HI HELLO THANK YOU FOR THE ASK EVEN THOUGH I AM A MILLION YEARS LATE TO ANSWERING IT!! I wanted to do more art for this but alas, I have been so busy and in my free time I’ve been working on writing and cosplay stuff instead!!

BUT!! WITHOUT FURTHER ADO!! Allow me to give some info on my personal version of Durgetash aka Wrentash or Wrenver.

Some of this is kinddddaaa subject to change since I haven’t finished Wren’s playthrough yet and haven’t decided 100% what his fate is gonna be hehehe.

To me they’re both such emotionally stunted idiots who fall deeply and grossly in love. Both finally finding someone else worthy of admiration and who matches their ambition. Someone to perhaps be an equal at last.

Ughhhhh I just love the Blasphemy of Durgetash, it's delicious.

Wren definitely feels A LOT of weakness and guilt as well as confusion when he starts to catch feelings for Gortash.

He’s definitely never felt this way about another person before. Just never saw the need to tbh. Never desired to. But with Gortash something clicked intellectually and physically.

I see them having some interesting build up, both trying to make sorts of things in their heads and if this is a bad idea. But they’re both so drawn to each other. They’re fated. (Sometimes I like to say fated to die together in every universe to make myself extra sad)

Pre-tadpole Wren is a little less deadpan and a little more freaky and fiendish tbh, BUT he definitely does not handle having romantic feelings normally.

Anyways he doesn’t kill him and lets his feelings torment him.

I think Wren never realized how touch starved he was until Gortash?? Like I never imagined physical touch to be one of his love languages but uhhhh it might actually be lol.

I always imagined Gortash being casually touchy with him at a random moment. Like a hand on his shoulder?? Or hands accidentally brushing together?? And this just HITS Wren. He feels a little feral. And I think they keep having moments like this. Gortash of course catches on. They keep pushing each other's boundaries and what not. Very back and forth, very playful, but still dramatic like a dance.

Constantly finding excuses to spend more and more time in each other's company. 

But I can definitely see them squabbling a lot and play fighting. 💕

And one day it just escalates into something more intimate,,,,,,

Lots of pent up feelings and ferality.

And I think something just SHIFTS and they really become something to each other. Not necessarily labeled but it’s SOMETHING and it's strong.

As I mentioned, Gortash makes Wren realize how touch starved he is so in time I think he becomes REALLY CLINGY with him. Wren is more of a physical being who prefers actions to words so I think he’d be all over him when they get to that point lol.

They both have their respective plans prioritized of course but they just can’t resist each other?? They fill some void for each other that neither knew they had and I think that’s why they become so attached at the hip.

Wren will?? Listen?? And somewhat behave for pretty much only Gortash??

Wren really likes to bite and claw and mark and I think most Durgetash shippers agree that Gortash would be into that. 🖤

 ANYWAYS I know this is getting long but I do have a few other quick tidbits about them.

I know they’re “serious baddies” and what not but I think they have many moments of just being silly and cringe and playful with each other?? To an extent?? Healing inner child vibes.

Gortash gifted Wren the dagger earrings that he wears.

Even tho they are very close, Wren still fantasizes about killing Gortash lol. Just Durge things. <3

TADPOLE WREN IS A BIT DIFFERENT. I’m still playing Act 3 so I haven’t decided how everything is handled. Wren obviously doesn’t remember him. :’) BUT he has this weird connected feeling to him still ever since Gortash’s name was first mentioned. He collects every note, letter, and book that contains Gortash’s name because reading the name makes him feel weirdly closer to remembering something. No joke, he steals every poster of him in the city as well (I can’t believe those things weigh more than a pound each!! My little twink does NOT have the strength stat to carry around much more LOL).

Upon meeting him again, Wren still does feel an inexplicable connection to him but also wants to hear him out because Gortash is the only one who allegedly remembers him but is genuinely not meeting him with immediate animosity?? And like, is actually giving him some slight answers about his past?? While everyone else just seems to want to confuse him or kill him. And he’s a bit of a control freak so he’s desperate to learn about his past and clings to anyone who can help him with this.

ANYWAYS THAT'S ENOUGH OUT OF ME FOR NOW!! Only time will tell what else I decide to write for these two but these are the basics~ They’re grossly and chaotically in complicated love.🖤

Ok, so, Catherine Appleby is a witch, - specialty: necromancy to be exact - and she lives in a small and haunted cottage in the late Victorian era (maybe), doing witchy things and selling witchy stuff. She is not talented at practising necromancy which is probably the reason why the ghosts stuck around. She is sarcastic, stoic and a bit of a lone wolf. Also quite gay.

Her previous girlfriend died and her mentor is a healer who couldnt save her because it was too late ("I can heal people who are sick or injured, I can't bring them back to life") so Catherine, heartbroken, is questioning the healing path more and more and she decides to pursue necromancy to be able to do that.

One time one of her necromancy spells goes wrong and instead of putting someone dead from the past into the future, still alive, she accidentally catapults someone from the 21st century into her own time.

Introducing: Evelyn Mellington. I don't have such a grasp on her character yet but I do like to imagine she is somewhat of a goth and quite drawn to antiques/the past/history in the first place. She likes to bond with the ghosts in the house and finds the time travelling adventure absolutely fascinating. (Self insert here, ngl).

Since Evelyn is not a magician, Catherine, with a somewhat guilty concience about this whole thing, tries to teach Evelyn magic, so she can get back to her own time. Hijinks ensue.

Also they fall in love.

I’ve been so enraptured by Gemi and Julius’ dynamic recently… Is the Funeral Celebrant storyline something that you plan on publishing in the future or have published anywhere? (No pressure ofc, I’m just curious!)

HIII I'm so glad u like them!!! I've been working on their story kinda on and off for about 2-3 years now ^_^

As for publishing their story... I rlly want to and I would love to!! I just don't know when/if that'll happen... I'm not much of a writer, and idk if I have the motivation to do a full blown comic... I've thought doing some comics here and there, just random parts of their story and not rlly in chronological order because I feel like if I did it from start to finish it would cause me to lose motivation faster...? I've also thought abt showing their story thru just pieces of art and sort of give the story with it... Not sure yet tho, but I hope to do something!!

Both Julius and Gemi are so complex I sort of worry just a comic or writing it out wouldn't fully express them and their personality and thought process and nuances and such so I have a much easier time just. Infodumping. Tho maybe its ok if everything isnt completely clear bc it could get ppl thinking and wondering and interested to learn more... Tbh I need to post more abt them on here because there is SOOOO MUCH to them and I have barely scratched the surface on here... I have paragraphs upon paragraphs written about them that I need to share

awww thank you !! im really glad you do!! their name is 3 but spelt in a funny way, im not exactly sure yet. i wanted it to be clever but my brain hasnt been able to put much power into it. Tre or III was other options. i promise ill think about it more I think while making them i kept having in mind an engineer, and the hat helps keep the sun off of their face but i do keep thinking about them having their own little garden. i dont have a lot on them yet but i think they'd have their own small ship(kind of like an RV that they live out of) and go around. but theyd do work on other peoples equipment all the time, and even make their own gadgets mayhaps. i know this isnt a lot of info but im more than happy to answer more questions or talk more. my brains been a bit scattered on some other small "project" things ive just been working on too! ive also been sick. i promise ill think on them more though! i would like to get their colours down soon and work on them some more!

OOOUGH THE PAIN. THE PAIN! I love it ^_^ Thea idea of Dandy's World undergoing a MLP-style next generation is so interesting, and I adore Arthur stumbling into sacrifice to a massively destructive degree. His every action drips with desperation and I love it and I always enjoy a hallucination of someone dear who isn't here anymore... The fact that Dee is so different from Delilah and so telling of Arthur's crumbling memory of her is so good

What does Gala think of how everything she has was brought about in such a painful way?

I honestly don’t think she ever thought much of it at all. Gala went from being nothing and no one to having everything she could’ve ever wanted. I think she was way too caught up in finally being noticed and appreciated at the time to really acknowledge the full reality of her upcoming. All she really knew is that she was getting what she wanted and it was all thanks to her dad.

Eventually Gala started to see what was going on, and Arthur didn’t even really try to hide it. I don’t think he had that in him anymore. She began to pin the blame on herself. Would the others have been safe from the atrocities Arthur committed if not for her? Would Gardenview still be up and running if not for her and all the money spent on her show? Would Arthur still be okay if not for her? Gala never meant to burden her father so much.

OK I WAS TYPING UP A POST JUST FOR U REALLY.... i am so giddy that ur interested in my oc omg...

Ok so I typed a MASSIVE backstory but I am not sure if I should post it because it's a lot and might be badly written and idk anyone really wants to read his entire backstory so here are the highlights

he is former marines. he started off as a good American christian boy who wanted to serve his country and make his father proud. he ended as an extremely disillusioned, bitter deserter who is hates everything the miltitary stands for and the system that chewed him & his squadmates up. his service left him with PTSD and a permanent belief that he is an irredeemable person who should not exist or at least, exist around people.

this is what leads his failed marriage. his PTSD caused him to be emotionally distant and cold. He was plagued by intrusive thoughts of harming his family and the birth of his daughter really sent him over the edge, he refused to ever hold her and soon left after she was born.

He has been doing shadowrunner/mercenary work for over 20 years. He lives by the idea that he is not a good person, he is a criminal now. He claims to have made peace with this and is a bit of a death seeker, although his innate need to 'protect' is what keeps him going even if he doesn't realize it

he chain smokes lucky strike cigarettes, seldomly drinks, and is extremely punctual and tidy. he also only ever power walks, nobody has seen him run
