the 'deaged scenes' trend has made me want, so badly, to see clips of later-seasons Buffy & Angel with Spike & Angel edited to look like they hadn't aged a day since their first appearance
#buffy#buffy the vampire slayer#btvs#ats#angel the series#don't get me wrong both Marsters and Boreanaz aged well!#Boreanaz on Bones looked FAB#and late season 5/early season 6 Spike is peak 🔥 imho#(and i know I'm not alone on that)#and deaging is very uncanny valley etc#but- they are vampires! they are uncanny immortals!#and i would just love to see the effect of angel still looking like he did in ep 1 when he shows up in season 4/5/7 most of all#and while marsters really looked pretty much the same throughout btvs when you put scenes side by side his youthfulness in s2 jumps out#and his season 7 scenes especially would be *interesting* with that#i don't want a whole series reedit just 2 minute clips to feed the curiosity!#(a thought very influenced by those anakin re-edits from obi-wan kenobi)#alas i don't think any youtube CGI artist cares enough about a show that ended in 2003!#but you never know! someday someday#also the dream of a vampire show built out from the concept of keeping the immortal characters unaging by shooting scenes early or CGI etc#just spitballing!#give me that immortality angst!
