I think the first time winston gets gibbed into a dozen bloody chunks by a crocket from across the map he just wouldn’t respawn. he would just be dead for real. you’d poke the ape parts just like wondering what’s going on but he’s just really in monkey heaven after that

if not for the toxins i think winston would be a perfect addition to tf2. he would be the best counter for sniper, a huge sticking point in tf2’s balance is that sniper really lacks a true counter besides just another better sniper. he would have many unlockable cosmetics, like top hat, monocle. Fresh plaid shirt and shorts. he would say his classic lines such as “Grrreetings!” and “This will protect us!”. sadly it’s not just the toxins that are preventing this because he would starve in a matter of days because there’s no peanut butter in team fortress 2.
