Y'know how people say 'the world is your oyster'? Well, the world is shad's egg. literally. He's the Draconic God of Death, and his entity was created in the belly (centre) of the earth, in heat and warmth and magma. He clawed his way out of the world, and this lore is mentioned in the prologue of LR, but his emergence from the core of the earth caused the earth to bunch up, and created mountains and valleys, and ravines. similarly to dropping a pebble into water, his emergence caused literal ripples. which is why most mountains and such are kind of in a radial pattern outwards from the 'belly of the world', which is just a huge fuck-off ravine. That said, not all mountains, because it's been thousands/millions of years since his emergence, and things do change. He was created as a god, before anyone knew what gods were. He was not the first being to exist, Early humans were around to witness his birth, but he is by far one of the most ancient. Hence why his followers call him 'the Ancient'.

Irene was born a god, though she was birthed by human parents. It's a whole situation, really, very lengthy. More about her mother than it really is about Irene. But she was born during the emergence. Her head crowned as Shad's emerged from the earth, and when he had fully freed himself and laid upon the cool ground, Irene was put into her mother's arms. If not for eating her own mother's heart, she never would've had the maternal traits that ending up characterising her for most of her existence.

I am so pissed off. I was scrolling through TikTok and I was saw this trend where people get their friends or siblings to rate drivers and they were so unbelievably rude when it came to Lance that it made me want to throw my phone at the wall. They said he was ugly, which is OK for someone to say, but then the way they kept insulting him and then the person who posted it agreed. And people were saying that they love seeing people slander Lance. Like, what did Lance do other than have a rich dad who loves him? I don’t see anybody hating on for a rich dad who loves him. Do they think it’s free to get into formula? You literally have to pay to have a seat in formula 2 just because Lance’s dad loves him enough to help him out to do whatever he loves, does it mean Lance is ugly or a nepo freak as the tt girl put it.

And I know so many female scientists and professors who should be protected by their position in society, their well-connected colleagues, and universities/labs. They are harassed online mercilessly in the most ugly ways. And then they get it from some students and colleagues too. And their institutions sweep it under the rug or fire the woman because they are all run by Aristocrats and conservatives and Capitalists.

It is horrible and evil.

So, yes, this is the kindest generation we have ever had in America. Even if we aren't very kind compared to almost anyone else. We are generous, helpful, pleasant, friendly, and hopeful people, but we are not kind.

We are so far behind all the Brown nations in kindness and love, but look at our history. We started way behind thanks to the Aristocrats and their colonizing bullshit we got into bed with them on. But it really is kinder today.

That is sad, but perfection is a human invention. It is always about direction of growth or decline that any judgement of a people ought be made. That and how do they treat women. And how do they treat the poor, oppressed, and sick.

What direction are we moving and how do we treat the people who don't have the power to stop us or really just need some food and a place to live in safety?

That is what defines a good culture and a good people in my book.

These filthy things. And these are the better looking ones. There's many out there who just use straight plastic tubs instead of the overpriced reptile specific ones. And it's animal abuse no matter what some people might argue You'd think it's just breeders who use these right (I don't think breeders should use them either)? Well you'd be wrong because these are extremely common for 'hobby' keepers. There is a MASSIVE problem in the reptile community with who can keep the most at a time, who has the most exotic reptiles and how many, with very very little regard for their quality of life. I am not joking when I say people keep reticulated pythons, which get like 14, 15 feet in length in average, in these fucking things. They don't even have space to stretch out even half way. There's a lot of debate on whether reptiles will even use their provided space but I know from experience that if you give them the space, they will use it, even if you don't see it. Just cause you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen yknow. They are living animals who deserve to live full enriched lives and it's our job as owners to give them that not use them as some dumb number to brag about. And I don't even understand the appeal? Racks are ugly asf and you can't even see your pets. Why even have them at that point? And yeah people even keep hots-venomous reptiles- in these things. It infuriates me. It's animal abuse and it makes the huge problem of animal hoarding even easier
