There really is no meaningful distinction between Right Wing antisemitism and Left Wing antisemitism. At least not when it comes to their effects.
Right Wing antisemitism claims Jews are subhuman, or even non-human. Both a powerful elite and a class of pathetic vermin. Weak and strong. Dangerous yet easy targets to vent off a little societal steam. The perfect scapegoats.
Left Wing antisemitism claims Jews are a privileged class not in need of protection, not deserving of consideration. The beneficiaries of white/class privilege and also constantly attempting to cosplay marginalization for special treatment or attention or sympathy.
Both see Jews as a powerful force perverting society, while also feeling contempt for individual Jewish people, Jewish culture, Judaism, etc. as useless, lazy, whiny, entitled, and moronic. Are Left Wing antisemitism and Right Wing antisemitism really all that different in their core beliefs?
Right Wing antisemitism is often more openly violent, sure. It's often more of a direct call to action to harm Jews. It's often more outwardly and proudly genocidal in scope and intent. But Left Wing antisemitism can feel more insidious I imagine, as it looks at Right Wing antisemitism and especially in these times, increasingly says "So? What do you have to say about all the dead children in Gaza?"
Right Wing antisemites want to victimize Jews and Left Wing antisemites insist Jews cannot be victims. Do you not see how this is a deadly combination? And do you not see, how maybe after decades of thinking they could trust them, Jews are more upset about Left Wing goyim being antisemitic?
And that's not even touching on the Leftist antisemites who are being openly violently antisemitic in a Right Wing way but still insist on calling themselves Leftists. I'm taling about who I think is the greater percentage. The Leftists who see verifiable undeniable rising antisemitism and simply don't care because the Jews had it coming or the Jews need to do x, y, z before they deserve your pity or your help or your anything... this is a huge problem.

At this point, as a first generation American whose immigrant family has been through hell...I'm not willing to talk to people who are xenophobic.
Just did a fact-check on some lies about illegal immigrants being given good jobs, free housing, free health insurance, and kicking students out of schools so they could live there in exchange for voting Democrat. I don't like being lied to. I also don't insist something is true to other people unless I know it is. Spreading rumors about entire races being violent rapists getting freebies is how you incite violence (it also sounds exactly like what they say about black people- whether citizen or not.)
That's how you get here :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trump did nothing about immigration he tanked the economy and got like a million Americans killed by mismanaging the pandemic. Then even more when MAGA clowns decided to convince each other not to wear masks and get vaccinated. Does no one remember what Trump did in office. He singlehandedly brought neo-nazi's to mainstream politics. He did everything wrong yet Im supposed to think Biden was worse because house REPUBLICANS wouldn't sign a bi-partisan bill to address immigration?
If you are anti-immigration you should maybe read the fine print where it says you've now subscribed to white supremacy. Meaning you won't be helping Palestine by doing legwork for Trump/Maga. Meaning you wont be helping working class American's and the homeless by slut shaming Kamala and lying about her record as an Attorney General. Wont stop illegal immigration without acknowledging America's hand in them fleeing their countries which ironically is what Kamala was trying to do in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. I know it's nice to think America has nothing to do with South America but we do.
The only reality is that either Trump becomes a Dictator and ruins the life of anyone who isn't a conservative rich WM or Kamala wins and Democracy lives on.
A Trump Dictatorship will not help Palestine. There are valid ways to help. Share the links, show up at rallies to raise your voice, do the boycotts, DONATE some money.

anyone on twitter who labels themselves "cartoonist" is a red flag. nothing wrong with liking old cartoons. i love old cartoons. but every person who draws their art like them has aligned themselves with right wing views or associates with right wing people these past four years and excuses it with "they make valid points" or "they draw good" and im sick of it. do better.
this is such an egregiously ballsy attempt at bait that it isn’t even funny.. BUT IT IN FACT IS! because it’s the only reason i’m bothering to respond to this.
i’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt because i do think there are some good intentions somewhere. it’s certainly good to be aware of those spreading harmful ideas and thoughts, and that does need to be shut down. i appreciate you being cautious, and i get what you mean in that there is sometimes an overlap with how someone draws and what they associate with. it doesn’t sound like you’re very familiar with me or what i do and say. so, if i’m a complete stranger to you, then i can see where there would be wariness.
at the same time, there is this wonderful little idea in life about correlation not being causation. i would really appreciate it if you didn’t make incredibly baseless and harmful assumptions about me based on… how i draw and what i’m passionate about? there’s some awful strong verbiage in here. “every person” who is this every person? how does the label “cartoonist” exclusively tie to old cartoons? can you point in the direction where you find me liking, endorsing, or spreading right wing ideology? i get that i’m not exactly known for my role as a political blog, but i have to say that i don’t exactly appreciate the comparison to the same people who’ve called me a dyke all my life.
i am very passionate about the label of a “cartoonist”, which is why i’m choosing to take the bait and respond. i am a cartoonist. call me whatever you want. an artist. an illustrator. painter? animator? storyboard revisionist? a drawer, even! whatever. but i resonate especially with the connotations of a cartoonist—ones not created out of baseless accusations in an attempt to get attention.
there are people who try to steer others away from using the label cartoonist—this is the first argument for… this… that i’ve heard against it, but there’s a feeling that it’s “unprofessional” or “immature”. but that’s what i am! i love cartoons! i study cartoons! i draw cartoons! i make cartoons! cartoon is such a fun word. it’s innocent, it’s mischievous, it’s earnest. the push not to call oneself a cartoonist because it’s immature or unprofessional makes me all the more attached to it. because it’s what i do. it’s what i AM. cartoons dominate most aspects of my life, to an extent that most people would be like “…that doesn’t seem healthy.” and i do have enough support and other opportunities to keep me busy that keep me in the range of grass touching, thankfully! but cartoons have a deeply profound impact on my life and have since i was a young child. i embrace it especially now seeing as i am living a dream i never thought possible: working on one of the most beloved cartoons and pop culture iconoclasts period and hoping to inspire the kids watching today the same way i was inspired watching it years and years ago as an impressionable little child.
anyhoo. if you are actually sending this out of genuine intent and not just to stir the pot, then i’m at least hoping you’re just young and misinformed or your intentions are just misplaced. i don’t disagree that there are shitty people out there who probably do call themselves cartoonists, but a cartoonist is someone who draws cartoons. it’s not some sort of elusive dog whistle—not that i’m aware of, anyway. if you are indeed sending this in earnest, i appreciate you trying to be wary, but this is a very, very shallow mindset and baseless assumptions like these do more harm than good. i promise i’m more on your side than you think.
if you have a genuine issue with me or anything i say/do, then please send me a DM or ask off anon, because i’m always looking for ways to improve and reflect and be more aware as a person. i’m certainly not immune from criticism, and am always open for discussion. sending such a baseless ask on anon says to me that this isn’t necessarily the case here.
i hate getting sanctimonious and too serious, so i’ll end on a lighthearted note. this is the kind of stuff i draw. i’ve been listening obsessively to Mel Blanc as Porky Pig sing a song called “Giddyap Lazy Willie” for two days straight now. i promise i am not the threat that you think i am. look at how silly this is. it’s gonna be okay.

Hey can we remember that if we see a post like "here's a new sexuality/gender flag, murdersexual, it means that you're sexually attracted only to people you kill :)!!" or whatever, it's 100% made by a right wing troll to piss off queer people or to make queer people look bad or both.
Stop "spreading awareness" about "omg someone actually identifies as poisoning-someones-food-sexual look how fucked up this is". You're not helping people, you're just spreading queerphobic shit

dear americans,
as a polish queer woman and human rights activist, i know exactly how you're feeling right now and what to expect from these elections. i lived through the 2015-2023 regime of pis, a right-wing populist party that divided families in the same way trump did. i’ve experienced the rise of fascism in poland, the influence of far-right parties like konfederacja, and their “santa’s little helpers”—ordo iuris, an ultra-conservative catholic organization (banned in many countries, mind you) that helped enforce a near-total abortion ban and runs anti-queer campaigns in public spaces. i supported the black protests in 2016 as a middle schooler when they first tried to ban abortion. as an adult, i actively participated in the 2020 women’s strike, running from police tear gas daily after they finally passed the ban. i supported friends who faced charges.
i’ve lived through intense homophobia in poland as a queer teen and adult. i survived the first pride march in my hometown, where far-right extremists threw stones and glass at us. i endured the anti-queer propaganda spread by the ruling party in state-owned media. i survived the “rainbow night,” poland’s own stonewall moment in summer 2020, when police arrested around 50 queer activists following the arrest of margo, a nonbinary activist. i survived the "lgbt-free zones," the targeted violence, the slurs from strangers on the street, and the protests i held against queerphobia. it was hard as fuck, but i survived.
but just because i survived, it doesn’t mean others did. many women died because of the abortion ban—marta, justyna, izabela, dorota, joanna, maria, and many others who didn’t survive pis’s draconian anti-abortion laws. milo, kacper, michał, zuzia (she was 12), wiktor, and other queer and trans kids and young adults took their own lives because of the relentless queerphobia.
despite all of this, our experience in poland can serve as a guide now. here are some tips for staying safe and how we, polish queers and women, organized under the regime:
safety first, always. if you know someone who’s had an abortion, no you don’t. if you know someone is trans, no you don’t. if you know people who help with safe abortions, no you don’t—at least not until you know it’s 100% safe to share. if you are queer or have had an abortion, only share this with people you trust fully. most importantly, not everyone has to be an activist just because they’re part of a minority. if it feels unsafe to share that you're queer, trans, etc., then don’t. it doesn’t make you any less queer.
use secure, encrypted messaging like signal for conversations on potentially risky topics, such as queerness, abortion, organizing counter-actions, protests—anything that might be used against you.
stay anonymous online. if you want to research or report something without surveillance, do not use regular internet. get a vpn (mullvad is affordable and reliable), download the tor browser (for both onion and standard links), and if you plan to whistleblow, consider using a riseup email account.
organize and build networks. community is everything now. support each other, foster independence, because your government won’t have your back. set up collectives, grassroots movements. create lists of trusted professionals—lawyers, doctors, etc.—who can offer support.
to lawyers and doctors: please consider pro-bono work. this is what got us through poland’s hardest times. your work will be needed now more than ever.
for protests or risky actions: always write a pro-bono lawyer’s number on your arm with a permanent marker.
get to know the anarchist black cross federation and other resources on safety culture: "Starting an anarchist black cross group: A guide"; Still We Rise - A resource pack for transgender and non-gender conforming people in prison; Safe OUTside the system by the Audre Lorde Project;
for safe abortion info or involvement: get familiar with womenhelpwomen.
stay radical, stay strong, stay informed: The Anarchist Library
if i forgot to (or didn't) include something, don't hesitate to reblog this post with other resources.

okay, but on a serious note, as someone with a degree in history, this is a terrifying event. not only is this showing that our leaders and former leaders are not safe from an attack, but this attempt also happened against a former president that may will use this to his advantage. this man, a former REALITY TV STAR, knows how to play a crowd. he knows how to put on a show and manipulate people to be on his side. he already has an insane fan base who has ALREADY incited an insurrection attempt on the very government they CLAIM TO LOVE.
history loves a martyr, and a living martyr can make things worse. whether this was real or staged, it will be treated as real by every single news source that matters unless proven otherwise -- which could end up being proven years down the line. the right are already using this as a reason to vote for trump. I can't scroll through my facebook without people in every single group I'm in discussing this. all press is good press, especially to the right wing where they can spread their propaganda.
this night is going to be in history books. unless the American people come together, and EVERYONE who can vote against trump, votes for Biden (god help us), this night may very well be listed in the reasons fascism came to take hold of the United States.
you can read the reasons why World War I and II happened, and you can see the clear picture as all of those reasons are laid out in front of you.
Not to fear monger, but World War III's causes are already being laid out in front of us clearly, unless we can work together to stop it. Ukraine, Palestine, and many other places are already the places of first conflict. take a look around. read the news from all angles.
Vote. VOTE. V O T E. FUCKING VOTE. Biden is the much lesser of two evils, and it literally hurts to say that the president currently funding a Palestinian genocide is the better option, and the fact that I HAVE to vote for him in order to keep trump out of power is breaking me and everything I am inside. biden is funding it -- yet trump said he would help israel "finish the job"
donate to Palestinians. donate to the people of Ukraine. vote democrat in the 2024 election.
I'm sorry that this is not the most eloquently written tumblr essay, but I am terrified.

"Omg, you're so selfish for not fucking up your entire country for this other one."
Yes, yes I am so utterly "selfish" that I care about the rights and safety of all minorities in my country that consist of disabled, brown and black, immigrants, lgbtqia, and poor people etc in general.
I ain't a privileged little twat having a moralistic main character moment that will sacrifice people here for others. We need to take care of our own shit before we go all in for your cause because if we don't do so we will no longer be able to help anyone.
Blocking all suspicious accounts cause I ain't in the mood for right-wing-looking "vote third party" or "don't vote" fucks that want to not only destroy people in our country but want Mr. Finish The Job to be elected so he could obliterate your one-issue.
Let's see how well your stupid protest works then when we're all fucked and can't even help ourselves much less anyone else outside our country.
I recommend that everyone block the accounts spreading this copypaste anti voting propaganda bullshit. We saw it in 2016 and we should be intolerant to this crap.

This is why I do not call for the destruction or dismantling of countries. This is why I am wary and judgmental of those of you who do.
You sound like my right-wing father. You sound like the worst of American society.
I grew up in the 90’s. I grew up during a military operation called “Desert Storm”. To most people, they know it as the Gulf War. I grew up with a military father. I grew up with right-wing rhetoric. I grew up with someone who called for the destruction of countries.
“Glass the Middle East and turn it into a parking lot” was a very common sentiment at the time, and not just from my father. By “glass”, people mean to bomb these countries (many of which are deserts) so brutally that the sand itself melts into glass.
It is a call for genocide. It is the call for the dismantling of entire countries because their governments were “too evil”.
(Of course, that’s just the line the public was fed. Behind the scenes, it was also largely about access to oil, and we all know that)
The Gulf War was specifically about Iraq, but let’s be clear: Americans did not give a fuck which country it was, “The Middle East” was talked about as a single entity that was evil because it was Muslim. The civilians of these countries were simultaneously evil guerrilla combatants (because they were Muslim) and victims needing “liberation” by Americans. American soldiers were described as bringing “freedom” to the poor oppressed ignorant people of the Middle East. My father still hates all Muslims to this day.
10 years later, 9/11 happened.
Time will never erase the stomach-clenching fear I felt. Not fear of Saudi Arabia. I was 17 by then and I knew better. No, I was afraid FOR them, because I knew what America would do, and I hated it. I saw the people all around me once again calling for the destruction of a country, a government, and deciding America had the right to do it. I watched people froth at the mouth and pound their chests the chance to attack another middle eastern country. Islamophobic propaganda was absolutely everywhere, and life in America for anyone even suspected of being Muslim was a living hell.
So do excuse me when I side-eye you as you call for Israel’s destruction. Excuse me if I roll my eyes when you claim Hamas are “freedom fighters”. Excuse me when I hear you spreading blatant antisemitic propaganda like it’s truth. Excuse me as I see you blocking Jewish students on campuses, attacking synagogues, and screaming antisemitic slurs at Jewish school children.
Because at the end of the day, all of you calling for Israel’s destruction sound like my father.. It doesn’t matter what your justification is. I just see the same hatred that has consumed Americans since the 90’s aimed at MENA countries. You’ve just moved on to the next target. I grew up with this hateful rhetoric and I REJECTED it.
Why have you embraced it?
“But this time the country we’ve chosen to hate and that we’re saying deserves to be glassed actually deserves it! This time the civilians really are evil!”
Yeah. Sure.

Detransers and ex-gays are alike in that they try to portray themselves as simply offering up their own unique individual experiences while pushing narratives that directly feed right-wing paranoia towards the trans and gay communities. That's why conservatives are so keen to promote and amplify these people. They want you to believe that the trans community or the gay community has "victims" that are speaking out against them.
It's no coincidence that all the big "detrans" voices in the media paint a story of being rushed into transitioning and facing social pressure in favor of transitioning, when studies have consistently shown that most people who detransition do so not because they no longer identify as trans but because of medical complications, economic factors or social pressure *against* transitioning.
Where are all the detrans voices talking about being pressured by friends, family or partners into detransitioning despite a continued desire to transition? Where are all the detrans voices talking about losing access to HRT and being forced back into the closet? Where are all the detrans voices talking about having to choose between transitioning or keeping their job? These people are out there. These are all commonly reported reasons for detransitioning in the literature. But for some reason, these people don't tend to identify as "detrans" or get picked up by media outlets to give their perspectives.
The detrans community and detrans movement is not a representative sample of folks who detransitioned. It is a self-selected group of anti-trans activists who represent nothing more than the fact that exploring your gender identity does not immunize you from transphobic propaganda. I do not lack sympathy for those who have regrets over their transition or a complicated relationship with gender and transness. But sympathy does not mean we should tolerate the spread of transphobic ideas and transphobic narratives.

Disgusting holy shit
and while we’re talking abt noah schnapp as a fandom, we should also be calling out brett gelman who is a HUGE zionist and is posting increasingly troubling calls for violence, is vehemently opposed to a ceasefire, and posts pictures of normal (aka non-famous/public figures) pro-palestinian protestors to his insta story, basically saying “find them” to his almost 1 millions followers
#Ops tags the only thing I've seen about celebrities besides the Noah schnapp thing is gal Gadot obviously being a zionist (always has been)#But I'm not shocked that many celebrities are on the casual zionist bandwagon (Noah schnapp and Brett gelman go beyond that)#Bc i see celebrity public opinions as often heavily impacted by what they're meant to think in order to cause the least damage#Often not always. Painting broad strokes#But I think being a celebrity makes you more susceptible to powerful propaganda tbh#Also there is a bit of McCarthyism going on#People in journalism and education are getting silenced and fired for supporting Palestine. My school had a protest for this recently.#It's reflective of the McCarthy era which heavily affected actors.#Not saying that actors and such will be blacklisted for supporting Palestine but I imagine it's heavily discouraged#Idk though#What I do know is that I haven't taken people who accuse anti-zionists of lacking education seriously for one second#I took political science courses in the beginning of my college career and one class was mainly about Zionism (and antisemitism)#globalism & propaganda in countries like Denmark whose right wing groups will pose their Progressive Ways as a mask for xenophobia#(Denmark would get Muslim refugees/immigrants and right winged groups would say the immigrants are against everything they stand for)#(such as being pro-Lgbt rights)#Anyways it's similar to what people are doing with Israel#In addition to the spread of literal misinformation and silencing the truth. There's this angle of like we should support Israel#Bc it's more western and Palestine doesn't support gay people#Which is a really sick angle. My best friend's mom used it against her.#Anyways the other reason I don't take that talking point abt education seriously:#The most well-read (in related subjects) people I know are pro Palestine lol. My grandpa was a history teacher#And has always disagreed w US involvement in the middle east (including the making of Israel in this)#Was called a traitor for protesting war in Iraq. Now look at public opinion.#my professor? Pro Palestine (he doesn't talk about it but offhandedly mentioned he had to go join the protest downstairs)#(I knew he would be based on what he teaches us)#But even without all that you have to see that what's happening to Palestine is genocide#Israel isn't. They're continuing to send young people on birthright RIGHT NOW#My friend's friend got an email confirming it's still happening either yesterday or two days ago.#Actually I'm highly suspicious of the fact that they're doing it still#Like is this ... A strategy....

wait I know why we hate AIPAC but what did ADL do? I thought the anti defamation League was good
The ADL is an Israeli/Zionist advocacy group at its core. It's main priority as an organization is to protect Israel and its mission for a Jewish Ethno-State. This is especially true under Johnathan Greenblatt's leadership who has said "antizionism is antisemitism" It's easy to think that the "Anti Defamation League" has no underlying agenda given its history as a "civil rights organization" but it has constantly used that as a screen for extremely right wing positions on Israel. Some of their greatest hits include: Equating Students for Justice in Palestine, JVP, and CAIR to "white supremacists" simply because they strongly oppose an ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. A leaked ADL memo revealing how ADL plans to "soften" the news to Americans that Israel plans to annex the West Bank. (Source). In this leak Greenblatt recognizes that the annexation is a violation of basic human rights. To me this is a clear indication that they are less concerned with civil rights and more concerned with shaping the public image of Israel, especially in the US. Really urge you all to read this leak! Supported South African Apartheid (surprise surprise) and participated in propaganda against Nelson Mandela and the ANC. They even employed a spy named Roy Bullock to infiltrate the anti-apartheid campaign in the US. They later settled a law suit for this. (Source) That's not even close to the only time they've utilized spies. THIS recent leak of Greenblatt talks about ADL having spies in Jewish Voice for Peace and other organizations. It also talks about how they are having a hard time with the global youth no longer buying into their propaganda. Another source you should give your full attention to. PLEASE listen to that whole thing. It's truly terrifying. You're gonna hear them talk a lot about why Tiktok is a danger to their mission.
HERE is an article about how the ADL has a long history of smearing black activists, working with Police/ICE, and its attempts to demonize the BDS movement. I could go on and on about how terrible and deceitful the ADL is. The sources above are a good start to understanding why we shouldn't trust the ADL but please look into all the other things they've done like working with the FBI to spy on Arab Americans, infiltrating student organizations they find to be a threat to "Israel's image", surveillance, the people who fund/donate to them etc.
The best way to fight orgs like this is to share/spread this info as much as you can. It's clearly working because they're losing global support especially with the youth.

since zionists want to act obtuse about why we're criticizing a superbowl ad, here's an explanation from before the ad even aired. it was openly designed to act as pro-genocide propaganda. fighting antisemitism is a worthy goal but that's not what's happening here:
"The New England Patriots’ 81-year-old owner, Robert Kraft, writes seven-digit checks to the right-wing Israeli lobbying machine AIPAC, but his personal, political, and financial ties to Israel run deeper than the occasional donation. The multibillionaire married his late wife, Myra, in Israel in 1963 when Kraft, then 22, was older than the nation itself. Together they set up numerous business, athletic, and charitable ties to Israel, a record of which is proudly proclaimed on the Kraft company website. In particular, the Kraft Group boasts of its 'Touchdown in Israel' program, where NFL players are given free, highly organized vacations to see 'the holy land' and come back to spread the word about 'the only democracy in the Middle East.' (Not every NFL player has chosen to take part.) Kraft also attends fundraisers for the Israel Defense Forces, currently—and in open view of the world—committing war crimes in Gaza."
Now, as Israel wages war against the civilians of Gaza—more than 25,000 Palestinian have been killed with at least 10,000 of them children—Kraft is again flexing his financial and political muscles in order to defend the indefensible. His Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) will be spending an estimated $7 million to buy a Super Bowl ad titled 'Stop Jewish Hate' that will be seen by well over 100 million people. Under Kraft’s direction, the ad’s goal is to create a propaganda campaign to counter the reports and images from Gaza that young people are consuming on social media.
... The content of the Super Bowl ad is not yet known, but FCAS has afforded Kraft the opportunity to make the rounds on cable news saying things like, 'It’s horrible to me that a group like Hamas can be respected and people in the United States of America can be carrying flags or supporting them.'
This is Kraft enacting the mission of FCAS: fostering disinformation. He is far from subtle: A Palestinian flag becomes a 'Hamas flag,' and people like the hundreds of thousands who took to the streets of Washington, D.C., last month to call for a cease-fire and end the violence are expressions of the 'rise in antisemitism.' Without a sense of irony or the horrors happening on the ground in Gaza, Kraft says he is giving $100 million of his own money to FCAS, because 'hate leads to violence.'
Let’s be clear: What Kraft is doing politically and what he will be using the Super Bowl as a platform to do is dangerous. He appears to think any criticism of Israel is inherently antisemitic. For Kraft, it is Jews like myself, rabbis, and Holocaust survivors calling for a cease-fire and a Free Palestine that are part of the problem. Kraft seems to think that opposition to Israel, the IDF, and the AIPAC agenda is antisemitism.
... Right-wing Christian nationalists, with their belief in a Jewish state existing alongside their conviction that Jews are going to Hell, are welcome in Netanyahu’s Israel and Kraft’s coalition. Left-wing anti-Zionist Jews are not. The greatest foghorn of this evangelical right-wing 'love Israel, hate Jews' perspective is, of course, Donald Trump. Kraft, while speaking of being troubled by events like the Charlottesville Nazi march and the right-wing massacre at the Tree of Life synagogue, counts Donald Trump as a close friend and even donated $1 million to his presidential inauguration.
No one who provides cover for the most powerful, public antisemite in the history of US politics should ever be taken seriously on how to best fight antisemitism. No one who funds AIPAC and the IDF and opposes a cease-fire amid the carnage should be allowed a commercial platform at the Super Bowl. But given that the big game is always an orgy of militarism, blind patriotism, and big budget commercials that lie through their teeth, perhaps that ad could not be more appropriate. We can do better than Kraft’s perspective on how to fight antisemitism. Morally, we don’t have a choice."

No, left-of-center US tumblr user who refuses to vote blue in the presidential election and spreads posts about how "voting doesn't work" or how you'll only vote third party... I don't think you're a Russian bot. I think you're a useful idiot.
For those unfamiliar with the term, a useful idiot is a person who can be manipulated or exploited to advance someone else's cause or political agenda. And if you're part of the left and you're refusing to vote blue in the presidential election, then you're being manipulated to serve Trump's, Putin's and Netanyahu's agendas.
Let me explain. First, I hate to break it to you, but the US has a two party system, and as much as I despise it, I know it's not going away before the 2024 election. Either the Democrats win or the Republicans win. That's just how it works. Vote for whoever you want in the primaries, but when it's time to vote in the presidential election, vote blue—if you don't, it's a win for the Republicans, who want to turn the country into a christofascist dictatorship full of concentration camps.
Secondly, you need to understand that anyone telling you not to vote blue is trying to suppress your vote. Trump supporters obviously want Trump to win, but their strategy isn't to convince the left to vote for him. They know that won't work. What they are trying to do is to discourage you from voting for Democrats. They can do this by making you feel too hopeless to vote. They can also do this by making you decide that Biden has done too many unforgivable things for you to vote for him. And Biden has done many unforgivable things, like help arm Israel—but you need to realize that Trump winning a second term would be a hundred times worse for Palestine.
Third, you should think about the fact that there are right-wing foreign leaders—notably Putin and Netanyahu—who want Trump to win. This is where the bots and the propaganda come in. You may not be a bot, but there are bots churning out propaganda to try to influence you, whether they're controlled by Trump donors or by foreign actors.
Don't be a useful idiot.
