I wanna take a crack at making some fake screenshot graphics for my Sif Odile duo loopers au but I do not feel confident enough in my ability to mimic isat's art style and I also have a crippling fear of drawing backgrounds

- he would fucking love sudoku. and minesweeper for that matter.

- he and quincey have brother dynamic . and autism to autism communication

- in my heart. him and mina do crosswords together

- i like the idea of him being a writer or painter.. writer moreso kind of just because my brain associates him more with typewriters

- i also think before dracula made him have a bluetooth connection to him and then seward happened that he was a sports guy. tennis in particular (existed in that time period!)

3. Favorite OC?

GAH THIS ONE IS RLY HARD LMAO I HAVE A LOT OF FAVORITES? My skrunklies just kinda. rotate around in my mind. Some days it'll be one character and the next day another...

BUT to answer this in FAIRNESS I'll probably say Diogo! I've put the most effort and care into him and he's come a long way since he was first concepted, I suppose if I were to be "known" for any oc- I'd want it to be him! I also use him in DnD with my friends (which has some REALLY funny stories) along with him being a main character in mine and my bf's shared universe and story so....the bias is real actually. Who am I kidding it's Diogo he's my favorite /lh

4. Favorite OC design?

I can say this one also changes often but I'd be lying I'm absolutely obsessed w/Opal's design. He's just very fun and vibrant and I ADORE how they look. Sea Slug :) I just rly like looking at and drawing him so GKNHKGHNK

Also he's inspired by RouxIs who's design I already love tenfold so once again Bias Is Real Actually LMAO

6. Describe your character creation process?

CHARACTER CREATION IS PRETTY WEIRD WITH ME I tend to make the "character" first before the design! I need to have some, idea where I want to go with the character so I can give them the proper personality/wardrobe whenever I work on the art.

So after chara dev THEN I usually move onto the design lol sometimes as I'm doodling a design I come up w/an idea for them and rework the sketch to better reflect it. Either way I like having SOME semblance of an idea of what I want them to do/be like before I start designing! It also helps me visualize some ideas before i just go into it- bc have problems visualizing designs and putting them to paper just out of the blue

Working on the art side of a design is. hard NGHKGNKH and I'm not immune to looking up references- esp for outfits bc those are HARD to design. Good Lird. Usually sketching the base design is the easiest for me bc I have a general good idea what I'm going for in terms of appearance, but when I move onto colors I GET REALLY PICKY LOL. I can spend like. 20 minutes trying to decide between two almost near identical colors. Colors. (derogatory)

But to get my ass to work on the art of a design I have to be in the right headspace bc I am. VERY selective with how I design characters bc a lot of times I can't properly convey whats in my head onto the character bc I can visualize them up there in the brain and through words but I can't get it down on paper. (Which is why im VERY thankful for Rob, I can explain what I'm going for in detail and he's REALLY GOOD at drawing from that and I appreciate it a lot. He helps me a lot w/the art side of designing) Art hard <3 I am a better writer <3 GNHKGHKGHGH

Gestures vaguely. Character creation wild and I do not always follow this process LMAO esp when it's a character that I like, bought from someone (Like Rob's adopts or smth) then I just do the chara dev part but even then I'm picky w/which designs I get that way bc I need to make sure I CAN use them as a character and I don't just like the design and have 0 ideas for them. Bc being able to use and write about a character and talk about them is more important to me than just having something I like visually but unable to really "do" anything with them!
