most art pre Viddy Game Hyperfixations was for dA groups! which meant mostly warrior cats until ~2016 and then mostly evolving species groups after that
#damn almost 10 years of this now..#there is still a lot of old art that i really enjoy#like. ngl that tiger from sep '15 still rules#but also a bunch of stuff that isnt on here#also surprisingly it's not even *that* apparent just how big the dragon age brainrot has been fjsdflsdjfklg#like. there are more poe pieces on this year's summary than dragon age pieces on any previous one lmaoo#i can absolutely see though that 2016 was a warriors year; 17 my wyngro year; and 18-20 my whistler crest years haha#was gonna say surprisingly little kh on any of these but then again they were mostly doodles and not finished pieces#and i was still pretty self conscious abt drawing humans at that time#but. yea! lil art throwback :]#my art#in retrospect it does annoy me a little that i used a round format for two years jfsdklfjlsjfkls#(btw ignore that it says 2012 summary; that's 2017 i just forgot to edit the year)#and hm. maybe i should go back and make some for earlier years too.....#might be hard though bc it's gonna be a lot harder to find out the exact date for things

Sooo... There’s this newer show called Daniel Spellbound and this demon guy named Jayce Chinda in the second season, who I’ve kind of attached myself to recently and very suddenly, but I will add admit, I feel the show could have been much better and I’m sad about that. 😭 You can tell there’s a lot of constraints from budget and time that limited it a lot. It’s an urban fantasy setting with some cool concepts and good & diverse character designs, and whoever is doing the color keys for the show is on point, but it does end up feeling lacking in most other things to me unfortunately.
Jayce here sadly only mostly looked like the first few pics here. No tail or other horns. 😔 I don’t want to give spoilers, but it definitely felt like his narrative was leaning toward him having a bigger, badder demon form or at least something change, but he did not and I was rather disappointed.
So I gotta do it myself I guess.
But yeah, I’m back on my bullshit and have gone and run off with the AU stuff as I usually do and will say in advance that most of my fanart is only vaguely rooted in what was given in the canon if you’re wanting to check out the show and expect something else! I’m just glad to want to draw something again tho, it’s been ages.

happy 10th anniversary to when I started remembering everything forever
#the day i watched that video#that led me to another video#where i heard that song#that got me into that band#and i became obsessed with that genre#and 13yo me was like ''this seems like a significant moment. maybe i should remember it'' and then i have done so with#every memory since then#anyway apparently 6 sep 2013 was when i liked the video#also while we're at it. happy 9th anniversary to the depression day 1#nothing caused it in particular i just. got depressed on that day and then my brain has been different since#idk what i was doing 8 years ago. probably depriving myself of sleep to get high and probably listening to the who#actually wait no the day before i read about the catcher in the rye and 15yo me was like wow he sounds soo <3<3#so i imagine the next day i was Thinking about holden caulfield. even though i didn't read the book until december#i know this day in 2016 i was listening to the monkees. nothing specific i just know i was going through another massive monkees phase#2017?????? no recollection#2018? also idk#2019 i feel like despite being a good year some bad vibes were starting to settle in#2020 i was on a camping trip :)#2021 i was also on a camping trip :) but this one was dead. first one was good though#2022 i was probably at work. thinking about swag. eating honeycomb bites. and watching breaking bad i imagine#and 2023 i am in the sad thoughts bc i need to get a job but my executive dysfunction is preventing me from doing anything#anyway happy 10 years of weird obsessive memory hoarding <3#ramble
