i think i know what you're talking about. i had a best friend that i ended a friendship with very drastically and for reasons and even though I still think it was a right decision for both of us i will never forget her because i realized many things after our break up that she will never know about and I know it wouldn't change anything but sometimes i dream about her and about confessing those feelings to her even after 11 years

it's tough. i never had feelings for my friend (who, similarly, was also my best friend) but she's one of few people in my life who i can confidently say loved me, and i can say that i loved/love her. i think it's hard to face the fact that the reasons the friendship ended were necessary, but there's still that lingering selfish desire to reconnect in some way, even though you know it won't end in any way that you'd want

said bugs are also kinda spiderlike so i'm not sure what spider eggs would be like <- looked this up and just found some jokey answers and one serious answer on reddit saying it would be hard to eat spider eggs since they laid in sacs and coated in silk anyway skdfhs

oh, yeah I’m doing good! I have a few actually - I’ve been working on something original (if inspired by other games) in RPGmaker, as in the universe and lore and whatnot is something I’ve concocted on my own, when I make a good amount of headway it’s something I may talk about more but for now I’m going to keep it fairly contained

although I did post this little teaser for any who missed it

I’ve come up with a few different universes and such over the years with the main problem being I never really had a particular medium in mind for which to convey these and thus have yet to really shift into gear and make much out of them

it’s still fun to think about tho just conceptually heh

I posted about these two on Twitter - Mechana the bitter old mad scientist and Lucinda the big shot business woman

their story, Autonomy, is kinda like... evil corporations, mad scientists, robots, conspiracy, questions about mortality and morality and questions about what it means to be autonomous

another one, Into the Blue was an apocalypse setting story that I came up with a couple years ago too - very very different from LISA and the like, the world as we know it has been taken over and society collapsed by this immense, blue entity that has strands spreading through the ground and across the earth’s surface, sinking buildings and whatnot

Ken and Claire are the two protagonists, along with a group of scientists researching the entity

I also think one of my iconic OCs is this anthropomorphic cockroach - I half joke about it being like a “fursona” skdfh

they were also originally designed as an insert for a 1930′s cartoon

but eventually I gave them their own little story of sorts... in their universe there are also more realistic insects, or ones that become more realistic as Roachy’s state of mind changes

idk yeah, generally I don’t talk at length about original ideas with anyone who isnt close to me but it’s nice to know when people are genuinely interested in my ideas and my characters ^^
