I LOVE the love at twilight chapter, and the best part to me was King Edmund watching Link fight then instantly congratulating him and comparing him to his siblings and asking if he could stay with him fhdbdhdbd It makes me think he just thought 'ah! a competent person! I think I'm keeping him'

Also you are so amazing at transitions, the transition from colin and link talking about how they hoped rusl and kori were ok, switching to kori's point of view and following up on him and rusl took my breath away, it is incredible writing

I’m so glad! I struggled with the newest chapter for sure XD that’s why it came a day late. But yeah I thought it’d be funny if Edmund was super impressed by Link. He grew up with fighting and stuff and he can’t really fight himself, he loves watching others do it. And Link is a Hylian that fights well???? That’s awesome. And yeah 100% he’s keeping Link just so he can watch him fight. A little odd guy but I love him.

And thank you aaahfbdbdndbdjb I try to make transitions between povs as smooth as possible. It’s challenging cuz I imagine these scenes in comic form, so in my mind I imagine that part where Link’s dialogue is over the setting of where Kori is, but I couldn’t do that so I did what I could with writing. And it worked well enough :)) I try. Pacing and fluidity mean a lot to me in my writing.

Do you mind explaining the difference between ‘bad writing’ and ‘bad characters’?

I saw you mentioned that Adrien is badly written but liked(not sure if that was the right word) him.

I feel that the whole writing is bad but because he’s written consistently bad in certain areas that it becomes more of character flaws that leads to a bad character instead of him being a good character written badly.

It’s more like. I get what the intention was for a character. I get what their base characteristics are supposed to be. It’s just that they’re notably not that in actuality. So okay. We know that Adrien is supposed to be a kindhearted boy in an unfortunate situation but still trying to figure out the world regardless. That’s what he was in the first season where his only offense of note was blaming LB in Copycat. We got to see him and know him and know what the next logical steps were for him but then. I assume it came with the crew reading too much fanfic that the series adopted fanon in the following seasons by dialing up the sad uwu baby boy who can do no wrong factor to a ridiculous degree and decided he was too ✨sensitive✨ for plot after all and just

In other words: I like him more for what he was during his introduction and what he could’ve been had the crew no royally fumbled the easiest most obvious character arc they had in their collection of characters. That being said, canon adrichat as he is sucksssss but to me he’s a walking corpse of a once promising young lad.
