It wouldn’t surprise me. Two people I know are working with American companies in similar industries at the moment too - one’s getting ready to tour a theatre show in New York, the other is my producer, who’s working with US investors on a documentary (not my one) - and both of them talk a LOT about the fact that the Americans they’re working with just don’t think about the time difference, so most meetings end up being 4am Australian time. Sam’s definitely said the same thing too, particularly that his auditions for Lestat were usually at 3am Sydney time, so - purely speculating, haha - but that could be a factor too.
