“how are you feeling, lady celica? no aches or bruises?” silque asked, checking over the princess once more. it had been a long time since silque had left novis to find sir mycen, and she’d not seen celica in all that time. now, in the aftermath of the battle with duma, silque finally had a chance to speak with her again as she healed her.

Don't mind Anthiese running up to her brother and peppering his face with lots of kisses! It seemed like forever since she last saw him, so she had to make sure he was real and that he knew that she loved him. ❝ Conrad! I missed you my sweet brother! ❞ ( soft babies,,, )

    ❝Oh, Anthiese!❞ There is laughter that rolls from off his tongue whilst she covers his face in kisses. He is undeniably enjoying every second of his sister’s affection; the wide smile that pulls at his lips is evidence of so. 

    ❝I missed you, too. My apologies that I’ve been away from you for so long —- I hadn’t realised how MUCH time had truly passed in my absence. I’m here now, sister.❞ Smile ever widening, he returns her sentiment, planting gentle kisses to his dear sister’s forehead and cheeks.

I see you are an appreciator of our feline companions as well.” He had caught the other in the midst of petting one of the aforementioned companions, impressed by how much the feline seemed taken with her. Though, of course someone who appeared as refined in speech and skill as her would recognize the finer points of life. “Did you know? I once had an excellent relationship with one of the cats from my village. Why, we were inseparable - that is, until she decided to move onto more fruitful endeavors.” Needless to say, the loss of his friend left him with a dull ache in his chest and a surplus of dried fish.

  ♡ —  She rests her hands on the priestess’s shoulders, steadying the both of them as she drops a kiss on both of her eyelids. Her lips are soft, somewhat timid with her own touch in the fear that the other’s eyes may flutter open at any moment ( how embarrassing that blunder would be !! ) and just the fact that she was placing a kiss on such a sensitive area. One blinks to protect them after all, the mechanism ever so vigilant at every hour of the day.

There is a reason why people sleep with their eyes closed.

She steps back, removing her gloved fingers of the princess’s bare skin. She waits for the other to regain her vision before she moves her mouth to talk, a bit embarrassed to have done something that she had never done before but only watched her peers in the clergy perform to youths and weary souls.

    ❝ May Duma also protect you alongside       the Mother. I trust you mean much to       him as his sister’s favorite child. ❞

As far as he was aware this was Alm's friend beyond that their leader did not speak much of anything outside their war, but he did have to wonder what brought her here of all place?

⧫⋄ ❀ ⋄⧫ HOW LONG it had seemed to be. Her friends had departed Ram Village to fight for the Deliverance’s cause, leaving her alone for quite some time. It was UNBEARABLE, as the days dragged on. And for CELICA of all people to have rescued her from that dreadful loneliness, well — she’d admit, it was a pleasant surprise. Faye had never quite held any resentment towards the priestess, in spite of all her knowing fears. She MISSED the other as much as anyone else in the village. She may not have gotten to travel alongside Alm, no matter how much she demanded to, but she couldn’t complain by Celica’s side.

❝ Hey, Celica? ❞ She called, sauntering to the priestess’ side. An attempt at catching up with her wouldn’t be SO BAD, would it?

               ❝ You’ve really made something for yourself while you were gone, haven’t you? All these new friends... Well, I’m glad that you’ve been doing well. ❞

    One eye is opened to cast its vermilion gaze upon Celica as she speaks. ❝ C-Come on, sister. Must you tease me? Especially after I’ve JUST woken up?❞ 

    Of course, Conrad expects nothing less from his dear sister, and if he’s to be honest, he doesn’t entirely mind to be the source of her japes. Seeing her happy is MORE than enough for him.

However, Alm’s regard for her did not pertain to honesty with people. Rather, it was towards whatever reservations she had reigned in upon taking her title as princess. A prince himself, he knew how one veiled such a burden. Not that he could be honest and admit as much to her. Whilst he trusted Celica more than he ought to, Alm preferred to keep that particular secret under wraps. It would thwart his disguise otherwise. 

“I think I misspoke. Celica, I ask you to be honest with yourself. You’ve been just told you’re a princess, right? Must be hard.”
