This was my bind for @after-avalon for the 2024 Renegade Exchange! I got introduced to this fic series through their fic choices, and I enjoyed it immensely. Technically, they only asked for the first fic (the 5 times & 1) but uh... I enjoyed stuff enough my completions heart would not allow me to only do a single fic from the series. so here is the set!

Beyond the Robin color scheme, I really wanted to lean into the Wayne manor motif. During the initial design process I struck out a bit on good interior images, so I fell back on a wrought iron motif. That had also inspired me to attempt a new craft on the cover, but plan A & B both failed to hack it for my timeline, so I hand-painted the cover instead.

I made a whole bunch of different page styles for this series because it's a whole anthology.

Edges of the text were inked black, waxed, & polished. Endpapers from @renato-crepaldi, waxed & burnished. Bookcloth is cranberry colibri. Endbands sewn with Japanese size 9 silk thread.

husband!nanami who brings you delicious pastries and a big bouquet of your favourite flowers every week without fail because he loves you oh so much. he loves how you always say thank you to him and appreciating him in ways he had never been appreciated before.

husband!nanami who opens the car door for you before you get on or of. he has to be the gentleman he promised to be so don't you dare touch the door, he'll quickly get out of the car and go to your side and open the door for you and offers his hand to help you out too

husband!nanami who carries your heels in his hands as well as your purse because yours tired and your heels are killing you. he always has a pair of flip flops with him just incase this happens which is almost all the time, but he doesn't mind. not one bit

husband!nanami who likes to have you in his arms while he's reading a book. either you're sleeping or on the phone he doesn't care. he claims that he focuses better on the book knowing that you are right next to him in his arms.

husband!nanami who gets flustered when you brush his neck, especially the part closer to his undercut. his neck and ears flashing red and he's unable to look you in the eyes because of your teasing.

husband!nanami who loves to walk up behind you and circle his arms around your waist and rest his cheek on your shoulder as you cook. not speaking a word after a long tiring day of work, he just wants to feel you on him in silence and be happy that he made such an excellent decision of marrying you.

husband!nanami who ends up talking a lot about you to his coworkers when they ask about anything that's related to you. "your lunch looks good. did you make it?". "it was my beautiful wife actually. she'll be pleased to know you said that". just looking for any excuse to show you off.

husband!nanami who is loved by your parents. he makes meaning conversations with your dad and is a help around the house without being asked which your mom absolutely adores. "you should be more like him", your mom says for the hundredth time you've visited them while nanami's washing the dishes.

husband!nanami who let's you know how much he loves. either through words of affirmation, spoiling you with gifts and just doing acts in your favour. you're his favourite person and he wants you to know that making it evident in his words and his actions.

Not the anon, but Kosa is a bill that's soon going to pass where minors on the internet get their parents to see what they search up and restrict things that are deemed "inappropriate." When in reality it prevents kids who are trying to learn about the lbgtq community and kids trying to identify abuse. The bill will change the internet forever and NOT in a good way.

Hello, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and a Happy New Year! Woohoo! I appreciate all of your patience with my sudden vacation.

This year was so incredible despite many obstacles!  I moved into a city I love. I’m surrounded by a growing cloud of amazing friends. I picked up new hobbies that have given me new things to be excited about and strive for success in. I feel stronger than ever in my faith. AND I also owe a large part of it to you all.

You are the reason I am able to live the life that I do- a full time cartoonist! Wow! Thank you so much for being there to commission me, to support me verbally,  or to simply laugh at my comics and button mash in the tags! Whenever I need a surge of inspiration, I look at all the wonderful things you are saying and it fills me with encouragement to keep on going. ( I might even be brave enough to start posting my original writing this year! 👀) I want to charge further and really see how much I can do with my time at 25.

Thank you so much for everything! I hope that you continue to look forward to all the things I create this year, and that you create as well! Art, music, good dinners, memories, anything that makes you happy!
