Oh this is a fun one because the second part is much harder to answer than the first one.

The thing all their focus goes into is achieving immortality. But if you asked them what would stop them from pursuing it their answer would be “nothing”. Not because they don't care about anything else, but because to them a reality where they actually had to give up something they truly care about to achieve their goal just simply does not exist. Why would they consider a hypothetical where they had to choose between becoming immortal and, say, keeping their loved ones safe when that situation would simply never come to be. They would figure it out. They’re too smart. They’re special. Nothing can stop them.

Gosh... first time I've had a therian (wolverine) shift in... probably a year.

Missing my fur, whiskers, and claws. Did some art of Neumes and got feelings up and down my arms and back of missing my thick, oily fur. Soothing thoughts/tactile memories of what our manes feel like which is nice.

I usually don't get any physical memories from the parallels but definitely have a bit of that tonight, just of running hands through our fur/hair and what it feels like.

Mostly... really gross. xD But comforting. Longgg guard hairs, thick, coarse, silky, and very oily. Like lanolin but stains black and smells of Abyss rot. Neumes is the worst in that regard. It stains almost like used engine oil or ferrofluid--it doesn't dilute, it stays black even when you barely touch it.

im not particularly religious but i think it’s very cute that Trans Day of Visibility and Easter are on the same day this year :)

its no question that something like this could be triggering or upsetting to a number of queer ppl given the current sociopolitical climate, so i want everyone to remember that u are loved! something that really stands out to me about dungeon meshi is that its not like its got these really complex and profound themes coyly tucked away behind a bunch of goofy food/cooking motifs. the goofy food/cooking motifs ARE the complex and profound themes, and the real "oh" moment that notoriously hits everyone like a freight train when theyre reading/watching it isnt the realization that theres story here, but the realization that there was story all along. like. dungeon meshi is about food but its also about hunger. its about ecosystems but its also about community. its about the natural cycle of life/death but its also about legacy. its also about izutsumi

I’m sure this has nothing to do with the fact that andrastes mother was part of a tribe who helped the grey wardens fight and defeat dumat the same year she was born, meaning that she could have been a fetus affected by the taint in the proximity of a dying arch demon

And the fact that nobody knows which grey warden killed dumat, as seven wardens died from injuries from his death throes, and therefore we cannot actually identify a warden who absorbed his soul, means nothing

And I’m sure it is a complete coincidence that andraste had dreams and visions of the being later referred to as the maker her whole life, and behaved strangely, talking about hearing lost voices and seeing strange auras. That absolutely doesn’t sound like anyone else we know
