It’d be nice if people realized that changing the narrative from

“trans women are men invading women’s spaces; they need nothing from here because women’s spaces are things like women’s bathrooms or obgyns and mammograms and abortion clinics and other medical spaces”

to

“trans men are men invading women’s spaces; they need nothing from here because women’s spaces are things like women’s bathrooms or book clubs and shelters and safe spaces and other social spaces”

will still only promote transvestigation.

That’s why we need to stop gender-segregating spaces. Because that harms all trans people, always, but also if your focus is on specifically trans women it will always harm specifically trans women. That harm will come because there will be people who feel they must look out for invaders in their spaces.
