since I ... realized many in Kagepro fandom may have legit forgotten about these precious children and what helped jumpstart Kagepro as a series to begin with

remember the old KageDaze fan pv?? this pv is NOT CANON to the current series fyi BUT it obviously inspired a lot of it. Wannyanpuu since went on to work on the series itself iirc, as did Sidu, who helped with Konoha among etc.! most of this artwork is from Wannyanpuus’ verse or otherwise pre-main series / pre-Mekakucity Actors / anime. “Kagerou” (as called by fans) was essentially the “Heat Haze” given a “human” form i.e. Hibiya past a point of hundreds of thousands of loops.

(no I will never stop pointing out this line I mean) (that line’s still canon everyone) “Shirori” (iirc?) was Hiyori’s from the same! (or “Shiro” Hiyori) Hiyori also initially debuted with this short haired design - she wasn’t actually redesigned for canon until the later Children Record !! ... she was also obviously MUCH closer friends with Hibiya in these verses and there’s absolutely no indication of any of the stuff from the main series / novels. (because ... this came before that ....) in this verse she also (it’s implied at the very end of the video, anyway) legit tries to save Hibiya from death for the same amount of timeloops as he tries to save her.
