I'm sure Bishop was a mutated human, almost like '12 April, it's never explained exactly what the greymen did to him, only that they gave him enhanced abilities and made him virtually immortal.

I'm really interested how you will do his story in Rise, it would be really interesting if he had history with the Krang, like instead of the greyman it was the Krang who experimented on him in this version, the writers confirmed that there are several types of Krang and not all of them would turn you into a zombie as soon as they saw you.

Also, I really need someone who is able to give Draxum a good punch and make him doubt his reality. Even if that someone causes trouble later on.

I have the scenepack of all of Bishop's 2003 scenes somewhere in my tabs. I watched part of it, will hopefully watch the rest when I get to actually writing Bishop. If I can find it in my tabs, that is.

#18 - Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

Fanfic titles are the bane of my existence. Basically all of them - with the exception of pieces that have longer pre-planning stages like “Fallout” - are the very last thing I write while setting the story in AO3. It’s basically tradition for me to message my beta reader about how much I hate coming up with a title when I reach that stage.

I cannot overstate this point enough. 9/10 times you read one of my fics, the title is something I fumbled with before hitting post. There’s no real pattern to them either, except in particular cases like my “Sapphic Valley” series where every title is a Taylor Swift song as determined by my Swiftie friend (who plays the Gardenia character) based on the vibe of each piece.

#31 - Do you start with the characters or the plot when writing?

This could go either way, honestly.

Most of my fics start as a character-driven idea. I’ll be interested in writing about a particular pairing or dynamic, and that drives the process of figuring out how I want to throw them against each other.

However, I also base a lot of my stories on little personal experiences or a visual scene that’s striking in my head. If those aren’t inherent to one character or character set (for example, a Pokemon battle between specific folks), then I’ll sometimes fit characters into the scene.

That being said… Shipping is one of my main drivers for writing. So you can generally assume I’m character-first.

things that piss me off as someone who travels to school as a pedestrian:

people who stop on cross walks

the cross walk is there for a reason, and if you expect me to go into a busy road because pedestrians technically have the right of way, just because you want to get a headstart with your turn, you should shift your expectations and your stopping position. turn signals exist for a reason, you don’t have to hog the street just to signify you want to turn

people who don’t use their signals nearly as much as they should

i get it, the street is empty and you just want to change lanes, go ahead. but if there are other cars or pedestrian vehicles on the road (especially near and adjacent to you) please just signal. it’s not hard, and it makes things so much clearer and safer. same with merges, as many merging lanes go through bike lanes. Turn Signals are Not Just for Turns.

people who insist on turning on red lights

ok, maybe there’s no signs there, maybe you technically can turn on red. but at least look out for anyone who may be crossing on that red light. having to stop in the middle of the road is scary, especially when it’s because someone just sped a turn past you, so please just look out and make sure no one’s crossing if you wanna turn on that red light. just like you were taught as a child, look both ways before you cross. the street is now the pedestrians’, it’s now of the cars driving perpendicular to you, look both ways.

this is not a comprehensive list like at all, just a rant of some things on my mind, cuz i encounter each of these on a daily basis and it’s annoying and terrifying
