One of the most annoying things you see from tes fans is seeing each race as a unified collective in ways that the games don’t even do. They act like the ways some members of a race act in some places represents all of them everywhere. The biggest and most frustrating version of this is when talking about the way Dunmer are treated in Windhelm, people bring up the in-universe racism in Morrowind. Like, that doesn’t justify the way they're treated in Windhelm at all. You really think Ulfric is doing this for justice for the Khajiit and Argonians (who he won't let in the city)? Even if he was, do you think it's right to enact that "justice" on random refugees and their descendants? We’re talking about different groups of Dunmer. They aren’t a monolith. IN MORROWIND they aren’t a monolith. The head of the anti-slavery organization in Morrowind (the game) is a Dunmer. Every province and race had different cultures and subcultures with folks with different opinions that people like this like to ignore.

These people act like it's clever to bring this up when in reality it reflects an even shallower interpretation of the worldbuilding imo.

(and that's not even touching on how comments like these reflect the language used in real life discussions of refugee asylum and immigration)

Looking for images for our headliners has reminded me how immensely frustrating wiki crawling is. Apparently, the render I've been using for Donatello this whole time was actually a screenshot from the movie, cropped and edited like it was a normal fullbody render, of which I cannot find the specific image on any of the various ROTTMNT wikis. I have to hand it to wind breaker. if I had to watch kind-hearted shounen anime protag no.302729217 absolutely suck at fighting but inevitably work his way to the top, I probably would have just stopped watching 5 mins into the first episode and gone to bed. but instead this anime gave us the most undersocialized, cringe boy I have ever seen in a modern anime. my rescue cat has better social skills and she literally grew up in a forest.

I can tell that Feysand stans only criticize the pregnancy plot because they know antis will, not because they fundamentally think Rhys did anything wrong. Because they'll start off by saying "I don't condone what Rhys did," and then the rest of the post is...them condoning what Rhys did. You should consider all facts and then come to a conclusion, not make a prevailing point, but not actually have any reasons why it's wrong. I don't care that Rhys is traumatized, and neither is Feyre, because she literally tells Rhys multiple times to suck it up or leave her out of it.

I think is wrong because I've considered all of the information and facts and concluded that the justification given was not adequate enough. I've already considered that (1) Rhys is traumatized and (2) his intention is to save Feyre, but as established by Feyre in MaF, she values her autonomy over safety. She literally tells Rhys in MaF, angrily, how she does not ever want him to consider her emotions for her.

See: "I don't want to hear this, I don't want to hear you explain how you assumed that you best, that I couldn't handle it." Also see: "I don't want to hear you tell me that you decided I was to be kept in the dark while your friends knew, while you all decided what was right for me"

That is Feyre. That is her direct narration. That is what she had deemed as violating. She literally talks about how that betrayal breaks her heart. Yet, no one of those Feyre stan ever brings this up in relation to the pregnancy plot. Not one of them explains how the Inner Circle's actions were intrinsically wrong. How the acceptance of the mating bond subtextually promises that Rhys and his Inner Circle will never do that again. And then over and over it hands. Also notice the 'your 'friends' language ....says a lot to me. You can't just say well, I don't consider this canon so I won't consider it -- this is consistent behavior.
