i sincerely hope that next season rings of power casts more actors of color in roles that don't end with them getting killed off. i realize with a prequel that contains a mixture of canon and original characters they have constraints about how they can kill off and apparently don't feel that they can cast actors of color as canon characters but like…do better please

Gonna post the little headshots used for this piece of many of my favourite characters, but in alphabetical order rather than the order they appeared in the gif

1.Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z was one of those characters I just wanted to be as a child, I just think he's real neat.

2. Pinkie Pie from MLP FIM is a character I love who I feel like I wouldn't usually, loud, annoying, sometimes a total ass, but yet she still pulled me in. She's got a lot of good in her too.

3.Pink Onyx from the @pink-onyx-au I really love this AU and the development of Jasper and by extension Pink Onyx, has been really enjoyable so far, really impressed by it and excited to see more.

4. Puar from Dragon Ball z is one of those characters I just like cuz he's so gosh darn cute.

5.Raine Whispers from The Owl House I loved getting to know them slowly over the course of the series, but I miss them so bad now.

6.Doug Rattmann from Portal, if anyone has followed my main account for 13 years (I don't think so tbf) you'll know I was obsessed with this dude big time, loved a mentally ill person being so capable yet still obviously effected by it, his song, that scary audio of him ranting and whispering when you get close to his murals, the mystery spanning both games, he deserves more love.

7.Paul Tejada from New Vegas was one of the best companions in that game in my experience, I really enjoyed getting to know him as we traveled the waste, and seeing his different reactions to different events. 100/10 knocked it outta the park

8. Rex also of New Vegas is one of those animal companions I immediately attach to, I love his quest with its multiple endings, and I'm glad I was nice enough to the kings to get to travel with him.

9.Rian from The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Our tragic prince of pain for that series, he loses EVERYTHING man, it is so damn sad to see, as is the plight of all under the Skeksis, but he really grabbed my heart. his voice acting and puppetry is great and really endears you to the characters. Whenever I see him I hear SkekSil in my head saying "Gobbled up by Gobbles", it wont stop.

I am low key obsessed with the Dragon Prince of Alaska books--which I'm pretty sure exactly three people have read but more should because they're darling--and so because it makes me happy, I'm ranking the six princes. If spoilers bother you, I would advise bailing now, becausethere are spoilers below the break. Go read these books and then come check out my ranking.

Everyone please remember that this is a subjective list. Feel free to reblog with your ranking! Mine is as follows:

Rian. He is earnest AF, well read, and lives in a library. Also, he would read to me. He also handles chronic illness EXTREMELY well. 10/10 no notes.

Kenth. This man is pure chaos dad energy and THAT IS STILL NOT A PLAN! I am sold on this energy and he is an excellent dad, which honestly is never not awesome.

Tray. If Kenth has chaos dad energy, Tray has dad joke and prankster energy, which just makes me smile while scolding him. Sheer fun gets you a pretty high slot on the list. Also, if I had to be a cult's hostage, I'd want to share a cell with this man.

Raval. In all honesty, Raval and Toren could tie, but I'm putting Raval up a step because MAGIC TIME TRAVELING CAR.

Toren. Baby prince who steps up has even more earnest energy than Rian, plus he's dramatical cats. He's just a sweetie pie, even if he is objectively the blandest brother.

Fask. THIS ASSHOLE. Expert statesmanship and a charisma score higher than Denali is tall does NOT excuse getting your mother killed, repudiating your dragon, murdering your father, and working with a cult to destroy eleven kingdoms. Like, broski. Those are your BROTHERS and their FATED MATES. Don't be a dick.

Azure: So, I was wondering. I need to go into town to grab some ingredients to make a pie. The festival’s only a few days away. Do you want to come with me?

I haven't felt attraction in 18 months, so instead of a romantic valentines-y piece I decided to indulge myself and draw 70ish of my favourite characters from media, but plenty of my most adored were missed out, I just reached the time limit before i could finish more.

I dunno why Dale Cooper looks so much like David Schimer I couldn't fix it.

"Why?" Riandur posed the question now, and perhaps it was cruel. He wasn't always like this, but the brutal truth was perhaps something that no one had given Tianyou. Sure, the High Elvhen couldn't lie, and he was sure that plenty considered the quest to be a dutiful one, a brave one, even. Rian didn't wish to feel the other's disappointment when his father inevitably died. Now, in a few hundred years – what was the difference if the Elvhen was infected with the Blight? "Your noble efforts doesn't grant you any bigger piece of this fuckin' pie than anyone else, love." His words were harsh, but his tone was...not as sharp as he wanted it to be.

Tianyou had always been his love, that hadn't changed. Time and distance had created a rift, but what had seemed like a massive canyon was perhaps just a crack in the foundation. Rian wished it was further apart now. "Fate decided a long time ago what I was made to do, and where I was meant to go." Death, clearly. It was at his fingertips, it was reflected in the unearthly green that shone when his power was activated. "That distance is the only thing that kept you away from the Blight. What I thought would keep you away. But it's found you anyway. I didn't want this for you."

In theory, Tianyou should have kept this information to himself and the lovely scholar that had given him said information. However, it felt like somehow Riandur would have found out about it at some point. They were clearly going to be in the same place now, or around the same place, so they were sure to run into each other more often than not. Who knew what kind of conversations the two of them would have in that time before he made his way back to Avalon. "He's not still there. He died. But that was where he was brought to find a cure." A sigh left his mouth the silver elvhen's question. He didn't really have time to be explaining this, but it wasn't like getting to the Deadlands in any sort of urgency would help anything anyway. "I'll march anywhere to save my father, Riandur." But he was sure the other knew that well enough by now. There was nothing he cared more for than his family and that meant that he would do damn near anything for them. No matter the consequence.

Riandur wasn't his family, but the man fell into that same category regardless. It was a mistake to fall in love with someone whose time was finite. Still, he had and still, he had to deal with the other's his annoying little comments all the time. He supposed he had always been drawn towards toxic men. This one just so happened to also be a murderer. What a choice he had made. Would he decide differently if given another chance though? Probably not. Unfortunately for them both, they were stuck with each other. Or maybe they were fortunate. Whatever. Riandur had moved closer with his rant and Tianyou just stood there. "I think little of anything that could take you away from me." He had never said he wasn't selfish when he wanted to be.

How does it look when Storm Bringer crew goes out for an ice cream?

What is Hannah's favourite flavour? How long do they spend arguing about what flavour is the best? Who manages to buy an absurdly big sundae? Does anyone end up covered head-to-toe in melted ice cream?

It's a chaotic affair and it takes forever to wrangle everyone up just so they can even get to the place. Though, that's just the norm for them whenever they go anywhere and chances are high that they'll end up getting kicked out of the place by the end of the outing.

Hannah adored vanilla ice cream cones as well as rocky road ones. Can never decide which is her favorite.

Luke enjoys absurdly big Movie Madness sundaes.

Treycor likes simple chocolate milk shakes.

John loves chocolate sundaes drowned in fudge with a drizzle of lime syrup.

Darcy loves charcoal ice cream cones with black sprinkles and blue berries on top.

Skia usually enjoys a simple vanilla ice cream in a cup.

Aaron loves a strawberry ice cream cone with skittles and gummy bears sprinkled in while Genesis perfers a plain strawberry Milkshake and Luis perfers a waffle bowl full of strawberry ice cream dosed in chocolate syrup and oreo crums.

Anna loves cherry ice cream with a simple waffle cone and strawberry syrup.

Alex loves rum raisin ice cream (especially if there's rum in it).

Atlas is a baby and loves any non sour ice creams and is usually the one who ends up covered in melted ice cream and toppings. Somehow he even ends up covered in other people's ice cream.

Craven loves chocolate milk shakes with whipped cream and sprinkles on top.

Jolene loved chocolate pudding pops.

Skelebar, Francesca, Fiona, and Rian love coffee flavored ice cream.

Liberty loves a nice simple lemon pop as does Evelyn.

Josh likes a mix of chocolate and strawberry ice cream.

Eduardo loves wine Popsicles.

Isaac loves a coke float and James loves soft served Coca-Cola ice cream.

Haul loves brownie batter shakes.

Noah, of course, loves pomegranate ice cream cones with rainbow sprinkles, bird seeds, whipped cream, a dribble of chocolate fudge, and oreo crums.

Peachy loves Apple pie ice cream bowls.

Remi loves cookie dough ice cream in a waffle bowl with chocolate syrup, chocolate fudge, and brownie bits in it mixed with oreos.

Hope loves marshmallow swirl ice cream cones.

Herlando loves cookies and cream ice cream milkshake with sprinkles and strawberry fudge topped with a cherry.

Parker loves a donut raisin rum ice cream sandwich.

Ike loves orange crush push up pops as does Howiee, though he perfers an orange juice gummy bear popsicle.

Levi loves fondue ice cream bowls.

Misty loves kelp ice cream pops.

Gunner loves lemon ice cream cones with sour patch kids ontop.

And finally, Moxie loves himself a cheeseburger favored and earl grey flavored sundae much to everyone's disgust that Rian secretly loves as well.

And they can spend several hours arguing over which is the best flavor even though they can all agree that the last one is disgusting.

❝ one of a kind is definitely one way to put it, ❞ she teases, sliding the glass across the bar top. it was something she'd always thought looked so cool in movies and shit, except most people ( most people ) would just fumble it or let the tumbler go crashing to the floor on their side.

rian isn't most people.

which, well, yeah, duh. cowboys may be few and far between in the city as a general rule, but even so. cowboys with the whole, like, big brimmed hat and hanky mask, though? yeah. one of a kind for sure. he's definitely on the rarer side when it comes to The Last Man's regulars. and that's really saying something, isn't it?

❝ aww, well aren't you just sweet as apple pie, ❞ ren coos, valley accent so far off from the southern twang you'd expect from the expression it almost makes her laugh. she means to tease more ( just like always ) , but there's just... something to the way he says it all. maybe it's in the tilt of his head or the light in his eyes, subtle lilt in his voice, that makes her pause. head tilts to one side, blue-grey stare sliding over him as she tries to piece it all together.

there's only so much she can intuit from a handful of sentences and hazel eyes in a darkened bar room.

❝ i can definitely help with that last bit, if nothin' else. ❞ she eyes him out of her peripherals, turning to collect a couple used glasses. ❝ you been up to anything fun since we parted ways? ❞

❝ NO, I AM ONE OF A kind. ❞ she was lucky in that regard, perhaps. his presence, the imposing nature of his hat, his mask... could not be replicated. everyone's life was in his rough but FRIENDLY hands.

he'd stumbled on this place by accident, found kinship in the bartender. realized he might have found a place that he could consider a HOME BASE. a place he returned to. there were thousands upon thousands of buildings he could wander into, in london, los angeles... but he chooses here.

there was safety at this bar. a familiarity that didn't lead to too many questions, or odd looks. rian knew he could come and have a drink and not say a word if he wanted to, or a lot, if the inspiration hit.

tonight was an odd one.

where he sat in the line of okay and not was thin, STRETCHED between the pain he'd seen and the soft woman with those kind eyes that he'd taken the hand of. tonight, he was struggling to SEPARATE. that wasn't unusual, especially in his earlier days, but he'd been better. he'd gotten used to the sadness.
