anyway by far the best thing to come out of shadowlands was the moth mounts. i love these things so fucking much. they're so cute it's criminal. if getting them didn't require going back to shadowlands content i would become a hardcore collector of these bad boys in an instant. i am simply brought to tears over how lovely these bugs are okay

#this is the reason why i say the art direction in SPECIFICALLY the latter half of shadowlands was bad #like. the base four zones? actually pretty fire. i unironically love revendreth and ardenweald (bastion too despite my Problems with it)#(maldraxxus... sorry buddy i can take or leave you lmao)#it's just the latter half that i think they dropped the ball. korthia and zereth mortis are just uninspired and dull #you can really tell they were putting all of their resources into dragonflight and slamming the emergency button #but the moth mounts.
