2024 has been a difficult one for many of us, for lots of reasons. for me, while writing, this place and the lovely souls I have the fortune of knowing have been bright spots in the dark, it's been a bit harder lately to smile as much as I used to. this week, I had to make a decision to ask for some help, which I have no shame in, and because of that I am battling some pretty rough side effects (all expected) that are making writing really, really hard.

while I have the next chapter of WNSA, I'm not sure if it's my brain being unkind or if I know I can do better, but I dislike it. and so, while I had originally said the w/c 16th, I'm going to work on it a bit more after I've got my head on right. because I love them so much, and I want to write them the best I can.

I'm still going to be here and the tootathon will be going on (so show me your fave thingssss). but I just need to take a week or two to adjust and prioritise myself in terms of trying to write.
