Rui's fingers absentmindedly play with your hair as he rambles on about his plans for WxS's upcoming show. You haven't entirely been paying attention to him talk, but that's definitely not because you don't care. Far from it, really.

It's just that he has the most calming voice in the world, at least to you. His chest, which your head rests on, rumbles whenever he talks. You're easily distracted, zoning out and listening to the sound of his voice rather than what he's actually distracted.

...You've just realise you're doing it again. Better pay attention.

"...I'm thinking after that, I'll repurpose something I made a while ago for the next scene," Rui explains calmly. "I made a bubble machine that's a lot smaller and portable than most of the machines you can buy in stores. I want to remodel it so it fits as a prop, and find a way to shine different lights on them to make them appear as different colors. Then, when Emu uses it, it'll make her magic feel more, well, magical. What do you think?"

He tilts his head down to gaze at you after asking that, his curious yellow eyes studying you carefully. His pretty yellow eyes that always gaze at you with such warmth and affection, combined with that ever-present smile of his.

Rui chuckles lightly at the prolonged silence not filled by your response, which causes your cheeks to warm up in embarrassment.

"I-I think it's a really great idea," you tell him quickly. "S-Sorry, I, um..."

"Were staring at me again?" Rui cuts in, smiling teasingly. "Don't worry, I really don't mind. It just means that I can tell you all my ideas and you'll still be surprised by them."

He leans down and presses a gentle kiss to your forehead that makes your heart flutter. He softly caresses your head, watching your gaze grow sleepy and tired.

"Pretty." Rui speaks up after a short period of silence.

You move your head to be able to look at him. "Are you talking to me?"

A smile of amusement appears on his features. "Who else would I be talking to, love?"

He's right, but you don't want to admit it. You stick your tongue out at him, causing him to chuckle at you.

"You. You're pretty," Rui repeats, kissing your forehead once more. "My pretty boy."

Even though it's such a simple compliment, it causes butterflies in your stomach. You let out a squeak of embarrassment and hide your face in his shirt, which causes him to laugh at you again (the big meanie that he is).

"It's funny watching you get all embarrassed about something that's true," he says it so casually like it's a fact known by everyone. "You're a pretty boy."

"Shut up!" You immediately whine in response, once again drawing a chuckle from him.

"Alright, alright, I'll stop," Rui grins, speaking in that teasing tone he loves to use on you. "For now, anyway. You look tired, so please get some rest, okay?"

You shift your head to now be resting your cheek on his chest. "...Fine. Goodnight, Rui."

Rui hugs you to his chest warmly, cradling you close. "Goodnight, dear."

reinhardt from overwatch is the first for no other reason than i think he would frankly be an absolute delight in an old western setting. he would be such a joy and have so much fun being able to run free on the plains. it's in character for him to join a renegade group fighting for what he believes is right anyway. hes robo racist in overwatch so hed fit right into the 1890s-1910s.

the unreliable crew from the outer worlds. they could be their own outlaw gang!! scifi and old westerns are only like two degrees of separation to me.. i think its incredibly easy to reflect all of the unreliable crew's backstories into the universe of rdr too. you can easily have parvati and max be from a company town all the same, groundbreakers just new yawk baby. stellar bay is a company town out in the middle of the desert thats been abandoned and the people have been making do on their own still. could have it be a ranching town if you wanna make it more pre established.. idk. SAM's a dog. thanks SAM. i mean, both games even share the character archetype of "debauched priest you help set on the correct path." i dont think this ones too much of a stretch.

ive never done any substances (never plan to. i don’t even want to touch cigarettes or alcohol because of past abuse with people who had a bad relationship with such things which was taken out on me instead) BUT one thing about depression that i cant find anyone talking about it how disoriented i am??

im alone these days so i blank at times just sitting on the floor and suddenly its 3 hours later, or i keep sleeping at 4-5am because ive had consecutive nightmares (even during naptimes) and so my sense of time is really really messed up

i still think its the start of september and the worst part is that im not even doing anything, im just blank, but sometimes im sobbing, sometimes im just tired but unable to sleep yk? youre so relatable about the cloudy part too because i still feel like im just in a daze

my last 1h year was actually horrid though. i never thought anyone else experienced it that way but mine was ☺️☺️ not the best. probably the worst year of my life LOLLL

GIRLL. first of all, im proud of u for having such a strong stance against substances and i hope it stays that way<3

i was dissociating pretty heavily the last few months and the brain fog took over me completely so i feel u on the disoriented bit. depression manifests differently in different individuals. being angry, taking it out on others, being easily irritable, being unable to enjoy yourself, having no motivation to get anything done etc are all symptoms. ppl always have a black & white image of someone crying all day and while that can be a part of it. depression is a range of behaviours and long term depression often makes it very disorienting to process events and time. you feel disconnected. literally.

living alone is REALLYYY hard if you're depressed. whatever you just said describes me under the influence of substances. i hope you can spend time with a community bc the key to tackling depression is just getting out of that funk into a new routine that allows you to constructively spend your time and give you a daily sense of purpose.

Hello The mtt connoisseur, what do you think horror and dusts opinions on killers stages? Like seperatly (what do they think of stage 1, what do they think of stage 3 ...since they all act differently)

aghhhh dreaded killer related questions because as of right now my mind cant keep track of him and his lore and charactization. yeah i can admit my flaws,,, i'm not a PERFECT mtt fan i have my flaws and shift favorites from time to time. i remember back in march or something when killer was all i could think of. the olden days. anyways probably too focused on horror and dust as of rn BUT ITS OK!!! equilibrium will be reached one day. ANYWAYS hmmm hmmm let me ponder

i already made a post about horror and stage 3 a while ago where horror would lure stage 3 in to test new traps he came up with and stage 3 would blindly chase after him and get hurt in the process because he's just locked in on killing horror. i think horror in that post was definitely a bit ooc he wouldn't be THAT active when it comes to killer but it was just a fun idea i had back then. anyways i do think that horror would think similarly to what i said in that post. killer stage 2 is usually really composed and secretive and precise with what he does that horror finds it absolutely hilarious when killer looses all that composure and just turns into a feral dog or some bullshit like that (AS IF HE DOESN'T HAVE SOMETHING SIMILAR WITH HIS HUNGER EPISODES????). although horror does value his life a shitton more than i made him in that post (that would probably be a closer friend group type of dynamic between the mtt) since there are times where i think it could be interpreted that horror wouldnt be the type of guy to fall for natural selection: killer edition. stage 3 is funny to him but he wouldn't approach cus he knows damn well he would NOT make it out unscathed‼️‼️ like watching an angry gorilla at the zoo. horror can laugh at it and all that but no way in hell is he approaching the glass

dust with stage 3??? uhhh i think he'd be more on the concerned side when faced with stage 3. and no not for killer because he really couldnt care less about killer's stage shifts he'd probably just wait for him to calm down like someone waiting for a kid to stop throwing a tantrum or something. nnnnahhh but i think he'd definitely be a bit put off by killer's sudden agression like stage 2 is agressive but not unless he needs to be. it's the same thing with horror where the shift from stage 2's way of acting compared to the unrestrained way that stage 3 acts is jarring to him. like a majority of people would he'd stay away from stage 3 killer. not like watching an animal from behind zoo glass but more like those national geographic channels where they put hidden cameras in the wilderness to take footage. something like that. he'd moniter killer from afar. i think he MIGHT be curious about the sudden shift and what caused it and all that but dust is too apathetic to care much aside from a little brainstorming. that's killer's business he's not gonna mess with it esp after seeing what stage 3's like
