My favorite story was "The Blood of Old Shard" by John R. Fultz, with Scott Oden and Howard Andrew Jones' tales close behind, and there were no duds in the mix. "The Blood..." really surprised me with a heart and inventiveness which the opening doesn't give away yet, you realize upon finishing, deftly sets up. 2) Fires of Azeroth by C.J. Cherryh Left my big ol’ spoiler-laden review on Goodreads for ya. 3) Black Paper: Writing in a Dark Time by Teju Cole 4) The Citadel of Forgotten Myths by Michael Moorcock *5) Neuromancer by William Gibson 6) The Expert System's Brother by Adrian Tchaikovsky 7) The Expert System’s Champion by Adrian Tchaikovsky I confess I finished the first book in this series having enjoyed myself, but wondering if I'd remember what I'd read a year from now. Ok so basically theres this guy called fitz hes the main character of these books hes the bastard son of a prince and he lives in the royal castle where he is training to be an assasin. In the castle (buckkeep castle) theres this lovley albino jester called the Fool and he and fitz become friends after he told fitz a prophecy. So one time fitz returns from his uncle verity's wedding after being poisoned by his other, evil, uncle regal and he tells this girl hes in love with named Molly (who kind of represents his dream of life if he wasnt a royal bastard and didnt have to go through trauma) that he has dreamed of her while he was gone (it was true and kind of flirty - he also described his heart turning over in his chest when he saw her then (REMEMBER THIS ITS IMPORTANT) and leter he meets the fool and tells him he has dreamed of him (using the exact same line. Hello fitz?) Then he "enjoyed the brief look of surprise on the fools face" after he told the fool he missed him.

The fool helps fitz against his evil uncle regal from killing the king and they have like character peralels. Anyway one time the fool gets beaten up by regal's man and fitz wants to patch up his wounds and he runs his fingers fown the fools jaw and goes "who did this to you?" With the intention of MURDER like some kind of ya fantasy love interest anyway some time after the fool leaves with fitzs aunt to find his good uncle verity in the mountains (he sin the mountains because they are in a war with a collection of island called the outislands, lead by a guy and a woman called the Pale Woman (this is relavent later)) and fitz stays and goes on a tiny little murder spree killing the people who killed the king using their magic then he is taken by regal and gets tortured and dies but he got better thanks to his wolf and very queer coded forbidden magic

Plot goes by and fitz starts going to find verity he befriends two lovley ladies named kettle (old. Very old) and starling (we support womens wrongs) and he gets shot by an arrow in the back and the fool finds him and takes care of hom and when he wakes up the fool cries about him having been beautiful and tells him how he the fool is something called the white prophet and fitz is his catalyst and he says to fitz "seeing you here alive gives the air back to my lungs and if there is anyone i am fated to be with im glad its you" and they touch forheads and fitz describes feelling a sort of "starnge feelling of comfort" anyway afterwards fitz fool fitz aunt kettricken kettle and starling go on a quest to find verity and at some point starling becomes convinced the fool is secretly a woman and in love with fitz and when fitz confronts the fool about it fool goes "well am i not, fitz?" "Im serious! Sge thinks you love me!" And the fool is like "i do love you" and fitz and deconstructs gender and attraction and fitz is like "i love you as a man loves another man" and fool goes "he loves me he says! And i love him!"

Anyway then the fool starts to shed his skin and gets sick because of it so shanenigans ensue like fitz having to bridal carry the fool. Also they sleep curled up next to each other.

Plot happens again after they find the uncle and the is now stuck with these hands that guve him a power to know things intaely on three of his fingers and for plot reasons he touches them to fitzs wrist and they become one being!!! And have a sort of magical bond were the fool goes "ypu really do love me!!" And then for plot reasons fitz has to stay in the mountaisn while everyone goes back home riding living stone dragons (one of them fitz gave memories of his ex to. Basically molly and fitz had a child and then molly hooked up with fitz's adoptive father and fitz os understandbly angry) (he is also angry about verity doing a brainswitch with him so he can produce a child with kettricken since he is dying due to putting his soul into a stone dragon with kettle. Moving on)

So fitz and the fool depart and the fool kisses fitz on the mouth!!!

It takes fitz seven years to travel back to buckeep where he settles down in a cabin with an adopted son named Mishap (starling brought him. Shes fitzs fwb now) (shes his only friend for fifteen years. CRINGE) and anyway. This is all the first trilogy i can continue if you want. It gets only gayer :3

The best thing to do now is go back to the lower city.

It used to be common to see some hybrids on the streets, but now we're so divided that it's hard to see others of our kind. The commons are treated like nothing but trash, while the rare are captured and taken to face whatever shit the humans plan for them. And that's why we hide. We are wolf hybrids. Genya is a black wolf and I am a white wolf, both rare.

A soft knock on the door is all I do to warn my little brother of my arrival.

- Genya, I'm back. Open the door! - he said more annoyed than he intended.

Still no answer. He never takes time to open the door, I'm getting worried.

- Genya?

The lack of an answer is all I needed to forcefully break down the door. I entered the small basement with worry a thousand, ears and tail tense with fear. I searched every corner quickly as panic took over my being, until I reached the biggest room. I opened the door with some brutality, sighing in relief to see the Omega lying on his bed. His black eyes met mine with sheer terror and tears started streaming down his face.

A group of armed men and a woman entered the room, some positioning themselves next to the brunette.

The woman approached slowly and I took a few steps back, however strong arms held me in place. She gripped my chin tightly, squeezing it roughly as she studied me.

- Get your hands off me you crazy bitch!

The men pointed their weapons at Genya's head. My body tensed as the brunette's ears drooped in fear. I wanted to resist, but I feared for my brother's life.

- The master will be pleased with the albino. He loves rare pets.

- What about the black wolf? He's not that bad.

- Keep it up! - the woman said. - He can be quite useful!

A cruel smile appeared on the albino's lips.

- Put them to sleep! The master is impatient.

- Yes ma'am!

Before I could protest, a sharp pain shot through my neck. I desperately tried to reach Genya who was in a similar situation, but I collapsed to the ground before I could reach my brother. Black dots danced in my vision as my consciousness slowly faded. I felt someone lift me off the ground and the last thing I saw before I fell into darkness was my little brother's terrified gaze.

Antigamente era comum ver alguns híbridos nas ruas, mas agora estamos tão divididos que é difícil ver outros da nossa espécie. Os comuns são tratados como nada além de lixo, enquanto os raros são capturados e levados para enfrentarem qualquer merda que os humanos planejem para eles. E é por isso que nos escondemos. Somos híbridos de lobo. Genya é um lobo negro e eu sou um lobo branco, ambos raros.

Uma batida suave na porta é tudo o que eu faço para avisar meu irmão mais novo da minha chegada.

She likes to mock and challenge others, provoking her apprentice, Inara, about still having a lot to learn about life. Yua tends to use anyone as a magical guinea pig to test new techniques she has learned, as long as the results are good.

Yua is a very calm and passive woman who almost never loses her temper, regardless of the situation. Even while she is facing a critical and delicate situation, Yua remains calm and is able to think of a strategy to resolve it. The only time she loses her temper is when the situation is beyond her ability to cope, such as when someone insults her few loved ones.

Yua is a very mysterious woman, as many who know her have a hard time saying what she is looking for. She expresses enthusiasm when some new phenomenon or magic arises from her experiments, especially knowing that she could obtain a large amount of information about a new phenomenon. According to Inara, Yua tends to be interested in anything considered "rare", such as Harumi's mysterious spiritual aura or Mirella's succubus nature. Even Inara, the person closest to Yua has a hard time understanding what she is looking for.

Despite her mysterious nature, according to Inara, Yua is a very kind and cheerful woman. She is usually kind and polite to everyone around her, even those she doesn't know. She also has a maternal side, treating Inara and Harumi as a mother would treat a child.

Biography:

Yua is a mystical being from the same native country as the world of Harumi, but from the most remote and ancient periods of wars. Yua is a kitsune, the legendary nine-tailed fox with fantastic supernatural powers and while still living in her original world she was trapped in a pact with a human who made her a familiar, a spirit that can be summoned to serve her master.

At first she was disgusted and disgusted at being imprisoned by a mere human and following her life as a spirit servant to him, but in time she began to appreciate the presence of her "master" who was a gentle and benevolent feudal lord with his people. It was during a night when her master's house was attacked by enemies and while her master was fighting on the verge of death in a desperate attempt to save her, he threw her over a precipice.

Russian, but moved to America and has been living there for about 6-7 years [specifically New York City]. Can speak/read/write both Russian and English basically perfectly fluently. When he feels like cussing at something [or someone], he's gonna do it in Russian.

Has a pretty bad case of hyperdontia. New supernumerary teeth are constantly growing in, and forcing the old ones out. He usually has at least some loose teeth, though he pulls them out once he can.

If he bites down hard on something that is firm enough, there's a decent chance he's gonna leave some teeth in it. He does not like apples.

His teeth didn't puncture the skin of his face all on their own; he got into an accident and a lot of that skin was torn away, so when it healed it actually healed around his displaced teeth. Now even when the teeth are removed from the holes in his cheeks, the holes will remain and new teeth will eventually just grow in the same places. He would need some kind of surgery to correct this, and he won't get it because he doesn't trust most doctors.

Moderately terrified of motorbikes, because the unfortunate face-shredding accident in question was getting sideswiped by one. The actual impact didn't do nearly as much damage as skidding across the asphalt afterwards did -- that's what ripped flesh away.

Can speak just fine, surprisingly, though does occasionally have a tiny bit of trouble with certain sounds, like rolling Rs and Os. Depends on how many teeth are in the way in specific places at any given time. Any impediment is pretty much negligible, though.

He can actually sing. He has a lovely voice, though he's a little quiet/soft.

Wears an allergy mask to hide his unfortunate dental problem. Very few people get to see him without it.

Horrible eating habits. Refuses to eat in public for obvious reasons, but Eats Fucking Everything once he gets home.

Actually does NOT usually dress like this, if left to his own devices he'd be in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized sweater [or intact hoodie]. This is basically a stage costume, his bf leads a shitty rock n' roll coverband and he's the one who convinced him to wear it.

Squishy. Took awhile before he got comfortable showing a lot of skin, he was especially reluctant to have his stomach exposed. Self-conscious about his appearance in general, actually. In spite of this, he takes really meticulous care of his hair -- figures it makes a good distraction from his face.

Has somewhat disproportionately large hands.

You know those little bead gun machines that stick sparkly shit in your hair? Those things that are like, marketed towards middle school girls and are usually Excessively Pink? He's got one and he uses it. Who says dudes can't put sparkly shit in their hair too.

He's wearing ice cleats over his shoes. Those metal spikes+shells and platforms come off, there's a fairly boring pair of black boots underneath them.

There is no reason for him to be wearing those cleats in this picture. It is clearly not wintertime if he is wearing that hoodie [or what's left of it]. He likes them and he'll wear them anyway though, if there's no reason he can't [and alas, there are usually reasons...they fuck up any floor they touch, for one.]

Knows sign language [РЖЯ]. Before the accident, just keeping his mouth shut was usually enough to hide his teeth, so he used to be selectively mute instead of wearing a mask. Always good to learn how to communicate with different people, anyway -- he has also learned a good amount of ASL.

Lives with his alcoholic mother in a small apartment, and he pays a good chunk of the rent. He works the night shift at the front desk of a pretty seedy local hotel, part-time. He would move out on his own, but he worries about his mom.

His design is based loosely on a Tolype laricis moth [barring the teeth, obviously]. That's why his hair and eyebrows are Like That.

Loves bugs and arachnids, particularly the ones most people find scary or "disgusting-looking". Three guesses why.

At certain angles his eyes look blue or purple, and at others they actually look red. He is a true albino; due to the lack of pigmentation in his irises, sometimes you can see the blood vessels behind them. It's a little startling.

He doesn't have perfect eyesight, though it's not completely horrible either -- things are a bit fuzzy and bright lights are dazzling. He won't wear glasses, but he does wear contact lenses.

His "claws" are stick-on fake nails. They're metal, and they do nothing except look fierce and make life more difficult. He only wears them when he's hanging out with the bf. It's clearly impossible to manage contacts while wearing those unless you just feel like poking an eye out.

Greatly prefers colder temperatures to warmer ones. Pretty much melts anytime it gets hotter than 75-80°F.

This, is in all honesty, mostly because I know people have to be going, “...what the fuck,” about shenanigans.  This, hopefully, will clarify those to a degree.

Consider all of this, but let’s make some changes.  In the aftermath of the bombs, Tony and Stephen Strange ( @rahasyamay ) run into each other, each doing their own putting out of fires, metaphorically and literally.  The Sorcerer Supreme has, ah.  A lengthy lifespan, too, so Tony and Stephen end up as a close knit family unit (the romance thing just isn’t a thing for them, if there has been hanky panky it was very brief and no doubt loneliness-induced) in the years following the bombs.  Shortly before the pair follow the BOS into the Commonwealth (relative on what shortly means), the courier from the Mojave arrives in New York, Elle Days ( @gwinnetts ), and ends up being adopted by Doctor Wizard Dad and Tired Iron Dad.  

Tony and Stephen leave for the Commonwealth, with the plan being that Elle will follow them in at a slower pace (meaning once they’ve scoped things out and made sure it’s safe) on the motorcycle Tony’s tinkered on for her in his spare time.  And it...Mostly goes to plan until Elle is jumped by a courser and her AI version of Yes Man ( formerly @securitrcn ) is taken.  Elle ends up in Goodneighbor, with her Superhero Dads starting to get worried when she doesn’t arrive on schedule and they find the wreckage of her bike.

Fort Hagen is the place Tony and Stephen claim at first, where Tony takes the actual military post and Stephen claiming the Fort Hagen Blood Clinic.  The intentions are a makeshift lab for Tony, but Stephen sees potential in the clinic with aspirations to turn it into a working hospital, since he can’t use his hands like he did anymore, no, but he can pass on his medical knowledge, and the clinic will eventually become a functioning, real teaching hospital.  From here, the two agree to go separate ways, both looking for Elle, both scoping out the Commonwealth on the whole for similar and differing reasons.

Stephen will meet the Cabots and find out the Commonwealth is hiding a lot of bad news goodies of his particular interest that he wants to secure.  He’ll also end up with Croup (later nicknamed Mooch by the Avenger squad, Recoup by everyone) Manor as a somewhat makeshift Sanctum Sanctorum in Boston.  It also doubles as something of a respite for healing and a veterinary clinic!  And yes.  Bats is in attendance.   You get used to him.

Fun fact!  Tony won’t sleep in the main building.  It’s creepy in there and while yes, he knows whatever’s going on can totally be explained by science, he will later use his boyfriend’s reluctance to sleep in the main manor and use one of the smaller surrounding buildings he and Zetta ( @gwinnetts ) builds as an excuse not to.  Croup Manor is weird and no one likes it.  Except Stephen.

Meanwhile, Tony cuts a path through the Commonwealth to get information.  Diamond City points him at Bunker Hill, Bunker Hill points him to Goodneighbor.  In Goodneighbor, he meets a former Gunner by the name of Robert Joseph MacCready ( @gwinnetts ), hires him for info on the Gunners, and intends to leave it at that, intending on making his caps back with a few games of pool before striking out to see what he can see.  When he leaves Goodneighbor, he’s still got a short, smartassed merc with him, and decides what the hell, he can make use of an extra gun.  Besides, he’ll be able to foist this guy off on someone else, and he’s just a merc, right?

(Wrong, Tony.  You are very wrong.)

Time passes.  They meet the sole survivor of Vault 111, Zetta Reynolds ( @gwinnetts ).  Thor ( @torrrden ) shows up at the 11th hour as usual wondering what the hell has happened before ending up befriending a bunch of super mutants.  Croup Manor becomes something of a meeting place/gathering place/family dinner location despite how weird it is.  

And then, after years of telling the universe, “GIVE ME BACK MY RHODEY,” the universe complies with Tony.  Rhodey ( @alloyally ), still part of the United States Air Force during the Great War, having been in many of its campaigns, and playing a bit of a game with the US Government concerning Tony’s anti-war shenanigans before the war (”I’ve been told to tell you that your behavior isn’t appreciated and you need to stop.  Wanna get take out?”  “It has been noted and ignored.  Pizza?”), disappeared not long before the bombs fell.  Given his deployments, this wasn’t an unusual thing, no, but Tony has never been able to find another speck of information about him in the years since, and has assumed him dead.

In truth, in the decades before the war, Jack Cabot exchanged some of his immortality serum with the government, in exchange for tech to better examine and understand his father Lorenzo’s weird crown that has seemingly driven him mad.  The government has been trying to remake the super soldier serum since its success with Steve Rogers/Captain America, and with that serum in hand, do so again, this time with Colonel James Rupert Rhodes.  Rhodey’s been out for a while, and is discovered in stasis by the Brotherhood of Steel, who wake him, orient him, and use him as a unique asset with the rank of Knight.

You can imagine how long he stays with the BOS once Tony finds out he’s alive.  Spoiler:  Not long.  And you can imagine how attached at the hip Tony is with him after the fact.  Spoiler:  It goes something like “I’m in the bathroom, I can hear you breathing out there.” 

You can imagine, too, how well MacCready reacts to that without having a reason to react to that way.  Spoiler:  Like a jealous boyfriend.  That has no right to be jealous.  But is gonna be jealous anyway and thank God, these two knuckleheads finally talk it out.

While forever in development and constantly being added on to (including more and more people being dragged into it), some other highlights include: + Sexual tension!  Mistakes being made!  Tony and Zetta doing the do!  Because they’re both too smart, too stubborn, and you know the whole trope of, “Make me,” being sexual tension that leads to actual sex?  That’s it.  That them.  Plus he got a nice booty and Zetta ain’t stupid. + MacCready’s quest changes!  Tony moves too slow for the whole idea of affinity and gets into a snit when MacCready takes off to take care of the Gunners by himself!  Zetta tracks his scrawny little merc ass down and calls in the calvary (Tony)!  Iron Man as Iron Man gets some play!  Lots of Gunners die!  Mostly because the won’t back down! It’s a mess!  Angry Tony!  Lots of bad feels all around! + The Rock Saga!  It’s legit verse canon now!  Robert Joseph MacCready is the worst boyfriend ever! + Stephen and his crush on Daisy of Goodneighbor!  Respecting KLEO because she’s a strong independent woman who don’t need a prime directive! + Duncan gets brought to the Commonwealth!  He’s officially the most protected kid ever with Tony being Tired Iron Dad and MacCready being MacCready!  Bonus points for the toy soldier going to him like it should have all along!  Dad!Tony reading Tolkien on request at bedtime because he hates Tolkien!  Changing the ending because you don’t tell a kid as young as Duncan his favorite in the Hobbit (Kili) dies! + Elle being loved! + Yes Man being loved and appreciated and encouraged to grow as his own person! + The Overboss that leaves Nuka World because he’s sick of the raiders unruly shit is a legit former Golden Age pirate ( @pyratetm )! + Avengers Assemble becomes a thing again! + People using Tony as a flashlight!  Tony getting annoyed by that! + Changes to all major questlines to make them canon divergent as hell because this is as much fix-it as it is rp! + Colonel James Rhodes becoming General Rhodes of the Minutemen! + M.O.E. the rebuilt synth!  He’s a first run prototype of the OS and personality matrices and is buggy as hell!  Everyone loves M.O.E. anyway! + Keep tuning in to find out what other bullshit we shove in this verse because this is already really long!

Is there anyway to patch the steam game so that the unrated version will play instead? I've played through Grisaia no Kajitsu steam version, and honestly I'd say it's pretty good even when people say the H-scenes are important. Grisaia: Phantom Trigger was created and designed as an all-ages game, and therefore features no sexually explicit content. We’re very aware of the size and passion of the Vita fanbase here at Frontwing, and would love for Phantom Trigger to come to the Vita. However, as Phantom Trigger is an ongoing series, we feel that the possibility of a Vita port would best be considered once the series can be delivered as a single complete package (and indeed, it wouldn’t be feasible for us to release episodically on Vita for a number of reasons). We’ll absolutely revisit this topic when the series comes nearer to completion, so be on the lookout for that!

While Phantom Trigger does make reference to characters, events, and concepts from the original Grisaia trilogy, and knowledge of these will certainly enhance the Phantom Trigger experience, the series is designed to be enjoyed by longtime Grisaia fans and newcomers alike. The Fruit of Grisaia and The Labyrinth of Grisaia are available on both Steam and Denpasoft from Sekai Project, and the Steam version of The Eden of Grisaia is scheduled for a March 2017 release.

How will shipping be handled for the campaign? Why does it cost the amount it does?

The default shipping method for the campaign is international SAL shipping from Japan. This is the most affordable method that will still get your rewards to you in a reasonable amount of time. Add-ons will be purchasable in BackerKit after the campaign! You can increase your pledge by the cost of the add-on and you will be able to use that money in BackerKit for add-on purchases, or you can pay for the add-on directly on BackerKit after the campaign.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Unfortunately, Kickstarter does not support PayPal as a payment method. However, if you make a pledge at any tier, you can upgrade to a higher tier on BackerKit after the campaign, and use PayPal on BackerKit to cover the difference. Please do keep in mind that if limited rewards sell out during or after the campaign, you will not be able to upgrade to those tiers in BackerKit.

Every route in The Fruit of Grisaia has a different length and structure and follows a completely different path. Even events that are seemingly independent of any route happen differently, such as the summer festival only happening in Amane and Makina’s routes, and everyone going on their own vacations in Michiru’s story. While the common route leans very heavily on comedy and rarely shifts to a more serious tone, the individual stories shift quickly into the darker tone, although even this varies between the characters. The biggest thing that all of the routes have in common is that they all have at least one flashback, and although the flashbacks are always important, the length and nature of the flashback also varies wildly from one route to the next. Amane’s flashback is the longest by far, making up the majority of her route, while the others’ are mostly there to fill out their backstories, with most of the route then focusing on how Yuuji plans to redeem them. Each route contains a single choice between a good end and a bad end, often close to the end; however, Michiru’s choice happens unusually early in the route, with an early bad end or a much lengthier good ending.

The translation job is outstanding in its own right. Conversations flow smoothly, without any lines coming out as awkward, unnatural or translated too literally from Japanese to English. I noticed a single typo in the entire script, in the form of a single incomplete sentence. There’s also a few small, scattered sections with voices and no text, which is a problem considering the voices are all Japanese. Generally, these are single lines that I can understand with my basic understanding of Japanese, but there’s one particularly nasty sequence near the end of Michiru’s route which has what amounts to entire monologues without text, with only Japanese voices and an empty text box. It seems to me like a somewhat glaring oversight in an otherwise stellar showing.

The sex scenes are some of the better ones I’ve seen. They don’t seem particularly forced, and they are actually somewhat important to the game, primarily for Amane’s route. Even if the dialogue surrounding them is somewhat cheesy (and it is), their presence doesn’t detract from the overall experience. More specifically, Amane’s route would be definitely lacking something important in the all-ages base Steam version, especially in one particular scene which would lose a lot of its impact if the sex was off-screen.

The music is generally good, and the tracks are used to fit the situations well, but none of them particularly stood out to me. The exception is the opening theme, “Shuumatsu no Fractal”, or “The Final Fractal”, by Faylan (also known for singing the openings for the console versions of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Chronophantasma and Chronophantasma Extend, as well as the BlazBlue: Alter Memory anime series, among other things). Every character gets their own ending theme, and much like the rest of the soundtrack, while they’re all good, none of them stood out to me in particular. As for the voice acting, it’s the same problem as with other visual novels; since I don’t speak the language, I can’t tell if it’s particularly good or bad.

The visual presentation is unusually good for a visual novel, as well. The sprites freely move around the screen, expressing the action remarkably well for static images. This is used to great comedic effect and is particularly funny to watch while the auto-skip is active. In addition to standard CGs, there are also super-deformed ones (SD, or “chibi”, in case you don’t know the term), also with slight animation, used for humour. Even in regular scenes, when the ocean can be seen in the background, there’s a very slight animation in the light hitting the water – something very easy to miss, but a show of attention to detail that I appreciate.

If you want to read The Fruit of Grisaia, prepare for a major commitment; when I finished, my playtime was just under 70 hours, and that was me reading quickly. Download epanet 2.0. If you want to listen to the full voices, or read through the entire common route more than once, your playtime can easily go much higher than that. However, there’s no need to, since the three choices before the routes branch off have no bearing on the story, and the heroines’ route present themselves one at a time; if you refuse the first route, the second choice will branch off into another route, and so on. Since everything is based off of single choices, it makes it very easy to not miss anything once you’ve seen everything in the common route. The text skip is also one of the fastest I’ve ever seen.

The Fruit of Grisaia will run you $39.99 USD for either the 18+ version direct from the Denpasoft website or the all-ages version on Steam. Somewhat on the pricey side (although still less than CLANNAD), the relatively high price is worth it if you have the time to invest. At times the story is lighthearted and funny; other times, it’s sad and depressing; and sometimes, reading it can be downright stressful. This isn’t a visual novel where a walkthrough is needed – be sure to save on every choice, and you’ll be able to see everything the game has to offer no problem. This is a nice change from the overbearing complexity of others like Little Busters and CLANNAD (and don’t even get me started on Fate/Stay Night), though it doesn’t change the fact that it’ll likely run close to 70 hours, if not more, to finish all of the routes. If you don’t like visual novels or romance stories, you can probably figure out that The Fruit of Grisaia isn’t the game for you; as is the norm with visual novels, the format itself, as well as the sheer length, makes it impossible to recommend to everyone. However, if you do like visual novels and romance, I see no reason not to check out The Fruit of Grisaia if you haven’t already.
