Today is the first day of Pumpkins 3 day procedure. He has to leave at 7:30 am in the morning to get there on time and he won’t be home until 9:30 pm to try to get as much fluid as they can into him. Then they’re leaving the IV port attached but wrapped so he’s going to be wearing a cone! I didn’t realize he would need a cone but yeah he’s going to be tired and cranky when he gets home.

It does feel weird not to have him in the room with me during the day but he likes to run around during that time and snuggle when I sleep so it just feels like he’s running around early. Nap time will be weird but it’s worth it.

2 more days in a row like this and bloodwork and then hopefully his kidneys healthy tissue will be back in full force and his results will be good
