Day 1 of Neotober made by @fall-of-a-girl was NP Item and I picked

Almost 2 weeks into October I started a drawing challenge after I said I wouldn't bc I am art-blocked sooo bad!

I drew "Illusen Halloween Pumpkin Decoration" which is a neohome item. Since I was just on her team, and I love pumpkins and the colour green, felt like a good fit!

Gonna try and do more a bit quicker but I have been fighting to get myself to draw lately so I'll take it being done at the least!

Amber Sweet, from Repo! the Genetic Opera, a character I have an unhealthy obsession with, even tho I didn't even like Repo the first time I watched it. ^^'

Arcade Ganon, The iconic very stressed lil healer man from New Vegas, great personality, funny lines and delivery, memorable design in a grounded setting.

Atsuki! from Not So Typical Magical Girls by @ihf-arts! We've only had a chapter or so with him so far, but he's nestled himself into my heart. I love his design and it's colour palette, love his personality, and back story. just a great lil dude.

Ava Ire from Ava's Demon ! That comic is so dang intriguing and I do enjoy a lot of the characters, but Ava is just a lil more special to me, also love that she and my OC Fulo have simialir colour palletes, not much else in common, minus demon association. :P

Benny from New Vegas, oh what a stinky little slime ball with some brilliantly bad voice acting. I have nothing good to say about this man but I love him anyway.

Bismuth from SU, she and Steg (who will arrive later) got a bit of a hard time in the fandom, not so much as characters but for the plot around them? hard to explain, but yeah I love her massively, well voice acted, usually well animated, and her colour palette is fantastic, 10/10 best in the bismuth.

Bulbasaur! HES NUMBER ONE! (This is repeated endlessly)

Chell, the protagonist of both mainline portal games, and yet also looks very different between them. While I think Portal 2 Chell is a good-looking design, Portal 1 Chell kinda makes more sense for how run-down Appeture is in places

Gordon Cole from Twin Peaks, with the shortened quote "I told your colleagues to fix their heart or die." he said in show to a trans character, which I hold close to my heart.

Ending my winter art break with a silly little chibi image of Likhithas and Landon getting wings.

By this point in the story, Landon is still in his extremely awkward phase and is easily spooked, but the wings give both of them a bit of extra independence.

Until they have them, they can float but not fly, so they're dependant on folks around them who can fly to exit some dangerous situation up until here.

Gumi from Vocaloid! I love most Gumi designs but matryoshka is one of the coolest of all Gumis! Theres no strict personality for the character because Vocaloids are just voices to sing songs, but I always have fun with a Gumi track.

Guzma, the only human pokemon character I picked for this! I have such a soft spot for this extremely tired man, adore him. I really need to watch the sun and moon anime bc I've only played the game.

Harley Quinn from DC Comics! especially with her classic suit and original voice actor.

Howleen from G1 of Monster High, her first look was soooo good but Mattel just dumped it, the biggest tragedy in monster high history.

Juri Han from the Street Fighter series. Loved her for a long time now, I haven't played a street fighter game in years, but her design and stories keep me checking it out from a distance.

Kerropi the Frog from Sanrio, as much as I'm iffy on Sanrio for some of the groups they assoisate with, I can't stop loving Kerropi. I just can't.

Kite from .hack// Mostly the original era of games/anime/manga as I'm not a huge fan of what I've experienced in the GU era (you can marry a mentally ill child??) but he was what I wish I could look like gender wise at like 14

K.K. Slider, such a talented dude, love when he goes AWooooo in his songs.

Lake from Infinity Train another character who is just so gender, and her story is pretty gripping, and while I do enjoy the ship with Jessie, I can say it is refreshing to have a duo like them that stays friends instead of get shoved together for points with the fandom *cough*starco*cough*

1.Laura Palmer, from Twin Peaks. Oh Laura, theres no words to describe how much I wanted anything to go good for you, but alas, we don't always get what we want in life.

2. Lily Bowen from Fallout New Vegas is also fairly tragic, losing her mind after decades of extended life as a nightkin, i loved having her as a companion and exploring her stories.

3. Lucky Maxwell from Ride or Die webcomic I love him so much, and I'm so enjoying the time we've been getting with him slowly figuring out what's going on, it's been a wild ride [;)] so far.

4.Lucy MacLean, of the Fallout TV show, I usually don't like the quirky zoe dechanel main character type, but Lucy is such a perfect subversion to the visuals of the waste land, and the attitudes of it. While her dad is terrible, he raised her to be a fantastic person so far.

5. Mako Mori from PAcific Rim, who I just loooove, I love how the movie kinda brings you in with Raleigh, then bam, the most of the story does focus on Mako and her experiences. Such a loss that we got an absolutely awful sequel.

6.Maleficent from the old Sleeping Beauty movie and Kingdon Hearts. Love me that tall green dragon lady, I literally have a funko pop of her at eye level right now.

7. Matthew Patel from Scott Pilgrim. I love this man in every way in every form her takes. he is just so dang neat to me and I have never felt the way I do about him, towards another character until...

8.Maximus! The man himself. He has been living rent free in my mind since the end of episode 3, and it feels like I am dying a little more, every moment I don't get more media of him. I'd say I can't explain it, but I can, he's brilliant, funny when he doesn't mean to be, fully emotional in believable ways, and just so unintentionally charming in his awkwardness from growing up in a cult. there's a figure of him that's like amazing but way too expensive and it wont leave my head, even tho it costs as much as the replacement chair i need for my PC table.

9. Queen Mera from DC, shes wicked, her design is gorgeous, and i love how often we see her under water hair flowing around beautifully. She was the only thing worth watching in that second aquaman movie, the first one and justice league had other good points too so can't say the same for them.

The Collector from The Owl House! The character design is right up my alley as a space-obsessed man-child, their attitude, flaws, and the complex feelings he experiences throughout the show are really interesting, also their changes to the world may have been horrific, but the aesthetic? To die for.

Dale 'Coop' Copper from Twin Peaks, more the original run than the 2017 series version of Coop, he's just neat, I like him, I love how much he loves people, and how people just seem to be drawn to love him. great character.

Right beside Coop is an old friend Denise Bryson, probably one of the (wildly) more controversial characters of Twin Peaks, but she holds a special place in my heart being a character who is treated equally by our main character and audience surrogate. Plus she's so damn smart, funny, and pretty.

Dr. Ariel Celandine is the best part of Neopets mobile game Tales of Darcadia. Sweet, ditzy, yet incredibly intelligent? and I'm a sucker for an anthro bug, they look cool af.

Drifloon, One of my favourite pokemon, scary and cute all together.

Ekko from Arcane is the most recent addition to my endless list of fave characters, Ekko is probably the BEST part of Arcane IMO, and helps work to cover some of the weaker parts of the series. He's just a great man, doing everything he can to create a safe and healthy community for the people he cares for, and the nature he nurtures. I would die for him.

Frankie Stien, specifically g3 but straight up I love every gen of Frankie, this one just has a special place in my heart for being an enby, and in a very cute relationship with Cleo.

Glad0s! I think she's the most visually iconic characters of this set, shes just so damn cool, her voice acting is fantastic, back story is engaging and exciting, and she gets way too many good lines. she's the GOAT.

Grace Monroe from Infinity Train is one of my favourite problematic fave, partly because shes a literal child and has more reason than any adult to be as problematic as she is, never mind her familial back story explaining why her judgement isn't the best, even for a teen. She's wicked and I wish we got to see more of her, and infinity train as a whole.

Let's start the year with two of my most important babies, Likhithas and Landon!

In what is tentatively being called their "Revolt" Looks, which just means their second form as demons where they gain wings.

This is meant to be right after gaining this freedom, but Lan is having trouble making his wings less...blocky, and more like Lith's.

Their physical form is based on their mental image of themselves, so Lan will get there, just has to think a little harder.

Taking a break from art so here's the last for 2024!

January Bruce, but PORPLE. It's probably in my top three of the year. The reference was extremely helpful, and I feel like this wouldn't have come out as good without it. However, I do adore what I added. It must have been a birthday gift to myself this year.

February The first drawing of these two together! I love these Ixi's with all my heart, probably my favourite Neopet-ocs by far.

March Raleigh as a wooden puppet! The texturing was fun, and the shading was surprisingly less frustrating than I expected, love how unnatural his pose looks. Another contender for the top 5 of the year.

April My Love Bee (nicknamed Beefy) as a sea monster, this was an absolute joy to draw, I am pretty damn happy with it and I feel like it let me get to know my own OC better. another top 5'er

May and we're not done here, the third month in a row to top 5 in it! Shihosu, who's probably also a top 5 OC of mine, as a pirate? it works so damn well for her?? why didn't I think of having her be pirate-y before this? I can't get over it. ( also yes 4 of the 5 being in the first half of the month is a bad sign for my output and mental health for the rest of the year.)

June was a happy little piece I made to feel better and it worked, love these goobers and I would do anything to protect them.

July was artfight and finally an excuse to draw Angel! Who belongs to @sug01s3al. Angel was a joy to draw, even if it was a lot of work, it felt worth it. (Their recent Death Twink design for Angel has me doing eye emojis every time I see it.)

Also this is the final entry to the top 5 for this year, not sure where anything would sit tbh, but they're all competing.

August was a redraw which I, now, typically try to avoid putting in top lists like this, but I loved this piece and I sweated over it working my ass off to make it nice, I'm giving myself this one.

September was the tooth faerie from Neopets! one of my favourite Neopets characters. worked hard on this and enjoyed it, but it was also during a wrist injury that month so, I think this isn't half bad tbh!

October marked the start of my pieces for the Neotober prompt list made by fall-of-a-girl and I believe this was the first animated piece I did for this! I'm so grateful to @Fall-of-a-girl bc somehow their prompt list inspired me to do a few animations after months of doing basically none.

November was this sweet little illustration of Sophie, I just really love this one.

And Finally,

December was one of my last pieces for Neotober, Ebony and Seshora return to this list, being just as cute. I LOVE THEM!

Been struggling with art as I keep saying, so bullying myself by making wheel decide, pick my art for me. :P ones set up for all the days I haven’t done of Unknown Spys dressuptober prompt page, and the other has the most complete list of my Frenrar OCs who make up the bulk of my ocs, but theres more of them than days, so not everyone will be drawn, which i like, maybe some lesser known OCs will pop up!

Kitty has been severely neglected so that ref image is...awkward, but also...nyehh I just need to know  how she looks.

Don’t think I’ve drawn underboob art, for a while...maybe ever??? which is wild but i am very particular about what clothes I like.
