Good Omens Headcannons cuz I'm bored and why not

1. Crowley overthinks a lot and its so dumb but so cute. The few things he still overthinks a lot about: When Aziraphale told him "You go too fast for me, Crowley" he knew that it wasn't his driving at all and thinks its something else ( which, in all fairness, is something else). He also thinks that Aziraphale doesn't like his name and always tries to think of one that the angel might actually like.

2. Aziraphale does not have a specific gender cause he thinks its nothing really to think about while Crowley basically tries to own every single on of them.

3. Aziraphale learned to dance the "gavotte" thinking that one day, he and Crowley can dance it. Bonus: an improvised closing step done by couples dancing the gavotte is to kiss each other, I bet Azi knew that and instantly thought of Crowley. ( i think this is a little bit canon )

4. Crowley created the endearment "angel" ( I think this is kinda canon somehow )

5. CANON : When Anathema first met the two, she thought they were together because Crowley called Aziraphale "angel" ( at least in the books )

HEADCANON : When she found out they weren't together, she kept telling them how they were MADE FOR EACH OTHER.

6. God is there no.1 shipper. (Me at 2nd place tho-)

7. Aziraphale reads smvt for fun and isn't emberrassed about it because he literally normalizes it.

8. ​Crowley never hated Gabrielle that much until he and Azi "switched" and found out how they treated his angel. He wanted to punch him so much but kept his composure because he thought Aziraphale might get mad at him. ( also MIGHT be canon but I'm not really sure )

9.1.Azira definitely fell in love with Crowley when they first met as angels and then either 1, didn't know what it was but he just knew he wanted to be with Crowley for the rest of eternity, or 2, he realized that it was love which they thought was wrong so he supressed those feelings because he knew or thought that they weren't going to return those feelings for him. Whether it was situation 1 or 2, Aziraphale was just content with the fact that he was there with Crowley, he may not be able to tell ( or even know ) his feeling for the other, he's still happy to be there with/for him.

9.2. When Crowley fell ( sauntered vaguely downwords ) he thought he lost everything, but then he saw an angel, he saw Aziraphale. And then when they talked so easily with him like almost nothing really happened and that he gave the humans his flaming sword, she realized that she fell in love with Azi. He already knew that Aziraphale was kind of special for him, he just didn't really see it. It also made him aware of his situation where in any time and moment, he can lose everything to him like how he lost his "everything" back in heaven.

9.3. In the WWII flashback, where the actor Michael Sheen, who plays Aziraphale, describes the look Azira gave Crowley after he saved his books the "final look" implying that he realized that he really did fall for Crowley that hard AND that he thinks the're might be a chance for Crowley to love him back. (again. idiots in love who are bad at communicating with each other)

10. Crowley loves being complimented by his angel but he wouldn't show it because he thinks Azi might think he's weird ( he's overthingking it again )

11. Crowley changes his hair over the centuries/years to see which ones Azi likes/compliments the most. ( Aziraphale seemed to compliment or notice whenever Crowley grows his hear out so during GO2 she was growing it out)

12. Zir pronounce for Beelzebub. ( idk if I'm using them right ngl, i just saw neil's tumblr post )

13. Azi knows how to drive a car ( more specifically his and Crowley's Bentley ) but he likes it better when the foul fiend drives him to his bookshop.

14. Crowley is cold-blooded because he's a snake. ( might be canon but idc tbh )

15. Crowley and Aziraphale can change what they look like ( change SOME things ahout their body ) but are afraid to do so because they think the other won't recognize them.

16. Whenever they had a "huge fight", Crowley would buy, -miracle- Azi first-hand books while Aziraphale buys him different kinds of wine/plants.

Before Armage-didn't and when they would be separated because of a certain miracle-ing mission from their head offices for a long time, they would send secret letters to each other and if the're not able to, Crowley re-reads the letters his angel sends to him while Aziraphale listens to the playlists Crowley recommends him throughout exchanging letters. ( don't worry, Crowley knows very well what kind of music his angel is into ) ( also i can imagine Crowley being like "This song reminded me of you <3" with a song either something to be funny like liturgical music or heartfelt songs from Hozier or David Bowie )

18. The bentley prefers Aziraphale as it's driver (shhh, don't tell Crowley )

19. Crowley turns into his snake form when he's sad. But when he's EXTREMELY sad he goes to the pub and tries to discorporate by intoxicating the body he currently has. ( He fails though, all the time )

20. After Beelze appeared randomly in the Bentley with the flies on S2Ep1, the Bentley would suddenly go feral whenever there is an insect inside/near it. ((When I said feral I mean; it starts making weird engine sounds, it plays random and mixed songs , it's lights and gears would flicker on and off, etc))

21. After Crowley fell, heaven gave him snake eyes so that, even though a bit difficult, he can still see the stars he created. ( Heaven didn't give him the eyes of an animal that can't see or completely blind because they want him to suffer with the fact that he can never perfectly see his creations again )

22. One day, Azira heard of a new band that was getting quite popular called "Queen". It happened that Crowley had a new car and decided that, as a gift, it needed some, unintentionally permanent, music. (( Found this one on tiktok and thought it was sweet ))

Another Good Omens meta - Plants

The plants are a key character in Good Omens. Just as the Bentley. We've often wondered why Crowley is so attached to his plants. I think I may have an idea.

Let's start with what type of plants are they?

Here we see at least 3 types of plants.

The ones that Aziraphale carries I first confused them with something else, but @drconstellation pointed out (thanks) they are monstera and snake plant. Crowley carries three types - decorative fig, ficus (fig again) and scindapsus (devil's ivy).

And the monstera.

Figs are a really interesting choice, tho. (the two tallest ones in Crowley's box). They bring all kinds of meaning and are also mentioned in the Bible.

This I find really interesting because of the scene with Crowley and Muriel in Heaven. He described angels as bees and Muriel described him as a hornet.

And this "if the fig is destroyed, the fig wasp won't survive". Is this somehow related to Crowley's obsession with these plants?

And the other plant is the scindapsus. (the smallest one on the left in Crowley's box) I didn't find that much information about it, but this is also interesting, because its other name is devil's ivy.

Thanks to @paperbunny I realized that what I thought is scindapsus may actually be dieffenbachia, which is a poisonous plant again type of a snake plant. And my mom actually almost lost her eye because of this plant. A piece of it landed in her eye and she couldn't see and she was operated. Her eye healed and she is okay now, so this plant is really dangerous.

This is it for now, but I'll make another post with more info on plants in s2, but not about Crowley's.

I don't know if there really is something, but who knows...

Agatha also had feelings for Bastien, but her stubbornness prevented her from admitting it. They were too young to pursue a romantic relationship at the time. However, when Agatha's magical abilities emerged, and she received her letter to attend Hogwarts, she went to say goodbye to Bastien. He then confessed his feelings to her, but Agatha laughed it off and gave him a pat on the shoulder before leaving. This encounter was the last time they saw each other in their youth.

my au doesn't really make sense but its fun

so basically my au takes place a little bit after the battle of hackham heath. Halt has became an official ranger for a while, but soon Duncan gets a letter telling him that the old king of Hibernia is dead, and he is invited to Ferris's coronation. Duncan decides to bring Halt, because of Halt being Hibernian. When Halt hears the news, he knows that he cant leave Ferris to destroy Hibernia/make it weak, and goes with Duncan. Ferris becomes king, but on his first day he dismisses half of the garrison at the castle.Halt knows he has to step in and tells Duncan that Halt is the king by right. Duncan helps Halt expose Ferris, and even though Halt didn't want to, Hibernians dont like being lied to. Ferris was hung and Halt became king. Duncan went back to Araluen and told Crowley what happened, and told Crowley that if Gilan still wanted to be a ranger, then be his mentor. Halt becomes king and after stabilizing the kingdom, he begins to look for Caitlyn. When he finds the village she was in, she had a son named Sean. Caitlyn decides to go back with Halt, and he trains her as a ranger so she van protect herself. He begins training many of the archers into Rangers, and eventually, he has about 100 rangers in his kingdom, including Caitlyn and Sean. After about 5 years of Halt being king, he is invited to a peace summit in Araluen, because they were making a treaty with the Skandians, who had began traveling further and further into the kingdoms to raid. Theres sone Halt abd Crowley fluff, Crowley meets Caitlyn, etc. and they make a treaty, and Halt decides to pronounce Caitlyn the queen of Hibernia. Caitlyn becomes queen with Sean as her heir, and Halt moves back to Araluen and rejoins the Ranger Corps. He apprentices Will Treaty and the rest is basically the same, minus the kings of clonmel.

Scenes I expect to get in Good Omens 3

• The secret support

I expect Aziraphale to have a hard time doing "good things" as he realizes more and more that heaven doesn't plan to do good things in his beliefs. But since he is the archangel in charge now he can't escape anymore, maybe Metatron will threaten Aziraphale to destroy Crowley if he didn't do so already in Season 2. And within all of that I see Crowley never letting go of Aziraphale. I am sure he even secretly supports him all the time with everything they plan to do...even tho it will be the second coming. Because Crowley TRUSTS Aziraphale.

• Aziraphale losing his memories

The archangels talked about erasing memories of Gabriel so I am sure they plan to do so with Aziraphale as well. As soon as possible. They want to erase Crowley out of his mind and make him their puppet. If not them then Metatron. Maybe they will even succeed...oh the heartbreak Crowley will have if Aziraphale will ask him for his name.

• The Nightingale

Crowleys Bentley will play "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square" all the time now in whenever he tries to play music. In my imagination his Bentley always plays what is in his heart. Sooo...yes. He will hate it but...it's his heart.

• The Fall

Aziraphale will fall...or like...he HAS to fall. The interesting part? He will make himself fall. I can imagine Crowley saving him (He loves saving him) from Heaven. The elevator doesn't work so what will they do?

They jump. And while falling Crowley will hold him the entire time. Because he knows how falling feels like. And he will never let Aziraphale go trough that alone.

• "I forgive you" and the 2nd Kiss

In the end I am sure there will be a 2nd kiss. After Aziraphale will tell him he is sorry. That he was wrong. That he wish he would have realized back then. And that he wants to spend eternity together with him as he planned to do so. Of course Crowley will first be mad and yell at him. He will tell him about his broken heart and that no one not even an Angel can fix this. And Aziraphale eventually will start crying.

"But...I forgive you" Crowley will say. After Aziraphale forgave him so many times how could he not forgive him one time? And that makes Aziraphale feel such a relief that he will cry more in happiness and to calm him down a bit he will kiss him again: But this time...much much softer. And Aziraphale will pull him closer this time as he wanted to do the last time.

So yeah...it would be...really cool if such scenes would appear.

Good Omens spoilers-ish??? idk not big spoilers don't worry, i'm just theorizing about Crowley's name but best be careful uknow

Alright listen, I've seen lots of headcanons about Crowley being *insert an angel's name here like idk Raphael* (I'm sorry I don't know names and stuff, my family is pretty atheist/not christian and I have no idea about all that happens in The Bible,,,) and I consider them very interesting and I enjoy hearing about why people think Crowley is that specific angel. But consider this: does Crowley have to be some angel named in The Bible? What if Crowley is just... Crowley?

It's a demon name i suppose, since he was Crawly at first, and Crawly sounds like the snake form because it "crawls" and stuff. And then he changed his name to Crowley since he likes that better. You know this stuff. But somehow i have a feeling that he's not anyone named in The Bible, if you know what i mean.

Sure, he did create nebulae and was obviously a high-ranking angel, but what if The Bible doesn't mention Crowley? What if Crowley was a high-ranking angel but wasn't mentioned? Maybe it was because he questioned God too much and so he was just... left out? They already had Lucifer questioning stuff, if I understand correctly, and wouldn't it be suspicious if there were more high-ranking angels disagreeing? Maybe he was forgotten, maybe Heaven just didn't want to mention him for whatever reason. There are lots of reasons for excluding Crowley, I'm sure.

Also in a way I feel like for understanding Crowley, knowing his name before his fall has very little significance because I think he is so strongly his own person now. He's Crowley, and he's on his own side. And that, I think, is more important to him than his past as an angel or demon.

These are just my thoughts tho, and might not make sense, I'm just Thinking About Fictional Characters as I do very often haha:D Anyway hope someone had fun reading my rambling lol

i warched good omens season 2

i have a lot to say that doesn't really amount to anything so i'm gonna start typing at random

i liked the romantic vibe of the season and all the cute flashbacks. the dialogue between the leads was appropriately trusting and sweet. they really leaned into showing how they rely on each other. i also like that the conflict was pretty small in scale compared to season 1. it's not armageddon, but there were still some stakes if you include all the humans that almost died. although.... heaven and hell seem to know exactly where crowley and aziraphale are... yes, they fooled them at the end of s1, but wouldn't they idk. try other means? why didn't they get their names erased from the book of life earlier if that was something higher up angels could do? whatever

i like that there were real actual gay characters (lesbians even! who looked like real people!) even though I was worried they were getting together too fast, the reveal towards the end that they were going to move slow felt realistic. but them having to talk crowley into confessing his feelings felt ripped straight from a fanfiction. the lesbians comparing themselves to aziraphale and crowley was a bit on the nose. many moments did in fact feel like fanfiction. the dancing together, the "I need you!", the "We can just be us." all of that was cute and probably something i would've written idk could you do any better??? i am not immune to fluff. but also, that's a grown man. does it not take agency away from the character to have his relationship explained to him? and then they had the gall to not even show us this conversation. ideally he would've come to a conclusion about his feelings on his own-- perhaps after seeing gabe and beez fuck off to alpha centauri and going huh. i guess you can just do that. or even just through way of flashback-- oh no wait. all of the flashbacks were from aziraphale's point of view for some reason. why didn't azi get any realizations? you know michael sheen would've ate

i thought they kind of wasted muriel's character. she seems to disappear for a long time before the plot calls for her to conveniently be there. i know she's meant to be a bit dim but surely she noticed 70 demons walking down the street.... ALSO i thought the book crowley handed her was going to be good omens but it. was not

looooved shax loved new beelzebub. who else. idk everyone was really giving it their all. megatron showed up for all of two episodes i think but was pivotal for the ending. what are you doing neil. gabriel is also doing. things. they wasted jon hamm as well by making him a frustrating himbo. one of the only scenes i liked with him was crowley yelling at him for trying to kill aziraphale in s1 and then trying to jump out a window and then calling crowley nice. but that whole bit felt more like a crowley scene than a gabe scene. he does get a mug with his name on it tho and hypocritically falls in love with the fly lady so all is forgiven.

i'm gonna be real with you all.. the way they filmed the kiss felt awkward. the way the camera swings around and crowley grabs him felt very....... rehearsed? a little unnatural, i think. the way crowley LUNGES. idk i need to rewatch the last ten minutes again. and it went on so long. we got like three of four angles on it like whoah. but the reaction face we got out of michael sheen. mamma mia

COWARRD. i understand why he did it but COWARD. why, after sooo long, would you think crowley would jump for joy to be an angel again... i watched all eight minutes of the credits certain that there was going to be more but nope. catch ya next time for the second coming (of jesus?? <- does not know things about the bible)

so i was pretty satisfied with that watch. i wish the season was longer than 6 episodes but tbh they had to make this story from nothing and it shows in the romcom hijinks and threadbare mystery. but it was fun and went by quickly. then i check on the fandom and they're, get this, upset for some reason about this ending. there's no pleasing some fans i guess. good job neil you've pissed off the people who wanted them to kiss AND the people who didn't want them to kiss, bravo! hopefully in a month or so everyone will cool down about it. and if not well. plenty of fanfic fodder until season 3. not that i read good omens fanfic, but it'll be there. just be happy there was a kiss alright!!!!!!?!!!1

here's my little thing on good omens two (i just finished it less than a minute ago)

i write my reactions to stuff but it won't make sense bc i didn't write what was going on just like. what i thought. SPOILERS BTW

GREAT SHOW like amazing like fuck

um. let's go by episode (photos of thoughts at the bottom)

[chapter one: the arrival] LOVELY opening like the entire scene was so cool and the lighting was incredible and it reminded me of the song meteor shower (cavetown) ((yeah i'll be making an animatic what about it)) also THE WING PARALLEL IVE ALREADY MADE A POST ABOUT IT BUT LIKE. OMG??? the intro happens and that is so so cool i was ENTRANCED and side note, when it's raining hearts (love that btw) the star cluster behind the makes a silhouette of a person (gabriel?) but idk if i'm just looking too much,, lmao. ok so present day we meet maggie and nina and i love them so much and they are very cute together. also ducks. also hi gabriel. also hi shax. the queen in the background of the coffee shop was very neat. i need to learn the i was wrong dance. OVERALL super cool episode and i loved it

[chapter two: the clue] loving the beard it's a moment, again this entire show is a masterpiece like the lighting and the everything is so interesting. we hear everyday (great song) and also crowley not killing the children but turning them into lizards is the most crowley thing i would expect of him tbh. i loved it. also by 2500 B.C. he said the angel pet name and i was living for it !! also YES aziraphale and crowley playing matchmaker is so fun. Job was great tbh. also zira lying to a room full of angels was amazing,, also the way zira was like 'it's our car' SHUT UPPP i love him so much it's so cute 💔💔 then also i think i saw the good omens book at one point maybe. THE OUTRO SLAYS AS PER USUAL.

[chapter three: i know where i'm going] I LOVE JIMS MUG (i want to make one) also,, muriel is probably my favorite side character in this season, I HATE LINDSAY (who doesn't) also the gabriel statue is so funny 2 me.. the whole crowley poisoning himself was great i'm assuming demons get like,, drunk on poison ig. not many notes on this episode tbh, great one tho

[chapter four: the hitchhiker] ok first off I LOVE MOONLIGHT SERENADE great song,, hi shax,, back to the nazi church i guess. mycroft holmes is a zombie now. nothing i can do,, also ZIRA CALLED THEM FRIENDS AW,, also i was SO SCARED at the magic show and crowley was shaking so badly omg T-T THE MIRRORS that was a great scene and i called the photo switch hehe. also ritz parallel at some point. lovely episode, again not much notes

[chapter five: the ball] this episode was so so fun i loved the dancing and the shenanigans also SHAX WHO NEEDS TEN THOUSAND DEMONS TO STORM A BOOK SHOP cmon,, also i thought nina would try and get crowley and zira together (im a master of predictions) also yeah lovely little scenes and OUT THE WINDOW you go gabriel. I LOVE YOU MURIEL also wait and seeeeeee,, the bookshop-turned-ballroom was beautiful tbh (don't think i missed those stares thru the window anthony janthony crowley) the demons showing up was so so cool, INEFFABLE HUSBANDS DANCING??? EE!! also t-o-s-t-e is great,, so is gabriel's coat omg,, NOW CROWLEY IS GOING TO HEAVEN?? lovely lovely episode

[chapter six: every day] SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP the love in this episode is RADIANT and girl,, i can't handle it. also MAGGIE i know you didn't think but cmon,,, also CROWLEY AS AN ANGEL WITH THE GOLDEN SNAKE WAS SO FUN,, the intro was so cool and the guitar was so queen-sounding idk how to put it. the halo was. SO COOL. also i called it gabriel FELL RAHHHHHHH i'm so great. shax you did NOT body shame zira bro. you did NOT. the trial was so interesting btw,, it was such a cool scene. bye bye demons! then zira starts a war?? unexpected. beez and gabe are SO CUTE TOGETHER i love them??? with all my heart?? they have a song. THEY HAVE A SONG. also the little dinner date parallels with zira and crowley to beez and gabe i was so happy. also THEY HELP HANDS OMGGGG ! alpha centauri reference was so sweet tbh. YHEN THEY KISSED I WAS FULL ON SOBBING AT THAT POINT FORWARD i was shaking so hard i thought i would die on the spot. then i got mad at zira for NOT GOING BACK FOR CROWLEY SHUT THE FUCK UP and the nightingale song biiiitch,, then it ended

now i'm very numb and will be spending the weekend going thru episodes and taking photos of cool things I CANNOT WAIT FOR SEASON THREE

So the consequence of last season's tomfoolery is the unleashing of the darkness, as per Death's explanation before he got sliced by Dean (I'm still not over how easy it was to take down such an ancient OP character)

Billie starts out in season 11 - okay - I know she's an enemy but I'm a fan of hers. She's sooo beautiful!!!! I love her look!!!! She ain’t takin’ no shit from the Winchesters either. That is a woman I can get behind - sowwwwwwwwwwwwy lol.

He really thought Cas was afraid. Child please. He's angry and he has so many reasons to be, between getting cockblocked by Sam and others, cockteased by Dean, having to compete with Crowley and women for Dean's attention (though where are the women, or is it all about AmaraxDean this season?), getting hated on by Heaven, getting cursed by Rowena and fucked over by Metatron personally and more than once, of course duh!

Sam! Poor baby thought God was speaking to him but it was the devil all along. He wants out of the cage and needs Sam to do it cuz another consequence of the darkness fiasco is the cage weakened some. Shame we didn't get to see Michael or Adam 🙃 (it was a great opportunity to bring back the apocalypse stuff from season 5, but oh well, that's what fanfiction's for!)

So instead of Sam who stands up to this bully, Castiel ends up busting him out (Cas baby no!)

Dean got to see Bobby again…awwwww but it turns out this episode (at least the parts that Bobby and Rufus were in) was during season 4 - and Dean was a prissy bitch! So rude, entitled and ungrateful. Bobby shouldn’t have had to put up with that!

Sam got shot but I wasn’t worried! We got 4 more seasons, he ain't going anywhere. But Dean was losing his mind again…Jesus honey there’s more to life than your baby bro! I mean I understand - he raised this boy, invested so much but this shit ain't healthy. He committed suicide to talk to a reaper who’s told him in no uncertain terms that if the Winchesters die she’s gonna keep them that way. Did he really think she’d be willing to cut him a deal? Hell nah. He’s lucky that doctor was good at his job! And that Sam swooped in and saved the day, survivor that he is!

That poor woman at the end though, so devoid of hope, just like Dean will be in a few seasons (yeah I know about that shit. I’ll address it when I finally watch those episodes).

Speaking of Dean losing hope - he works with Crowley & Rowena to try to save Cas. Why does Sam keep saying Cas ain’t coming back - you don’t know - we’re not in season 15 - lemme stop
