Karito had abandoned his post briefly, coming back to where Eddie and Steppenwolf were, "huh-he wants to know how muh-much longer." [poorly-drawn-akira]

Eddie jumped back a little bit, surprised by Karito's presence.

"Relax. We'll be there in about an hour or two."

Karito yawned as he stretched across the bench in the window. Even at night, the heat had been unbearable. [poorly-drawn-akira]

There had been a slight knock on Kaito's door.

Karito cautiously entered the room Darius was in. He was very anxious, but he didn't quite know why. [ask-a-guard-dog Aiutante au]

Darius turns over to Karito. “Ah, what do you want boy?”

Karito's sleep had been peaceful only for a moment. He slowly became fitful, "n- nuh-noooorr..." kicking and twitching in his sleep.

Karito was excitedly searching the mansion. He'd heard and sensed another person around recently. New friend! Excitement! Wow! He just needed to figure out where they were! [ask-a-guard-dog]

Aiutante is roused from his nap by the sound of excited commotion and approaching narration.

…This is a new voice.

He slips out of bed and carefully approaches the guest room door, then presses an ear against it to get a better read of the narration.

Daisy was nursing a rather nasty looking bite when she threw Karito in with Circus. She didn't say anything else past mumbling about "these things are always the same." [ask-a-guard-dog]

Seeing the boy get tossed, Circus finally moves, letting him slam against the serpent section before gently curling and shielding him. When Diasy leaves, he finally uncurls.

"Are...you okay?"

"luh-lady ethyl... yuh-you shouldn't tuh-talk to them, we nuh-need to lay low..." [ask-a-guard-dog]

"Karito, you're right, but... Something keeps drawing me in. I can't put my finger on the feeling, though. I'm unsure of what to do..."

It only took Jiro a few seconds from being pet by Karito to decide that screaming his lungs out was the only appropriate course of action he could take. He wasn't sure what it would accomplish for him, there clearly wasn't anyone around for miles, just the massive mansion looming in the distance. [poorly-drawn-akira]

As the moon would continue to shine, the groups arrival manor grew closer. Eddie saw the damn thing in the distance, and it definitely felt like it was the home of some inhuman entity. He felt cold.

Meanwhile Steppenwolf wasn't going to have Jiro screaming. "Karito, mind shutting him up?"

Karito paced around the mansion for the fifth time that morning. The chimera had grown restless in the weeks following his recovery from the last mission. [poorly-drawn-akira]

"You seem lively." Shabh comments as he noticed Karito.

Karito sprinted excitedly up to the gate as someone appro- Karito stopped about ten feet back and stared at the figure on the other side. [poorly-drawn-akira]

"Just got back, puppy." The malevolent spirit says as he stared at Karito from the other side. "Though I didn't return empty handed"

Karito stumbled out of his room. The poor thing was still completely out of it. [poorly-drawn-akira]

Aeleus took notice of the stumbling young lad exiting his room and quickly approached him. "Woah, kid!"

"a-a-" Karito jolted awake in a cold sweat. [poorly-drawn-akira]

Darius also ends up jolting awake, his ears twitching a bit. "Wha?"

Karito paced proudly into where the rest of the Troupe was meeting. He grinned ear to ear. He had his own clothes, a simple tunic of white linen and dark purple shorts of the same material. [poorly-drawn-akira]

Darius takes a moment to stop the conversation that he and each of the troupe members were having the moment he senses Karito. "Ah, how's you're more versatile attire?"

And from there, Darius just stays with him. He gets onto the end of the bed as well, and just lays himself out there, close Karito.

About a month later, a light shined down on the dark area that the chimera was held. - Darius Brando (Part 5) (Ask-spw-mercenary)

The chimera didn't move from the corner he had settled in a few days ago.

He barely lifted his head to see who came in. His eyes were dull, lifeless in the brief second he looked up at Darius before immediately being forced to look away from the sudden bright light.
