that, Lee.”
He scoffs. “Y’know your mama don’t care what ya do.” His tongue drags heavily across his bottom lip, his gaze now on your breasts as he leans over, breath laced with whiskey and tobacco. “And I thought I told ya t’call me Daddy.”
You scrunch up your nose in disgust as he turns the car on, and shifts it into reverse, hurriedly speeding back down the dirt path. Watching in the side mirror, the cabin is slowly swallowed by darkness as you drive away, but instead of heading right— back towards the highway, Lee veers off to the left, heading further into the belly of the woods.
“Where we goin’?” You ask, straightening up in your seat, watching the trees thin out as the Sheriff pulls up into a clearing and switches the car off.
He turns to you, tongue heavy on his bottom lip, and smirks. “Think we need to have a little talk ‘bout what you were doin’ with that good for nothin’ boy Arvin.”
“I wasn’t doin’ nothin’ sexual,” you tell him, uncomfortably tugging at the hem of your dress.
“You sure ‘bout that?” He eyes you harshly, fingers reaching out to stroke over your bare thigh. “He was sat awful close, had his little arm around you like it meant somethin’. You suck the kids’ dick?”
“No!” You recoil. Yes, you liked Arvin but you were just friends... for now.
“Good girl,” Lee praises, his breath hot and damp on your face as he moves closer, nose brushing against the skin of your cheek. “‘Cause the only cock you’re suckin’ ‘round here is mine.”
Your eyes widen at his words, distracted by the sound of his belt buckle snapping open, glancing down just as your stepfather pulls his half-hard length free. The tip weeps as he pumps up his shaft causing a groan to rumble deeply in his throat. Lee’s left hand finds its way to the nape of your neck, forcing you to bend your head in the direction of his lap.
“Lee, stop,” you contest weakly, putting your hands in front of you, and press hard against his thighs in an attempt to fight him off.
“C’mon Princess,” he soothes gently in your ear, but you’re not in the mood for his pet names.
Gritting your teeth, you spit back, “Name’s Laura, not Princess.”
“Y’name’s whatever I say it fuckin’ is.”
As Lee tugs your head back up, he tuts sharply, breath hissing through his teeth as his voice comes out in a low, menacing tone.
“No point tryin’ t’fight me Princess, you won’t win,” he warns. “You never do.”
You sag against him at his words, all your resistance evaporating, knowing he’s right. In all the months you’ve caught yourself in predicaments like these, when have you ever truly, and successfully, managed to resist him? You’ve come to learn that Lee enjoys a little push and pull— a chance to exert his dominance, and over time, you’ve realised that you like it more than you let on.
The man forcing your head down towards his cock should disgust you, but you find yourself aiding him as your lips meet warm flesh, damp and sticky.
Moving your hand from his thigh, you slowly curl it around the base, tugging softly at his hardness as you suck down over the dome of his dick. Lee grunts above you, the grip of his hand at your neck tightening with each retreat of your mouth.
“Yeah, that’s my good fuckin’ girl,” he proudly flatters, his voice gravelly as the words breaking off into a deep growl when you greedily take him to the back of your throat.
Lee’s moans fill the cab, accompanied by the sounds of you slurping and gagging around his cock. For a minute you think he’s going to come as he falls silent, but instead he pulls you off, breathlessly ordering against your mouth, “get th’fuck in my lap.”
You quickly shift back in your seat and start to pull down your underwear when he grabs at your wrist, stopping you in your tracks.
“Leave ‘em.”
Climbing over into the driver's seat, you nestle each knee either side of Lee’s thighs, and with deft fingers, he edges your soaked panties to the side as you feel his cock sliding through your pussy lips. He teases you, slapping the head against your clit, making sure you’re wet enough to take him and when he’s satisfied you are, he’s breaching your slick heat with a delicious, burning stretch. And even though it always takes time to accommodate him fully— your tiny cunt stuffed to the seams, it still feels like his cock is fucking made to fit inside you.
Whimpering into his open mouth, the Sheriff returns it— a deep, inhuman sound that travels down to your core, settling there in a rush of heat and chill. You start to move, rolling your hips first clockwise and then anti, just enjoying the way you can feel him swell inside you. Lee swears, the curse of your name on tumbling from his whiskey-tainted lips on a loop, fingers bruising the flesh of your thighs as he holds onto the little restraint he has left.
You giggle innocently, brushing your mouth against his as your stepfather cracks, furiously grabbing at your waist to hold you aloft.
“Enough fuckin’ teasin’ Princess,” he grunts as he snaps his hips, fucking into you so hard that the cruiser begins to rock from the force of his thrusts. You reach behind you— one hand poised on the steering wheel while the other grips at the shoulder of the Sheriff’s leather jacket, your blunt nails creating crescent moons into the black cowhide.
“Oh Daddy, fuck!” You squeal as he shifts beneath you, his cock hitting your cervix just... right.
Lee laughs, “That’s right, I’m y’fuckin’ Daddy.”
He drops you back into his lap, but his rhythm never falters, not even when he brings his thumb to your clit and starts driving you closer towards the precipice. The speed of the circles he traces over your throbbing pearl perfectly compliments the way he fucks you over and over without mercy.
“You gonna come for your Daddy, huh?” He asks, cobalt eyes still bright despite the darkness clinging to the air around you. You nod wordlessly, your response trapped behind your lips but as soon as you open them to let the words tumble free, they come out as pathetic whines.
Lee grabs the nape of your neck, pulling you towards him as he fucks you, now slow and impossibly deep, while his thumb continues to massage your clit. The intimacy between you is suddenly almost impossibly thick, and part of you is desperate to run from it, but you’re powerless like this. A victim of your own lust.
“C’mon, c’mon, gimme me all ya got,” he coaxes between breaths, and eventually the dam inside you breaks. Finding your voice, you wail and tremble in his lap as he fucks you through it, the sensation of your walls tensing around him urging him to succumb to his own.
With erratic thrusts, Lee spills hot inside you, painting your womb white with a strained growl. Your body sags against him as you catch your breath, feeling him still twitching inside you.
Eventually he withdraws, pulling your panties back into place. You feel his warmth trickle out of you and onto the cotton as he cups your covered mound firmly, smearing his wetness all over your pussy lips and small patch of curls at the top of your sex.
“Now ya gonna wear these all night,” he tells you, capturing your damp lips with his, before pulling away with a stark reminder, “Daddy always wins.”

Lee Bodecker | unexplained jealousy
Lee Bodecker x fem!reader [ angst/smut ]
Tumblr media
plot : after finding out about his sister’s death, and learning that Arvin is the main suspect, Lee decides to pay a little visit to his close surroundings… starting with you.
warnings : age gap, lowkey jealous Lee, inappropriate interrogation, humiliation, manhandling, handcuffing, none/co ( not that graphic, but it remains none/co so stay safe! <3 ) , oral sex ( male!receiving ), face fucking, cream pie.
It was a day like any other, or so you thought. You had learned about the trouble your friend Arvin was in after ruthlessly murdering that priest- and that even if it didn’t look like something he’d do- though you could also understand that the rage he felt after his sister’s suicide could only lead him to want and get revenge on the one responsible for this tragedy. You felt dirty at the only thought of attending that man’s church, listening to his words as if he was god’s messager. Being a young girl yourself, it could only send you chills down your spine to learn that he would corrupt teenage girls by using the lord in order to get what he wanted and suffice his sexual needs. Your parents were currently out in order to fetch groceries, and you found yourself home alone and in hopes of spending some relaxing time by yourself. However, an unexpected ring echoed throughout the house, soon followed by heavy knocks on the door.
There was no way that the ones responsible for all this noise were your parents, as they had only left barely 10 minutes ago. You therefore felt both intimidated and annoyed at the thought of a stranger or even a friend or relative unexpectedly showing up at your house for whatever reason. You felt tempted to behave as if you weren’t here, but the responsible part of you couldn’t help but be tempted to open the door in order to pay tribute to that mature side of you. The knocks wouldn’t cease, and annoyance was soon to be the emotion taking over as you got up from the sofa in order to regain the door. “Yes! I’m coming!” You yelled from where you stood, a couple of seconds before your hands were finally able to reach for and unlock the locks which protected you from intruders penetrating inside of your house.
You felt surprised to bump into the sheriff himself, a rather angry look visible on his face as one of his hands rested on his hip. You grew confused of course, wondering why the man you barely ever interacted with would choose your house to visit. “Yes? Can I help you?” You asked as you made sure to keep the door ajar in case anything happened. “I’m gonna need to have you answer a couple of my questions.” He stated, a frown appearing on your face. “I know you used to entertain a relationship with Arvin Russell.” Lee added, which allowed you to understand the true reason to why he was here. But the platonic love you carried for the young boy easily led your young self to take a rather drastic and risky decision. Besides, you simply didn’t feel like talking about this sensitive subject.
Unexpectedly, you pushed the door forward in a pathetic attempt to shut it close. But unfortunately, the sheriff ended up being faster than you could ever be. The door swung back open, dark eyes staring into your soul as Lee allowed himself to step inside of the house- forcing you to back away the closer he moved to you due to his intimidating self. You knew you had fucked up, and on top of that humiliated yourself through the pathetic attempt you had just led. Breaking eye contact with the man as this one gently closed the door, he then proceeded to look around your place as if he was visiting a house on sale. You felt uneasy, growing more and more nervous as seconds, which felt like hours, passed by.
“Have a seat. Let’s be civilized, mmh?” Lee offered, your timid self not being able to go against his orders now that he was inside of your house and that you were in his reach. Just like he had asked, your bum was soon to collide with the sofa as he decided to occupy one of the armchairs which faced the squishy furniture. “So…” he began, silently fighting the rage and madness which was currently growing within his soul. Seeing his sister dead was the drop which had led the vase to overflow, and Lee certainly wouldn’t allow any lies to escape your mouth without ruthless consequences following. “Tell me more about your relationship with Russel. I heard you were tutoring him. Is that correct?“ Lee started off with a peaceful and simple question, something he knew you had no reasons to lie about.
“Yes.” Was the only word which exited your lips as you kept your eyes focused on your hands which anxiously rested on your knees. The sheriff tilted his head. “Did you guys entertain any.. I don’t know, none work-wise interactions?” He asked you, stepping past boundaries he currently couldn’t be bothered to respect. It made you feel uneasy, especially as you had always had a thing for Arvin which you never had the strength to admit. “No.” Your voice was shaky, which could only lead Lee to smirk out of pleasure. The sadistic man leaned in just so slightly, elbows resting on his thighs as he would stare at your face with a lot of pride reflecting in his blue orbs. Thank god your face was still looking down at your knees as you would’ve been distraught to make such eye contact with him.
“Did you want more?” He questioned, as if penetrating within teenagers’ intimacy aroused him by reminding the man of his youthful days. “No.” Your voice now sounded a little stricter, visibly desiring to prove him wrong and teach the unprofessional sheriff a good lesson. Watching him realize he wasn’t right would’ve certainly filled you with bliss. “Hey. Look at me, girl.” Lee ordered, a demand which you fulfilled by finally agreeing to make eye contact with him. He smirked, knowing that you wouldn’t have dared to defeat his authority. “Were you guys fucking?” The sheriff asked, leading your brows to knit together in order to physically express your disgust. “No. And I don’t see what any of those questions have to do within a professional police interrogation.” You snapped. His jaw clenched.
“Listen. If ya don’t tell me where that little bastard is hiding, which I’m sure you know about, I’ll lock ya up until you finally agree to do the right thing and speak to me!” He accused unfairly, leading extra rage to finally exit your organism. “I don’t know!” You shouted back, voice higher than his which officially set Lee’s accumulated madness and rage to show up for the outside world to witness. “DON’T YOU LIE TO ME!” Yelled the police officer, leading you to jump from where you sat. You now felt genuinely threatened by the man, which soon enough allowed tears of both sadness and fear to escape your glistening orbs. “I’m not lying..” you answered softly, Lee calming down upon seeing that you had now grown fearful and submissive.
The man was panting, sweat being soon to drop out of his forehead as if he was currently turning into a ruthless beast which had yet to tear apart his current shape- or simply craving alcohol which he had grown addicted to through time. Lee clenched his jaw as he watched you sob silently, this sight secretly arousing him more than it concerned him. Adjusting his position, Lee passed his hand over his chin and mouth before agreeing to look down at your silhouette again. “You’re giving me a hard time, ya know that? In fact, you’re making me waste it when I could already be looking for the boy and give him what he deserves.” The sheriff spoke before getting up on his feet whilst allowing a sigh to escape his lips. His head was looking down at yours whilst you carried on avoiding eye contact. Though his hand was soon to reach for your chin, forcing your scared self to look up at him.
You felt paralyzed as he analyzed your facial features, tilting his head and allowing a small smirk to show up on his face. “That’s a pretty little mouth you got there…” those words sent chills down your spine. “Ever thought of putting it to good use?” Finished Lee, fingers letting go of your chin only to travel down to his belt which he started to unbuckle. Though- after understanding what he was aiming at- you refused to give in without fighting for yourself, your values and the last bits of self esteem which remained within your soul. Suddenly pushing onto his lower half in order to gain extra time, you got up to your feet before beginning to rush towards the front door in a desperate attempt to escape. After allowing a grunt to escape his lips, Lee immediately scooted after you and unfortunately took ahold of your waist before you could exit the house.
Upon feeling this threatening physical contact, your lips parted as screams echoed out of your throat. You were desperate for any kind of help, for someone to come and rescue you from this psychotic man of the law who should be someone you were able to trust. “Help! Fuck off-“ you began, Lee’s large hand soon moving up to cover your lower face as he dragged you away from the door. Your hopes turned into dust, heart rushing as you slowly realized that there would be no way out of this tragedy. You were his, and no one would’ve been able to rescue you from his hold. “You’re giving me a bloody hard time, sweetie.” He accused, his arm wrapped around your chest and keeping your limbs stuck as his free hand reached for his service handcuffs. Being a police officer, he obviously knew how to handle and control people.
At this point, tears were generously pouring out of your eyes though not out of fear but panic as your wrist found itself trapped by the metal’s cold touch. Like the asshole that he was, and to make sure you wouldn’t be able to escape without enduring pain, Lee decided to tie them as tight as he could. It didn’t take long until you found yourself down on your knees with both your wrists trapped against one another, feeling like a criminal who had just been arrested for committing some gruesome act, and that even if you were in fact fully innocent. The smile which appeared on his face once he finally had you fully submitted to his power made you feel sick, stern eyes defeating his own in a form of staring contest.
He moved his thumb down to your lips, caressing them with a lot of gentleness and respect whilst the other one took care of fully unbuckling his belt. “You have the right to remain silent~” the sheriff teased, a joke which certainly amused him whilst you sat there internally dying out of pure mental agony. It felt like a torture to be at the same level than his crotch, the sound of the process that was opening his pants painfully echoing through your ears. Lee felt pleased that you had given up on fighting back and screaming in hopes of having someone come to your rescue, his twisted mind already coming up with multiple scenarios and ways he could potentially use your body. The sheriff had lost himself to madness, brain tilting to the hatred-full side of him which would settle within his soul for good.
Your jaw clenched as you locked eyes with him once again, something which would only stand as a way to avoid having to look or even take the smallest peek at his cock. It was a thought which intimidated you, especially as you had never engaged any kind of sexual intercourse with a grown up. Though the lack of consent didn’t seem to bother Lee to the slightest, and in contrary aroused him even more than he previously was as he watched you whilst you would drop frustrated tears out of your eyes. “Such a pretty thing like you shall be put to good use.” The chatter affirmed, his cocky attitude only adding up to the bad mood you currently had to deal with. Though you knew that there would be no point in trying to discuss your way out of this. Lee had taken his decision, and nothing would’ve been able to divert his attention away from such an opportunity.
And before you could know it, the town’s sheriff had pulled his slightly hardened cock out of the confine of his pant. You watched in near awe as he started to pump it, pure excitement flowing through his veins as ever friction he offered his member sent chills down his spine- and that mainly due to the single thought of you. The man had never felt that aroused, and weak pants were already beginning to echo through the empty and silent house that was yours. You thought of your parents, of Arvin who was currently on the run and of all the people who once brought light into your life in attempt to cheer yourself up and mentally escape this gruesome situation. But unfortunately, Lee didn’t appear to hold himself back any longer. His free hand moved down to your lower face, soon taking ahold of your jaw and forcing your mouth to open in order to insert his cock within your orifice.
The now fully hardened length slowly entered your innocence, filling your mouth up and allowing your saliva to coat the smooth flesh. Lee shivered out of bliss, taking the initiative to have a bit of respect for the girl he borrowed intimacy out of by not fully forcing all of his cock inside of your large hole. “God, sweetheart.. daddy’s very happy with you right now.” The salty taste which was soon to come in contact with your tastebuds made you cringe, though you believed it certainly could’ve been way worst coming from a man of his kind and age. His hand moved to the back of your head in order to initiate movement, his own neck bending backwards once his twitching member was finally gifted with friction.
His breath only grew more shivery as time passed, minutes which appeared like hours to your helpless self as his tip and fierce shaft moved in and out of your mouth- scarring your tastebuds for life with both the feeling and taste of his crotch. Your eyes were closed, the only thing you could currently control in order to escape this situation the best you could. “Fuckin’ hell.. I take back what I said. Being in your company surely ain’t a waste of my time, sweetie.” Affirmed Lee as he looked down at your struggling self, a smirk appearing on his lips as he watched you move back and forth in order to suck onto his cock. Though his facial expressions were soon to change once you attempted to swallow your saliva which had accumulated within your mouth. This gesture only stimulated his cock even more, a realization which led your soul to cringe with shame.
And whilst both your mind and body started to feel dizzy due to the current event, Lee suddenly pulled out of your mouth and started to pump his own cock, a string of saliva- though which was soon to disappear- sealing your mouth to his member still. Feeling too exhausted to understand or care, you were soon properly awoken by the unpleasant and unexpected sensation that was his semen suddenly coming in contact with your face. Your head twitched in a quick manner due to the encounter as Lee moaned out of bliss, his hardworking testicles clenching in order to pump the sperme out of his canal. You could feel the grip he kept on the back of your head intensify, a sensation which thankfully didn’t add up to your current pain.
Your face was now covered in his cum, eyelids remaining close though this once it was against your will and out of pure physical protection. The sheriff panted softly as he looked down at you in achievement, enjoying the way his own body fluids currently decorated your facial features. The man had won, and he now felt free to go back to his initial goal which was tracking Arvin Russel down. “Thanks for your help, sweetie. I’ll make sure to pay you another visit some time soon.” Lee promised as he tucked himself back in his pants, a stern expression now taking over his face as if he had switched from being aroused to irritated in barely a few seconds of time. Meanwhile your remained still, barely daring to bring your hands up to your eyes in order to wipe the blinding liquid away from your eyelids.
Whoever out there who was able to enjoy this, I hope you have a very nice evening! Specially dt to @devilsuga ❤️

Arvin Russel x Reader
I wrote this in a day, it was just me satisfying my want to soft intense Arvin smut with some slight worshipping vibes, its unedited and thats really all. Um please comment and reblog!
best, Mae xoxo
Summary: Arvin walks in on you when you were too eager to wait for him. Um then Smut ensues with no plot.
Warning: NSFW Content, Neediness, Horniness, Smutty filth, Porn Without A Plot, Face sitting, cum play, cum eating, sex, male penetration, Oral(F receiving) I think that that is all.
You laid on your bed, a spring breeze blowing through your window that you had propped open with a cracked wooden spoon. You held your book above your face, eyes tracing the words that lined the pages as your fingers scratched off the fabric of the hard cover, the embossed lettered creating ridges that you could trace absentmindedly. You were not taking in any of the words in front of you, no matter how many times you reread the same sentence nothing seemed to stick. Eyes continuing to act out what you so desperately wanted to be focused on but you couldn’t, your mind was on the boy that you loved, wishing so much that the lines the pans of your fingers were pressing into were those of the valleys of his toned abdomen. You knew where this was going to lead but you wanted to hold off just a little longer, yearning for it to be his hands and not your own all too familiar one, but you knew he was at working, leaning under the hood of some dirty car, probably with was a cigarette dangling from  between his thin lips. These thoughts weren’t helping your current position, it felt like your heart was beating right beneath your skin as it began to flush, heat spreading down to between your legs and you knew that you were only delaying the inevitable at this point. The thoughts of him becoming rapidly more and more filthy, how his lips would suck your clit like they did the filter of a cigarette, kissing his way back up your squirming torso to your lips, the taste of you and nicotine intermingled on his tongue, spreading across your own. You clenched your eyes closed at this point, dropping your book to the side of you, thudding next to your head as you hitched up your skirt, letting the fabric lay just beneath your chest, hands quickly sliding back down to you cunt, slipping into the front of your panties.
Teasing yourself you traced your lips, the touch causing a shiver to run down your spine, the touch was gentle and only made you want more, slipping between your folds and tapping your clit, your body jolting at the much needed friction.
“Couldn’t wait, could ya Doll?” The familiar twang came from your door, your eyes shot open at the noise, immediately retracting your hand from your cunt as you sat upright, looking at Arvin, his jean jacket thrown over one shoulder as he leaned against your door, his white t-shirt tainted with grease.
“A-Arvin, you’re here” you began to shift your skirt down to cover your panties but before you could he shouldered himself off of the door jam, foot connecting with the wooden door causing it to swing closed. His hand caught your fluttering skirt before it could cover your dampened panties.
“What do you think ya doing?”
“Co-covering up” you stuttered, hand grabbing the flesh of your inner thigh, digging his dirty fingernails into the yielding skin as he pulled you to the edge of the bed.
“Who said that is what I wanted” he hummed as his hands began to trace higher on your skin, teasing the sensitive skin like you had been doing moments before. His eyes tore from yours and bore into your covered cover, your soft white cotton panties so soaked with your arousal that they had become transparent, admiring the folds and valleys of your swollen cunt, your bud showing at the top, your lips spread as he pushed your thighs farther apart.
He kneeled between your legs, ducking his face down low as you watched his every movement, how the short hair on the back of his neck standing one end as a shiver ran down him and to his dick as the smell of your sweet cunt reached his nose, mouth watering as he nosed against the clothed bundle of nerves, leaving the freckled tip wet with your slickness.
“Yer already wet, Sweets, tell me what you was thinkin’ bout?” he prompted as his breath ghosted over your flushed skin. Your mind was a jumble, your libido taking over your thoughts as you ran your fingers through Arvin’s hair.
“Lips around my sweet spot and” your sentence was caught off as Arvin gently sank his teeth into your clit through the fabric of your underpants.
“Whose lips, darling? Better have been mind” he practically growled, a possessiveness sneaking into his bloodstream as he tugged you even closer, moving your panties to the side revealing your core in all of its aroused glory, the smell of you took him over, his vision going dark as he dove in, all tongue and passion devouring your pussy. His lips wrapped around your clit and a loud shriek of his name ripped from the back of your throat, both at the surprise and pure pleasure that took over your body at his sudden actions.
He pulled back from you making an involuntary whine escape your lips at the loss of much needed friction. He looked up at you with eyes blown wide with desire, wanting to feel and taste every inch of you.
“Of course they was your lips, they always are” you assured and he groaned, palming the flesh off your ass through your skirt as he returned to his place happily between your thighs, nipping and sucking at the folds.
He pulled away once again, leaving you cold as your damp core was exposed to the air. He moved to lay on the bed, his back flat against the slightly lumpy mattress. Sitting up a little he pulled you towards him, bringing one thigh over his chest as the other stayed where it was.
“Arv, what ya doin’?” you inquired, whimpering as his t-shirt met your core, but you didn't stay there for long, his hands grasping your butt and pulling you up even higher so your core was hovering just above his face.
“Making you feel good” he slurred, before latching his arms around your waist like a seatbelt, pressing his face deep into your cunt as he began to lick stripes through your folds, loving the reaction it spread through your body above him. His tongue pushed through your muscular hole, pushing deep inside your vagina, licking the inside as far as he could go, stretching you very slightly.
His tongue left your insides and returned to your clit, happily sucking on the bundle making you jolt. The feeling was almost too much, your hands gripping into his hair and tugging it from the roots as you felt your orgasm beginning to build through your body.
“Arvin, baby, ‘m close,” he sucked hard at your words, laying a light smack on your ass as you ground down onto his face, urging you to do it more, which you did, bringing you to your orgasm as his tongue slipped through his lips a flicking your clit. Your thighs began to quake as the pleasure took over, your whole body tensing as you threw your head back moans leaving your mouth as he continued to suck to sustain you through your orgasms. He felt his dick twitch at the feeling of your cum dripping down his chin, your aroma taking over the tent that your skirt had made around his head, dizzyingly arousing.
Once you finished he let his arms unwind from around your waist letting you fall next to him on your bend, your chest rising and falling rapidly as your energy had been drained. You felt Arvin moving away from you resulting in your eyelids fluttering open, eyeing his movements as he reached behind his back he tugged on the collar of his shirt. The stained white cotton disappearing his face for a moment as it exposed his toned chest, even though your orgasm wracked your mind you knew what you wanted, to touch him. Raising your slightly tired body you managed to sit up, reaching over and tracing your fingers along his abs that you had imagined doing earlier. He tensed under your touch as it grew closer and closer to the waistband of his loose boxers that his dick was straining against. He let you pull his underpants off, his dick springing free and slapping up against his abs, cum precum leaking from the tip and leaving a mark on his bare abs.
He put one knee on the bed, between your spread legs, pushing you back onto the bed and lifting up your shirt, your nipples hardened as your breast became fully exposed to the air, the summer breeze cascading over your chest, fluttering the curtains and shadowing Arvin’s features.  His eyes locked with yours as you began to shimmy off your skirt but his hands wrapping around yours halted your movements.
“Keep it on” he ordered as he began to hike it back up, your slick thighs chilling as they spread apart, no longer together to keep your cum from going cold. A cringe spread across your features at the feeling. “What’s the matter, Doll?” his features taking on a look of concern.
“S’cold, Arv” you whined pitifully, his eyes crinkled as a grin spread across his cheeks, leaning in and pressing his forehead to yours.
“Let’s warm you up, shall we?” he cheekily suggested as his tip teased through your folds, precum spreading across your clit as he rubbed his dick against it before slipping into you, filling you to the hilt. He stilled once he was fully inside of you, letting you adjust to being full of him, brushing a stray hair that had fallen on your forehead.
“Move, Arvin” you begged, and he rapidly began, pulling out and thrusting back in, but slower than you expected, his foreskin dragging against your walls as you could feel him twitch, his veins twitching against your tight core. Your legs wrapped around Arvin’s waist, digging your heels into the small of his back, pressing with him as he continued to push in and out of you. It was clear what he wanted, he wanted you to fall apart around him, to know that your fingers will never feel as good as his cock, how you will always need him, and maybe it was also to remind himself of that as well, that you need him.
“I need you, Arvin” you moaned, arching your back up and pressing your breasts to his chest, nipples getting the friction that they need from rubbing against his bare skin. Sweat and passion coated you both, the throws of ecstasy enthralling you both, the world seemed to melt away, the clock on the wall became obsolete as time seemed to stop, it was just to two of you, tongues entangled as they fought for dominance, each others touch branding small littered bruises across skin. The feeling so intense you felt like you were losing your mind.
“Arvin,” you screamed, your vision fuzzing like iron shavings at the edges as your body felt like a bonfire. “I-I’m close” you could barely speak, losing control of your body.
“Let’s get there together farling” he groaned in your ear, picking up the pace of his thrusts bringing you across the brink of pleasure and into something ethereal, bodies entirely as one, wherever one began and the other ended was not of consequence as you fell apart in each others arms, his cum shooting out and painting your walls.
When you had both finally rode out your highs, he collapsed onto your chest, your sweat intermingling on skin, lips lazily working against each other, catching your breath as he softened inside of you. He finally pulled out of you, cum beginning to leak down and out of you but he caught it with his fingers, bringing them up to your lips and without any words you opened them, encasing his slender his fingers in your soft mouth, licking at them to make sure you got all the cum off of them before letting them go with a pop, a contented grin taking over your lips as you eyed the loving boy above you.
“I love ya, Sweets” Arvin smiled, collapsing back onto your chest, nuzzling his face between your tits.
“I love you too, Arv” you chuckled, fiddling with the hair that had begun to curl on his forehead.
“Ya so needy sometimes” he mumbled, his eyes fluttering shut as the exertion of the day began to catch up with him.
“Oh, ‘m sorry” you whispered, embarrassment taking over your form as you felt ashamed of your neediness.
“No, none of that sweets” he pushed himself up, looking at your face as you avoided his gaze, his hand grasped your chin, turning your head to make you meet his gaze. “Like it when ya need me” a smile taking over your features at his softness “Just next time, wait for me, don’t need my baby being too tired to take my dick”
“Arvin!” you cried, smacking his chest as you fell into a fit of giggles.

Part 1  Part 2 Part 3
“Hey, hun, what can I getcha?” You leaned into your popped hip, pen and notepad in hand.
A man you hadn’t met before, clearly someone just passing through town, was sitting across the diner bar in a light blue button-up and suspenders. He was fairly clean cut save for the day-old scruff across his face. He studied the menu intensely before setting it down and looking up at you with a sweet-as-pie smile. “Can I please have coffee with some cream and the grits?” He asked with a southern drawl.
You scribbled down his order on the notepad, “That all?”
“Mhm, I think so. Thanks doll.” He slid the menu towards you before reaching for a newspaper that had been left on the counter beside him by the last patron. You turned around to pin the man’s order on the little turnstile for the chef when the little bell on the door rang.
Tucking your notepad back into the apron tied around your waist, you grabbed the pot of coffee from the counter and poured the man a cup of the rich black liquid. Next, you prepared a little ceramic cup of cream and walked back to set them on the counter in front of him. His polite thanks were only the background when you saw Arvin walk behind the man and shoot you a smile before settling down in a seat at the bar only a few seats away.
You walked over to him and leaned on the counter with a smile, “Well, hey there stranger. You on lunch already?”
Arvin nodded, looking to you hopefully, “Yeah ‘n I was hopin’ you might be too so I could grab a bite to eat with my favorite girl.”
“Shh!” You hushed him with exasperated wide eyes, like it should have been obvious that he needed to keep his voice down, because in your mind it was. You nodded your head to the other patrons in the diner. “Y’know word travels fast in little towns like this ‘n I don’t need my daddy findin’ out ‘bout us,” you whispered to Arvin who sighed in annoyed understanding. You knew he wasn’t annoyed at you but the situation was less than ideal.
He tapped his fingers on the counter and his knees bounced under the bar, “So is that a no for lunch?”
You glanced over your shoulder to look at the clock that hung on the wall. It was only eleven in the morning but maybe you could ask Charlene if she could cover so you could take an early lunch. “Let me double check real quick.” You held up a finger to excuse yourself into the back to find your coworker.
No more than ten minutes later, you and Arvin walked out to his car with two take-out boxes of burgers you had managed to swipe from the kitchen in hand. He slid into the driver’s seat while you planted yourself beside him in the passenger’s. You handed him one of the boxes of food before opening your own and
digging into the small handful of fries. “So how is your day going so far?”
Arvin took a large bite of his burger, covering his mouth with his hand has he tried to speak and chew at the same time, “Ain’t too bad. I got an engine to rebuild for an old Ford when I get back but nothin’ too terrible. How ‘bout you?”
“Ready to go home already,” you chuckled, popping a fry in your mouth, “But it ain’t too bad here either. Just would like to not be here.”
Arvin laughed a little beside you, “I know how that feels. Thanks for the burgers by the way. I appreciate it. I don’t want you gettin’ in no trouble for stealin’ food.”
You shrugged off his concern, “Don’t worry ‘bout it. If people don’t eat it, it just goes in the trash anyways. I ain’t gonna get in any trouble.”
He let out a heavy breath, resigning to your insistence, which he really just found an adorable confident stubbornness. A comfortable silence fell over the unmoving car as the two of you ate your lunches in the parking lot. When you finished chewing your bite, you looked over at Arvin, “How long you been livin’ with us?”
Arvin looked up at the brick wall straight ahead in thought, “Maybe five months now. Longer than I meant to-"
"I didn't mean it like that! I was just wonderin'...." you got awkwardly quiet for a moment, "Havin' you 'round has been the best five months in a really really long time."
"For me too. When I came into town, I thought I'd be livin' in my car. Didn't know how lucky I'd be gettin' to live with the most beautiful girl in the world." His hand reached over to your thigh, squeezing lightly.
Even after all of his sweet affections and compliments, they never failed to make your cheeks ache from trying not to blush and smile like a schoolgirl. “You really think flattery will get you somewhere?” you giggled teasingly, turning towards him and nudging his leg with your hand.
“Well it got me in your house so…” He teased back, something that he had been doing more often in the last few weeks. Arvin had never been the most humorous of people, aside from the occasional chuckle or hidden smile. That had been changing since the two of you had gotten closer though.
“Uh, no! It might get you kicked outta my house though if my daddy ever finds out.” It started as chuckle but the words faded into concerned worry as you realized how true they could really be.
Arvin sensed the shift, “You really think your daddy would kick me out if he found out ‘bout us?”
You nodded, “Without a doubt. Would probably throw me out too.” You shifted so you were sitting on your bent leg, suddenly uncomfortable.
He began cautiously, “I mean… would that really be such a bad thing?”
You whipped your head to look at him, “I ain’t got nowhere else to live right now. I been savin’ up for a year to move out but it ain’t enough to buy a place of my own yet.”
“How much you got?”
That number was in your head immediately, one that you kept a running total of with every paycheck. “$4,317.” It wasn’t enough, though, and you knew it. Even the old run down houses around town cost $12,000, which meant you weren’t even halfway to the fixer-uppers, not that you minded buying a fixer upper. “I don’t need a mansion or nothin’ but it ain’t nearly enough for even something small.”
Arvin chewed his lip, thinking about the box of cash he’d been stashing away with each of his paychecks as well. He knew exactly what it was like in your position, struggling to save up the money to get on your own feet. He hated relying on others and, even though he really liked you, he hated depending on your and your father for shelter. “You ain’t gonna be stuck in this ol’ town forever,” he promised you and it came out just like that. A promise. “You’re too good for this place.”
Another smile forced its way onto your face at his words of hope, “I’ll get outta here eventually…”
Suddenly, a familiar male voice yelled your name and you flinched. You turned towards the voice to see your boss, Harold, standing at the backdoor of the diner with his hands on his hips. He gave you a stern look and tapped the watch on his wrist before pointing at you then jabbing his thumb over his shoulder towards the door.
“Shit! I totally lost track of time!” You scrambled to gather up the trash from lunch and stuffed it into the paper bag you’d brought it out in. “I’m sorry, I have to run!”
Arvin had nearly jumped out of his skin when your name had been yelled, the only person he’d ever heard calling you that way being your father. He crumbled up the paper wrapper for his burger and stuffed it in the paper bag for you. “‘M sorry. Didn’t mean to get you in trouble with your boss.”
“Nah, he’s fine,” you waved off the worry dismissively, “He acts all tough but he ain’t nothin’ but a softy.” You opened up the door and began to slide out when you stopped and took a quick glance around. Nobody was in the parking lot, or really anywhere in sight for that matter. In an impulsive swift action, you grabbed Arvin by the collar of his greasy shirt and pulled his lips to yours quickly before pushing him before anyone could see.
He looked stunned, big brown eyes wide and shocked by your courageous kiss. Your heart raced and your cheeks flushed with the exhilaration of actually sneaking a kiss to Arvin in public. It was a dangerous move but your dad was at work and there was nobody else around to see. You tried to hide your excited smile by chewing your bottom lip but it didn’t work. “Thanks for lunch, Arv.”
“Uh - y-yeah. Thank you for the burger.” Arvin stumbled over his words while you slid out of the car and closed the door behind you, leaving the poor boy struggling to make his brain catch up to reality.
“See you at home!” You waved one last time before turning. Arvin watched as you jogged back to the entrance of the diner, your little dress bouncing with every movement. You turned to give him one last glance before you disappeared behind the door.
Work had passed rather uneventfully for you. You put in the last few hours of your shift, went to the grocery store, and then headed home to start on dinner.
Arvin, on the other hand, the rest of his day at work had shaken the good feeling he’d had since his lunch break with you. He had found himself with a wrench in hand, trying to bolt back in the engine he’d been rebuilding for the last few hours. Grease smeared across his shirt, pants, and face despite how hard he tried to keep his dirty hands from ruining his clothes. Even if they were work clothes, he didn’t have that many sets of outfits nor the money to go out and buy more.
“My cousin lives o’er there with his wife. Said the sheriff up and disappeared for a while but they found him dead in the woods.”
Arvin’s head nearly hit the hood of the car that was propped up when he heard those words. He looked over his shoulder to see Davis and Fred, two of the other guys that worked at the mechanics shop, talking over two cans of beer.
“You hear anythin’ ‘bout that, Arvin?” Davis asked, sipping his can.
Arvin’s heart twisted in panic but he shook his head like hadn’t heard what they were talking about, “Hear ‘bout what?”
“Few months back, the sheriff in my cousin’s hometown turned up dead. Someone shot ‘im in the woods outside o’ some small town nearby. His name was like Lodeck or Bodecker or somethin’ like that.” Davis explained the story to both of the guys.
“Eh, pro’lly had it comin’,” Your dad came entered from the storage room with a handful of bolts, “I know I’ve met some sheriffs that deserved a bullet between the eyes.”
Fred rolled his eyes, “Yeah well you’re an angry drunk so I’m sure you’d say that ‘bout anyone who took a drink from you. I’m sure this guy wasn’t that bad. What kinda sick fuck you gotta be to shoot a sheriff? This ain’t no wild west movie where you go gunnin’ down the law.”
“Nah, I heard he was a no good son o’ a bitch. Guess his sister and her husband got murdered the day before. Found tons of pictures o’ them kissin’ on some dead guys. Some real sick shit, Fred. Sheriff might have been in on it too. Regardless, my cousin said he ran into ‘im one time with his wife and the sheriff really was a bastard,'' Davis shrugged off Fred’s comment, refuting the tragedy Fred was trying to make Bodecker’s death by tarnishing his name.
Arvin’s heart was racing and he began to feel dizzy. The images of those few days had haunted him since they had happened but he had found himself thinking about it less and less as the days passed.
“Arvin?”
Arvin shook his head out of the clouds and snapped back into reality, “What?”
“You came into town ‘round the same time all this happened. Did you hear anythin’ about it?” Fred questioned, wiping his greasy hands on his jeans.
The young man just shook his head, “Nah, I ain’t heard nothin’ ‘bout it till now. I heard ‘bout the sister though. Sounds like she and her boyfriend were no good.”
“You know what I think?” Your dad began, picking up a wrench and pointing it in Arvin’s direction, “I think our man Arvin here did the sheriff in!”
Arvin stiffened up, “What? Why would you think that?”
“You come strollin’ along through town with nothin’ but a backpack and no backstory ‘bout the same time four people turn up murdered. Mighty suspicious.” Arvin tried his hardest to stand tall and not allow his fear to show but the tension in his jaw was bordering of painful now.
Davis swatted at your dad, “C’mon, leave the boy alone. There’s gotta be thousands of people in that area that coulda murdered them. Can’t imagine Arvin doin’ such a thing.”
Arvin was grateful for Davis’s trust. If only he deserved it.
“I’m only jokin’! Y’all a bunch of whiny little girls, can’t take a fuckin’ joke.” Your dad grumbled to himself, swatting his hand towards his coworkers.
“Ah, shut up.” Fred stood up from the table he’d been sitting at and laid back down on the dolley before sliding under the jacked up Chevy he had been tasked with. “Ain’t nobody ‘round here takes you seriously.”
Arvin watched as your dad walked past Fred, kicking him in the leg and earning a loud exclamation of annoyance, but it was as if he were disconnected from the whole scene. He had tried so hard to forget what had happened back in Knockemstiff and Coal Creek, though it seemed damn near impossible considering it had uprooted his entire life. This tiny town a few hours away was his safe haven, his new beginning. He never would have imagined that anyone this far away would have heard about the murders.
Hearing Davis and Fred bring up Bodecker’s name made Arvin’s blood turn to ice in his veins. What kinda sick fuck you gotta be to shoot a sheriff? Fred’s words played over and over in Arvin’s head. This was just what he was worried about. This was why he ran. Nobody would believe Bodecker was trying to kill him first. Self defense didn’t mean shit when it was against the law. The same with Reverend Teagarden. A man of the word? Arvin didn’t stand a chance if anyone found out what he’d done.
“Hey son,” Davis’s soft voice made Arvin nearly jump out of his skin, “Don’t take nothin’ that ol’ man says to heart. I’m sure you know since you been livin’ with him that he’s just a cranky ol’ drunk who don’t know when to shut up. You’re a good kid, Arvin. Ain’t none of us actually think you did it.”
Arvin looked down at where Davis’s hand rested on his shoulder, the same way his dad used to touch his shoulder when he was reassuring him. He forced a small appreciative nod and a strained appearance of being unbothered, “It’s alright, Davis. I know he’s just kiddin’ ‘round. I ‘ppreciate it though.”
_
Your father arrived at home before Arvin, much to your dismay. Elvis Presley’s Blue Hawaii album was spinning on the record player when he came into the kitchen, kicking his boots off by the door.
“Hey, daddy! How was work?” You asked, mashing a bowl of potatoes for dinner.
He made a line directly to the fridge, grabbing a beer and popping the tab off with no effort, “It was alright. Damn Gilligan blew out the transmission on his truck so I been stuck fixin’ that up all day. Lookin’ forward to this right here.” Your father lifted up the beer bottle and sipped it with satisfaction. Yeah, I’m sure you were, you thought, rolling your eyes with your back turned to your dad.
“Well, if you wanna get cleaned up, dinner should be ready in about twenty minutes. More than enough time for a shower,” you offered with a cheerful voice. Lunch with Arvin today had made your day good in a way that was hard to ruin.
“Yeah, I might go do that. What’s for dinner?” Your father walked over and peeked over your shoulder to see what you had cooking on the stove.
“Mashed potatoes, green beans, and chicken.” You cut in a few slices of butter and added them to the bowl of mashed potatoes, sprinkling some salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
Expecting some words of discouragement like you usually earned from your father, he just nodded contently and disappeared out of the kitchen towards the bathroom. You turned to watch him walk away, your mouth fallen open in pleased surprise at the fact that you just had a semi-pleasant interaction with your father for the first time in several weeks. You turned back to mixing in the now melted butter into the mashed potatoes when the front door opened yet again.
You looked back to see Arvin walking in through the living room, “Hey, Arv!”
His hands were shoved deep in his pockets and judging by the way his eyes shot up to you, as if he hadn’t expected your greeting, he had been staring at the ground when he walked in. “Hi,” he answered low and short with no emotion one way or the other.
Your brows furrowed, “Everythin’ alright?” Leaving the food on the counter and wiping your hands on your apron, you walked out into the living room towards him.
Arvin visibly took a step back and his eyes widened a little, his shoulders squaring up, “Yeah, ‘m good. Just wanna take a shower.”
Before you could get the words out, he had already begun walking away. “My dad’s already in the bathroom,” you called out after him, finally getting him to stop.
Arvin didn’t turn back to you though, only half glanced over his shoulder, “Oh, alright.” He turned back to continue his walk back to his room.
“Dinner will be ready soon!” You attempted to add, only earning a small thanks in response and the sound of Arvin’s door closing. “O-oh… okay.” You stood alone in the living room, the sound of running water coming from the bathroom and Elvis Presley’s voice filling the room but not loud enough to drown out your concern.
Dinner went by just as uncomfortably. You poked at your mashed potatoes, keeping your gaze stuck down at the food on your plate except for when you glanced over at Arvin who seemed to be actively looking anywhere except for you. This only made you roll your eyes out of frustration and stare back down at your food.
Your dad talked about his day, mostly grumbled complaints, “I don’t get nearly ‘nough respect ‘round here. Damn Fred and Davis callin’ me a drunk. What? A man can’t enjoy a damn beer without being called a drunk! Damn prudes.” When you didn’t respond, he reached over and tapped your arm, “Hey? You even listenin’?”
“Hm?” You tried to make yourself focus on what he was saying this time, “Sorry, long day. What happened?”
“See? I ain’t get no respect at work and I can’t even get no respect at my own damn house from my own damn daughter!” He grumbled, the feet of the wooden chair scraping against the ground as he stood up forcefully, swaying a little side to side but bracing himself on the wall to walk out of the room.
You didn’t even possess the mental capacity to care about his little tantrum. Your mind was swimming with confusion and, honestly, anger, at Arvin’s little unexplained silent treatment. “Okay, what’s wrong?” You asked, leaning towards Arvin.
“Nothin’.” He answered simply, taking a sip of his water. His voice was low and he still refused to make eye contact, despite nothin’ being wrong.
“That’s a lie. Everythin’ was fine this mornin’ and now you’re suddenly not talkin’ to me. Won’t even look at me! What the hell, Arvin? Did I say somethin’ wrong?” Thinking back, there wasn’t anything you had said earlier that you could imagine warranting such a negative response from Arvin so your confusion and concern had quickly turned to frustration.
Arvin shook his head, “No, no, you ain’t did nothin’ wrong.”
“Then what is it?” You practically begged him to tell you. You hated being upset at him when clearly something was bothering him but this felt like he was just playing some broody guessing game with you, something you got enough of from your dad.
Stress shone through Arvin’s eyes and he met your gaze finally, if only for a second, before looking away again. You could see there was a flicker of something you hadn’t seen in him before but you couldn’t quite put your finger on it. Whatever it was, it was really bothering him and you felt guilty for being upset. You just couldn’t understand why you suddenly were being ignored for something that apparently had nothing to do with you.
“I can’t tell you.”
Arvin’s admittal just made you more upset. “So you’re not mad at me but you’re ignoring me and can’t tell me why?”
Arvin hadn’t seen you look at him this way. At your father, yes, but he was unaccustomed to that raised eyebrow and frustratedly desperate crack in your voice being directed towards him. He hated it. He hated knowing that he was causing you to feel upset and helpless when he was supposed to be your escape from those exact feelings.
But he couldn’t bring himself to tell you the truth. You’d think he was a monster. You’d hate him. He’d lose the one good thing he had in his life because-
Arvin shook his head, “‘M sorry.” He looked anywhere but at you because he couldn’t stand to see the way your face fell, though he could practically feel your heart fall from across the table. He didn’t need to see it. He knew.
“Fine.” You stood up and grabbed your plate, scraping the rest in the garbage and setting the plate in the sink. Your appetite was gone and your patience had snapped, not that you had been the most patient thus far anyways.
Arvin watched as you stormed out of the kitchen, grabbed your coat off the coat rack by the front door, and walked out of the house. His head hit his hands. No matter how hard he tried to protect those he cared about, he only seemed to hurt them more.
-
You hadn’t expected Arvin to find you here so when the door opened to the old barn, you turned around in surprise. You were curled up in your coat, sitting on an old wooden crate that had been untouched in this unused barn for God knows how long. A large window looked out over the large field that had once been the family farm but was now practically a glorified dirt lot. Your coat was wrapped tightly around your body, held in place with one hand while you held a lit cigarette with the other.
“Didn’t know you smoked,” Arvin took a few steps in, his hands shoved guiltily in the pocket of his denim jacket.
You blew out a large plume of smoke that you had been holding in and looked away, “I don’t too often.”
Arvin closed the barn door behind him as he approached you and you had to fight the urge to get up and leave but you knew that made you no less immature than the way you felt he was acting.
“‘M sorry. I really am.”
You took another drag and turned to him, the moonlight illuminating his features - somehow so boy-like but so rugged - and it was hard to stay mad at him. “I am too. I don’t mean to be dramatic but I just… I don’t understand, Arv. If somethin’s wrong, you can tell me. This whole silent treatment BS with zero explanation doesn’t cut it.”
Arvin let out a heavy breath. While doing the dishes from dinner for you after you stormed off, he had had time to contemplate what to do. And he had decided. “If I tell you, it’s gonna change how you look at me.”
Your head tilted up at his cryptic opener but you said nothing, only urged him to continue with your eyes.
With a deep shaky inhale, he started his story, “I ain’t a bad man but I’ve done some bad things. Things that I thought I could run away from. I been livin’ a lie for a long time, actin’ like I ain’t hurt nobody, but it ain’t true.” Arvin paused for a moment to gauge your reaction and all he saw was fear in your eyes, just as he had feared.
A million thoughts of terrible things people were capable of ran through your head as you tried to figure out which one Arvin could possibly be guilty of, though they all felt so out of character for him. Was it murder? Assault? Rape? Thievery? The man you had come to care for so deeply now swam in a murky pool of doubt and distrust. Arvin saw all this and more in your deep, worried eyes.
“What did you do?” Your voice was weaker than you wanted it to be, cracking with fear. Until today, you hadn’t imagined Arvin capable of doing anything that could real harm to anyone, maybe aside from a stupid fight in high school or something along those lines, but you could see it in his eyes that whatever it was he was trying to confess to really was that bad.
Arvin lost his ability to speak for a moment. He had resolved to tell you everything before even coming out here to talk to you but the fear shining in your eyes already had his heart breaking. It was as if every new line of moonlight reflecting off the growing whites of your eyes was a new stain that he managed to tarnish your view of him with. Arvin had to look away because he couldn’t bear to look at you when he finally admitted his crimes, couldn’t stand to watch your face contort in fear when you realized what a monster he was.
“Y-you remember that preacher I told you ‘bout? The one that hurt my sister?”
You nodded, “Y-yeah…”
Arvin swallowed hard and he gripped his thigh tight enough to turn his knuckles white. “Well few weeks after we buried Lenora, a police officer came up ‘n told me the coroner had found out she was havin’ a baby. None of us knew before. I don’t know how but I just knew it was that no good preacher. I didn’t have any proof though so I started followin’ ‘im ‘n found out he was worse than I thought. He was no good to his wife ‘n I saw him out takin' advantage of another girl in town who was even younger than my Lenora was. He was doin’ nothin’ but hurtin’ people ‘n I… I killed im.”
Your mouth fell open, “You- You killed him?”
Arvin looked down at his feet, “I shot him.”
It was silent as you processed the information. This preacher sounded like a terrible man, abusing young girls and leading one to commit suicide. The infidelity to his wife was a moot point against his other indiscretions and even that was unacceptable. It honestly sounded like Arvin had done a service to the world, taking this monster out of it, but it was still difficult to look at him the same after knowing that he had actually shot someone.
When you didn’t respond, Arvin had decided to continue, not thinking he could cause much more damage, “I ran. Left a note for my grandma and uncle and disappeared. I tried hitchhiking my way out of town when I got picked by this couple. They seemed nice ‘nough at first but the husband, he started actin’ real weird. They pulled us way off the road. Said he wanted to take some pictures but then I saw him pull out a gun and then he tried pullin’ me outta the car. I-I panicked and I kicked the door into him ‘n I shot ‘im before he could get me.”
Arvin’s voice was cracking as tears began to fall down his face. It was one thing to replay the memories in his own head but it was another thing entirely to actually confess his sins to someone he cared so deeply about, knowing the truth would most likely hurt you. “The wife, she pulled out a gun and pointed it at me ‘n I pointed mine at her. I begged her to put the gun down. I-I didn’t wanna shoot her. I really didn’t. I was so tired of killin’ but then she apologized ‘n I knew she was gonna pull the trigger. We both shot at the same time. I got no clue how she didn’t shoot me. I fell out the car without a scratch but I when I got up, I realized I got her through the neck 'n she was gone. I panicked ‘n searched the car. Found all these pictures of her all naked and huggin’ up on some naked dead guy ‘n I knew… I knew I was gonna be next.”
Your brain sprinted a mile a minute to try and keep up with the trauma Arvin was confessing and you didn’t know whether to hug him and let him cry on you or run as far away as possible.
“Then-”
“There’s more?” You wanted to beg him to stop talking, to stop telling you about the blood on his hands, to stop telling you about all the suffering he had been through. You sounded shocked and heartbroken and yet none of these tragedies were yours.
Arvin hiccuped and sniffled in a failed attempt to hide a sob. Red had taken over his features, both physically and metaphorically. Obviously distraught by his past and now your reaction, he felt like he was beginning to spiral down that hole of darkness that he had tried so hard to claw his way out of. There were nothing but snakes down there, ready to bite him and poison his mind with the words he had fought so desperately to keep out. Murderer. Stalker. Liar. Sinner. All of these and so many more.
Yet, he nodded, feeling as if he’d still be lying if he didn’t finish telling you everything. When he nodded, you made a small squeak of disbelief.
“I-I ran,” He sniffled out, “I hitchhiked my way back to my old hometown. I didn’t know why at first but I just needed to go home. Felt like maybe I could fix what had been broken there. Went there to find it all burnt down but then this sheriff came lookin’ after me. Turns out he was that lady’s brother - the one who shot at me and had the pictures of the cut up dead guys. He was all angry and wanted to kill me for shootin’ his sister. I tried… I tried to tell ‘im that she was no good and that she was gonna kill me but he didn’t wanna listen. He was shootin’ at me and… and… I ain’t had no choice.”
It was silent, aside from the ambient bugs chirping outside. You had tried so hard to focus on Arvin’s face but you had long since zoned out visually, only able to focus on the words he was saying. How could he have gone through all of this? How could your wonderful, amazing, beautiful Arvin Russell have survived so much suffering and been forced to murder people? Murder.
“Please say somethin’.”
Your lips quivered as your vision came back into view and all you saw was a tearful, fearful, remorseful boy before you on the brink of falling apart. Arvin’s hair was messy from having run his hands through it, his eyes were red and puffy from the tears, his breathing was shaky from remembering. There were no words.
You threw your arms around his neck and held him tightly to you. You didn’t know what else to do. How does someone respond to information like this? There was so much trust that Arvin needed to put in you to tell you - you couldn’t freak out.
“You don’t hate me?” His hands flew to your arms, prying them off his neck so he could see your face.
Your head shook, “How could I hate you for what you did?”
“I murdered four people.”
“You took out a disgusting predator who practically killed your sister and was harming who knows how many other girls. Then you killed a couple of murderers who pulled guns on you first in self defense. And then, yet again, you were put in a life or death situation with a sheriff who was shootin’ at you for killin’ his murderin’ sister. Three of those were self defense and I’d dare say that first one was a public service. You have nothin’ to be sorry for. You have nothin’ to regret. You did what you had to do to survive.” You squeezed Arvin’s hands tightly, running your soft thumbs over the lightly calloused skin of his knuckles.
Arvin looked down at your hands on his, hands that were so much smaller than his own but right now felt so encompassing and comforting, as if they wrapped his own in a blanket of protection. He couldn’t believe you were okay with this. He was barely okay with it. “I don’t regret it but I didn’t wanna have to do it. If I coulda let that lady go, if she only woulda listened to me ‘n put the gun down I wouldn’t o’ had to pull the trigger. I coulda let the cops deal with it. Same with the sheriff. If only he woulda listened… I only wanted to shoot the preacher. I was okay with havin’ that on my conscience. But I had no idea how outta control that day was gonna get. All those cold dead eyes starin’ up at you, watchin’ the life drain from someone’s face ‘n knowin’ you’re the one who caused that... Even if they were real fucked up people, it ain’t a sight that’s easy to see.”
“I can’t even imagine what it must’ve been like, Arvin.” Your hand slid up his arm to rest on his bicep and you leaned your forehead onto his shoulder. His arm snaked around your body and held you close but cautious, like he was scared if he held you too tightly that you’d be scared he’d hurt you too. Of course, you weren’t. The thought did cross your mind that perhaps it was unwise to trust a man who just admitted to killing four people but that wasn’t Arvin and you knew it. “You may have killed people but that does not make you a killer. You’re just someone who was put in some really hard situations and had to make some tough choices.”
You pulled back and put your hand on his cheek, slightly scratchy from not shaving that day, and you spoke gently, “You are wonderful, Arvin. You are caring and hard working and loyal and willing to stand up for what is right. You are everything good in this world-”
“I hurt people-”
“You protect people,” you corrected, “‘N if some bad people had to get hurt to keep the good ones safe, well maybe they shouldn’t have been such bad people.”
Arvin could have melted into a puddle at your feet, and likely would have if you hadn’t been holding him. Never had he expected to tell anyone his terrible deeds and in every imagined scenario in which he did, it had never ended well. He had imagined you running for the hills, screaming at him to get out, maybe even threatening him physically out of fear that he’d hurt you now (which he’d never dream of doing).
But you didn’t do any of that. Gentleness and understanding were far from the reaction he’d expected or even felt like he deserved but nevertheless here you were holding him and reassuring him that he wasn’t the monster he’d called himself for so many months.
“I love you.”
His admission surprised you but Arvin felt fully confident in his words. He had never known what love felt like - romantic love at least - but this was damn near the closest thing he could imagine to it. You occupied his thoughts every waking moment, your face and your voice swimming around his imagination in a beautiful ocean of warmth and kindness and goodness that he would gladly drown in. You were strong and responsible and understanding and oh so beautiful. Much like him, you’d been handed a shit hand by life and struggled each day to make the best of it. Arvin cared about you so much it scared him because he had not felt this compulsion towards anyone since Lenora had passed. After losing everything he’d ever loved, he was scared that if he admitted that he loved you, life would take you away from him as well. If there was one thing that you did, though, it was take away Arvin’s fear.
“I love you too, Arvin.” He pulled your body flush against his when you responded, a heavy sigh of relief leaving his chest. Much like Arvin, you hadn’t known what real love felt like. You’d even started believing that maybe you weren’t meant for such a luxury.
Now you and Arvin felt like the richest people in the world, despite having almost nothing to your names. As long as you were in each others’ arms, you had everything. You were each others’ trust, honesty, comfort, compassion, and protection.

Lay All Your Love on Me (Chapter 11)
Pairing: Soft Dark Alpha Lee Bodecker x Omega Female Reader
Summary: After moving to Knockemstiff, Ohio with your troubled parents, you find solace in the local Seven-Eleven. There, you bump into the Alpha sheriff, Lee Bodecker.
And then you keep bumping into him. There's just something about that chubby Alpha that keeps drawing you in. Now there's something going on with the new preacher of the church that you attend. Everything's a mess.
But you’re an unbonded Omega. Life can turn to shit anyway.
Chapter Warnings: Strong ABO dynamics, as usual. Sexism, misogyny, male predatory behavior, mentions of miscarriage, mentions of Lee and the Reader's age gap, mild power dynamics, soft!dark, but mostly dark!Lee, dark!Arvin, and dark!Preston. Gun violence, and killing. And mentions of Lenora's rape too. And attempted kidnapping/breeding.
Additional Notes: This was truly the chapter that Alpha Daddy wrecked my pussy. I am now unable to get up with the puddle I have created. All jokes aside though, if any of these themes in the warnings trigger you, please come back for chapter 13, as that chapter will be lighter. Thank you!
If you'd like to read chapter 11 on my AO3, where I also have this story published, you can read it here.
If you’re a minor, please DNI. Thank you.

Two weeks later…
Today was the day.
It was Wednesday.
Arvin Russell could feel it in his very bones.
The eighteen-year-old young Alpha got up from his bed, combing his fingers through his tousled hair. To try and get it to at least work with him today.
He couldn’t help but feel nervous though. Anxious, even. Arvin walked into the bathroom and took care of business. After washing his face and brushing his teeth and putting sunblock on, he fretted with his hair for a while.
Too long, really.
His hair just wouldn’t be cooperating with him today.
Putting some water on it, he got his hair to flatten down at least a little bit.
That would do it for him.
Silently admitting defeat and just deciding that his cap would hide his monstrosity of hair, Arvin walked down the hall, to the front door. He grabbed the car keys and his cap, putting it on his head.
He knew you and Lenora were in her room. Ever since you had come back, you had decided to keep Lenora company. Because of her morning sickness. You had gone out to the store in town, to buy some pup clothing. The lady up front had been a little confused since you did not smell like you were pregnant with a pup. You had told her that it was for a friend. Everything had been okay after that.
Arvin heard Lenora say something in her room before the talking stopped.
Unlocking the front door, he stepped out.
His heart pounded in his chest.
Was he really doing this?
The front door shut behind him.
He made sure to lock it.
Yes.
Arvin walked to the car. He pulled the driver’s seat open and looked through the window. He saw you climbing in beside Lenora, taking a nap with her. Pretty sure, you started dozing off.
He started the car.
Yes.
He really was doing this.
Soft music was playing from the radio.
Lee had gotten there ten minutes early. Right on the dot. Just like how he and the boy had discussed it.
Some song from Doris Day was playing through the radio while Lee waited, leaning into the driver’s seat. Briefly, he thought about you.
What were you doing right now? Were you sleeping? Eating? Reading a book? Helping Lenora with her pregnancy?
He would never ever tell anyone else this. He would go to the grave with this. But, he never thought about getting married. Ever. Of course, he liked his position. It was a position so above many others. It gave him the control he desperately needed as a child. That young child whose father had abandoned them and had never come back. Lee wasn’t that scared little boy anymore. He was a man now. He had grown into his Alpha hood. And now, now- he was mated. He had an Omega. He had a wife. Someone he had bonded to for the rest of his life. He swore a vow when the two of you had gotten married that he would protect you.
And protect you, he would do.
He opened the compartment in the passenger’s seat, where he had stashed the book.
The boy had snuck into Preston’s house and had stolen the little notebook, and had mailed it to him a few days ago. Lee couldn’t help but flip through the pages until he had gotten to the Coal Creek Church and saw your name on the list.
Even now, his eyes were burning with anger as he saw your name in all caps. If looks could kill, the notebook would have been nothing but pure ash.
But no.
Life was just not that nice to him.
It made Lee scowl.
The music from his radio droned on, and lee found himself treating it like white noise. Still, he continued to space out and wait for the boy.
He had been so engrossed in his thoughts that Arvin had to smack the horn to make him snap out of it.
Lee jumped at the sudden noise. Arvin rolled his window down and looked at him.
“Do you have the book?” Arvin asked him. Lee waved it. Arvin turned back to look out and leaned back. The younger Alpha let out a deep groan and craned his neck. He even cracked it a little.
Sucking in a breath, Arvin closed his eyes for a second. Blue eyes that belonged to Lee Bodecker watched him. Like an apex predator watching its prey.
“I still remember when you came to pick me up from my parent’s house. You know why my daddy shot himself?”
Lee didn’t say anything. Arvin took his silence as a cue to continue talking. “He killed himself cause he couldn’t imagine a world without my ma. He told me he met her when she was a waitress and he had come back after serving in World War One. The war fucked him up. He never was the same. Daddy was a real religious nutcase. It’s why Jack died.”
Jack.
“Jack was… your dog, right?” Lee wondered. Taking in a shuddering breath, Arvin willed the tears back as he nodded. “I loved him, Sheriff Bodecker. He was my pal. My buddy. And then my daddy took him away from me.”
Lee couldn’t help but allow his thoughts to wander back to a conversation he had with you.
Months ago.
When you had been talking about the Doberman that you had with your parents, back in Michigan.
“… he was the only one who could keep me happy. He always waited for me in the living room when I would come home… and he would be at the door to see me every day. But then he got sick and… we had to put him down. Worst day of my life. Felt like… felt like I lost apart o’ myself.”
It had been the same way with Arvin. The two of you had felt like a piece of yourselves had died.
Your innocence had died that night. Both yours, and Arvin’s.
Buying you a dog was next on his list when he came back to Knockemstiff. A dog from the pound that was housebroken and potty trained.
That would do.
“I’m sorry, son.”
Inhaling through his teeth, Arvin gazed up at the roof of the car. “I thought everything was gonna be alright… but then Lenora got raped by the fuckin’ bastard and now he’s goin’ after Mega… feels like my life’s fallen apart again. I’m startin’ to feel like I’m ten years old again.”
Lee didn’t know how to respond. So he didn’t. He only allowed Arvin to sink into his thoughts. To gather his footing.
Heaving a soft sigh, Arvin opened the car door. He stepped out, craning his neck to the side. The two of them were parked a couple of minutes away from the church, so as to not have anyone providing any questions, or see them when they made their escape.
Only one person was going to die today, and it wasn’t them.
“I’m ready to go, Sheriff.”
Lee got out of the cruiser, the seat dipping a little as he got out. The door closed as Lee slipped the little notebook into the pocket of his leather jacket. The same leather jacket you had been wearing when you had shot Preston. Little undertones of gunpowder had clung to his jacket. It made him warm. He was so proud. His Alpha was proud. They had a strong Omega.
“Alright. Let’s go.”
Preston Teagardin had been losing his shit the entire day.
His notebook was gone.
And so were his supplies.
All of his plans for you had been thrown out the window because all of his shit was missing.
He couldn’t have misplaced them, could he?
No. No, he couldn’t have.
Right?
As he continued to overthink, his mind couldn’t help but wander back to Lenora.
The Omega he had knocked up.
The Omega that he had been shot for from the Omega he desperately wanted a pup from.
And really, he should’ve been happy that after all of his hard work in looking at every single Omega that was young in the church, that he was finally getting a pup.
But he hadn’t wanted one from Lenora.
Sure, Lenora had been his first choice. And Preston had been dead set on her being the carrier of his pup. Getting her bred with his pup had been the first step. She had confided in him and said that she had fallen pregnant with his pup.
But then you had come in like a windstorm and had caught him red-handed.
And something changed in him.
You. You were a challenge. He liked those.
Ever since his wife had gotten pregnant and miscarried, the Alpha Doctor had told him that there would be a chance that her next pregnancy could be her last.
His wife was no longer valuable to him.
So he had to choose another Omega. He could have any Omega he wanted. He had a position of power, and he didn’t mind if he abused it. He was a Holy Man. He believed in Him. Besides, Omegas were nothing but baby-makers. Preston had heard of male Omegas but had scoffed at the idea. Even if male Omegas existed, marriage was only for a man and a woman. He would not impregnate a man. Please.
Lenora would have been fine, had you not come in and nearly had killed him that day.
He swore he saw Jesus that day. He had limped and had gotten the bullets out. He had taken a couple of days to recover. And then, when he eventually came to, it was as if he had some sort of epiphany.
Preston no longer wanted Lenora to be the mother of his pup.
He wanted you.
Did he want to marry you and have you become a sister wife? The idea was humored. But he wasn’t a Mormon.
He was a God-loving Christian.
He had all the supplies ready. He had been beyond prepared to kidnap you and take you deep into that remote cabin he had stocked up with all the stuff.
He didn’t even care that you had a Mark on your Gland. Even if you had one, he didn’t care. He’d breed you anyway. It wouldn’t have bothered him one bit.
He was practically chill with all that shit.
Preston wanted a pup in you. A pup he had been denied since his wife, his Omega, had miscarried. If he couldn’t get his wife to have one, then you would do just fine.
However, his thoughts were temporarily stopped as he heard someone come in.
He heard two sets of feet.
But no scents.
And really, that should have been the first red flag. But he had been so distracted, so preoccupied, that he didn’t think about it.
“Excuse us, Preacher. Do ya got time for sinners?" One of the men asked.
When the two men received no answers from the Holy Preacher, he heard their footsteps come closer and heard them sit down in one of the many pews.
“What would you like to confess?” He asked. This was the usual. He was not a Catholic, so he did not have a confession booth. That was only for Catholics.
“I’d like to go first, please Preacher.” This man had a lower, deeper voice. The first man who had spoken, his voice sounded a little bit higher. He was younger, Preston assumed. This man though… his voice sent chills down his spine. As if this man was planning something against him. But, like the scents, he allowed this to slide.
Red flag number two.
“You see, I have this Omega. My wife. I love her to death. But… you see, she’s younger than me. Probably by a decade. But this little Omega saw me at church one day, and she wasn’t really feelin’ it, you know? She was nervous. Jittery. But… she smelled wonderful. And she was so nervous and jittery, so I calmed her down. Handed her back to her Mama and I thought it was gonna be all that. Then, I swung by the Seven-Eleven, and there she was.”
Preston heard the man stop talking. His back was turned from him, so he didn’t know who was talking.
However, a beat later, the man continued. “I was curious why she was there. I gambled with her daddy, ya see. And there comes his daughter. She told me she was getting’ a slushie. Now, I had never had one in my life. I’m a recovering alcoholic, ya see. So, I was determined to stay off of the fuckin’ beverage. So I asked her, “they good darlin’? I have this addiction I’m tryna kick,” and she told me that might be a lil sweet for me. Girlie was teasin’ me. Even then. She was the first person who looked at me like I was just me. Someone who was her equal. Someone who was normal. Before I met her, everybody treated me like I was someone to be feared. But this girl… she looked at me like I was human. And before long, I knew I was in deep shit.”
He heard him pause again.
“… Sorry- got a little emotional there. But uh… my Omega she’s… amazing. She makes me a better person. I feel like… like I’m human with her. But our age gap is… well…”
A dark chuckle made the hairs on the back of Preston’s head raise up. He nervously swallowed and felt himself start to sweat underneath his shirt.
“… Let’s just say… the age gap…” another dark chuckle sent more chills down his spine.
“… it turns me on. We’ll leave it at that.”
Preston didn’t know if he should have exhaled. So he did.
“I’m kind of in the same boat. Well, almost.”
The younger man was speaking. Preston listened.
“I got this Omega at home. My wife. She’s a young thing. Does whatever I want to her… she’s a good wife. But, I found myself attracted to this girl. She’s a high school girl. Young, sweet thing, ya know. And well… I couldn’t help myself. I got a little taste of her and I got addicted to her.”
It was at that moment, that Preston got up and turned around.
Both of the men stood up.
The realization showed on his face when he saw the young man, wearing a navy blue cap.
“You’re the Russell boy…” Horror showed in his voice. And when he looked at the older man, with the blue eyes, he saw it.
The familiar-looking black leather jacket.
The same one that you had worn. He saw that the man had a bite mark on his Mating Gland.
This was your Alpha.
Finally, at last, he saw the star that was embedded in his Sheriff uniform.
This was Sheriff Bodecker.
You were mated to Sheriff Lee freaking Bodecker.
“S-Sheriff… what are you doing in this neck of the woods? Shouldn’t you be in Knockemstiff?” Preston managed to squeak out awkwardly.
Lee cocked his head to the side dangerously. “And shouldn’t you be keeping your paws off on what’s mine?” He snarled. He saw the Alpha shake in his shoes.
A rat.
Preston Teagardin was no better than a rat that he could squish, nay, crush underneath his feet.
A worthless piece of shit.
Hell would be a nice place for him.
“I-”
Lee cocked his pistol. Just the very sound of him reloading made Preston gulp.
“Wait, I can explain-”
“I don’t think when you rape an Omega who’s just Presented and impregnate her, only to leave her to dry validates you to speak your shit,” Lee spoke coldly. “I don’t think seein’ my Omega’s name in your damn notebook is good either, but what the hell do I know, Preacher? She’s just my girl. My wife. My Omega. Mine.”
“You-”
“Oh, are you looking for this?” Lee couldn’t help but sneer. Unzipping his pocket and procuring the stupid thing in his hand, casually waving it at him. “Are you searching for your things too? The things Arvin here stole from ya? So you could kidnap my Omega so you could forcibly breed her? And not me, her Alpha? Her Omega chose me. Not you.”
“I don’t care,” Preston managed to say through gritted teeth, and even Lee raised an eyebrow. He would’ve commended the man for his stupidity. He was a goddamn piece of shit that stubborn. He’d give him that. But nothing else.
“I’m getting my pup.”
My pup.
Lee almost shot him right then and there, if it weren’t for Arvin intervening.
“You already got it. With my sister. Don’t bite off more than you can chew, motherfucker.” Arvin spat out venomously.
“Lenora… she’s delusional. She’s delusional, boy. I ain’t taking responsibility for a bastard’s pup.”
“No.”
Arvin cocked his father’s pistol.
“She was just lonely.”
When Preston tried to shield himself from Lee and Arvin using his Bible, it was too late. The first bullet pierced through the Holy Book.
The sounds of gunfire and popping noises echoed through the chapel. And suddenly, Preston Teagardin fell backwards onto the floor.
Lee was the first to lower his pistol. He walked up to the body, just to check and make sure that they had gotten him.
He bent down, putting his two fingers on his pulse on his neck.
There was no pulse.
The man was gone.
Thank fucking God.
“Praise Jesus. Amen.” He muttered to himself in relief.
Slowly, he stood up to his full height.
“Help me get the bullets out. We’ll put him in the body bag and into my trunk. How much gas you got in the car, Russell? We’re going to the next town over to bury him.”
Arvin, for the first time that day, breathed out a sigh of relief.
He had more than enough gas to sustain for the next town over.
“More than enough, Sheriff.”

Saint and Sinner  |  Arvin Russell x Male!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: This continues where the movie ends. You pick up Arvin as you are on your way to Cincinnati. But he’s awfully quiet, haunted by his past. Not the ideal companion for a long journey, but you make most of it.
Warnings: Smoking, drinking and smut
Words: 7814
-----
The orange glow of his cigarette illuminated the features underneath the cap for a brief moment. The cindering bud scattered across the tarmac as it parted with an almost spent cigarette. A puff of smoke blew from his lips. Carried away by the wind, into the forest beside him. Another car drove past him. A visible sigh racked his frame as he dragged his feet back into action. You spot the man from miles away. His appearance became more apparent the closer you got.
His intentions didn't change; you see his hand signal coming into view again. With his cigarette almost burned up, you leave your foot off the gas, and you let the car roll to a standstill a few yards after him. His jeans were dirty, torn, and worn long last past its intended lifetime. Just like the loose shirt hanging around his frame, the collar broad and wide. Blown by the wind. Spots of grime, sweat, and soil soaked in. A few locks of brown hair protruded from beneath his cap. Worn and colors fading. His expression was tired, and features that were gaunt like. Roadworkers were common in the area. And he sure looked the part.
"Hey there, where you be headin'?" You ask as he walks up to your window.
"I… haven't figured that out yet." He said in a beaten-down tone. "I was thinking somewhere north."
"I'm heading towards Cincinnati. You can travel along that way."
You could see him pondering, looking back down the road the way you came. If something was keeping him here. Reminding him of something. Before looking back at you. "I've been meaning to get up there."
"Well, hop on in." Leaning over to unlock the door. "I'm (Y/N)."
"Thank you...." Taking the last pull of his cigarette before tossing the smoldering remains on the floor. Closing the door behind him. "I didn't think anybody was gonna pick me up." Cradling the knapsack in his lap. And sharing a glance at you, forcing a small smile. Tightening his arms around his bag. His voice is dark and heavy. Carrying a sense of grim. "I'm Arvin."
"Rough day?"
"Hmmhm." He confirmed, avoiding any further eye contact. "Yeah…" Mumbling under his voice. Locked in a cold stare, reserved and absent.
There wasn't much to talk about. He sat there beside you, staring into the distance. You put the car into gear and steer back onto the road—a two-way road dissecting the large looming forest. Tall pine trees scattered up and beyond the horizon. As far as the eye can see. In the distance, a single-car drove ahead of you. A loaded truck passed by, and that was it. And as you pick up speed, a cool breeze of air began circulating through the open rolled windows. Following into the bending road, you spot the lay of the land ahead of you. A long stretch of road, rolling over the hills and valleys of the countryside. The branched off dirt roads dotted here and there all connected to a long stretch of road—a single lane connecting the smaller settlements to the cities. The road was uneven like most of them. The journey was going to be long. With the nob on the radio, you turn the volume down, the local radio broadcasting nothing noteworthy other then news and music replayed over and over again. Trying your best to keep your eyes on the road, you can't help but notice the boy's head bobbing. He must be the same age as you. Maybe a bit younger. His features were young, yet his expression was grave. He'd been through something. The way his eye pierced through the windshield. Roughed up by the countryside.
"You can sleep if you want, I'll wake you up once we hit town."
He just shook his head, fighting to stay awake. Arvin didn't want to fall asleep beside a stranger. Things were keeping him awake. His head heavy with sleep, burdened by his thoughts and deeds, bobbing on his neck. Swaying to the bounces and rockings of the car. His mind occupied elsewhere. Taking him back to times that were.
You weren't entirely sure if he was awake or not. He breathed somewhat heavily, and his head jerked back once in a while. "You… joining me?" You ask, motioning to the diner opposite the car. You hear a few grumbles, the sleepyhead still fighting to stay awake. His eyes small and narrow. With your coat hanging on your lap, ready to go, you give him some more time. He had been dozing off for little moments during the ride. But something was keeping him away, he'd jerk back into life, awake again and again. As if his nightmares were pushing him from his sleep. You slip open the pack of cigarettes and offer him one before taking one yourself. Something he didn't decline.
"I'll wait." He grumbled, voice hoarse and dry. "I'm not hungry."
"Hmm…" You watch him with interest, slowly awakening himself from the small naps. Rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, you notice the long brown locks of hair as he readjusted his cap, racking his fingers through as he coughed a little. Both still seated in the car, you quietly offer him a light. He leans over to you, catching the flame with his cigarette. "Something troubling you?" The question got out before you knew it.
The small flame of the lighter gave his appearance a somber look. He looked at you briefly through his lashes before seating back up. "It's nothin', just a… busy day." Pulling a big one from his cigarette. You remain seated like that for a while. Smoking a cigarette in peace and quiet. The parking lot at the dinner was almost empty, two cars and a lorry. From the car, you both watch the few customers dine and the young server walking up and down the diner. The sun was setting on the horizon, darkness slowly creeping into the surrounding woods.
"Here." Tossing the pack of cigarettes his way. "Just make sure no one gets into the car." You say and step outside, putting on your coat as the cold breeze crept upon you. "I'll be back in a bit."
"Don't worry about me." Sinking back into the chair. Taking another cigarette between his lips as he watches you enter the diner. Drawing a long pull and releasing a plume of smoke together with a long sorrowful sigh. Arvin was all alone in this world. Sitting in a strangers car, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. He couldn't help but feel pity for himself. More and more questions began flooding his mind. Where should he go? What should he do? Would they be looking for him? And most importantly, did he do right? He rolled up the windows more to block out the cold wind blowing in. Arvin was alone once again. He wanted to. It's what he choose. Trust was hard to come by. Especially after all that had happened. He couldn't trust anyone. He sank deeper into his seat. His gaze stuck in nothing but mindless thoughts.
"Shit!" Arvin cursed, jumping in his seat. His instinct kicked in, holding a charged fist at whoever tried to get to him. But as he looked better, he could see a familiar face beside the car.
"Sorry, didn't mean to." You apologize while opening his door. "But I was wondering if you brought your jacket? Didn't see it on you, and you know, since you won't join me, you better get dressed. Gets pretty cold outside."
"Have my denim jacket with me." He said. Looking a bit puzzled by your concerns. "I'll be fine."
"Here." Slipping off your coat and handing it to him. "That denim jacket won't keep you warm. You sure you're not coming with me?"
He shrugged it off without even looking at you. You also let if go, and continue inwards. Like a typical diner, seating benches row after row. There was space for no more than fifteen to twenty people. At the end of the path cutting across the diner sat a jukebox. A nifty apparatus that was popping up everywhere. Even in small places like this. Behind the small bar with stools in flashy red and white accents all over stood the young server. She gave you a kind smile. Through a small gap in the wall, you could see the kitchen. The smell of bacon and fries welcome you—a sure pleasant one since you were in need of a good meal after such a long drive. A few seating away from the door sat an older couple, behind them, the lorry driver—just a quiet evening in the diner. You take a seat further up, close to the window to keep an eye on your car. And most importantly, your passenger. At first, he sat in the car, smoking one after the other, before finally dressing himself in your coat. Cold must be creeping into the metal.
In your mind, you couldn't understand nor figure out why he'd stay outside. He stretched his legs outside the car several times but regretted it moments later. The weather is getting a grip on him soon enough. Surprisingly enough, sleep didn't bother him anymore. Dinner alone didn't take long. The meal was good, a nice piece of tender meat with fries and a coke—a real classic. When you dine alone, you tend to finish quickly. Some small talk with the server might drag it out. But not tonight.
During your meal, you browse through the local paper. Read in upon the local and national news. Check the adverts and job offers. Ponder about work, family, and other matters. But somehow, your thoughts keep getting pulled away—more than once. And when you look up from your meal, your eyes automatically divert to your car. Catching his eye. The distance wasn't that far. But the contact was there. And feel caught nonetheless. He wasn't staring at you. But you keep catching each other's gaze—more than once. Your meal was interesting, but outside was something more worth your attention.
The red neon lights illuminated the entranceway and part of the parking lot. You were flooded by it once you stepped outside. In the small cluster of buildings on this side of the road, this one stood out the most. A local watering hole further up was the only other noteworthy building. The rest was wrapped in darkness. Two lamp posts illuminated the main street. Furthermore, no light. Just quiet and darkness. All in all, the small place was a sad display; most buildings were dilapidated, poorly maintained, and without much charm. Life went one elsewhere, but here, somehow, time seemed to stand still. A chill ran up your spine to tell you it was time for another stretch on the road.
The windows were rolled up all the way, except the one on his side—a small opening near the top, big enough to rid excess ash from his cigarette. You take a seat behind the wheel again, placing the paper bag beside him. A look of surprise shoots across his face; the smell must have caught on. "It's for you." You say while starting the car. The headlights illuminate the parking, and it's silent metal habitants.
"You didn't have to." Coughing his smoker's breath away, peaking into the bag. "But 't smells good."
"Dig in, my friend." Pushing the bag further towards him. "Can't imagine you're not hungry." A thin, forced smile softened his otherwise tired and lackluster expression. "It'll do you good."
"Thank you." He says while looking up at you. You feel the words carry their message across. The way he looks at you, straight into your eyes. "That's... real kind of you." Taking the contents from the bag. He carefully begins to unfold the wrap from the steaming hot burger on his lap. A sip from the cold milkshake seems to make him whole again. So did the first bite into the burger, leaning back as he slowly lets the flavors overwhelm him. "That's real good." He nods. "Yeah..."
"Good to hear…" Giving him a smile as you bring the car into action. The road ahead was dark and still so many miles to make. "Still got plenty of miles to go."
With the headlights of your car being the only source of light in the vicinity, driving became a tiresome experience. Staring ahead of you. No proper focal point. Just the road, two beams of light, and a pitch-black horizon. The sound coming from the radio was nothing special, pretty much the same as the jukebox from earlier. Your back began to feel sore and worn, annoying you. Small talk had been minimal. Arvin wasn't much of a talker. Not a storyteller. He kept his answers short. Therefore the whole chatter didn't have any deep subjects. Just plain chit chat about work and life. The work he did. The news. Yet, not mentioning his family. He avoided it. For a reason, you guess.
"What's there for you in Cincinnati?" He asked. For once, you were taken aback by his interest. Managing to speak a whole sentence. You chuckle to yourself lightly. Arvin noticed but didn't react.
"Home." You said, giving him a smile as he looks at you. "Been on a family visit for a couple of days."
"Hmmm…" He shifts his gaze from you back to the road. "Parents?"
"Yeah, I... used to live there. Farm life wasn't for me." You said. "Have you figured out where you're going?"
"Not yet." He sighed, sinking back further down in his seat. "Thank you for the coat. Glad the heater is back on again." Warming his hands in front of the vent. "It's cold."
"The least I can do."
The drive from the diner to the motel was a mere four-hour drive. Again in full darkness, only with a few more cars here and there. You knew the route for a certain bit. Arvin didn't pay attention to the road numbers when you tried to recall the last one. Arvin just raised his shoulder questionably. He didn't know. And it wasn't his fault, but you were trying to involve him in the process nonetheless. At least try to make the best of your company. When you stopped, he did join you looking on the map. Decked out onto the hood of the car, finding your way across the spiderweb of roads. He did look. But didn't say much. Smoking a cigarette, nothing more. In the last miles fifty or so miles, you made a stop to refuel, bought another pack of cigarettes, some small snacks, and went on for the final stretch. Arvin was said very little. Like before.
"Alright... so." You said, waiting for Arvin to catch up. "I've booked a room for the night here, perh-"
"I better go." He nodded, with a notion of defeat in posture. Adjusting his cap over his long curls again. With his gaze to the floor, he throws the knapsack over his shoulder.
"That's not what I meant." You chuckle out laughter, scratching yourself behind your ear. His eyes widen as he looks up, you see the grip on the strap tighten. "It's not that late." You say. "How about a beer? I know a bar further up. On me."
His pursed lips and a downcast glance told you enough. One hand on the strap of his bag, he tucked the other away in his pocket. A sigh followed that was louder than even he expected. The shadow created underneath his cap by the lamppost was enough to be unable to read in expression. Or see his eyes.
From what you have seen from this man, this Arvin. The words he spoke were few. Very few. But the eyes didn't. Once you looked into those eyes, they didn't deceive. They tell you more than his words could make out. He removed the last cigarette from the package you gave him. "Got a light?" He asked with a heavy voice. From your pocket, you flip open your lighter. Before giving you one more look. "Thank you (Y/N)." And with that, he starts walking away from you.
"Arvin." His steps slowed down before glancing back in your direction. Not at you. "Take good care of yourself."
He simply nodded, blew the smoke from his lips, and walked away. You try to shake it off and continue to check-in. The small room was furnished like any other. A small room centered around the bed, a tiny bathroom in the back, a wardrobe to one side, a chair to the other. Colors were near the same throughout the rooms. This was simple, dark, and drab greens. An old model of a television stood on a wooden counter near the wall. You seat yourself into the chair and tune into the first channel of only six. There wasn't much time that went by as sleep began to creep in. Eyelids heavy with sleep. Thoughts turned to none. Gazing mindlessly at the black and white images dancing on the screen.
You veer up in your seat, completely awake—two knocks on your door, loud and powerful, resonated through the room. You didn't have a bad conscience, as some would suggest. But this was far from expected. With your eyes wide open, heart beating in your chest, you approach the little spyhole in the door. Focusing one eye on…
"Arvin?" You pull open the door with a more than a surprised look. "How' d-... W-...?"
He'd clearly been beaten up by the weather. His breath fanned out before him like a small cloud, the cold from outside, riding up against you. Bringing your senses back to life again. It must have been more than an hour since you last saw him. Outside was cold, like before, windy and above all dark as the night could be. He reeled from the cold. Shaking to his very core. "Can I come back on that offer?"
"Of course." Taking a step back and holding the door open to him. "C'mon in."
"Thank you." He said, rubbing his hands together feverishly. "Tis damn cold outside." Standing uncomfortably in the room. Rocking on his heels, trying to warm himself up.
"It is…" Closing the door behind him, you don't know what to expect. But a sense of relief did surface for a brief moment. Something about him made your heart flutter. "So... what happened?"
Arvin didn't look pleased with himself. Sighing deeply, forcing his gaze to the floor if he was about to confess something. "Nothin' happened. That's the problem. I..." He shook his head, as if conflicted by his train of thought. Embarrassed to admit something.
"I'm just curious, Arvin. No more."
"I... didn't know where else to go..." He confessed, shoulders sinking, head hanging low.
"It's ok." Feeling pity for the man. What you didn't know was that Arvin had been standing there, in the darkness, for a long time. He'd walked the streets alone. Trains weren't there. Money he didn't have. Nor any family. Lost in his thoughts. Alone and cold. Without anything but a knapsack filled with old belongings. What was he going to do? He was a lost cause either way.
What he needed was hope. A light at the end of the tunnel. So he returned, standing in the distance, shivering from the cold in some alleyway. Catching the last glimpse of you as you unloaded your suitcase. Arvin had wondered for how long he should stay there. Was ten minutes long enough? Half an hour, maybe? He troubled himself with all sorts of thoughts, as he observed the small window which a little bit of light shone through.
"You mind if I...?" Pointing at the glass and bottle of liquor beside the chair—another reason for you why sleep began to set in earlier than usual.
"No, not at all." He handed you the glass with your remaining bit, downing it in one go. "It helps me sleep from time to time." Releasing a small hiss as is burned down your throat. Watching Arvin putting his lips to the bottle. Downing a few good swigs. "Might help you as well."
"Hmmm... I sure could use it." He looked at you with dreary eyes. "Sure could use it..." Wiping the drool from his lips with the back of his hand. His whole body was still shaking and shuddering on his legs. The glass trembling in his hand. You could see the pale white skin of his fingers gripping the glass. They were whiter than his grime stained shirt.
"So, what's your plan?" You ask, taking a comfortable position leaning against the wall.
Arvin had thought about the question beforehand. If he was going to escape the former life, he needed to go far away. Somewhere where he couldn't be found easily. The city was a good start. "Could I… travel with you… to Cincinnati?" He asked with a slight hint of hesitation in his voice. "If you don't I…"
"No problem." You said, cutting him off. He might not have been the perfect companion from the start. But you have to start somewhere. Not everyone earns their trust as quickly. "If all goes well, we'll hit Cincinnati tomorrow around noon. You can figure out what to do next on our way down there."
"I appreciate that." He smiled thinly. "Thank you, mister."
"Alright, alright." You nod and head for your suitcase. "And it's (Y/N). No more mister." You warn him with a raised finger and a smile. "I think we might be of the same age."
"Twenty-two."
"See." Confirming your suspicions. From there, you sort some clothing out. A clean white shirt, pair of jeans, and a sweater. You walk over to the door and take your coat from the hanger. "Go take a bath, freshen up. And those are yours." Pointing to the fresh pair of clothes on the foot end of the bed. You slip on your coat and pull a cigarette from the pack in your pocket. "I know what you're thinking. I'll wait outside."
Arvin looked at you with suspicious eyes, as if you had a whole different intention. He stared at you while you unlocked the door and took the keys. "Are you gonna call the cops?" His entire body stiffened as he asked the question. Terrified of the answer.
"What?" You chuckle into laughter. "No. What makes you think that?"
"Then why are you doing this?!" He shot back. "Why do all of this?! Why give me clothes?"
"You came back for a reason, Arvin." You didn't need to think about it long. One of two things was possible. Either good or bad. And soon you would find out which. “I'm just trying to help. But feel free to leave..." Taking a step aside, holding the door open for him. Letting the cold wind wash in. "You may have trust issues. But I don't." Revealing your wallet from your back pocket. "I know exactly what's in here." Tossing it on the bedsheets. "If you change your mind, or have a suspicion..." Nudging towards the wallet. "Have a go, might survive a couple days on it. Figure things out."
"I won't." He said resolutely. Taking a stance.
"I know." You nodded. "But I'm trying to make a point here. I'm not bad, either. And I know you're a good lad."
He stared at you with troubled eyes. "You don't know that." Shaking his head, his jaw locked, and lips pursed thin. "I have done things." His voice was dark, and spoke with a sense of guilt. "I have sinned." He spoke it like some warning.
"We all have." You preached wisely. "And you don't need faith to do it."
"What did you just say?!"
"You have no faith, Arvin. At least, not anymore. You either lost it or… something happened." The tension was thick. The way he looked at you. A sight that made you shudder. If he might turn hostile at any moment. Yet the more you look into his eyes. The more lost you feel yourself. Something was amiss with him. "You don't thank the Lord for your food. Nor mention him in every third sentence like those folk down in the countryside." Arvin's nostrils flared as he listened and let the words sink in. "I've seen it without my own family. Everyone there puts their trust in faith. But it only gives false hope."
"You don't know." Averting his gaze. "I'm not like one of them."
"That's my point."
"What about all this?" Throwing hands at the clothes. "Won't they miss these at home?"
"My wallet would be worse." You shake your head while suppressing laughter. "There's also a lock on the door in the bathroom. If you don't trust me, that is." Taking the cigarette in between your lips. "Which is up to you." And step outside. The howling wind welcoming you as you struggle to catch the flame. Turning your back to the wind, facing Arvin again. "Also, I live alone. They… don't give a damn for giving away a pair of clothes." Shooting him a smile. "I'll be back in thirty." Closing the door behind you.
Forty minutes had passed when you returned. With caution, you unlocked the door, careful not to scare or walk into him. Not to your surprise, Arvin appeared in a better-suited attire than earlier. Standing beside the bed with his denim jacket on. His hair freshly combed, and the dirt and stains removed from his face and neck. In his hand, he held a cigarette, the other tucked into this pocket. He looked so much better. Cleaner, fresher and more man than before. You both locked eyes on each other. Still not sure whether the tension had cleared from earlier.
But the cold had done enough on you, your nose was running, and the wind had found every little inch of exposed skin. Freezing you to your very bone. "Good God…." Cursing something more while sniffing your nose. "I'm freezing." And close the door behind you. Warming your hands together while looking at Arvin. "You look much better." Reaching for the bottle for a swig. "Hope it did you good." Sneezing your nose after in your handkerchief.
An adorable smile cracked his features as he flipped away the half-smoked cigarette onto the street. Chuckling to himself as he closed the door, stepping into the room. His smile brightened the room. "It did." He said with a terribly precious smile. "Thank you (Y/N)."
"You're welcome." Planting yourself on the edge of the bed, rubbing the sleepers from your eyes. The room had warmed up adequately since you turned up the radiators before you left for a cigarette outside. The warmth wrapping around you like a blanket. Feeling your ears glow like never before.
"I was about to come look for ya."
"Oh..." Releasing a long stretched yawn. "Well, I'm here." You rub your face wrecked with sleep.
"This is yours." Handing back your wallet.
"Thank you. What'd you do with it?"
"Nothing. Like you said."
"I knew you would." Flashing him a smile. In that short moment of eye contact, you notice a small shimmer in his eyes. It was brief. Something had happened.
"Thank you (Y/N). And my apologies."
"I'm just glad you're still here."
"I owe you that beer." He said, nudging towards the door. "Should we?"
"We'll figure that out later. I'm feeling tired." You knew full well Arvin had changed for the occasion. You detected a hint of disappointment in his reaction—the snort of air through his nose. But sleep had set in. With the cold crept into your bones, you longed for the warm sheets of a bed. Not a cold, stale beer in some backwater bar. "I've been to the reception… and uh... there's another room available. But…-"
"I don't want you to go through that much trouble for me." He raised his voice.
"I only wanted to say, I just... don't have that kind of money to spare right now. And-"
"I don't expect you to. You've already done enough." He smiled thankfully, but unexpected. "It's my own fault. I'll sleep in the car, or on the flo-..."
"Oh, don't be ridiculous." You cut him short. "Is that the alcohol talkin'?"
"There's only one bed for the two of us." He said, his thin smile more of a joking kind than anything else. "It has the space, but…"
"As long as you don't elbow me. I'm fine with it." You yawn out loud, stretching your limbs. "I just need some rest. I'll take this side-" Patting the cushion beside you. "-you the other."
"Fine." He snorted and sat on the other side. "Fine…" With the switch on your side of the bed, you dim most of the lights. Turning up the heat slightly on the thermostat, you make sure neither one gets cold in case someone pulls the cover from one another. The sheets were big enough, but just in case. You thought about sleeping in the chair, or the car. But neither of those were good options. As far as you know, a cheaper motel was miles ahead. Not that you had the money to spend on another room. But…
"G'night." Arvin mumbled while pulling his socks off. You glance back as his comment pulled you from your thoughts. A shudder of some sort short up through your spine. Followed by a growing glow of warmth. Boiling your insides slowly. Churning your stomach. In that instance, that moment you glanced back, Arvin sat at the edge of the bed. Just like you, but without a shirt. His broad shoulder and masculine back did something to you, you couldn't describe. The air stocked in your throat. Your eyes meet, sudden and short, as he turned his head slightly, his gaze locking into yours momentarily as he glanced back over his shoulder. The brown locks of hair dangling in front of him.
"Goodnight." Stripping yourself of the remaining pieces of clothing. Feeling the motion of Arvin shifting on the mattress, slipping himself under the covers. You turn the lights off with the switch beside your bed. Letting your eyes adjust to the darkness, and slide under the covers on the opposite side. Arvin lay on his back, gaze to the ceiling. And join him in doing so. Leaving a small space in-between. Like a neutral zone. It was mutually agreed without exchanging a single word about it. One arm propped under your cushion, the other resting on your stomach. Yet your heart hammered in your chest. You were glowing, cheeks burning. Not from the alcohol. Not from the cold. You were far more awake than you ever have been that day. Eyes wide open. Swallowing the lump down your throat. You just keep your gaze to the ceiling, but you wanted to… to look beside you.
"At what time do you want to leave tomorrow morning?" He said quietly, feeling his gaze shift towards you. Every bit of movement on the mattress made your heart pump harder. Laying on your back, the bed wasn't small. You made yourself small, close to the edge, a bit of cover draped over you. Yet he felt so close by. The sound of him breathing alone made you…
"I… I... d-don't know… We'll see…" You clear your throat, keeping your eyes in afront. "We'll see." The everlasting silence returning again. The night turned dark and quiet. No cars driving past. No birds singing. No music from across the street. There was nothing, just silence. You don't know how long you've been laying there, staring at the ceiling. The tension building up. Listening to his breathing. You can't help it; you're too focused on it. Only the howling wind outside, the rustling of branches outside, brought a change of sound—every lick of lips, movement of his tongue in his mouth. You could hear it.
"(Y/N)?" He asked, rolling his head on the cushion, meeting your gaze for a second as you looked over. The cushions touched each other, that wasn't the problem. They were big enough, but the space between the two of you. That wasn't. The touch of arms was enough for you to jump a little.
"Yes… I'm awake." You sighed and continue to spit out a lie blatantly. "It's the weather. I always have trouble falling asleep when it's windy." You glance at him. "And you?"
"I don't know..." He said, bringing the conversation to a dead stop. You swing yourself onto the edge of the bed and lift yourself onto your legs. Making your way to the bathroom and lower yourself on the throne. Relieving yourself of the necessary. Before rounding the corner of the room, you halted for a moment. Standing there, several meters away from the bed. Even in the dark, you could see Arvin lying on his back. The outlines of his body, masculine shapes draped under the covers. You wish he didn't see you standing there. But you could feel his eyes shifting towards your direction. You shuffle back towards the bed and crawl back under. A sigh escaped you, trying to focus your mind on something else. The rustling leaves of the trees outside. The ticking radiator. The rumbling clouds. Time crept by slowly. Your eyelids felt heavy, yet sleep didn't seem to set in. "I can feel the sheets… shaking. You ok?"
"Oh, yeah...I' m-... I'm fine." You said with a sigh. Scratching the back of your head. "It's cold." Tugging the sheets in and around you. "That's all."
Everything beneath you moved and swayed. You expect he must have rolled onto his side, perhaps facing your way. The thought alone made you… warm. His breathing again remaining the only sound you could focus on. Added to that, the increasing warmth radiating from his side of the bed. You could still feel your toes being cold, hands numb, and ears glowing. Yet the heat was creeping into you. As if the radiator had crept under the covers. Was it Arvin…? Was he closer? The thought alone was tantalizing. Sending the hairs rising on your harm. You notice your breath becoming irregular, shuddering even.
"I should-...You tried to say, turning towards him by rolling onto your back. But you let out a small gasp in a semi terrified, panicking state. It all went so fast. You bumped up against him. Body against body. Warm and inviting. Yet in your reflex, you try to roll back on your side.
But his hand… His hand held in your place, resting on your hip. "You're freezing..." He breathed heavily, fanning along the skin of your neck. Shivers rushed across your spine as his hand lowered. Feeling your cold body with his hands. Shaking lightly as he touched upon your frame. Trailing up and down with his fingers. Your senses were in complete overdrive. Every point of contact was intensified by your mind. Slow and careful. You were numbed on the spot. Feeling your shoulder resting against his chest. Strong and masculine, like you glimpsed upon earlier.
"Y-Yes… Ar-... Arvin…" The words came out stuttering. You couldn't help it. Your hands shook, and your body was heating up quicker than ever before. "M-Maybe I… I should g-g-get a b...b-ath."
"You could have..." He said as his breath fanned against your neck. Sending shivers down your spine. The mattress moved again, Arvin began closing the distance between the two of you. If you had a chance to stop him now, it was right here. His hand moved from side to your stomach, his arm wrapping around your waist. Behind you, you feel the heat literally rising. His entire body came in contact with yours. Torso flat against your back, legs cupped by his. "But there's a reason you didn't..." He whispered into your ear. "It's the same why I came back." Before you had a chance to react, let alone sigh of relief. His lips followed, nose trailing along the back of your neck. You could feel the sloppy kiss burning on the skin of your neck. “Isn’t it, (Y/N)”?
It made everything different. All this strange tension that had circulated for the past hours had manifested in this one kiss. It burned barriers, tore down walls, and fulfilled your wildest thoughts. You let out a groaning moan as your body stiffened as he moved closer onto you. Sliding his hand further across your stomach, pulling you in closer. Feeling the warmth and curves of his body, pressed against you.
You try to regain your senses, not resisting his hold on you, but instead, turn towards him. And he let you, his hand that pulled you in, now slid along your frame, fingers roaming from your stomach to your back. Finally coming even with him. Even in the dark, this up close, you see the stunning outlines of his features. The dimples on his cheeks and freckles dotting his skin. Leaning into his lips, the kiss was everything you wanted. Soft and warm, but a particular ferocity to it. A gasp escaped your lips as you parted, cupping the back of his head with your hand. "Say it…(Y/N)" He said with a slightly shaking voice. The very mention of your name, in that harsh tone, made you shudder in excitement. "-tell me I'm right..." Pulling your lips back onto his. Arvin was the moving force in this; he could play you like anything else. And you would let him. "Say it… (Y/N)...You wanted this to happen..."
He still continued to advance on you. "I've been through enough…" His one hand touched on your inner thigh. Moving up every so slowly. "I've seen so much darkness." He said, pressing a kiss to your chest. Looking up at you as you groaned. "I don't want to anymore." Pushing himself further onto you. Shifting his weight towards you. And you let it happen, rolling onto your back. His lips take the skin of your shoulder for granted. Leaving behind hickeys. "I want it to change." He muttered in between the kisses, moving further along with the lines of your body, from the shoulder to your collarbone and chest. Forcing the wind from your lungs as his body followed along, resting on top of you.
"Shit, A...A-Arvin." You freeze on the spot, feeling his member pressed against you. Long rigid and firm, poking wantingly into you. The nerves in your system get the better of you. "I...I...I... can… help…and…a-and... I want to..." Every word took an effort to speak as he grinded against you slowly. Searching for friction, taking every ounce of concentration to utter a word. "But… B-But there a-are... other w-w-ways?!"
"No... The way you look at me." At the same time, his hand found its way to your pelvis. You had felt yourself growing in mere seconds. Blood racing your system. And now, those outlines, throbbing in your shorts, were traced by his fingers. "You make me feel like… like... I've never felt... in years." He groaned.
"Please A-Arvin... Don't mistake my kindness... f-for love. I… I-..." The touch of your cold hands on his warm, nurturing skin was everything you could ask for. His touch rocking your very being. The feeling of his naked body on yours. Your mind is almost blank. Captivated by his motions. Wanting more.
"Say it… (Y/N)..." He growled while kissing you hard. Your lips trembled upon his, shaking from pure ecstasy racing through your system. You can't help but kiss back. You wanted more. But you didn't have the courage. Thank God he did. “Tell me I’m right.”
"Y-Yes…A-Arvin…" You confirmed wholeheartedly, with a full-fledged groan of excitement. “Yes!” But were silenced in the moment again by his lips. Cradling your cheeks in his hands. Your heart fluttered, leaving you absolutely breathless. A smile grew on your face. And you could feel his growing against your lips. "Arvin... P-P-Please..."
"You either stop me if you want me to...." Hooking his finger on the band of your shorts. Adding finger by finger, until his entire hand slid in. He looked at you with small eyes, a flicker of innocence shining through. “Or you help me...” He growled. "But… what I'm about to do... I do because I want to." A smile showed on his otherwise troubled face. A smile you had never seen before. So soft, so kind. So loving. It showed a side of Arvin, you didn't expect to see. "Not because I have to… I… want to." Smacking his lips on yours. His hand palming your boner. Your breath stoked in your throat, feeling unable to respond. His fingers sliding along the pulsating flesh of your cock. Initiating the first strokes as he forced away your shorts. The covers were no longer there, and your eyes had accustomed to the darkness. The little light that the moon shone into the room was more than enough. His body resting against yours, feeling the heaving of his chest and the moving of his body. Every heartbeat, every breath he took. You felt it.
He stroked rough, with an intensity you couldn't match as your shaking hand reached for his. Even in the darkness, it stood out. The stiffness poking into your side, reminding you. His groaned breaths said enough as you brought them together. More than a handful for him. It's thrilling and highly intoxicating, invigorating, flesh against flesh. There was nothing else but his member on yours. His cockhead rubbing against yours. His shaft rock hard and wet. The veins and ridges of his, pulsating and desperate. Craving for more. A sensation you wish would never end.
The position was awkward at first. Arvin laying half on top of you. Cocks brushing in the middle. But as the heat rises, the momentum picks up. It all fell in place. With his one hand, he stroked, long and hard. The other arm, wrapped around your neck. Holding onto you.
His moans were short but charismatic. Your eyes get drawn to his every growl. Massaging your erections together in a lustful vigor. Everything was intensified. The veins on his arm showed. The muscles rippled in motion. The pressure of his worked masculine chest forcing into you. His glances helped you work together to a common goal. A shuddering touch of your fingers along his frame forced out more sounds than you could bear. Droplets of wetness shimmer in the moonlight. Holding them together in perfect pairs.
The shaking intensified, for both of you. Groaning to each other's touches. Senses rising beyond the unthinkable. As Arvin came first. His motions became sloppy, irregular, and twitching. His grip faltered as he came. His body trembled on yours, groaning as he held onto you for dear life. It's quick and messy. As you take over his grip. Struggling with the wetness and hard sensations in your hand. But it's helping you reach your high even faster. The reality of your hand holding them both together is hypnotizing. Even more when you feel him reaching his climax. He held you, with his strong arms, tight against his body. Groaning your name as all looked up at you. Locks of brown hair, tangled and messy, hanging before his eyes. His eyes widened, big and full of emotion. Gasping for air as you stroked harder. You bring your lips onto his, closing his gasping mouth. He moaned and shook through and through. The fierce kiss interrupted by his climax, he parted with a shuddering gasp as you both glanced down in between you. These boys did look at explosions.
And it sure was mesmerizing. His pulsating and jolting climax spilled over the pair. From the slit, a string of cum streamed from his cock. The first shots went airborne, splattering your pelvis and stomach. Each stroke of your hand initiates another wave. It began to cover your hand and both lengths. It's slippery, wet, and extremely satisfying to force out of someone else then yourself. Especially when he took over once again. You didn't need much more. The firm grip of his hand returned once again. He was strong. And his grip was more than satisfying. Heavenly. Regaining his breath on your chest. Focused on one thing. You suck the air into your lungs, almost if you need that to force your load out. The pressure builds up fast enough. And Arvin went for it. Stroking every last drop from you. Turning everything in a panting mess of growled, exhilarated lovemaking and passion. You both heaved for air in silence. Arvin still on top of you. In turn, stealing kisses from each other.
"I… have…" You muttered through your heavy breathing. "so... many questions..." You caught a glimpse of a smile on Arvin's face as he moved off the bed. Returning moments later with a towel. Hunched on his knees beside you, he cleaned every drop from you. With a careful finger, he inspected your areas to see if there was any left. His touch is slow and somewhat sensual. Dragging his finger over your, now, glowing skin. "Arvin?"
"Hmmm." He hummed softly, pulling the covers towards himself and began to cuddle up to you. Arvin completely naked, slowly cradling onto you. You can still feel his member rubbing into your skin. "Your warm again." He said while looking at you. His eyes had more life to it. Slowly putting an arm around your neck. Cuddling himself up on your chest. Pulling the cover along with him. Resting his head on your chest. You can't resist the temptation to twirl your fingers through those brown curls. Long and beautiful.
"What happened to you?"
He sighed and sank deep into your embrace. Folding himself around you. Embracing you. "I have sinned… and lost my faith." He said peacefully. "You were right." Pressing a small kiss to your chest. "Parts of me have died… and more. But here… today... I found a piece of me… I didn't know I lost."
You didn't expect those kinds of words from him. For a man with as few as his, this had emotion. For once you didn't have to read his eyes, or his expression to know what he meant what he said. A slight snore shook you from your thoughts as you trailed your fingers through his hair, adjusting yourself into a comfortable position. Arvin didn't move. He snored softly in your embrace. He looked peaceful. At ease. Curled up to you like that. You didn't track time, but you had a feeling, deep down inside of him, something was healing. He was sleeping, without being awoken by his nightmares. At least not yet.
Only the name remained, muttered softly from his lips.
A girl?

Party Favors
Tumblr media
Summary: Cops are called after a noise complaint. The town’s sheriff arrives at your Halloween Party.
Pairing: Modern Day Lee Bodecker x Reader
Warnings: smut, oral sex (male), degrading language, manipulation, age gap (reader is 20)
Parents gone for the weekend.
What better way to celebrate Halloween? It’s a small town and your house was the ideal place for a party!
“Are you okay?” You questioned as your best friend pointed to the window.
“Hello... don’t tell me you’re hiding from your ex” you laughed trying to lighten the mood as she shook her head.
“No. Worse. I think someone called the cops” Your friend bit her lip, as she grabbed her purse.
“Look, I don’t need to get some ticket by the sheriff. I think I’m just going to head out before he comes.” You sighed lightly at your friends words.
Great! Leave me here with this mess, even though you helped plan the damn party.
Before you knew it, the siren of the sheriff’s cop car alerted everyone. Some of the less drunken students got the memo and began to scatter away. While others, truly didn’t give a damn.
You groaned lightly, peeking through the blinds of the window to see Sheriff Bodecker exit his car.
You watched as he walked with confidence towards your front door. Your eyes roaming him from top to bottom. He could definitely manhandle you if he wanted. Clearly, he was way too old for you.
But god, did he look good in a uniform.
“We meet again, Miss Y/N. You know I thought after your first year in college, you would have learned your lesson” Bodecker explained but the only thing you could concentrate on was the way his tongue played with the toothpick in his mouth.
Your eyes fixacted on the other ways he could put his tongue into use.
“Y/N”
You try to hide your blush before meeting his eyes. “Sorry Sheriff... What’s the problem here?” You question shyly, your arms crossed as you lean against your front door.
He licked his lips, his eyes roaming your body lingering a little too long on your breasts. Maybe that was your fault as you decided to dress up as a sexy devil, the outfit exentuating your breasts dangerously so.
He chuckles dramatically. “You drunk, darlin’... because that’s a stupid question if you ask me”. You choke on his words, your face feeling hot.
“Got a noise complaint. It is Halloween after all.” Lee casually states, stepping in close as he tries to peek into your house. His hands press on your hips and you could smell his cologne.
“Mind if I check the premise” He raises an eyebrow. “Unless you’re hiding something from me...” You shake your head, widening your door, as your house is now empty. The last stranglers leaving through the back door.
Lee steps inside. Empty red cups carelessly thrown on the rug and table. Busted beer cars on the side. Even accessories from people’s outfits are on the floor. He shakes his head as he kicks the can.
“Quite some party you had, darlin” You cross your legs from the way his new nickname for you, rolls off his tongue.
“Now, where is he?” You furrow your eyebrows, watching Lee’s movements as he enters the kitchen. He places his sheriff hat on the counter. You follow behind him.
“Who?”
“Your boyfriend.”
You start to clean up the cans off the floor. Embarrassed by the mess from the party. “In my dreams” you simply state, laughing nervously as you dump the cans into a garbage bag.
Lee walks behind you, trapping you between the kitchen counter. He lifts your chin up, his blue eyes boring into yours. Goosebumps shooting up on your skin.
“Now, don’t lie to me” his voice becomes lower and rougher. “Someone has to be takin’ good care of this cunt. Maybe Arvin Russell... he’s about your age” You gasp at his words, your body becoming tense as you fingers wrap around the marbel counter.
Lee spreads your thighs in an instant, his slight hard on throbbing against you.
“I leave you with too many warnings. I think this time, you return the favor” he smirks slyly, his thumb stroking your cheek and then your lips. You open your mouth slightly and Lee pushes his thumb inside. Your tongue swirling around him as his eyebrows jump up in suprise and a smirk grows on your face.
You weren’t expecting this for the night, but you craved Bodecker for the longest.
Always imagined how he tasted, how good he was in bed. Lee was right. He gave you multiple warnings throughout your college years. Your friends stating the Sheriff had a weird secret obsession with you.
“He’s a sad lonely fuck, Y/N! His wife left him and now he probably jerks off into Pepsi Cups to the thought of you!” You shook your head and covered your ears. “Guys stop! You don’t know what you’re talking about” Your friends scoffed at your foolishness.
Lee palms himself lightly as you suck on his thumb. Before you knew it, you were popping off his thumb and ready to suck something bigger. You bit your lip in hesitation before sinking down on the hardwood floor. The outline of his cock pushing against his trousers.
“Don’t act like you didn’t want this for the longest. I see the way you look at me. Come on, take out my cock, darlin. Play with it.” He breaths in deeply as his hands find their way through your hair.
You fumble with his zipper before pulling him out, your eyes widening at the size. Holy shit... Lee’s eyes darken, grabbing his cock and dragging it against your lips before he uses his cock to slap your cheek. You moan in ecstasy as His pre-cum smears on your lips. You lick your lips before gently sucking on his tip.
Lee groans roughly before pushing himself in your mouth. You whimper lightly as his hand grips your hair pulling it into a makeshift ponytail.
It felt good but so wrong. Your knees digging into your floor as you gave a blowjob to your Town’s sheriff. Nevertheless, you pumped the rest of his shaft but Lee wanted more. He starts finding a frantic rythm causing you to gag.
“Fuck—! You like my big cock.. better than these college boys! Yeah, it is!” He praised thrusting in and out of your mouth as he threw his head back in pleasure. “Just like that, taking my cock like a good little whore” His cock hitting the back of your throat with each thrust, as tears ran down your eyes.
“I always knew you were good for something darlin’, gunna cum in that pretty mouth and you’re going to fuckin’ swallow it all” You whimpered at his words. Your mouth being used as his personal fuck toy.
He rolled his eyes back getting closer to his release before pulling out of you. Your appearance was messy. Mascara running down your face. Your saliva and his pre-cum connecting from your lips to his cock. You looked up at him panting softly, your thighs rubbing against yourself wishing they could get their own release.
“Stick your tongue out, gunna paint your mouth and face” he spat, as he pumped himself fast you opened your mouth fully.
“Fuck— I’m cumming!” His release falling onto your tongue and face. You swallowed him all, even dragging your fingers across your cheeks and sucking on any last remnants of his cum.
You stood up quickly, your nails raking over his body. You wanted more. Kiss him. Have him touch you.
Anything.
Lee stroked your cheek lazily, looking at you with lustful eyes.
“My turn?” You dared to ask, tilting your head as you gave him innocent eyes. You leaned in to kiss him but he pushed you back by your hips.
“What—?”
“This is your punishment, darlin” he put his half softening cock back into his boxers, lifting up his trousers and zipping himself up. He grabbed his sherrif hat from the counter and placed it on his head. You whined lightly at his actions following him like a little puppy.
“That’s not fair-! You can’t just—“ you huffed dramatically. Your hormones spiking up with each move.
“Shit, don’t be so dramatic” he slapped your ass roughly before casually heading to your living room. You gasped stopping in your tracks. His cocky attitude peeking through.
“Now I don’t wanna hear another complaint, or Sheriff Bodecker will have to come back again and teach you another lesson.”
“Oh— And Happy Halloween.” He winked at you before striding out your house like nothing had ever happened.

Hc: Arvin Russel x reader
Tumblr media
@lunakkeys
Arvin's life was full of things going wrong, people leaving him. He tried to be strong, tried to be a good brother, but shit kept on going wrong.
A bright sunday morning, Arvin, and lenora sat in church listening to the new pastor. Losing focus, he turned his head and looked out the window, his eyes landing on you.
You were sitting under a tree, your pastel dress, creasing as you sat with your legs crossed, a book to your left, and another on your lap. You were breathe taking. Arvin focused on you, his eyes never looking away. How had he never seen you before.
After the service was finished, arvin rushed out to the side of the church after tell his sister to wait by his truck. But you were gone, almost as if you were never there. Looking around, he found a sheet of paper being held down by a rock.
Picking it up, he made it back to his truck and drove them back to their home. Lenora exited and ran inside. After a few seconds of consideration, arvin read the paper.
After then arvin saw you all over, you dresses and you hair moving with the wind. Always holding a book or a basket filled with fruit and vegetables. Weeks passed until you both bumped into each other at the market.
Being around you made Arvin happy and calm. You were becoming a big part of his life.
Arvin could barely keep his hand/lips off of you. He was addicted. He craved the love and attention you gave him, not once judging him based on things he did in the past. He visited your home every night, and you both hell asleep in eachother's arms.
After he found lenora hanging, he held you close for hours, tears running down his face. Kisses and hugs were shared, as you both sat in silence.
"Promise me, if I get you pregnant you won't—"
"I promise, and when that happens you better come back their gonna want a sibling,"
"As if I would never come back. No matter what you are my home, I will always come back to you,"
Arvin killed. You didn't know cause he didn't tell you he would. He just did it. You found out about your pregnancy a few days later.
It was a bard choice for you to make, but nine months later you gave birth to you bubbly baby girl Evangeline lenora Russel.
It was hard at first, but you worked through it, an took care of her. When she asked about arvin you told her the arvin you knew.
A knock on your front door, a couple years later, there stood an older even more handsome arvin f*cking russel.
Sex life (cause why not)
You had your first time in your bedroom. Arvin refused to let you have it anywhere else he wanted it to be special, and it was.
You two went at it for hour, arvin always tries to go slow, giving enough time to adjust to him. Sometimes he is victorious and sometimes he loses control and f*cks you into tomorrow.
Whispers praises and sweet nothings , between moans.
Arvin will leave your chest, and thighs littered with bite marks, and hickeys. Bruises will form on your waist from how tight he holds you, when f*cking into you.
Takes care of you after, every single time without fail.
Can and will get hard anywhere anytime, if you are involved.
Breeding/pregnancy kink.( he wants a big family, and personally loves seeing you pregnant. Man wants an army. If you are male or gender neutral adoption there is no way out.)

Jealousy Isn't Good
HEADCANON
PAIRING: Tom Holland (characters) x fem!Reader (Arvin Russell and Peter Parker)
Words: 1953
Summary (requested by @peeves6261427): “jealous tom/arvin/peter where the reader knows they’re jealous and tries to tease them but then tom/arvin/peter just go FULL dom”
Warnings: jealousy, smut, fluff, dom!Tom Holland (+ characters mentioned)
A/N - I fucking love a good angsty + smutty imagine... hope you like just as much as I did writing it AHAHA :) x
TOM HOLLAND:
Tumblr media
Now, when it came to Tom’s jealous side, he was terribly awful at hiding it.
To your complete surprise, it was actually a recurring thing... It wasn't that Tom had trust issues, he just would notice how others would try to “flirt with you”, according to him.
However, you struggled to see this and saw no harm in these interactions, as most of the time you believed people were just being friendly.
When he did become jealous he acted like a complete, stubborn child.
He would give you short, sharp answers, always be temperamental.
Often in the moment you’d catch him making quick glances at you as you’d be talking to whomever.
He’d take a deep breath in, his fists would clench to the point his knuckles turned white.
“Tom, love, you’re doing it again...”
Tom knew how to calm himself, however his mood would be foul for the day.
He had a reputation to hold and did not want to jeopardise that, even if it took him all his strength to not even speak against it.
He really hated the way some would stare at you, eyeing you up and down, especially at premieres where you were all dolled up.
Tom would become super protective, especially amongst places where there were crowds upon crowds of people: you found that his arm would always be tightly wrapped around your waist.
Occasionally, a verbal fight would even break out between the two of you because of this... Until Tom would realise your perspective.
“And what about you Tom?! What about the millions of girls across the world that worship you? Do you see me complaining and whining?”
You were happiest with Tom, and you’d mentioned it repeatedly to him... He knew you were with him for the long run, he just despised the fact that people didn’t realise this.
He’d be the type that needed reassurance that you only had eyes for him, and to make up for his childish behaviour... Sex was the only answer.
This also was the best way he could showcase his dominance over you: he was always in complete control when it came to sex, especially after an episode of jealousy.
Tom would definitely be the type to leave love marks all over you, hickeys were his thing. He’d try not to leave them in obvious places where your skin would be exposed, again for his reputation especially with kids, however on the rare occasion that he’d lose himself... There wasn't nothing that a decent palette of makeup couldn’t cover up!
God sometimes he’d even surprise you with a quick, soft bite on your skin... He was playful like that.
Definitely loves to spank you, again seeing his red hand-print form on your ass cheek just sparks joy in him like nothing else.
And Tom, definitely loves being called Daddy.
Nonetheless, it was a flaw in Tom’s character... He was the jealous type and it was something you were okay to live with.
ARVIN RUSSELL:
Tumblr media
Now this man... Would literally go off. Not immediately, it would just constantly be building up inside until he could no longer keep the fury bottled up.
Having to pick up Lenora from school, you also took to this privilege, which always meant Arvin would be waiting right outside for the two of you. He was protective like that.
He was also, however, an impatient man: thus, on the occasional days that a few of your colleagues took up your time after school for a quick chat, often about an assignment or homework... He’d grown quite enraged.
Especially due to the fact that he'd rarely see you during the weekdays from being busy with school. He didn’t want to attend and rather just work, although it took a toll very so often that he’d miss you.
Being such a small town, didn't help the cause, whether it was walking down the street arm in arm, or catching up at the local diner, someone would stop and chat, minimising your time together even more.
However, the jealousy would strike most with other male counterparts.
Arvin, according to his own words “knew what these boys in this town were thinking...”
For his age, and greatly due to his unfortunate circumstances growing up, Arvin mentally and emotionally matured rapidly for his age.
Physically, he was also quite strong and didn’t hesitate when faced with a threat.
Especially after the incident with Lenora and the boys at school... Arvin had a reputation that was built on sheer intimidation. No one dared to mess with anything that even remotely “belonged” to him.
And he’d made it very clear that you were his.
However on the downside, when a boy was “downright stupid” (again according to Arvin), and took a chance on you, or even tried to take advantage of you... Arvin would violently lash out.
It was hard to intervene, especially when matters got physical.
Arvin was obviously the dominant one: he’d precisely plan his attacks, when exactly to strike.
Word would spread, and yet everyone would keep quiet... Some would even argue that Arvin did the right thing for standing by you.
“I-I just don't want people thinking the wrong things about you, baby.”
However you did mention how upset you’d become, witnessing Arvin taking matters into his own hands: and worst of all, you’d hate seeing him hurt with minor wounds to show.
During these times after the altercations, would be the most intimate. Arvin would apologise and promise to try never to lash out again, although you knew that was a lie.
It was these moments he showed his most vulnerable side: he’d confess to how much you meant to him, how much he wanted to keep you safe and overall, how much he’d love you.
“You are the absolute world to be Y/N, baby... You need to know I’d do anything for you.”
Bless him, you thought. You knew violence was never an answer, although considering Arvin’s upbringing, it was mostly all he’d known, all that he was exposed to.
“God, Arvin... I can take care of myself, you know that. A-And if I do ever get in trouble, you know you’ll be the first one I come to.”
However what he dreaded the most was being apart from you. The fear that when you weren't together that’s when something terrible would befall you, killed him deep down and regardless of what you said, or no matter how confident you were of protecting yourself... He knew he’d always be there until he planned for the two of you to leave this “godforsaken town.”
And of course, the sex helped him a lot.
Arvin was the dominant one in the relationship throughout everything. He felt he needed to be in control, and obviously still took into consideration your thoughts and feelings.
However when it came to matters of life and death or even remotely close to your safety, he took serious. He prioritised your safety over his own, and that said a lot.
When I tell you this man would have a breeding kink, I meant it: having children did frighten him a little, although the thought of having them with you, made him feel motivated to have a family of his own.
He loves when you dry hump the fuck out him, seeing how you moan his name as your face to face with one another, the way your tits be jiggling/jumping the more intense you got.
He preferred to have sex in remote, isolated locations. He preferred to silence and peace of mind. Only being in each other’s company.
Often the sex happened in his car, and the moments after would be intimate just like after a fight.
He loved you and you loved him... You both knew you were meant for one another.
PETER PARKER:
Tumblr media
Having met Pete, there was no way you’d thought there could ever be a bad bone in him, however it seemed even the perfect Peter Parker struggled with a few minor flaws.
Peter tended to get jealous, however over specific people that he saw as a threat.
He was extremely calculative, and knew who posed a risk to his relationship with you.
He often wouldn’t speak up about it, letting it slide and seeking advice from Ned and Aunt May on what to do, however they’d often persuade him to believe it was nothing major to worry about, and that you only had eyes for him.
And they couldn't be more right.
Peter trusted you greatly, as you did with him.
He didn't trust the cocky guys that would shoot their shot with you, and often it did infuriate him.
At nights, when he was out overlooking the city for whoever would need the help of their friendly, neighbourhood Spider-man, he’d take the time to contemplate to himself.
However, if he got really desperate for some help, he’d even ask his fellow Avengers... Tony wasn't much of a help, he’d just tell him to either spoil the hell out of you, “take her out to a nice restaurant, the chicks dig that intimacy shit.”
Steve, on the other hand, was actually the most helpful.
And they had all met you (and adored you), so they knew exactly who Peter was dealing with.
“Just talk to Y/N, I’m sure she’ll be most understanding... Usually when a guy feels this way about a girl, it means you want to take things seriously,” Captain reasoned.
And from their Peter knew exactly what he had to do.
Dates was a regular think, you made sure of that! Despite needing to balance school, work and Peter’s hectic life as an Avenger... You both proudly managed well.
So taking both Tony’s and Capt’s relationship advice into consideration, Peter thought it would be perfect to just say what he needed to say.
“L-Look Y/N... I know I may not often say it or be the perfect boyfriend, but I-I just wanted to say...”
God you loved how nervous he'd get.
“What is it Pete?” You intervene with a bright smile on your face, trying to encourage him to just speak his mind.
And it seemed to have worked, as his tense shoulders had finally relaxed and he returned with a smile.
“I-I love you, Y/N. I mean, I-I really am so in love with you. It just bothers me that I see you talking to some guys a-and to think that maybe, one day... They might convince you to leave me.”
Your heart broke silently to a thousand pieces: not only was this the first time Peter actually said the words “I love you”, however to hear that this was what had been worrying him this entire time.
“Peter, please don’t ever think that! I could nor would I ever, leave someone as brilliant and caring as you... I love you, Pete, you need to know this.”
And after what would have been the most sacred dates of your life, you knew exactly how to end the perfect night.
As you both had politely left the restaurant, thanking the staff for their incredible food and service, you turned to Peter, your hands cupping his chiselled face.
“Now how about you show me just how much you love me, huh?”
Sex with Peter was often gentle and very personal.
He wasn't over-the-top in control, always making sure you were comfortable and relaxed.
However when you both had gotten into the rhythm of things... A whole, new side of him would peak.
Definitely a boob guy... He’s rough hands would always be massaging your tits, especially when he ate you the fuck out.
