I was gonna write an essay months and months ago on why I personally didn’t feel like I needed chapter 2 of 8:11 because I feel there’s enough in the story to hint at what happened prior to the game and where the game is going and that a completely open ended story was kind of cool and that it would be fine if dubuk felt he no longer needed to continue it for whatever reason. I remember watching the ep in season 1 where Mark & Amber tag along with William to visit the University and I like Clutched my pearls so hard at this scene and turned to my bf like “THIS HAS TO BE WHY GAYVINCIBLE EXISTS…”

I didn’t Think this was gonna be a long form post but fuck I have a lot to say hold on

This scene in the Gayvincible-verse (spare me I literally don’t know what else to call it) to Me would read more so as William being not only shocked that Mark’s Invincible-but also getting a small crush on him for saving his life. I personally would like to imagine Rick is still there and he and William are still a thing, but maybe just not as emotionally invested? I can’t see William as a guy who swaps his interests so easily, so maybe he just has extra room to be attracted to Mark bc he’s not super serious about Rick.who knows anyone else cab see it differently it’s not canon I just like making my own personal canon

Then due to this new Romantic infatuation with Mark (specifically his super badass scary super hero side) William acts pretty much the same as he does in the normal episode but Tenfold-def tries to slip really bad flirting into there and Mark just. Isn’t impressed 😭in Maskless Mark’s universe specifically, I see his relationship with Amber crumbling partially due to him questioning his Own sexuality (his name is GayVincible. he likes boys only💔) and that of course frustrates him even more so in this scene bc he doesn’t know Why he’s staying with Amber if she seems to get so angry over things Mark *has* to do, and if he’s not even that attracted to her..!!!

That’s why I feel like in this universe Mark would agree to follow William to find Rick immediately instead of looking for Amber at the party. (Yes he flies William in costume to where Rick went missing and despite William’s worries about Rick he’s Extremely giddy he gets to be carried in Mark’s arms.) But to sync things up and make William getting restrained make sense, maybe Sinclair knocks them both out at first and restrains them both (to which Mark easily breaks out of the restraints bc duh). The three super humans would go to restrain him again, which causes the fight that happens in canon to break out.

A thing I like to think about the other Mark variants is that they’re all just a little bit more Viltrumite than og Mark is, who is closer to a 50/50 human-Viltrumite. Maskless Mark specifically probably isn’t too much more Viltrumite, but he’s closer to a 55/45 range.

That being said, Maskless Mark is Stronger than og Mark, and doesn’t get his shit rocked as hard by the super humans in this universe😭

When he knocks Rick’s faceplate off, William still attempts to reason with Rick, and admits to the “doing the dirty by the lake last summer” thing, but my freak ass likes to think that maybe….Thats what helps motivate Mark to kill this guy. I’ve seen a lot of ppl lean towards a more “yandere” trope for Maskless Mark, and while I wouldn’t say this is necessarily *That*, I do like the idea of him being extremely jealous…

All that being said, Rick *doesn’t* come back to consciousness anyways, so Mark *has* to kill him. And he does so by snapping his neck in front of William mercilessly 😭

Which leads to this very intimidating and yet. Intimate? Screenshot between them,,the aftermath of the college trip becomes that Mark comforts William the whole night, and can’t get himself to leave his side, even after Amber returns back to the dorm and he finds her asleep in Rick’s bed. Amber and Mark break things off at this point, and they are pretty much the same as they are in canon about it (not hostile or terrible to each other after the break up, just very very sad. Maybe a little less sad since it dragged on for less time here) And Eventually Mark gets with William. Probably post Nolan betrayal, as William is Terrified for his safety and Mark…is single and crazy in love with him.

However their relationship ends or William potentially dies is still a mystery to me-but that’s up for other Wark fans to decide I guess >;D

I thought of a silly where emo Sanji and Zoro becomes frenemies as kids and Sanji sorta replaces Kuina being Zoro's rival that he can't beat. But they eventually get separated and still meet again in the future when Sanji joins the straw hats, but now their skills are equal This idea grew like a tumor in my head and made me think of a whole AU where Sanji is born emo n everything, but still meet and joins the straw hats regardless, he is cold blooded and kinda emotionless, perhaps even a little insane, but not necessarily evil, and he was taught his whole life that what he was was a good thing, but after joining the straw hats he is punished instead of praised for the first time for being mean and cold blooded and doesn't understand exacly why at first, but with time he gains humanity and emotions and starts becoming the original Sanji, pretty much like an inverse and wholesome version of the doomed yaoi angst where Sanji goes insane and Zoro has to kill him, man that single little thought of Sanji and Zoro as kids just fucking around snapped on me so hard i thought of all of this in less than 30 minutes. And i really like the view of Sanji all sad and awkward after doing something bad that he thought he was supposed to do but then finding out that was not right and looking like a dog after it's owner yelled at it for chewing their slippers

I'll also be using all my previous emo Sanji headcanons on this one where hes just kinda cringe and as his ideals colapses he just become some kinda jekyll & hyde typa shit. Also his hair changes colors very quickly rather than just slowly and realistically growng a different color, and if hes feeling bipolar and swap personality alot throughout the day it makes stripes on his hair

Some other hcs i have about him is that he doesn't smoke and do use his hands in battle, actually he loves fighting with blades, he also thinks cooking is mid but still does it and very well just so they don't go out of food and a good nutrition. On a normal Sanji AU he would still smoke occasionally and evict using his hands in combat out of instinct (idk he forgot hands can be useful in battle too) idk what anyone says emo Sanji is basically my son at this point. Thinking of wether in this AU, Sanji's sibblings will be normal or modified because him being the only one who was successfully modified also sounds cool, to be honest i don't care a LOT about the lore here, i am more mesmerized about the dynamic itself so anyone can interpret the lore however they'd like. Lastly forgive me for my unusually long rambling, i am so normal about Sanji having an evil and emo alter ego

Okay, so I already wrote a bunch of stuff about how that scene, although it is really sweet, is also kind of a Bad Sign for Simon - how he refuses to learn the Obvious Lesson from the Winterworld adventure (that being the Ice King again is probably a really really bad idea). But I want to talk about it also a little more about what it means for Fionna’s character as well. 

Because while sitting around and wallowing in self-loathing is probably bad for Fionna, especially after being told that she shouldn't be allowed to exist, and Simon is right to try and get her out of her funk. It's also still worthwhile for Fionna to have some introspection about the Consequences of Her Actions. Because she and Cake really did not consider them at all at first. They have a sense of morality and an instinct towards heroism, but they also tend to kinda forget the fantastical worlds they visit don’t exist entirely for their fantasy and have kind of a Protagonist-Centered-Morality fallacy. 

Most obviously you can see it in the market in Ooo. How Cake, in her excitement, damaged and hurt and even killed

A bunch of innocent marketgoers without even noticing. And then Fionna immediately jumped to Cake’s defense against these ‘weirdos’, who were actually just normal kinda-righteously-angry Oooian citizens.

It’s actually very similar to the whole Winterworld situation. Fionna’s assumption that she’s automatically the hero and protagonist of the story and black-and-white view of the situation and her tendency to kick ass first and ask questions later meant that she just recklessly injured a lot of innocent people.

(It might’ve been worse actually cause at least in Winterworld she was at least manipulated by an evil Wizard)

Fionna and Cake clearly have a great potential for heroism, but they do need to be a bit more considerate of the situation and people around them. And it does make sense considering that from their perspective - they’ve been living a very ordinary life up until now (and Cake was literally an animal. A very clever animal, but still not bound by the same standards of morality as the talking animals in Ooo). Action and adventure and fantasy stuff has been purely the realm of daydream and video games for them - and Fionna literally speaks about it in these terms.

(also, Fionna's Main Character Syndrome was undoubtedly validated when God literally told her that she was created to be the main character of her universe)

So yeah, it takes them some time to really process how to be heroes - they need to grapple with questions that Finn and Jake already kinda dealt with seventeen years ago. And actually a lot of those; how to resolve a situation without necessarily using violence, when does a 'villain' actually deserve sympathy and kindness, the importance of the larger context of any given conflict... their confrontations with Ice King all played a big part in that. It was never just him, but he was still a very major part.

And for Fionna and Cake right now, learning these lessons require some amount of personal introspection. So while it was a sweet attempt at comforting, I dunno if Simon’s little ‘the only problem with that universe is that this Alternative Me was terrible because he didn’t even acknowledge or remember Betty as the love of our life and the light of my entire universe�� thing is actually Good. 

I’m not quite sure Simon is the best person to teach Fionna and Cake heroism 101, because he is so focused on the Crown Quest as the thing that brings back Meaning to his life, and because his fatherly instincts just kinda go “Sad Young Person???? MUST GIVE COMFORT!” and also on account of the kidnapping.

I’m sure Fionna is going to become the heroine she dreams about eventually, it’s just going to be a bumpy ride. The best we can hope for is that they accept Simon’s comfort, that she doesn't start believing that she is nothing but an Error for the entire universe like the Scarab claims, but don’t necessarily listen to all of Simon's his words either.

The Stranger Things ending being "bittersweet" isn't necessarily a bad thing

We already know how attached the Duffers are to their characters. They've refused to kill any of the core cast off, despite calls from fans and even the cast itself to kill off more of the characters. They have even said Hawkins is not like "Game of Thrones." They have a clear attachment to their characters and it's been stated repeatedly that they intend to give fulfilling arcs for their characters, wanting them all to have narratively satisfying conclusions (as Noah has stated when talking about how he's happy with Will's ending).

This doesn't mean, of course, that the ending will be entirely happy.

Now I'm going to delve a bit into spoilers/leaks we got so please look away now if you don't want to see those.

We know from leaks that the core younger cast all survives to graduation, as well as them having scenes at a bar with much of the older cast. I believe one of the only cast members that wasn't at these scenes was Millie (El).

Now I don't think El is going to die. I think that would send a bad message killing off your core female character who's never been able to live a 'normal' life (not to mention all the trauma and suffering she's endured). And I don't think the Duffers have it in them to give El a tragic ending.

I do believe El's ending will be "happy" for her by allowing her to complete her narrative arc of attaining full independence, allowing her to discover who she is and wants to be. I do wish El would stick around with her found family, but I do feel that she may be separated from them in the end. Not necessarily permanently though, and I think it'll be on her own terms. It could be that El believes she has to go revitalize/clean up the Upside Down after Vecna's downfall. Or maybe El is still in our world, but simply living outside of Hawkins, establishing who she is separately from her friends and discover more of the wider world.

Also I want to make clear I'm not saying this is the ending I want for El. This is mere speculation on my part. But the repetition of Finn talking about El is like "E.T." and the hints in the show of El being like a "different species" or "not from this planet" makes me wonder if she will end up going off in the end, forging her own path.

We also know from Millie that she's not entirely happy about El's ending. She's even said she's bounced around in her opinions of Season 5 as it was being filmed, and has been very quiet on the topic of Mike and El's relationship since Season 5 has been filmed.

I am admittedly a bit worried about El's ending, but I'm hoping the execution of it will be done well.

Meanwhile Noah has expressed a great happiness for Will's ending and Finn has overall said he's happy while there's some "sadness" too. And I think it would be reasonable for Mike's character to be sad for El to leave, even if they're friends. He still cares a great deal for her. If you go by the bisexual Mike interpretation then she would've been his "first love" and even if you interpret Mike as gay, she would still be someone he cares for very deeply. And I think it would be nice to see more of a platonic male/female dynamic on-screen and how his care for her doesn't just vanish because they don't feel romantic towards each other. Like just think of Robin and Steve here, wouldn't either one of them be devastated at losing the other?

But I don't think it's El possibly leaving that could be the only reason the cast keeps talking about the ending being "bittersweet."

In the epilogue I believe we'll see the characters come together again, before all of them start to separate for their new journeys ahead. They will likely split up to go to college in different areas of the country. I think that the endgame couples will stick together (e.g. Mike and Will go to a college together in an East Coast city, Lucas and Max go to college together in California, Dustin goes off with Suzie or by himself to a separate university). Perhaps some friends will stick together (e.g. Steve and Robin) but I believe a lot of the group will be fragmented and split apart in the end, simply due to life circumstances.

This is a typical ending we see at the end of fantasy/adventure movies. After the characters defeat the "Big Bad" they often go their separate ways, stronger for the friendships they've forged, happier and richer for the experiences they've had together.

And I think this may be the "bittersweet" aspects the cast talks about. Because while there is a happiness to it, it stings a bit knowing this is the end of the show and the characters will never be together in the same way they once were.

I mean it's possible at the ending, maybe even Joyce and Hopper and the rest will permanently decide to leave Hawkins. Who knows? I could see all of them permanently leaving Hawkins as being incredibly bittersweet.

There's so many other reasons the cast could be referencing the ending as "bittersweet." But I don't think it'll be about the deaths of any major characters (though I'm sure side characters will die, and I also think Murray may be one of the more "major" members of the cast to die). I think it's very likely someone in the Wheeler family will die (Karen or Ted or Holly) which could also lead to Finn saying there's "sadness" in his character's arc. We know Mike is quite close to Karen and we'll see more of his relationship with his sister Holly, so if he loses either of them that will feel incredibly tragic.

But ultimately the Duffers care too much about their main characters to kill them off, and I believe they will give them satisfying conclusions, even if the main cast of characters aren't all together in the end.

Aston Martin wasn't particularly good at the moment, and it showed in his performance. After he had finally completed three not-so-good laps, I heard his voice over the announcement on my headphones. "It smells burnt." Fernando's voice sounded worried, and not a second later, flames shot up from the rear tires of the car. Panic rose within me, and if he hadn't gotten out of the car immediately afterward, I probably would have burst into tears. A few minutes later he was driven back to the pits by a safety car. My father, with a bright red face, ran straight to him and yelled at him. He turned around. At first, his gaze was still harsh, but when he turned and looked at me, it softened. "Hey princessa, what's wrong? Are you trying to tell me how bad I am, like your father?" I blushed again, that lovely, silly nickname. "You know I'm not like that, Fernando. I don't yell, never." He smiled at my blush and moved closer to me to brush a strand of hair out of my face."Your a good girl right a good princessa. Which would never be mean. never would scream" He was weird; he was never like that to me. Sure, he was nice, but he was never like that. "And still a single princess?" Which made him smile. "Very well, Princessa, I'll pick you up today at 8. I need an apology for your father's shouting." His words were strange. I hadn't expected something like that But I knew arguing wouldn't help. But why was he acting so strange?

Authors Note: Okay so these are really old, theyu were apart of my second ever request and was the third thing I ever wrote, but I ended up giving up on it because I over complicated it too much, so while I intend on starting over with that request I didn't want to throw away my work, so I kinda refurbished them and am now posting then. Extra note: Theres likely to be a part two for this. S/O knew 2D waaaaay before he was 2D- back when he was just Stuart

Back before he had hit his head and his hair fell out, and grew back blue

And despite all the years all the together, all the ups and down S/O's and 2D's friendship made it to adult hood

The two met in elementary/primary school when Stu was in time out because he had gotten himself in trouble for who knows what, and S/O had also gotten in trouble for [insert your own reason], which was so stupid but anyways- the two had to sit in during recess and despite the fact S/O and Stuart weren't supposed to talk to each other, the two still did anyway

And from that day on the two were inseparable

He'd often invite you to the carnival his dad worked at

The pair was together with each other through thick and thin

And even when Stu had to move (ya know cuz he broke his piano teachers hand still can't get over that) it was just lucky that S/O had to move around a similar time

Stu was quite the dunce as a kid he still is

So S/O had to help him a lot especially when the migraines started, as he would often misplace his pill or just forget to take them

Also Stuart supposedly started to smoke when he was pretty young (we were shown this in the image of kid Stu), around that time(middle school/secondary school) i assume he became a bit more of a rebellious kid, not like he'd full on harass people but just like throw paper balls/spit balls and that kind crap (and again this is based on the very few cannon images we have of the characters as kids/pre-teens, as we have the personality of Stu when he was a young child but not much on when he was a teen- there may be more then what I've seen but it's a bit harder to find all the older stuff about gorillaz, so like if you know any less well known shit about gorillaz i'd love to hear it)

Despite all that he wasn't tyrant to his parents or anything in fact he avoided them seeing the bad shit he did- because he really didn't want his parents to be disappointed in him despite that fact he may have not acted like it, and he was too busy listening to music to be sour about what his parents thought

So S/O could have fed into this bad behavior, by participating in it too

Which kinda would've made him really happy- but would also make him do more bad things so you two could hang out more, and so Stu could impress S/O

Especially, if you so wish, Stuart had a crush on S/O

If that was the case 2D would be very forth coming about his feelings, I mean he doesn't say it out loud, but he's the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleave, ya know?

And if S/O told him to cut the crap with his behavior, he would kinda be surprised and shocked

He would get really sad because S/O were mad at him and Stu has a great deal of respect for S/O

Also because Stuart was a bit of a people pleaser and really wants people to like him

He'll not participate in as much rebellious behavior around S/O, but when not around them Stu will continue to act poorly

Either way s/o helped Stuart a lot with school, even into high school/secondary school you helped him with home work- and even if s/o wasn't the brighter either they could study together

And if they were of the smarter variety, he always asked for there help studying or occasionally asking to copy off them

Also Stuart never really developed a crush on s/o necessarily in the way a normal person would

I mean he could of had one but he would be completely oblivious, and most people around him mistake the crush for just admiration for s/o because they've been friends for so long

Logistically it would take- if S/O is female- his friends making fun of him or his parents pointing it out for him to realize he did have a crush, he would mostlikly figure this out way earlyer compared to if S/O was Non-binary/male, because due to the place he was born and the time he's from, having feelings like that just wasn't something that crossed his mind or something he thought he could have, it probably took a lot of his friends jokingly calling him gay for S/O for 2D to clock, 'hmm, maybe I am gay for my friend'

And even after that he couldn't see himself in a relationship with s/o, why? Because he liked them to much is that even a thing

And because he had zero idea of what a relationship actually is or what it takes to be in one, he just pretends to know to look cool

Infact he was pretty nice to the significant others of s/o... unless the significant other of s/o was an asshole

Which kinda seems inevitable as the two became late teens to young adults as we all go through our fair share of bad relationships

If he did see S/O with a crappy S/O or a S/O who he didn't think was good enoough for S/O he wouldn't really butt in or be direct with how he felt and he wouldn't really out right say you you should break up with them but he would drop little hints

It's true he is human, and will express bais, and so he may if given the opportunity, shit talk.

But if the significant other of S/O did something abusive as shit in front of him- oh dear lord- this boi may not be that strong and may be dumb as rocks but he's about to throw hands... till he realizes he's about to get his ass kicked, so he grabs s/o and runs as fast as his lanky legs can carry him

Despite being chill with both S/O's friends and partners, I wouldn't say he gets jealous, more like need if you give to much attention to someone else in front of him or neglect your relationships in the slightest, he's exta clinging because he's known s/o for a long time

And if there was jealousy, it would be completely platonic jealously because he just hates being ignored

Also S/O's likely one of the few friends Stu had as an adult before Gorillaz

He kinda drifted a lot form his his friends from high/secondary school, and while they talked occasionally, Stu had very few vary close friends, so that contributed to him clinging to S/O

S/O was also usually very suportive of 2D's relationships

But Stu's relationships were few and far between, and often ended up with him getting dumped

He definitely did not go to college or at least attempt either- Stu told his parents he would try but he didn't

He got the job at Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium first then got an apartment, you two discussed getting an apartment together because it would be cheaper to split rent because S/O were paying for college, which he was really supportive of

And so you two started to room, he worked during the day while S/O took classes during the day and worked a night shit at [insert job]

Stu at the time was dating some chick called Paula, she seemed nice

Then comes the day S/O thought we be like any other, S/O was sitting in class when they received a call from Stuarts mom, which was odd, they answered the phone and to their dismay they are informed Stu was in the hospital, after getting hit by a car and is now in a coma

You best believe S/O drove their ass straight to the hospital, it turns out some dick- what was his name- Martin, Marshall?, Murder?- well, whatever his name was S/O was about to murder him for hospitalizing Stu

And then the court date came and- they made his service is taking care of a comatose Stuart?

Hell knows no fury like s/o's when that jackass was supposed to take care of Stu

But S/O and Murdoc weirdly had never closed paths

s/o constantly checked up on stu, it was obvious this dude was not qualified to take care of Stuart

But eventually exams eventually rolled around and S/O had to spend less time with him

And the night after class finished for that day, you were lying in bed trying to sleep, you got a message telling you Stu had gotten into another accident because of that shit stain, again!

Annoyingly enough, S/O couldn't get to the hospital now, as it was closed for visiting(at least not for those who aren't family) and S/O had classes the next couple of days so they would have to wait to the weekend to visit

When the time finally rolled around for S/O to see Stu, when they got there they squeezed the life outa Stu when they saw him

Wait- what? D-did he just tell you he joined the band of the FUCK HEAD who hit him in the first place? Huh- who? Who's 2D? Wait why are you asking s/o to call you that?

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON??

As an asexual Good Omens fan

There's something I've noticed in this fandom that makes me really uncomfortable, and that is the way that Crowley and Aziraphale's possible asexuality is constantly being connected to and justified by them being not human.

I just honestly really hate that, because implying that asexuality is something that somehow "logically" follows from characters being nonhuman is ... not great. Like, I hate having to be the one to point this out, but asexuality is, in fact, very much a human attribute.

And unfortunately, most of the time when I come across this take, it doesn't feel like someone seeing themselves in the characters and relating to their experience, but rather an othering, this kind of otherwordly pure non-sexualness, where people put these characters above such trivial things like sexuality.

I am not asexual because I am somehow confounded by this oh so complicated human concept of sexuality, or because I don't ever think or care about sexuality at all (a lot of thinking was unfortunately involved actually before I finally came to a conclusion about my identity) it is just a fact of who I am, as a human being, it’s a part of my human experience.

And let's be honest, attributing asexuality to nonhuman characters is not the hot new take a lot of people seem to think it is — this trope has been around for ages. And it hasn't done a great deal to normalize asexuality. In fact I'd argue it's perpetuated an othering of ace people, but you take what you can get, really. (This is not to say that it is in any way wrong to identify with these kinds of characters, I definitely do, too! It's just sad that the topic of discussion is always about how "human" someone can be considered when they don't feel sexual or romantic attraction)

To be honest, I don't actually see A&C being asexual as canon — as a lot of people seemingly do — just because the author kind of suggested it in a tweet where he basically conflates "asexual" and "sexless" (for the record, this is not a dig at Neil, I just think the implications were kind of unfortunate, even if it might not have been intentional, which makes it all the more frustrating that a lot of fans just ran with it). And yeah, going around calling people aphobic for seeing the Ineffable Husbands as gay rep or any other identity, when they’re oh so obviously canonically ace, is honestly kind of insane.

I get that it might feel nice and tempting to be able to "claim" these characters and this relationship and being able to tell other fans off whose headcanons on their sexuality differ from your own because it is hard to come by any kind of representation when you're ace and there's finally a creator who's not only not contemptuous towards but even supportive of fans reading his characters as queer. And if you feel represented by A&C as it is then all the more power to you. But the thing is, it doesn't matter what kind of justifications there are or what canon might or might not say (bc when has that ever mattered in fandom spaces) or what the creator says, you cannot convert people to your opinion about a character, and you're going to have a bad time if you spend your time in fandom trying to do that.

And really, I am just wondering why we necessarily even need an explanation or justification for them possibly being asexual. Why does it have to be that all angels and demons are asexual by virtue of being nonhuman, and so A&C have to be too? why can't that just be an aspect of them that is completely unrelated to them not being human? Could these characters maybe not simply identify as asexual, not because they're nonhuman, but in spite of it? (btw, in the same vein it is equally stupid to argue that A&C can't be ace because they have "gone native", which is also an argument I've come across)

Honestly, I'm not even asking anyone to fundamentally change how they see these characters here — if you think they must be asexual solely because they're angels and have no concept of human sexuality, then whatever, I can't stop you and I don’t want to police anyone's headcanons bc as I said that's stupid and a waste of time. What I am asking you is that you maybe reflect a little bit on why exactly it is that humanity and sexuality are somehow so intrinsically linked in your mind to the point where you automatically use it as a way to distinguish between human and nonhuman characters.

Anyways.

Tldr: please stop equating asexuality with non-humanness thank you and good day.

Imagine arranged marriage scenario, but with Gojo/Tyki/Muzan. With Gojo, higher ups/his clan helds something above his head. With Tyki, Earl tired of his hard resistance and took the matter in his own hands. With Muzan, it's being another unfortunate wife for his cover.

They hate your guts, belittle you, make fun of you, even hurt you, so you sad because of them and hate them too. But with time later, they are slowly fall for you, you are not as bad as they thought of you. And knowing that you understandly don't greatlt favour them, those man WILL give you their love and make you fall for him.

Kibutsuji Muzan is the worst option for any of this. If you were married before he took a shallow interest in you your husband will be simply gone, brutally murdered by him. In public he may keep up the appearance of a normal husband but in private he is cold, brutal and harsh. You really only find peace when he is gone because only then are you free from condescending words, painful touches and the feeling of sharp nails digging into your flesh as he doesn’t tolerate disobedience in the least.

The thing is that if Muzan wants something, he will obtain it by force. He’s not going to court you and change for you. You should be grateful that he not only chose you as his cover but that he also has an actual interest to keep you alive. After all he is the perfect being whilst you are but a mere human.

Tyki Mikk is probably going to be the best option if we’re talking about how they act before they fall in love with you. Not only is he actually a gentleman and polite to women but he also has respect and love for his family which means that he still tries to follow the wishes of the Earl. He’s not very affectionate and there is a cold air around him but he won’t cheat nor would he treat you purposely bad. He’s just not spending a lot of time with you and ignores more personal requests of you, especially if you try to get to know him better.

He’s going to be the least intense one as well after he’s fallen in love with you. Tyki is charming, handsome and manipulative but in a more subtle way. He doesn’t want you to be forced to love him as he would much rather orchestrate everything so that at the very least you are under the impression that you fell for him naturally.

Gojo Satoru isn’t necessarily very fond of his clan nor is he close with any one of them. He knows that at the end of the day he is just a valuable asset of theirs so whilst he won’t openly complain when they arrange a marriage for him he won’t value the wedding vows either. He secretly can’t help but let his spite out on you though he’s subtle about it. He’s constantly comparing you to other people and always makes sure how they are so much better than you and rarely spends time with you. If he decides to take you with him he usually quickly surrounds himself with other people whilst ignoring you. Nanami scolds him for his hurtful behavior, tries to cheer you up as good as he can when Satoru is somewhere else again.

He should have expected the whiplash of his actions and at one point in time he really didn’t care but things are different now. Gojo is desperate and clingy, showers you in presents and constantly wants to do everything you used to want to do with him. Only that now the roles are reversed and you’re the one not in the mood to hang out with him. That’s fine though. If he’ll isolate you until only him and you exist in the world he’s sure that you’ll have a change of heart. You have to…

Me personally, I’m a very big fan of how Horikoshi handled his themes around forgiveness. I love that he really hammers in that forgiveness is a choice that someone can or cannot make, and that neither of those decisions are necessarily “wrong” or “harmful”, that they’re just that. Choices.

And I realized just how much I enjoyed how he handles this because of these leaks. Like him choosing to never forgive Shigaraki for what he’s done, yet wanting to end the suffering as much as possible I feel really speaks to an experience I could never put into words. It’s so viscerally human to be angry, happy, sad; it’s human to forgive, it’s human to not. It’s human to empathize with someone you fundamentally feel shouldn’t be empathized for, and yet it is the single most prominent structure of ancient human societies. We live to empathize, it’s why we have a dog in our house, or we help heal a stranger back to health; and I don’t necessarily think is what “makes us human” bc I feel that excludes people who don’t (because they do exist and nothing is wrong with them for not doing so), but I think it does speak to a very common feeling. It’s normal to want revenge, or to be angry, or to not forgive, but it’s also perfectly normal to want to end the suffering from its source.

That’s also a prominent feature of the Todoroki family, and it’s also what made me so angry about the interpretations surrounding it. There’s nothing wrong with Fuyumi or Natsuo to respond differently to their shared father’s abuse, they’re normal and expected ways to handle one’s inner turmoil. There is healing in forgiving someone, that’s a perfectly truthful idea. But what’s also a way to heal is to simply not let someone matter in your life, you can simultaneously be angry for what they’ve done…and be perfectly fulfilled/healed.

Horikoshi isn’t telling you to forgive bad people, he’s telling you that there’s a reason behind every bad action, that empathy and shared humanity is the single most integral part to a healthy society.

And I love this EVEN MORE because Midoriya Izuku: Rising isn’t even about Izuku, it’s about how everyone else has brought him here, now. That we are one people, one society—Izuku may be the driving horse but he stands as a symbol of our shared humanity in this moment.

I wish I could find the officials rn but I’m gonna have to interpret this given what it is.

Ochako’s choice to “not wipe your slate clean” almost feels less like a “I can’t forgive you” and more like a “society won’t forgive you” statement.

Where Izuku’s or Natsuo’s choice to not forgive someone who has hurt them was a personal decision, this was more of a decision to empathize with Himiko, maybe even forgive her. I can’t help but notice that this was much more of a confession/declaration of affection for someone who has done bad things, than it was about forgiveness and mistakes.

It almost feels more like the bkdk apology if I’m honest. Both of which never have a “I won’t ever forgive you for this” statement, more like they avoid it in its entirety. Same with Rei and Endeavors conversations.

Because it is the victims choice to forgive or not forgive someone. They have as much a right to do so as anyone else.

I guess that’s why I always hated the whole “Izuku shouldn’t forgive Katsuki” take, it’s a very literal commentary on the very thing Horikoshi has written is wrong. It’s wrong to try to tell someone how they should or shouldn’t have reacted to something, you are taking away their integrity. To a certain extent you are infantilizing their ability to make choices for themself.

So it’s for this reason that my love for this series shoots to the sky at this “I won’t forgive you” moment. It’s like Izukus guilt has been lifted, that he has allowed himself to be angry or bitter at someone for wronging him or someone he loves. The mask has fallen, this is it; Izuku and Tenko, and he is being honest of his feelings.

That’s what I love most—the honesty, the anger, the relief, the love, and that these are his choices. No one can take that away from him. Not you, not I, not us.

Feeling rainy

      “Honey, you look cloudy today. No, rainy."

     "I confirm, he is very rainy at the moment."

     "Matthew. Leave us."

     "Right away, boss. But I'm sick of being wet all the time when I fly in the Dreaming, thank you very much."

It had taken a little time, but during their relationship, Y/N had acquired several certainties about Morpheus, especially about his mood.

The master of nightmares was not very good at expressing his feelings. Mainly because he didn't always know them himself. Partly because he was stupid and not very good with people.

His emotions were like a storm inside him. And therefore, a storm inside the Dreaming, especially when he was nervous, angry or sad.

Happy or neutral sentiments were preferable, with the sky remaining blue, the sun lighting up the whole realm, and the wind seeming to sing melodies.

 Sometimes it was a little too hot, when he was in love and excited, but that was no big deal. Also, it never lasted very long.

Like the weather, Morpheus' mood was changing very quickly, and very easily.

And even though he was doing his best to hide his feelings behind a straight face, the Dreaming never left any doubt that something was bothering him.

     "Is it because of last night ?" Y/N asked calmly.

     "I don't wish to talk about it, love."

     "Not even to please me ? I don't like it when you rain, especially because of me."

     "... It's not because of you. I probably overreacted."

     "Kind of like always, darling, but that doesn't mean your feelings aren't valid. Do you want a hug ?"

     "... Maybe."

The tall, terrible prince of the stories certainly didn't like being seeing as weak, but when Dream was in Y/N's arms, he looked like a cat desperately trying not to purr with pleasure, totally at her mercy.

It wasn't a problem since they were alone, but dreams and nightmares guessed what was going on, as the clouds disappeared and a rainbow formed over their heads.

     "She has to cuddle him all the time."

     "Hush."

     "Merv is right. I may be his more or less emotional raven, but he clearly needs her as an emotional human."

     "Get out of my library."

All of this could have gone quite well, since Y/N had managed to decode the functioning of the Dreaming, and therefore of Dream, but sometimes he was visibly lost and upset by her emotions, not knowing how to help her, and beginning to feel them with her.

Which was not a good thing, for him, nor for his kingdom.

Y/N therefore asked for advice around her, knowing that it was useless to ask Morpheus directly. Morpheus never really answered questions. That being said, his subjects weren't necessarily better for it.

Lucienne, loyal intelligent Lucienne advised her to speak to the Lord, as communication was important, although she had to be careful how she wanted to express what she wanted to say, as the Lord could misunderstand things.

Merv and Matthew thought that they should say nothing and just cover him with kisses and compliments so that he would always be happy. Because everyone wanted him to be happy, and everyone loved rainbows.

The Corinthian had a different opinion.

     "You have to do exactly like him." he declared with three huge smiles.

     "What do you mean, like him ?"

     "You want to help him by doing anything so that he doesn't get overwhelmed by emotions ? So don't show any emotion yourself. Keep them inside, act neutral, use a monotonous voice, express your love with ridiculously complicated little sentences, and it will be perfect."

Normally, it would have been strongly discouraged to listen to a nightmare. But despite their bickering, the Corinthian was arguably one of the creations that knew Morpheus best, so Y/N thought it wasn't a bad idea.

After all, Dream was a bit like a sponge. Absorbing all the dreamers' hopes, fears, desires, emotions, and though he was a separate being who felt distinctly, he couldn't completely cut himself off from the rest of the world.

So it seemed logical that he was sometimes troubled by others, and therefore by Y/N, with whom he spent the most time.

It didn't cost much to imitate him. It wasn't necessarily easy, but she could do it, for him, so it wouldn't be rainy or stormy too often.

So she trained in front of a mirror, doing her best to remain impassive as she thought about a joke, her deceased grandfather, an adorable kitten, her boss whom she wanted to strangle, and lots of things that never left her indifferent.

Part of her had thought Morpheus wouldn't notice. Another hoped he would see it, that he would be happy, and that she could smile to herself.

While they were watching her favorite movie together, a funny scene played out and she didn't react. Then another, and another, until Y/N felt that Dream's attention was no longer on the screen, but on her.

     "My love, you seem distant."

     "Not at all. I'm enjoying a pleasant evening, with you." she said with a neutral tone.

     "... You didn't laugh. Would you like to see another movie ?"

     "No, I like this movie. You weren't laughing either, do you want to change ?"

     "I never laugh."

    "Because you're too melancholic to find aything funny ?"

     "... No. My laughter... I was informed that my laughter could be frightening."

Y/N then turned to him, and at that moment, she almost smiled, finding the revelation ridiculous and adorable,  wanting to hear that laughter that her lover was so ashamed of, out of curiosity, but above all to reassure him.

Except that for that, she would have to show emotions, and make him feel emotions, and the goal was to remain as neutral as possible, so Y/N forced herself to remain neutral, looking at him straight in the eyes so that he knew that she was serious, while looking for the right wording.

"I'm sure your laugh is sweet." was the best thing that came to her, patting Morpheus' hand, before watching the movie again.

There were many other moments like this, at the New Inn, at the park, in the Dreaming, and Y/N really thought that everything was fine, that she was doing a good job. The weather seemed calm, with a few distant clouds, but no storms in sight.

Still, there was something in Morpheus' eyes when he looked at her. Curiosity mixed with fear. She didn't dare tell him about it, thinking it was nothing, and he didn't tell her either.

Until Matthew came to visit her as she was getting ready to go to sleep.

     "I don't know if I should ask you to go to bed quickly, or advise you to stay awake."

     "Why ? What's going on ? Morpheus is in trouble ?!"

     "Uh... That depends. Is everything okay between you two ?"

     "Yes, perfectly fine. Why ?" she asked, suddenly worried.

     "I don't know. It's foggy at the moment. We've had a few rains, a few tornadoes, but Lucienne managed to calm it down. Except that... Hmm... I don't know if I should say it."

     "Matthew."

     "He thinks you don't love him anymore." sighed the raven, lowering his head.

The news hit Y/N straight to the heart. For a moment, she wondered how Dream could have come to such a conclusion. Then she remembered how Dream was, his difficulties in understanding people, emotions, and even if he himself didn't often show what he felt, he clearly needed others to show him.

For a month, Y/N thought to make him happy. For a month, Morpheus thought she wanted to leave him.

     "... This is a terrible misunderstanding."

     "Glad to hear that. Can you tell him, please ?"

Falling asleep when stressed might take a while, but Y/N needed to see Morpheus quickly, so she closed her eyes thinking hard about him, and she arrived on the balcony of his palace.

It was raining.

Obviously, Matthew had come to see her before Lucienne went to speak to her master.

Dream stood in the rain, motionless, watching his realm. He didn't move when she came close to him, resting her head on his shoulder.

     "I love you, you know that ?" she asked shyly.

     "I hope so."

     "In wanting to please you, I made a mistake. Your mood changes so easily, you can be so fragile, so sensitive."

     "I'm not fragile." he muttered, continuing to stare into the distance.

     "You are, but that's neither an insult nor the question. I thought... The Corinthian told me that if I don't show my emotions, I won't upset you with them and that you I would be happy. I wanted to help, really. Since you know that I love you, I imagined that it wouldn't change anything. It would be inside, like for you. Sorry."

Finally, Dream turned to her, looking surprised and solemn. He stared at her for a long time, before taking a deep breath.

     "I see. So you made several mistakes, indeed."

     "Dream..."

     "You listened to the Corinthian, a nightmare."

     "I know."

     "You thought it would be good for you to keep your emotions inside, like me. Knowing that my emotions are never really inside, but entirely outside, in the Dreaming, while you should keep your storms in your little heart."

     "I get it, I..."

     "And you believed that I would like you to deprive me of your smile. Of your laughter. That you hide your sadness from me, which I could erase with kisses. Your anger, which I could appease with poems. Your love, which I carry in my chest. All this to make me happy ?"

So Morpheus did something that Y/N hadn't imagined.

He laughed. 

And like he said, his laugh was a little scary. Inhuman. A sound that mortals weren't supposed to hear, that no one was supposed to hear. But he was laughing, and he was smiling, and he came over to kiss her, and Y/N thought she liked that sound a lot.

     "My love, your emotions, all your emotions, are my joy. Do not hide them from me."

     "Okay. But promise me you'll tell me when it's rainy, and why."

     "Very well."

     "And I was right, your laugh is very sweet."

     "Yeah, I guess love makes you blind and deaf."

     "Matthew. Leave us."

     "Yes, boss. Glad it's not raining anymore."

Indeed, the sun had returned as he spoke, a bright sun, and even if the weather could never be perfect, like their relationship, Y/N would do everything to make Morpheus as bright as possible.

I don’t think he can handle a lot of jealousy. 

I see a lot of headcanons about him being this possessive, jealous, overprotective guy, but that’s… really not how I see it at all?

The only reason he threatens Frisk in game (from my interpretation at least) is because they’re a very real threat, but he’s never shown to be hostile in any other situation. Everyone likes him because he’s so easygoing and charming, I can’t imagine him having any sort of jealousy issues. Like, genuinely not at all. I don’t think he ever gets jealous himself tbh unless he’s having a really really crappy day and you’re giving all your attention to other people, but even then it’s not in the “grrr you’re mine” type of way it’s in the mopey kinda sad type of way. I think he’d get super freaked if his partner had those types of issues. 

Like, a little bit is fine. It’s endearing when you cling to him and when you pout and try to get his attention. It can even be a little charming if you get a little huffy with the person making you jealous. He just draws the line at real anger. If you get legitimately upset about him talking to someone else then he really will not appreciate that. 

Willing to communicate with you about it if your jealousy revolves around only one specific person, can slightly compromise by putting a little distance between himself and that person (unless it’s someone he’s super super close to since before he even met you), but he’s not gonna accept unreasonable jealousy and anything he deems as controlling

Surprisingly little, but he won’t leave his partner over jealousy issues even if they’re bad — he just won’t accept it, and train it out of you LMAO

Listen it’s never your partners responsibility to fix your issues. but. Papyrus will fix your issues I’m crying

He tuts at you and scolds you when he notices you sending other people dirty looks for getting too close to him, but he isn’t necessarily cruel about it. He assures you that it is, of course, perfectly normal to be afraid to lose something as perfect and great as him !! But you don’t need to be because he loves you. And also, frankly, you need to get a grasp on yourself !! It is not very great to get angry about these kinds of things. Now, learning to control yourself, that is truly… beyond great !!!!!! 

Works on it with you, without ever entertaining your jealousy problems. Type of guy to legitimately change you for the better forever I'm so serious

Will, however, with a very heavy heart break up if there’s no end in sight at all. If you don’t even try to improve, and your jealousy creates actual anger in you, then you are unfortunately a danger to his friends and family and he can’t keep you around. But it probably won’t ever come to that.

Can handle surprisingly much, actually

You’d think a stern guy like him, who always insists you must retain a large level of independence from him even in a relationship, would hate it. And while, yeah, he doesn’t like it… he also really doesn’t hate it either. 

He’ll sternly tell you off if he thinks it goes too far (for example if you snark at the person you deem as haven gotten too close; he can defend his own honour perfectly well on his own, thank you very much), he’ll put up with more than you’d think.

Mostly rolls his eyes at your behaviour, calling it juvenile. He doesn’t mind it too much though. You would know if it really bothered him. He is not the type to let behaviour he doesn’t like just slip without a serious talking to with real consequences. Certainly not above demanding more space should he find that the both of you need the distance. You know he’s fine with it as long as it goes out on no one but him and in non violent/hostile manners. Sometimes he even grins, finding it a little bit charming.

Unless you have, like… SERIOUS serious jealousy issues, it won’t be a dealbreaker for him.

This bad boy can fit so many unhealthy coping mechanisms

He even finds it nice. He actively enjoys it. He WANTS you to be jealous. It feels validating to him that you want him so much you’re willing to fight on his behalf just to keep him. 

Only times he’ll mind it is if it goes out over the people he genuinely cares about. Will get super uncomfortable if you try to control what friends he sees, but will do as you ask because he’s afraid to lose you. This goes past jealousy to controlling and possessive, I know, but I’m trying to paint the picture of how bad it is. 😭 His self esteem is actually so awful, he’ll take whatever he’s given. If you’re not careful, he does become codependent on you. It’s no surprise then that he’s willing to accept unacceptable behaviour. 

Mal, however, will notice if it gets to a point and steps in. If your jealousy issues cause you to become controlling, the relationship will end. 

But, if we’re talking about how much he SHOULD handle, not how much he’ll allow himself to handle, I think it’s for the best his partner isn’t very jealous at all. Sometimes a little jealousy is obviously fine, that’s normal and human, but I don’t think it’s good for him to have a partner who will get too clingy or mopey, and definitely not mad at him, if they feel he isn’t with them all the time. Like I mentioned before, he has codependency issues; I think a partner who gets jealous might unintentionally feed into it. His partner needs to be able to encourage him to hang out with other people and handle him having friends if things are to work out well.

I'm already seeing people getting mad at Eddie for how he acted in this ep. Or just people not liking the ep because Buck and Eddie were fighting. I really wish some of you would realize that for one thing people often lash out in anger when they're feeling sad because anger is a much easier emotion to access than allowing yourself to be vulnerable and cry or admit why you're upset. Also a person saying something in anger doesn't necessarily make them a bad person it's more important how they deal with the aftermath.

I think some of you need to get more comfortable with characters you love feeling normal human emotions and sometimes having conflict. We want these stories to be told well and somewhat realistically, well that can't happen if they're treated like they're perfect. Human beings fuck up and get angry and say things we don't mean sometimes.

What we were seeing in this episode was Buck and Eddie both not wanting to face how much they mean to each other and how much it's going to hurt when Eddie leaves. It came out all messy because everything going on with them is messy right now well they sort through it all.

Also Eddie saying he has no ties to California isn't true it's what he's trying to convince himself is true so that it's easier for him to go be with Chris which he believes is the only choice he should be making. Eddie has a long history of doing what he thinks he's supposed to be doing. Of not following his heart and not really asking himself what it is he really wants. I think that question is going to be answered when he's in Texas. I think he's going to miss Buck a lot and have to face up to why that is. Why he misses everyone from the 118 but with Buck it's different and so much more.

The other thing I really need some of you understand is that whether you like Buck or Eddie having conflict or not that fact that the show is giving them storylines like this speaks volumes about the likelihood of Buddie canon. If you look at how 911 writes for it's characters most of the dramatic storylines for pairings go to the couples. Some of them have gone to the platonic pairings like Hen and Chim (like when Madney got engaged) but if there is conflict it's usually between the romantic pairings. Buddie hasn't really had any big drama between them since s3. They had a tiny bit in s5 when Eddie left the station but that wasn't like this and Buck was dating Taylor at the time. This is the show giving more attention than ever before to Buddie as a pairing. This is really the show's official announcement of saying these characters are on collision course and it only ends in one spot with them getting together.

you're on the couch wrapped in the thickest blanket you could find when you hear the front door open and close.

usually, you'd greet your boyfriend at the door, kiss him, ask him about his day, discuss dinner plans and all the usual adult things an adult couple does.

but today you can't make yourself move. that usual spark of joy that lightening strikes its way through your spine when you know he's home isn't there. the excitement to run to the front door to kiss him stupid like you would normally do isn't there. what's there, though, is the soul numbing feeling of absolutely nothingness. you don't feel sad, you don't feel happy, you quite literally feel numb- nothing. so you don't move.

if aaron notices, he doesn't say anything. instead, he makes his way over to you and leans over the back of the couch to kiss your blanket covered head. he doesn't say anything, and you surely don't say anything. you hear him shuffle by, assuming he's going to the bedroom to change out of his suit like he normally does.

a few minutes later, he reappears in black sweatpants and a basic plain white t-shirt. he sits at the end of the couch and lifts you feet onto his lap and gives them a little squeeze.

you've been together long enough for him to know that this is just something that happens. nothing necessarily triggers it, and he knows he didn't do anything wrong so he's not quick to jump on you and ask questions and plead to know how to "fix it". you're beyond thankful for that. you discussed how bad your depression can get when you first got together a few years ago and he completely understood. of course he did, after finding out everything this man had been through, of course he knows a thing or two about being depressed.

"have you eaten today?" you hear him ask, the blanket covering your entire head making it sound like he's underwater.

you want to answer him. you want him to know you aren't ignoring him and that it's not his fault, even if he knows and understands, the anxiety of it all makes it all crush your insides a little bit more.

one day he's going to get sick of this and leave.

after a beat, you unwrap the top half of yourself from your cocoon and stare up at the ceiling and then eventually look over at him. he flicks you a comforting smile as he presses his thumbs into the arches of your socked feet.

you shake your head 'no' at him and he nods his head. "are you hungry?"

you shrug, barely, but he sees it.

"okay," he says softly leaning up, resting his elbows on his thighs. "if i make us something, will you try to eat?"

you stare at him. he waits a second before adding, "you don't have to eat if you don't want to, but i'm going to make you a plate anyway, okay?"

you blink at him, and nod slightly. he gives your foot one last squeeze and gets up to head to the kitchen.

you turn your eyes back to the tv that's been playing in the living room this entire time. you aren't watching it, you truly have no idea what's even on, your eyes not focusing enough to process or care what it is. you barely even register that there's sound coming from it.

you're not sure how long it's been, but hotch comes back with two plates in his hands and sets them down on the coffee table. he sits down on the floor and scoots your plate over towards you. there's not much food on it. a couple pieces of steamed broccoli, a scoop of mashed potatoes and a pathetic excuse of a piece of meat. you stare at it, willing your brain to just let you move and want to eat it.

"it's not much, but it was the quickest thing i could throw together in the air fryer," he tells you. "well, the broccoli was steamed in the microwave...i cheated a little." he shoots you a cheesy grin that you barely catch out of the corner of your eye. "and the mashed potatoes are instant. don't tell anyone though."

it's funny how moments like this make you fall more in love with him. he knows you're hurting, would stop the world and do whatever it took to get the pain to stop, but he acts normal around you, keeping light conversation with you and not trying to get you to "cheer up" like most people would try to do.

you're still staring at the plate, an internal screaming match taking place inside the entirety of your brain when you realize he's still talking. you have no idea what he just said, but he's still got that goofy grin on his face as he shoves a piece of broccoli in his mouth.

something inside of you loosens, the vice grip lets go of your soul for a moment and you huff a small laugh at him.

"are you laughing at me or the fact that jj accidentally broke reid's nose?"

okay, wait a second. what?

"what?" you ask, your voice a little hoarse but full of complete amusement.

he laughs, a full toothy laugh that always makes your heart swell. "yeah," he finishes chewing and swallowing his food and turns to look more at you. "reid was trying to show her some new magic trick he'd just learned and, i'm not entirely sure how it happened, but it startled jj enough to where she accidentally elbowed his face. right in the nose."

you blink incredulously at him before you shift yourself up on your elbow. "is he okay?"

hotch nods. "yeah, he's fine. after the initial shock of it, they all started laughing."

the conversation tapers off and your eyes go back to the plate thats slowly getting cold. hotch is nearly done with his. he pats the floor next to him, "join me?"

and so you do. you really have to make your limbs work and it's such an energy draining task that just makes you angry because why in the world do you have to keep fighting with yourself to literally just...live. but, you shake that thought out of your head and melt yourself off the couch and land on the floor next to him; it makes him laugh again and that seems to help dissipate even more of the darkness leaching to your spine.

"want me to feed you?" you know he's joking, he wiggles his eyebrows at you as he says it, making airplane noises with his own fork as he wiggles it around the air to your mouth.

you actually laugh at that and the smile he gives you is so beautiful you nearly, actually cry.

"i love you." is all you say. you rest your head against his shoulder and slide your plate over in front of you and take a bite of the mashed potatoes. the first bite always kick starts your brain, making you realize just how hungry you are so you quickly scoop up another forkful and nearly shovel it in your mouth.

"i love you too, honey." he tells you and you turn a little to kiss his sleeved shoulder.

"it's because of the steamed broccoli, isn't it? that always gets the girls all wild for me."

the rest of whatever evil lurking inside you breaks and you snort laugh at him, throwing your head back onto the couch cushion.
