And I feel like these 3, 14, 38, 62 SCREAM aelin and Rowan (mainly aelin to Rowan) lol

This one is late, I know. But here it is! Another fic for my Rowaelin Holiday Celebration. Set in my teacher au, which includes Camp Shenanigans. Please enjoy. Oh and i just went with 1 out of the 4. It’s the card.

Aelin sighed in frustration. She was great at giving presents, fantastic even. She always knew what to get everyone once Yulemas rolled around. But this year she had lucked out, and it was really bruising her ego.

She prided herself on the annual Secret Santa at work, every year the recipient of her gift gushed about how perfect it was. But this year she had no idea what to get, and that was because she had managed to pull stick-up-his-ass Rowan Whitethorn from the moth eaten Santa hat Lysandra had held in front of her. Her best friend and most likely future cousin-in-law had been incharge of the whole thing but had refused to let Aelin swapped when she asked. That’s the name of the game she’d said and sauntered off.

So now Aelin had dragged Aedion shopping with her, just so she could get some sort of help. Aedion had agreed because he’d managed to pull out a dud himself.

“What do you get Manon Blackbeak?” Aedion mused and he browsed a table of holiday inspired knickknacks.

“Bottle the blood of her enemies,” Aelin replied. “I think she’d drink it straight.”

“She probably would,” Aedion agreed and he left the knickknack table.

Manon worked in the science faculty and was honestly one of the most terrifying people Aelin had ever met. So naturally, after a tense getting to know you period, they'd mellowed out into being respectful collegues and eventually some semblance of friends.

“We’ve got a betting pool going on how soon into the end of year party her and Dorian end up in some closet making out,” Aelin dropped casually. “Again.”

“Does Dorian know?” Aedion asked as they walked side by side to go browse elsewhere.

“Dorian is in on it,” Aelin said. “He thinks a half hour tops.”

“Manon would never let him have it that easy,” Aedion added.

“That’s what I told him,” Aelin said. “And then I also told Manon and she said he’s dreaming.”

Aedion scoffed. “Did you just rig it for yourself?”

“Of course not, I never mentioned the bet to her at all,” Aelin replied innocently.

“Why don’t I believe you?”

Aelin tried not to smile. “Fine I did, I promised to split the money with her.”

“I knew it.”

The cousins had reached a holiday display, decorations, cards, and holiday specific foods all set out.

“Hey,” Aedion said with a grin. “You could give him this.” He held up a card.

Aelin looked over and saw what the card had on it.

Will you be my ho ho ho?

“What, and end up in the middle of a sexual harassment case? No thank you.” Then Aelin added, “Why would I even get that for him anyway? I hate him.”

“Of course you do,” Aedion said like he knew all the secrets of the universe.

“What?” Aelin snapped.

Aedion gave her a grin that made her understand exactly why people tended to get infuriated with her. “Nothing.”

Aelin picked up a candy cane and pointed it at him threateningly. “Whatever you’re thinking, stop it.”

The grin stayed, Aelin wanted to throw something at him.

“Okay, let’s focus here. You’re his friend of sorts. What should I get?” Aelin said, wanting to just get out of the bustling shops by now.

“I dunno, he’s still pretty private even though it’s been six months,” Aedion said.

Aelin sighed heavily. “I’m going to have to do it. I’m going to have to do the mug and pen.” Even just saying it left a bad taste in her mouth. “I don’t know what else to do and you’re absolutely no help.”

She didn’t want to resort to the cliche teacher gift but really she had no other choice. She had to get something. Dragging her feet Aelin walked to the kitchen section to look for the least offensive mug she could find, then she would make her way to stationary and find a nice pen. Why did she have to get Rowan Whitethorn? Her reputation would be ruined.

The last day of term rolled around and that evening they had the staff get together in a function room of a local restaurant. They were all standing around snacking, drinking, laughing, holiday songs playing in the background. Aelin held court in the corner with most of her faculty, honestly the loudest group in the room. Although Dorian was off trailing Manon like a lost puppy. The two of them were yet to disappear, Manon holding out to the appointed time. Aelin caught her eye across the room, Manon gave her a wink, Aelin tipped her glass in return.

“Ho! Ho! Ho!”

Fenrys appeared in a very cheap looking Santa suit, foregoing the beard, not wanting to hide his beautiful face apparently. He walked over to the tree and started calling out names, obnoxiously good in his role. Aelin sighed, she was still a little cut up about her more than average present. Maybe she could keep it from getting out, keep her reputation intact. It wasn't likely though, everyone loved the intrigue and gossip of who got who.

“Rowan! Seems that even if you’re a grumpy bastard you still get presents,” Fenrys’ voice boomed in the space.

Rowan made his way to the front, even managing half a good natured smile at the joke as he got his wrapped mug and pen. Aelin had to turn away; she was so annoyed. A few other names were called out then Aelin heard her own. She put her drink down and made her way to Fenrys. He was giving her a winning smile.

“I just want you to know your secret Santa had absolutely no help from anyone,” Fenrys said as he passed her a small package.

Aelin took it back to her little corner, shaking it before she started unwrapping it. What she found inside were her favourite chocolates, her all time favourite chocolates. Chocolate hazelnut truffles. These were one’s you didn't just buy from the grocery store. These were only sold at a little store in the heart of the city.

“Okay, which one of you got me this?” Aelin asked her friends.

No one came forward, adamantly denying it was them, it looked like Aelin would be joining in on the present gossip tonight. It took her a while, but curiously it had been Lorcan to give her the answer she wanted.

“It was Rowan,” he snapped as Aelin had been hounding Connall for information for quite a while. “Now, go away. I’m sick of hearing your voice.”

“Happy Yulemas,” Aelin said far too sweetly. She was too stunned to give him any more of a threat, replaying what Fenrys had said in her head. Rowan hadn’t had any help so how did he know exactly what chocolates to get her? She spotted him over by the drinks table, steeling herself she made her way over to him. Not only had he managed to get her the perfect present, but she had given him such an abysmally awful one she hoped he never found out it was her.

Aelin cleared her throat as she poured herself a drink from the punch bowl. “Thanks,” she said lamely.

“It didn’t take you long,” Rowan said.

“Lorcan gave you up,” Aelin told him and she saw Rowan roll his eyes. “I have to know, how did you find out they were my favourites.”

Rowan gave her a wry smile. “Santa told me,” he said cryptically. “And I don’t mean Fenrys.”

Aelin just looked at him, confused, gears in her head working. Before she could figure it out or ask more questions Rowan was walking away.

“Oh,” Rowan said, turning back to her. “And thanks for the mug.”

Hiii how are you ? I fell down the stairs today and cried for a minute straight #hormones. Dw I have a high pain tolerance but I just started sobbing lol. It happens. LONG post ahead, I kinda went off hehe.

Anyways let’s get started!! Yes quinton gets to be upfront because he would probably feel so uncomfortable(no offence) with all the sexual tension going on there if dyl or jamie were in the front hehe. But yes they would be bitchy about who gets to sit upfront “ no Jamie it’s mine turn to sit with Brigid” “ no it’s my turn dylan you just sat with her” so brigid would get fed up and banishes them to the back hehe. Lmao Brigid can we listen to Katy perry now? The silence!! And then no can we listen to Lady Gaga?. Quinton trying not to lose it in the front seat. If I had to chose tho I would chose lady gaga:) wbu?

Get ready to be beat! Yes Ryan is absolutely not sitting upfront w me! We would be crazy and I wanna win so. Quinner is sitting up front w me but he decided to be .... and I’m banish him to the back. Braden is the most chill so he’s sitting upfront and giving me directions!! Haha dyl yelling at you to drive faster, but no I will beat both hehe;). Kesh who’s sitting up front w you? Lmao yes, your hair would be so tangled!! They would be panicking a bit because they’re like omg she’s gonna be so mad.... honestly Ryan would just take the photo and then post it but then Dylan would repost it and then Jamie and then me lol. Honestly I kinda love when people just take videos of being in the car w like the scenery showing, but this would include us laughing and listening to music! I hope they makes sense. Hehe Ryan or Dylan would probably take photos of Braden, cozzy and devon sleeping and would post it. Back to the hair: hehe yes I can see you giving them a death glare when you realize and your getting mad and would hide. I’m just imagining this in my head, like me pulling over and you running out of the car and quinton and devon fixing your hair lol. Somebody would be filming this no doubt.

Music wise, yes I love blasting music and people looking but it’s kinda a flex when they see who we are with.... I like rap too! What song do u like Brigid?. Country will be played and 2000’s which is fun! I’m good with anything !. Kesh I love hype up songs as well and bass heavy songs because they sound good on speakers hehe. I’ve been into Rihanna for the past week and I was working out to her music- where have you been, rude boy, bitch better have my money lol, pon de replay hit different but also S&M for some sexiness. Lmao sorry I’m just listing Rihanna songs that I love atm. What are your fav songs right now? Awww dancing on the side of the road is so soft, but everybody needs a dance break! Cozzy, Devon and Braden are some how still passed out, I admire that. Late night drives🥺 are we spicing this up 😏.

Hehe you and devon are swamped w emails and more and you’re like kirby can you please go w them we need somebody to watch them. Als yes quinton go take those hot photos . I admire Dylan’s sleep schedule, like good job on catching up on sleep. Kirbys just trying to sweet talk you and kiss you so that you wouldn’t be mad. All in all, kesh is just shocked like how is that possible? Lmao Brigid, Ryan and I w the shopping cart just stocking up on popcorn, chips m&ms, I love that. Jamie and Dylan are racing each other to see who can grab the most cereal and made sure that they are getting the correct ones for Brigid. Honestly all the boys are just confused about how grocery shopping works hehe. The crackhead energy. Kirby is panicking. We literally bought out all the snacks. Beaver tails are delish and I know where you can get them so 😃. I want to stuff Quinner’s mouth w beaver tails cuz that’s cute:) yes healthy food is a must, like fruits, veggies, rice cakes hehe. But remember that we are going to workout on this vacay hehe. After the grocery store we would go into the mall or something and the boys would just be wanting to buy video games 😂 and ps5’s. Also kesh I love how some of the boys are just trying on clothes. Why do I get a feeling that one of the boys would just be filming all of this?

The chirping will happen nonstop, I’m sorry it’s just to much inspo. Aww yes they are blushing real hard, cuz they like you soooo much. But Brigid is enjoying touching them so no prob.

The boat is a must and it is happening!! Hehe yes the tubing would be chaotic, everybody is just trying to get each other to fall in 😂. Ryan thinks that he’s getting away w pushing me in but SIKE you are coming with me. So then we’re just fighting in the water. Quinner would be like where did they go?. Hehe brigid gets so wrapped up in laughing at us that Braden pushes her in haha. Yes we all look super hot in our bikinis, and the boys are speechless! Like dyl and Jamie are just like wow, she looks so amazing! And Kirby is so in love w you, he’s like I’m the luckiest man ever. I’m still gonna make sure that I wear a non tie bikini so that it doesn’t untie, like one time I was in the boat and my friend pulled on the string and the entire thing untied and I just jumped in the water to retie. That is not happening again lol. Quinner would be mad hehe. Idk I’m seeing Brigid in a black bikini or maybe a dark blue one? It would match your eyes?. Kesh in a red one or yellow and me maybe in a green one or just black lol. Hehe yes kesh and Kirby are just doing cute couple stuff and keeping an eye out but we are to chaotic to maintain .

Girls day is a must! I wanna hang out w you so badly. Some cute clothing will be bought! Ooo yes us modelling and them being in awe. Oo kesh a different modelling show w the boys 😏. The boys are getting handsy esp Dylan and Jamie hehe. And they are super protective so no other guy at the club gets any ideas. After tho it’s biker shorts, sweat pants and hoodies type of vacay lol .

ok yessss our music game is on point tbh. ok so for rap, the artists i’m really into rn are juice wrld (rip i actually loved him sm), kid laroi (who learned from juice, so he sounds a lot like him), trippie redd, mgk, and nf. also iann dior, but he’s not so much rap as r&b. honestly any of their songs slap. and then ofc country and early 2000′s. and any music with good bass, but i think a lot of the artists i said have that. ooooh yes getting out to have a dance party on the side of the road. hehe it could be really crazy. or alternatively, it could be when you’re out on a late night drive and there’s a slow song on the radio and you guys just get out and slow dance to the song together no this is not at all inspired by the song slow dance in a parking lot anyways yes late night drives are so cute. but then of course they can get spicy 😏 in case you couldn’t tell i’m always down for it to get spicy lmao

haha yes quinton and dylan c. honestly have their priorities straight. and devon and kesh are swamped with director duties, so that leaves kirby in charge. so then ofc when we get home kirbs tries to sweet talk kesh, but she’s just not having it. she’s just like how? anywaysssss at the store we have the most duo of ryan and lexi, plus now i’m added into the mix, and it’s just a mess. like we buy a shit ton of popcorn, pretzels, chips, candy, etc. and we literally bought half the store’s supply of everything lmao. and then dyl and jamie are just in the cereal aisle trying to grab as much cereal as they can. whichever one of them gets we chocolate mini wheats i will love forever. and then kirby���s getting healthy food bc yk he’s trying to be responsible. so then kesh has to explain that his whole job was to make sure everyone else was getting healthy food, not just get it himself lmao. but honestly none of the guys actually know what they’re doing lmao. and then we obviously have to get beaver tails to so lexi and quinner can have a moment, but idk where you get those lol. but yes we will be working out a ton on this vacay, so it’s ok that we have sm junk food lol. and then after we’re done with food, the guys decide to wander the mall and then they just buy a ton of video game and then they’re trying on clothes lol. and yes obvi they’re videoing the whole thing bc they’re secretly middle school girls who want to have a blog lmao

haha yep i can definitely see you and quinner being wild drunks together (it’s more like when the alcohol is wearing off that you guys get really clingy) so obvi you guys start doing body shots. and ofc it turns into a jamie/dyl competition bc what doesn’t? and then me and lexi are just dancing sexy together, yk like two drunk girls do, and then dyl or jamie tries to come over and cut in and at first you won’t let them but then you finally give in and go dance with quinner instead. and then yeah, no offense kesh and kirby, but y’all are the parents here. like making sure we don’t do anything too too dumb lmao. and also being a wingman for some of the other guys. but you guys def dance together at least a little bit too. and obvi we all look hot

yessss i feel like you and dyl could be super chaotic friends too. so the two of you are just chilling together and then you have to distract him lol, but then after that you have a different chaotic friend for when ryan’s not available lmao

yes yes yes, girl’s day would be so fun. and then we get a ton of cute new clothes so obvi we have to model them. and they’re all just in awe, like those are our girls. but then we also do private modeling shows 😏 and we all know how that ends. and then when we’re in our clubbing clothes obvi they are getting super protective over us bc we look so hot and we’re their girls, so no other guys can get ideas. but then once they’re drunk they’re handsy as hell lol. but then the rest of the vacay ends ups spent in hoodies, sweats, and athletic shorts lol. and obvi some of the guys’ clothes

Memories that I will never forget.

The very first time na hinatid moko sa bahay. I came home, and told everyone na hinatid ako ng crush ko. Hindi ako along the way pauwi mo, pero hinatid moko.

Sobrang tagal na bago ako sumakay ng motor ulit, tapos sobrang bilis mo mag patakbo eh ang hawak ko sa buntot ng motor. Then you told me na ihug ka. And I did. I was smiling the whole time, but I don't know if you saw it sa side mirrors mo.

Nung nag bibiro lang naman ako na mag sorry ka sa personal, tapos pinuntahan moko ng bahay. Nag usap tayo sa waiting shed. Lol. Tapos tinanong mo ako ng "ba't ka nahhurt" :) That day was the first photo I had with you that I didn't have to crop everyone else out of the photo para mag tayo lang yung tira.

Every conversation at night ends open kasi nakakatulog ka, and the next day you would text me "Sorry nakatulog ako kagabi" then the conversation continues.

Remember that time I wrote a long ass essay here in tumblr of why you shouldn't choose me and that was okay? We met later that day. I was letting you go. You cried. Then I realized I must really mean something to you.

When you asked me to make your project (wedding invitation), and I asked you who to put. You said tayong dalawa na very casual. Sobrang kinilig ako, syempre crush na crush kita eh.

Tapos nasa cart natin are diapers, milk, all baby stuff, tapos tinitingnan tayo ng mga tao cause they think may baby na tayo. I lowkey like it tho. Everytime, I would pretend that we are living together, and that was normal.

My whole stay in Macau with you and your family. Our petty fights, just sitting next to each other chatting kasi we were fighting, or sitting next to each other scrolling on social media. Yung monthsary date natin sa mcdonalds. Yung lakad lakad natin sa san malo na nabubusog tayo dahil sa free taste— hanggang sa nag bitbit na tayo ng plastic to put everything. We even found a spot to go to hide and put everything inside. Everything I hold close to my heart

I didn't mind doing you reflection papers, essays, editing your thesis or anything that involves microsoft word, kasi I was good at it and I love you.

All the times I was there sa mga events mo, not even events kahit trainings, andyan yung girlfriend. But you didn't mind having me there. You insisted having me there, so you're classmates got used to it, and they liked me kahit di ko naman sila kausap.

For all the times na may errands ka, I was always there and I loved it so much. Tapos pag may questions, ako yung magtatanong.

Yung nag aapply apply palang ako for the job I really wanted. After ko mag ayos, mag sesend ako pic and you would tell me na ang ganda ko. Tapos ieencourage moko na kaya ko.

Pag pinag uusapan natin dreams natin. Our jobs, our future together. Alin mauuna na bilhin, bahay or kotse. Kung bahay muna bago ikasal. All these things made me so happy kasi I was part of your plans. All the way.

For all the times you showed me how relevant my feelings are to you. How certain things made me uncomfortable and you try your best to not make me feel that way. How certain things upset me so you would think about me first. For all the times you included me.

When you would go to family gatherings with me and that one time without me. You showed me how my family became yours too.

It also makes me happy how each step to get you to where you are now, I was part of it all. Kasi when we were still dreaming, I've always said to myself na tulungan tayo, na hindi ka mag iisa. That I would be there as much as you need me to be. It makes me so happy to know where you are.

I could go on and on about a lot of things. Pero sobrang haba na nito, so I'll just end it here. I still have a lot of good memories with you, things I can't share with anyone else. Intimate moments (funny ones too), as well as moments that are just for us. Also memories that I could write and chose not to 'cause that's for me to cherish alone. I just want to say that it was a great almost 6 years of knowing you. Besides your family, I'll be the most proud when you become a nurse there 'cause I think besides your family, I'm the only one who knew what you've been through, the good and bad. I declared myself your bestfriend. There may be moments that I'm the only one who knew, right? All these memories I will keep forever. 'Cause no matter what ugly moments we had, everything gets washed out by these wonderful memories. It's painful remembering all these, but it's the kind of pain that makes you smile too.

05/28/16 ENTRY: ig post

This was taken at a resort in our hometown, Lemlunay Resort. I was here for two times to unwind because of the same person. First was way back 2015, when my classmate approached me and asked how I was doing. That time, I was feeling sad and all cus I think my first gf and I at that time had a fight. I dont remember exactly the reason behind the fight. So, I told her what happened and she offered to take me out to the beach for the next hour. Amused and happy, I asked her how we’d dry ourselves. She then told me to go home, pick up some clothes since she’ll have to go home too and get her dad’s car. I agreed and so when our current class ended, I went straight home. I packed some bikini, small towels and got some money from my piggy bank for extra. After and hour, we met at Robinsons Mall where she parked the car. We went grocery shopping first to buy some snacks and went straight to the resort. Our travel took 30-40mins and when we arrived at the resort, it was empty. Well obviously, it was weekday and in the afternoon. The resort had two options for the entrance fee. You can either pay more to have access to the infinity pool or you can just pay around P300 and enjoy food in their resto which has free access to the ocean. Ah, yes. The resort’s located in a clif. So the view from the infinity pool and resto was the ocean. Such an amazing view.

We ordered food and I got the potato salad. I dont know what the hell was a potato salad before but that’s what’s familiar for me at that time LOL and I ended up liking it so every time we went there, Id order the exact same thing. After we ate our food, I changed my clothes and went to the stairs that leads to the ocean. (Did I mention that we went there wearing our uniforms?! HAHA!) It was low tide that day so the waves were just calm and I enjoyed floating around. There was a rope tied from the staircase to idk where in the bottom of the ocean. I held on the rope while floating so I wouldnt go any further. I loved every second I spent with the ocean that day.

That in the photo was my second time going there with my former classmate, now closest friend. This time, she didnt took me here to unwind alone but all of us in our circle of friends went here to chill. This time, we had beer. All of us went to swim in the ocean and that day was high tide. The waves were a bit strong at that time and it made our stay there so much fun than we expected. We would all cling unto the ropes and laugh our asses out cus the waves were strong that we couldnt control our bodies from moving with the waves HAHA! That time also, I had my first tattoo. So I was kinda flexing it as well. I mentioned earlier that I came in this resort for the same reason and yes, she’s one of the reasons why I was there. To have fun and try to forget about her.

That day was one of the happiest moments in my life. I didnt care about anything. I let myself be who I am and be free from worries.

I’m sure being a stay-at-home mom with a team of nannies & maids equals to being busy lol. If you cooked all the time, you’d think your husband would talk about it. Dude had to go way back to S4 just to say anything about about a favorite dish & even then it was just “tomato soup, salad, & steak” lol. At another con, he talked about him being the one who cooks after he shops for groceries lol. According to both Js, they’ve used a delivery service for groceries too.

My parents were both busy af working & they still made homemade food without this bullshit. No service to deliver pre-portioned food or any recipe pamphlet. Chick has all the time in the world yet making meals is just too tough?
