What if as the same way that the Ancient Hero spirit let Link their aspect, Mineru do the same with Tauro?

So this is my last brain cell doing something, just like the belt of Link can turn him into a kind of Zonai, what if Mineru with her mask could turn Tauro in a Zonai like her?

So, with the Ancient Hero aspect, that thing adapts for Link so he can still have his scars and other stuff, and the new hair grow more red-blond that just red

With Tauro, things are similar so he looks more as him, but still in the same spec of Zonai that Mineru was I can see this as a gift of Mineru to his favorite archeologist just before she passed away

Lauro as Zonai bcs this is actually a thing that I never saw with anyone else and guys, just think about them as silly cats in love, so much potential!

Spirit dragon/dragon link concept

As per the previous posts, I give you my rough concept for the spirit dragon

I wanted it similar to the light dragon but still distinctive

I love having all the Sages with me as a bunch of fighting buddies. I call them the Standing Army and I pull them out whenever I hit a bokoblin camp or something

Ok I'm deeply impressed at how effectively y'all have been keeping quiet about endgame stuff bc I JUST found the sage of spirit and that was a FANTASTIC slow reveal. I'm super pumped for this dungeon.

Also the whole castle sequence was absolutely BRILLIANT. Really good construction. I'm super impressed.

(maybe) Hot take: I don't like that mineru was the sage of spirit. I think it should've been purah or paya not someone we see in like 2 flashbacks. Raru also would've been better... I just... have no emotional investment in mineru ...

I'm making this more cartoon, I love Zonai Wild as a tiger/lion and all that stuff but that takes time that I don't have, maybe some doodles in the future

Mineru is the best sage hands down. Her soul's literally in a robot and that's so fucking cool. You can ride on her back and control her (but that's optional) and change her weapons. I'll take a robot over the spirit vestiges any day

that sounds like the title of a fic. anyway

welcome back to artie rants, on today’s menu: mineru.

i’ve heard a lot of people talk about how useless she is. how she feels forced, and the way it feels like she was added last minute. i agree. she feels super rushed and her avatar is basically good for nothing.

but the music surrounding her area? oh boy.

i remember when i first ascended down the chasm in tobio’s hollow and i reached the construct facility. it was your usual ascending music to the depths, and then suddenly it became calm. soothing. it’s not like in the rest of the depths, where the music is downright chilling and almost unsettling. around the factory it’s pleasant.

even after completing the quest i still find myself teleporting back there to just stand there and listen because man. i don’t remember the last time i’ve been this moved by a part of a soundtrack.

tldr the soundtrack of totk is fucking amazing and i found a new favorite next to naboris chase sequence from botw
