Right?? I don’t get it fr. Shipping Light with Misa specifically is like.. LMFAO I CANTTTT he literally hates her so much but it isn’t even that he hates her, he actively avoids all sorts of intimacy with her and when he Does do something, he only does so to continue using her as a pawn. I mean, the only reason he even kept her alive was bc he didn’t have a choice in the first place bc of Rem. And like, his avoidance and internal rejection of her and other women isn’t even a “Kira” thing, bc he still did so when he was memoryless and we also know he avoided dating girls pre death note/Kira persona bc he said he was “waiting until college” etc. So there’s a clear canonical pattern of Light avoiding romantic relationships with women. Which on its own would be like ok whatever, but at the same time there is a clear pattern of an active interest in male characters even when they are equal to the female characters such as Takada vs Mikami. There’s also the fact he shows no discomfort whenever L touches him specifically during Yotsuba arc, and also the fact that in the manga he asked one of his friends to send him a holiday card to which his friend replied “I only send them to girls” which is essentially stating this is a romantic gesture and Light did just ask for it.

I mean, I could go on and on but there is quite a lot of gay coding going on in the manga and then of course in the anime and subsequent DN adaptations (minus the Netflix movie that we shall pretend doesn’t exist)

I don’t rlly get the hatred toward Lawlight tbh? It’s pretty weird, because their relationship is like… 90% of the appeal of Death Note imo. But to each their own I suppose. Personally, I just think there is a lot of canonical justification and intentional gay coding/subtext to warrant it.

If Ohba didn’t want us to ship lawlight then perhaps they shouldn’t have written them to be some sort of fucked up soulmate pair who complete each other and perhaps they shouldn’t have make jokes hinting at L and Light having a homosexual undertone to their relationship and PERHAPS they shouldn’t have had an entire story arc where L literally handcuffs himself to Light for 100 days straight and where they share an UNMONITORED room…. LMFAOOO that right there was 100000% ship tease idc what anyone says. Ohba knew what they were doing idgaf

And yeah I know about the kataang stuff. It’s weird for me too. See Lawlight is my OTP hands down. Kataang is a strong second contender. I love both pairings about the same but in very different ways. It’s funny because they’re very drastically different pairings of course, but that also is the stories themselves and the narratives.

Kataang is about the most wholesome ship you could ship meanwhile Lawlight is inherently fucked up butttttttttt Death Note itself is a fairly mature story dealing with inherently fucked up subject matter and characters so there’s rlly no avoiding that.

I don’t rlly care what someone thinks of my ship preferences, the only thing that annoys me is antis who misrepresent canon like with Kataang or antis with Lawlight who basically say we’re bad ppl for shipping it. Like as if Lawlight isn’t a huge ship in anime/manga lol. Truly one of the forefathers of toxic yaoi 🤣

As for who I ship Zuko with: I do ship Maiko though I’ll say I’m not hugely invested in the pairing. I don’t have much to say on it other than I enjoy their scenes in the show and I think they are a nice couple. I don’t care for Zuko and Sokka, I think it’s kind of in that same category as zvtara and I don’t care for that ship at all.

I actually ship Zuko with Aang lol. Like Zuko and Aang when they’re older, I can get behind zukaang 100% in part because they are like that kindred spirit thing similar to lawlight to me. I really enjoy that aspect of their relationship and I again think canonically, zukaang would be plausible if it weren’t for maiko and kataang.

Hi! I was wondering if you could do a dad!Spencer or dad!Derek w/ a kid that got into a rlly bad school fight, she finally had enough of one of the meanest kids in school and the fight was so bad the ambulance was called. (Not for the kid Ofc she’s a lil baddie fr)

A/N: I chose to do this with Derek and Morgan!reader. Hope you like it! Reader is about 12

Warnings: Bullying, fighting (not descriptive), a few curse words. Let me know if I miss any!

The same girl had been picking on you and your friends for weeks. It started off small with things like jokes here and there but it slowly escalated to where some of your friends would miss school because they didn’t want to risk running into her. You didn’t let it get to you like it did to your friends. Any chance you could you would stand up to her and most times she backed off. This was something your dad had taught you. 

Derek always told you to be tough and stand up for yourself but he also wanted you to tell him so he could help you solve it. This was a particular situation where you thought you could handle it yourself. Your dad couldn’t walk in and beat this kid up like he could an unsub.

The lunch bell finally rang and all the kids in your math class packed up and left the classroom. Since you were one of the first ones out, you walked down the hall to wait for your friend as she left her class. You waited by the door for a minute until you heard the voice you wish you didn’t have to hear.

“Hey slowpoke, move it or lose it,” you watched the school bully push your friend out of the way. There was clearly enough room for her to walk out of the room without running into anyone.

“I wasn’t even in your way,” your friend mumbled under her breath as she finally reached you. 

The other girl whipped around and got in your friend's face, “What did you say to me? If you have shit to say, say it loud and proud.”

“Back off,” you snapped. You were getting fed up of this girl’s behavior and you just wanted it to stop.

“This is none of your business Morgan,” she snapped back, glaring at you.

“Just leave everyone alone. It’s not funny to pick on people and it doesn’t make you look cool,” you said. Your friend wanted you two to leave so she grabbed your arm but you shook her off.

“I’m not scared of you Y/n. I don’t care that your dad is an FBI agent. He can’t do anything to me. I’m not breaking any rules.”

“Yeah? Well you’re being a bitch and you need to knock it off. I’m sick of you being a jerk to everyone.”

The girl took a step closer to you and you could feel the tension in the hallway grow. Kids had stopped to look at what was happening. You were surprised no teachers had come and interrupted yet, “Listen here, go about your day and I’ll leave you alone for now. But if you don’t, I’ll make sure this week is the worst it’s ever been for you.”

You took a step closer to her, trying to intimidate her. She was a grade older and she was bigger than she. She most definitely had the upper hand, “Go for it.”

Before you could react, her hands were on you but luckily, Derek made sure you could hold your own in a fight so before she could pull you to the ground, you knocked her to the ground. Since she had a hold of you, you fell with her.

Within minutes, the two of you engaged in a fight that you had only seen in movies. Granted, you haven't seen too many fights in real life either. All you knew is that shortly after you both fell to the ground, two teachers pulled you off of each other.

You were in the office anxiously bouncing your leg, waiting for your dad to come. They had to call him and the other girl’s parents since a teacher had to call an ambulance for her. It wasn’t super serious. Just a broken nose and a concussion. The principal already said you wouldn’t be in trouble since all witnesses said you were defending yourself. You were grateful for that since something like this would look bad on your record. Even though you weren’t in trouble, you were worried about how your dad would react.

Your self defense skills were supposed to be for emergencies or life of death situations. Not a case of a middle school bully. Derek didn’t like hearing his daughter got involved in a fight but after hearing the circumstances, he was proud.

You heard the door of the office open and your dad’s familiar footsteps. You ducked your head down so you wouldn’t have to look at him as you grabbed your backpack.

“You ready?” your dad asked you. He was a bit confused as to why you weren’t immediately running into his arms or why you were avoiding eye contact.

“Yeah,” you mumbled, standing up from your seat. 

Once you reached him, Derek slung his arm over your shoulders and gave you a side hug, “I’m proud of you,” he said.

“Why?” you asked, confusion in your voice, “You should be mad at me. I sent some girl to the hospital.”

“Because that girl was picking on you and your friends and you stood up for yourself. If you hadn’t, that would be you,” Derek explained, “Why would I be mad at you for protecting yourself?”

You shrugged, “You said that self defense was for unsubs and bad guys. She wasn’t either of those things.”

Derek looked over to you, “Someone was hurting my kid and her friends, I think that’s enough to warrant some self defense. Don’t you think?”

“I guess,” you said, “I just hope she leaves everyone alone now.

“Well I’m sure she will. Otherwise Y/n Morgan will open another can of whoop-ass. I don’t think anyone looks forward to that,” he teased, nudging your shoulder gently.

You two left the school and for the rest of the day, the two of you stayed at the BAU. Once the other girl returned to school a week later, she didn’t mess with you or anyone again.

The first time Napoleon meets you was when he legit grabbed your hand and pulled you along with him, as he tried to get you out of the mansion. It was not safe for a human in a mansion full of vampire, and this soldier wanted to get you out before it was too late. But alas it was just that, too late. By the time the two of you had arrived at the door from whence u came, it was sealed shut, and no amount of tugging or pulling could get it to open.

Comte, who had heard the commotion, stepped into the hallway to see you and Napoleon trying to open the door. He strode over to you and placed a gentle hand on your shoulder as he led you and the soldier to his study so he could explain. After a lengthy explanation about your current situation he named Napoleon as your personal bodyguard to help you navigate, the Paris of the past

To say you were starting to overthink and get anxious would be an understatement. Napo looked over at your quiet demeanour and scanned your face to find a glimpse of anxiety. After the conversation with Comte was over, Sabastion came to escort you to your room for the night.

The next few days you spent cooped up in your room. Too anxious to leave, u needed time and space to sort through your feelings. 

Your stomach started grumbling, but you just ignored it, cause honesty you were just too stubborn to go downstairs and ask for help. Napo had been pacing outside your door, trying to figure out the best way to coax you from your room. That’s when he heard the rumble coming from your stomach. He gently opens the door and strode into your room, “come nunuche, I made too many pancakes this morning, And I need some help finishing them.” Just as you were about to refuse your stomach gave another loud growl, cue Napoleon bursting out into laughter, “I think its best we feed that little bear before it gets angry.”

You couldn’t help but chuckle at Napo, as the soldier went from scary and intimidating to boyish and playful in 0.2 seconds. You smiled as you watch the former Emporer of France try to catch his breath through his full body laughter fit. He finally calmed down and grabbed your hand, pulling you towards the dining room. A new fit of laughter erupted from the man as you couldn’t help but crack a joke on your way there. The rest of the afternoon was spent cracking jokes and eating pancakes.

Napo found you incredibly amusing, especially how you could go from funny and playful, to awkward in 2 seconds flat. He loved to joke along with you and then tease you whenever you would turn into an awkward mess the second one of the other residents entered into the room. 

Especially Arthur, you would often get annoyed at his flirty comments and pick up lines, you absolutely left Napo in stitches when you made a sarcastically awkward comment back to Arthur on afternoon. Napo had learned by now that you were actually rather soft-hearted so the minute he saw the guilt flash across your eyes for being annoyed at Arthur’s comments, he squeezed your hand in reassurance, “don’t feel guilty nunuche, trust me he deserves it. Plus if you don’t believe me, just ask Isaac.”

Napoleon would invite you with him every day to help teach the children at his makeshift school. At first, you were somewhat socially awkward, but thanks to Napoleon and Isaac’s encouragement, you actually started teaching a class of your own. Napo loved how smart and passionate you were. You gave your all in teaching the children various topics, and honestly, Napo couldn’t help but fall in love with you. You taught them everything from maths to history, and the children absolutely adored you. So did Napoleon tbh, the man would take sneaky glances just watching you in your element. When stealing these little glances of you, a lovestruck foolish smile would dance across his face, which most certainly didn’t go unnoticed by Isaac or the children.

After class, Isaac would go off to his second job as a professor of the University, leaving you and Napoleon up to your own devices. Napoleon seemed to bring out that playful side of you, as the two of you goofballs would grab lunch at a nearby cafe. Or have a little picnic in the park, and just spend the entire time quick-firing stupid puns and jokes at each other. You sometimes get super hyper and start saying random words, which leads the two of you to have loads of random conversations. And TBH the two of you are always pulling silly faces at each other just for laughs. You live for those moments when u make a joke or pull a face, and monsieur de Whaha starts erupting with laughter. It is a true sight to behold, the way his whole body shakes, and the sight alone is enough to prompt you into your own laughing fit.

The day Napoleon knew you were the one and only woman for him, was the day he found you in the training hall. You loved swords and weapons so when you were helping Sebastian with housework one day, and you came across a vast display of swords, you were absolutely ecstatic. You wasted no time in picking up one of the swords and swishing it around. Napoleon walked into the room just as you pick up one of the swords and his eyes went wide, “pfft what in the world are you doing?” You narrowed your eyes at the man, as he chuckled, “practising, obviously.” 

Napoleon’s eyes lit up as he strode past you to pick up a sword of his own, “then I shall be your partner.” You smiled a broad smile as you went on the offensive and attacked Napoleon. The two of you spent the next few hours smack-talking each other as you fought. Napoleon enjoyed every moment of your fight and the way you were determined to win. He found that competitive side of you rather sexy, so much so that he decided to confess his feelings.

After you had beaten him, he proposed a rematch, but this time he raised the stakes. He went on the offensive, and just before delivering the final blow, he dropped his sword and grabbed hold of you. Smouldering jade blue eyes met your brown ones questioningly, and once he found his answer, he leaned down to kiss you.

The former emperor of France was utterly head over heels for your stubborn optimistic, competitive personality. He absolutely adored what a walking contradiction you were, being both a realist and optimistic, being organized yet messy at the same time. Napoleon had noticed early on in your relationship that you were rather closed off and slowly, but surely he managed to get you to open up to him. The two of you have had many a deep conversation while cuddling. 

He found that whenever you were snuggled in his arm, it was easy to pry information out of you. Especially when he would tickle you. He found out a lot during his cuddle interrogation sessions like how you feared judgement, the unknown future and failure, like how you actually care about your appearance and that you have a superiority complex. None of which scared him off, if anything he loved you more for it! Being sure to curb and banish all your insecurities with the sweetest words of affirmation and praise.

Napo like you, is also a bit of a romantic so this dork will 100% plan dates under the stars, especially after he found out about your love for astronomy and space/stars. He will definitely plan small quiet dates for the two of you, away from the loudness of the mansion. This boi will burst into your room in the afternoon, drag you to the stables, plonk you on top of a hose and before you know it you are sitting in his arms reading or chatting about anything from philosophy to psychology under the shade of a willow tree, surrounded by flowers.

Napo loves your writing, and this boi will insist you read him your fics whenever you finish them. He will spend the next ten days bragging about how amazing your writing skills are to everyone, even going as far as to say your a much better writer than Arthur. 

Knows you need space and alone time and will give you as much as it as you need. He knows you will come and find him once you want some company again. And once you do seek him out, he will crush you in a warm embarrass and whisk you off on some exhilarating adventure.

Mornings between the two of you sweethearts consist of soft, heart-melting moments. Naturally, the first thing Napo does when he wakes up is, plant a loving kiss on your lips. okay so i realized i have sooo many typos in that post that you were so unbelievably kind about @nulltune​ ! mizuki somehow became my favorite female character and someone i personally relate with in a very personal way. a lot like my main muse really! just the ultimate girlboss queen of the brawl beyond superhuman prettiest girl on the planet (besides hakuno ofc). it means so much to me that you read that and trauma while horrible and painful, is so key to mizuki’s character? so i never not stress how crucial it’s made her, and i know how niche the aistf games are, personally the first / OG game by far is my favorite, the writing is chef’s kiss — nirvana was so fun to play. 

like you i’m full canon divergent and if you ever get into these games i strongly recommend it because while the OG has a lot of gore, the second does not, and while i don’t consider it a ‘true sequel’ but more an alternate timeline? it’s still worth seeing a grown up mizuki, although trust me, i have many grievances, and many praises for the quality of life updates! really i’m just embarrassingly obsessed with kaname and mizuki date and their artificial eyeball shrimp named aiba (did you know mizuki and aiba are voiced by the eng vas of paimon and venti? yeah wild. also while i’m horrible at genshin sometime i’d love to add you! i’m becoming thanks to my best friend … dramatic hand wave…. smarter. my main dps is actually jean and my favorite charas are yae miko who i got all her things (i legit screamed) and kaeya (please make him a five star and happy) )

you’re always so supportive of my metas and posts, and while i do believe i owe you an ask from hakuno, totally lost the meme hope you don’t mind queen, it means the world to me that you love mizuki and haven’t even touched ai the somnium files / nirvana initiative which makes me think i’m doing an okay job with my favorite female character. if you can handle dirty humor, absurdity, but the BEST found family tropes and things and the surreal along with core elements that make the murder / noir detective / horror genre so great? you would love them. they play much like a visual novel.

Woojin was the first person to crush you in one of his tender ‘woojin, i think you’re suffocating me’ hugs. Jihoon joined the hug, nearly squealing.

He had been anticipating your return for the longest time but there was a complication with one of his tracks and he was needed back in the studio to rerecord it, thus, he had to wait a bit longer to see you again. You hoped to at least see him once before the sun set today. 

“Hello Y/N! How was your trip?” Sungwoon greeted, smiling warmly as you were also his good friend. 

“Hi oppa, and it was good break. I missed you guys though,” you replied.

“Pfft, you only miss Daniel hyung,” Jihoon insisted. “Ahh, what should I do! Y/N noona doesn’t like me anymore!” You attempted to reach over and wrap your arms around your playful younger brother as Sungwoon started driving. 

“Ugh, don’t even ask me why I’m still friends with you Jihoon. I can never forget about my indirect hyungs and dongsaengs, especially you and Woojin! You guys are so special to me." 

"Yah! What am I to you then? I woke up early to drive with these two jokes all the way to the airport for you,” Sungwoon scoffed, shaking his head but a smile was prominent on his pretty features. You giggled, glad to be surrounded by your friends and their banter, it brightened your mood and lifted the spirit. The atmosphere was relaxed and happy unlike in college. Sighing, you realised you only had about two weeks to spend finishing up your assignments, studying and hanging out with your friends. 

Woojin noticed the sudden shift in your mood, he gazed worriedly at you and patted your shoulder affectionately. “What’s the matter noona?" 

"Nothing, just realised how little time I have left with you guys,” you said, grateful for his observation skills. “I’m okay. Just really tired.”

“Sleep, Y/N. It’s a very long journey to your dormitory,” Sungwoon said. You nodded, resting your head on Jihoon’s shoulder and shutting your eyes.

… 

“Baby, wake up. Y/N, it’s me.” A soft, caring voice lured you out of your slumber.

Still blur and teary-eyed, you slowly sat up and came to your senses, rubbing your eyes. You opened them, only to see your boyfriend’s handsome face staring back at you. 

Daniel. 

You nearly shrieked with joy, throwing your arms around his wide shoulders and pulling him close to you. Daniel let out a surprised laugh at your eagerness but held onto you tightly too. He seemed reluctant to pull away and assisted you out of the car. 

The two of you bid the three other boys goodbye as they headed back to the Wanna One house while Daniel helped you to settle back into your dormitory. You knew your roommates were still out on vacation so it wouldn’t matter. 

You nearly fell asleep again in Daniel’s arms. “Is my baby girl tired? Aww….when you’re in your room you can nap while I unpack your things, okay?” he said, eyes twinkling at your cuteness. 

You flopped onto your bed and curled up in a ball. It took you some time to fall back to sleep, so you watched Daniel hurry about your room, neatening and packing your belongings. God bless. “Daniel, come and cuddle with me,” you called out, reaching out to him. “I can’t sleep." 

Daniel smiled, happily obliging. "Do you want to go out tomorrow?" 

"I don’t know…you’re still busy in the studio right?" 

Your boyfriend nodded sadly. "Unfortunately, yes. The rest of the boys are quite free though, you can ask them to take you out. I may be able to meet you for dinner though. For now, you should rest. Goodnight, Y/N." 

So, with Daniel humming sweet melodies and tracing circles on your back, you had no problems going back to dreamland.

"Wah! Woojin and noona look so much like a couple!” Jihoon yelled, clicking away on his camera. 

“What?” Woojin was quick to reply, “Me and noona? No way. Ugh. Daniel can keep her !" 

Your jaw dropped and you gasped in mock offence, slapping the younger boy’s shoulder playfully. He beamed at you, showcasing his adorable snaggletooth.

Daniel had told Woojin, Jihoon, Seongwoo and Jaewhan to look after you while he and the rest of the group was busy with something. You were upset he was still occupied with work but promised to come home safe and sound to him. Woojin and Jihoon was ecstatic when they found out they would be going out with you and by their idea of going out, they meant driving to the beach in the middle of summer transition. You were hesitant but they convinced you that’d it be fun. 

"We’ll go to the carnival and eat seafood for lunch? Okay? I promise!” Jihoon swore. 

Seongwoo fell asleep on the drive there but was energised and ready to take on some rides at the fair which was pretty crowded considering it was still holiday time. He looked at Jaewhan and back at the rides. 

“Yes, hyung?" 

"Oh…nothing." 

He wasn’t sure if he was ready for more of the vocalist’s strange psychotic laughter. He stepped back to admire you and Woojin’s banter as the two of you posed for 'couple’ photos, it was amusing. 

"Come on! I want to go to the haunted house!” Jaewhan insisted, skipping excitedly in that direction. 

Seongwoo wanted to punch him in his perfect face. Did he really think he could take it? 

“Y/N, I will protect you!” Woojin said bravely. 

“Let’s go!” “Don’t forget about me! I’m a black belt!” Jihoon whined, linking your other arm his.  

Seongwoo groaned, he felt Jaewhan wrap his arms around him even as they lined up to get inside. 

… 

“That was…amazing!” You declared as you ventured out of the haunted house. Jaewhan was the first to get scared by a ghost, he yelled (psychoticlaughter) and clung onto Seongwoo tightly. 

“I really, genuinely, wholly hope I never have to do that again,” Seongwoo muttered, 'that’ was not walking through the haunted house but 'that’ was being forced to hug a screaming Jaewhan. Jihoon and Woojin did freak out quite a bit as they adventured through but emerged unscathed emotionally and physically.

“I think I want to work as a scarer,” Jaewhan announced, seemingly positive about his newly chosen career path. 

The others blinked at him. You had to restrain Seongwoo from punching his friend. 

… 

You were finishing off the ice cream that Jihoon had bought for you just as the car pulled up outside the Wanna One house. 

The ice cream was just for you. 

Not for the entire group. 

It made you feel bad so you attempted to share some with each boy but Jihoon had complained, “Y/N! Don’t waste my love for you on them.” and sulked. 

You were amazed by how clean and tidy the house was, it was also very prettily decorated. 

“Y/N!" 

You spun round at the sound of Daniel calling your name. He hugged you then placed a tender kiss to on your lips. "Ooh, nice ice cream. You pick good flavours." 

"Oh! Jihoon bought this cone for me. You have to ask him what it is, it’s very good!” At your statement, you swore that Daniel’s jaw clenched and his smile faded sightly, he looked away from you to glance at someone over your shoulder. 

“Oh. That’s so nice of him, stop freeloading off others babe. What other flavours did he buy for his hyungs?" 

"Uh… he only bought one for me…” you added in a small voice, licking off the last bit. Daniel’s eyes darkened, for two complete different reasons and you weren’t sure if you wanted to find out. 

Luckily, Jisung called everyone to eat so you managed quickly escape that sticky situation.

The next few days passed by in a blur, you were happy to have your roommates back but that also served as a constant reminder that school was starting soon. You were out of contact with the boys for a bit as you caught up on school work but Woojin and Jihoon were the first to text you to ask you out for coffee. They said Daniel had recommended it and it would be nice if you could try it with them. You asked about your boyfriend and the rest of your friends, they replied by saying that all was well, they were busy but happy and well rested. 

I’ll buy them dinner tonight, they’re working so hard and they’re such good friends of mine, you thought. 

“Y/N unnie, where are you going?” one of of your younger roommates asked.

“Ahh, I’m going to see some friends of mine.” You didn’t dwell on the details. 

“Is it your idol friends?" 

You pursed your lips and glared at her. 

"Ahh, unnie likes her idol friends more than us now,” your other flat mate added in a joking manner. 

“Introduce me to them! I need a boyfriend!" 

They let you go eventually and you rolled your eyes. 

Actually, my dongsaengs would be a nice fit for Jihoon and Woojin. How sweet, I should ask them. 

You broke the question as the three of you sipped on various coffees. Jihoon said he didn’t mind, making a new friend was good anyways. Woojin was a bit more hesitant and shy, his awkwardness was definitely more prominent. "I-I-I-I mean…I g-guess? Management doesn’t really bother us with it now. For now…uh…uh…maybe. It’s good to make new friends right?" 

You laughed and reached over to squish his adorable, reddening cheeks. Woojin covered his face with his hands in embarrassment. 

None of you noticed pictures being taken and uploaded on fancafes.

Daniel was pissed to say the least when he saw the photos of you and his dongsaengs out at a cafe, especially the one with you being all sweet and tender to Woojin. He did clear the air of confusion by mentioning that 'Y/N is they’re good friend and like a big sister to them. Don’t be mean to her or to Woojin and Jihoon.' 

Why wouldn’t you tell him you were free? Did you not want to see him? Why would she go out with them and not me? He wondered. 

He decided to text you.

Daniel: hi babe, had to clear some confusion abt pics of u and the boys? where are you? Let’s go get dinner tgt. 😊 

6.19 pm 

Y/N: so sorry abt those!! And yes, I’m treating all of you to dinner today, pizza is on its way. I’m otw back to the house with Woojin and Jihoon.

Daniel: ahh, you’re the sweetest. Thank you so much jagi! You know I love you 😍

Y/N: I love you too. Enjoy the pizza first if it has arrived already :) 

"Daniel hyung! Y/N noona sent us pizza? Is it?” Guanlin yelled. Daniel shouted his response and there were cheers from the boys. He couldn’t bring himself to be happy, as much as he knew you wouldn’t do anything with his dongsaengs, he wasn’t sure why you wouldn’t want to hang out with him. It was very strange you were growing so close to those two. 

Whatever. Just go downstairs and eat.

“Yay! Thank you Y/N!” Daehwi exclaimed, rushing over to hug you the second you were through the front door. 

“Yah! Manners, Daehwi!” Minhyun called out. 

You dismissed the lack of formalities and hugged Daehwi anyways. It brought a smile to your face to see how happy your friends were, beaming, skin glowing and stuffing their faces with pizza. You sat down beside Daniel and grinned at him. He fed you a slice of your favourite immediately, smiling cheekily. 

“Aww…” Guanlin started taking notes, he better if he wanted to ( steal ) win over Jihoon’s heart from Jinyoung. He also took pictures to upload to the official social medias. 

The night was off to a good start and you hoped it would end on a high note but Daniel could only keep his emotions bottled up for so long.

You received an untimely call from Daniel when you and your roommates were heading out to meet Woojin and Jihoon. They were shrieking excitedly but sweating with anxiety. 

“Hello? Daniel?" 

"Hi Y/N! Are you available today? Let’s go out!” He sounded so sweet and excited you’d hate to turn him down. 

“Uh, sorry babe. I’m-I’m going out with my roommates today,” you said apologetically. Technically, it wasn’t a lie and you were leaving as soon as they had acquainted. 

“Oh, it’s okay! I’ll call you before you sleep tonight, okay? See you later babe, have fun!" 

"Bye, love you." 

I can surprise him with his favourite coffee later! I’m sure he’s at the studio. He’ll be so delighted! 

Your roommates fiddled nervously, repeatedly asking you if they looked presentable. There wasn’t much time anyways, you called a taxi and it sped off to that coffee house that Daniel loved.

Your roommates excused themselves before they had even take one step into the cafe and dashed to the bathroom. 

What a pain. 

You went over and sat with Woojin and Jihoon who were both occupied with their phones. "Hey,” you started. 

They smiled in response, not offering any other words. It appeared that they were anxious too, Woojin was just rearranging the apps on his phone by colour. Eventually, you got them to stop and actually communicate. 

“Noona…I’m nervous,” Woojin confessed, grabbing your hands. “Are my hands cold?" 

"No! Noona,” Jihoon smacked Woojin’s hands anyway from yours and pressed one to his face. “Is my skin smooth enough? I did a face mask yesterday in preparation." 

You sighed, giggling at their cuteness, you pinched their cheeks. "Ahh, both of you are sooo handsome! I’ll be back.” You turned around and your jaw dropped.

Daniel stood in the line to order. But his face had a look that you would never forget, he was hurt, he looked so betrayed. 

Your roommates emerged, whispering and laughing but stopped when they saw the scene. Jihoon still waved to them.

“Dan-”

Daniel didn’t utter a word, he didn’t even bother to pay for his order. He dropped his head, burning bright red and stormed out of the shop. 

You knew where he was going, and he would need time to calm down so you hurriedly paid for his drink and dashed out after him. He was long gone by the time you were on the street but you ran in the direction of the YMC branch. He would be in his workroom.

You heard him before you even took a step into that corridor. He was crying and yelling some incoherent words to someone. 

Seongwoo? 

Jisung? 

You waited outside and ducked out of view when they came out of the room. It wasn’t clear who it was but you entered the room anyways. 

“Daniel…oppa." 

"Go away! I don’t want to see you right now!” He managed to shout despite his tears. 

“Yah, I’m not leaving until you’re okay. What did I do?” You took a seat next to him, rubbing his back soothingly. He didn’t fight you off yet didn’t seem to welcome your touch either. 

“Why would you do that? How could you betray me?”

“I’m sorry I didn’t spend much time with you." 

"Yah! I know you like either of them. Who is it? Jihoon? Or Woojin?" 

You had to bite your tongue to stop yourself from laughing. Seriously? You wouldn’t go for someone who was like your younger brother. "Daniel, I don’t want any of them. They’re my brothers, you’re my boyfriend. Don’t think like that. The three of us just click very well and they treat me like their older sister. Why would you think like that?” you questioned. 

Daniel wiped his face free of tears before continuing. “Why else would you lie to me when I called you?" 

He had a point. 

"Ahh, I did go out with my roommates. In fact, I was trying to play matchmaker for those two. Two of my roommates needed boyfriends, two of my younger brothers needed girlfriends. How could I not?” You responded. “Oppa, don’t cry anymore. I’m all yours.” You pressed a tissue gently to his delicate face. “Wow. So handsome, and all mine." 

Daniel tackled you into the warmest hug you had ever gotten. "I’m sorry Y/N, I’m sorryimsorryimsorry." 

"Hey, it’s okay. Don’t apologise, it’s just how you feel. I’m glad you let me know…even if you did dampen my shirt. Wait! I haven’t finished drying your tears.” Your hands cupped his face, wiping it clean with a fresh, soft and sweet-smelling wet tissue. “Oh my god, my boyfriend is so good-looking. God bless.”

Daniel finally cracked a smile and kissed you on the lips. “I’m sorry I was being petty and insecure,” he apologised but you clamped a hand over his mouth. “I can’t hear that! Stop apologising! Just remember that I’m your girlfriend no matter what. Now that Jihoon and Woojin are busy with their new friends, you have me all the time. All day. All night,” you affirmed. 

“In that case, let me help you play matchmaker for them. Okay?" 

"Is that all you want to do?” ( he wants to do you ) you teased. “It seems like everything revolves around the boys." 

"Yah! Okay, okay, we’ll do something you like." 

"Nah. Even if it’s the weirdest, dumbest thing. I’m happy doing it with you." 

"You know that’s one of the reasons I love you right?"

So we venting because I gotta type all this shit out so that I can get over it or something u know? Ok so. Vent undercut!

I had this friend who I never rlly felt like I could state my opinion with. They're rlly opinionated and a few times if I had an opinion they didn't agree with they would just not talk to me for like a day or two. We were in this group chat, and I'd be active in the group chat and I'd see them reading my texts and never responding despite them being one of the people who responded pretty normally most of the time. Obviously people can just be busy sometimes but it happened a lot after they disagreed with me and I feel like most of the time they were just ghosting me. So basically I agreed with them on a lot of things I didn't rlly agree on, and I'd put a lot of thought into some texts because some times I just didn't know what kind of things might make them ghost me. It honestly made me feel like shit a lot of the time and I never brought it up because what if they just ghosted me? And they're friends with a lot of my friends so I'm thinking "wow what if this makes them hate me, and then our friends decide they'd choose them over me, etc." and I didn't want to lose all my friends! Especially when we're all in college and don't see each other as much. Admittedly I should not have to worry that my friends will choose someone over me. But I'm anxious about it so I'm preparing for the worst. So I stay quiet about these things.

But a month or maybe a month and half ago, my mother volunteers me to babysit some kids. And I'm in the group chat like "I don't like kids why would I get volunteered for this, don't get me wrong I wouldn't be an asshole to kids but I'd like to avoid them." To which they disagree with me. Obviously they think it's pretty shitty of me to not like kids. I've gotten this a lot and I'm over it. I'm like. I'm not an asshole to kids. I think they're annoying and don't like looking after them and don't want any kids. But I know it's not they're fault their kids! I'm not gonna be rude to kids just because they're kids. But I still don't like them! I say this in the group chat but this friend ain't rlly having it so they don't talk to me for the day or whatever and I'm still going about my business like I normally would. But the time passes and I'm like. Nah fuck it. I'm sick of being ghosted. So in retaliation, I ghost them. I was like if ur gonna ghost me all the time I will simply ghost u back! And at the time I was upset with another friend in the group chat so I left the group chat. I didn't talk to the original friend at all, though I easily expressed my feelings to the other one and every thing was fine with them.

After a week this friend comes and dms me and apologizes for disagreeing with me about kids. This isn't the main reason I'm not talking to them, but they're actually apologizing and that's wild. As I said before they're rlly opinionated so I feel like they wouldn't often apologize for having different opinions. So I go back to the group chat and everything's fine for like a day.

But then they're just not responding to anything for awhile. I'm thinking. Well I didn't do anything wrong.... must be a personal problem? They're posting on their Snapchat story that they're crying a ton and so I dm them I'm like. "Hey idk how to show u I rlly do care about u other than saying I think u should talk to someone." I'm rlly trying to help! But they snap at me in response! They're like "what makes you think I'm not talking to people" and I'm really trying to be more open with them so I let them know, I say I feel like they aren't usually the kind of person to talk about what's bothering them and they tell me they are talking to people and I'm like. Ok then. Sorry for trying u know??? And then they go back to not saying anything.

A few days pass and they go in the group chat accusing me and another friend of vaguing about them on twitter. They had posted something about kpop fans never shutting up on their tumblr, and around that time I had posted on twitter saying that I never shut up about things way before I got into kpop. I had posted this because my dad was complaining about it and I was sick of it. But someone sent them an anon on tumblr saying that that's just how all fandoms are, and they thought I was the anon! So they stalked me on twitter (they never followed me so they wouldn't have seen my post otherwise) and concluded that I must've seen their tumblr post, sent them an anon, and then vagued about it on twitter. I don't follow them on tumblr so I didn't even see the post until they brought it up in the group chat.

But still they're accusing me of this. I tell them I wasn't vaguing about them, it was in fact about my family, etc. they're saying it's too much of a coincidence. But I didn't vague! So what am I gonna do?? I'm not gonna apologize because I blatantly didn't do anything? Not to mention they brought it up in the group chat. There were two other people in that group chat that had nothing to do with the whole situation, but this friend decided it was "their right to know the whole story" like. What? But they have nothing to do with it? But ok.

Anyway my other friend admits that she was vaguing, and they have their own argument, and then the original friend says we all need to change.

Like. I still never did anything wrong and I simply don't see how I need to change? So I say I have nothing to change and everything ends there and it's like. Ok awkward ig. But things eventually continue as normal in the group chat, except they seem to refuse to say almost anything to me.

A week passed and I'm like. I'm sick of this fr and I text them like "anyway do u hate me now??" And they're like "I don't hate u but I need some space and we both need to work hard but u said u don't need to change so it'll be awhile before we can become friends again" (ofc I am paraphrasing this all so take that how u will). I'm like. Wym I need to change? I didn't do anything wrong??? Ur the one who accused me of vaguing when I didn't??? Ur the one who ghosted all the time??? They're like "how was I supposed to know you weren't vaguing about me?" And "I was saying we all need to change so that we can all be more honest with each other and open with each other" like. Any time I wasn't honest with you I was just agreeing with you so that you wouldn't ghost me but okay I'm definitely one of the people at fault for not being able to trust each other. I STILL don't know what they mean "we need to be more open and honest with each other" like? Any other time I was open and honest with them??? But also they're like "you ghosted me for a week because we argued about kids" and then they accused me of saying they weren't important enough for me to think about! Okay I NEVER did that?? And I have a friend who agreed they don't remember me ever saying that. The most I might've said is "not everything's about you" harsh perhaps but! Not what they claimed I said. Not to mention I didn't ghost you for a week because of kids I ghosted you because I was sick of you ghosting me! But ok! Anyway they go on to say that "if we can't figure this out without fighting then we shouldn't be friends" Pretty much all I've done is defend myself against ur accusations and say I don't need to change because I don't. But like ok! I'm like. I never said you weren't important and I'm justified in my ghosting! They did that shit and just had everything go back to normal so many times I think I can be mad once okay. Im rlly like. U know what I've been a good friend??? And I don't think I need to change and this is ur loss. They're rlly like "I didn't say u weren't allowed to get mad but ur getting on my case for ghosting when u just did the exact same thing" like yeah me doing it once in retaliation to ALL the times you did it is definitely equal to u doing it over any disagreement..... ok! They were like "I've swallowed my pride and apologized" and I'm like. Honestly? U've hardly apologized u've been a shitty friend and I'm glad u think u need to change because u rlly fuckin do and I hope ur able to do that for ur friends in the future! So we ain't friends anymore and I'm not in that group chat!

But rlly y'all?? They're behavior was lowkey reminding me of this bitch of a toxic ass friend I had for a bit and due to the aftermath of that friendship I tried to kill myself so like?

But again the problem here is like. We still have mutual friends and I would never expect them to choose between us two or anything but. They've known each other a lot longer and I've never had friends for a long time due to having to move around a lot as a kid and stuff and I'm just sick of losing friends and being lonely y'all,

But I stood up for myself for once! jokes on me I stand up for myself one (1) time and everything goes to shit huh.

Anyway is this rant considering vaguing??? Smh they blocked me so I doubt they'd see it but. It's not vague enough to be vaguing and even if it was who cares I feel like I'm allowed to vent about it by now. On no I told all two followers about this, how terrible of me.
