he's by your side within seconds, knelt beside the couch and fixing your shirt to cover your breasts. his other hand cups your face, giving you something to hold on to.

"shh, dove, it's going to be alright. i'm sorry, i didn't mean to hurt you." he takes your hand in his and presses a kiss to your knuckles. you shake your head lightly.

"not your fault. i just don't feel right today." you mumble, turning on your side to face him properly. he sighs, his eyes not as red anymore, and kisses your forehead.

"you should have told me earlier, sweet thing." his worry for you becomes visible as he removes his sunglasses and sets them aside. your tears are less severe now that he's comforting you, your body not shaking as much. you ache from his rough treatment, however.

"i know. i'm sorry." he strokes your hair, a small "tsk" leaving him.

"it's just fine. come, let's get you cleaned up." he picks you up bridal-style with ease, your head resting against his shoulder as he carries you to the bathroom. standing would be a lot for you right now and he knows that, so he sets you down on the bathroom counter with a kiss to your temple and runs you a bath.

you're as still as a doll as he undresses you, kissing every inch of you to further reassure you of his love. he's sweeter than usual for the rest of the night- practically coddling you- because he knows you need it like he needs you.

HELLO AND WELCOME to this episode of JAKES SOAPBOX !!! where i yap on and on abt things i care abt, but likely no one else does. todays episode i will be ranting and raving abt the highly anticipated (at least for me) OMORI official manga first chapter release !! below is my highly opinionated review <3 there are spoilers for the manga, and i do discuss the prologue and day one of the OMORI game so read this with caution. i added screenshots from the manga itself as well.

this is simply a critique from the point of view of a superfan who was hoping the manga would be suitable for both old fans, new fans, and people reading the manga with no prior knowledge of the game at all. this is simply my opinion. while i compare this manga to the game repeatedly, i want to make it clear upfront that i wasn't expecting this to be a cookie-cutter remake in manga form of the game. i believe that it's lacking some important story beats and pacing that makes the story as impactful as it is. enjoy

first of all, i was ECSTATIC when i saw the promo for this. i am OMORI's biggest fan forever and ever, so god knows i was sitting and (im)patiently waiting for this to come out. however, upon reading the first chapter, i can't say i'm a huge fan. i will say that i am the type of person to view content regarding my favorite things with the most insanely rose tinted glasses, however that wasn't going to save my first impressions of the manga from scrutiny. tl'dr, i was really disappointed.

now my first complaint: pacing. to start with the beginning, i do really like how it starts off with the same dialogue as the game does. the art is simple, yet extremely effective when it comes to portraying the overall "vibe" of OMORI, which is something that carries on throughout the first chapter and i'll talk about it more later. however, i'm really not a fan of how the story begins. the first three pages are showing this dream sunny is having, a contorted memory of a christmas spent with his friends, ending with a horrifying and distorted image of mari begging sunny to "tell her why".

now, my issue with this, is that the story is now lacking a very important aspect that made the original so much more impactful: a foundation. in the game prologue, we are introduced primarily to the whole group, all of the fun-loving and sweet characters all living happily in headspace- INCLUDING mari. it was meant to establish two very important things about sunny: A) headspace is a safe, fun place where all of his friends are, but something isnt right and B) the real world is NOT where he wants to be, it's scary and reminds him of something he doesn't want to remember. yet the way the manga is paced, it skips all of that. we are immediately thrust into the real world as sunny wakes up to get himself the steak from the fridge, where again, we are robbed of another crucial detail: sunny does NOT want to go down the stairs in the dark. in game, when sunny tries to leave his room, he doesn't allow himself down more than one step of the stairs. before i get ahead of myself, the artist did include this panel (right to left)

which i think wonderfully portrays sunny's fear of going down the stairs. the wobbly lines and darkness coming out of the piano room is great. however, this comes after sunny has already come down the stairs and eaten the steak, and seems to be more centered around him being afraid of who was at the door. which, in my opinion, also holds even less weight as the original mari door jumpscare wasn't included either (which is a whole other can of worms), which was an actual deterrent from the player opening the door for kel in game.

(this leads me to another, much more nit-picky complaint: but that is the specific pacing of this page specifically:

which occurs after sunny goes back upstairs to throw up the steak he ate in the bathroom. the panels, while aesthetically pleasing and visually descriptive towards sunny's paranoid thoughts, aren't really showing me what's going on. he slams the bathroom door shut, seemingly does nothing, and is suddenly back in the kitchen cleaning his knife. but for some reason, the kitchen is upstairs, rather than downstairs, which is where we get the panels of him being afraid of descending the stairs. i feel that this was an unnecessary change, and could have been avoided by sticking to the original planning of this segment. but again, this is just a small nitpick that doesn't really mean anything.)

speaking of kel at the door, this is another reason why the lack of a headspace prologue in the very beginning is frustrating. as of now, the reader has no idea who kel is, or what he really means to sunny. sure, we saw him briefly in the dream sunny has, but he says one thing, and that dream lasted 3 pages. two, of which, didn't show anyone besides mari or sunny at all. in the prologue, kel is shown to be very protective and caring towards sunny, notably staying by his side and making sure sunny isn't alone for too long when being "it" during the hide and seek minigame, and overall establishing that he (and the rest of the friendgroup, might i add) was an important person in sunny's life. knowing this, then hearing mom's voicemail about how kel has been trying to reach sunny all this time, and THEN hearing him call out to sunny at the door, makes seeing kel in the real world for the first time a meaningful experience. we understand why kel is so excited to see sunny come outside. but in the manga, to me, it feels so rushed. when playing through the story, you're in headspace for a good 3-5 hours before you even enter the real world, or have the chance to open the door for kel. in the manga, it feels lackluster.

this leads to the faraway town scenes. kel and omori make their way to faraway town, which is full of the typical headspace cameos that the reader won't understand due to the lack of the headspace storyline. when in hobeez, kel mentions how the store is the same, featuring "captain spaceboy games" and "sweetheart movies", which would mean a lot more to the reader if they saw the group dig through spaceboy's junkyard and battle him at the end, or sneak through sweetheart's castle and confront her on stage. these are small nitpicks, but the biggest issue for me is that during this segment, kei and sunny are going to hobeez to buy hero a gift. but yet, the reader doesn't know who hero is. there isn't that moment of realization that hero, alongside kel, is a real person in sunny's life, not just a figment of sunny's imagination, and he's old enough to be in college. there's no emotion there. they pick out the same cookbook, but the reader has no idea why this holds significance. in the game, we all know hero as the chef, the cook that heals the team with his snacks and his frying pan fighting skills- but the reader doesn't know why hero, mentioned as a pre-med student, would even want a cookbook. these details lose all meaning without being backed up by important scenes in the original prologue.

this leads to my personal least favorite moment of the whole chapter: the confrontation between basil and aubrey. i was so incredibly disappointed by the absolute assassination of her character, which is simply because there's more missing context left behind in the game prologue. aubrey is introduced as a sweet, silly girl in the game, who cares deeply for omori and her friends, which is supposed to shock the player when meeting her in the real world for the first time. aubrey's change is supposed to make the player really question what happened to these friends, what made these kids who clearly cared so deeply for one another behave this way, and wonder why sunny (and mari's death, along with why no one wants to talk about it) seems to be at the center of it all. there is none of this extremely necessary context here. what makes things worse is that the reader also has zero idea who aubrey or basil are. while yes, they too were mentioned in the 3-page dream at the beginning of the chapter, it was for one single page with one piece of dialogue each. these characters hold no meaning here. aubrey then hits basil with her nail-covered bat, which is NOT something that happens in game. its actually kim who pushes him away, NOT aubrey, which is an important detail as aubrey never meant to lay a hand on any of them originally. the manga just paints her out to be violent, angry, and in a rush to hurt people she used to care about. while her character is extremely detailed and nuanced, i won't get too into it here as the player wouldn't know at this point, and neither would the reader.

the altercation in the manga between sunny and aubrey continues as she mocks him for locking himself away after they supposedly "couldn't save mari". this sends sunny into a spiral, aubrey swings her bat at kel, and poises to hurt sunny as well when he swings his knife at her, slicing her shoulder. the choices the artist make here are astounding, in the most negative way possible. while yes, there is a fight scene with kel and sunny vs aubrey in game, it portrayed a lot differently. its made very clear in game that sunny is very seriously impacted by his inner world to the point where he sees apparitions of space bunnies or other creatures while walking down the streets, or even the "fight" between himself and the poster inside of hobeez. this is important to note, because the player can also see the RPG fighting menu, which is extremely important to display just how out of touch with reality sunny is. he can't grasp that there's a difference between reality and his dream world. inside headspace, fighting is extremely normal. combat is a huge part of the game and the story, where the player fights bosses, smaller enemies, and gathers weapons and even toys to use in battle. that normalization where the player is USED to battle in the dreamworld, where there are no real consequences, if a character dies they can be healed or revived, comes to a screeching halt when we realize that we, as sunny, just actually slashed aubrey. the battle comes to a screeching halt, aubrey collapses after just one hit, which again, the player AND sunny isn't used to after fighting so many hard battles, and displays real pain. this is a far contrast to the manga, where we just see sunny lash out at aubrey. while it can be argued that yes, the manga is a completely different medium of storytelling than the game where we have that fighting and battle UI aspect, there are a myriad of ways the creator could have given the same effect- which could have easily been achieved by including the headspace prologue instead of jumping immediately into the real world this way.

the creator then chooses this moment to send sunny back into white space, which completely removes the interaction sunny has with basil and kel after the scuffle with aubrey. there's no walking with basil home, theres no learning about the photo album- in fact, there's no mention of basil's album at ALL, which is incredibly strange not only due to its immense importance to showing the bond between the friends, but the fact that it's a huge plot point and storytelling device.

in conclusion, i sincerely believe that this manga is a poor presentation of OMORI's story, and an incredible disappointment. leaving out the hours and hours of content before the real world is even introduced robs the manga of any substance, as the whole point of the prologue being so incredibly long was to establish a baseline for the player to become comfortable with, to allow us to get to know the characters and see how they interact, and then have that all be contorted and changed when brought into the real world. there is no established connection to the characters, the plot is ridiculously rushed, and the story feels empty and disconnected. it truly feels like the author barely knew what the game was about. i also don't feel that the artstyle in general works either, as the characters look extremely young, while the real world characters are 15-16 and the way they are drawn makes them look 12. but, i will rest my case there. i completely disagree with the flip-flopping of the story, and my expectations for the rest of this manga have plummeted to insane depths.

CONCEPT: Genshin Omori AU about Scara in Irminsul

So essentially i just need to write this down and get some of it out of me so I can go to bed

SO BASICALLY: when scara goes into irminsul he goes into a sort of headspace esc thing (welcome to blue space youve been here as long as you can remember yadayadayada) The friends are Niwa, Small child, and Childe or Kazuha (honestly this just depends on who you ship/favor although i personally would want to make it Childe since it could be a like a friend symbolizing each segment of his life and i feel like childe would fit better for fatui time, although kazuha also works for that and you could get the familial aspect with him and niwa and im rambling but you get the point). Mari role is filled by Nahida since she seems like a good person to be the supportive comfort but also horror revealer. Then i think the best person to be Basil/stranger would be the traveler since they are the ones that bring Scara back in the first place. Headspace is essentially the genshin world but non of your friends are dead + no trauma + hmm some people seem to be mysteriously absent or unmentioned i wonder who (cough cough ei and dottore cough cough)

Real world and routes can function as un awakened wanderer going about his buissness in sumeru and choosing weather or not to interact with the traveler, so you either get the chores aspect or the exploration like real game

Real world story wise it would just follow the sumeru plot but at the end you get choices, remember - stay forgetting - just soort of lose yourself in irminsul(headspace ending)  - or die

Black space could essentially function as Scara getting some of his more unpleasent memories twisted around in his head, and ofc red space is just that x10, probably climax being a sort of hinting towards what he did to himself to make him forget.

Headspace quest could prob just be the same as in game, traveller sees the truth, goes missing, oh boy we gotta go find him WAIT OMG BASILS PICTURE BOOK COULD BE LIKE NAHIDAS STORY BOOK OMG ITS ALL COMING TOGETHER

BOSSMAN HERO exited HUMPHREY, as he sank once more. Tightening up his tie, he had a deep sigh. Walking back out of DEEPER WELL, he waited by a PLUTO station. And eventually, PLUTO arrived. "Greetings, and welcome to PLUTO'S SPACELINE. Where will your journey take you today?"

"VAST FOREST. I have some business there." HERO responded. "You got it. Now... Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride." HERO climbed up onto his shoulder, as PLUTO took off.

On landing, HERO climbed down, and pulled out some CLAMs, before PLUTO raised his hand to stop him. "No need, BOSSMAN. Your work alone is payment. No journey deserves to be stopped for payment." HERO put his CLAMs back into his coat, before nodding. "Thank you for your work, then, PLUTO."

Turning to his left, as PLUTO took off again, he came eye to eye to STRANGER. Silently, STRANGER turned away, as BOSSMAN felt uneasy. Suddenly, he felt like getting the KEYs was a very, very bad idea, but he peristed.

Following after, passing by the watered plants, despite BASIL's absence, he came across BASIL's OLD SHOE. The lake of red, the hands of BLACKSPACE emitting from it. Even moreso, BOSSMAN felt more fear, if not, regret. But he walked inside.

The gigantic hole, down below...

He looked down. It looked endless.

"That place is not meant for you, HERO." HERO turned around, STRANGER standing at the exit. He passed through HERO, as HERO shuddered, panic beginning to grow. "If you do not control your FEAR... you will fall further into nothing, in this world below."

As HERO steadied, he looked back at STRANGER, who disappears into the hole.

With a deep breath...

The landing was rough. There was no MARI. There was no DOOR. Against the cold, dark, floor, all there was, was a white BASKET, sketchbook, and a key.

HERO picked up the key, and immediately felt a sharp pain in his head, as he fell to his knees. His mouth was open, his mind, swelling of anguish, he could not hear his own screams of agony.

Before he stopped, quivering, and stood back up. He has a mission to do. Find OMORI. Limping, pained, walking towards the first door, and sticking they key inside, he twisted to unlock, and opened. Walking through, he immediately felt easier.

Although the PAIN AREA was not any better, for his mind, treading through the AREA was an easier feat than dropping in. There were red footsteps, and, as HERO looked up, and locked eyes with STRANGER.

"These rooms... are full of broken things... but at least in here, I can see who you really are."

"You aren't the DREAMER, but... you are here, and you are walking, breathing."

"However you do it, MANIFESTED DREAM, you are more welcome than the DREAMER."

STRANGER turned away, and treaded into nothing. HERO followed the footsteps, and took the key at the end. It all hurt, but, he was beginning to understand, and get used to the suffering.

After all, BLACKSPACE wasn't HEADSPACE. How he was moving, and thinking, it was by will.

And then, a RED HAND grabbed his ankle, as he jumped.

...

He stood in the center again, a deep breath, as he prepared for another spike of pain. Yet, it did not come. There wasn't pain. It was still unusual, uneasy, but, his sharp agony was fading. He looked up. There was no HEADSPACE.

How was he going to get out?

...The more he thought, the more concerned he got, before chuckling. Walking to the next door, he put the key in, and walked through the open door.

...

The colorful aspects, similar to HEADSPACE, though, horribly distorted, hurt HERO's eyes, as he squinted.

STRANGER stood across from him.

"Lost in this confusion lies the root of everything."

"The DREAMER locked everything away... but in his heart, he seeks to find it again."

"If you were to find it for him... would it be the same?"

Again, turning away, and disappearing.

Following the red footprints, he stops beside a very blue cat.

"HI IM LOQUACIOUS CAT ASK ME ANYTHING"

He paused.

HERO thought. What would he want to ask this creature, left in BLACKSPACE? Does it have a thought?

"...Why did it hurt to come down here?"

"TWO YARDS OF LEATHER"

That wasn't even understandable, forget about helpful, or insightful. HERO turned back to the trail, and picked up the key. He looked into it, and suddenly, a RED HAND extended from it, grabbing his coat, as he yelped.

Saving no time for potential for pain, he went to the next door. Key in, and through he was.

There was no STRANGER here. Just red footprints, and a key. Saving no interruption, he treaded down and through it, picking up the key. With a deep breath, another RED HAND emerged from his mouth, pulling him back to the center.

The scribbles of a town, of a world. HERO looked up and around, seeing gray clouds, before noticing the STRANGER across from him.

"When you hid the truth, you sealed a part of me with it."

STRANGER turned away, and disappeared.

Heya! So after reading your headcannons for prison Dream I went and read that “Security Watch” fic, and I was struck with genius.

Little space Dream.

When he breaks out he’s so touch starved and socially awkward that he regresses often. He regresses to about 5-7 years old and he’s just a big brat, but he’s also incredibly soft.

Lee moods are often accompanied with little space after the break out, and Techno becomes his occasional caregiver. He can’t leave lil’ Dream alone because either A) he’ll fuck with shit to be a pest or B) he’ll have a panic attack.

I can come up with so many possible scenarios with little space Dream, this has like opened a new world for me. Thoughts?

(Before/In Prison)

-I 1000% agree that he would regress from the ages of 5-7 years old!

-He is either a huge butthead /lh or the softest boy that you will ever see

-His favorite color other than green is blue because it reminds him of George

-Being away from people for so long when in the prison dream had become extremely touch starved and with all the thinking he has to do to pass the time the regression started

-He didn't even know what has happening at first until he physically felt his brain go into a smaller, childlike state

-He wasn't unfamiliar with the concept of little space considering he knew a couple of littles himself that roamed the smp

-However he didn't ever think he was one until that very moment

-He wasn't complaining though, this felt right, he felt comfortable for once but he was also scared in that moment "what if sam came in" thoughts like that filled his head and caused him to lay down, curl up and wipe a tear from his cheek

-To his unfortune, Sam did come in to bring him food, seeing his state he questioned the green man, Once Sam heard his voice, all rational thought went straight out the door

-Sam didn't care how bad dream was the minute he realized he was in little space Sam's caregiver instincts took over and he made sure dream was okay before he left

-"How old are you kiddo?" Sam softly asked as dream held up 5 fingers

-Sam calmed Dream down and gave him his food before leaving, he stated that he will be watching from the monitor if he needed anything else and that he won't be going far in case Dream started to cry again

-Dream was fine though, he just stuck his tongue out at Sam, called him a meanie and ate some mash potatoes while giggling

-While in the prison Dream had tended to regress more when he was under a lot of stress or sad

-However there were more than one occasion where he would slip into that headspace while in the middle of a big lee mood

-The giggly aspect of a lee mood makes an easy entrance for little space, the two together and you get Little Lee Dream!

-When Dream was in a lee mood and he was in little space there was no way he wouldn't be a menace

-Normally Dream is pretty figity and hyper, mainly because of his adhd, but also because that's just him/his personality, which we stan besides the point, if Dream was hit with the two L's at once, Little and Lee! There was no stopping him

-He will do whatever is necessary to get tickles!

-In the prison it was breaking stuff, dream broke a lot of things, as well as being an overall butthead to Sam, he would do it all just to get wrecked!

-Sam caught on pretty quickly to what was happening but he was all good with playing along and humoring the kid

-Dream fell asleep every single time after he got wrecked, The poor thing needed the rest if im honest

•After the prison things were so different!

-The first time Dream felt himself slip after the prison he was again in fear, he tried to fight it back but he couldn't anymore

-He just cried until Techno came back and gathered together what was happening pretty quickly, after seeing him and hearing his voice it was clear he was in little space

-Techo was very well versed in Littles, he took care of a few before so he was on top of things pretty quickly when it came to Dream

-He asked him his age, calmed him down, rocked him back and forth for a while, made him feel safe and made sure he grabbed the essentials on his way back, he made Dream come with him because he didn't want to leave the little one alone

-Techo took on the role of being Dreams Caregiver extremely quickly

-Dream added this onto the things that he owes techno for big time but of course none of them minded one bit

-Dream was calm with Techno and when he would slip into a lee mood as well he didn't break stuff or go to the extremes like he did with Sam, The most he would do was just poke him until Techno gave in

-Or make Techno chase him it's extremely adorable!

-Dream giggles a lot when he is in little space, but especially if he is in a lee mood so it's easy to pick up on what is happening

-The only other person who has seen Dream go into little space after the prison is Sapnap

-Sapnap takes great care of him as well, though he definitely prefers Techo to do it! He said and I quote "Sappy doesn't know how to cook, I fear for his kids one day" which earned him a proper wrecking by the firey one who "can't cook"

-Dream is more playful with Sapnap, it is great

-By the time everyone got comfortable around Dream again he started letting more and more people see his little side

-Things got better for everyone

-And Even though there was no way Dream was going to go back to the prison there was no stopping little Dream from going to pay Sam a visit and possibly break a few things

-I love little Dream! Ahh!

*deep sigh*, to preface this long post, the wonderland system is/was a a system on tiktok who doesnt fit many peoples preconceived notions on what a DID system looks like. they have a lot of alters, nonhuman alters, a big headspace ect. so a bunch of very uneducated singlets, ableist people, and the rest dogpiled them. i mean literally making wikis and collaborative google documents about them. its incredibly weird and gross and there are a lot of deeply misinformed tiktoks on that tag im gonna give my thoughts on here.

okay so. this is me just going thru vids and talking abt them if i see one i think i could comment on but its mostly singlets asking basic questions or making fun of things we've known abt the disorder since the 90s and just..i dont recommend looking into it on your own. singlets please do basic research challenge i am so so tired.

shoutout to those ppl in this tag calling out the misinfo and blatent ableism yall are wonderful .

||How I See The Pastas||

This was originally supposed to be how they looked but I decided to go for mental aspect and explain why as well PLEASE like, reblog and share your thoughts on this in the comments or inbox

Jeff the Killer

So lets start with the obvious- jeffs pasty white toothpaste lookin skin

But realistically he wouldn’t be completely covered in scars

It would be blotchy, with pink fleshy patches among the burns

He most likely has contracture scars, third degree burns that turn the skin a pale white and tighten the skin

This explains his gaunt features and skin color

Now we have to take into account the vodka that was splashed on him, he’d probably have worse burns there with exposed flesh and damaged nerves

This would result in gnarly exposed skin, a damaged scalp and maybe damage to his teeth and eyes

Realistically, Jeff wouldnt have burned off his eyelids that alone would have resulted in blindness and death

Than his smile, his signatuure mark would probably be more of a gangly bloody scar mess

Pastas heal faster and aren’t really human, he’d have to recut his smile pretty frequently making it pretty jacket up because ltes be honest hes far from clean

ANd than his hait being chard black is very unlikely because as nasty as he is he s h o w e r s

not very frequnetly given his living situation and untreated burns but people can figure out how to wash hait and not much else

also i think its funny he’d shower with a plastic bag on his face to avoid getting soap in his nasty infected scars-

His hair would probably be dry and cut unevenly, more of a dark brown color with blonde undertones

Not to mention his burned scalp, hair probably wouldn’t grow there so he’d have a cool unintentional side shave

Jeff would also be a tall individual, he cant really eat, snacking on things from his victims homes giving him a more skeletal build

His personality and mindest is about as pretty as his face- but he most likely has a very screwed up headspace

Lacking in self care, maturity and sanity its fair to say he’d be a brash and violent person

Fun Fact: While researching this I learned that some versions of the joker had facial scars in the shape of a smile

Ticci Toby

So tobys age, unlike a lot of pastas, is pretty well agreed on, 19

So unlike when he was first a proxy toby most likely has stronger facial features and facial hair

Because shaving and hygiene isn’t first priority for pastas (gross-)

He stands around 5′7 and has grayish skin

Toby i feel is picky about foods, not only is it hard for him to eat its hard for him to keep food down

He’s malnourished explaining his thin figure and grayish skin

His hait is dark brown and a curlish mess, unkempt but short so it doesn’t get in his way

I’ve always seen him with a small gap in his teeth, because I can

And since toby can’t feel shit I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to eat rocks simply because he fuckin could

So some chipped teeth that are a bit uneven

Along with his CIPA and not eating enough Toby would bruise easily and have lots of scars, from things like cutting his finger on accident or getting mauled by a racoon

I wouldn’t be surpised if some of his joints were a bit screwed up, because whenever theyd beak or fracture he wouldn’t notice, this would probably happen a lot causing them to not heal correctly

One of tobys habits is nailbiting but he cant te;; when too far is too far

His fingers may be abit odd looking, knobby and discolored nails because of how exetreme his habit is

Would most likely have bandages around his fingers frequently to prevent the habit

So theres a lot of debate about tobys cheek was it the CIPA or the car accident, I beileve the accident because his other cheek is completely fine, theres damage from the OUTSIDE to inside and considering his sister died in the accident its unlikely he survived unscathed

Fun Fact: only a small handful of people have ever been diagnosed with CIPA, less than 500 (documented) cases around the world

Bloody Painter

So Helen is often seen as quiet emo painter boy 

but uh no <3

Personaly i beileve he suffers from narcisistic personality disorder, exetreme importance and that he is always victorious and gets what he wants

This sporuts from the constant heavy invalidation from classmates, toxic friends and neglect from his parents

He doesn’t hang out with people because he doesn’’t lie them its because they never let him in the past and he beileves he’s better than them

But this also links to deep rooted insecurity and social anxiety/being inept completely

Him being nice is basically so you like him, he wants validation amd admiration not love

Unlike the other pastas he’d be a more clean well kept one a helthy figure and some tattoos bevause he can

I beileve he lives in socity, finding hus victims in girls and men alike who fall for his charm

he uses hhis skill and ordinary appearance to blend in on the streets

From his behavior helen most likely keeps his hair a bit shorter and clean

He always looks his best

Has chapped, and picked at lips because of his anxieties

Aswell as his breakdowns- his identity is completely in his head, he is very unsure of who he is and takes the delusions in his mind as reality

Unrelated but paino fingers-

And finally in order for his art to be as perfect and amazing as him, he has to be apart of it

Thus using his own blood in his pieces and the body parts of those he admires

Covers his scars with clean bandgaes

But his paintings turn brown and dry out, he’s always in need of a new medium

Is most likely anemic from all the blood he looses and has a paler skintone

Clockwork

ahh yes finally someone who knows what self care is-

helen, i love you buddy but you need to stop 

But anyway natalie has a stronger, athletic build

She often chases her victims and gets in altercations, relying on strength most  of the time

on that same note, this would defintelty cause many scars on natalie

Wether it was a bite mark or scars from a kitchen knife, shes got lots of scars

A few even on her face

Now, for the clock in her eye that thing is like holding her skull together at this point, realistically

She is probably delicate and cares for it becaise 1) it hurts 2) if it gets screwed up that could cause a lot of problems

natalie would be a smart person, I wouldn’t be surprused if she had a few other stray stitches or bandgaes wrapped around a fresh wound

I can also see her getting tattoos over certain scars on her arm, just to make them look not so ugly

I feel like clockwork wishes things worked out better

Wishes for another chance but knows she’ll never get one

Thus her taking goof care of herself

Natalie throws herseld into her “work”, keeping her body in shape and killing people

Its a way to avoid her life and that it is- a huge, sad mess

Shes an outgoing impulsive individual, confident but questions her actions

She’s also unstable- protective and loyal but explosive and strong 

Jane the Killer

Jane is the final one, im sorry I couldn’t do more theres a photo limit and I wanna bash my head into the wall

Now a main different between her and jeff is she had surgery and lie treatment

Janes skin is still greatly scarred but it is greatly healed

She takes care of it and had skin grafts

Her face is disfigured, a scarred smile and burns around

But unlike Jeff she doesn’t recarve the cut so its a cleaner line and a lot healthier

Janes hair took a rather long time to grow back, but it did! 

She has a slightly long pixie cut a bit choppy but she doesn’t mind

Her wife definetely cuts it for her and you can fight me over that

I can see Jane having a lot of facial trauma, scars around her nose and cheeks

She was young when she started killing and went for the over the person, pin them down kill which didn’t work out

She switched to a silenced pistol after awhile, you know like a smart person

Janes arms and legs are in alright condition where most of the burn trauma is on her back

She has a leaner but healthy figure but like boobs-

Like clockwork and Helen she takes care of herself

She doesn’t kill as frequently, going after a few of jeffs victims before him and is of course, actively hunting him down

Her eyes are a pale green and she wears makeip to fill in her eyebrows because those bitches take a long time to grow back

fun fact: jeff has no eyebrows, fight me

i never saw anyone asked this so im gonna do it. Do you think there's a part of dina that regretted being pregnant?

Okay so, this took me a bit cause I’m not Dina. I’m not like Dina. And her headspace is not one I put myself in as frequently as I do Ellie’s. Pregnancy is foreign to me. That being said, I’m unsure if she regretted it. For different reasons though. Those are that, it’s hard to know what her true wants might have been if she was in a situation without having to deal with everything that happened. And where she was on the matter before she even left Jackson. More under the cut in case some folks don’t wanna see pregnancy being discussed on their feed.

It’s clear by the farm that Dina loves JJ. Wanted him. Overcame fuckin’ insane odds to bring him into this world. He is the light of her life. In Seattle though? I don’t know if she regretted getting pregnant per se. Under different “we stayed in Jackson” circumstances she’d have all sorts of options and help to handle whatever choice she wanted to make.  Jackson would have the resources and support she needs.

I think there is a part of Dina that regretted not saying something to Ellie sooner. The reveal upset Ellie, for two reasons. One: It put Dina in far more danger than either of them expected creating a burden that directly impacts her quest for vengeance and Two: she wants Abby dead, but she loves Dina enough by the end of Day Three she’s willing to “go home” to keep her and the life inside her safe. I still wasn’t entirely convinced Ellie wouldn’t have either tried to sneak back to hunt Abby down after making sure Dina was in safe hands.

There are also a couple of other things that caught my attention that also could have come into play. Dina clearly wants a family. However, she is really young when she gets pregnant. Jesse drops a line on Day Three with Ellie that’s really sticking with me for this ask “Do you know if she gonna to keep it?” which to me is Jesse acknowledging that Dina might not want the child because she’s too young to be a mother, or reasons only he and Dina are aware of. I feel at some point during their relationship they had a discussion about kids and whatever answer she gave is what he is thinking about in that moment. We the audience don’t know what that aspect of their relationship was like so only Jesse and Dina can  know for sure how she felt.

The other reason I’m unsure of what Dina was feeling is the mental state this whole series of events placed everyone in. She had a feeling she was pregnant and still didn’t say anything, literally puts herself and a possible child in danger to try and keep Ellie safe. She fucking wanted to take her mask off and die so she wouldn’t be without Ellie. Maybe Dina didn’t want to have a kid and regrets it, but now Jesse is dead and she wants to keep some part of him with her? How would we really know what her thought process is when the situation is so completely fucked?

I think the question can be answered a bunch of different ways, depending on what kind of emotional outcome you want for Dina. For me I don’t want to say something definitive when there are so many factors at play that would reasonably alter the way Dina was able to handle the situation on her own terms.

At the end of it, JJ is loved and Dina is happy. Once she held him in her arms, if there ever was any regret, I think that evaporated right away.

💚: What’s your favorite thing about your kintype? (The species, creature, etc)

I'm quite fond of dragons for more reasons than just because I am one. If we're talking dragons in general, I love how versatile their designs can be, you can find thousands of unique depictions of dragons from human civilizations and as an artist I love that you can take the basic draconic idea and make such interesting and different species, types, and looks that all fit under the term dragon. Its a really fun exercise in creativity to draw different kinds of dragons, and as a shapeshifter its fun to take on different draconic forms with different appearance features. Dragons are also just fucking badass and beautiful creatures whatever form or environment we live in. -[cl]

As for wolf theriotype, I love how caring and complex and thoughtful wolves can be. In human history we are painted as vicious monsters of trickery and violent desires who only wish to kill and feed themselves, but once you take your head out of pure stereotypes by humans who were only salty for the cow they lost to a wolf pack one time, you see that we have complex societies, relationships, emotions, and are a meaningful part of the ecosystems that different wolf species inhabit. Wolves are more than just themselves, they are intrinsically woven into nature and each other, can grow to care for certain humans and let them into their packs, aside from hunting and small mishaps wolves are very gentle creatures who care for each other deeply. -[gr]

🌀: Do you think kins are spiritual or psychological in nature?

I believe that both spiritual and psychological kin exist, and for us personally we experience both. We are very much spiritually drawn to nature and the sky and the experiences of being nonhuman, but feel that our shifts and phantom limbs and even the feeling of being in a memory tend to have more of a psychological source. Both are valid and genuine nonhuman/kin experiences.

🗣: Does anyone know you are otherkin? Friends, family, etc? If so, how did you tell them?

Aside from online, one person in our life knows about our identity as nonhuman and otherkin. A few months ago after "therian" was referenced in a conversation our partner and us talked about our kin identities and we/I came out as nonhuman and helped him look at and reconnect with his own nonhumanity, it was really nice and I'm very glad we can be ourselves with each other. Other than him, weve briefly mentioned small aspects of nonhumanity to a small handful of people but never elaborated any further than "i dont see myself as human." or "some people do identify as something nonhuman" (the second was while explaining the use of it/its pronouns)

🐯: Do you wish you were your kintype? Why or why not?

I very much do. There are things in this life I love, but it just isnt me. I can have deep relationships like we have here as a dragon, I miss just the experience of going through the world as a dragon, whatever form I took. So much of this life feels wrong, our body, home, family, so many people and none of them can see me. it can be hard sometimes but with our boyfriend getting to be ourselves around each other and feeling seen with him is... really nice. Having a form and an environment in our system's headspace also helps with dysphoria, but to answer the question, yes i do wish I were a physical dragon. -[cl]

It's a similar sentiment as a wolf. I miss the life of a wolf, the family of my pack, being wild in the wild and being connected with and a part of nature. I miss having a wolf body, my strength, my claws and strong jaws and tireless muscles for running hours on end. My ears that could hear sounds from far away and identify them, my nose that could smell what walked by and how long ago, could smell that a deer had passed by a bush by smelling the leaves. Paws with claws that I could dig with, bristling my fur as a warning, chewing on things. I could go on, but again, to answer the question, I wish I were a wolf, with my wolf life back. -[gr]

I hate how stigmatized being an animal in a human body is to the general population here. people who like to wear ears or be treated like a dog doing normal things in their house are put on cringe compilations and wearing ears and a tail at home is seen as sexual intrinsically and I just hate that. Too many humans are too afraid of what is different from them, they like to peg us as insane or stupid or something to be "kept in the bedroom" or otherwise private and that really irritates me because suddenly doing anything deemed a little bit too far from normal "human" behavior is something to be laughed at and shunned and this hurts not only the alterhuman community but the disabled community at large (not intended to claim alterhumanity as a disability, it is an identity not a condition, but i'm comparing the way "society" views us) when people's body moves in a way that strays from the usual way "normal" humans carry themselves its viewed with fear or unease or disgust and this is just something that I feel is one of those things in human society that hopefully will get worked on over time so people get more accepting and accepted but right now its just causing a lot of shame and frustration. sorry for going on this rant but i do think about this. Forgot to mention the furry community in this too, it should be ok for people who do identify as human to also wear ears or a tail or a fursuit and have fun playing as animals in a nonsexual manner (not shaming ppl who do like kink pet play and stuff but im talking more out in the general world) and be allowed to do so without fear of being shamed and viewed with disgust or fear of literal actual violence because of expressing something they want to do.

15: The Break-Up

Overall Thoughts: This is one of the strongest episodes Glee ever did. It’s also one of the most emotional. It’s kind of strange, ranking it so high, though, because I actually rarely watch this episode since it makes me both furious and so, so sad. Let’s get into it.

What I Like:

My absolute favourite aspect of this episode is Brittana. We’ve seen Brittany explicitly missing Santana for three episodes now, and it all culminates in that scene at Breadstix. When Brittany tells Santana that she left her behind and it really hurt, I think it’s one of the most honest and emotional things Brittany has ever said. Although she didn’t want to break up with Santana, I think Santana was right in doing so. She didn’t shift any blame, she didn’t try and play the victim, she didn’t even excuse herself. “I haven’t been a good girlfriend to you” and that’s that. She isn’t what’s best for Brittany right now, and so she’s not going to keep dragging Brittany down. I think this is also one of the greatest character development moments for Santana; the Santana we saw in “Prom Queen” would never have thought of Brittany’s desires before hers. They’re growing up, and they’re doing what’s right. But, oh, god does it hurt to watch.

That scene between Finn and Rachel at the end is one of Lea Michele’s best acting moments in the entire show. Not that she’s a bad actress most of the time, but the emotion of it all is so real. It’s no secret that I’ve never been a big Finchel supporter, but I feel for her. I sobbed while watching this scene, just as I do every time, because she just blows me away.

The scene between Finn and Kurt is another personal favourite. We rarely got any scenes between these two, and it’s nice to see the comradery that they have.

Someone pointed out when this episode first came out that after “Don’t Speak” Blaine is always seen alone, sectioned off from the group. Even his first shot in “Don’t Speak” is him alone, the camera zooming in on him. Now, I really hate that Blaine cheated, like, more than anything, and I hate that they then spent the rest of the season focusing on his emotional journey rather than Kurt’s, but, that being said I think the imagery of this is lovely. It really shows his isolation, his loneliness, his state of mind. It also builds up in the next few episodes, and culminates in “Dynamic Duets”. It’s interesting how they can show so much about a person’s headspace with just cinematography.

Brody isn’t a douche. He shows up to Callbacks, and he greets Finn first. He’s nice to Finn, and he doesn’t ask Rachel to sing with him, only agrees to do so when Finn suggests it. He respects the boundaries that have obviously been raised by Finn being there, and I really appreciate that. Honestly, I feel like they could have done so much more with Brody if they hadn’t decided they were tired of him mid-season and offed him in one of the worst ways possible.

Kurt is so genuinely excited to see Blaine. It’s hard, because you know what’s coming, but it’s also refreshing to be reminded that even though Kurt is caught up in his new life that he still loves Blaine just as much as he did before he came to New York. It just sucks that the only nice scene we got between Klaine in this episode lasted .02 seconds.

Emma standing up for herself, and making it clear to Will that just because he didn’t get his way doesn’t mean the conversation isn’t over makes me so happy. People rarely talk about Emma’s character development, but she’s seriously come so far since season one. She made it very clear to Will that she wasn’t just going to bend over and do whatever he wanted, which is such a far cry from the Emma we met in the pilot who was basically following Will around like a lost puppy.

I know I already said it, but seriously. Brittana. They blow my mind.

What I Don’t Like:

The way the Klaine story plays out has always bothered me, and will continue to bother me until the day I die. They set it up so perfectly in the previous episode, and the beginning of this episode plays the same way: Kurt is too busy, and Blaine feels alone and neglected. THAT WAS ENOUGH OF A REASON FOR THEM TO BREAK UP. If a significant other made me feel the way Blaine was obviously feeling throughout this episode and the last one, I would break up with that significant other. He would have been completely justified in doing so. But no, apparently Kurt’s not allowed to be the bad guy (I love Kurt, I do, but he wasn’t being a good boyfriend), so instead of just going with what they set up, they pulled a cheating storyline out of thin air that made zero sense and honesty almost made me give up on Klaine. I just… ugh. I hate that they did that, and I will always hate that they did that.

The whole Kitty/Jake/Marley thing was stupid and unnecessary, as were most of their storylines throughout season four. Cut them out and give Brittana and Klaine, or even Wemma for fuck’s sake, more screen time. Please and thanks.

That being said, I really don’t understand why they tried to shoehorn Wemma into this episode as a “potential break-up” thing, when really all they had was a fight. By doing that, they basically brought them back down to high school level, like they’d been all throughout the first season, which isn’t what their relationship has been like for ages. It felt wrong and unnecessary, and I wish they’d played it more like the fight it was than as if it was some huge relationship ending drama that was literally never mentioned again.

While having all three main couples break up in one episode packed a huge punch, it was also frustrating because Finchel got the A plot, while Klaine got the B plot, Brittana the C, and then Wemma + Newbies a tiny D plot. Yeah, they tried to act like Klaine and Finchel got equal screentime, but most of the time both couples were on screen Finchel was touching, and cuddling and kissing, while Klaine were either in different cities or standing ten feet away from each other. Also, Finchel gets like a five-minute break-up scene at the end (which don’t get me wrong, I love that scene, I do) but we don’t even know if Kurt and Blaine are broken up. It just doesn’t seem fair to break every couple up in one episode if you aren’t going to give every couple their dues.

In “The Scientist” when they show Finchel and Wemma’s first kiss, and then scenes of Klaine and Brittana barely touching. WE GET IT FOX, YOU HATE GAYS. Jesus Christ.

Songs:

Barely Breathing: What I like about this song is how Blaine and Finn are in total different headspaces, but somehow this song manages to portray both perfectly. They sound awesome together, too. Plus, I love seeing Kurt in his fake Dalton uniform. Cutie.

Give Your Heart a Break: If I had to cut one song from this episode, it would be this one. I like it, don’t get me wrong, but it feels unnecessary. Every other song packs such an emotional punch, whereas this one is just sort of… there. I don’t know.

Teenage Dream: Although it breaks my heart, I really do love this version of the song. Slowed down versions of pop songs are my kryptonite, and Darren sounds so incredible singing it. Plus, again, the cinematography really does a good job of showing how isolated and claustrophobic he’s feeling. There’s also the crack in his voice when he says the last “let you put your hands on me”, which breaks my heart. He’s clearly thinking about Eli, and how desperately he wishes he hadn’t done it. All that being said: WHY DID YOU FUCKING CHEAT (im literally forever mad about it).

Don’t Speak: Again, emotional. Great harmonies. They all sound fantastic, and it’s really heartbreaking to watch. The one shot that always gets me is the one where Rachel and Blaine are alone at the fountain. Ouch.

Mine: Seriously, Brittana in this episode. Holy fuck. The first time I watched it I didn’t even ship Brittana (I didn’t really start shipping them until season five), but I still sobbed when Santana sang this, and I’ve sobbed every time since. It’s so fucking raw and emotional. So beautiful and amazing. I love it.

The Scientist: This is an awesome finale, and a really strong song. My only issue is how it’s pretty evenly split until right at the end when Rachel comes in and literally takes over the entire fucking song. I hate when they do that, it drives me crazy. But other than that, a great song to conclude a really strong episode.

Final Thoughts: Klaine is my otp, and I nearly lost faith in them during this episode. I’ll never forgive Glee for that. I still think that Blaine cheating was beyond unnecessary, and I will continue to think that until the day I die. That being said, it’s one of Glee’s strongest episodes ever, and that can’t be discounted. And seriously. Brittana. Holy fuck.

im just gonna vent a little bit, sorry mobile users.

 its personal, probably tmi, nsfw, but its just bothering me a lot. 

i dont know how much was taught to me and how much is my own ideology that i’ve constructed, but up until this past half year or so ive been completely sex repulsed, in every aspect. i still am in regards to irl, but i am exploring those feelings in fiction now. 

i used to vehemently suppress my sexual thoughts bc it just felt wrong, like i was stooping to a lower level. it was disgusting, morally wrong, dirty, that kind of thing. I know most people see sex as a natural thing that everyone eventually becomes interested in, but that was never the case with me. my upbringing wasn’t extremely religious, but it led me to pick up the idea that sexuality must not be discussed with anyone, ever. it was just a bad, forbidden thing. So, i do still identify as ace/aro. However, falling back in love with my current f/o seemed to be a catalyst for a huge change in my state of mind.

Due to my previously stated issues, it pains me to say that s.caramouche has literally been my sexual awakening. Ugh, that burned my fingertips to type out, but there it is. I’m in a better state of mind than i was at the beginning of this year, but i just don’t know where to go from here. There’s so many factors swirling around in my brain causing me a lot of inner turmoil if i sit and think too much on it, which i have been tonight. hence, this post. 

I’m at the point where i accept that i think these things, have these feelings towards him, fantasize about him. there’s still a voice from the back of my mind that looks at my thoughts and says “youre still this hung up on a cartoon character?” “do you know how weird this makes you?” ...stuff along those lines. That voice has gotten quieter, but another has spoken up. 

I want to put these feelings somewhere. Drawing and writing out what’s in my head is like pouring out those thoughts so my headspace has more...space, right? I have an entire filled up sketchbook dedicated to s.caramouche that is the result of me needing to empty out my thoughts so i dont die, and me needing more content of him since there is so little. Now that I’m facing the things i’ve been holding down for so long, i’ve hit a block. It’s not just a block for nsfw things, its just a bigass block for all art related things. It’s like ive run out of ideas. 

In reality, i know i’ve opened a whole new book of many many ideas. i want to write x readers, i want to draw spicy things of me and him. i have already, but now that i’m allowing myself to think sexual things, my headspace is full of it and i’m overwhelmed. i just dont know what to do. my therapist says that i just need time and self compassion, and my friends say to keep trying to draw and write and be as self indulgent as i want. i agree with both! but it’s tough. 

The voice in my head now says “why cant you do anything? just draw!” “talk to your friends they will understand!” “expression is the only way to get rid of your insecurity/embarrassment!” yeah, i hear you, voice. But now what i’m worried about is what people will think of me if i open up about this stuff. This isn’t who i was, i’m turning into a gross creep. I can’t talk about this to anyone, i can’t let people know i’m struggling with such a strange, deeply personal and kinda disgusting problem! 

If i reach out to strangers, they get the first impression of me being nasty. If i reach out to close friends, they learn that im nasty after a long time of being cool with me. i just have nowhere to go with this stuff and it’s weighing down on me. that’s why im posting this on the internet for strangers to read! yay! 

Joining this community was my pledge to myself that i’d share about f/o stuff and make friends and be confident in myself, but i’ve just stayed uptight about it while reblogging memes. After being a pretty much sfw blog, i kinda feel bad tarnishing that, even though i’ve had that warning there the entire time. I’m just, stuck.
