Original anon here! I’m glad people like my uncle gojo idea so I’ll add more stuff to it.

I wanna add more to this by saying that Yuji and Nobara didn’t know Gojo had a niece. If we’re going off the fact that she doesn’t look too much like Gojo— they of course share similar traits but considering she’s his niece she’s obviously not gonna look exactly like him and probably has a different hair and eye color, which would probably be enough to throw Yuji and Nobara off. Even more so because Gojo’s wearing a blindfold. So their minds are absolutely blown when Gojo reveals that the girl he’s been coddling and fawning over is his precious niece!

Nobara thought he was being a weirdo towards one of his students and Yuji just assumed she was his favorite. The concept that Gojo has biological relatives especially a niece was beyond their comprehension. Gojo having family and someone being related to him? This is unheard of!

Megumi having to confirm multiple times that she’s indeed his niece and yes they’re biologically related even though they don’t look or act exactly the same.

Nobara's reaction kills me every time even in the anime, and Yuuji is just sweet and only thinks his sensei has good intentions. When Gojo formally reveals his niece to his first-year students, I can totally see his head tilting slightly and looking just confused as them like "Oh? Didn't I tell you? I thought you knew." He's always so forgetful about those small but important things (cue Megumi head-palming). And actually, I really think Nobara would love hanging out with Gojo's niece before she even knew they were related.

I love that Gojo and his niece don't look and act exactly the same and I imagine her to be more sensible and responsible than him (which is why it was so hard for Nobara and Yuuji to believe they're related) but still share his expensive taste in things and maybe love for sweets. Or even if she doesn't like sweets as much as him she still tries the treats he brings her from time to time.
