Stefan Salvatore X Male!Reader
Word Count: 1023
Requested: Anon
Request: Hi, I don't know if you still write for tvd, if not ignore me! but could you doa stefan x male reader where him and stefan are in a great relationship and maybe silas tricks you into thinking he's stefan? Could you make reader a vamp as well? -🐺
Tumblr media
Stefan had spent a lot of time chasing after Elena, so much time that he didn’t even notice you at first, the one male friends that all the girls loved to hang around with, to him you were just another in the group, it was after everything settled down that you got closer, no one was really sure when the dynamic changed for the two of you. When you were turned into a vampire after one of Katherine’s rampage through Mystic Falls Stefan became even more protective of you. Stefan was the one to teach you how to control your new abilities and help you get used to the animal blood instead of human blood. The heightened emotions were what you really struggled with and that was where the official relationship started, you ended up accidentally confessing to him and he accepted the feelings.
You were a sickeningly sweet couple, while everyone else was arguing, breaking up and getting back together you were both happy and stable. The evening before everyone went off to go and look for the cure, you had been sitting in the living room with him, your head rested on his shoulder as his hand ran through your (short/long) hair. “What would you think if I wanted to be human again?” Stefan asked suddenly, you looked at him for a second and shrugged. “It’s your choice right, it doesn’t matter what I think… But for the record I’d be sad that I’d have to lose you one day.” You explained. “Would you ever go back to being human?” He asked. “I would love to do that but as far as we know there was only one cure right?” You asked. “Mmm.” He hummed as he rested his cheek against the top of your head. “If I have you I wouldn’t mind staying like this for a little while longer.” “God you two are sickening.” Damon grumbled as you jumped, Stefan making a noise of disapproval before tightening his grip on your coaxing you to relax. “Go and mope somewhere else Damon.” Stefan ordered before pressing a kiss to your forehead. “This room is occupied.”
You had decided to stay back in case anything happened in town while the others were gone, so you had no idea what had happened, everyone had gathered at Elena’s house but no one had tried contacting you yet. Oblivious to any danger and a reassuring message from Stefan only a few hours earlier kept you patient, you turned in the kitchen coming face to face with Stefan “Oh! You didn’t message to say you were on the way home.” You smiled as you walked over, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Are you okay?” You asked. “Everything is fine.” He answered, wrapping an arm around you, something didn’t feel right, you don’t know if your face gave you away one second he was holding you and the next he hand flung you across the room, with what seemed to be magic. “You're not Stefan.” You pushed yourself onto your knees, you could hear him breaking something behind you but before you could even move he drove the wood through your stomach. “Don’t worry I don’t want to kill you just yet.” He said softly as he pushed the stake further into your stomach. “Well unless they’re too busy to find you, then it’s no one's fault but their own.” He stood looking down at you. “I see why he chose you, I would have too.” He said before stepping over you and walking towards the front door, he pressed his hand to the door frame lighting it on fire before disappearing from sight.
Stefan was at Elena’s house, she was still waiting for Jeremy to wake up, something they all knew was not going to happen. His phone ringing brought him out of his thoughts, he saw your name pop up and immediately felt bad, someone should have called you “I’m sorry we meant to call- What’s that sound? (Y/N)?” He asked. “The…House… I can’t… Move-” You wheezed, you were struggling and he didn’t know why, he was sure that he could hear fire, he needed to get back to you. “Hold on, I’m coming.” He turned to leave the house Caroline close behind him. “Bonnie and Damon can stay here with Elena, we can check on (Y/N).” Caroline said, he nodded as they both headed out.
By the time that they got back to your house, it was already engulfed in flames “where is he?” Caroline asked. “Inside.” Stefan said. “You can’t go in there!” Caroline grabbed his arm as he stepped forward. “I’m not leaving him there!” Stefan snatched his arm from her running into the house “(Y/N)!” There was a crash from the kitchen. He moved quickly, they only had so long before neither of you would be able to get out, he spotted you on the floor, he could see the stake in your stomach and lifted you, you grunted. “I know I’m sorry, we’ll get that out as soon as we get out here.” From there he was careful to navigate out of the house carrying you close to his chest, Caroline waiting for you both. “Is he okay!?” She asked. “He will be.” Stefan muttered. “Alright sweetheart, I have to get this out, you have to hold on to Caroline’s hand while I pull this out okay?” “Mm.” You hummed, the chair leg was easy to pull out, he gripped the edge pulling it out fast and throwing across the road as if it burned him, he cradled you to his chest as you started to heal. “He looked just like you.” “Who did?” Stefan asked. “The one that attacked me, he looked just like you and he was using magic.” You explained. “Just rest, I’ll be right here the whole time, I won’t leave I promise, we’ll talk about this in the morning.” Stefan said, standing to walk back towards the boarding house for you to rest, he was sure that Damon could deal with Elena on his own for a few hours.

Note
Hello! This is your autumn exchange gifter! So, I've been thinking about your request and am very excited. I've never tried to think of a different meeting or how canon would change if Caroline hadn't been in Mystic Falls at all, so it's been a fun thought experiment.
First, do you have any other characters you especially love or hate? Do you have any hard pass themes or content I should stay away from? Any bits from the shows you'd especially like me to try to fold in or ignore completely?
Second, are you married to the exact scenario you laid out in your request? I do have a very vague alternate idea for Caroline as a vampire hunter, but it's a little weird and definitely in its infant stages. But I also have some thoughts about Bill (possibly with Steven and his daughter) being the one to stay in MF as sheriff and the reasons why Liz and Caroline would have had to go.
Third, if you had to choose a setting, would you prefer MF or New Orleans or Salem, MA or somewhere else entirely? New Orleans would end up including some of the same characters as The Originals, but I probably wouldn't write the baby plot in, unless you really want it there. Salem would end up being more spooky season themed and MF would probably be more of a family thing involving Bill's death.
Fourth, do you still want Caroline to be a vampire? I don't usually write her as a normal human, because I'm here for the supernatural stuff, but I can give it a shot if you're interested in that. There's the hunter thing, but do you have objections to her being a witch instead? Some other kind of supernatural creature? It's not what I'm leaning towards, but if that's something you would enjoy, I won't try to keep it strictly vampire Caroline if I think of something else.
Fifth, what level of Klaus do you like? S2 magnificent bastard Klaus or S3/4 slightly relaxed Klaus or TO unhinged mess Klaus?
This is a lot of questions. Please feel free to take your time and/or not answer all of them! Totally valid to not have strong feelings about any of this.
Omg hi! First off, thank you so much for writing this note to me! I'm speechless!! So, to answer in order:
First, I'm not a fan of Damon - if S1's events happened as canon. If not then I'm a fan. Stefan is great. I love love Katherine and Bonnie. Elena was great in her S1-S3 characterization. I don't have any problems with anyone else. Not a fan of the miracle babies storylines.
Second, I'm not completely fixed on my request. I've never considered a MF where Bill was Sherriff, how would that change canon? Damon and Bill already didn't get along and they were in the same room maybe two times? I don't see Bill changing his whole worldview the way that Liz did. If Liz and Caroline left MF, where would they end up?
Third, Oh this is tough one, Caroline coming back to MF for Bill's funeral is one of my fav stories to read! How old is she? Is it still canon time-line and have the S3 storylines been happening? I'll leave that up to you!
Fourth, I don't tend to read Caroline as any other creature (a few where she is a werewolf/hybrid but those are outliers), so Vampire!Caroline is good to go! I'm not too pick, if we see her turn in the story or not.
Fifth, S2/beginning of S3 is peak Klaus, he's just a little shit and he knows it lol.
Sixth, YOU ARE AWESOME! Seriously thank you so much for sending me this. You rock.

title: Moonfire - (Star Wars/Gargoyles) Ahsoka Tano/Angela (or Ahsoka Tano & Angela also works)
(regarding this fic title meme prompt)
After rotating this notion in my head SO MUCH, I’ve finally pinned down how I’d want this to play out.
So Angela and her rookery-sibs grew up on the mystical isle of Avalon, right? The once-home of all the fey, ruled by Oberon and Titania. For the sake of the premise, we’re going to presume that these kids grew up with some weird shit. Not just the garden variety weird shit like cupboards of food that never empty or flower gardens that rearrange their hedge maze depending on the day of the week; we’re talking ‘the island removed the entire southern beach again and replaced it with a giant snowglobe scene, snowglobe included – oh and it is ALSO fully temperature controlled. We are probably not getting that beachball back any time soon’ levels of shenanigans.
At some point, one of the kids finds a dry, mostly useless book in the back of the library with exhaustive details about the island’s features (they do learn how to work the hedge maze, though, which everyone appreciates). Somewhere in the book is a section for Transitory Features, and includes something called a Bridge Of Moonfire. There’s nothing useful, like where it is or what it looks like, just how it returns every eighty-seventh five-quarters moon or something equally absurd for ‘a short time’ and an anecdote about a fey lady who once traversed it and was never seen again.
So the kids are warned to not use it, whatever it is, should they ever see it.
Of course, one night while out gliding with at least one of her sibs, out of nowhere across a lake/pond/grassy area spawns this silvery-white glowing path. ‘Bridge’ isn’t the word that comes to mind, but it doesn’t take too much poetic license to figure out what it is. The gargoyles swing wide of it, but Angela is curious. She warns the others to stay back, then very cautiously moves in for a fly-over from what should be plenty of safe distance. And yet, the moment she passes over the bridge of light, it curves up so she lands on it hard. With a fwoom-swoosh, the light and Angela disappear.
She comes to in a strange castle, and the landscape that is utterly foreign. She explores carefully, until she finally stumbles upon a living being. There’s a strange girl ahead of her, orange with a blue and white crest (no wings or tail, poor thing, but what could she be BUT another gargoyle?) - and there’s an uncanny little gremlin with very large, sharp teeth about to leap out at her. Of course Angela lunges to bodycheck the surprisingly hefty critter away, but it bounces off the wall and rebounds at them, scary teeth first.
There’s a fwoom-swoosh, and the girl bisects the critter with two glowing swords. She faces Angela in what must be a guard position, and all Angela can think of to say is, “how do you have moonfire blades?”
Ahsoka doesn’t know what to say to that, and she’s already had QUITE enough of this Mortis bullshit without having a pretty girl come out of nowhere to save her from she really doesn’t know what. But this pretty girl with wings seems even more clueless about what’s going on than they do (instead of annoyingly all-knowing and cryptic and RUDE), so she accepts Angela’s help. The whole Mortis debacle goes sideways, Anakin does not have further Super-Trauma piled upon his head, and they all escape relatively unscathed and Having Learned Something About Themselves.
Angela goes with them, of course, and embraces life in the Republic. Somehow this leads to Palpatine tripping fatally down the stairs or whatever, and later on Angela is introduced to Jedi Master Fey who is very surprised but eager to hear any news about her long-ago home.
(“Oberon exiled EVERYONE from Avalon in a snitfit to learn about humanity. OBERON. Thought everyone ELSE needed to learn about humans. UGH.” Master Fey rolls her eyes. “This sort of ridiculous drama is why I did not hesitate to leave.”)
And everyone lives happily ever after.

Hellsite Nostalgia Tour 2023 Day 244
Into the Mystic/Under the Lake
“Into the Mystic”
Plot Description: Sam and Dean encounter a being that seems to drive its victims insane with its ghastly wails before devouring their brains
Would I Survive the First Five Minutes??: I don’t know what this being’s motivation is, but if I’m susceptible, I’m a goner
Oh Dean…how wrong you are about Cas. He’s not fine, he almost never is
This poor angel, thinks he’s got some big score finding Cas……..honey, you’ve got a big storm comin. Mmm, he actually does know it’s Lucifer. Misha’s gotta be having so much fun playing Lucifer
Dean makes the world’s worst dad jokes but I laugh every time. The latest victim they’re investigating was stealing viagra from other residents of the seniors home where he lived, and Dean goes “I know, what a dick move” and just waits for Sam to laugh. Sweetie, I’d laugh at your jokes
I think this is literally the first time one of the boys asked the other if the other is ok and they said no. You know what that is? Growth. They’re not gonna actually talk about it but at least they’re honest about it being bad
The fact that the episode started in Ireland does make me believe that its some sort of banshee offshoot. (Sometimes I love being right)
TWIST!!! The staff member Sam talked to earlier is not who he thought she was and might actually be the granddaughter of one of the residents (could she be the baby from the first five minutes?? That would tie up that loose end because I truly can’t see why we’d have that opening without it) she’s a hunter??
Knew it!! I’m so good at being right about this…or this show is very predictable
Lucifer is surprisingly good at being Cas.
This old woman the boys think the banshee is coming after next is a fucking delight. She’s signing to the other hunter that she has dibs on Dean and the other hunter can have Sam…saying she’s not much of a mountain climber anymore. Hello, ma’am? Do you know I would die for you?
I love the boys getting older. I love that they are discussing which of the Golden Girls they had the hots for growing up (Dean had a thing for Blanche, and Sam liked Sophia, if anyone was wondering)
Luci’s so proud of himself for tricking Dean into thinking he’s actually Cas
Honestly and truthfully, I swear…when Dean makes a genuine human connection with someone where he’s getting more than he’s giving, it’s really beautiful. Like, yea, he’s here to literally protect Mildred’s life, but the life lessons she’s giving him are really, really beautiful. Anyone who convinces Dean he wants to live is just…I’m gonna cry.
Noooooo, it’s not after Mildred. The banshee is after Deeeeeeeeeeean.
That was a nice ending. The hunter got her revenge on the banshee, Mildred was instrumental in saving Dean
I totally forgot there was the conversation about Dean’s connection or attraction or whatever to Amara. My brain went directly to Cas when Mildred said she knew Dean was pining for someone else
I’m glad they got the conversation out how Sam should have looked for Dean when he was in purgatory. Dean’s put it behind him but Sam’s never forgiven himself til now
But for real…why DID it go after Dean? What kind of vulnerable is he?? Is it emotionally?
“Under the Lake”
Plot Description: the Doctor and Clara try to help when an underwater base comes under attack
I just feel like what’s on the floor of large bodies of water should stay there undisturbed. Call me crazy, but maybe we don’t take strange crafts we find at the bottom of the ocean into our also underwater base. This is feeling a little Oceangate-y
It’s actually feeling like Oceangate, Silence in the Library, and Satan Pit all wrapped in one
It’s the “scientists (plus maybe some rich asshole funding the exploration) find something somewhere they shouldn’t be and get picked off one by one” plot…istg if the rich asshole is the only one making it out alive with the Doctor and Clara, I’ll scream
It’s also a “the TARDIS decided they would come here” plot, which to be fair is a fair number of them
Well, I suppose it’s a good thing that the physical objects the ghosts carry can’t go through walls wit them
What an odd coincidence that both of today’s episodes featured a deaf character. I wonder if she can read lips…which I only really say because these ghosts are saying something no one is capable of deciphering, especially through sound. But if this character has experience reading lips, she’s going to be instrumental to saving everyone
Omg…one, of course the rich asshole character is in the oil business, and of course the deaf character is next in command after the guy who died and became a ghost……did…that
OR WHAT IF ITS LIKE THE GHOSTS FROM THE CHARLES DICKENS EPISODE
This one woman on the crew just really loves watching the Doctor monologue. Just, like, in a “this man is one of my heroes and I’ve heard so much about him and everything he does and I’m finally in his presence and I get to experience it for myself” way
Not flash cards reminding the Doctor how to show empathy and compassion 💀
You know it’s bad when the Winchester brothers are being more open about their emotions and problems to each other than the Doctor and his companion😐
OH HELL YEAH!!! Rich asshole got picked off next
This poor man was not cut out for ghost hunting
God. For a second I thought they were really going to kill off the interpreter
Ok FINE. This operation is not as ill thought out as Oceangate
I hate these stupid sunglasses
Remember…no, I was about to take back this operation being better than Oceangate, but who would have accounted for ghosts? I mean, honestly. Aliens, sure, but ghosts?? The whole base is flooding because the ghosts have rigged some kind of thing on a thing in the base
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE TARDIS WONT GO NEAR THE GHOSTS
TWO TWO PARTERS IN A ROW? I don’t mind the occasional two parter, but this is kind of ridiculous….and actually, if you skip over the Christmas special, it was three in a row. What are we doing?!
We end with the Doctor going into the past before the flood that created this lake and leaving Clara at the base with part of the crew, but oh no, what’s that? The Doctor is one of the ghosts now?
Just tell a more contained story! I don’t want to wait til Fridayyyyyy

personally i headcannon it has to do with the fact that Jo knew enough about shelia bennett to go to her for help, and so theoretically Kai would know her, too.
i picture him staying in Portland for a while thinking surely someone would come back for him but after a few years of nothing he gets sick of living in the blood covered house and leaves to explore.
he roams for a while, we canonically know about his time visiting restaurants and the eventual cycle of attempting to end his life again and again.
i like to think that there's some innate connection to the outside world even if it doesn't register to him, so he ends up following Jo across america to settle in/around mystic falls. i imagine he spends a lot of his time studying magic since it wasn't encouraged growing up, and visiting shelia's house to see her grimoires would be an important stop while he's in the area. maybe thats how he finds out that he needs a bennett witch to do the spell and he ends up lingering there because it's nicer than going back to the empty family home.
but if you don't vibe with the twin thing logic then it tracks to assume some witchy intuition let him know other people had arrived and he quickly went after them. i feel like most fics i read use this logic, so he was off somewhere else in the world and felt a witchy tingle and zipped over to VA to check it out. you're right tho, they do a shit job of making it make sense. just some simple info on WHY he's in mystic falls at the same time would solve a world of issues. otherwise, they should have found the paper and road-tripped to Portland thinking the story about the murders was a clue and found him over there instead.
as for why damon doesn't HEAR HIS HEART BEATING lmao it annoys me so much i have to pretend it's not a thing. i have to just lie to myself and be like "it's fine, it's tv, it's FINE" because 100% damon should hear him breathing, or eating, or his heart frantically racing every time he looks at bon-bon. i can make excuses that bonnie's magic is on the fritz and so maybe she feels like she's being watched but she writes it off as paranoia. but damon not hearing him?? come on.
just a small add on tho that has always annoyed me, there ARE objects in the world that have magic. we know this because Jos knife is still waiting in the tree stump, and bonnie ends up absorbing the magic from the bloody rock over in nova scotia. so i would head cannon kai has gone around and plucked up every little thing he could possibly find with a magical signature, giving himself a steady supply to work with when he needs it. as i said i would think practicing and learning more about magic would be important to him, since his ultimate goal is becoming coven leader but also because it would be a way for him to find a way to escape. this would have been such an easy way for them to allow him to use a cloaking spell to hide ?? like, i know they just assumed we wouldn't think about it this hard but all i do is think about kai lmao
wow this got so long sorry 😂🙈
TVD reflection :
I have a question, I mean, two questions :
-> How did Kai know that Bonnie and Damon were in the prison world ?
I mean, technically Kai was sent to a prison world by his family. So I suppose that when he got sent to the prison world he was sent to the same place he was in beforehand. Like, he kind of disappeared then reappeared at his family place but without anyone around, I guess. There is no way he would have appeared at the Salvatore place because that makes no sense. So how did he know ? Like did he feel it ? Can he feel he's not alone anymore and he just followed that feeling and then he finally spotted them somewhere ? I mean that's weird but that would be a thing if his witchy senses were able to tell him he wasn't alone. And it would make sense that Damon and Bonnie didn't feel it in the first place. Because the were sent to a prison world together so they were already sensing each other presence so why not.
And you cannot just tell me that Kai was traveling around because he has nothing else to do and he just bumped into them like from a distance. I know TV shows are made of coincidences, because without that, there's a lot of things that would never happen. But that's too much of a coincidence ! He's spent almost 2 decades in that place. He could be anywhere on the globe ! And you want me to think he would be traveling to Mystic Falls at the exact moment Bonnie and Damon happen to appear ? Don't fuck with coincidences please, make it make sense a little bit.
The other thing that's bugging me is :
How did they never feel that Kai was here ?
I mean, if Bonnie didn't feel it, okay why not. But Damon ? He is supposed to feel things, feel that people are here, thanks to his vampire senses. And you cannot tell me that Kai was using a cloacking spell ! He's not supposed to have any magic. He has magic in the sense that he is a siphon, but with nothing to siphon from, he cannot use magic. Even if before being sent to the prison word he had a bit of magic in his system because he had siphoned someone just before.... It's been 18 years. 18 years later you're not going to tell me he still has that magic in him. And clearly he doesn't, because the whole point of when he meets Damon and Bonnie for real is that he's doing that awful thing to Damon in order for Bonnie to get her magic back by triggering it ! Because he NEEDS her to have her magic back ! So technically he cannot have used a cloacking spell. So when he was spying on Damon and Bonnie, Damon is supposed to have sensed him ! So that doesn't make any sense ! Surew I like the thing about the cross words puzzle, but it does not make any sense that they did not spot him anywhere before. Even if he was hiding in the house, spying on them.... I don't know like, if Bonnie didn't spot him okay right again why not. But still, Damon is supposed to know he's here ! Supposed to feel his presence. At least he would have heard his heart beating or his blood pumping in his veins !
Kai couldn't use a cloacking spell because he didn't have the powers to do it at the moment and even if he was hiding to spy on them, Damon should have been able to sense him !
There sure is a way to explain this and they should have done it because that bugs me.
Maybe I am missing something. Maybe it has been explained in the show and I don't remember. Or it has been explained by the writers.
Please enlighten me !
I am going crazy.
Thank you.

hello i have a request from headcanons about being katherine pierce's little sister and klaus having a crush on you
what being katherine pierce's little sister and klaus having a crush on you would be like...
klaus masterlist
the beginning:
watching your sister be disowned from your family after having a baby out of wedlock caused your heart to break, knowing it was unfair of her to be punished for one small mistake
so, you fled to england with her, leaving your outraged family without two of their daughters in bulgaria
this leads to you and katherine to end up in a rather fancy birthday celebration for the "lord niklaus"
katherine is in awe of your potentially new social standing, taking in the sights of the party with the man of honour
whereas you are in the back corner somewhere praying to god that nobody comes to talk to you
after some time katherine approaches you saying she's ready to leave, but first she has to say goodbye to elijah. you tell her you'll wait for her outside
as you're waiting for your sister, the man of honour approaches you
"i'm afraid we haven't met," he says, his hands crossed behind his back
"that may have something to do with the fact that you've been spending all your time with my beloved sister, katerina"
“perhaps i should have been making your acquaintance instead. klaus, and you are?”
“y/n,” you reply. “y/n petrova.”
the middle:
klaus knows he is supposed to remain focused on your sister, now that he finally has the means to break his hybrid curse and embrace his true form
but he can’t stop thinking about you
your unimpressed and nonchalant demeanour when you’re around him despite his status
your appreciation for the little pleasures in life, like feeling a gush of wind through the long tresses of your hair, or chasing butterflies in the fields in hopes of getting to appreciate the beauty of one up close
your laughter, and how hearing even the smallest of giggles from you can brighten his entire day
spending time with you away from everyone and everything else frees him, he is able to let go of the notorious hybrid with evil responsibilities and just be klaus, the man striving to see your gorgeous smile any time he can
he makes a painting of you running through the fields, and the grin you give him when he gives it to you has his heart running a full on marathon
he loves picking small flowers and putting them in your hair above your ear, stroking your cheekbone with his thumb as you look up at him through your eyelashes with a blush rising onto your cheeks
he takes you out with the horses for a stroll, watching you nurture your horse and take in the sights and sounds of nature
the more time passes, the more you find yourself feeling so much more alive in klaus’ company
he understands you like no one ever has
normally the focus is always on your sister, but klaus has made it more than clear that he has big plans for you romantically
he sneaks you out to watch the stars in the night
he watches you in adoration as you catch a firefly in your hands
his heart is so full and he loves it
something he hates however is keeping his secret from you
not just the whole ‘being a vampire’ thing but his plans for your sister
he wants to tell you but he can’t risk losing you
because he knows you’ll run for the hills when you find out
and that’s exactly what happens
your sister learns of klaus’ plans and you’re infuriated when you find out
“was any of it real, klaus?”
“it was all real. i'm falling for you, y/n. please just allow me to explain,” he pleads but you’ve already run off and you don’t see him for 5 centuries
and now, the end:
you knew katherine staying in mystic falls to torture the salvatores would never lead to a positive outcome
and you were right
isobel double-crossed her and now she is in the possession of the man you swore you’d erase from your memory, and your heart
you show up at alaric’s apartment door and are met with his face
“give me my sister”
“is that really any way to greet me after more than 500 years? you look ravishing by the way,” he says, his signature smirk plastered on his lips
“you’re right, it’s been over 500 years and I haven’t asked you or gone to you for a single damn thing. so give me my sister,” you argue
klaus takes a step closer to you
“fine. i will grant your sister her freedom, provided you do one thing for me.”
you cross your arms, cocking out your hip as you roll your eyes, “and what is that?”
“I have something to do right now. curses to break, all that fun stuff. but when i return, you have to be here. so i can give you what i’ve wanted to give you since 1492.”
“which is?” you ask, growing tired of his games
“a future where you have everything you want. with the man that was made for loving and cherishing you. me.”
~
a/n: i hope this was okay for you, love! currently working on the requests in my inbox right now, but feel free to send in more! don’t forget to like and reblog, that way i know you guys are liking the content i'm out!

she will be loved, part five
summary: hayley arrives with a witch to help, while [your name]’s visions take a turn for the worse.
pairing: dad! elijah mikaelson x child! female! reader
word count: 1.1k words
warnings: mentions of death, canon divergence, hayley is pregnant but timeline is all screwed bc i said so, visions, prophetic shit i guess
a/n: :D also... just putting this out there....... why is description so difficult?  like everything i write seems almost like a script or some shit.  i need to work on my description big time
Tumblr media
she will be loved masterlist
“Hello?  Hayley?”
Hayley was quiet on the opposite line, a frown deep in her soft features.  What was he doing, calling her?
Klaus cleared his throat, but she stayed quiet.
“I was hoping you would know of someone who could help us.  We need a witch.  One that deals with visions.”
Hayley closed her eyes, sighing softly.  “Why?”
Klaus blinked slowly, his jaw clenching in frustration.
“Klaus, I’m not going to help you unless you give me a reason.”
“I shouldn’t have to give you a reason,” he sneered, anger slithering up his spine as if a snake had replaced what nerves he had left.
“Alright, then,” Hayley rolled her eyes.  “Have fun finding a witch.”
Hayley pulled the phone away from her ear, prepared to hang up when she heard Klaus yell her name through the receiver.
“Wait,” he said, his voice constrained for the time being.  “There is… a problem we’ve been having.  A child,” he said.
Hayley stayed quiet, her hand hovering over her own stomach.
“She’s been having visions.  Prophetic visions.  We… are hoping to find someone who can help her.”
Hayley cleared her throat, pursing her lips soon after.  “Okay,” she said.  “You’re still in Mystic Falls, right?  I’ll… see what I can do.”
“Come too,” Klaus said.  “We do not need a witch on our grounds when we’ve no idea who they are.”
“I’ll be there,” she said, before hanging up the phone.  She knew exactly who to call.
Time went by slower that week than it had in some time.  The witch Elijah had called had no idea how to help little [Your name].  She left almost as soon as she had arrived, claiming that some other forces were in control of the child.
Elijah was tempted to find her and rip her a new one—how dare she give up when she hadn’t even begun to help?
It was on a night that Elijah had just laid [Your name] to sleep when a knock came from the front door.  No one else had been home.  Klaus and Kol were out at the Grill, and Rebekah was at the high school with the prom committee.  It was just him and his little girl.  He sighed softly and left his daughter’s room, promptly answering the front door.
“Hello?” he greeted as he opened it, his eyes growing wide at the sight of a pregnant Hayley Marshall.  Beside of her stood a fiery redhead, who he could only assume was a witch—he could practically smell the magic drifting off of her.
Elijah looked down at her belly before looking back up at Hayley in shock.  “Hayley…”
The brunette gave him a soft smile.  “Hi, Elijah.  Is Klaus here?  He was asking for a witch.  I brought him one.  I need to talk to him, too.”
“No,” Elijah frowned.  “But, I’m sure he’ll be back soon.  Who are you?” he turned to look at the redhead.
She smiled, revealing a set of almost perfect teeth.  “Penelope.”
“And what are you here for?” Elijah raised an eyebrow.
“Uh,” Penelope looked over at Hayley for help.
“Again,” Hayley rolled her eyes.  “Klaus asked for my help.  I brought him a witch that knows about visions and stuff like that.”
Elijah’s eyes widened.  “Oh,” he breathlessly said, looking between Hayley and Penelope.  A part of him wondered if he should wait for his siblings to return… but he knew that whatever he could do for his daughter would be beneficial in the long run.
“Come in,” Elijah said, moving out of the doorway.
Hayley and Penelope came inside.  The former kept a hand over her belly while the latter looked around the house in utter amazement.
“This is gonna sound stupid, but I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place this big,” Penelope whisper-yelled to the woman standing beside her.
Hayley rolled her eyes, but it was a playful gesture.  She just smiled at her friend.
“So,” Penelope soon said, turning to face Elijah.  “What can I do to help?”
Elijah led the women up to his daughter’s bedroom.  However, he did not go inside, opting to instead explain what was going on, first.
“I adopted her about… well, nearly a year and a half now,” he said.  “She has always been susceptible to dreams of all sorts.  Lands filled with candies, snow during the summer, her favorite characters becoming her friends.  But she has also had… visions.  What we now know to be precognition,” Elijah frowned, crossing his arms over his chest as he spoke.
Penelope clung to his every word.
“She is terrified.  She has seen my brother die.  She witnessed a girl with something that my brother and sister have been searching everywhere for.  [Your name] has never once heard them talking about it.”
Penelope tilted her head.  “What is it you are wanting me to do?” she asked.
“Can you get rid of it?  Take her power away?  Allow her to be a normal child, with normal dreams?” Elijah asked, staring her down.
Penelope looked from Elijah to Hayley, frowning.  “I’m not sure.  But I will see what I can do,” Penelope said, patting the satchel at her side.  “My mother’s grimoire has a lot of info about visions,” she said.  “I’m sure I’ll be able to do something to help.”
Elijah gave a small not, uncertainty getting the best of him.  Would she be able to help?  What if there was nothing they could do for his little girl?
The original vampire would have led them somewhere else, a guest room perhaps, had it not been for the little girl now standing at her opened door.
“Daddy?” [Your name] quickly spoke, tears springing in her big eyes.
Elijah wasn’t human, but his non-beating heart sprung to his throat in an instant.  He bent down to her height and held out his arms to the child.  [Your name] ran to them, hugging onto the man.
“What’s the matter?” Elijah softly asked, pressing a kiss to her temple.
“I had another dream,” she said, trembling in his arms.
“About what, my love?”
“I don’t know,” she let out a soft sob, roughly wiping her eyes to try and stop her tears.
Elijah quickly grabbed her hands, stopping her.  He couldn’t bear the thought of her getting hurt by her own hands.
“[Your name], look at me,” he frowned.  “You’re alright.  You are safe,” he said.  “Nothing can get to you here.  I will always protect you.”
“Always?” she looked up at him with wide eyes.  Her bottom lip quivered as she spoke.
“Always,” he nodded.
She sniffled softly, looking at his hands that were now holding hers.  [Your name] took in a deep breath, her eyes soon wandering up to his.  “I saw you, daddy,” she said.
Elijah frowned.  “What did you see?”
“I saw you…”
He furrowed his brows, confused.
“You were dead, daddy.”

Jolyne - No Ordinary Girl
Mermaid Y/N x Surfer Jolyne
Today was a particularly fitting day to go to the beach. Jotaro had taken Jolyne, Hermes and Foo Fighters to the shore. He mostly went for some observation and the girls decided they would take advantage of the nice weather for some surfing.
It was not long after they arrived and started installing themselves that Jolyne and Hermes' eyes fell into very familiar faces.
Annasui, upon seeing the group, walked towards the girls with a confident stance, making sure his long hair was flowing in the wind.
"Oh look who we have here. The ladies victory." Annasui exclaimed, before completely falling heart-eyed, his voice and tone softening, dreamy even, at the sight of his object of worship. "Hi Jolyne~"
"Oh! Weather Report's there! Hi Weas!" Jolyne called out to the older man arranging a parasol a few feet behind, her completely ignoring the pink haired-male that seemed to have come with him. He waved shortly at Jolyne in response.
"Anyways, what are you guys up to?" Hermes asked, sipping on some lime flavored granita.
"Well, as you can see..." He pointed at the ocean, "We just wanted to take a day to work out a bit, but the waves are real nice today."
He leaned in not so subtly towards Jolyne, despite Hermes' evident judging gaze.
"But you know what else is real nice today?" He brought his hand up to cup Jolyne's chin, but before he could even say or do anything, Jolyne leaned away and pointed behind him.
"Oh wow! My dad's coming back with drinks!" She called nonchalantly, looking behind Annasui like he was more transparent than air itself.
"...! DRINKS?! DRINKS!!" Foo Fighter gasped, pushing the feminine man off to the side with such force, he fell and slid against the sand.
"Hey, Jojo," Hermes tapped her friend's shoulder, "Let's show these pendejos how girls ride waves."
The Asian American smirked, eager to show who's boss and always ready to follow on her best friend's mischief. "I'm racing you then."
"Pfft, I won't go easy girlfriend." The Mexican cracked her knuckles and grabbed her plank.
After surfing for long enough and being outran by Jolyne's stamina, Hermes decided to go back and sunbathe next to F.F's who was playing cutely with sand.
Jolyne glided full speed over the water, the wind and droplets of salty water refreshing her skin. More than competition, Jolyne loved the acceleration, the adrenaline, the sweet fresh air through her long hair. When she was surfing, Jolyne's heart lightened up and her mind purged of any negative thoughts, anxiety, fears.
She was at peace.
Before she could enjoy the sweet taste of her peace of mind though, she caught up to a blond surfer in front of her who she recognized as she got closer. Oh god, not him of all people.
"Oh, hey! Isn't that the sexiest surfer in all Miami?" Romeo teased, admiring the girl who gained up on him, "Not bad, look at you go! Who knew my little Jojo would be so talented, hot damn!"
Jolyne frowned and clicked her tongue. She swore if she wasn't so focused on staying in balance, she would drown him on the spot. He laughed obnoxiously, satisfied with being a disgusting excuse of a human.
"Romeo, I swear to fuckin-"
Before she could even finish her sentence, something, a gigantic fish tail appeared out of the wave and flicked itself right accross the blonde, slapping him off of his plank with a painful sound.
"HUAARGHH-" He screamed before crashing into the water with the splash and disappearing behind Jolyne.
"O-OH MY GOD!" She gasped, both surprised by the sudden turn of events, and incredibly scared for her life, thinking some kind of hostile shark was in the shore currently, which was to report immediately.
The moment she decided to take a turn and leave as fast as she could, warning the others to get the hell out of here, a shadowy form within the water followed her along the wave.
Foolishly curious, Jolyne looked at it, not without her heart hammering in her chest at the potential danger she was facing.
What she saw was not a sight she'd have ever expected to ever see in all her 19 years. Her legs shook at the shock and she almost completely fell over her board.
Gliding along the water right next to her, right inside the tall wave, was the figure of... a girl.
Or was it a girl? It couldn't be. She looked human at first glance, but the more Jolyne's gaze moved sideways she noticed the long and impressive fish tail replacing what were supposed to be legs.
Jolyne's jaw felt slack. She felt like she was hallucinating. Believe it or not, she had not smoked or taken any recreative substances beforehand, but she truly wished she had because that would have at least explained what her eyes were showing her.
The girl swimming and following her only smiled, waving cutely with webbed hands, as if amused by Jolyne's disbelieving reaction and wide eyes.
"W-w-w.... What the fuck..???" Jolyne finally spoke after rebooting her entire brain, "No fucking way-...! A mermaid??!! A real one??!"
Like a bad trick from fate, the wave Jolyne was trying her hardest to not get swallowed by, seemed to grow weaker and weaker, shortening in size.
Jolyne saw the mermaid slowly retreat away in an elegant swim, her form vanishing into the deep blue.
"Wait, no!" The surfer called, almost desperate to have such a mystical meeting and ethereal moment be so short lived.
She reached her hand out to the creature, unsure of what she was even trying to do, but the force of the current got the best of her, and Jolyne lost balance, falling forward with nothing to hang onto for purchase.
Jolyne splashed onto the water and the wave died with her hope of ever living such a dream again.
"Ooohh dang it! You were almost there!" Hermes called out from the shore, her voice booming enough for Jolyne to hear as she broke into the surface.
"Fuck...." Jolyne cursed, hanging onto her board.
She felt defeated. Not because she couldn't ride that wave to the very end as she was expected to with her skill level, but rather because she couldn't immortalize that beautiful moment.
She blankly climbed onto her board again and barely even paddled her way back to land, too out of it to do so.
Was that even real? That had to be, right? She saw the mermaid. She saw her hair, her skin tone shined-on by the sun. She saw the scales over her skin, the fins along her arms and tail.
She saw her attack Romeo, he must have seen her too, Jolyne pondered.
"Aaah the champion is back!" F.F cheered as Jolyne finally walked back, drenched and with her plank under one arm. "I made a sandcastle for our ocean queen!"
"Thanks Foo..." Jolyne's small smile didn't not match her quiet tone.
"Hey, what's up, chula ? You look like you've seen a ghost, or something? You did great back there, so why the long face?" Hermes fixed the straps of Jolyne's bikini top and removed some seaweeds from her hair.
"It's just... I saw something weird it the water and I don't know..." Jolyne hesitated, "Maybe I was dreaming or something."
"Hum..." Hermes hummed in thought. "What do you think Féfé?"
"Maybe Mr. Jotaro can answer if you saw an animal? Damn, I'm thirsty." F.F stuck her tongue out, clearly expressing her thirst.
"Dude, there's water litterally everywhere here." The mexican grimaced before turning back to Jolyne. "But yeah, maybe you should ask your dad if that worries you so much."
"Uhh..."
Jolyne looked towards her father who was crouching somewhere next to some rocks, taking notes about mollusks, or so Jolyne guessed.
"Yeah, maybe not. It's fine though, no big deal." She smiled, waving her hand in dismissal.
Shrugging it all off, the girls decided to join Weather Report and Jotaro who brought food to finish the day at the beach with a relaxing touch.
And so, the day ended with an uncanny normalcy for Jolyne, who kept thinking more and more as the sun set, that it all had been in her mind. Mermaids didn't exist. It was probably a Stand user playing tricks on her.
That what she wanted to believe. When she thought of all the events that would follow, she truly wished she had spoken to her father about it. After all, if he had fought a very real vampire, then there would be no doubt that something as crazy as a mermaid could exist in her bizarre adventure.
Jolyne came back to the beach that same week. Alone, this time. She was careful to come by the time the sun started to lower in the sky and the temperature of the water and air dropped, knowing tourists and athletes would be gone by this time.
'What now?' She thought. Coming back out of sheer curiosity was a thing, but making sure she could attract the creature back to her was something else.
"Should I bring food? What do mermaids even eat? Does she like hot dogs...?" Jolyne thought out loud, looking around, secretly glad no one was here to hear her talk mad nonsense to herself like some insane crackhead.
She approached the water and drenched her feet in the small rocking waves, coming and going her way and gently splashing her. She hesitated for a moment, remembering that along with the legend of mermaids came the fact that these creatures were known to attract and enchant humans by their beauty, leading them to their inevitable death.
So maybe, Jolyne accepted, she was destined to die in the ocean.
Just as she came hip-deep into the sea, she felt a strange current shaking her legs, almost knocking her out of balance.
Before she could even process how strange it felt, she looked down into the clear water and saw no less than the same huge colorful fish tail she had seen that very day.
She gasped in realization and soon enough screamed as she felt calloused hands grab her thighs, the creature pushing herself out of the water to be met face to face with the human who had been, unbeknownst to Jolyne, her newfound fixation.
"Y-WHAAAAAHH!!!" Jolyne hollered, not expecting such a strong and surprising appearance.
The mermaid still halfway into the water, climbed and gripped up the girl's hips for leverage. She looked up at Jolyne's face, smiling wide and eyes glinting in both adoration and mischief.
"Greetings."
"HOLY CRAP-" Jolyne's voice cracked, "I mean- fuck yes! I mean-..."
Poor Jojo was completely out of it. But who could blame her, though? It was not everyday that one got to meet a real mermaid in the flesh. And certainly not such a handsy one.
She cleared her throat and mustered her most suave voice, pretending she wasn't completely flustered by the sheer beauty before her.
"Hi."
"I knew you'd come back..." The mermaid spoke, her voice almost ethereal and distant, "They always do."
Jolyne's heart wanted to stop. God, she felt burning hot and was sweating everywhere. Her voice stilled Jolyne to place in a way she couldn't explain. The legendary creature was so impossibly close to her, bodies almost touching.
She noticed she couldn't stay up overwater any other way than using Jolyne's lean body for leverage, her heavy tail anchoring her down. But the warm proximity between them and the sight of such a beautiful, rare and mystical creature right under her chest felt unreal and exciting.
Jolyne wanted to look her over for hours. Her hair texture, drenched and flowy, her skin tone glowing like gold, her holographic scales and fins shining like crazy diamonds.
"Why... Why did you...? Of all people...?" Jolyne questionned, now wondering if their first meeting in that wave was really a trick of fate, or if she was chosen in any way. "You attacked Romeo, yet you showed up to me... Why me?"
"I like beautiful humans." The mermaid smiled, her radiant features and smooth voice making Jolyne's legs weak, "You're beautiful."
The young surfer couldn't help her heart shaking and the wave of warmth spreading through her chest. If it was anyone else, she would boast her obvious beauty or maybe flip them off. But now she couldn't. Being complimented by a mythical being that was already the most gorgeous thing Jolyne had ever witnessed was truly something else
"What's your name?" Jolyne started.
"Call me Y/N."
Y/N, Jolyne's mind echoed. Cute. Even mermaids had names, she thought before realising that may be a very stupid thought to have. She didn't really know what else to expect.
"I uh, I'm Jolyne..." She looked down into the water, somewhat not daring to look at Y/N's adorable curious and sensual gaze. Oh god that was bad, she was entrancing.
"Not to be gay but...You look cute. Hot even. Can I say that? That's not weird, right? Since ya know... You're not exactly human, but you're not an animal either, like... I'm not gonna get arrested for this... I hope..."
"I'm not too familiar with human tongue, but I think Ms.Jolyne looks really pretty as well." Y/N moved to wrap an arm around Jolyne's waist, gripping her for better leverage and pointing at her chest, right in her reach. "Healthy mammals, great for feeding the young."
"Mammals...? Oh! You mean my boobs?" Jolyne glanced at her modest chest before grinning at the creature, "Aw thanks! Finally someone who likes them who's not some degenerate creep!"
Jolyne's chuckle died down and she finally took the time to look over Y/N's face. She ran a cold hand over her much warmer cheek, gliding it down to her gilled neck, mesmerized by her anatomy.
It truly was a one-in-a-lifetime meeting. Jolyne was slowly comprehending her luck to be met with a legendary sea creature like her. And a friendly one, at that.
How could this be even real? Our human knew that even though she was feeling relatively serene at the moment, the adrenaline would come down later and she would most likely cry herself to sleep.
"Hey uhm..." Jolyne was at a loss for words. There were so many things to say, but at the same time, she couldn't speak a word.
"Hm?" Y/N hummed and closed her eyes, enjoying the human's gentle touches.
Merfolks would express themselves via physical ministrations the most in the ocean, but she knew well a lot of humans did not share intimacies, or at least not before building a certain bond.
Glad that Jolyne was open to it, the sea-bound girl squeezed both her arms around the human's waist lovingly, forcing endearment on Jolyne, who felt her own heart tighten at the sweet and adorable embrace. The girls wanted to keep each other.
"Will we see each other again? I mean, I know you shouldn't be noticed by the public for your safety, but I don't know... Guess I took a liking to you or something." Jolyne mumbled, still resting her hands mindlessly around the creature's shoulders, fiddling with the ridges of her dorsal fin.
Y/N smiled, a smile that looked empty on her fish eyes, but sincere regardless. She let go of Jolyne who couldn't quite take her own hands off of her, clinging a little bit longer.
"Don't you know this, Ms. Jolyne? When human women die in the ocean, they relive as our kind."
"What? Really?" Jolyne let the mermaid get away slowly, ready to swim off to some unknown destination.
"If you want to see me again," Y/N called out cutely, waving her webbed hand like the very first time she saw Jolyne surfing, "Then perish in the ocean!"
She grinned, diving into the deep blue and splashing her tall tail strongly, giving herself a boost of speed, and disappearing away.
Jolyne could only stare into the horizon, darkening as the night arrived, stunned into place.
"...Ok, that was metal as fuck..."

Your head was light and brain struggling to make any connections to the rest of your body. Your back rested against the dining room chair as you let whatever Jo fed to you get mushy in your mouth. Caroline had fed you some of her blood but your headache remained. Everything about today had went south and now everyone was just waiting on the edges of their chairs for something to happen and just wrap up the gift of shittiness to this very bad day. Unfortunately for you, you just so happened to be the fucking bow.
"I thought I told you to stay away from her!" Bonnie snapped in the living room at the brown haired siphon. You couldn't hear the arguments happening in the other room solely because you were too busy being coddled by Jo and Caroline to make sure you wouldn't be able to hear the scolding Kai was receiving in the other room.
Bonnie never saw what you did whenever she looked at him. In her mind, you were just another one of his victims. He couldn't have had any good intentions with you. Kai Parker never had good intentions of any kind. He's selfish, and evil, and cruel, and there's no way in hell she was going to let him keep ruining your life after what happened today. Everyone knew who he was and what he did, everyone saw how dangerous he could be... except you just refused to acknowledge it. Truthfully, she didn't know whether to direct all her anger at him for hurting you or put all her disappointment on you for letting it get this far.
"Bonnie I swear, it's not like that! I never meant to hurt her, it just happened and I couldn't control it-"
"I swear to god I will kill you right now, and I wouldn't even need magic to do it." She growled.
He couldn't understand what made her so angry. Obviously he never meant to siphon so much out of you, really he didn't mean to siphon you at all. He was just planning on telling from Bonnie and the bracelet you gave him with a bit of your magic in it for emergencies and hoped the whole spell would work out fine.
"It was an accident!"
"Like hell it was!" Everyone stood around... watching... waiting... hoping. Hoping he would step out of line just once so they could rip his head off. "Nothing with you is an accident, Kai!"
"I would never intentionally hurt her, Bonnie! Believe or not I'm still capable of human emotions!" He scoffed, nothing the vampires surrounding him ready to pounce at any given moment, and with his anger levels rising they were about to have a field day.
"Of course you would, Kai! You hurt everyone who's close with you! Whether it's literally or metaphorically you always find a reason that benefits you, that justifies you hurting someone else! That's just who you are! You want nothing good with her, Kai! She's a good person, just leave her alone!" Bonnie growled, but Kai wasn't going to give in so easily.
"I've changed, Bonnie!"
"Changed into what? An even better liar? Because for an actual second there, Kai, I really believe you stayed in mystic falls just to live the life you never got to!" She fired.
"That's-"
"You know, if you wanted to make us even considering liking you, you should've moved. Far, far away from here, somewhere where you can't fucked up our lives enough for us to continue to have another fucking reason to hate you!" His shoulders dropped, hurting filling him to the brim. Usually he wouldn't let things like words get to him. She was upset with him, people say things they don't mean when they're upset... only she would've said this even in her happiest moments of life. She did hate him, and she had every reason to.
"She makes me a better person- When I'm I'm with her I want to be a better Person, Bon!" He defended himself. He knew the real reason he was with her, to him it was quite obvious. She made him feel as though the world wasn't out to get him. She could stop a nightmare before it even began with just a breathing the way she does. She made the best cupcakes, even though her cooking skills were mediocre, magic could fix everything. She made him smile without even doing anything just from the warm giddy feeling in his body when he's around her. Y/N Bennett... she was the only person to exist to make Malachi Parker feel like he deserved to live.
"Bullshit! You're just using her-"
"It isn't like that!" He snapped, causing the argument to halt for a few seconds.
"Really? Then tell me, Kai. What is it? Is it because she's my cousin? Is that why you're interested in her? To get back at me in your own disgusting twisted way? Or is it because of the blood? I bet her Bennett blood would come in real handy just in case-"
"No! I wouldn't do that to her-"
"Or is it because you're just so desperate for someone who actually feels like a friend that you decided to keep her around? Hmm? Maybe it's because after 18 years holed up in that prison word, you finally came to the realization that there is no possible way you could ever be loved. That you deserve to be alone for the rest of eternity. But all of a sudden, here she is, Precious y/n Bennet, the only person who is willingly to search for even a shred of good in you!" She spat. Everyone around watching guards fell as the watched Kai slowly become less tense. His shoulders falling slowly, the will the defend himself leaving his body along with his will to live, embarrassment and anger rushing through his veins, but a small part of him kept him in the room and not on his way back to his apartment. "Let me tell you something, Kai. Maybe this you can finally get it through your head." Bonnie feeling confident enough to take a step towards the stunned looking Siphon. "Not even a Bennett witch is strong enough to fix the broken, unlovable, vile person you really are. And if you truly, by some fucking miracle have a beating heart in your chest, if you've actually let her change you for the better, then you know she's better off without you. We both know that you don't deserve her in any way, shape, or form... so just let her go. Find someone else to ruin and leave her alone."
It felt as if all the oxygen in his body had left. His heart stopped pumping blood through his veins, and slowly and painfully he felt as if he was desiccating on the insides. He hadn't even noticed the tear that had escaped while he was being scolded.
Both you and Jos head turn as you hear a muffled scream that sounded like it came from Bonnie. You tried to stand by Jo eased you back down, shaking her head as if everything was all right. You couldn't hear much of the conversation going on in the other room, but you knew if it was enough to make Bonnie angry then it was never good. And Bonnie in their with Kai... was enough to make her wanna take out the entire town of Mystic Falls.
"I feel fine Jo, I'm good." You reassure her, standing on your own again against her advice.
She knew what was going on in there... they've been going at it since before you even regained consciousness. She wasn't worried about you not being able to stand on your own, she was worried about you overbearing the heavy conversation happening in the other room.
"Maybe we should head to a clinic or something, you did hit your head pretty hard!" She tries quickly but you shaking your head.
"Caroline gave me her blood, I'll be fine." You responded, looking to the blood who seemed to be in total shock and not at all paying attention to either of you. "I think I'm just going go home and sleep, promise I won't do anything to crazy." You sent Jo a soft smile, tilting your head at Caroline in confusion but ultimately ignored it. Maybe it was some weird vampire sensory thing.
"You should take the back door!" Jo tried again, just to keep you from walking back into the living room.
"I would..." you narrowed your eyes at the dark haired doctor. "But my keys are by the front door." You spoke, walking towards the living room before Jo could make any more excuses. You caught on fast, but really you did just want to go home.
"Wait No-" Jo stood quickly, Caroline finally snapping back into consciousness. By the time she could truly think, you were already walking through the doors leading into the living room. There was still a bit of your blood on the carpet, you knew Damon was going to bitch about that later so you figured you get out why you still could.
Well... that's what you were planning to do before you stopped just to notice all of the eyes planted on you. You first assumed that it was just them just surprised at your speedy recovery... but the tear running down your boyfriends cheek made you rethink a bit. Kai never cried. No matter what or ho he was feeling, there was not a thing in this world that he would ever let get to him. Maybe he was just so worn out from the spell too that he didn't even feel himself tearing up. The whole room felt tense, and even Jo and Caroline looked like this in the Kitchen.
"What's going on?" You felt your own body tense a bit as Kai's eyes fell down to the floor.
"nothin'" Kai mumbled, voice shaky. Your eyes narrowed with obvious disbelief. His voice was kind of small, and he couldn't even look at you. He had so many thoughts racing through his head he had no idea what to do.
"Why don't i believe that..." you spoke, mostly to yourself. "I was just about to head home." You mentioned wearily. "Are you coming or are you just gonna stand there awkwardly?" You asked, half joking and half wanting to know what had him so actually upset.
"Uhm," he spoke looking back up, eyes immediately attracted to Bonnie before looking back to you. He felt her glare burning into the side of his head, her whole rant repeating itself in his mind over and over again. "Yeah, yeah, I'll drive." He nodded, turning around just so he wouldn't have to look at you again. Before he could walk, Bonnie had grabbed his arm. Rather tightly, and oddly to be honest. She usually avoided any sort of interaction with him, so even an arm touch was a weird sight to you.
All she sent was a simple look that seem to have him shaken down to his boots before she let him go. Her eyes falling back to you. She sent a smile, before just walking away. Not a word. Just silence. It was weird, no one else had much to say either, just weird looks on their faces and more silence to give. You ignored them though, just wanting to get home.
"Uhm, okay." You responded to the silence, shaking out the bad feeling from your mind before walking through the living room. You grabbed you jacket off the couch before walking over to Kai. You reached your hand up to touch his arm but he shrugged you off, walking towards the front door without even look at you. Was he mad? What could he possibly have been mad at you for?
You pretended to not noticed the coldness and just follow after him out the door. He got into the car, barely even waiting until your door was fully closed before taking off out of the driveway. He needed to get you home. To stop himself from doing the right thing and letting you go because he didn't want that. He wanted you, for as long as he could manage to keep you in his grasp. It was selfish of him, but everyone already knew what he was like so he didn't really care. He's happy with you. Happy with his life with you. Happy with his life around you. Happy with himself with you.... why in hell would he ever give you up?
Bonnie was right though, letting you go wasn't about his happiness. It was about yours. And as selfish as he was, your happiness would always come above his own. He made sure of that everyday. He didn't eat until you did, he took shorter showers so you could have more hot water, or he'd just wait until you were done and take whatever was left. You wanted- deserved a life without him and all the despair and pain that follows him around. You didn't deserve to be woken up in the middle of the night because he was restless. You didn't deserve to be distanced from all your friends just because you liked him. If living the best life you could meant leaving him behind, he was fine with that. He was fine with that for you. He was fine with you being happy even if it meant he would've been miserable for the remainder of his life.
"Kai, you need to slow down!" You spoke up, hand moving to his thigh as you noticed his hand clutching the wheel so tightly. "Your going 70 in a 35" it was late and no one was out on the streets, he didn't care how fast he was going.
"It's fine, y/n." He muttered, eyes not leaving the road. There were no deer out in this time of the year, there was no danger of hitting much of anything.
"No, Kai, it's dangerous." You responded, "slow down, please."
"No." He needed to get you home. If he slowed down, that gave you more time to talk. More time for him to think, more reasons to flood his brain on why you were better off without him.
"No? Kai, come on, seriously you need to slow down." You scoffed, not amused by his resistance. "I'd rather not die in a car crash before I'm old enough to run for president."
"Could you stop talking? Like just for a moment!" He huffed.
"Wha- I- no! What the hell is wrong with you? Slow the car down, Kai!" His eyes rolled, momentarily forgetting just how persistent you could be. "Kai!" Your hand moving from his thigh as you contemplated jumping out of the car just to see what he would do. Maybe after you break probably every bone in your body he'll slow the fucking car down. "Stop the damn car." You spoke but he ignored you, hoping you would just stop talking to him.
Instead of you stopping with the chat, he felt himself stomping on the break as your seatbelt came undone. Your body moving forward fast, colliding with the dashboard, and knocking the absolute wind out of you. He unbuckles his seat belt quickly, looking over to you. You were fine, your boobs not so much, but it wasn't unbearable. You let out a deep throaty couch, opening your car door. You only unbuckled your seat belt to get him to slow down, put the fear in him that you were going to jump out.
Well... it sort of worked.
"Y/N, what the hell?!" He growled, following you out the car. You were leaned onto the car trying to get some air into your king as the adrenaline started releasing through your body. "What the hell were you going to do? Jump out of the fucking car because I was got a few miles over? You could've gotten hurt! Hurt worse the just hitting the dashboard! What if another car was coming? You could've gotten ran over, and killed! Then you'd wake up with a craving for an AB positive juice box!" He scolded you as if you were a child.
"I wasn't actually going to jump out, asshole! I just wanted you to slow the damn car down! And if you would've done it, instead of being a dick then we wouldn't be having this conversation!"
He mumbled something under his breath that you couldn't quite make out and you finally managed to stand straight again. "Are you okay?" He sighed.
"Are you?" You shrugged. "You haven't looked at me since we left the house, you won't talk to me, practically told me to shut the fuck up, and then you yell at me like I'm kid."
"I didn't mean to yell at you. I just didn't want you to get hurt." He frowned a bit.
"I'm fine. But I'm not getting back in that car." You spoke.
"What? Why?"
"Tell me what Bonnie said to you that has you so upset." You demanded, his heart pausing for only a moment as you stated into his soul.
"What?"
"I might be a little be slower at picking up on the clues but I'm not stupid. What did she say that has you so deathly terrified to even look at me?" You asked. "Did she put a spell on you or something-"
"No, it's nothing, y/n, just drop it and let's get back." He shook his head.
"If it was nothing then you wouldn't mind telling me."
"It's none of your business."
"Seeing as your my boyfriend and she's my family, in some weird way, whatever beef you two have is my business."
"Leave it alone."
"No" You shook your head, crossing your arms over your chest even though it hurt a bit.
He wanted to yell, but he knees you still wouldn't give up. He didn't understand how you could be so annoyingly persistent still after he's shot you down so many times. It was like you knew you were getting under his skin yet you kept digging. Purposely trying to draw out some reaction just for your own amusement.
"Why don't you give up?" He groaned. "Why do you even care? Why can you stand there and look at me like that with no guilt at all?!" His foot colliding with the car tire. He hated how much every fiber of his being was pushing him to do the right thing for once. "How can you stand there knowing everything I've done and still sleep in a bed with me? Do you not care?" He wanted to stop but nothing was letting him.
"What're talking about?"
"I killed people! My own family, y/n! I hurt Bonnie! I hurt Damon! I hurt Elena, and then just because I thought you were pretty I hurt you too! And still, you refuse to see any of my faults in actions that I take pride in!" He yelled finally. It didn't phase you. You encourage him to let any emotions he was feeling out all the time. He was angry right now, and you were fine just seeing how angry he really was.
"You're not that person anymore, that's why. I trust you."
"Well you shouldn't." He shook his head. "I will always be that person!"
"You may feel like that person but your not!" You defend him against himself. "You've made a lot of progress, you know that. And I could sit here and dwell on the shit you've done in the past but if I did that to everyone, I'd have no one." You sighed, not understanding why he was bringing any of this up. What did Bonnie say to him?
"I left Bonnie in a prison world to die!"
"And you helped me get her back!"
"I tortured your best friend!"
"You wouldn't be the first-"
"Stop doing that!"
"What?"
"Making excuses for me! There are none! I'm a bad person, y/n! You aren't, this whole 'fix me' doll relationship isn't going to last because of that! Because you deserve better than me! And if I let this go any further, then that means I haven't changed. I'm not better than I was, I've just had you to keep me from making any stupid decisions-"
"Kai stop-"
"-and one day you're going to realize that this was all a mistake. That maybe there isn't something that can be redeemed in my cold unloveable heart. And when that day comes, I'd rather not wake up and see the pure and utter hatred you've developed for me just like the rest of the people in my life."
You felt your lungs stop filling with air. It was hard to get any in, you were just breathless. How were you suppose to breathe after that? Now you had a decent idea of what that conversation he had with Bonnie was.
"No. You don't get to do that, you can't push me away. I'm not here because your a chore Kai, I care about you, and I want to be with you-"
"Do you seriously have no respect for yourself?!"
"Do you?!"
"No! Because all my respect goes to you! Everything I have goes to you! And because I respect you, and because you are literally the only thing on earth that I actually truly care about I have to do this-"
"No you don't-"
"I'm br-"
"No your not!" You groaned, covering you ears as if that would effect the outcome of this situation.
"Stop being so stubborn."
"Kiss me."
"No,"
"Just do it, Kai! Kiss me, and we can make up and forget this whole conversation!"
"How can you seriously fucking stand there and act like I'm not going to ruin your life. I murdered my own siblings in cold blood. And I'd do it again, y/n. I don't feel bad, I never felt bad. I've done so many bad things and your standing here looking at me like I'm a fucking Saint who deserves the happiness you give!"
You remained silent.
"Is that what you want? To see how bad I can be? To wait for the day where you can see Malachi Parker in action? Be there when he finally breaks?! Again!" He scoffed and you shook your head, but no word escaped. "You know what" his eyes set on you, desperate to make you see what everyone else sees when they look at him. "Maybe i can get to your head, if I let you in mine." He spoke walking to you, hands on your temples before you could even move.
You tried to break from him hold be you weren't nearly as strong as he was. He was mumbling something under his breath and soon your whole body became numb. Your mouth feel open as you let out groans of pain as bloody images fill your head, and guilt and remorse and hurt filled your heart. Screams and cries ringing in your mind, but none you've ever heard before. People you've never seen crying, and struggling to run from you. Only it wasn't you they were running from. It was Kai.
His memories flooded your brain all at the same time. You had no idea had to process everything you were seeing. All the pain in your chest amplifying somehow with a deeper emotional pain. But most of that wasn't yours either. It was his too. Loneliness and Exhaustion. Hate and Longing. It was overwhelming along with the pictures and sounds running amok in your head. Soon pictures of Bonnie had flashed through your mind, and Jo, and Damon. Blood, and more blood, nothing wasn't covered in blood, and with every passing second the pain in your chest worsened. Cries of his name, and blood curdling screams filling your head, some of which belonged to you. That was when you felt the worse pain. Hearing your own screams caused a panic, and seeing your own body covered in blood, watching your body fall just earlier as your head collided with the end table. Sheer panic and anguish for some reason. But the last image to intrude your thoughts seemed like a not so distant memory of his. One of you. Even if your head wasn't being taken over you wouldn't have remembered because in this moment he wasn't with you. He was sitting across the grill watching you dunked your fries into a strawberry milkshake with a huge smile on your face in front of your friends. You seemed happy, and it was like you were witnessing someone come back to life. First grief hit you hard, then relief and joy, and then reality set in and it was like you realized that it was all just dream and that person was still dead and never coming back and you were never going to be happy again.
He tore his hands away from you, allow you to steal in some oxygen and you went dizzy, using the car for support so you wouldn't collapse on the ground. Your chest heaving as you tried to reel in your mind what you just saw, what you felt, what you heard. All of his memories. All of the bad things he's ever done, or things he would consider to be bad. But in his mind, it was only reason that you would probably be more inclined to leave him for.
Through every memories you were overwhelmed with emotions. Whatever you could feel you felt. You didn't know which emotions were yours or his. You couldn't separate the feelings. But in some weird way you could tell that the pain and anguish churning in your gut was his. You didn't know his family well enough to have regrets, or remorse... that was all him. All the fronts he put up... all those emotions exposed everything.
"Get in the car." He spoke softly, helping you off the car so he could open the door. "You don't need to say anything, I'm taking you home and then I'll be gone." He spoke as if he knew that you wanted to be nowhere near him.
Instead, you just wanted to give him a hug. That gut wrenching pain he felt still lingering within your body. Tears streaming down your cheeks but not because of what you saw, but how he felt. Every one of your friends have done things of equal evil status. Judging him for things he obviously did regret and feel everyday wouldn't be fair to him. And whether you felt like that because you wanted to be fair or because you were in love with him was a mystery to even you.
You didn't speak, you just sat in the car staring ahead of you. Trying to determine how you really truly felt. Why was him seeing you so bad that he felt he needed to include that memory in his mind torture. You barely felt time move as he flew down the road at the same speed as before. When he parked in front of the apartment the two of you shared, he decided he would just stay out and drive all night. He didn't know where to go. He knew you probably wouldn't want him around. You stared blankly at the red bricked building with the dim lights hanging from the walls.
"Y/N." He spoke softly, not wanting to look at the tears running down your cheeks.
"Kai." You returned, voice soft and brittle unaware of how vulnerable you sounded to him. "Why do you consider meeting me a bad thing?" You asked, not a single other word coming to mind.
"I don't regret meeting you. I regret putting you in this position in the first place. And if I didn't insert myself into your life then-"
"Then you wouldn't be breaking up with me on the side of the road. Leaving me alone to spend the rest of my life wondering what I did wrong to push you away. To wonder why my love wasn't good enough reassurance-" you rambled not sure why everything was coming out of your lips.
"then you wouldn't be crying right now. Then you could've avoided all of this." He sighed in response. He hated when you cried, if it was anyone else it would've been annoying. Your tears always were the one thing that could truly break him into pieces. "When I met you... when I met you, I was so sure that you were just going to ignore me or hate my guts. I fucking left your friend in a prison world to die, y/n. I tortured you, yet you still see me as someone who's able to be redeemed. You SAW what I did, and your still defending me!" His own tears starting to pool. "I d-don't want you to hate me... and I don't want to do this... but I do want to be happy and I don't think you could ever really do that until I'm out of your life." You silently shook your head as you tried not to let your own tears keep falling. Your heart clenching in your chest, breathing getting harder to achieve.
You didn't speak.
You couldn't.
Pain hitting you harder as each second passed. You didn't know how to respond to be truthful so you just unbuckle your seat belt. You sniffled, waking the tears from you cheeks only to has fresh one replace the one you wiped away. Kai still refused to look at you, maybe you finally did she was shitty person her was. And how stupid you were for being with him. You opened the door, getting out quickly hoping he follow you but he didn't. You were still a bit dizzy from him flooding his memories through your head. You're steps were slow and wobbly and you were bound to fall in seconds but you just kept moving. To any who didn't know what you've just been through, you were just so drunk sorority girl trying to make it to the door.
Kai watched you struggled for a second, knowing you could hold your own, but he didn't want you to. He got out of the car, not even caring about locking it behind himself. His feet carried the rest him over to you. Almost as if his body was acting on instinct to help you. His arm wrapped around you, your sweet scent immediately wafting into his nose causing a tear to slip down his cheek. He ignored it, helping you, and you just let him. You didn't feel like fighting. You just wanted his touch on your skin, so you allowed him to help you.
Many thoughts flooded your head. He was as bad as everyone said he was. But you he'd never hurt you, in any way. He wouldn't hurt anyone else because that would hurt you. He was good because he wanted to be, but only for you. No one else has ever really given him good enough reason to be good. You knew he wasn't the same person that he was, and tonight just cleared it all up. It didn't stop you from loving him. It just gave you all the more reason to. You've seen your best friends do worst than him, who were you to cash him out for something he's going to feel his entire life?
You didn't speak the entire way to your front door. He unlocked the door for you, hoping you would just be able to walk and get some rest on the couch or something.
You had other plans.
You stood straight on your own, looking back to the brown haired siphon who realized he was just fooled into a trap. Your hands reached for his, taking his hand in yours quickly before he could walk away.
"Y/n, please, it's easier this way just let me go-"
"You showed me your worst moment so I want to show you my best." You spoke. Eyes dead set on his, hands gripping each other's, neither one of you wanting to let each other go. "Please." You let out a small breath.
"This is going to make it a lot harder-"
"That's the point, Malachi." You sniffle, holding in a tiny laugh.
"Okay." He whispered, preparing himself for the rush of emotions and memories flooding through his head like he did to you. You pulled your hands from his, placing them on each of his temple before beginning the spell.
It wasn't long before he felt your presence in his mind, his on thoughts being taken over with your own thoughts. At first it was a horrible feeling watching every time you were happy, knowing he was never going to be able to see that from you again. Not if he kept his promise. He wouldn't to push you away, his chest light and full with joy and a love so over it was almost crushing. He watched as memories of times you spent with him. From your first date, to that one joke he cracked the made you laugh when he first kidnapped you just to torture you for practice. He watched as he teased you, to the first time the two of you had sex, to the first I love yous, and he felt how warm inside it made you at the fact that he never over used the words. You knew he loved you even when he didn't physically say those words. You felt his love every time you were around him, and that was enough for you.
He felt a soft smile forming on his lips but he could tell if it was from your happiness or knowing how much he really meant to you. Memories of late night cries, and arguments ending in angry sex, and sneaking out of classes, and talking trash about your friends even though you would never said something too horrible about them.
You liked who you were with him. You loved who you were. And he felt all of that, he felt how much love you held for him, how much pain you were in to think about him leaving. And eventually that strong happy, lovely, calm feeling was stripped away from him, leaving him empty for a moment before he felt you hands against his cheeks.
You were holding his face, staring straight into his eyes, both of you almost to the point of sobs. You were praying to god that you're plan worked. The hell were you going to do if it didn't?
  "Don't leave me, Kai."
"Y/N-"
"I'll follow you to the ends of the earth, Kai. Let me love you, please." You pleaded, bodies moving closer together without each other even realizing. It was natural for you to be close with him, you never questioned it.
He didn't want to say no. But he owed it to you to say no.
"You saw what I did-"
"And you saw how much I love you-"
"You watched in first person how I killed four of my siblings-"
"And you watched from my point of view how badly I fell in love with you."
You just wanted to kiss and make up. You would fall apart if he left you alone. Especially if he was doing it for your own 'happiness' because that meant he thought you weren't happy with him. It was upsetting and slightly insulting, because you were the happiest you've ever been with him.
"I just want to do the right thing, baby." He whimpered quietly, you're heart nearly breaking in a million pieces. His tearing streaming quickly, mentally slapping himself for being so weak for you.
"Then stay... stay and make me the happiest person in the entire world. We could graduate together and get a small house in the suburbs, or- or we could leave. Right now. Travel all across the world, experiencing so many different things together." You offered meaning every word.
At some point in the silence that seemed to last for forever, one of you couldn't take it anymore. You didn't care to pay attention which one of you, but your lips connected, smooshing your faces together to be as close as possible. Tears mixing on each other's cheeks, his hands down on your waist pulling you closer into him as you both made you're way inside your shared home.
He used his foot to kick the door closed, being careful to touch you oh so gently. You were a fragile peace of glass to him, the most beautiful sculpture who had no business being with him. He did nothing to deserve you, yet you felt he deserved you more than anyone in the world. You wasted so many years on him tonight, and for some reason you didn't care anymore. He was here, he was on you, his hands, his lips, your minds in sync for each and every single one of your next moves.
Clothes slowly being tossed the the floor as you both backed each other to your bedroom through the dark apartment. By the time you reached the bed the only thing you had left were you bra and underwear, along with his shirt and boxers. Neither of you had even bothered to pull apart for a single breath. You allowed him to gently lower you on the poorly made bed.
"Mmh, w-wait-" he mumbled against your lips. Youre legs parting for him to slip between which he did without thinking. "This is wrong-"
"No, it's not?" You spoke in confusion. "I love you, Kai. I don't care what Bonnie said, because she doesn't know what this feels like." You shake your head.
"Find someone else to ruin and let her go" Kai quoted, your grip on him tightening. "I don't want to-"
"Maybe I want you to ruin me. To fuck up my life. To fuck up my morals just because I love you. I want that, Kai. I want every bit of it. I want this love that consumes me from the inside out, and I want to be able to go against everything I believe for you. I. Love. You." His hands traveling down your waist, as you let out a sigh.
"I love you." He mumbled. "I love you so fucking much." His lips came down on your collarbone, fingers slipping under you panties waistbands before snapping his fingers to get rid of them. You felt the cold air against your slick heat, the warmth from his own body radiating into yours. His hips grinding down into your, his hardon pressing into you causing a light whimpering as you felt the butterflies raging into the pair of your stomach.
"I just wanna be with you, baby." You let out a soft moan, urging him on as he nips and sucked red marks onto your skin.
You used your own magic to undo the threads of his plain blue shirt as you dragged your hand down his back. The fabric slipping down his arms which he didn't mind. He was too focus on your warm skin under his tongue. His teeth grazing across your skin, coming closed with a tiny pinch every time. Your chest heaving into his from the closeness, and heat of it all.
"Tell me to stop” he mumbled against your skin, hips grinding into your heat as you let out needy moans.
“I need you, Kai, please.” Your lip caught in between your teeth, as the cloth of his underwear separating the two of you disappeared. “I want you so bad.” You whined, fingers digging into the soft warm skin on his back.
You felt his hard on slipping between your slick folds as he rocked his hips back and forth. He wanted to feel you, he wanted you to feel him. He never wanted to leave your side, or go a moment without feeling your warmth. He loved you with every fiber of his being, and there was no possible way he could truly explain that to you.
“Please-” you pleaded before he slowly pushed himself into you. Your mouth hung open as his length filled you to the brim, the tip of his cock hitting that hot spongy spot in your cunt so well you could help but moan. He always did fill you up perfectly, almost as if he was made for you or vice versa. “Oh my god.” You whined, hips grinding into his as his hips set a steady pace.
Your legs resting around his waist, as you let out small breathy moans. He was fucking into you hard, but it still felt amazing. He wanted to take his time with you and you felt it. Your body tingling, mind focused solely on him and everywhere your skin touched his. You felt his lips connected with you neck, continuing to suck soft bruised on the skin, placing a soft kiss after each one whispering a single ‘I love you’ each time. His hands left your waist, traveling up your beautiful naked body, taking all the warmth he could, until he traced your hands to his back. He pulled the off, even though he enjoying the sting of your nails digging into his skin, pinning your hands down above you head. His hands flat onto of yours, fingers intertwining as his lips found yours again, your kisses sloppy and slow. The sound of skin on skin filling the room as his pace quickened earning louder breathier moans from your pretty little mouth.
You felt a bubbling heat in the pit of your stomach signaling you were close to your high. Eyes struggling to sty open, as your boyfriend fucked into you so lovingly. It became harder to do anything other than focus on the feeling of him hitting so deep into you he’s almost hit your cervix. The kisses became harder to return and nothing but the sound of you filled the room. He watched in complete awe as you as you slowly began to fall apart. You were the most beautiful creatures he’s ever laid his eyes on, and he had you here underneath him on your way to this euphoric high that he him caused. His name coming out of your mouth in quiet moans and pleads and warning of you about to explode all over his dick. You were all he’s ever wanted out of life, and now he had you and there was no one and nothing that would take you away from him except for death itself.
You were his and that was final.
“Open your eyes baby, look at me.” He groaned as he felt your cunt convulsing around him so tightly.
You struggled with the actions, your eyes focusing on his eyes as you cried out in pleasure. “I’m so close, Kai, fuck, I’m going to cum.” You whined and he nodded watching as your breathing got heavier.
“Cum for me, baby, cum all over me.” He urged you on, feeling his own high approaching.
You felt something inside you explode, a loud moan his name escaping your lips, all your juices spilling onto his hard cock a he continued fucking you through your high. You body jolting and shaking around him, as he went faster, eyes rolling to the back of your head as you realizing you weren’t done yet.
“So close.” He mumbled, hands squeezing your so tightly you felt as if they were going to break. You ignored the pain of having your hard crush and just let out absorber moan from another orgasm building quickly.
“M’gonna c-cum again!” You warned, strained voice loud and needy.
“Me too baby” Kai moaned back, watching your eyes squeeze shut again taking in the way your body shook around him. “Let go y/n, I know you want to.” He spoke out of breath.
You felt his thrust getting sloppily, but he tried keeping up the pace. His own body stiffening as his cock twitch in you as you clenched around him again. Both of your falling apart with loud moans, and whimpering of each other names, lips coming together again as he spilt every last bit of his hot cum into your beautifully worn out cunt.
Neither of you spoke any words. Just your reveled in each other’s tongues, allowed you naked bodies to somehow merge into one. You felt a sudden tiredness take over you as it did the same to him.
“I don’t want to let you go.” He whispered into your lips.
“Then don’t. Let’s stay this way forever.” You hummed, squeezing his hands in yours.
“Deal.”

don’t let me let you go [katherine pierce]
katherine pierce x fem reader
requested: Hi! Sorry, can I request a Katherine Pierce x Fem!Reader?
Maybe where reader is a powerful being, well since demons are real in that universe, maybe a fallen angel? Or something along those lines, and they met along somewhere where Kat was still on the run, so they like hooked up but Kat promises that they'll meet again soon and makes the reader promise that they should be safe as well?
And then years later they accidentally meet up at a party, started dating and Kat is actually soft when it comes to reader. Elena and the gang barge into Katherine and Reader doing something fluffy because they were actually hunting down Katherine since they think that Reader is her next victim or whatever.
Thank you in advance!

So you left.
Katerina Petrova was how you knew her. Still know her at least, she hasn’t really left your mind since then.
And that was back in 1764.
You could feel what she was. She wasn’t human and her compelling tricks made no match for you. She was arrogant like most vampires were, but she slipped past all your defenses and fell in love with her, no matter how “wrong” it was back then.
“Lady Katerina Petrova, this is Lady Y/N Y/L/N. She’s the owner of the great estate. Her family actually passed recently in a terrible sunken ship, somehow Y/N survived.” one of your noblemen introduced the two of you, after you sensed she was a vampire.
She eyed you carefully and you just smiled at her. Before whispering a ‘thank you’ to the man. The two of you embarked into a formal conversation until you were the only ones left in the room.
“So what are you?” she asked, bluntly.
You chuckled softly, intrigued by the beautiful brunette, “You don’t skip the niceties now do you?” you asked.
“Niceties aren’t my thing,” she shrugged.
“Neither are they mine.”
You were snapped out of your vivid memory when Stefan waved his hand in front of you. You shook your head and he just laughed at you.
“I think they’re here.” he whispered. You and the rest of the gang were at Mystic Falls Grill waiting for Caroline to come back to introduce you to someone who has been blackmailing and torturing them for a couple years now.
You recently moved to Mystic Falls and Stefan felt how different you were compared to everyone else. So he confronted you just like every other supernatural you’ve met in the past how many years.
From there he introduced you to the rest of the gang: annoyingly arrogant, yet good looking brother Damon, pretty blonde Caroline, supernatural hunter, yet working with supernatural beings Alaric, selfless, doesnt get enough credit witch Bonnie, and lastly, the one who looked like a split image of the one who got away Elena.
They thought you’d be a great asset to them, seeing how you can see how/when someone dies and how any supernatural being can be killed. Just one of the perks of being a fallen angel. You reluctantly agreed to help them and they want to know your take on how to kill this person named Katherine Pierce.
You lifted up your head to see her. It wasn’t Elena, you knew that for a fact. Because Elena has been here the entire time. Her hair was in looser curls nowadays and her wardrobe certainly changed as well. But it suit her, the confident bold woman you knew, wearing a black leather jacket and jeans.
Her eyes landed on yours and she remained her natural composed self, “Katherine, this is Y/N Y/L/N, she just recently moved to Mystic Falls.”
“So what are you?” she asked, bluntly.
You chuckled softly, your first conversation popping back in your brain, “You don’t skip the niceties now do you?”
“Niceties aren’t my thing.” and you could tell she’s fighting back a smile of her own.
“Neither are they mine.”
After the rest of the day of Katherine picking fights with everyone, but you. You excused yourself to the bathroom while they were pressing Katherine for what she really wants here.
Memories flashed into your kind again causing you to become lost in thought as you washed your hands.
“Goodnight Katerina. Sleep well.” you said, formally at her doorway. You were about to turn back around when she called out after you.
“Y/N, come in please,” she said.
You smiled to yourself softly, as you made your way into her room. You closed the door behind you as you sat next to her on the foot of her bed.
“Do you mind helping me take this off? The zipper’s stuck and I suppose my arms don’t reach that far back,” she suggested.
She looked at you with pleading eyes and you nodded softly. Slowly, unzipping her zipper and you did what you thought you’d never do in your life. Be bold.
You kissed the bare skin that became exposed on her back. She turned her head to look back at you and you could see the lust filling her eyes. She stood up and you followed her movement as the dress fell to the floor like a puddle.
And that’s when she turned you around, repeating the same actions you took. The only thing left on the two of you were the corsets. She cupped your cheeks ever so slightly.
“Are you sure about this?” this was probably the first time you’ve ever seen her gently and soft-spoken, “You’re a very beautiful girl Y/N, many more suitors are worthy of your love. Much more better suitors with their name and money.”
You pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, savoring in the way she tastes. The way her lips were so soft against yours, “What I’ve learned in my entire lifetime on this Earth and being a fallen angel is that falling in love with someone is falling in love with their soul. Not their money or their name, their soul.”
Yet another comforting kiss was pressed to her lips, “And I never found that. Until you, Katerina.”
You thought you were alone as you watched your hands when you could feel a presence behind you. In the mirror you could see her leaning her back against a bathroom stall.
“It’s been a while,” she spoke up and you nodded.
“A few thousand years, give or take.” you joked and she chuckled along with you.
She took a step closer to you, tucking the hair to behind your ears. You mirrored her images, following a step forward. The two of you only a breath apart.
“You kept your promise?” she asked you, moving her hands to cup your cheek. As if she was trying to memorize every little feature. From the way your eyes lit up at the sight of her or the way you were melting under her touch.
It was the morning after you and Katerina expressed your feelings for one another. In a more untraditional, intimate kind of way.
She was singing you a soft song in another language, which you’re assuming is Bulgarian. And the usual confident girl was playing with your hair, looking at your beautiful sleeping figure. She didn’t want to wake you up, but she was unsure if any of the workers were looking for you.
Then there was the fact that she had to go. She didn’t want to leave you, but earlier that night her insight told her Klaus was coming. She had to get as far away as she possibly could. So she pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
Your eyes fluttered up, smiling at the girl in front of you. But then ultimately frowning when you saw the same frown on her face.
“What’s wrong?” you asked softly.
“I must go Y/N. I’ve done things, things people don’t like. And they’re coming after me, so we must part ways. For my safety and yours.” she said and you look at her with eyebrows furrowed, “I promise you Y/N, the only I want right now is to lay here with you. Compel all these people and live our immortal lives, but I need to go.”
“Katerina, no,” your voice barely above a whisper.
She kissed your forehead, then your cheeks, the top of your nose, and finally your lips, “I promise you, I’ll find you one day. We’ll be together. But you need to promise me to stay safe. I would like you to be alive and well and waiting for me when I return.”
You didn’t know where this path would lead you. Every other path looked so certain, but this one was blurry. Yet, you nodded, “I promise, I’ll wait forever for you.”
“I did. I’d wait forever for you Katerina.”
She wrapped your arms around you and you did the same, holding the slightly taller girl closer to you. Relishing in the feeling of her touch, something you haven’t felt in thousands of years.
She swayed the two of you back and forth, “How about we go to the place I’m staying at?”
“Right now?” youvasked and she just hummed in response, “Let’s go.”
It probably wasn’t the best idea for you to not answer your phone when you left or to give them a heads up that you were heading home. But the gang became worried when you didn’t come back from the bathroom and Katherine disappeared as well.
But you were fine. You were just in a state of bliss. The way the two of you were just cuddled up in bed. Your head resting on her chest as she just held you, playing with the soft strands of your hair.
You began to fall asleep as she sang you the same Bulgarian song she once sang. Your eyes closed as you focused on her heartbeat and soothing voice.
Until someone came barging in through the door. Your eyes shot back open and the gang was standing there waiting to fight. Except for Bonnie who was shocked at what she was witnessing
Katherine groaned, “Can you all just go away? She’s not in any harm, I swear.”
“Wait. How do you know each other?” Alaric asked.
You knew she would handle this so you just continued to keep lying in the spot without saying a word, “We’ve met before, long before the two of you.” she pointed at the two brother.
“So are you two a thing?” Caroline asked, her eyebrows furrowed.
And you finally spoke up, “Yeah. We promised to wait for each other until we could actually meet again.”
“But she’s an actual bitch!” Damon exclaimed.
“Maybe in your eyes, Damon. But Katerina has a strong beautiful soul who has lost many things. I’m very willing to give all my love to her.” you told them.
All of them looked skeptic like she just compelled you. Until Bonnie finally spoke up, “Whatever you do Y/N, we’ll respect your decisions,” she said and you smiled at her gratefully.
Stefan took a few steps closer, “You hurt her in any way, I will not hesitate to stake you in the heart myself.”
Katerina didn’t say anything. All she did was stare right back at Stefan, “Can you guys please go now? You’re making the room smell like some weird stench.” The gang left much to Damon’s hesitation, “Now where were we?”
You got comfortable again in her strong embrace. She smiled at you softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, as she returned to sing the Bulgarian song.
“I love you, my Katerina.” you mumbled, lazily as your eyes fell close.
So you missed the wide smile that formed onto her face and the way her whole eyes were lit up. She hugged you back, tighter than ever, “And I love you, my beautiful soul.”

Riptide: Cole x Reader
-HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY NINJAGO!! -I write for females (just as a side note) because I’m a girl and it’s easy for me soooo yeah :/ -i know jay and cole are besties, but for this, let’s just say jay still likes to tease cole (friends do that anyway tho??)
Summary: Cole finds you at the beach trying to drown yourself. When he rips you out of the ocean, he realises you look familiar.
WARNINGS: Near-death (drowning)
Tumblr media
The waves quietly lapped against the edge of the sand, tickling Cole’s toes as he made his way across the wet grains. The moon stood high in the sky, shining brightly overhead like a lighthouse. Cole promised to catch up with the others, but he couldn’t rip himself away from the calm of the waves.
His heart stilled with the quiet waves, sinking into the wet sand like his feet. A cool breeze passed over his face and it brushed through his windswept hair. If only Ninjago could stay this calm. If only he could be like the ocean, free, never ending.
Cole found himself walking deeper into the ocean and away from the banks. The waves slowly met his ankles, then his knees. It soaked into his rolled up trousers, travelling up until he was waist deep. He didn’t worry about being so far out since it was low-tide. And even if he did find himself getting swept out to sea, he still had his powers.
Something softly splashed over to his left. He whipped around, immediately taking a defensive stance. As ineffective as it was, he’d rather be safe than sorry.
Cole eyed the smooth waters. He wondered if it was a shark, or worse, a mystical beast he never heard about. For a few moments, it was quiet, save for the waves, the calm breezes, and Cole’s steady breath. “Maybe it was a fish.” he whispered to himself with a chuckle. Something brushed his leg and he reared back with a squeal.
“Not a fish not a f--First Spinjitzu Master!”
The first thing Cole saw was a shirt, then a bundle of floating hair and a face hidden among it. He wanted to freak out, but a girl was laying in the sand underwater. Underwater. He plunged under the cool waves, wrapping his arms around the girl’s torso and hauling her up. “First Spinjitzu Master... First Spinjitzu Master...” Cole placed a hand on his earpiece.
“Guys! I found a girl in the ocean. She’s unconscious and...I don’t think she’s breathing. Come quick!”
“We’re on our way.” said Zane. The nindroid’s voice was a relief to hear. “We will arrive in five minutes, and as an extra precaution, I have phoned nine-one-one.”
“Okay, great, great.” As Cole laid the limp girl on the grainy sand, he frantically looked her up and down. Even through the curtain of hair plastered over her forehead, he could tell her face was unnaturally pale. So much, that it could have been a mirror of the bright moon.
It suddenly occurred to Cole that he had to do something. The girl wasn’t breathing and she’d die if he didn’t do something. “Gyah! I’m not the smart one!” He ran a hand over his face. There was one thing Zane did bother to teach everyone in the group, whether it be for civilian use or themselves. Cole pictured Zane standing by his side.
Place the heel of your palms on the centre of the chest.
Cole placed his hands on the centre of the girl’s chest.
Interlock your fingers. Remember to press two inches down.
Cole interlocked his fingers.
I have read somewhere that pressing down to the beat of Stayin’ Alive is said to ‘do the trick’ and make it easier.
And so Cole did just that. “Ha... Ha... Ha... Ha... Stayin’ alive... Stayin’ alive...” He wasn’t sure if it was working, or even if he was doing it right to begin with. How would pressing two inches down on someone’s chest do good? How would this save her from being killed?
Suddenly, she jolted upward, coughing and sputtering out a load of water right into Cole’s face. He didn’t care though. That meant the water had come out of her lungs, right? The danger had been avoided, at least for now.
“COLE!”
He whipped around, letting out a loud sigh of relief. Zane and Pixal took Cole’s place, reviewing her vitals and diagnosing her with whatever. He wasn’t sure what they were doing, so he stood off to the side as Jay babbled away. “What happened? Are you okay? How did you find the girl? You didn’t have to swim out there did you?”
Kai looked at Jay weirdly. “Do you think Cole would swim out that far to begin with? He probably found her washed ashore.” Cole wanted to say something, but he was in a daze. The more he thought about the girl, the more he wondered where he saw her from. It was like a smell you know you’ve smelled before but can’t put a name or memory to.
He ignored the background chatter and zeroed his gaze on her limp body as Zane carried her to the ambulance. When Zane turned around and motioned for him to come over, Cole finally came back to his senses. He could think about the girl later, right now, he had to answer some questions.
Three weeks later
“Urgh,” said Cole. “Why do I have to go with Jay?” Sensei Wu raised a brow at him as if to say, ‘really?’. “What is wrong with Jay?” he inquired. “He is a brother, and brothers should be respected.” Off to the side, Jay loudly applauded. “Period. Brothers should be respected, Cole.” He rolled his eyes with a sigh.
“Now,” Wu interjected. “I want you both to visit Jamanakai Village. You will find Mystake’s tea shop. Get these and only these.” He handed Cole an old drawstring bag. It had a label on the string, but the handwriting was so wonky that Cole couldn’t read it. “If she tries to kick you out, tell her I sent you. That is all, I expect you both back by Thursday.”
Jay let out a long groan. “Why can’t Kai do it? Or Zane? Or Lloyd?” He smugly glanced at Cole. “Or even my wonderful girlfriend Nya? I thought they were the responsible ones.” Wu raised a brow and Cole snickered. “You will both go to Jamanakai Village. That is final. While you are out, do not forget to eat and whatever you do, no Elemental Dragons and no vehicles. You will walk the entire way to the village, am I clear?”
“Yes, Sensei.”
To say the walk was gruelling was a nice way to put it. There were tens of thousands of other words Cole could have said to describe the terrible pain of having Jay around. Of course, he didn’t actually mean that, but hypothetically, the walk was terrible.
“You know,” said Jay, “these birds are said to have been exported from the Dark Island.” He pointed to a nearby tree, where three or four birds sat. Their oily wings were like liquid obsidian. Funnily enough, the colour matched both Cole’s gi and hair. He watched as one of them flew away, fluttering straight over his head and into the sky above.
Cole wondered if it would be nice to live life as a bird, but then he realised he wouldn’t have a bed or cake or chocolate and candy.
“I’m guessing they were exported before the Dark Island became...you know.” added Jay. “I mean, how could these cute little guys be from there?” He reached out to pet one of the birds. It squawked and bit his finger. “OW!” Jay rounded on the tiny bird, who actually appeared to be laughing. “Bad bird! That’s a no-no! You don’t bite people like that.”
Jay ripped off his glove and sucked on his poor finger. Cole stared at him as he whimpered. “Is it bleeding?”
“Gwee, I fondt knowh.”
Cole dug a hand in his pouch. He felt around and pulled out a band-aid along with a small alcohol wipe. “Here.” Jay took the band-aid and wipe, gingerly dabbing it on his wound and wrapping the band-aid around his finger. “Thanks.”
“Yeah.”
They continued on in a comfortable silence, caring only to watch the leaves sway in the wind. When they arrived in Jamanakai village, their feet were sore, and they were tired. Jay’s stomach grumbled, and so did Cole’s.
“I knew we should have eaten before we left.” Cole muttered. Jay let out a long yawn. “Sensei Wu said we were supposed to be back by Thursday. That’s three days away without video games. Do you think I can survive like this? Do you Cole?”
He wasn’t listening. A heavenly smell reeled him in like a fishing line. It was sweet, yet it smelled like green tea. Maybe it was cake; Cole hoped it was cake. “Do you smell that?” he seriously inquired. Jay knitted his brows together. “The bakery? Oh, it’s right there.” He pointed to a small shop to their left, where a girl stocked freshly baked cakes and buns.
Cole could already imagine how pillowy and soft the buns would be. They would have sweet fillings that melted in his mouth, and the cake would be the perfect texture with the right amount of cream. He made his way to the bakery, keeping a keen eye on the fresh chocolate cake.
“Cole, we’re not here to buy cake.” said Jay. “If we’re gonna eat, we might as well eat a real meal.” Cole rolled his eyes and pointed to a slice of chocolate cake. “I’ll take one of that, please.”
The cashier took out a pair of sparkling tongs. “Will that be all?” she inquired with a smile. “My grandma just finished steaming the buns, they’re fresh.” Cole whipped towards the cashier. For some reason, her voice sounded so familiar. It was again, like a smell that reminded him of something he couldn’t quite place. Sweet, nostalgic, kind.
That’s right, he thought. This was the girl he saved on the beach. But before then, he knew her as the studious (Y/n) (L/n) from the Marty Oppenheimer School of Performing Arts. When Cole had no one to talk to in class, she was there. When he forgot his lunch, she shared it with him. When he decided to run away, she promised not to forget him.
(Y/n) walked out from behind the counter. She handed Cole a bag of two containers. “It was you, wasn’t it?” Her voice was rather soft, like she were embarrassed anyone else would hear. “You saved me, on the beach.”
“Y-yeah, I did.” Was it just Cole or was it getting hot out here?  He didn’t need anyone to tell him his face had gone beet red. “Thank you Cole. I might have snuck ‘a few’ more cakes in the bag. That guy’s your friend, right? There are some buns in there for him too.”
Cole met (Y/n)’s bright eyes. They weren’t as lively as he remembered, but they still held that warm glow that always made him feel safe. “I--uh--(Y/n)...”
“Yeah?”
“Uh...do you still go to the Marty Oppenheimer School?” Do you want to hang out sometime? “I mean...uh...” How have you been? “T-thank you for the food.” He let out a nervous laugh and (Y/n) chuckled a little. “If you’re wondering, I graduated last year.” she said. Cole’s eyes widened. Had that much time already passed?
“I live in Ninjago City now.” she added. “I didn’t think I would make it this far, but I did. I’m here in Jamanakai for the next three months before I go back to the city. I heard you’ve been up to things too--ninja stuff. Saving lives.” She smiled at Cole, as if the two shared an inside joke.
“(Y/n)! Help me carry this, it’s too heavy for me!”
(Y/n) glanced over her shoulder. “One second, grandma!” She turned back to Cole and wrapped him in a tight hug. It was brief, it was sweet, and it made Cole remember just how close they used to be. “I have to get back to work. See you soon Cole?”
“Yeah.” he awkwardly replied. “See you soon.” He watched as she disappeared out back. When did he finally become taller than her? When had she actually spoken so nonchalantly? Last time he saw her, they were still kids. They were young, and even with responsibilities, they were still free.
“Sooooo, you’ve got yourself a girl?” inquired Jay. He took the bag from Cole and made his way over to the fountain. The two sat on the ledge as Jay sifted through the food. There were buns filled with red bean paste, lotus paste, and even barbeque pork. Under that were five different desserts. Two velvety chocolate cakes, one egg tart, and three pieces of perfectly wrapped mochi.
Jay took one of the meat buns. “Wow, this is really good. Tell your girlfriend to teach you how to cook.” Cole let out a short sigh. “She’s not my girlfriend, Jay. I haven’t even seen her in years.”
“What? Why?”
Cole closed one of the boxes. He dug around the bag for a fork, but he grasped a small slip of paper instead. Jay peered over Cole’s shoulder with wide eyes. “Ooooo she gave you her phone number? See! Dating. Case closed. I’m gonna tell everyone when we get back.”
“No you aren’t.” Cole retorted. “Like I said, I haven’t seen her in years. She probably only wanted to get back in touch.” Jay raised his brows and Cole elbowed him in the stomach. “Get your mind out of the gutter.” He pulled out one of the buns and took a big bite out of it. “We went to the same school together as kids. We became friends there, but when I ran away from home, we lost contact.”
“So go talk to her!” exclaimed Jay. “Before we go, I’m setting you both up on a date, or at least a night out together. We’re not going home on Thursday, got it? We’re staying ‘til Saturday and that’s final.” Cole raised a brow in amusement. “I thought you said you wanted to play video games.”
“If your girlfriend has a phone, then she has video games.” said Jay smartly. Cole let out a bright laugh. All he really knew now was that he’d have to come to Jamanakai Village more often.
NOTE: I will make a part two soon, so stay tuned! Tip jar

Training (Dr.Strange x Reader)
[Summary: After getting mugged a few nights ago, Dr. Stephen Strange, the sorcerer supreme, decides it’s important to teach you a thing or two. But as you start training with your friend, the two of you realize you might be closer than you originally thought. (She/her pronouns)
Warnings: blood, mentions of an attack, knife mention, swearing, insecurity
Request: From my request survey (https://forms.gle/2XeYLsGekCdFmQjD7)]
You stumbled into the New York Sactum late one night, your clothes dirty and the knees of your pants ripped. Your hands and knees were scraped from falling, a little blood dripping onto your clothes. There was a bit of blood dripping down you neck, too, soaking into your shirt where the blood met the fabric. It was really just sinking in that they had cut you.
You had been mugged, stopped on the street when you were walking alone by a knife pressed against your neck. And you when tried to fight back, gripping your bag as hard as you could, you were just hurt more. They had cut you just a little before ripping the bag from your hands and shoving you harshly to the ground. You hadn’t even gotten a good enough look at them to give any sort of description. Not that you planned on reporting this to the police anyway. You were friends with a literal superhero. There wasn’t really anything that they could do that Stephen couldn’t.
You were so tired by the time you made it to the sanctum. Your ankle felt like every step you took was a knife being shoved into the side of your ankle. And you supposed you a bit more of an expert on knife injuries than you were just moments before. You were limping pretty badly as you pushed the doors to the sanctum open. Honestly, you had started regretting putting your phone in your bag ages ago. You really wished that you could’ve just called Stephen to portal you somewhere.
Luckily for you, you didn’t have to try to hunt Stephen down, since he was just walking through the foyer as you stumbled in. He froze a bit when he saw you, his eyes gliding over your body, clocking every single one of your injuries. You wondered if this was how he looked at all of his patients before he worked back when he was a surgeon.
But you knew it wasn’t when the icy professionalism melted away into a warm worry that you knew his old self never really felt. He had been a lot more selfish back then. But he had grown quite a bit since then.
He was by your side in seconds, His hands, though a bit shaky, and not quite as strong as they used to be, were placed on your arms, moving your arm to rest over his shoulders so that he could guide you to one of the antique couches.
He was gentle with you as he sat you down, almost instantly working on cleaning and examining all of your injuries. He pulled first aid supplies out of seemingly no where, though you didn’t really question it. Lately, magic had become a pretty routine part of your life every time you visited Stephen. He cleaned all of your cuts and scrapes, carefully bandaging them all up. When he reached the one on your neck, his brows furrowed just a little, though he didn’t really say anything. Instead, he just continued his work.
“Is there anything else that hurts?” He asked, you could tell by his tone that he was holding back from scolding you until he knew that all of your injuries were treated. He knew he could be a bit harsh sometimes, and you knew that he’d rather you at least be fully taken care of before he made you upset enough to try to storm off. And something about that thought made your heart buzz.
“Just my ankle,” You muttered, “I think I twisted it a little.”
He nodded, still clearly biting his tongue. Almost literally at this point. He moved his hands carefully towards the ankle that you had indicated, slowly moving it, carefully watching for any signs of pain. The skin of his hands was textured in a way you had never felt before, and feeling it brush so carefully against the smooth skin of your ankle made your face heat up a bit.
“You definitely have a sprained ankle,” He stated, pulling compression tape out of thin air to start wrapping your ankle. His hands were still shaky, but there a quite a few things that he could do, because they weren’t even really considered tasks to him. He had done them so many times that with a bit of extra attention he could still do them with a little extra effort, “Now would you like to explain to me what exactly happened?”
“Well, as you know, we live in New York,” You started, causing him to roll his eyes in a way that you were pretty sure he had reserved exclusively for when you made jokes at inappropriate times, “And I got mugged. As you do. In New York.”
“Did no one ever teach you how to handle that situation?” he asked, exasperated, “You’re not supposed to fight back. I can literally just track down your bag and take it back. I have magic.”
“You know that’s not really how that goes with me, Stephen. And it’s not going to change any time soon,” You stated. You had always been much too stubborn for your own good. Which was how you managed to survive being friends with Dr. Stephen Strange.
He rolled his eyes at you yet again, “At least let me teach you a few things if you’re going to insist on getting into trouble.”
Your eyes lit up in seconds, and you could tell that he noticed, “Wait, for real? Are you offering to teach me magic?”
“Well,” It was sort of like you could see the wheels turning in his head. Like he was trying to figure out how to say what he was planning to say without ruining your good mood, “Maybe a little, but I was more thinking martial arts? Knowing you, if you start going around using magic against random petty thieves on the street, you’re going to end up getting in more trouble than all of the Avengers combined.”
You mulled over his words for a few seconds, before deciding that he was right. There were enough superpowered vigilantes in New York City, and they already got into enough trouble. And you knew very well that most of them weren’t as danger-prone as you were, “Fine, I suppose I’ll settle for martial arts.”
- - - - -
It was a few days before your first lesson. Stephen, pulling his “I’m a doctor” card, had insisted that you stay at the sanctum for a bit so that he could make sure that you were healing properly. He had already set up a spare room for you a while ago, considering the amount of times that you had tried to help him fine a certain piece of information in his library and ended up falling asleep on one of the couches at about two in the morning.
But it really wasn’t long before he cleared you to start your training. You had expected it to take him a lot longer to get around to teaching you anything. Between his studies, teaching the newest apprentices of the mystic arts, and having to constantly ensure that the universe and timeline weren’t going to fall apart any time soon, Stephen was a very busy man. In fact, most of the time that you managed to block out to spend time with him, you were either helping him study, grabbing a quick meal, or helping him tidy up the sanctum. But he actually managed to get around to your first lesson the day after he told you that you were healed enough to go back to your own place.
It was a chilly Saturday afternoon. The weather was just starting to turn a little cold. Not cold enough to be anything you really needed to worry about, but it was cold enough that you decided to put on a sweatshirt before walking to the sanctum. By the time you got there, your knuckles had started to show a bit of red and your nose was a bit cold. But you managed to ignore it, choosing instead to focus on your excitement to start training with your friend. Your mind had been wandering to how this might go almost constantly for the whole morning.
You had been thinking about what you would be learning. Stephen had told you that the first thing he was going to teach you was how to use a sling ring. That way perhaps you could just avoid conflict.
You were definitely fantasizing a little. Imagining things that obviously weren’t going to happen. In your mind you pictured yourself getting it on the first try, revealing yourself as some sort of magical prodigy. You pictured Wong and Stephen praising you, talking to you like you were even a little bit as impressive as a majority of the people that they talked to on a daily basis. Stephen, smiling at you with a smile that you were pretty sure you’ve really only seen in the rare romance movie with good acting, telling you how amazing you were.
You stopped yourself before you imagined something you couldn’t just write off as needing praise. And in order to prevent your mind from wandering back to where it had been going, you decided to rush just a bit to the sanctum, managing to make it there before you ran out of other thoughts to keep your mind occupied. You took a deep breath, hoping to reset your brain before you opened the doors into the foyer.
Stephen had been waiting the foyer for you. You weren’t sure how long he had been waiting there, but you couldn’t help but smile when you saw him. He gave you a soft smile too. He had been a lot more open with caring about people since he took over the New York Sanctum, though he was still pretty walled off. He had changed a lot, but he was still Stephen, and there were a few things that were never going to change. And something about that, and the fact that you knew him well enough to know that, warmed your heart just a little.
“Alright, there’s a little field in the middle of no where that I portal to when I want to try out new spells sometimes that I think we should probably go there. Just in case,” He explained as you walked up to him. He seemed to be standing taller and the look on his face was one that you recognized from when he was teaching classes. You had to fight a little bit to keep your mind from wandering off to somewhere you didn’t want it to go as his deep, commanding voice reached your ears. He was definitely in teacher mode, and you really couldn’t say you had any reason to complain. Except for the fact that it was a little harder than usual to hide the fact that your face was beginning to heat up.
“Yeah, that’s probably a good idea,” You replied, trying your best to hide any sort of unevenness in your voice with your regular cheerfulness.
- - - - -
It didn’t take more than half an hour of training without results for all of your excitement to fade away. Stephen had tasked you with trying to create a portal back to the foyer. He had gone over how to do it, too. The visualization, the hand motion, everything. And still, you couldn’t manage to summon a portal.
“God fucking dammit,” You shouted, throwing your hands up into the air. You felt like an idiot. You had just been standing in a field for half an hour, spinning your hand in an attempt to create a doorway of sparks out of thin air. You knew it was possible, too, which was driving you even more insane. What was wrong with you that you couldn’t get this?
“Hey, whoa,” Stephen walked over just as you were about to through the ring in anger, stopping you just in time, “You’re really not doing all that bad. It takes time to get it down. You’ll figure it out.”
He placed one of his hands on your shoulder, the trembling stopping as it pressed against your arm. You could eel your skin heating up under his hand, and you really hoped he wouldn’t notice.
“Yeah, right,” You said, sitting down cross-legged in the plash grass that was surrounded you, “How long did this take you? Five minutes?”
He chuckled, taking a seat next to you. The deep rumble in the back of his throat when he laughed was one of your favorite sounds. It was like a thunderstorm, but specifically a thunderstorm when you were wrapped in a blanket, reading a book that you loved, “Actually, I didn’t figure out how to do this until my mentor abandoned me on Mt. Everest.”
“Wait, really?” The surprise was less about him being abandoned on Everest and more about him not figuring this out right away. He was so talented and learned everything so fast. He was the smartest person you had ever met, and you admired him more than you had ever admired anyone in your life.
“I know that I get talked up a lot, but I’m really only good at this because of all the reading I do,” He laid back, his cloak wrapping itself around him a bit as he lounged on the ground. You had never seen him like this. Stephen Strange was a man with the weight of the world on his shoulder, gray hairs on the sides of his head well-earned. But as he laid down next to you, sprawled out on the ground among the grass and a few tiny flowers, you felt as though there could never be anything wrong in the world as long as Stephen was beside you.
“Oh, please,” You flopped back, surprised by how soft the pillow of grass was, “You’re so talented at everything you try. Honestly, Stephen, I can’t think of a single thing you couldn’t do if you put your mind to it.”
“Is that really what you think about me?” a hint of insecurity seeped into his voice, a tone you had never heard from him before. He had always been so unwaveringly confident before.
“Of course it is, Stephen,” You turned a bit to face him. His brows were furrowed as he stared at the sky, clouds reflected in his eyes, “You’re one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. Honestly, sometimes I feel like you’re so amazing that I’m barely worth your time.”
That last sentence came out pretty sheepishly, quietly enough that for a moment you had the slightest bit of hope that maybe he didn’t hear you. That hope was quickly extinguished, though, as he turned to you, his eyebrows raised as though you had said something entirely unbelievable.
“Barely worth my time?” He exclaimed, as though I had just insulted him, “If anyone here isn’t worth this time, it’s me. (Y/n), I’ve been such a jerk. I was cruel to you for a good majority of our friendship. I honestly don’t know how you stand me.”
You knew he had been having some self-worth issues since his accident. He had lost everything, or what he thought was everything. But you had never seen the pain so clearly in his eyes before.
“Stephen, I know you’re not the person you were right after your accident. You’re not even the person you were before it. You’re Dr. Stephen Strange, master of the mystic arts. The savior of the earth more times than I even know about. The only person that ever offered to teach me how to defend myself. The person the patched me up after I got mugged. The person that carries me to my guest bed when I fall asleep in the library,” By the end of the rant, you had realized what you truly meant.
You had fallen in love with Stephen since he had come back. He had grown so much as a person, changing for the better. And as you got to know this new Stephen, a person that despite still seeming cold and arrogant had learned how much good he was capable of. A person that, for the first time in a long time, remembered what it felt like to do things for others without needing any sort of reward.
And as you look back to his eyes, which were staring at you, wide with shock, you realized that you couldn’t keep it to yourself much longer, “I love you, Stephen. I love the person you’ve grown to be.”
You really hadn’t realized, but his face was much closer to yours than you expected it to be. You could smell his cologne, a warm scent, like a chai latte from a nice cafe mixed with the smoke that always seemed to cling to his clothes. You could feel his eyes, flickering down to your lips. The world around you felt like it was both slowing down and speeding around you. Like time was irrelevant as you laid there, staring into his crystal clear eyes.
Finally, the moment broke as he closed the gap between you, his lips softly touching your own. They were softer than you expected them to be, though his beard was a bit rough against your face. It was gentle, caring, and timid. Things that never would have been associated with the old Dr. Strange.
He went to pull back after a few seconds, though your arms seemed to move without you telling them to. You had been waiting fo this so much longer than you even really knew, you had bottled up these feelings for so long. You pulled him back by the collar of his shirt, pulling his body to hover over your own a bit. It was nearly instinctive, the feeling of needing to be as close to him as you could be. You had been forcing yourself to stay at a distance, and it felt as though that first kiss broke the dam.
It was a few more moments before you allowed him to pull away again, finally loosening your grip on his clothing. The way he looked at you was something that you were pretty sure you never could’ve imagined, like you were the center of the universe. Like out of all the beautiful things in the world that he had seen, you were the only one he ever wanted to see.
You were both silent for a few moments, just taking in what had just happened. It took you a few moments to fully take in that it was real. And then a few more moments to convince yourself that this wouldn’t stop being real the second the two of you got up.
“We really should get back to training,” he finally broke the silence, a smirk plastering itself onto his face, “You only got half an hour into a four-hour lesson.”

Yoichi~Main Story Chapter 1~
Tumblr media
Since someone else has started translating Yoritomo’s route, I think you guys wouldn’t mind if I stop translating his route, right? (even though I personally don’t want to!!!). So I’ll start with Yoichi. And I’ll tell you, Yoichi’s route is hella awesome. Like, if you want a love story involving falling in love with an enemy and angst, I highly recommend this one. No wonder he reached 2nd place in the general election right after his route was released. Yoichi-san daisuki!!!!

--------Part 1---------
(I’m going to collect the mystical powers that are required to cancel my pact with Tamamo….and I will definitely open my own pharmacy!)
While thinking about my ordinary lovely life, I looked straight with all the courage I could muster.
Yoshino: “Please take care of me, everyone!”
Yoritomo: “Oh yeah. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you at work.”
(I’m sure I’m about to experience something that will change my life.)
A feeling of foreboding crept into my heart.
............
(.....And I was right!!)
Yoshino: “A few days later, Yoshino is wandering around the palace, feeling unruly...”
(I’m so bored that I’m muttering silly things to myself....!)
(It’s good that I’m getting used to living in Kamakura a bit, but I’m still nervous about staying here.)
Yoshino: “Oh well, maybe I’ll just go and see the town to take my mind off things.”
While stepping down the boarded-up corridor...
Tumblr media
Kagetoki: “Oh, Yoshino.”
Shigehira: “.......................”
Yoshino: “Oh, hello, Kagetoki-san and Shigehira-san!”
I stopped and bowed to the two men who were walking towards me.
Kagetoki: “Do you have somewhere to be?”
Yoshino: “It’s just a stroll. Oh, if there’s anything I can do for you, just let me know.”
(I’m ready to do anything!)
Kagetoki: “No, oh and by the way, you’ve been drunkenly volunteering to do the palace’s chores, haven’t you?”
Yoshino: “You think so? I just thought it would be a bit awkward for staying here without doing anything.”
Shigehira: “That’s so you. But do you realize when the war starts, you’re going to die anyway?”
Shigehira-san frowned unpleasantly.
Shigehira: “Maybe you should practice running away if you have time to do chores.”
(You look beautiful, but you’re very strict...)
Kagetoki: “Shigehira. Don’t speak so coldly.”
Yoshino: “Kagetoki-san!”
(I thought he is scary but seems like he’s unexpectedly k---)
Kagetoki: “She used a country girl before he came to Kamakura. Of course, she has learned to run through fields and mountains in her entire life. Her legs must already be strong.”
Yoshino: “Hey! I know I come from a rural town, but don’t make fun of me!”
(----Forget what I thought about you earlier! You’re not kind at all.)
Kagetoki: “I was just kidding.”
Without the slightest change of expression, Kagetoki-san says this.
Yoshino: “It’s hard to understand whether you were serious or joking.”
Kagetoki: “I hear that a lot. Aside from practicing your ‘escape’, you may spend the rest of the day as you like until the war. Fortunately, there has been no significant activity in Hiraizumi as yet.”
(Good, thank god we’re not fighting any time soon. But....)
Yoshino: ”How did you know about that?”
Kagetoki: “Because we have send secret agents on their side.”
(Secret agent?)
Yoshino: “What is a secret agent?”
Tumblr media
Shigehira: “Kagetoki-san’s ‘secret agents’ are those who seek information about the enemy and do undercover work. I personally don’t know how they always manage to sneak into the enemy territory.”
Kagetoki: “That’s why they’re called ‘Secret Agents.”
Putting his index finger lightly to his lips, Kagetoki-san nodded his head nonchalantly.
Kagetoki: “You wouldn’t call someone a secret agent if they’re easily found out, right?”
Yoshino: “So that’s how it is...”
I said that to myself, feeling half admiration.
Kagetoki: “And also, the Rebels also have sent secret agents to our side, so we’re even.”
------Part 2------
Kagetoki: “And also, the Rebels also have sent secret agents to our side, so we’re even. “
(Eh)
Yoshino: “And you’re going to pretend that you don’t know anything?”
Kagetoki: “No problem. They can’t do anything flashy anyway.”
Shigehira: “I’m just saying it’s not funny, but it’s not something I’m going to go out my way to find out.”
Yoshino: “I see...”
(Both Kagetoki-san and Shigehira-san are very calm, even though they know the enemy is close at hand.)
(Is that as normal as it gets for two samurai?)
It’s a little disconcerting to see the difference between us and those who fight for a living.
I suddenly remembered how tense the air was when I first met these two people.
-------FLASHBACK-------
Benkei: “Kajiwara Kagetoki.....you bastard! I hope you’re ready to die, now that you’re showing that face to me.”
Kagetoki: “You still bark as usual, huh? Musashibo Benkei.”
Benkei: “Shut up, you outcast.”
Yoichi: “Heyaa~Young master. You’re here too, huh.”
Shigehira: “Nasu no Yoichi, you sound like you’re complaining. Is my presence inconvenient for you?”
Yoichi: “Of course I do. Seeing you makes me even more sluggish. But we too have some score to settle, don’t we? Taira no Shigehira.”
Shigehira: “.....Yeah, I won’t deny that.”
-------FLASHBACK ENDS------
(At that time, both Kagetoki-san and Shigehira-san were in a much more tense mood than now.)
(Maybe, it’s because they were in front of Benkei-san and Yoichi-san...)
Kagetoki: “Oh dear, Yoshino. Why do you look like a sleepy raccoon?”
Yoshino: “Raccoon...? No, I was thinking something seriously.”
Shigehira: “....you mean spacing out?”
Yoshino: “How embarrassing...”
(Let’s just quickly divert the topic from my face...)
Yoshino: “The Rebels, Benkei-san and Yoichi-san....do you personally know them?”
Tumblr media
Shigehira and Kagetoki: “............”
(Maybe I shouldn’t have asked?)
The silence that immediately ensued was heavy.
It was Kagetoki-san who opened his mouth first.
Kagetoki: “Yeah, Benkei and I knew each other. There was a time when we called each other friends.”
Yoshino: “Friends...”
(And now they’re so deadly as enemies?)
Kagetoki: “The relationship between Shigehira and Yoichi is older than that between me and Benkei.”
Shigehira: “......Yeah.”
Shigehira-san bites his lips tightly as if he is enduring something.
Shigehira: “Yoichi-san....No, Nasu no Yoichi. I have known him for a long time.”
Yoshino: “Oh.....”
(You sound like you’re in pain.)
(As I said, I’m not in the mood to ask any more questions.)
Tumblr media
In my mind’s eye, I see again the image of the enemy general I met that night.
(Yoichi-san was a man with a unique and loose atmosphere.)
(But in front of Shigehira-san, he looked surprisingly tense.)
---------Part 3--------
(Yoichi-san was a man with a unique and loose atmosphere.)
(But in front of Shigehira-san, he looked surprisingly tense.)
(....I don’t know anything about my enemies or my friends, do I?)
I consciously cut off the thoughts that were beginning to wander in a strange direction.
Yoshino: “I’m sorry to go into this so suddenly. I’ll be leaving then. .”
Kagetoki: “Yes. Come back before it’s too late. Okay?”
.................
(I’m still glad I got out!)
Just walking through the glamorous streets is enough to make my heart skip a beat.
Yoshino: “Wow, beautiful!”
The shopkeeper smiles at me as I look at the items on display.
Shop owner: “You’ve got a good eye, sister! That’s a bargain.”
(The price is also reasonable. Maybe I should buy it.)
Yoshino: “I’ll have one.”
As and when I took out my purse containing copper coins----
Yoshino: “Ohh!!”
Tumblr media
Boy: “................”
He thumped me on the shoulder and snatched my purse from the side.
(No way!?)
A ten-year-old boy runs away through the crowd with my purse.
Yoshino: ”Hey you! Give that back!”
I ran in a hurry and followed the little back.
..........
(What should I do? I’m going to lose him...)
I run and run, but I can’t catch up and I’m out of breath.
Suddenly a figure appeared from the corner of my eye.
Yoshino: “Please, catch that boy!”
I shouted this to the face which I couldn’t see clearly because of the backlight...
???: “Sure.”
(Ah...? That voice...)
He nods his head, his voice languid, but with a smile.
Boy: “Let go! Let go!!”
Tumblr media
Yoichi: “Alas, the capture is complete. Oh, dear. You’re a lively little one.”
Yoshino: “It’s you!”
(It’s him----)
Yoichi: “Nasu no Yoichi, from the Rebel army. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Yoshino.”
Grabbing the boy by the scruff of the neck and leaving him hanging, the enemy general--- Nasu no Yoichi smiled wryly.
(Why is this guy here in Kamakura....?)
Boy: “What are you?”
Yoichi: “Stop going crazy kid. We’re in a middle of an emotional reunion.”
Watching me gasp for breath, Yoichi-san mischievously puts the index finger of his one hand over his lips.
(You mean, I’m not supposed to say anything? But...)
Yoichi: “O.K.”
Boy: “Ah.”
He takes my purse from the boy and threw it carelessly at me.
Yoichi: “Here.”
I reflexively catch my purse with both hands.
Yoichi: “It’s yours, right?”
Yoshino: “How did you..?”
Yoichi: “I happened to see you on the main street and I saw him stealing your purse. Then, I caught him, before you. But you’re a fast runner, I’m impressed.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. I’m surprised.(+4/+4)
2. I don’t mean that...(+4/+4)
3. Impressed...?(+4/+4)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yoshino: “I’m not impressed....I was surprised.”
Yoichi: “Hehe...You’ve also got a cute face too.”
(What should I do?)
Yoshino: “....And why did you bothered to help me?”
Tumblr media
Yoichi: “Isn’t it obvious? Because yours truly very kind.”
Yoichi-san, who said this without any hesitation, had an aloof smile on his face.
(Should I run away? But I can’t leave the kid behind.)
(And...of course, he helped me too.)
After some hesitation, I bow my head, keeping my distance.
Yoshino: “...Um..Th-Thank you very much.”
Yoichi: “You’re welcome?”
-------Part 4------
Yoshino: “...Um..Th-Thank you very much.”
Yoichi: “You’re welcome?”
(I’d really like to find out more about why he’s here....)
But I glanced at the boy being held by Yoichi-san and gave up.
(Okay...let’s solve the problems one at a time.)
Yoshino: “Hey, you’re about ten years old, aren’t you? Why would you steal from people like that?”
Boy: “............”
I look at him and ask him a question, but he pressed his lips together and stayed silent.
Yoichi-san, who had been watching us with amusement, raised the corner of his mouth in a grin.
Yoichi: “If he’s not saying anything, it’s probably for the silliest of reasons, isn’t it? I was hungry, I wanted sweets, something like that.”
Boy: “No it isn’t!!”
Yoichi: “No?”
The boy shouts at Yoichi-san’s words which seem to be deliberately poking fun at him.
Boy: “My father is possessed by a demon....and I needed money for his cure.”
Yoshino: “Demon....?”
Yoichi: “----What are you talking about, kid?”
The boy looked at us warily but opened his mouth.
Tumblr media
Boy: “Dad’s been sick for a while now and has been lying on the floor...we brought a reputable shaman and he confirmed that my dad is possessed by a demon. He said that he would cure my dad but he also said that it would take a lot of prayers to heal him....”
Yoichi: “And his fee is costly for you...?”
With tears in his eyes, the boy silently asks for help.
Boy: “Sorry! I was desperate. I’m sorry.”
Yoshino: “....So that’s why.”
(And yet, a demon. I don’t know if I’d have believed it before....)
(-----If it’s the work of a demon, my powers would help, right?)
The thought naturally comes to my mind and I frowned.
(But...I’m a little scared.)
After hesitating, I stared straight at the boy.
Yoshino: “Hey, what is your name?”
Yashichi: “....Yashichi.”
He seems to be a good kid at heart, judging by the way he answered honestly, even though his eyebrows were raised.
Yoshino: “Yashichi-kun, can you take me to see your father? I might be able to help you.”
Yashichi: “Ah! You’ll help!....but what can you do?”
Yoshino: “I have to meet him first....I’m a pharmacist, and I think having me there would be better than you stealing money from another again.”
I tell him that while hiding the fact that I have a different ability.
Yoichi: “Not everyone who gets caught is as nice as her, don’t you think?”
After a moment of silence, Yashichi-kun tugged the hem of my kimono.
Yashichi: “.....okay. I’ll do anything. So please help me! I’ll also be ready if you’re planning to....hand me over to the officials.”
Yoshino: “I understand your situation....so just promise not to steal again, okay?”
I looked at the boy with a serious expression.
Yashichi: “I promise. I won’t do it again.”
(Looks like you trust me for now.)
(Now, what about Yoichi-san?)
Yoichi: “Okay then, let’s go.”
Yoshino “Eh!?”
Yoichi: “You’re going to his house, right?”
Yoshino: “Yeah, I am. Why are you coming?”
Yoichi: “I’m curious.”
--------Part 5--------
Yoichi: “I’m curious.”
I look at Yoichi-san with a confused face.
(What should I do?)
Yoshino: “Yashichi-kun, can you go ahead and wait for me outside? I’ll be there in a minute.”
Yashichi: “Okay.”
Yashichi-kun looked at us curiously but started to walk away.
After making sure he’s completely out of sight, I looked back at Yoichi-san.
Yoshino: “Um...what are you planning to do there? Didn’t you approach me for something else?”
Yoichi: “Maybe, but personally...I don’t care what happens to you. But if ordered, I’ll kidnap you without a second thought. You’ve got to do what your lord told you to, right?”
(....! that’s right!)
As I backed away, Yoichi-san waved his hand at my face.
Yoichi: “Don’t be so alarmed. I said if I’m ordered to. Don’t worry, while I’m in Kamakura, no one here gives me orders.”
Yoshino: “No no no, even if you say that....I don’t feel safe around you.”
Yoichi: “I came to Kamakura only on a reconnaissance mission. That means I’m not allowed to stand out. Even if I were to kidnap you and escape from Kamakura, I’m sure I’d be stopped at one of the gates before long. It’s not like Yoritomo didn’t do anything about it.”
(Come to think of it, Kagetoki-san said that even if there is a secret agent from the Rebel army, he or she can’t make any flashy moves.)
Yoichi: “Even if I kill you here quickly, I’ll be caught by the soldiers soon enough....and above all, Yoshitsune-sama doesn’t want that.”
Yoshino: “Oh.”
(Yoshitsune-sama...)
I remembered those icy cold two-colored eyes and I wonder....
(But that night....)
------FLASHBACK-------
Yoshitsune: “I have nothing against you personally, and I cannot bear to involve a woman in a bloody conflict. If you leave here, I won’t take your life. But....you’ll have to leave the fox behind.”
------FLASHBACK ENDS------
(-----Yoshitsune-sama now has a reason to kill me.)
Yoichi: “I see that you’re convinced. Good.”
Yoshino: “No, wait!”
I impatiently stopped Yoichi-san, who was about to walk away, deciding in a sluggish voice.
Yoshino: “I get that you have no intention of harming me for the time being...but I don’t understand, why you showed up in front of me today. You wouldn't show up in front of me, much less follow me, right?”
Yoichi: “Haa....”
Tilting his head slightly, Yoichi-san smiled faintly.
Yoichi: “Wanna know? I was planning to keep it a secret, but since you’re so curious....come here.”
(What is he thinking?)
I bit my lip and moved away.
(But, I can’t leave this question unanswered...)
Yoichi: “What? Don’t wanna?”
Yoshino: “...Okay, fine.”
Yoichi: “You got balls, that’s nice.”
We were inching closer and closer.
Yoichi: “I’ll praise you for your courage. And as if for why I showed up in front of you is because.....”
(Ah)
His one hand pulled my shoulder and he brings his lips close to my ear.
Yoichi: “.....I’m interested in this girl named Yoshino.”
Yoshino(blushing): “...W-What!?”
His sweet voice touches my ears directly and my skin heats up.
Yoichi: “What is she like, what does she think, and how does she act....I wanna know her from start to finish.”
(....I don’t know what you mean, but....)
(You’re an enemy, so I shouldn’t get carried away!)
Yoshino: “Please stop joking!”
I trembled as his breath touches the edge of my ears.
Yoichi: “I really am serious. Well, of course, I’d also like to see your powers close up too, you know.”
Tumblr media
Yoichi: “.....so, I hope you’ll be interested in me too.”
Yoshino: “.....I can’t do that.”
Yoichi: Oh really?”
Yoichi-san chuckles, not seeming to mind my rejection.
Yoichi: “Awww, that makes me sad....”

“Yes, Zach. For the thousandth time, we will be fine. We will wake up on time for school, I’m making dinner, I know what to do,” you tried to hide your annoyment as you and Derek stood by the front door, helping Zach out.
Before Derek moved in, Zach would go help hunters more frequently, but it had been a while since he went. You had missed your freedom.
“Fine, I know. One last thing. (Y/N) no hunts and no parties,” he raised an eyebrow while you rolled your eyes.
“Yes, I know. Goodbye, Zach,” you said again.
“Derek, you’re in charge,” you saw him smirk as you sighed.
“Of course. We’ll see you soon Mr.Salvatore,” you scrunched your face before shaking your head.
“Bye, Zach,” he sighed, before waving to both of you, grabbing his bag, and leaving.
You closed the door behind him, letting out a sharp exhale.
“I thought he’d never leave. Okay, so, this is the plan. Stefan comes back in town with your sister on Saturday, the day before Zach comes home. That gives us about five days of freedom,” you started.
You saw him scoff, crossing his arms.
“Is there a problem?” you raised an eyebrow.
“Zach isn't that bad, you know,” Derek replied.
“You've known him for like a month You don't know him at all. He doesn't let me hunt,” you rolled your eyes.
“Well, you know, maybe he’s just trying to look out for you,” Derek started.
“Yeah, sure. Anyway, I found a hunt-” you saw as he rolled his eyes before continuing.
“I’m gonna leave tonight and I should be back later tonight. If something changes I’ll text you,” you said.
“We have school tomorrow,” he said.
“It’ll be fine,” you replied.
“I don't know about this, (Y/N),” you saw him getting nervous as you groaned loudly.
“You don't always have to be a good kid, you know. I’m kind of annoyed of Zach comparing us all the time,” you crossed your arms.
“Yeah, except you're the one with straight A’s and I’m the one who’s struggling to maintain a C-Average. Also, if I get too upset, I can kill someone,” he said.
“So can I, you’re not special,” you saw him chuckle, before making his way to the couch.
“I have to go pack and train for a bit, I’ll catch you before I leave?”
He nodded, while you gave him a small wave before running out the front door.
---
You put your bag on the floor walking around the house to look for Derek.
“Hey, where’d you go?” you walked around the house, calling out for Derek.
You didn't get a reply, but you heard a noise coming from the basement.
“Derek?” you walked to the basement door, taking a few steps before Derek ran to you, bumping into the wall.
“What are you doing down there?” you asked.
“Don’t worry about it,” he was out of breath as he gave you a small smile.
“You know, if you break something-” you started.
“I'm not going to break anything,” he said.
“When are you leaving?” he asked.
“In like 5 minutes. I wanted to say bye. Are you sure you’re okay?” you could hear his shaky breathing as you frowned.
“I’m fine. I’ll see you in a bit,” he said.
“Yeah… see you later,” you waved before he nodded his head, running back downstairs.
Weird
You shook it off, making your way back up and to your car.
---
The streets were dead, there was one or maybe two other cars out on the road with you, while you felt calm and ready. However, you couldn't get Derek out of your head.
You knew something was off, and you couldn't put your finger on it.
You decided to call him once more.
“Hello?” his voice sounded in pain as you tensed up.
“Are you okay?” he hesitated before answering.
“I was training,” he said.
“At this time? It’s like 8 or something,” you raised an eyebrow.
“Well… I had nothing else to do. Is everything okay?” he asked.
“Yeah, what are you doing tonight?”
“I'm training and then going to bed,” he said.
“Okay… I’ll see you tomorrow,” you hung up the call, while you pulled over to the side of the road.
Something still felt off. You couldn't turn around now, so you decided to call Emily.
You waited for a few seconds, about to hang up before she picked up, out of breath.
“Hello?” she said.
“Are you okay?” you asked.
“Yeah, I was just with Dean, and-”
“Never mind!” you cut her off, before shaking your head.
“Can you two do me a favor?” you asked.
“Sure, what do you need?”
“I had to run out to… run some errands and I kinda left Derek by himself. Would you mind going over and hanging out with him for a little?”
“First, come up with a better lie. Second, it’s a school night, (Y/N),” Emily started.
“Please? I’ll get you coffee tomorrow,” you promised.
“I just texted Derek, and he said he’s going to bed,” you heard Dean’s voice in the background.
“Okay, nevermind then,” you sighed.
“You’re still getting us coffee?”
“Not a chance. See you tomorrow,” you hung up the phone, sighing.
It was probably your imagination. You shook your head, heading back on the road before driving off.
---
You looked at the clock, seeing it was now 9, and a few hunters were meeting you in half an hour.
You got out of the car, making sure you had your blades before getting a call from Zach as you tensed up.
“Hello?” you asked, picking it up.
“I’m on my way back, is Derek okay?” your eyes went wide.
“He’s…” you froze before remembering.
Tonight was a full moon.
Crap!
“He’s okay. He’s doing fine,” you lied.
“Are you with him?” Zach asked.
You quietly put your things back into your car, mentally scolding yourself.
“Yeah, he’s fine. You don’t need to come back,” you said.
“No, I think I do,” Zach replied.
“I have it under control. Zach, other people need your help,” you said.
“But Derek-”
“Everything’s fine! I gotta go now, okay?” you raised your voice slightly.
“Fine! Just tell me if anything happens,” he said.
“Yes, I will, bye,” you quickly hung up, starting up your car before racing home.
---
You ran out of your car, running to the basement as fast as you could.
“Derek!” you yelled, running to him.
“Stay back!” his eyes were blue as you tensed slightly.
You knew that blue eyes meant for his type of werewolf. You could see his fangs coming out of his mouth, while there were chains wrapped around his body. He tied himself to a door while your face dropped.
That wasn't a bright idea.
“Derek, take a deep breath,” you were unsure of what to do, but you had to start somewhere.
“How are you supposed to stop this?!” you exclaimed.
“I need an anchor. A-A person… A-A feeling,” he slumped back, taking deep breaths as he went quiet.
“I don’t…” your voice drifted off, thinking.
There weren’t many people left in Derek’s life.
“What about your sister? She's been with you through so much,” you saw him try and reach for you as you jumped back, the chains stopping him.
He kept his eyes facing down, while you could hear his breath laboring.
“Derek?” you said softly.
He yelled out in pain, struggling against the chains as you took a few steps back.
You could see them bending, as you tensed up, looking for any of your non-lethal weapons. They were all upstairs and you wouldn't risk leading him there, giving him a chance to escape.
You heard something break as you took a deep breath, seeing Derek break free from the chains as your heart rate increased.
You felt something against your back, while you turned quickly, seeing a fire extinguisher behind you.
Really?
He was on you in a second, pushing you against the wall.
This is a bad idea
You placed your hands on the fire extinguisher, quickly picking it up before using all your strength to swing it, hitting Derek in the head.
He fell to the side, unconscious as you let out a breath of relief.
---
You leaned on your hand, staying awake while waiting to make sure Derek was okay. You took a pair of handcuffs, tying him up to the A/C to keep him cold.
He saw him scrunch his eyes in uncomfort, while he groaned softly.
He rubbed his head, before stopping, realizing there was a chain.
“Did you… Did you hit me in the head with a fire extinguisher?” he groaned, massaging his head.
You immediately sat up, holding a knife up.
“Yeah, I did. I kind of freaked out after seeing your eye color,” you said.
He opened his eyes, before sighing.
“(Y/N),” he started.
“Who did you kill?” you asked.
“I-I didn't mean to-” he started.
“I didn't ask what you meant to do. Answer me,” his eyes watered slightly as he looked up at you.
“My girlfriend,” your face softened as those words fell from his mouth.
You put your knife down, before bending down to sit across from him.
“What happened?” you asked softly.
More and more tears came to his eyes as he sniffled softly.
“Hey,” you sat next to him, stroking his face softly.
“I’m not talking about this with you,” he said.
“Derek…” you started.
“Either take this handcuff off of me or leave, (Y/N).”
You could see more and more tears fill up his eyes as you undid his chains, giving him a soft look.
He stood up, rubbing his wrists as you stood up behind him.
“Derek,” you said again.
“Leave me alone,” he sat on his bed, keeping his back towards you.
You walked to him, putting your hand on his shoulder as he shrugged it off.
“I know we haven't even known each other for long, but-”
“I killed her, okay? I killed my girlfriend. She’s dead and it’s all my fault. Is that what you wanted to hear?” for the few weeks you’d known Derek, he never talked to anyone like this.
You could hear anger and pain in his voice.
“I’m-” you started, at a loss for words.
“Just go,” you nodded your head, before making your way to the door.
“Derek,” you turned to face him once again.
“(Y/N) get the fuck out of my room! Get out! Leave me alone!” you heard him telling as you clenched your jaw.
You turned to look at him once again, while he buried his face into his pillow.
You felt guilt washing over you before you left his room. No matter how long you spent with each other, you always seemed to end up doing Derek more bad than good.
---
“Knock knock,” you looked up from your bed, giving Derek a small smile as you saw him standing in your doorway.
“Hey,” you said.
It was nearly 7 in the morning, and it was time to get ready for school. However, you found yourself sitting on your bed, reading a book.
“Can I-” he motioned next to you while you nodded, putting the book down and turning to him.
“I’m sorry about last night,” he said softly.
“Don't worry about it. I shouldn't have been prying,” you replied.
You turned slightly to face him while he took a seat next to you.
“A lot of things happened this past year,” he started.
“You don't need to explain yourself,” you said.
“I do. I just… I wanted to… Paige is, was the first person I ever liked. I wanted her to be with me forever, and my uncle got into my head. He convinced me that I needed to get an alpha to turn her into a werewolf and when… she didn't make it. She was in a lot of pain and in the end she was begging me to kill her,” you saw his eyes water as you gave him a sorrowful look, before wrapping your arms around him.
“I ended up getting my family killed… I started dating this other girl, and she was a hunter. She burned my entire family down,” you tensed slightly, feeling a wave of familiarity hit you.
“You can’t blame yourself for other’s faults. She probably would've burned down your house anyway, with or without you. I blame your uncle for what happened to Paige,” you said softly.
“Well, it’s not like anything can be fixed now. We left my uncle in a coma in Beacon Hills and now I’m here while my sister is all around the country trying to normalize everything that’s happening,” you could hear him getting more and more anxious as he kept talking before you reached for his hand.
“Derek, just breathe. You’re forgetting that we’re both still young, and we can't control anything that happens to anyone,” you said.
“You don't do nothing. You still go out and hunt, you save people,” he replied.
“Well, come with me then. I’ll start training you and we can do this together,” he looked up at you, frowning slightly.
“What? Are you serious?” he asked.
“If it means that much to you then yes. Under one condition, of course. Don’t tell Zach,” you gave him a small smile as he scoffed.
“Thanks, (Y/N),” he said softly.
“No problem. Now come on, we’re gonna be late for school,” you grabbed your bag, standing up.
“Can I drive?” he asked.
“Hell no. You're not touching my car,” you replied.
He laughed softly, before walking alongside you, as the two of you made your way out the door.

"In and out," (f/n) thought to herself, walking along the corridor, the plan in mind being to retrieve the tesseract and return home.
'Rogers said he's got a plan for the scepter, so it's up to us to somehow get the other piece while it's still on earth... which, of course, is planted right in between a crowd of highly skilled, superpowered people,' She thought flatly, her eyes falling onto the walking Avengers.
'Well, at least, at this point in time, no one knows who I am,' She thought with confidence, certain it was to her advantage, ' so I should be able to maneuver easier than anyone else,' she added, flattening down her suit, hoping she blended in with the rest of Stark's employees.
' Here we go,' She then added, ready to make her way closer, but there was just one thing that stopped her.
As she caught sight of him, she couldn't help but take a pause, and before she could help it, the single glance that was sent his way turned into a true, dedicated stare that lasted longer than it should have.
He then turned to her, letting his blue-hued eyes land on hers, and at that, she couldn't help but let a few tears slip.
' The sight of you this way, it's unbearable.' She thought with lament, hurt while having to see him restrained. His mouth was sealed, the lower portion of his face muzzled like an unruly, vicious creature, and the very sight hit her hard.
' And that lifeless color aqua that has taken over the sweet green gaze... if I'm not mistaken, that must be a sign of his control,' she concluded, knowing it was all connected.
'I wonder...has anyone bothered to see? Has anyone realized? ' She wondered,
' Thor, have you bothered to look into your brother's eyes?' She thought with disapproval, though, knowing that either way, the blame would land upon the younger's.
'Damned if you do. Damned if you don't, right?' She thought with a shake to her head, already aware of how many of his experiences ended.
'At least...With that scepter far from you, those dark thoughts that monster implanted in you have slowly washed away.' She added with approval.
'-Now,  In and out. The scepter and the tesseract both, all in one swoop.'  She thought to herself, reminding herself of the true objective, having to will herself from staring at him any longer.
Loki tilted his head to the side, quietly watching as the woman turned from him, (e/c) colored eyes shying from him as she hid her face in a way that seemed shamed, as though there was a secret she harbored, and it truly piqued interest in him.
A loud commotion then erupted and through the strange chaos, he took his moment of leave, escaping with the tesseract in hand, a mystical, soft blue cloud swallowing him, dispersing once he was out of sight.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
'That was a complete disaster,' She mused with a little scoff, having watched the entire scene unfold, momentarily shaking her head at the replay in her mind.
"And of course, you took advantage," She hummed, unable to hold any grudge against the man as he did what came naturally to him,
"- it's just like you," She breathed with adoration.
' Get far away from here,' She inwardly pleaded,
'Find somewhere that’s out of his grasp. ' She begged while slowly walking away, choosing to find an emptier area where no one could witness her departure.
She planned to leave without a witness, but as  she moved, she didn't notice the quiet steps that shadowed hers, not having anticipated it in the least bit.
"- As I left, I couldn't help but have one nagging thought in mind," She heard a familiar voice speak, and it made her last step come to a stumbled stop.
'- Leave,' Her better senses instructed, 'Don’t stop,' She told herself.
'You can do it now...Right in this instant, and he won't ever know.' she reasoned.
'You don't know me.
I don't know the you, you are now. ‘ She silently told him.
‘ We're nothing but strangers, so, there's nothing to say.'  She tried to convince herself.
'But.' she then added, ' Would it be so bad if I just turn to you one last time?
Would it change anything?
If I could just see you one last time... right here...so near...' she trailed off before biting her lower lip in contemplation.
'Just one last time,' she declared, her fingers slipping beneath her blazer's sleeve, finding the button she needed to activate the suit, and immediately escape.
'One last glance, and then...we won't ever see each other again,' She thought with a soft sniffle, willing to indulge herself one final time.
Slowly, she turned to him, entertaining her heart with the request before she went back.
She promised herself that she’d leave right then and there, but she hesitated.
As her eyes landed on his full figure, she stopped, once again staring with the same melancholic (e/c) colored eyes that held everything from sadness and grief to adoration and tender devotion.
He was as beautiful as always, a sight her eyes would draw to, and now refused to tear from.
'...I'm a horrible person.' She said to herself, 'Because I didn't come for the tesseract.
I didn't come for everyone else,
I came for me.
- Just to see you.'  She admitted with shame.
Taking advantage of her current state, he moved quicker than she could react, reaching out to her with his right hand,  "it'll take just a moment," He told her, not wanting to waste time in idle talk, having his own method of finding her truths.
“I just have to know what you’re hiding,” he let her know, the unrelenting  curiosity he had coming from a place he couldn’t name.
To his surprise, he watched as nearly every thought she held dear had him as the center.
Furthermore, throughout it all, he saw himself under elegant lighting, one that was filtered through a gaze that always found him fascinating.
"My king..." She said while reached up to him, her hand sweetly grazing his cheek, both the touch and address rousing a little chuckle from him,
"King?" He breathed. "You've never called me that before," He added, soon leaning down to her, a dazzling smile on display. "...could it be that you’re teasing me?" he mused, touching her so sweetly it was as though she were made of glass.
she lightly shook her head in denial before she spoke, "- It's because until now, I've never felt so sure," she started, briefly closing her eyes, relishing in the warmth of his palm,
'Of this feeling...
Of you...'  she thought as she marveled at his perfect image.
"- Of how precious you are to me," She then added while ascending, looking up at him with eyes that were so close to tearing she had to blink away the light glistening sheet that lay over her (e/c) colored eyes.
"You mean everything to me," She revealed to him, and as she said that, he held in a breath, his eyes fluttering close as she came even closer.
A little peck then landed on the tip of his nose, soon bringing him out of his spellbound state, and realizing she'd purposely missed, he pouted,
"-This, here is teasing," She giggled, not missing an opportunity to play with him, soon taking a little step back before she ran from him.
'Chase me...
catch me...
Kiss me...
Play with me...
Show me a love that I've never had before,' She thought with happiness she never wanted to end.
'This is like a fairytale,' She then added, running through the lovely, blossom riddled field he'd brought her to, 'And everywhere feels like home when I'm with you,' She proceeded, not knowing anything of his realm, but feeling so safe and joyous that she felt like she belonged.
'I love you.' she thought as she tackled her down. 'I love you.' She continued to think as she laughed, the kisses that trailed down her neck tickling her so much she couldn't help but let the squeals escape as she tried to resist him, squirming.
'I love you.
I love this.
I love us.
I don't ever want this to end.'
He looked right at the woman as her tears spilled, his eyes wide as he witnessed the sorrow that came forth from reliving through such a lovely memory.
"Please don't..." She begged him, because the only way to view the memories was to make her relive through every moment.
- But determined, he continued to dig through, wanting to know why she had memories he never recalled, and much more, why they haunted her so much.
He stood before her, the bloodied colored orbs that peered down at her holding a shine to them that seemed vulnerable and sweet, all in spite of the wicked color.
She bit her lip, not knowing where to start, or even how to touch him.
"Ah," He said softly, I see you find it unsightly," he huffed.
"No. You’re beautiful," She breathed, her hands both shaking as she went to touch him, "I just...you just look so beautiful," She admitted, nervously speaking.
"Am I even allowed to..?" She asked him, her palms still hovering above his chest, the sweet warmth that radiated from the flesh forcing a shuttered breath from him as he was anxious to feel her.
"Darling," he said while taking hold of her two wrists, the grasp he held her with being so kind and sweet, she felt delicate and treasured.
"I am yours, whether it be this form or the other, you should never hesitate to touch me," He told her, and at that, she brought her palms to his naked torso, the ridges of his skin that lay over his indigo flesh feeling strange, yet welcoming.
Lightly trailing the lines, she swallowed hard, "Don't change back...for now... stay this way," She pleaded him. "Let me love you this way," She said while trailing her hands up to his face, the kisses that followed being so loving and tender that he lost himself in them, and only a low hum was his response back to her.
'The question is....how does it all end?' He asked himself, knowing it was painful.
'If we were a walking pair, then where is your other half?' he wondered.
"Do you ever regret giving yourself to me?" He asked her, his eyes looking out into the vast space, "like now...do you begin to wonder what your life would have been if we would have simply walked past each other?" He continued.
"Of all the realms.
Of all the various worlds that exist, (f/n), don't you ever wish you would have fallen for someone else? " He asked her, not having it in him to look at her as he asked the question, because there existed a part of him that regretted it all, knowing that she would have lived through fewer struggles.
Asgard was destroyed, the place he promised would be thier home was gone, and only then did he really take into account the various compromises she'd made.
" I took you from your home. I promised you a better life.
I swore to you that we'd one day live a peaceful life." He went on. "But instead, you've gone from hiding to fleeting. You've shadowed my every move, and not once have I bothered to ask you if you're fine with it.
- Not once have I bothered to tell if the one person I  say I love most is truly happy," He said while reflecting upon every moment that followed after he took her from Midgard.
"And now, watching the remains of my home be destroyed, I begin to wonder if...
If once this is all over, you'd want to go back home, pick up from where you left off...
Find yourself -"
Shaking her head, she took hold of his hand, her head leaning to his arm, not waiting for him to finish the line,
'You can't be serious,' she thought while releasing a tired, little sigh that turned light right towards the end.
Together, they looked out into the darkness that held various stars and planets, things she could have never imagined viewing from such a range.
"- No one else has brought me this close to the stars," She said with a little smile, one that became contagious, and after he huffed out a little chuckle, he hung his head, the man seeming defeated.
And for just a moment, they lived through silence, one that was broken as he uttered her name,
"(f/n)," he said then lowly, soon holding a serious tone that was proceeded by a long breath, "I'm serious..." He told her.
"Me too," She answered back, her grasp going tighter, "I'm serious: I don't regret it. Not a thing. " She said with confidence.
She then tugged his hand, turning to face him, and as he did the same she shook her head, despising the sullen look he wore.
"I'm not helpless," She started. " I could have gone back at any point," She told him as her other hand moved to lift his chin, her index curved into a little hook as she untucked the point from his chest,
"If I wanted to, I would have fought you the entire way," She assured him, having to remind him that she wasn't as sweet as she looked.
"I would have found a way to escape you, But instead, I followed my king wherever he went.
Instead, I chose to follow you into every little mess you created, because it's all worth it if I can stay with you." She admitted.
"You're here, " she said while tapping her chest, knocking over her heart's home, "I feel you here," she chimed.
"Before you, I'd lived such a small and meaningless life," she told him. "I felt like I was nothing." She admitted. " Every day was like the one before, and every one that would come up next would hold the same ordinary routine." She then went on, " And I felt like I was missing something, but I just didn't know what," she said while looking into the special piece that made her life worth it all.
'You're worth it all, ' She added, sure that he was worth leaving everything behind.
"Loki, I haven't lived as long as you, and I know that I won't get to reach an age that passes yours," She said with little amusement, "But ... that just means I'll get to live the rest of my life with you," She said while smiling,
"And that's all I want," she told him. "That's all I'll need. Just you."
At the mention, he seemed to deflate, because after all, she was only human,
- just human.
Despite her powers, when it came down to it, she was just a mortal, and he despised the reality of it.
"- I hope I go before you do," He said to her, and at that, she felt her heart clench, "Don't you dare," She sniffled, the mere mention bringing forth tears,
"Don't you ever leave me behind," she said in a small, broken voice. "Just take me with you," she then said, hiccupping, trying to laugh through the bitterness.
'I know this is all talk...but for some reason, it rattles me,' She thought to herself,
'just...whatever you do...don't leave me behind.
I'll go where you go.
Up to space, high above the rest of the worlds, or deep, down... way below everything else that exists...into the endless darkness.'
"If you love me...if you really love me...you won't leave me behind," She told him.
Rather than say more, he pulled her to him, kissing her wholeheartedly, not knowing what else he could say, because he could never bring himself to do such a thing.
'If I can help it, I will make sure your unscathed.
if it's possible, I'll just send you back home, use my last bit of strength to hide you, tuck you away, where you will never find the same end.' He thought to himself.
"Don't tell me..." Loki said with a low murmur, glaring down at her with darkness that shadowed over the pain he felt, realizing he was soon coming to the end of their tale,
"- I guess...I just don't love you enough," Loki said before he kissed her, smothering her with one last kiss before he shoved her out into the dark space, and as did so, she was enveloped by a bright light, the same one she'd gone through when she traveled with him to Asgard,
" NO! NO! NO!" She cried out to him, trying to reach out to him, straining her arm to take hold of him as she was pulled away. Soon after, she desperately clawed at the air, trying to find a way back, even while knowing that she had no control over it.
"Loki! Don't do this to me!" She cried out, her voice raw with the strength behind each howl.
"Please..." she choked out, feeling  her heartstrings slowly being pulled apart, forcibly snapped.
And as he watched her go, he felt relief, knowing that she was far from the wreckage, sent back home, joining the rest of the Asgardians that had fleeted.
'Thank you Heimdall,' He thought in silence, having to hold back the grave face that threatened to take over as he watched him take his last breath.
' (f/n), If somehow...I make it back to you, then I hope you forgive me so I can bring to you the new start you deserve.
But If I may perish today,
Despise me my darling, do so, and let the love we had be forgotten. Let my memory be of a man so selfish, that he could not grant you what you most desired.
Dedication.
Promise.
Love.
I really am wicked, aren’t I?' He thought to himself, having heard her cries, but doing nothing to calm them.
After that, there was only a muted silence, a heavy weight that anchored him as he saw the world through her eyes,
'So, why are you here?' He asked himself again, watching the moment that brought them to where they were now.
He witnessed their plan and throughout it all, he felt her true intentions, understanding it all.
She then shoved him away, finally breaking from his spell, but by then, she'd let him know everything he wanted.
"-Mission a failure," She heard tony grumble through the communicator, and she nodded, already knowing why, seeing as the object they'd come for was now in possession of the dark-haired prince.
'it's not in me to fight you.' She told herself. 'it's not in me to hurt you...
But it's in me to let you go, hoping you find happiness that doesn't end in tragedy.
And if that means far from me...Then I’ll take it. '
"Yeah," She responded before taking a long breath, realizing that now, she had no choice but to go back, but before she did, she had something in her chest that had to be let loose,
"I still don't regret any of it," She told him, truly meaning it.
'I meant every word,' She silently swore while mustering a bittersweet smile.
Her heart ached terribly, and she was so close to collapsing in misery, yet, all the same, she regretted not a minute of those sweet memories.
'Suffering this much...it just means the happiness I had was true.'
"It hurts," She admitted, "But I'd do it all over again," She told him, " I'd go through an endless loop.
I'd do it again... with you," She told him.
Slowly approaching her again, he then stood before her, 'Throughout it all... I came to a point where I could hardly recognize myself,' he mused, being quick to cradle her cheek, the touch melting her in a way that made him pull up a smile that held fondness, as though he'd known her all his life.
'I saw a man that was certain. I saw one who felt fulfillment everywhere he went, only because you were at his side.
...Ah, So this is what I become,' He mused, '...This is what we come to be, together,' He then added.
"- Me too," He told her.
'During your time, I lived a joy unimaginable,
You brought me to such bliss...that everything I've felt I'd wanted before now feels insignificant.'
"- Everything will change," She informed him, knowing that now the mess they created in the past would bring forth a new reality,
'You'll have another life, and you'll choose another path that takes you far from me...and then we'll -'
"We'll remain a constant," he promised her, disrupting her train of thought.
The oath made her smile,  a choked sound traveling from the back of her throat that morphed into a sweet chuckle.
'You'd do that?' She wondered. 'you have another chance, another choice, but you'd still go back to me?'
During then his arms were quick to wrap around her, holding her so tightly she couldn't budge.
“Thank you,” He breathed, holding every moment dear.
the familiar feeling of his arms around her brought her a peace she thought she could never live through again, and the serenity only doubled as his lips brushed hers, soon melting into a true kiss.
'through this life and the next.
In this timeline and mine... and just about every other...'
"Loki...I love you. I always will," She swore as she parted from him.
"I know, “ He mused, not needing to be told, because he’d seen it all. He’d been witness to it all.
“ And wherever you are now, I'll find you." He assured her, gracing her with a sincere smile, one that lasted until she left, going back to her own time.
Afterward, he did the same, leaving, searching for his missing half.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I had so many routes I wanted to take!!!
Part of me wanted to bring him back with the reader to her time.
However, another part of me  wanted  to let her stay with him instead, but then I thought about the poor gal stuck in thier time who would never get to live the loveliness of having this man.
After all the thought,  we ended up with this- With them going thier separate paths.
Most of it had to do with past (f/n), and the fact that all in all, Avengers Loki isn’t  Ragnarok / endgame Loki.
I love him so much, but Ragnarok / endgame Loki has come to a point where he has my everything, he’s so elegant and beautiful.
And he’s come through such a long path...And developed so much.
- Don’t get me started. He’s not the same person...
I don’t know how to explain it.
Maybe it’s the long floofy hair, lol.
