He's a settled person so he's not going to fidget and squirm. He could probably cuddle for hours if you both had time.

Spooning is very much a favorite. Especially if you've had a long day, the two of you will lay in bed. He'll press himself against you back, wrapping his arms around you and pressing his lips into your hair. Even though he's one of the smaller Genshin guys, he's warm and radiates this steady, grounded energy. Being the little spoon makes you feel safe and cared for. More often than not you fall asleep when spooning.

On the other hand, when Cyno gets home after a long mission, you'll curl up on the couch with his head on your chest

After the darkness that permeates his job, your heartbeat represents light and life and goodness. He values the time spent listening to your heartbeat just as much as he values rules and justice. It's a balance he needs and he knows it.

You know how kittens will curl up in little piles, facing each other and all and it is really, really cute?

You'll kinda burrow into each other and he'll wrap his tail around your legs

He'll even yet you scratch his ears while he pets your hair. No sleeping really ever happens like this, but it's so relaxing you might as well have taken a nap

If you're cuddling because you had a really bad day, you two might spoon, or you'll sit on his lap while he holds you and lets you pet his tail.

If you happen to fall asleep while cuddling his tail like a stuffed animal, he's fine with it, but is glad there's no one around to take a picture because that would just be embarrassing.

Xiao

Xiao is probably so touch starved it's stupid

Once he starts getting physical affection and serious cuddles, he realizes that he actually really needs it not that you mind

Like Cyno the type of cuddles depends on the situation

He's not as into spooning, though it does happen especially late night when you're tired and ready to sleep. I think he really wants to be able to see your face and even in Teyvat physics don't really allow for that when spooning

Instead, when you're the one who needs comfort and touch, you snuggle up to his side and he wraps his arm around you. As usual he doesn't say much,  but with Xiao, he really lets his actions speak for him

When he needs the comfort, he tends to want you on his lap where his can bury his face in the crook of your neck. He wraps his arms tight around you like he's scared to let you go.

It's all you can you to stroke his hair or gently rub his back. Just like his actions speak louder than words, your actions are more likely to reach him than platitudes, though you make sure to use your words as well. He really could use them

And sometimes you're just in the mood to cuddle at which point it depends on when and where. His head in your lap, yours in his, honestly, all he cares about is being able to see your face and be in contact with you

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ You are Ignyhide's mom figure, fixing everyone's hair and shirt. Everyone know that whoever is sorted into this dorm is somewhat of an introvert or ambivert. You, though, is an extrovert. You can talk freely, you know how to make friends and enjoy helping others around the campus. Yet, the others don't have this same capacity. And they need someone to take care of them, whence the title of mom, which was just a joke but slowly spread thought Ignyhide completely.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Idia was the most difficult person for you to get closer. He just seems to push away anyone that tried without even realizing but you persisted till you make friends with his brother and him. Taking care of Idia though... Sure, it's difficult sometimes.

"Let's go, Idiiiiiiia!” You tried to pull the antisocial Ignyhide dorm leader out of his bed, wanting to take him outside to sunbathe and eat in the canteen. You've been trying for a while now. Sometimes Idia was a lot like a younger brother to you. Stubborn, obstinate. His hair burning bright in a frightful color as you pulled him and he pushed you.

"Do you hate me, Yuu-shi? I didn't do anything wrong." Idia threw himself to the ground, a scream of pure terror escaping his throat as he struggled against you.

"Listen, either you walk out that door of your own free will or I'm going to throw you over my shoulders and we're going to leave the same way." You threatened him. You had tried every tactic you had on your sleeve today and still none of them were working. Regardless, he felt light enough for you to carry around.

"Yuu-shi wouldn't dare." Idia murmured back, he tried to sound confident and sure of what he is saying.

Yet he didn't stop you from pulling him to his feet this time, even though his legs were visibly tense and he had an annoying expression on his face. Idia knew that you meant what you said. And he wouldn't survive a day if someone saw you carrying him around. His shame would be too big to bear. He would be dead by the end of the night if that was to happen.

He gave you the best puppy dog eyes he could muster, but it was of little use. You opened the door for him and offered him a soft smile, trying to ease all the fear and anxiety he felt. Still, you had good intentions when trying to bring him out of his shell. There was tons of people you want him to meet, tons of things you wanted to do with him, outside from his room where you usually spent your free time. Without talking with him through a floating tablet.

You were working to make him realize that it was not healthy to stay cupped inside of his room all day. It was a slow process but in a few months, you know he'll be fine making phone calls and sending emails.

"C'mon, dude. We don't have all day." You teased him a little, watching him fumbling. He squeaked, hands founding yours to hold, to ground him, cold finger lacing with yours.

Idia didn't like this idea at all. There was so much that he could do at his room. Gaming, bing watching something, reading, studying. So why he have to abandon the comfort of his room?

He wanted to ask your intentions. But you are a mischievous guy, always so secretive, only the sevens may know what passed through your mind this week. Either way, Idia doubt that you would tell him where you're going or why. Sighed, he followed you outside.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ No matter how difficult he was, Idia was still your best friend. Your brother, if you will. Nobody could see one without the other nearby, even if most of the time it was just you and his floating tablet. It was a sweet friendship, most thought. And Idia deserved it. As did Ortho, the young robot was so funny to have around and he was as curious as a child, always asking you questions, even if he could have his answers with a snap of his fingers.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ While you make friends with Idia because you noticed how lonely he was, Ortho just latched onto you when he realized what you were trying to do, helping you in your mission to be Idia's friend. He was like a younger sibling, following you around, sometimes messing with your homework or phone for fun. He was mischievous. And you could never get angry at him because of his very cute puppy eyes. Often times, though, he includes you on his pranks.

"How things going, Yuu-shi?" Idia asked, voice tired and dark circles under his eyes as he stared at his computer. He knew it was you just by the sounds of your footsteps on the carpet.

Ortho programs are special, designed by Idia himself. They are not supposed to malfunction but sometimes errors happen and this is one of those times. Idia told you he would pull an all nighter so he could fix his brother and you, like the good friend you are, scold him for losing sleep. Yet, you brought with you some snacks and soft drinks, and you got to work with him.

The panel located on Ortho's chest glowed red, emitting a high-pitched sound that broke any and all silence that might exist, in addition to Idia's heavy breathing. You knew how to fix Ortho, you'd seen him do it a thousand times.

"I don't think that it's a systemic error, pass me the screwdriver so I can see something, Idia." Idia mumbled something, drinking one of your drinks as he lent you a screwdriver so you could taste your theory before turning back to his computer and start typing something again, running another bunch of tests.

"Be careful!" He advised. You huffed, of course, you were going to be careful.

You slowly began to unscrew the nails holding the panel in place, carefully placing it on the bed next to you. You observed all those wires and pieces, the fire on his chest burning even brighter now, you tried to remember for what which wire was for. Ignyhide was after all known to raise students to be the best in mechanics.

"Actually everything's normal," You murmured to Idia, there was nothing wrong with Ortho that you could see. Red light still emanating from somewhere below his artificial heart. "C'mere and help me, Idiaaa."

The older Shroud laughed at your tone but he complied, crouching down by your side. "Let's see..." Just as Idia reached out to inspect Ortho’s chest panel, the younger Shroud's eyes suddenly lit up, glowing a vivid yellow.

His previously limp body jerked upright and his voice, eerily robotic, boomed through the room: "Error 375, host unable to respond, initiating reboot sequence."

Idia yelped and practically jumped out of his skin, scrambling backward in a flurry of blue flames, his ears hurting from loud Ortho's announcement was. "W-what, error 375, what even is that? Ortho? What did you do?" He stammered, looking between you and Ortho in sheer disbelief, lost.

Then, just as suddenly, Ortho broke into his usual chipper grin. "Just kidding, Nii-san!" The younger Shroud chirped, a playful glint in his eyes. "Got you!"

Idia’s expression was a mix of shock and exasperation, his face and hair bright red from embarrassment. "You little—!"

Ortho giggled innocently, while you couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The prank had been a success.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ Aside from moments like that, you also help them with simple things, helping Idia with his dorm leader's duties in general, and playing with Ortho, helping them with laundry and making breakfast. And when you three go out to buy things or something, you always team up with Ortho to tease Idia. It's funny.

.⁠｡⁠*⁠♡ You and Ortho incentives Idia to be more sociable, though that's still not possible so often you three just spend time on the gardens or somewhere more secluded. At least, Idia can leave his room if you and his brother are by his side the entire time. He still have a long way to go to overcome his shyness but you're proud of him and you let him know at every opportunity.

Absolutely thinks it’s a game, laughing playfully while you’re holding on for dear life. (He literally thinks you’ll be fine no matter what 😭😭).

Has asked once or twice to be the one in the wheelchair because he thinks it’s like being on a ride. (He tried to do a trick and fell on his ass).

He is a sweetheart though <3 He’s trying to keep your spirits up and make you feel involved in all the action.

Roronoa Zoro

Is completely serious in protecting you. His eyes are on complete watch at everyone around you two.

Absolutely death stares anyone coming close even if they have no intention of harm.

NEVER leaving your side, especially in public. Consider this scary dog privileges with Zoro.

Sometimes forgets that you're in a wheelchair and walks too fast. He panics that he's lost you before realizing that you were just around the corner.

Usopp

Usopp tried to keep careful when handling your wheelchair if you need it.

He's definitely the one to keep his positive energy alive while with you. He's cracking jokes and sometimes moves your wheelchair along with his hums of a song.

Is the gentlest when it comes to picking you up and out of the wheelchair to set you down when you request to be. He likes feeling useful to you.

In the presence of danger, this is the equivalent of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo the way he just scurries off full-speed with you.

Vinsmoke Sanji

Sanji is usually the one to guide you if you're in the Strawhats. He keeps a steady pace and isn't reckless at all.

Takes any opportunity to be close. When standing still, he puts his head onto yours. While moving, he likes to hold your hand to keep close.

He is the one to formally complaint if public spaces aren't wheelchair-accessible while apologizing profusely for the establishment's insolence. (he's overdramatically crying)

Shanks

Not once will he ever make mention of it (that isn't about accommodations/preferences) nor treat you differently.

Always tries to make you feel involved, especially in group settings where he's always right beside you.

Normally sits down as well to keep eye level with you rather than standing over you. (He'll put his hat on you while keeping conversation going).

In threatening situations, his top priority is to get you safe before he engages.

Buggy

Like Luffy, do not entrust this man with your safety pls 😭 He's spinning the wheelchair way too fast and you have to hold on for dear life.

If ever you feel insecure about using a wheelchair, he's immediately setting you into the audience and creating an elaborate show to cheer you up.

If you insist on going somewhere on your own (which he only allows if he's still close because he worries), he'll still detach his hand so he can place it above yours.

Mihawk

Definitely the most trustworthy and safe. If you want to be moved, he will. If you wish to be independent, then he'll respect it.

When it comes to other people, they aren't important in his eyes since his focus is you and your comfort.

While he is stubborn, he is understanding. Not once has he shamed you at all. Even in his normally judging stares, they seemed to soften with you.

In regards to other people starting fights or trying to take advantage of you, he has no hesitation in defending you. It's basically on sight.

Sendoh Akira x Gn!Reader Headcanons

Sendoh enjoys picnic-style dates. He finds the mood that nature presents stunning. the yellow light that the sun casts on everything, including you, is enough for him to gently grab your cheek and give you a chaste kiss on either your lips or cheek.

I can't see him having a type. He might say he does around his friends, but not actually. He goes with the flow. Whoever life throws his way, he'll accept them wholeheartedly.

He is a cultured man who doesn't speak while eating. However, just because he doesn't do it, it doesn't mean he will judge anyone who does. Most of the time, people's habits often slip his mind. Some might find your actions rude, but for Sendoh, it's nothing new—just a part of your personality.

One of the benefits of being with you is that he gets to hear his name from your lips the moment you confessed. Hearing the letters 'A' and 'K' together from you automatically makes him turn his head toward you, all giddy and acutely aware of your voice. With wide eyes, he looks at you, only to realize that, no, you did not say his name.

It's enough to ruin his nice mood. (Until you call out his name in 5 minutes.)

He loves holding your hand, feeling the warm, soft texture of your skin beneath his. It's romantic and makes his heart gently skip a beat. He can't help but smile whenever it happens.

I also think that if you have no problems with the action, he'll walk with his arm around your neck and shoulders, swaying gently as he walks alongside you. It's his favorite place to be.

I believe he has a nice laugh, not too boisterous but not too quiet. Definitely not a wheezer. It usually begins with a smile that stretches too wide until it snaps into a laugh, with the tips of his eyebrows raised. If this were a shoujo, you would see roses and sparkles with a pink, cloudy background.

Although he may look like a flirt, most of your intimate words directed at him fly over his head. It's quite annoying that he asks you to explain it later.

It isn't a secret that Sendoh likes fishing, so if you don't know how or have never fished before, he'll take you to a lake and teach you everything he does and why he does it.

He will be one Those guys who take pictures with with their giant catch in hand. He'll have you hold the camera for it too.

Most of the time he lets his catch go, only keeping a few to prepare food with.

Sendoh isn't a great cook, but he is good at following instructions, so he makes do. He isn't an artistic guy, so the presentation is always mediocre, but the taste is fine. However, if he is cooking for you, he really tries to make it look edible.

Moving on... He favors being a little spoon. He doesn't care what size you are. Just hold him. It's enough for the butterflies to come alive in his stomach. Also, he isn't a blanket person. ILLUMINA GENERAL DATING HCS

Illumina tends to lose track of time, like a lot. Sometimes, he doesn't even realize that you need to be sleeping and he would just love to spend time with you. He can't comprehend the fact of time itself; Day time and Night time are like hallucinations to him. If you were to correct him on such, he would utterly avoid any points you make or make counters, such as him tossing you around and ignoring each time you try to demand being let go. He absolutely loves how you get so mad at him for such a silly little thing!

He is very bird-like, and you can tell by his very bird-like notions. Sometimes he'll accidentally knock into glass-sliding doors and be completely confused. What do you mean there was glass infront of him? There's nothing there! Sometimes, you might even catch his cleaning his feathers at his favourite past-time. He used to get really grouchy about, in which you understood. At the start of your guys relationship, he was quite private, especially taking care of his wings. Now, he's completely fine with you doing so, sometimes even asking you to help.

He'd get really overprotective with you sometimes when you get to meet new people. He likes to let people know you are his. He is not willing to trade for anything about you, and you notice this a lot. Sometimes he'll wrap his arms around you, his wings slowly rising beside him and you and his chin relaxing on your head. He likes to humilate the other while embarrassing you, stating how much you and him are together, flaunting it in others faces. You set some boundaries around this and he followed, but he still likes to let his presence be known or noticed.

Because of your involvement with Illumina, and being his soon-to-be-engagement partner (I tried my hardest to make this as inclusive as possible I am so sorry), you were mostly greeted with gifts from many other deities. Deities such as Windforce, Venomshank, and even Firebrand and his two sons(?). They'll deliver care-packages to display their gratitude and that your always welcome under their care, even though Illumina is someone that they don't really connect well with.

Cuddling with him is one of your favourite things, mostly because you have the ability to embarrass him. Even though he's 7'0", you always big-spoon him. He'd always try his hardest to be the big-spoon, but in the end, he loved the attention you'd give him as he finally gets that big ol' sleep.

He is a horrible cook, but that's okay. Sometimes, it'd be hilarious bakings and dinners, and sometimes near-death from the house burning down. I promise you he doesn't mean it!! But he'll struggle so badly to impress you, which he always successes. You always tend to help him, in which he tries his hardest to shoo you away!! But in the end, the help is always met with great gratitude, cuddles and affection.

Illumina struggles with affection, I'm not kidding. Being unaware of his own presence and being someone so cruel to others, only to fall for someone like you? He struggles. He never had been this affectionate, on both giving and recieving side, but he's always keen to try. When he tried to figure out more, he asked Ghostwalker, someone he knew he couldn't go back to but he needed major help. Sure, they both broke off, but he was willing to try anything. Ghostwalker found it strange, dangerous but was somewhat grateful that Illumina was willing to change. In the end, Illumina came home and was in the most affectionate mood, taking care of you and also, forgetting to check up on dinner in the oven.

He does give you nicknames, but isn't too keen on big major ones. The ones he use the most is, 'My Angel', 'Princess', 'My starlight', or any other cheesy name that he can give you. He varies much and listens into other nicknames he can give you.

If you try to call him out on it, he'll instantly get embarrassed because he didn't realize he was doing it.

Myc:

Oh boy...

Myc has literally got into verbal AND physical altercations for you.

Even if someone only so much as glanced at you in any negative or positive way, he'll start cursing them out.

It's worse if the person even thinks about you at all.

Ron is the the type to seethe when he gets jealous and will go eerily quiet. Going non-verbal as he holds your hand

Just staring down at the person with a glare, not even glancing away for a second. It's his way of saying; "Fuck right off."

When the person gets uncomfortable and finally leaves, Ron would huff and just stick by you the rest of the day.

If you ask him if he's OK, he'll lie and say he's fine.

But by the end of the day he does open up to you about it. And maybe even feel bad.

He tries not to let ot bottle up when he gets like that and actively tries to communicate with you when it starts to happen.

Rand:

If you ask him to, he'll even cook for you! Its very typical Japanese meals but you can tell he put a lot of effort into them for you to feel better

Arthur is willing to work on any flaws he might has, since improving is never a bad thing to do.

Liu can be very cold and standoffish (understandably so) around people he doesn't know or doesn't trust, but he's actually an incredibly kind, sweet and caring person, 10x to his loved ones.

Like, the man is ALWAYS there for his friends, family, and of course his hubby [Eyeless] Jack. It doesn't matter what time it is or if he's busy, he'll wake up or drop what he's doing in a heartbeat to be there for them.

Very good at seeing through lies, and it definitely is a good thing. You can't bs the guy with “haha yeah no I'm fine I'm fiiiiinneeee!” He'll call you out in an instant.

And then proceed to go above and beyond to make sure you're okay.

Liu is all about comfort items. Wanna call it childish? He'll just be like 🖕🏻👁👅👁🖕🏻

Comfort items & getting cozy with a warm beverage is 100% his go to 👏🏻 because👏🏻 it👏🏻 works👏🏻

He forces (not in a wired way but a sweet, almost motherly way) others to do the same when they're struggling.

Seriously, when Jack is struggling with his PTSD (or godforbid in full mental breakdown), smol stitches gremlin will legit tackle his foot taller cannibal demon hubby, wrap him up like a burrito (in Jack's comfort blankie ofc), put on one of the stupid 90s stoner comedy movies that Jack loves so much and make him a warm cup of coffee. Then refuse to stop cuddling him until Jack is 110% better.

Jack also does the same for Liu when he's struggling. Only difference is Liu gets strawberry juice (not coffee) and additionally buried under plushies.

Jack and Liu both struggle with eating disorders (I've elaborated in this hc) but they're in recovery together and it's going very, very, very well💕💕💕

Not a Liu HC, but Sully: Jack was the first person to treat Sully like an individual person of his own, rather than a problem - as everyone else had treated Sully previously. Jack was also really patient getting to know Sully too, wanting to know him as a person - something no one else had done before as well. Sully took time warming up but eventually he did once he realized Jack was genuine and trustworthy. Jack fell in love with Sully as much as Liu, and Sully fell in love with Jack just the way Liu did. Of course, Sully is a different person, so Jack and Sully's relationship is definitely different than Jack and Liu’s. Jack is more than content with that though.

Sully is definitely still very reckless and rough jagged around the edges, but he really did soften up quite a bit over time because of Jack 💕

Jack also helped Sully and Jeff build a healthy, brotherly relationship - though, again, it's never going to be the same as Jeff and Liu’s, but Jeff is fine with that. Jeff actually thinks it's pretty cool having not one but two brothers!!

Sully and Liu also are making a lot of progress accepting each other and beginning to get along (sometimes lol)
