"Good to know that you have a wonderful sense of humor, ah?" he can't help but chuckle warmly at the tap to his foot from the other, shoulders slacking a little bit even though he can never TRULY find himself relaxing. not in this state, not the way he is right now. it would be too easy to give into the pain - too easy to let himself go.
