time for my big lumax rantpost. I used to be way more of a shipper but upon reexamining some of my GA-era assumptions, I'm here to tell you why it sucks, and why I don't look forward to lumax endgame if it's the same lumax we've been getting.

lumax has fantastic potential, but needs lots of work to actually become the ship most of the fandom thinks it is.

I get the sense most on here consider lumax ST's darling perfect ship which is sullied by weak and/or racist writing. while I wouldn't argue at all that the writing does right by Lucas, I do think it's important to recognize lumax as an intentionally-written badly flawed relationship, NOT a poorly-written perfect relationship. (the writing for 5 has a lot to prove so we'll see)

lumax is obviously happening. no ending to Lucas's story makes sense other than him getting the girl. however, I don't like that from either character's standpoint.

from hers - Max is not a prize. and from his - Max is no prize.

Max is a pretty shitty girlfriend.

we've never seen her show Lucas any interest in learning anything about him. I can't remember a time she's complimented him, said anything nice about him, or done anything purely for his benefit. virtually all of their serious conversations have been about her, and the scant few that are sort of about him are inevitably just a lead-in to him offering support to her.

Lucas and Max's relationship - pre, during, and post dating - is 100% about what he can do for her. he's the one making 100% of the effort.

it seems like most of their interactions are him walking on eggshells trying to placate, reassure, or convince her, all for the reward of.... what. being allowed to continue existing near her? like yeah, she's a cool girl, but. that can't be it.

what good is getting the girl if the girl doesn't really offer anything?

through the seasons, semiquickly:

season 2

Lucas and Dustin both like Max, so they invite her trick or treating, offering to protect her from bullies and show her where the good candy is. in other words, the first Max / Lucas interaction is him offering something to benefit her. Max returns no appreciation or even response to the invite, yet still shows up to reap the benefits.

that pretty much sets the tone.

Max wants to be included, but that's a sensitive subject, so she puts on aloof airs to protect herself. it's an act, but nonetheless it's all Lucas receives.

the facade slips on multiple occasions though; Lucas is permitted to see her vulnerability, and we can see she's actually more desperate to make the connection than he is.

Dustin seeks Steve's manipulation tactics to use on Max, but Lucas wins her over by treating her like an equal and offering her genuine friendship.

he risks both his place in the party and his safety/life to include her, gives his undivided attention when she talks to him, asks questions that show his interest and concern, he reassures, uplifts and compliments her, and physically protects her.

in return, Max. uhh. well she does apologize for being a jerk, although she doesn't exactly stop, lmao. this is one of only two moments I can think of when Max reveals any regard for what Lucas thinks of her.

lumax is off-balance before it even starts, although s2 is when I think that dynamic is most permissible. since Max is a newcomer, Lucas has the advantage in many respects, and it makes sense for him to be the one extending a hand to her.

when Billy attacks Lucas for hanging out with Max, he could be gravely hurt if not for Steve taking the beating instead. Max joins in the momentary group hug but never says a word about this. (I suspect the writers mean for Max's bus apology to have proactively served as a veiled "sorry my stepbro is racist" but more felt needed in that moment.)

then they go to the dance and she kisses him and it's cute and everything is happy for ten whole seconds.

between 2 and 3

even though the summer of '85 is "the good days," this relationship is already careening downhill.

we learn that Max has dumped Lucas five times - such a regular occurrence that he takes it in stride and is well practiced at winning her back as a result.

unfortunately it's Lucas taking to heart the "happy wife happy life" policy from his dad that's set up lumax as something that seems to serve only Max. her awareness of the policy means she holds all the cards.

season 3

Max has secured her place in the party and the relationship, and now it's time for her to bring something to the table, but I honestly can't name one thing. it's still Lucas bending over backwards and Max sometimes being a bit of a jerk. (another act. we'll come back to this)

from the start of 3 we see an excessively secure Max and an obsequious Lucas. she doesn't show him any of the vulnerability that made her endearing in 2. they share fun moments, but we can infer that she doesn't treat him very well in ways that matter.

at one point she even plays mad just to watch him panic. you get the feeling this boy can never feel secure in his relationship. yeah she's just teasing, but do you think Lucas is allowed to tease too?

when El comes to Max for advice, she tells her that "boyfriends lie all the time" and this is before we see Lucas lie to her.

when Mike comes to Lucas for advice, he confidently schools him on how to get back in El's good graces by buying her a present - making clear he's been following his dad's advice all summer long and it's been working:

L: Dad? When Mom's mad at you, how do you make her not mad? C: First, I apologize. Then, I get your mother whatever she wants. L: Even when she's wrong? C: She's never wrong, son.

the mall confrontation is the first time we see Lucas really lie to Max, but even then, the girls don't actually have proof Nana isn't sick.

it's telling, actually, that Lucas's loyalty goes to Mike instead of Max in this moment. in s2 it was the other way around (Lucas pissed off the whole party by including her in the group and telling her the truth - a technically banishable offense). but now he's back to his s1 bros before hoes policy, and not only backs up but expands on Mike's lie. after dating almost a year, his loyalty to Max should be even stronger, but here we see the opposite. if Max had been at least as good a friend to him as Mike, I'm inclined to think he would at least have tried to be noncommittal here.

Max is so confident Lucas will have nothing on his mind but winning her back, as always - meanwhile who we actually see Lucas apologizing to is Will.

she may have had Lucas wrapped around her little finger all summer, but we're seeing that start to uncoil. if Lucas apologizes, it's offscreen.

when Billy tries to break out of the sauna to kill Max, Lucas slingshots him and body shields Max during the fight. next thing you know, Max is back to being cliquey with El in the bathroom (making fun of Mike even though he was the only one who did anything to save El's life?? girl you're being shitty to boyfriends that aren't even yours)

they seem to be a couple again by the end of 3, but the relationship is weakened...

between 3 and 4

..which sets the scene for how the two apparently drift when Max ends it once again. she's not playing this time - she uses the term "break up" instead of "dump" and Lucas has accepted that it's over.

depression makes it hard for Max to connect with him, but the way she treated him in 3 has likely also eaten away at his insistence on prioritizing her. if you push someone away over and over you can't be too surprised if they stay further away each time.

so Max withdraws socially and Lucas apparently doesn't go to his usual lengths to pursue her.

he's still making effort though! the "stalking" comment makes it clear he's been trying to approach her. we know he's been inviting her to his basketball games. him already knowing her favorite song as of 4x4 is more evidence of him taking an interest in her between seasons.

he clearly still cares a lot about Max, but good for him for pursuing his own hobbies and friendships as well.

season 4

Lucas finally asks Max to do something to support him for once (come to his game), but she shuts it down hard.

we know Max still cares about him, but that's just it - WE know. he doesn't. to his face, it's bristling rejection even while he literally begs for the chance to support her.

saving Max's life is a group effort, but Lucas knowing her favorite song is the key that saves her life, and it's only after that that she's friendly towards him again.

the only time I can recall Max expressing any concern for Lucas's wellbeing is when she asks if he's okay in 4x6 - and he only gets a few sentences to process Patrick's death before it's time for him to turn it into an apology to her. sigh.

Lucas is the only one of Max's friends to voice any objection to her suicide mission of a Vecna plan, and pitches for them to gamble a stranger's life instead. he once again risks his life to hang out in the Creel house with Max, personally taking on the huge responsibility of making sure she doesn't die.

Vol 2 Max finally shows Lucas some long-awaited appreciation ("you might have been there" and "I'm glad you're here") which is very nice to see.

I'm conflicted about the movie invite scene, but we'll talk about that later. textually: he asks her out, she accepts, it's totes adorbs.

unfortunately, Max being tranced out by the time Jason walks in means it's time for Lucas once again to get attacked by an older, stronger guy who's wrongly convinced he's a danger to her. (again not her fault, but kinda because of her)

everything goes sideways, Max gets Vecna'd, and Lucas holds her while she dies. we end on a bruised Lucas sitting loyally at Max's bedside, reading to her just in case she can hear it inside her coma.

Lucas hasn't been perfect but he has spent yet another season physically protecting and emotionally supporting Max at great personal expense, and with little appreciation and no support in return.

the movie doodle didn't fix lumax

Max has had an epiphany, but a change of behavior has scarcely begun. being nice isn't the same as making amends. they've resolved zero of the old issues, plus 4 (even if the plan had worked) has heaped a ton of new shit on both of them.

she's still a grieving, neglected, depressed and passively suicidal child of a triply-broken home. dating doesn't fix that. they already broke up once under the same conditions.

plus Max has new catastrophic emotional traumas, some of which which explicitly exacerbate those very issues. she has catastrophic injuries and disability to cope with (and this is a girl who withdraws under stress normally). with a shred of realism, she's waking up in less a mood for dating than ever.

Lucas has also taken on new traumas, between the basketball team stuff, getting beaten up and almost shot/strangled, and watching Max get Vecna'd and die. he already has a history of guilt about not being there for her enough, so he's going to have a lot more about failing her in that moment (definitely not his fault but he'll still feel bad) and will likely be even more focused on her.

to me, this all sounds like a recipe for the same old dynamic except worse than ever. if they get sleeping beauty'd directly back into lumax, it'll be a disservice to both characters.

now let's talk about why Max treats Lucas the way she does 🔬

she's not a conniving bitch, she's just a scared kid from a toxic home. that doesn't excuse her behavior but it does make it understandable.

Max CAN be a great friend. she's just not to Lucas.

Max absolutely showers El with the good qualities she'll barely show Lucas. in fact I could loosely say Max is to El what Lucas is to Max.

Max is suspicious and disparaging towards Lucas, even while trusting that he can be counted upon to grovel. meanwhile El never apologizes for intentionally hurting Max both physically and emotionally, yet the moment El acknowledges her (only because she wants help), Max is instantly forgiving, kind, gentle, caring, generous and supportive towards her.

she throws her loyalty behind a friend of 1 afternoon over her boyfriend of a year who's been the only person in Hawkins to show her any true kindness and emotional connection.

if Max was half the friend to Lucas that she is to El, she'd be a decent girlfriend. why isn't she?

we can name a few reasons why Max IS so nice to El, but why she ISN'T to Lucas is a separate question. kindness isn't zero-sum.

she told us why. boyfriends lie.

and it's ANY boyfriend, not just hers. Nana's sick? more like Mike's a lying piece of shit! Suzie from camp? fake! Dustin's obviously lying! the only one of the boys Max has never accused of lying is Will - the only one who's been single the whole time.

just. the state of being a boyfriend (or even just liking a girl is close enough), makes any boy automatically a liar.

Max believes "friend" and "boyfriend" are mutually exclusive

"Friends don't lie!" "Yeah, well, boyfriends lie all the time." <- it's all right there.

back in 2 when Lucas was her friend, she was more open and trusting. she gave him the benefit of the doubt that monsters were real and he knew a girl with magic powers. starting to date flipped the switch, and now she doesn't trust him about mundane stuff.

now they're not friends, they're boyfriend/girlfriend, and she expects to be treated in a whole different way, including all the baggage that comes with romantic relationships in her mind.

what baggage?

Max's childhood is full of examples of awful, manipulative men and abusive, broken relationships.

her dad: I'd only be speculating about why her parents' marriage failed, but in 2 Max misses California because her dad is still there, then by 4 acts like it's doubtful he can even be tracked down for delivery of what's basically her suicide letter. it's clear she desired a relationship with her dad but was abandoned. Neil: abusive asshole who rules the household with an iron fist. I'd be shocked if he hasn't abused Susan, and see little reason he wouldn't do it in front of Max (after all, we see him verbally and physically abuse his first wife in front of his son, in a bad fight over suspected lies/infidelity). in his grief over Billy, Neil and Susan have "bad fights" and he leaves the family. he's not missed, but it's still a second abandonment by a father figure. Billy: Max's peer example of guys in relationships: a sleazy, two-faced asshole who treats girls like trash and completely changes his persona to manipulate them for sex or whatever else he wants (Max appears to be all too aware of his sex life and is disgusted). abandonment issues with him too: a good relationship with a big brother would've meant the world to her, but he rejected and probably abused her for years; her letter at his grave reads "ever since you left" - same word she used for Neil.

Max desperately hopes Lucas is an exception to the rule, but these are the behaviors she would naturally fear from any guy she dates.

Max is especially terrified of being abandoned (and that she deserves it)

to be abandoned over and over can naturally leave a kid wondering if it's their fault, if this is the treatment they deserve.

Lucas is overall quite honest, and there's not an abusive bone in his body. the most realistic one of Max's fears to apply to him is that someday he'll leave her, too.

and that's the worst fear Vecna chooses to voice in Lucas's form: realizing he's been wrong about her, that she's fundamentally bad and he's glad she's going to be killed. a gutting abandonment from the guy she most wants to trust.

Vecna-Susan also tells Max that she deserves what's going to happen to her, that she's "broken everything" and that her letters can't make things right. because he's in full Vecna mode when he says it, I just took those as very general condemnations at first. but they hurt even worse when I remember they're still coming from "Susan" - revealing that Max feels she has broken her family.

she wanted Billy to die, and she figures Neil left because Billy died, so that's two of the abandonments being "her fault". if that's true, Max would also feel responsible for destroying her mom's life - having cost her her marriage, home, and financial security.

in her addictions Susans has, in an emotional sense, abandoned Max just like all her other family members - and Max fears she deserves it. how desperate she was for this hug... :(

anyway, back to lumax: let's reexamine those s3 dumpings

what exactly did Lucas even do? we never find out.

on first watch, I took "boyfriends lie" at face value and assumed Lucas got caught fibbing. but that doesn't fit so well.

he's maybe the party member most invested in "friends don't lie". honesty to his friends is a pillar of his character. again, he caused friction in 2 because he so strongly prioritized honesty to Max. to assume based on one line from an unreliable narrator that he randomly became a huge liar over the summer is unfair.

via their counseling of Mike and El, Lucas and Max tell us what's been going on with lumax

Max tells El:

He'll come crawling back to you in no time, begging for forgiveness. I guarantee him and Lucas are totally wallowing in self-pity and misery right now like "ohh, I hope they take us back!"

I think we all clocked that one: Max thinks that because El followed her technique, Mike will come crawling back - because Lucas has come crawling back to her several times now.

but I haven't seen much discussion about how the spying scene (which "he'll come crawling back" is paired with) shows Lucas assuring Mike that he's been dumped for an unfair and illogical reason because that's what Max has done to him several times now.

M: I just don't understand what I did to deserve this. L: Nothing. Nothing. That's my whole point. You are the victim here. Stop asking rational questions. M: I know, I know, you're right. Because women act on emotion and not logic. L: Precisely. It's a totally different species.

Max is pissed. but has she been irrational, acting on emotion and not logic, and dumping him for no apparent reason all summer? signs point to yes.

and I understand Lucas saying this. it's not pure misogyny out of nowhere; he's been told that his mother expects gifts and apologies even when wrong, Max acts that way too, and now so apparently does El. all of his examples concur that this is just how women in relationships are. (Charles Sinclair how many relationships will your advice destroy lmao)

both Max and Lucas are bringing preconceptions from home.

Max acts this way on purpose

I don't think she's dumped him over truly nothing (although that's how it looks to him). I'm thinking she blows real, minor missteps out of proportion.

any time Lucas does something slightly insensitive, it looks like the first red flag to her, and instead of communicating in a constructive way, she just throws up this "boys aint shit" force field and dumps him. of course she doesn't truly want to be rid of him, she's just sorta snapping the leash.

I think Max knows what she's doing. I think she wants to keep Lucas always on his back foot, because the relationship isn't as scary if she feels like she holds all the power.

she's always trying to cover up fear/sorrow with anger, because anger gives an illusion of control. and she's been conscious of that anger, and the fact that it's unfair to Lucas, since the beginning - that's what she apologized for on the bus. "I guess I'm angry too, and I'm sorry."

she was mature enough at 13 to see the error in her behavior, but still not mature enough by 15 to fix it. every season has just been a slightly different flavor of "leave before you get left".

so, that's my take on Max's relationship behavior. but again, explanations aren't excuses. Lucas deserves to be treated well, and that's not happening.

what needs to happen?

simply maturing more will help them both a lot. being 15 is a terrible condition in of itself.

I don't see Lucas dumping Max's ass, but she should take her own advice before the relationship continues: explain herself and fix the garbage parts of her behavior.

before Max can be the girlfriend Lucas deserves, she needs a substantial period of physical and emotional healing.

she needs renewed connections with her friends and family, and a lot of general growth in the area of communication and processing her feelings.

in regards to Lucas, she needs to work on her trust issues, and learn to extend him the treatment warranted by his behavior, not the behavior she fears from others. she needs to learn that "friend" and "girlfriend" aren't mutually exclusive, that real friendship is the key to their relationship, and is a two-way street.

any Billy racism/assault acknowledgement would be better years late than never, especially if grieving Billy continues to be a focus in front of Lucas.

Lucas could also use a little work

the relentless positivity doesn't serve Max well. often it turns out to be empty reassurances which make her feel let down (so, a soft version of the lies she fears). she let him know in 4x4 that this hurts her, but he kept doing it for the rest of the season.

but the big one is that "happy wife happy life" doesn't serve him well, and rewarding unfair treatment perpetuates the problem. yes, the ability to compromise, swallow pride, and be the bigger person are healthy parts of a relationship, as well as the willingness to extend grace to your partner/friend when they're struggling. but it always being on one designated person is a recipe for dissatisfaction and resentment.

Lucas should voice to Max that he, too, has struggles and needs support. I'd like to see him pursue outside interests unapologetically.

no, this isn't an exhaustive list, and I don't expect to see everything fixed at once, or explicitly processed onscreen. but I sure hope we get some evidence of change, and that this has all been part of an arc.

for instance, I'd love for the final lumax reconciliation to be Max asking Lucas to take her back.

I kind of hope not to see them officially together until the very end. in fact I'd so much rather see ST end on a good Max / Lucas friendship with an implied romantic future than jump back to the status quo.

l don't want to see lumax until it's a new lumax, based on real, reciprocal friendship.

He still refused to let Sanemi ask Giyuu out until Sanemi apologized profusely to Nezuko and promised to devote his life to making Giyuu happy

which sanemi did with reluctance because he was done dealing with the kamado's but he didn't really want to drop giyuu-

For a bit into the SaneGiyuu relationship, Tanjiro and Nezuko avoided Sanemi like a plague until he won them over with his old big brother 'Nemi charms

(they're still a bit dubious about him but have warmed up to his presence at least)

(although you can be sure Tanjiro's watching him closely)

When I sent that ask I had just come from twitter where some ARMYs where claiming that dropping Muse and Who to support Yoongi is what Jimin would want, that his album has been out for a month already so it not a big deal to move on.

I saw you reblog that post about Jimin standing with Yoongi, along with not seeing you post much about the hate Jimin has been getting lately, and my frustration towards those that are dropping Jimin to support Yoongi may have been projected on to you.

I don't expect you to be a "content creator", I'm very grateful for the time and energy you give to answer our questions and make thoughtful posts about Jikook and BTS. I have seen you post asks with reporting links before, so I was under the assumption that was something you allowed on your blog (especially for serious issues). If that has changed (which is fine! some people want their blogs/accounts/fandom spaces to be free of reports and anti discussion), I'm sorry for not knowing or not remembering!

It was not at all my intention to victimize Jimin, as I said people have resorted to saying things like "Jimin would want us to do this" and thus using Jimin's loving friendship with Yoongi as a way to justify not supporting Jimin anymore (or as much).

I have noticed that you hadn't posted about Yoongi! I was actually wondering if you were doing alright seeing as he is also your bias. I had even wanted to ask you if you knew some good sources to get information on what was happening, because there was a lot of misinformation and I was genuinely scared for Yoongi.

Seeing as this was a misunderstanding on my part, I don't wish to unfollow you if that's okay? Chapter Two and this recent year has made finding actual ARMYs who support ALL SEVEN members hard. I made the unfortunate decision to comment on a tiktok saying

Which made me actually realize in the context of Stolitz how much the fandom vilifies Blitz.

Upon rewatch I realized that he is actually kinda innocent lmao. So here comes the rant hop on in Verda rants at 4am again train.

The thing is first of all we need to work our media literacy muscles. So Stolas stans who think he is a uwu babygirl that dod nothing wrong repeat after me. "Blitz didn't watch "just look my way", "owl in a cage" or any other Stolas longing scene that we cried over"

Now that thats setteled I don't want to hear any "he is trying" bs because as of now (pre full moon s2e8) he hasn't actually done anything that Blitz is aware.

Lets start from the top my initial comment was about how Stolas treated him for so long before actually catching the feelings and how Blitz has a right to think he is not genuine.

Up top lest start with the condescending pet names and I won't be hearing Blitz cant be mad at that Stolas does it bc he thinks he likes it... jesus okay s2e1 when stolas starts the imp dirty talk what does blitz do a) encourage him b) get naked and dtf bc that was hot, c) shuts him up

Ding ding ding C. Stolas can still take this as bedtime play sure but we have a case for Blitz not liking it from day one. Other than that we all know he views Stolas' (perhaps in his mind endearing) pet names as condescention.

Secondly even if we ignore the power imbalance Stolas is the one to suggest the transactional fucking... s1e1 even tho in the forst time it was Blitz's doing, sorta. So don't at me saying well Blitz just uses him for the grimoire, like girly duh that was the premise. But Stolas also uses Blitz. Imo lending a book vs fucking in payment is a bot excessive but for Blitz's case beggars cant be chosers.

Now to the elephant in the room... Ozzie's. Does Blitz invite him (Stolas) purely out of selfish intentions that has nothing to do with him? Yes. Is he a dick? Yes. But Does Stolas hide his fucking face when he has a reality check? Yes. But then y'all be mad bc Blitz pulled his hand back.

That night Stolas was read once, Blitz was like at least 2 times... if we don't count the stuff for Stolas by proxy. He was having a hard night bro. And after Stolas invites him he is like no and Stolas respects that. Which if the show didn't add s2e2 in between it wouldve been a perfect stepping stool to get the Stolitz on healthy communication territory but that didn't happen.

I cannot for the life of me pin point when Stolas genuinely falls for Blitz. If its from day one damn it took him long enough to understand what he was doing was wrong.

Anyways we as fans can't be mad at Stolas because we know he is starting to understand the absolute power imbalance he created and the position he left Blitz in. He has realized that the thing is lets remember and repeat "Blitz is not watching the show with us". Blitz doesn't know of this sudden change of heart.

Now to adress a few meaningful interactions we have after ozzies. The fucking pixelated phone texts from s2 western energy.

Stolas apologizes but in that way that I look down upon. "Sorry if" like girl own it up anyways Blitz brushes it off and Stolas instead just goes hehe I didnt care either. Yall need relationship therapy my god. Important thing is Stolas was trying to reach out. But instead of going anything I said that made you upset etc he could've actually apologize properly for getting ashamed. Tho Blitz should also apologize for inviting him on a date for his own gain but thats another bag of worms I won't open tonight.

Other than that he has put off seeing him and doing the transactional fucking for a while. During those times. And as we know from all the phones Blitz breaks after talking to Stolas and hearing hus dirty talk he isn't too excited about. We don't exactly know if he comes or not on those nights. But he is also showm to be quite comfortable in s2e2 with the "my dick is good but its not that good" comment so maybe they do continue the arrangement... idk. Either way we know they haven't really talked.

All I am saying is that both parties of this ship are guilty af of hurting eachother and taking advantage of eachother. But as the power house of this power imbalance, Stolas needs to be held accountable. And he is doing that now!! Or will, in s2e8 and I can't wait to see how that goes. Overall, I can see totally why Blitz shuts down any signs that Stolas might actually be into him. He has a good bunch of reasons too. And as far as we've seen from the trailer we will get to hear him say it out loud as he should.

so a lot of things happened since my last update and i havent exactly been too open about my plans for the future of my fics (mostly bc ive been in a big debate over it) so im gonna just use this post as a chance to update my followers.

As much as I hate to say it, I unfortunately, at this time, i dont have any immediate plans on continuing it. (IM SO SORRY T-T) There was a point where i was actually in the process of rewriting it. I had originally written myself into a tiny lil corner so I started reworking some plot points. I had a WHOLE universe planned out essentially!!

Buuuut then things got pretty hectic in my life >_< work got stressful for a while (which was the only time i could get myself to write LOL), and then i got into a car accident (im fine!) and that stressed me out p badly, and then some personal family stuff happened. And then i JUST NOW got over a really bad sickness that I had since like. Thanksgiving LOL its been fun.

But i guess i just got out of the habit of writing and lost the motivation to do so. And then my ADHD started hyperfocusing on other shows/games (Rune Factory guardians of azuma is RIGHT around the corner, and Mo Dao Zu Shi has me in a chokehold currently) and its just been all over the place. I am so so so so glad you enjoyed what I wrote for BVM and i genuinely hope that one day, I'll get that surge of motivation again to rewrite what I had planned!! Since this is anonymous you can take this with a grain of salt, but I would like to add some stuff onto the conversation.

I actually apologized to churrofeast recently, because I was under the assumption that they had at least improved and learned from their prior behavior, especially when it comes to their whole thing with wonderultra and the mutual harrassment between the two that's been going on since they were like 12. And I am dissapointed to say, that from recent events from I think December of last year to now it hasn't improved much at all. And has still been perpetuating hate towards Jason. The ferret claim is true.

Churrofeast, and some other friends of theirs in a group chat I think, made a fake bid on a YCH animation meme Jason made several years ago, which was to help pay for his ferrets medical bills. BECAUSE of this, both of them died. And I genuinely do mean because of the fake bid they passed. I currently hold the sentiment that regardless of how old you are, or were at the time, that kind of shit is NOT okay.

Churro had also just continued to lie about Jason, along with several other people that just in general dislike them. Like the recent zoophillia claim on Jason because of some fucking art he made LMAO.

I believe the original post talking about it, had a link to a tweet with the proof regarding the ferret situation. So I don't feel the need to link it.

There's a lot I would like to change about the PSA or update looking back on it in my mind, since although it was well done, there were quite a lot of things that didn't add up or I didn't have enough evidence for. There's a LOT I didn't add to it too. I could possibly remake it, because this has been going on for YEARS. And it is not okay nor healthy for anyone involved, but I'm also not for canceling a minor and all that shit. And I haven't really participated in the subject enough to keep tabs and collect evidence anymore (and a lot of it is again, on my deleted discord acc.)

If anyone has evidence from that, saved and you feel that it's substantial, I encourage you to share it.

I'd just like to remind people who do speak on this subject, to please keep an open mind. Lots of people who are involved are seriously mentally ill, and there's a LOT of lying involved and misinformation. Although, don't excuse their behavior because of it, just use it to try and explain why they're acting the way they are. And also remember that these are mostly all kids still. This shit is going to happen with kids as much as I hate it.

anyways my rant was that rick x michonne was done so dirty. they were both my favorite characters so a romance between the two SHOULD have felt epic for me, but it just fell flat. rick went from being deranged and infatuated with that blonde lady who he knew for all of two seconds with the abusive husband one second and then, with no lead up beyond their friendship and great ability to work together, the next second rick and michonne are having a romantic moment, which correct me if i remember wrong, immediately led to sex and then the next day they were just an item??? and like i know the show ain’t a romance show. i’m prolly dumb for fixating rn. but it annoyed me so bad bc it felt sooo rushed. here we have pivotal characters with loads of interactions, but the show didn’t think it would be a good idea to like build some romance before just jumping us all with it? the way the pacing was done made it seem like rick just settled for michonne bc blonde lady was with her husband and i dunno. i wanted something more epic for michonne 😭 either that or just leave the romance out. like it wasn’t necessary? they could have had a continued great partnership without it being romantic in my eyes.

No, TWD is not a romance show but it does have romantic elements. We get glimpses into their lives. It is, in fact, a facet of the show. Retaining the aspects of what it means to be human while fighting and dealing with grosser and grosser looking walkers.

That whole romance with Jessie was so rushed and such bullshit. I genuinely don't know what they were thinking. There should have been more moments of side glances between Michonne and Rick and if they were deadset on having Jessie (blonde woman) be a sort of character who has the offer of romance to Rick, we should have seen him be conflicted.

Why conflicted? He and Michonne aren't even an item. They've never seen shared words with one another that could be mistaken for a second as romantic. And Jessie is beautiful, so why is hesitating? Why did he think of Michonne the moment Jessie tries to kiss him? He leaves the house but swears to Jessie that its not her fault, he just has to get up early tomorrow morning to meet with Deanna (it's a lie).

The next few days, we see him and Michonne, the de facto sheriffs of Alexandria spending more time together. Maybe Deanna makes a passive comment that can't be determined to be intentional or genuinely inquiring. She says something like, "That Michonne is a tough one. A lot of strength in those eyes. I can see why you two are so drawn to each other." Rick turns to her, a tempered look of incredulity on his face as he says, "We're not..." He pauses, as Deanna raises a natural thin, brow, waiting for him to finish his sentence. Rick holds her gaze, unsure if she was implying something or if, again, she had truly misconstrued a situation that he himself could not define.

He glances down, sniffing a moment before grunting, "It's not like that."

Deanna changes the subject, transitioning with a simple, "At any rate..."

But the conversation stays with Rick. It frames every conversation that he has with Michonne after that moment. Every time Michonne looks at him, he hears his conflicted statement: "It's not like that."

When he sees Jessie again, she apologizes for crossing a line. He nods, but he doesn't say anything.

And then blah blah blah all the plot shit, Michonne and Rick have their time in front of the fire and kiss.

Hey i think ive sent compliments about ur stranger things fic on here before too but skdhdk i recently reread it again (at this point i think i do come back to it once a year lmao) and i just had to come back here again because i feel like its only gotten better on the reread!!! Everytime i remember what a disappointment the recent seasons of the show have become i come back to ur fic and am always astounded by the amount of care you've put into the story and the affection you have for the characters and truly fleshing them out the way you did. Especially a big fan now of the way you tackled the question of "how do we decide something or someone is a monster" on the latest reading between neil hargrove tuning into his radio, james harrington deciding who were real people and who are the monsters who needed to be contained, and ofc the little girls who knew themselves to be monsters now because of things theyve gone through but still try their best to hang onto things they love. Something i didnt pay attention to on the first reading but now i cant stop thinking about it!!! Esp with how jonathan immediately forms a rapport with the abused children instantly because he knows what its like to inherit that monstrousness from violence thats been done to you and desperately wanting to rise above it + the sympathy w which you wrote kali genuinely put this above anything the show could put out at this point. Maybe ever because i dont think the show could truly ever commit to the political stance its first season demanded. Thank u so much!!!!! I liked how now that theres smth of a positive relationship bw hopper and kali, theres potential for a kali and sara hopper team up in the future and possibly how hopper can keep in touch if sara ever decided to reach out.

Optional question for u to respond to: in the story its constantly referenced that jonathan met steves dad at some point and that was probably when steve was told that he wasnt to hang out with the byers. Im guessing that was when joyce dropped him off that halloween cause thats when steve started finding loopholes to meet up with him? (btw the choice of making jonathan and steve childhood friends + steve and nancy always being jonathans first loves and them eventually falling into that same configuration the two of them promised each other even when jonathan was the only careful custodian of that memory and never brought it up???? Yeeeeagh. I don't remember if I had a thing for this? It's been a few years. The Halloween thing is from The Wolves in the Walls which was the original first chapter of this when it was still gonna be a 5 chapter character study instead of a you know, novel. I think in the fic proper it was that his dad was just around more when he was in grade school and just started to have to leave constantly when the project really ramped up around when Terry Ives/Ken/Gloria/Alice joined and 11 was born?

Remember Soren doesn't even know this is her dad yet, he just suddenly is facing a Much Bigger assassin that he's never seen before in his life in this AU.

To be fair Andromeda only bothered to use one sickle on Corvus, because he was cooperative and not, yk, a Dark Mage. She wouldn't stoop to flirting with a dark mage, it'd give her the creeps, even though Claudia is, realistically speaking, an adult in the context of the world.

The elves are . . . still suspicious of Corvus yes lmao.

Rayla definitely did not have that. If someone hadn't interrupted she was cooked, unless she did the wise thing for once in her life and just bolted after this moment and maybe Claudia didn't catch her with a spell.

Same way he caught up in canon! He probably was running like, right on their heels, and he's just a little slower than they are.

I'm genuinely torn about whether Soren is that much of a goof, that he's just being petty over the mud, or if he's just used to restraining himself/toning things down to make his charges feel better and he's saying that to avoid scaring Callum too much or pissing Rayla off and putting Callum in more danger.

Oh yeah Claudia has this special sort of irreverence and carelessness to her that hits me right in the most annoyed bone in my body. Ram is so pissed.

On a level Runaan has always known he was right, it's just a difficult situation to navigate given their past as a family. He's now just stuck in the complication of trying to navigate embracing her more and also letting her find her own feet at the same time.

Different Path Taken Ch27 P2

Runaan's perspective takes over - his reaction to the fight, and to hearing Rayla's story about it afterwards.

They were about to settle the children for bed after a last meal when Callisto’s tone instantly caught Runaan’s attention, tense and alarmed. “Does anyone else hear that?”

Glancing at them and twitching his ears in the same direction as they all froze, Runaan’s blood ran cold as he recognized the sound of metal clashing against metal.  He quickly ran his eyes over who was present.  The other elves were all close by, with the exception of Ram and Lujanne, who were standing a little apart from them with Phoe-Phoe and Ava.

“Rayla,” Her name came out in a rush of breath as his heart clenched with the realization.  She was the only one missing.

He bolted for the noise with barely a further thought, trusting that Ezran and Callum would be safe near Lujanne in the heart of the Nexus.  A few of the moths that fluttered around the Nexus flew along his path, guiding him directly to the fight.  He heard the words of Dark Magic and Rayla’s cry of pain lit a rage in his heart that he ruthlessly caged for use when it wouldn’t get in his way.

There was space between them when he arrived, sensing the others around him.  He trusted them to take appropriate positions and dropped from the trees directly between Rayla and the swordsman who had drawn back to strike at her again, brandishing his own comparable swords to block him.  Around him more blades unfolded and flickered into existence.  Skor took up a position behind the human swordsman, a blade poking into his back.  Callisto flanked Runaan, far enough away to block any attempts by the swordsman to dodge in their direction.  Andromeda’s sickles both wrapped around the neck of the mage, forcing her to lean back awkwardly against the older woman.  Ram flanked them just as Callisto was doing, twirling throwing daggers between his fingers.  Corvus, surprisingly, had kept up and stood between the other two humans. 

Everything went still for a moment.  Both humans and Rayla were breathing heavily.  Runaan tilted his head and angled his ear back towards her, heart pounding erratically in his chest. “Are you all right, Rayla?”

“I’m fine,” She spat, and he could just imagine her flattened ears and the curl of her lip just from her tone. “I had it!”

“Sure, if it makes you feel better to say so,” The swordsman sneered from in front of him and Runaan narrowed his eyes, baring his fangs at the man.

“Stop!” Callum’s shout took them all by surprise. 

“Callum?” The mage asked in disbelief.

“Don’t fight each other,” Callum ordered, and Runaan noted the moths fluttering around him.  Something in the Nexus had approved of this - guided the boy to their sides.  He frowned deeply. “You’re not enemies.”

Every fiber of his being protested this, but the swordsman was actually lowering his blade at Callum’s urging, wasn’t even holding it up to block any attacks from Runaan. 

“Your friends tried t’ kill me!” Rayla protested. 

“They kidnapped you!”

“She threw mud in my face and some got in my mouth!”

Fascinating.  The mage was angry about their supposed kidnapping, but after being called off, the soldier’s priority wasn’t to contradict the prince, but to gripe about a petty grievance?

“Okay, okay,” Callum said, skidding in next to Runaan and putting his hands out in a calming gesture.  His back was to the elves, placing himself firmly on their side. “Knock it off a second.  Just let me explain.  First of all, Claudia and Soren, I don’t know what you’re doing here, but I’m really glad to see you.”

“Are you kiddin’?” Rayla squawked. “They attacked me!  How can ye be glad?”

“They bring dark magic to a sacred site,” Ram spat. “And violence to a place of grief and peace.”

“Bup bup bup bup bup!” Callum held up his fingers at them both to silence them. “Yeah, they’re two of my oldest friends, and I am glad to see them.” He turned back to the mage and soldier. “But not glad to see you trying to murder my new friend, Rayla, who happens to be-”

“She’s an elf!” The soldier half-shouted, but his sword remained low and he gestured only with his hands, going lower rather than looming over his young friend.

“But a good elf,” Callum contradicted, and Runaan’s back nearly straightened with offense. 

Rayla shot up beside him to speak her mind as he saw Skor’s expression twist unpleasantly behind the soldier’s shoulder. “What do ye mean ‘but a good elf’?” She demanded angrily.

Runaan was slightly grateful for her fury as it drew her into his eyeline, and he could glance her over and be sure almost right away she had no major cuts or lacerations.  He would check later for anything internal or beneath her armor.

“She kidnapped you and Prince Ezran, how can she be-” the mage started, and broke off abruptly when Andromeda’s sickles tightened on her neck.  They weren’t yet drawing blood but the threat was clear.

“There was no kidnapping,” Callum said firmly. “We went with her and the others by choice.  We knew about all of them when we left.”

“I can confirm that,” Corvus said seriously, lowering his own weapon and looking between the other humans.

The swordsman narrowed his mud-encrusted eyes at him. “And who are you exactly?”

Interesting that he didn’t know.

“I’m Corvus.  One of General Amaya’s personal trackers.” Corvus didn’t miss a beat in replying coolly. “She sent me to find and recover her nephews safely.  And who exactly sent you?”

The swordsman paused for a moment, looking from Corvus to the mage and back. “. . . Also . . . General Amaya,” he said slowly.

Corvus frowned. “Really?” he said just as slowly, brows angled skeptically. “Odd.  I would have thought she’d send one of her own.”

“Commander Gren is uh, indisposed.  So Lord Viren sent us in his stead.” The mage explained, and her fingers spread a little wider as Andromeda huffed from behind her. 

Alarm bells went off in Runaan’s mind after the other suspicions they’d had all seemed to link back to Lord Viren, but none of them seemed to have any effect on Prince Callum.  The boy shrugged it off with a roll of his shoulders and a shake of his head. “Well, I’m glad you’re here.  It’s . . . good to see some familiar faces.  The elves have been really helpful with a lot, but . . . knowing what happened to Dad . . . it’s just nice to see an older friend too.”

Both humans frowned. “You . . . already know what happened to the king?” The mage asked tentatively. 

“Yeah.  We were with the elves when the magic that was holding them to the task just broke, even though they weren’t anywhere near him.” Callum said, not seeming to notice the alarm in the teenagers’ faces as they exchanged glances. “Listen, it’s late.  Why don’t we all just go get some rest and cool off.  Everyone lower your weapons, and we’ll explain everything in the morning.”

Runaan waited until the swordsman sheathed his blade to fold his own again and sling the bow across his chest.  Skor’s lip curled but he reluctantly stepped back, holding his own sword neutral again.  Callisto leaned on their glaive rather than folding it up again, eyes narrow. 

“Mages first,” Andromeda’s voice was smooth and lyrical the way it got when she was teasing or threatening someone.  

“Age before beauty,” The mage sneered in reply.

Andromeda chuckled humorlessly. “Cute.  But I said it first, darling.”

“How would that work?” Ram asked idly. “Either way I think that works out in Andromeda’s favor.”

“Don’t be a bully, Ram,” Callisto taunted a bit with a smirk. “From what Ezran’s said, Claudia’s only sixteen, she has time t’ grow into herself.”

Claudia looked furious, but she lowered her hands and she smiled when Callum looked at her.  Only once she had relaxed did Andromeda unhook her sickles from around the young woman’s neck and let her stand up properly. 

Runaan turned immediately to Rayla with everyone disarmed, crouching beside her and running his eyes critically over her. “Rayla, come here.” He ordered, tugging her into reach the moment she let him touch her, tucking her in to examine her.

“I told ye, I’m fine, Runaan,” She protested verbally, but she let him pull her in, and she knelt in front of him to let him fuss. “I had that.”

Thankfully, the others began to move back towards the buildings for warm beds, leaving them alone, and Runaan made a mental note to thank them for the privacy later as he examined her hands.  They were bright pink under the mud that he brushed away, and she winced when he touched them, as if they were just barely burned. 

“What happened to your hands?” He asked, his tone more neutral than he felt.

Rayla took a moment to respond and when she did it was reluctantly. “The mage, Claudia, she threw somethin’ on ma swords and made ’em too hot t’ touch, while I was holdin’ ’em.  It’s just a little through the mud though, I’m okay.”

Runaan wiped the worst of the mud off her hands around her gloves and took her wrists in his hands, holding them together, breathing carefully before looking her in the eyes.  Her ears were laid back and her eyes were wide with worry. “How did they catch you?” He asked evenly. 

She straightened her back and replied dutifully as always. “They tried t’ use a spell on me, but I didn’t fall for it,” She said. “It was supposed t’ be a sleep spell, so I faked it, I grabbed a blue rose and pricked myself t’ stay awake, and then when Soren was ready t’ attack me, I took him by surprise instead.”

Something cold settled in the pit of his stomach and Runaan narrowed his eyes at her. “You knew what you were going up against,” He said slowly.

Rayla shifted uncomfortably, catching his displeased tone. “Yes?” She confirmed hesitantly. “Sort of.”

“I am just trying to make certain I understand what happened,” Runaan told her, covering her wounded hands with his own. “You discovered what you were facing - that you were outnumbered and one of your opponents was a mage - and you chose to fight instead of retreating for the reinforcements you knew you had available?”

Rayla winced. “I thought I could handle it.” She said weakly. 

“That is besides the point.  Have I not taught you to use every advantage you have at your disposal?  That includes asking for help!” Runaan reminded her, his fingers tense around hers though he carefully didn’t compress them. “You could have asked anyone, it didn’t have to be me, anything that meant you weren’t going into a fight outnumbered, against a ranged opponent with no real ranged weapons.”

Rayla shrank under his censure. “I just thought . . .”

This was exactly what Ram had warned him about.  She had thrown herself into things to prove herself to him again, and Runaan stopped himself short of scolding her, suddenly realizing it would only fuel her to fight harder.  To do this again, over and over until -

Until she felt she’d proven herself to him.

He took a deep, slow breath and let go of her hands, carefully setting aside his own reactive anger and fear for her, and touched her chin to raise her eyes to his again. “You have nothing to prove to me, darling.” He said firmly, knowing too well that it was virtually useless - but trying to reassure her was all he had.  What else could he do, in this moment? “I am not saying you weren’t capable.  I am saying I wish you had called on the resources you had while you have them.  Just promise me you will do better about that.  Please.”

Rayla blinked at him, as if confused by his step back from how harsh he had been with her.  She bit her lip, looking at first one eye, then the other, studying his face before nodding slowly. “I’ll work on it.” She promised. 

“Good.  Now come here.” He tugged her in and Rayla went willingly.  He let his knees fall to the ground so he was kneeling too, allowing him to get a little closer to her to hug her against his chest, nearly hidden by his hair and arms settling around her comparatively tiny frame. 

When they parted she tucked the braid he’d given her behind her ear carefully and glanced over her shoulder. “My swords are in the mud,” She confessed, and he let her go to pick them up.

“Let’s go get your hands seen to,” He said firmly when he saw her wince a little as she folded the butterfly blades and tucked them against her back. “Then you are sleeping with me again.”

She snorted but she was smiling a little, looking down at the path rather than at his eyes. “Okay, Dad.”

His voice caught in his throat again at the title, and he tucked her under his arm as they walked back to their building at the Nexus.  The others had all disappeared into somewhere by now, and they saw no one as they mounted the stairs, at least.

Lucky for the mage and soldier, honestly.  His temper still hadn’t fully cooled, though he had set it aside to care for his cub.  His daughter.  

As he put the soothing cream on her hands, somewhat unnecessarily, to make her more comfortable to sleep, he was transported back to years in the past when he had applied this same cream to her itching spots after she first discovered what he did.  The tiny frame scowling bitterly at his hands, refusing to look at his face.  The way she had complained the entire time.

There was no complaining now, instead it was sighs of relief she tried to hide.  She still wasn’t looking at him, but it was interest on her face, not bitterness.  It was still the same little girl he had held all those years ago, though.  The same face whose hands he had bandaged time and again to prepare her for training. The same one he had patched up after her experience with the river on the blood moon.  The one he had placed sun’s tears poultice over her scrapes and bruises every day after training for years on end.  The same one he had held on his lap while Ti- while her mother did this for her after her first experience with nettles at the tender age of four.  The same one he had steadied in his hands as she brandished a little stick like a sword.  The little bundle he had handed over to Tiadrin in that little copse of trees on the plains before they reached Moonshadow Forest, when she had gone into labor early.

She wouldn’t remember all of those.  She would remember mostly the ones that featured only him and Ethari, with comparatively few from her other parents.  

What closure could there possibly be for him down this thought trail?  Her other parents were dead.  He would never get to confront them about their choices, never get to tell them how their selfishness had hurt him.  How he had set his own dreams of having a child aside to take care of theirs, only for them to be gone so long she became more his than theirs.  

Rayla didn’t comment on how heavily he scent marked her when he was done soothing her hands, or how he cuddled her where she couldn’t move without his knowledge when they settled into bed.  She just huffed a little at the position and submitted to it.

Skor was right.

Rayla was his.

He would never let anything stand in the way of that again.

4. Nishinoya Yuu

Yea boi he's excited.

Yuu have been always a fan of yours. Sure he loves Shimizu Kiyoko more than anyone (expect Tanaka lmao) But you, you're just so different that you shines in his eyes.

"Sleepover at (Y/n)'s home?! Not Bad!"

He is excited as hell.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Is your house bigg?" He excitedly asks. "Well, you'll see." You answered.

He cannot calm down geez. Unlike Asahi, who's nervous as hell he's very excited and everybody can tell.

"You guys can dry yourselves here, i'll shower first and prepare your dinner!"

Something about seeing your domestic self seems very unusual to him. He's not used to you who's not yelling and controlling people in the Gym.

You seems very famous for your strictness to the boys. But they're not complaining though.

He waits (strangely) patiently and being his usual self, with Tanaka he guards the bathroom.

"We, as a real gentlemen we have to guard our lady from danger. Especially when she's in her vulnerable state." Nishinoya explained. Tanaka answered with his nods.

Ofc you can hear everything from inside. "OI YOU TWO GET OUT FROM THE DOOR!" you opened the door, with bathrope on and wet hair.

Ofc these two guys arestunned. "Omg (Y/n), you're actually so hot-" "GET OUT!" you kicked both of them to the living room and quickly change to your clothes.

Doesn't took too long before you finished cooking dinner with Sugawara and bring them to table.

They all eat so much. You barely eats. That's alright, they worked so hard. It must be tough for them.

This guardian deity noticed that you don't eat much. So he gave a few portion of his Karaage to you. Without you even noticing.

"Eh,? I'm sure i finished mine though." You wondered. Nishinoya grins, "It seems like the Kaarage fairy likes you, (Y/n)!" Followed by cheering from Hinata asking if Kaarage fairy is real or not.

You know it's from him. It's not rare for Nishinoya sharing his food but it warms your heart.

"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."

"I VOLUNTEER MYSELF!" Nishinoya shouted before Sugawara holds himself. "No you're not! I don't trust you!"

"Nishinoya-senpai is tiny so i'm sure he can sleep with the others just fine." Kageyama adds. "HAAH WHAT DID YOU SAAAYYY?!"

Omg the chaos. You had enough for some point.

"Geez! I'll sleep by myself. Don't make a ruckus and Good night." You snaps while closing the door. Leaving some of them guilty.

You can't lie that you feel a little upset. Maybe you're tired. Yeah, you're prolly tired. You're gonna apologize to everyone in the morning.

It's been hours since you turn off the light. Hell it's already midnight and you can't seems to fall asleep. You're mentally and physically tired but your eyes don't want to close even an inch.

So you left your room. Moving around a little hoping you'll get (even) more tired. You move slowly, making sure you don't make so much noise that loud enough to wake everybody.

A glass of water is enough to calm yourself down right? Nah it's not. You're still hungry.

"Psst. Hey."

You turn your head around, a boy with dark drown locks and a little golden blonde highlight on his bangs. It's undoubtly him.

"Noya? You haven't sleep yet?" You whispered to him. He shakes his head, but both of your movement is too loud for the first year that ate sleeping in the living room so you dragged him somewhere else.

Should you bring him to your room? Dang it but you're still upset. So you dragged him outside to terrace. Letting go of his hand as you two sits.

"Why are you still up?" Noya shrugs. "I don't know. How about you?" You shrugs back. "Idk. Prolly-" your stomach suddenly shrieks, cutting your words and Nishinoya cannot help but laugh.

"D-Don't laugh! You'll wake everybody!" You hit his arm as he coughs. "Um, wait here 'kay" he left. You have no idea what he's planning but oh well.

You hug your knees as you looks up, the sky is so clear. Thanks to the rain and storm earlier.

You nose picks up something. A savory delicious smell coming from inside the house. Wait is this his plan?

Not so long, Noya came back with two noodle cups. He gave one to you and place himself right next to you. He only give you a grin before you two busy enjoying your instant noodle.

Not only your stomach but your heart warms up now. It's the little silence that you two in.

You smiled. After putting your cup of noodle away you chuckles.

Nishinoya confused. "What? You still hungry??"

You shakes you head, "I just don't remember keeping instant cup noodles though.." "Oh it was mine. I brought spare food everywhere, because y'know i eat a lot." Nishinoya grins.

You thanked him as you ruffles his golden bangs. And your hand quickly got snatch from his head before you know it you already cornered between him and the cold concrete wall behind you.

He slowly release your hand and apologize. Very ashamed of what he have done. He excuse himself but you stopped him.

"...Stay for a while."

God how can he say no?

Being in the same grade as you provide him with a lots of opportunities. Not only he can see you everyday outside the club activity, he's given the opportunity of interacting with you because you two are in the same class ans apparently, you sat beside him.

He nods and sits back while you quietly watch over his side profile. Damn, you never knew that Nishinoya is actually.. Pretty good-looking.

"Sorry, i acted without thinking earlier."

"Nah, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Also, gotta admit though, you look cool with your hair down, Noya."

You can tell he's surprised. A girl? Tell him he looks cool? What? In? The? World? Is? Happening???

It seems like the cold air and the full stomach is now making you drowsy. Noya notices this, he grabs your hand and leads you to your room.

"There there. Sleep tight kay?" He spoke as he cover your whole body with blanket. It's warm.

But it's not enough.

"Hnnh.. Noya, cold." You whine.

"Haa?? Then what do you want me to do? Cuddle you up?" He jokes. Well suprisingly you nods.

Noya shocked, but why not right? He smiles as he enters the soft blanket of yours and sighed.

"Fine i'll spoon you."

5. Tanaka Ryuunosuke

OMF THE CHAOS

He's literally dreading to go to your house.

"Oh shit nvm Kiyoko-san is number one- ...but sleepover at (Y/n)-san's house though, BUT KIYOKO-SAN!! B-But (Y/n)-san.."

Yeah that's what his mind probably looks like. He obviously loves Kiyoko but heck, when you appear infront of him. It's like another flower has bloom.

He swear to himself that he only devotes himself to Shimizu Kiyoko and not do anything weird but protect you as Karasuno's manager and that's it.

But when he enters your house, and seeing everybody so relaxed, he thinks "heh why not?"

Especially when he saw you getting out from the shower. He feels like he just cameback fro a long day at work and his wife is serving him-

WAIT NO THINK OF SHIMIZU KIYOKO.

Dang it, he hates himself. He can't pick. He loves Kiyoko so much but you.. You keep disturbing him.

And ofc you don't even know that this is what's going on. You only think that Tanaka loves Shimizu-senpai so it's cool he acts very defensive to the managers especially when they're outside the school.

But why is so nervous yet so happy when he sees you?

You cameback from the kitchen, placing the dinner on the table with Suga-san helping you out.

The entire scenario of you being his wife serving him right after he cameback from his work is very vivid.

He shakes his heaed as he stuff and chomps down his rice. Secretly stealing a gaze over your direction. Everybody's attention is slightly moves towards you too.

The way you eat, the way you speak, the way you smiles..

He ignores those all and focus on his meal and moves his focus elsewhere by teasing another member whose embarassed or flustered just because they're in your house.

But he's secretly overwhelmed too.

And not so long it's sleeping time.

"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."

"I'LL DO IT!" "NO YOU DUMBASS! STOP COCKBLOCKING ME TANAKA!" "STOP IT YOU TWOO!!!"

Sugawara was quick to respond. But you already sighs and shakes your head. "Nevermind i'll sleep by myself.. Goodnight Guys."

Shit. He felt guilty now.

He tried to erase his feeling of guilty away, Nishinoya and the others are very quick to fall asleep. They left him alone. Awake in the darkness.

He can't sleep with this guilty feeling on his chest. As a true man, he must deal with his problem straight away.

So he brace himself and lightly knock on your door.

No answer. "Shit, she's probably already asleep. I should just wait untill tomorrow-" and the door opens.

Revealing you with a sleepy face and messy hair. So you did already sleepy.

"S-SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO INTERRUPT. PLEASE GO BACK TO SLE-" "Tanaka shhh.. Not so loud.." you yawns as you rubs your eyes.

"It's fine, what is it? I'm awake now." You smiles. He want to say something. Tanaka is a simple guy, if something is interrupting him, he will told you immediately.

"No ah.. I'm sorry (Y/n)-san. You should probably go back to sleep-" "Geez.. Be quite!" A shout suddenly startled both of you. Causing you to quickly drags Tanaka inside and shutting the door.

"Okay, what do you want to say?"

Man, Tanaka Ryuunosuke is stop working.

He's inside your room, he always wonder what a girl's room looks like. (His Onee-san's room is a very different one in his perspective)

"Hellooo? Earth to Tanaka? Ya there?" You wave your hand infront of him as you tap his bald head.

"A-Ah yes! It's.. I want to apologize about earlier." "Huh? Oh, that's alright. I was just tired so a little ruckus kinda bugs me. But that's okay, i'm sorry too for sounding so annoyed, eheh."

Your awkward pure genuine smile moves his heart.

He smiles. Is that it? Is this his choice?

"Say (Y/n)-san.." "Geez Tanaka drop the suffix. We're in the same year." You protest. Tanaka awkwardly chuckles and nods.

"What is it?" You wonder. Anticipating an answer from a boy who's sitting infront of you.

"Do you.. Have someone in your mind?" He looks down. Didn't even that brave to look at your eye. Untill he feels a little thud in his shoulder. He looks up..

You fell asleep on his shoulder. Oh my God.

The panic.

He's panicking inside and it shows. You, who's now asleep and sound on his shoulder suddenly slides to his lap.

But one things he notices, your hand.. It won't let go of his hand. Even though he relase your hand, you kept looking for his hand.

6. Kageyama Tobio

Honestly, this boi can't behave himself when he's near you.

HE ADORES YOU AWWW.

Y'know ya boi Tobio never really cares about the outside world of voleyball. So he never notice any stuff that's going around even if A LOT of girls in his class are crushing on him.

In the middle school everybody seems so distant from him because of his past attitude, but he's willing to change when he came to Karasuno and boom, he met you.

What a spark of fireworks.

So now his world revolves around two things. Voleyball, and you.

Kageyama doesn't want to bother you, so he decline. But his poor self didn't bring umbrella. He already made up his mind that he'll sprint to home untill he (accidentally) heard your quarel with Daichi.

Well, why not?

So this boy tags along, and being the polite boy he is he behave SO POLITE IT HURTS YOUR EYES.

"Jesus Kageyama, you don't have to be so polite." You laughs as the other members starting to notice. Kageyama's forehead form a confused expression.

He's actually pretty quiet and calm in your house. Your house remind him a lot of his Grandma's house. The atmosphere, and the living room is practically almost identical.

He tried to enjoy the moment but ofc Hinata Boge will annoy tf outta him.

When you distribute the towels, something struck your mind and he snaps you out of it.

"(Y/n)-senpai? Is anything wrong?" You shakes your head and gave him a thumbs up, i forming everything's fine. He's happy with the little interaction that you're both having.

That's just enough for him.

It's almost his turn to shower, some of the member that showered first already back, and Hinata decided to go ahead and shower first. Taking over Kageyama's turn and leaving him behind.

He was about to chase after him but Daichi pulls him back. "Don't make any ruckus." He advised Kageyama.

But Hinata strangely came back with a pale face. As if he runs to a ghost or something.

"Oi what happened? You run to a ghost or something?" He asked, mocking him.

Hinata face turns to serious yet doubtfull. Oh shit something serious must have happened. Kageyama nudge him. "What happened?"

Hinata gulps, "... I saw Suga-san and (Y/n)-senpai in the kitchen.. They were.." Kageyama scoffs. "Yea they were cooking. What else they should be doing, huh?"

"No! Listen.. They were.. Ugh.. S-Suga-san.. Cornered (Y/n)-senpai.." Hinata whispered to him. Kageyama's heart almost stopped. So it's true.

A while ago, while he was practicing his jump serve, his ear caught something rather interesting. The third years were discussing about the managers. Including you.

"How about (Y/n)?" Daichi asked. "Aaah, i think everyone in the team atleast have a crush on her though. I mean ofc i had a crush on her, who wouldn't?" Sugawara jokes. Bur Asahi agreed too.

What? So he against the senpais too?

And the first years and second years too. Wow you sure are popular.

He gets up, clenching his towel between his fist and walked to the kitchen. While Hinata tried to hold him but poor guy he gets thrown away :(

Once he stepped to the Kitchen, he saw you and Suga. But both of you are blushing. Shit, he doesn't want to admit this but he think Hinata's not telling a lie.

"Oh Kageyama? The bathroom's that way." Sugawara's finger gesture over the bathroom and helped you with the meal. He can see a glistened of rivalry in his kouhai's eyes.

"Thanks." As Kageyama shuts the door. He curse to himself. Now he have to compete with Sugawara too? Not only the setter position but.. Girls too?

He spent his showering session by collecting himself. He must not show any emotion of upsetness. Then he gets out and surprise surprise he bumped into Sugawara.

The silence between them omg.

"Excuse me-" "Hinata told you, didn't he?"

"Shit. He knew. Now play dumb Tobio."

"H-Huh? What did you say, Suga-san?" He lies. Sugawara know from the start that Hinata will run to Kageyama and spill everything. And Kageyama Tobio is bad at lying.

"You know, that me and (Y/n)-" "Food's ready!! Everybody let's gather aroundd!" His words were cut off by Daichi's announcement.

The whole dinner session are spent well, Kageyama's usual quarell with Hinata about the food and you being so wholesome and kind about it.

But the way you and Sugawara's movement after that kitchen incident keeps bothering his mind. What if Sugawara..

And dinners ended. It's turn to sleep now. He's kind off sleepy already because of his routine. So after the room division, he will go straight to bed, he think.

"Um.. Due to lack of the space, one of you have to sleep with me."

"Nishinoya-senpai is tiny so i'm sure he can sleep with the others just fine." Kageyama adds. "HAAH WHAT DID YOU SAAAYYY?!"

"Let's go to the distributed room first and see, who's the one left. He gets to stay with (Y/n)-senpai." Kageyama proposes. Actually not a bad idea.

At first everyone doesn't want to take their place but their tired body forces them too. One by one, they all collapsed on the futon or matresss once they saw one. And that left us with Sugawara and Kageyama.

"You should choose, (Y/n)." Sugawara smiles.

Kageyama's almost lost because of his consciousness running out. He's THAT sleepy yall.

"Well then, i think i'll pick.." "Sugawara! There's one spot left here!" Before you can decide, (again) Daichi interrupts. And Kageyama's eyes almost rolled back because of his sleepiness.

"Fine then. Goodnight (Y/n), Kageyama." Sugawara smile as you both walk back to your room. Holding back his emotion.

You told Kageyama to wait and prepare his bed. You feel sorry for him, he must be so tired and yet he still force himself to fully awake.

"There, Kageyama. You can sleep now- Ehhh!" Whaddya know sis, he falls down. Face first to the matrass luckily not the floor.

You chuckles a little. This boy is very adorable. You know how he adores you when you help hin with his set practice. You ran your fingers trough his jet black hair, combing his hair.

"...Nyam, i like you.. (Y/n)-senpai..."

WOW. Didn't expect someone will confess to you trough sleep talking but sure i guess. A little laugh burst from you lips. Cheeks a lil' warm.

"Sweet dreams, Tobio.."

You are missing their point entirely. This isn't about "refusing to remove posts". This is about people growing out of their bigotry. And yes everybody is bigoted. Everybody. Even you have bigoted thoughts that you don't realize yet, subconsciously.

It's literally about challenging thoughts, learning and moving the hell on. Nothing is set in stone. You have to do this every second of your life too btw. Challenging your thoughts. You don't just snap out of your programmed believes when you become more educated on things.

How would you feel if every second of your life was on blast? I'm sure you've thought or said problematic shit before....You just didn't post it lmao. Now that doesn't automatically make you a bad person at all if you do have certain thoughts....you just gotta catch yourself and move on. Try not to do it again.

I've been on this blog since 2015.....I'm now nearly 22. you really think I got the time to go through my hundreds of thousands of posts to look for something that might offend people? Please. I'd rather take my chances getting outed for some shit I don't even remember. I'm not gonna make a new blog just to appease people who don't matter. This is my blog.

And you know what? Couple years ago I actually tried to look through my archive for shit I may deem problematic now...but you know what? Fuck it. I have too many posts...and a life. Unlike the people who are bored and dig up shit maliciously.

Look i get what you're sayin and you're right no one has to forgive anything.....but going out of your way to find old posts other people may have made, just to out them.... isn't in good faith. "Minorites are allowed to come to you in bad faith"..... We are not special unicorns who get special treatment or anything lmao we need to treat each other with respect and we don't get to do fucked up shit.

I know you're what, 16? And I promise I don't mean that in a condescending way. I just mean you just are now getting a grasp on your politics and want to be the best ally you can be. And many people( even myself at some point at like 14) go through this phase of black and white morality after they, for lack of better words, become "woke".....but I'm sorry. This just isn't it. People learn. People change. As time goes on and you get more experience with your politics..... you will learn the world around you just isn't so black and white.

Trying to stir shit is not a good way to get your point across in any manner. It's just drama causing and not genuine.

But I must say...if we just cancel everybody because they may have said something wrong once, they apologize and actually learn from the experience..haven't done it again.....what's the point of them apologizing?? If an apology doesn't matter and cancel culture is gonna tie that to them forever for them to get harrased over lmao? What's the point of digging shit up??? If an apology doesn't matter? Absolutely! It’s very underrated by the fandom smh and it has??? All the best tropes??? Rich girl/girl from humble beginnings. The graceful one/the bruiser. Tol/Smoll. Fire/Ice. If you wanna reach you could even say red/blue aesthetics in terms of personality, not really color scheme. THE NICE ONE/THE MEAN ONE. IT’S ALL THERE GUYS.

I think it’s an underrated and underappreciated relationship both in fanon and in canon (though I won’t get into that because that could be a whole other post.) But, one thing I can say, is that there is a chance for a more in depth relationship between the two if things go a certain way. Because honestly, they’re the ones in closest proximity to each other. And if my predictions are correct (which they probably won’t be, but it would be fun to think of) then they will be the first two to meet up.

Weiss is probably going to escape with Klein’s and Ironwood’s (and maybe Winter’s) help. So we’ll go off of that.

Let’s just assume that Yang is still in Patch when all of a sudden there’s a knock on the door and in comes Weiss. They haven’t seen each other in months, haven’t heard from each other in months, and here she is, having gathered data from Ironwood on where he sent the robot arm, right at Yang’s doorstep.

Yang probably wouldn’t react for a second, and Weiss would be albeit awkward about it, probably apologizing for “intruding” and “dropping by without warning” you know, because she still somewhat wants to portray that she is still the friend Yang knew back at Beacon, so Yang could feel familiarity and comfort. I think Yang would immediately break the silence by bringing Weiss in for a hug, which she would immediately return.

Tai would probably just be in the background a little shocked because ??? the last person he was expecting to see was the recently dethroned Schnee Heiress/his daughters’ friend and teammate on his doorstep but he’d immediately welcome Weiss in.

I think the Xiao Long family could do wonders for Weiss, and show her what a family should be like. Even if it’s broken, there’s care, there’s familiarity, there’s love. Even without a romantic undertone that I low key hope Yang and Weiss to take on eventually, it could give Weiss something she’s always wanted - love.

Now some headcanons going along with this scenario:

Weiss would serve as a sparring partner for Yang. Yang is very good in hand to hand combat as we were shown in 4x9, however, brawlers are not the only opponents she will be facing. In fact brawlers are probably the least represented opponents she will be facing. Lots of the characters we’ve seen in this show fight with swords and guns and staffs and something that they can use with speed, agility, and at a long distance too. Having Weiss, basically a polar opposite in personality and fighting style, there to help spar with Yang would do a lot of good, for the both of them.

Weiss has been, thus far, training to summon. She hasn’t had any sparring partners either. So, again, it works in both of their favors.

Yang being absolutely enamored by Weiss’ summoning and probably wanna fight it.

YANG TEACHING WEISS HOW TO COOK PLEASE it would be the cutest thing??? I headcanon Yang as being a very good cook and baker, and we all remember Weiss’ failure at watching a cake bake for 5 minutes in chibi. So it would be really cute seeing Yang teach Weiss and Weiss failing miserably multiple times.

Ten bucks says they’d start throwing the ingredients at each other and start a food fight which would end with them covered in flour but laughing on the floor, almost crying in a way, because they needed that, and they missed that.

Doesn’t mean they got out of cleaning up though.

Weiss offering to help with house work and yard work but she’s never done any of that before so it all ends up being a hilarious disaster and Yang just laughs at how badly she failed but regardless helps her up.

Weiss actually being really good at caring for plants. I’d imagine she would water the flowers without even telling them and Yang probably watches from her window, or the door, and just smiles. It’s peaceful and serene watching her work. She doesn’t notice the heat in her cheeks.

The two girls having nights to themselves while Tai is out teaching or doing work and it’s just a time for them to really talk. They talk about a lot of things, about the good and the bad, actually communicating. Sometimes it’s strained and sometimes it’s natural. I think Weiss could also help bring up Blake too, and we could hear from Yang’s perspective where this has left her. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Yang still held animosity for Blake. But deep down Weiss would know Yang doesn’t truly mean it, and they’d just talk about everything you know? I’m a slut for good communication content.

Those said nights where they have the house to themselves Yang would introduce Weiss to pillow and blanket forts. Weiss thinks it’s childish at first but honestly she loves it once the finished product is there. 

The two of them fall asleep on each other a lot, often with Weiss laying her head on Yang’s shoulder and Yang laying her head on Weiss. At this point Tai would come home to a living room turned into a fort with the tv still on, but the two girls asleep in each other’s arms and would grab an extra blanket and drape it over them. Maybe even kissing both of their heads before heading off to bed himself.

Weiss coddling and baby talking Zwei when no one’s around and Yang walks in with this knowing smirk and you can’t tell the difference between a tomato and Weiss at this point she’s blushing so hard.

I’m not sure if Patch happens to have a small town or village around, but assuming they do, I’d like to think they’d go into town and try and get a sense of normality back. Maybe go for cafe dates and even window shopping.

Yang telling Weiss about Summer would absolutely wreck my ass.

IT STARTS TO RAIN AND THE TWO OF THEM START DANCING IN THE RAIN.

Weiss wanting to do something nice for Yang and Tai because of how kind they’ve been to her after escaping Schnee manor that she’d put all those skills she honed while at their home to use and make them a nice meal to show how much she appreciates what they’ve done for her.

Yang having a particularly bad day and Weiss leaving little sticky notes for her to read with compliments and little motivational one-liners. Some have really bad puns.

Yang teaching Weiss how to make better puns and jokes and Tai coming in and absolutely annihilating them because he is the joke and pun master.

Oh my god just. Just please imagine Yang teaching Weiss how to play video games. Just. Imagine.

I think Weiss could help Yang also control her anger and semblance too. Not a lot but giving her tips may help. 

I think at some point, the two girls would probably venture off on their own to start looking for Ruby since they probably where her destination is, and then from there find out where Blake could have gone. They want to make up with their team. They are the two steps forward and now they’ll take those leaps to bring their team back together.

With this in mind, and because embarrassing parents are embarrassing, Tai would probably make some dumb joke about how he’s “leaving Yang in your hands now, Weiss” and to “treat her right” and Weiss is honestly kind of embarrassed because she wasn’t that obvious right and Yang is kinda just like “DAD STFU”

Tai would actually genuinely be thankful for Weiss, because Yang needed a friend, someone close to her, someone her age, and here comes her teammate who was forcibly taken away. He’d express genuine gratitude for her coming for Yang.
